How To Make DIY Cat Activity Tent/Gym for Your Cat! Fun Craft Idea To Help Your Cat Be More Active! - Duration: 5:25.

Hi everyone!

Do you wanna know how to make this really fun activity gym for your cat ?

Me and Rags have a tutorial this week for you for this activity gym that we think your cat will absolutely love!

Ok, so all you need is for your DIY cat activity gym is a hula hoop, some fabric of your choice

A selection of cat toys that can be hung up using either ribbon

Or thick wool, a good pair of sciccors

And a big chunk of foam

Which we are going to be using for the bottom of gym

And to put it all together either a hot glue gun, a good fabric glue

Or if you are a clover plugs, unlike me, you can sew it

I'm not very good at sewing so I'm gonna go with hot glue gun

Ok, so the first thing you wanna do is take your hula hoop and cut it in to two separate semi circles

Ok, so after cutting your hoola hoop want you want to do is take your foam and measure out how much you need

By using the two halve of hula hoop

Once you've marked it out go ahead with your scissors and cut out where you have marked

So once you've marked out your foam, put it on to the fabric that you have and mark out where it is

Just so that you've got enough fabric to cover it up just to make it look a bit nicer

And then again, take these scissors - cut it out

Ok, so once you cut that out, I'm going to use hot glue gun, but if you are a lot more clever than me

You can

Sew it on

So just attach the fabric to your foam

Next take your two halves of a hula hoop

And if you want you can leave them plain,

But what I'm going to do is get some more of this fabric and wrap it around the hula hoops halves

So that they match

Ok so now we have our two halves of the hula hoops that are covered in the same fabric as the base

Ok, so now's the time to attach the hula hoops to the base

Now now get some of the off cuts of your fabric

Line it up with the corner of the foam and then cut out a little triangle, like this along here

Do that for each corner of your base

Ok, then you wanna take your little triangles and attach them on two sides to your base

Ok, so what we have here is four pockets

At the each corner of your base

And so take your two halves of hula hoop and just slot them in

Ok, so here we go! It is slotted in!

You can glue them down if you want - it will probably make it a little bit more secure

Ok, so they are now attached at each corner, but to make it more secure

Attach the two hula hoop halves together using ribbon or strong wool

Now to attach these take your ribbon or your wool and just tighten

On to the crossed hula hoops

Ok and here is our finished cat activity gym!

Forerunner 935: Getting Started - Duration: 3:36.

Dedicated athletes like you are going to love Forerunner 935,

the premium GPS running and triathlon watch that's designed to go the distance.

In this video, we'll show you how to set up and start using your Forerunner 935.

First, let's take a look at the device.

On the top left, you'll see the light key, which you'll use to control the backlight

and also access the controls menu.

Hold the light key to access the controls menu, which you can use to lock your device,

set it to "do not disturb" mode and more.

Below that are the up and down keys.

These help you navigate through the different menus,

data screens and widgets.

On the top right is the start/stop key, which, in addition to starting,

pausing and stopping timed activities,

you'll use to make menu selections.

Finally, on the bottom right is the back key.

Pressing it will return you to the previous screen.

Or, during timed activities, press it to mark a lap.

When you turn on your device for the first time, you'll be prompted to enter your language preference.

Then, it will ask if you want to pair it with your smartphone.

If you select yes, you can pair it and complete device setup through the Garmin Connect mobile app.

If you select no, you can complete the setup on your device and pair with a phone later.

If you choose to continue setting up your watch without your smartphone

you'll now enter your preferred unit of measurement and time format.

Finally, you'll answer a few questions about yourself, such as birth year,

height and weight before setup is complete.

Starting on your watch's time of day screen, you can access all of the features built into Forerunner 935.

For example, press the up or down key to cycle through preloaded widgets,

including heart rate, performance, smart notifications and more.

Remember, you can customise your widget loop by accessing the settings menu.

More on that in a minute.

You can also hold the up key to access the menu right from the time of day screen.

Here you can customise your watch face, access alarms and other settings.

By scrolling down to settings, you can customise the activities

and apps list or widget loop and other preferences.

Press the start key to bring you to the run home screen.

Press the down key to see some of the other activities 935 supports,

or press and hold the up key to access the menu.

In the menu, you can update your preferences for the currently selected activity,

such as changing data screens or setting up an alert, or for your watch in general.

To start an outdoor run, just press start to enter the data screen loop.

After that, you'll see the data screens.

Your watch will vibrate to let you know when GPS is ready.

This normally takes just a few moments.

Press the start key again to begin your activity.

During the activity, you can scroll up or down through the data screens to view important stats like distance,

time, and pace, as well as your heart rate.

When you're finished with your activity, press stop.

From here you can either re-start the timer and continue running, or scroll down to save your activity.

After you save, you'll be shown the achievements you accomplished such as personal records

or a new VO2 max,

6 Reasons To Read THE HATE U GIVE by Angie Thomas - Duration: 8:50.

Hey guys! It's Trina and today I'm going to be talking about The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas.

This is a 2017 debut novel which came out in March and I loved this book to pieces.

I gave it a 5 star rating and so far this year it is the best book that I have read.

In this video I'm going to tell you guys what the book is about in case you haven't heard

about it yet, and then I'm going to give you a few reasons why I think you should read

it, and then at the end I'll give a brief review of this book's quality as a debut novel.

The Hate U Give is a story about our main character named Starr who is a black teenager

living in a poor neighborhood but she actually commutes to go to a private school where most

of the students are white and she's one of the very few black students that attends.

Starr is coming home from a party one night, she is riding in the car with one of her childhood

best friends, Khalil, and Khalil is pulled over because his car has a busted taillight.

The situation escalates and the police officer that pulls them over, who was a white man,

ends up shooting and killing Khalil.

This police officer's side of the story says that he felt his life was being threatened

and he thought that they were going to pull a gun on him but Starr was in the car and

she knows that there was no gun, and they were not threatening the officer, and they

were trying to cooperate with him but Starr has to decide if she wants to speak up and

use her voice to talk about what really happened because the media has already started painting

Khalil as just like a basic thug.

As you can probably tell, this book was inspired by the #BlackLivesMatter movement and there's

so much more going on in this book than that but that is really the thing that sets off

this book and the whole rest of the story.

This is an #ownvoices book, which means that the main character and the author are both

black women, so the representation of race in this book comes from a place of experience with the author.

And I do want to encourage you guys, please look up some #ownvoices reviewers for this

book that can talk to you guys more about the representation of it.

There are a couple of BookTubers that I follow that I know have done an individual video

review for The Hate U Give.

I know India from BooksAndBigHair has done one, and so has Kashawn from TheBookArcher.

I'll put links to their reviews down in the description of mine and I highly encourage

you to check out their reviews.

Now I want to give you guys 6 reasons why you should read it.

If you like books that explore these themes, or these ideas, this is probably one that you would enjoy.

So, the first reason I think you should pick this book up is because it is super relevant.

Like I said, it was inspired by the #BlackLivesMatter movement and I think that if you are on social

media in any aspect, or even if you watch the news and you see these stories of minorities

who are being shot and killed by police for something really basic like a traffic stop,

whether or not you are familiar with these news stories and with the #BlackLivesMatter

movement, I think that this book is really information, and relevant, and relateable.

If you already know what these movements are all about, I think you will really relate

to this story, but if you aren't familiar with why all these hashtags exist and why

this keeps happening, and you don't know why there's a controversy between #BlackLivesMatter

and #AllLivesMatter I also think this book is really informative at explaining why the

#BlackLivesMatter movement is very important.

I really think everyone will get something out of this book and that it really speaks to current events.

The second reason I think you will like this one is if you like books that are very empowering.

This story is all about finding your voice, and I really loved the emphasis on your voice

is the best weapon that you have.

I loved watching Starr struggle with how she wanted to use her voice because she had some

very real and valid reasons on why she might not want to speak up, and then throughout

the story you see her learning what she wants to do and the stand that she wants to take.

So, it's definitely a very empowering story all about finding your voice.

Reason number three why I think you would like this book is if you enjoy books that

are all about staying true to yourself.

So in the summary like I told you guys, Starr lives in a poor neighborhood and she goes

to a private school full of rich white kids and she leads two different lives.

At home in her neighborhood, in her community, she feels like she is her real self but when

she's at school she feels like she's a different person.

Like, she has these different elements to her own personality that she kind of tries to hide.

She feels like she can't speak out about all of the things that she wants to because then

people would just see her as the "angry black girl."

She even has two totally separate friend groups that she doesn't let overlap very much and

over the course of this story Starr starts to learn how to merge her two lives together

and just be herself fully.

The fourth reason that I think you would enjoy this book is the way that it handles friendships.

Starr has a lot of really supportive friends in her life, but one of the things I loved

most about this book is it actually takes a toxic friendship and it approaches that

in a very healthy way.

In a lot of books, I feel like whenever there is a toxic friendship it's not really presented

as toxic, it's just kind of presented as well they're just mean girls, that's just how things are.

Or it's like exploring the loss of a friendship after that's happened.

But The Hate U Give is actually showing us the process of a friendship that used to be

very close starting to deteriorate throughout the course of the story and how Starr wants to handle that.

Starr and her mom have a really great heart to heart about friendships that I really enjoyed

and just seeing Starr weigh this friendship and what her friend's actions are doing, I

just really appreciated how this book looked at a toxic friendship and I think that is something

that I want to see more of in YA books because friendships do end and sometimes they are toxic.

The fifth reason why I think you should read this book is if you love books with a very

very strong family dynamic.

Both of Starr's parents play a very large role in her life and in the story.

She has siblings, a grandmother, an aunt and uncle who helped raise her, cousins, and even

her entire community who's basically treated like family.

I really loved the family and the community aspect and the dynamic between all of them in this book.

I thought it was so strong and it made everything just feel so so real.

If you love books that explore a character and who they are because of where they come

from and because of their family and the influence that they had in their life, this is definitely

a book I think you would enjoy.

And reason number six why I think you would like this book is if you like books that give you all the feels.

And I'm not kidding. I mean ALL of the feels.

It'll make you laugh out loud, it will make you cry.

It will make you so angry and then so happy.

This book does it all.

I really feel like that is a mark of great writing, so if you love books that are a full

emotional journey, this is definitely one I think you will love.

So those are six things that I think that if you look for those topics in books or you

like books that explore those, I definitely think you will enjoy The Hate U Give.

Now I want to talk more about it as a 2017 debut. I've come up with a list of questions

that I ask myself about the debuts that I'm reading, so I'm just going to go through those really quickly.

The first question that I am asking myself about the debuts I read this year is

why did I pick it up and did it deliver what it said it would?

I picked this book up simply because of the hype.

Hype is something that will make me interested in a book and this one was getting a lot of

hype and a lot of press, it got a ton of starred reviews very very early on, so I had known

about this book for a really long time and I definitely wanted to read it and see if

it was worth all of that hype.

And the answer of did it deliver?

It definitely did.

I thought it stood up to all of that hype.

I was not disappointed.

The second debut question I have is did this book feel like the author's first work?

And the simple answer to that is no way.

The writing, the world building in terms of like bringing this community, this neighborhood,

and this school to life, and the characterization, even the side characters - Angie Thomas has

built such a highly developed world and characters and story, and she does not feel like a debut author!

She feels like a seasoned pro.

Her writing is phenomenal and she has written so many different types of scenes

and different vibes in this book.

She goes from writing a shooting, to a day at school, to a basketball game, to a funeral,

to riots and protests, to a family dinner, to prom and she does all of these things without

even missing a beat.

It really is one of the deepest, most well developed, realest, and more relateable books

that I have ever read. The next question for this debut that I have is

does this book make me want to read more by this author?

And that answer is a resounding yes.

I will absolutely read Angie Thomas's next book.

I don't even need to know what it is about.

I do know that she has a book deal and I think she has said it is set in the same neighborhood

as The Hate U Give but it's not like a direct sequel.

I will be reading that book.

It is going to be an auto-read book for me because I really loved her writing and the

storytelling so much! It was incredible.

I will definitely be reading her next book, and probably the one after that, and the one after that.

And finally I want to end this video by just saying do I recommend this book?

Absolutely. I would recommend this book to anybody.

I think anyone could get something out of it, be it an informative story, or be it a

very relateable story, and I really just loved it.

There was not a SINGLE thing about this book that I did not like.

I definitely, absolutely recommend this book without hesitation.

I loved it.

Try this at your next party. Ask your guests to define the term Social Justice.

Okay, it's not Charades or Twister, but it

should generate some interesting conversation, especially if your guests are on the political Left.

Since everyone on that side of the spectrum talks incessantly about social justice,

they should be able to provide a good definition, right?

But ask ten liberals to tell you what they mean by social justice and you'll get ten

different answers. That's because Social Justice means anything

its champions want it to mean.

Almost without exception, labor unions, universities and colleges, private foundations and public charities

claim at least part of their mission to be the spreading of Social Justice far and wide.

Here's the Mission Statement of the AFL-CIO,

but it could be the mission statement for a thousand such organizations:

"The mission of the AFL-CIO is to improve the lives of working families -- to bring economic justice

to the workplace, and social justice to our nation."

In short, "social justice" is code for good things no one needs to argue for --

and no one dare be against.

This very much troubled the great economist Friedrich Hayek.

This is what he wrote in 1976, two years after winning the Nobel Prize in Economics.

"I have come to feel strongly that the greatest service I can still render to my fellow men

would be that I could make the speakers and writers among them thoroughly ashamed ever

again to employ the term 'social justice'."

Why was Hayek so upset by what seems like such a positive, and certainly unobjectionable term?

Because Hayek, as he so often did, saw right

to the core of the issue. And what he saw frightened him.

Hayek understood that beneath the political opportunism and intellectual laziness of the

term "social justice" was a pernicious philosophical claim,

namely that freedom must be sacrificed in order to redistribute income.

Ultimately, "social justice" is about the state amassing ever increasing power in

order to, do "good things." What are good things?

Well, whatever the champions of social justice decide this week.

But first, last and always it is the cause of economic redistribution.

According to the doctrine of Social Justice, the haves always have too much, the have nots,

never have enough. You don't have to take my word for it.

That is precisely how a UN report on Social Justice defines the term:

"Social justice may be broadly understood as the fair and compassionate distribution

of the fruits of economic growth.

Social justice is not possible without strong and coherent redistributive policies

conceived and implemented by public agencies." I repeat: "Strong and coherent redistributive

policies conceived and implemented by public agencies."

And it gets worse.

The UN report goes on to insist that: "Present-day believers in an absolute truth identified

with virtue and justice are neither willing nor desirable companions for the defenders

of social justice." Translation: if you believe truth and justice

are concepts independent of the agenda of the forces of progress as defined by the left,

you are an enemy of social justice.

Compassion – or social justice -- is when government takes your money and gives it to someone else.

Greed is when you want to keep it.

The underlying point of social justice, then, amounts to a sweeping indictment of a free society.

It suggests that any perceived unfairness,

or sorrow, or economic want must be addressed by yet another government effort to remedy

that unfairness, that sorrow, or that economic want.

All we need to do is invoke the abracadabra phrase "social justice" and we're on our way.

The invocation of social justice always works from the assumption that the right people

– the anointed few – can simply impose fairness, prosperity and any other good thing

you can think of. And the only institution capable of imposing social justice is the state.

And keep in mind, the conventional wisdom among liberal elites

is that conservatives are the ones who want to impose their values on everyone else.

The self-declared champions of social justice believe the state must remedy and can remedy

all perceived wrongs. Anyone who disagrees is an enemy of what is

good and right. And the state must therefore coerce them

to do what is socially just. And that, as Hayek prophesied, is no longer a free society.

Is that the kind of society you want to live in?

If it isn't, beware of what will be done in the name of social justice.

How To Make DIY Cat Activity Tent/Gym for Your Cat! Fun Craft Idea To Help Your Cat Be More Active! - Duration: 5:25.

Hi everyone!

Do you wanna know how to make this really fun activity gym for your cat ?

Me and Rags have a tutorial this week for you for this activity gym that we think your cat will absolutely love!

Ok, so all you need is for your DIY cat activity gym is a hula hoop, some fabric of your choice

A selection of cat toys that can be hung up using either ribbon

Or thick wool, a good pair of sciccors

And a big chunk of foam

Which we are going to be using for the bottom of gym

And to put it all together either a hot glue gun, a good fabric glue

Or if you are a clover plugs, unlike me, you can sew it

I'm not very good at sewing so I'm gonna go with hot glue gun

Ok, so the first thing you wanna do is take your hula hoop and cut it in to two separate semi circles

Ok, so after cutting your hoola hoop want you want to do is take your foam and measure out how much you need

By using the two halve of hula hoop

Once you've marked it out go ahead with your scissors and cut out where you have marked

So once you've marked out your foam, put it on to the fabric that you have and mark out where it is

Just so that you've got enough fabric to cover it up just to make it look a bit nicer

And then again, take these scissors - cut it out

Ok, so once you cut that out, I'm going to use hot glue gun, but if you are a lot more clever than me

You can

Sew it on

So just attach the fabric to your foam

Next take your two halves of a hula hoop

And if you want you can leave them plain,

But what I'm going to do is get some more of this fabric and wrap it around the hula hoops halves

So that they match

Ok so now we have our two halves of the hula hoops that are covered in the same fabric as the base

Ok, so now's the time to attach the hula hoops to the base

Now now get some of the off cuts of your fabric

Line it up with the corner of the foam and then cut out a little triangle, like this along here

Do that for each corner of your base

Ok, then you wanna take your little triangles and attach them on two sides to your base

Ok, so what we have here is four pockets

At the each corner of your base

And so take your two halves of hula hoop and just slot them in

Ok, so here we go! It is slotted in!

You can glue them down if you want - it will probably make it a little bit more secure

Ok, so they are now attached at each corner, but to make it more secure

Attach the two hula hoop halves together using ribbon or strong wool

Now to attach these take your ribbon or your wool and just tighten

On to the crossed hula hoops

Ok and here is our finished cat activity gym!

How I Became A Writer | My Writing Journey - Duration: 7:54.

Today I thought I'd tell you about why and how I became a writer.

We talk a lot about my passion for storytelling here, but I don't think I've ever told

you how my passion for words came to be.

I'm really excited to share my writing journey with you and especially to tell you why I

decided to become a young adult author in particular.

I've always been a reader.

My mother used to be a teacher long before I was born, so early education was really

important to her.

She made me personalized picture books where I was the star.

She read to me all the time.

She stocked our home with lots of books.

I actually read the first Harry Potter in kindergarten.

There's a really sweet story about that.

I was introduced to Harry Potter through a book themed ornament a kind old man gave me

at the swap market because I was crying about a doll we couldn't afford.

He told us all about Harry Potter to cheer me up and got me super excited about a tiny

little Christmas ornament, so my mom bought me the first book and the rest is history.

Now the thing is, if you're a poor bookworm, you read some pretty crazy things.

Save for Harry Potter, most of my books were hand me downs or yard sale finds.

I read a lot of books that were probably inappropriate for my age level, including a lot of True

Crime.

I'm mentioning that now because it will be relevant later.

I also read lots of children's classics like Judy Bloom, Nancy Drew, the Boxcar kids,

Goosebumps, Sweet Valley High, and the Babysitter's club.

Oh my gosh, I loved the Babysitter's club.

I've always loved kids and I use to be a nanny for twins and a daycare worker in charge

of twenty babies at once, so you could definitely say my early reading habits influenced those

career decisions.

Anyway, most of my books were older and I was rough with them.

I read my copy of Matilda so much it literally fell apart.

The same thing happened with two HARDBACK copies of Prisoner of Azkaban.

But I still didn't get the inkling that I might someday want to become an author!

Looking back on my childhood, I really should have realized it sooner.

I routinely played a game called Cops & Serial Killers with my brothers, where I buried my

Bratz dolls in the backyard and investigated their murders with my "Detective" brothers,

complete with tearful interviews with the other dolls and lots of twists and turns because

I had to think of dramatic reveals to mask the fact I was both the lead investigator

and the actual "murderer."

Pretty much all my childhood games involved long and complicated backstories for all of

my dolls and stuffed animals.

I'd even write these down for my brothers to refer to so they didn't get lost in the

big picture and yet I still didn't think, "Hey, I like telling stories… maybe I

should do something about that."

In fact it wasn't until middle school that I started writing stories for the joy of creative

writing instead of as a supplement to something else.

I got my start writing fan fiction for a series called The Clique by Lisi Harrison.

There was a I think direct to TV movie coming out for that series and they had a forum to

promote it.

I shared my writing there all the time.

I've mentioned before that I broke my leg very badly in middle school and I couldn't

be as active outdoors as I used to be.

I gained a lot of confidence in myself through the friends I made in this tiny web community

and the feedback my writing received there.

I was already sort of primed to take on writing as an obsession when I discovered Twilight.

Now—in case you don't know—for all the hate Twilight received, it was pretty revolutionary

at it's time.

If not for the content, for what it did for the Young Adult genre.

Harry Potter played a very big part in legitimizing writing for young adults as something that

could be taken seriously and equally enjoyed by adults as well as teenagers and children,

but it was Twilight that brought Young Adult to the level it is at today.

Twilight was a global obsession, at one time consisting of 15% of all book sales total

in a year long period.

Publishers really wanted to invest in what made twilight so popular and the growth from

that, from selling future books similar to ones from that group that did well, really

brought Young Adult into it's own sustainable market.

The years before Twilight in Young Adult, the early 2000s, were a rough time for Young

Adult.

I mentioned before that I spent my childhood reading a lot of children's classics.

For a long time, that's all that young adult literature was.

Moral stories or cheap mass paperbacks.

Writing for teens or children was not considered very serious, literary, or profitable.

Twilight was a leading factor in what helped push YA into what it is today.

Young Adult books used to be a single shelf in the children's section and now it's

an entire aisle.

There are so many options now.

Epic Reads YouTube channel made a very cool video on the history of Young Adult that explains

this much more clearly.

I'll link it in the description if you'd like to learn more.

Anyway, so discovering Twilight, especially at the prime age it was targeting, was sort

of revolutionary.

I wrote a lot more fanfiction, but I also started nurturing my own stories and wondering

how I could publish my ideas.

I owe a great debt to Alexandra Bracken.

She's a very well known author now, but I won a contest for her first novel,

and in addition to the novel (which is wonderful, by the way) the prize also included

a $50 gift card.

$50 in book money was like winning the lottery.

It was really the first time I could invest in new books for myself.

Alex also had a pretty detailed blog at the start of her career where she talked about

her publishing journey and her work as an editing or marketing assistant (I can't

remember exactly which) at a New York publishing house.

Her blog taught me a LOT about writing, the traditional publishing experience, and the

industry.

By the time I was sixteen I'd basically decided there was no other path for me.

I actually have a very clear memory of reading Lauren Oliver's Delirium and thinking throughout

the entire experience, "This is what I want to do.

This is how I want people to feel when they read my work.

I want to be on the other side of the page."

I'd already been researching the industry, but that was the first time I read a book

and felt as connected to the process of writing as I was to the story I was reading.

I remember being so impressed by the little pieces of world building that would preface

each chapter and desperately wanting to learn how to use that same skill myself.

I really wanted to make someone else feel as inspired and impressed as I felt right

then.

That really marked a turning point of reading as a writer for me.

From then on I started seriously examining what made a book work as I read.

I prioritized a practical career because it's irresponsible not to, but even if I could

only write in the bathroom or on lunch breaks my goal was and will always be to be a published

author someday.

Specifically a young adult author.

I never considered a different subset of the writing industry.

While I would like to try my hand at screenwriting and other mediums someday, my heart has always

been in young adult.

Young adult fiction gave me confidence and strength as friendships fell apart, as my

heart was broken both by people I cared about and by harsh realities of life and dreams

I was forced to set aside.

Young adult fiction helped shape me into the woman I am today.

I'm always going to want to speak to the girl I was, to tell the stories I needed to hear

at that age.

The story of how I became a writer is a really a story wrapped up in what inspired me and

gave me hope.

Reading and writing have always been there for me, even when nothing or no one else could

be.

I'm beyond grateful for what that has done for me and I would be honored if my words

could do that for someone else.

The corruption in our government is astounding and the more you dig into the corruption the

more you find.

Which is exactly why Donald Trump won the election for all those brain dead liberals

there reading this.

The American people are sick and tired of being lied to and want to take back the country

from these lying despots.

For example, over the past two decades an astounding $10 trillion yes, I said trillion,

has gone missing and no one knows where it went.

Since 1996, federal agencies must be audited just like the American people are.

Well, apparently, the Pentagon has decided to exempt themselves for the last 20 years.

Now, I have an issue with this considering that it is the taxpayer's money missing.

"Over the last 20 years, the Pentagon has broken every promise to Congress about when

an audit would be completed," Rafael DeGennaro, director of Audit the Pentagon, told the Guardian

recently.

Well, that seems to be rather frightening if you ask me.

Considering that during Obama's administration we learned of scandals such as "Fast and

Furious" and that Hillary Clinton armed ISIS.

Officials with the Government Accountability Office and Office of the Inspector General

have noted financial disparities at the Pentagon for years.

Republican representative for Texas Michael Burgess, co-sponsor of the Audit the Pentagon

Act had this to say.

"Quite frankly, they should have been audit-ready decades ago, after Congress passed the initial

audit law in the early 90s, people have accepted that the Department of Defense is expensive

and that that's how business has to be done.

But I don't accept that."

And, neither should we.

This is our money that is being spent and we deserve to know where it is going.

Over the last 8 years, Obama shrunk our military to pre-World War II capabilities, so where

is the money?

I truly hope that we are able to track down this astronomical amount of money and get

some answers.

This is why Trump was elected president and I hope that he does delegate someone to look

into this matter seriously.

In a trend that is growing across America, MS-13 gangs are terrorizing United States

communities.

These gangs Central American gangs are highly organized and capable of horrific violence.

What is even more aggravating is that sanctuary cities are harboring these violent criminals.

In the most recent case, an admitted MS-13 gang member, who has been deported 4 times

has been accused of a despicable crime.

Tommy Alvarado-Ventura, 31, is accused of sexually attacking a 2-year-old child in Long

Island, New York and has pleaded not guilty.

Oh, but that is just the beginning of this monsters crimes.

According to Breitbart:

The incident reportedly began when Alvarado-Ventura got into an argument with a woman over a marijuana

deal.

The argument spilled over into the parking lot where he allegedly stabbed her.

She suffered a collapsed lung.

Officials have not released her name.

After stabbing the woman, the MS-13 gang member returned to an apartment where the two-year-old

girl lived with her mother.

The mother was at work at the time, acting Nassau County Police Commissioner Thomas Krumpter

told reporters.

At that point, he allegedly sexually assaulted the little girl before the mother returned

home.

When she arrived at the apartment and discovered her daughter's condition, an argument broke

out, and Alvarado-Ventura stabbed her.

She managed to barricade herself in another part of the apartment and called the police

for help.

Acting Nassau County Police Department Commissioner Thomas Krumpte said that it was "probably

the most heinous criminal act I've ever seen".

Of course, I lay this all at the doorstep of Obama and the democrats.

For years, they have been ignoring our immigration laws and allowing these violent criminals

in.

Now, President Trump is ready to address these issues and make America safe again for everyone.

It is the time to put our citizens' safety first and build the wall to ensure it.

I pray that this innocent child is able to recover quickly as well all the other victims

of these heinous crimes.

I also hope that this despicable waste of human flesh is held accountable for them all.

From the moment President Trump began cracking down on illegal immigration and not making

apologies for rounding up and booting these people out, liberals have been losing their

minds.

Their love for illegals has been on full display, but no more than what was recently seen from

a Massachusetts Congresswoman who was caught in a sickening act today that has everyone

calling for her to step down immediately.

The resistance against our leader's efforts to stop illegal immigration and put the welfare

of American citizens first just reached its worst point with what Michelle DuBois was

found doing.

Emboldened by the movement to rebuke our president, the Congresswoman didn't even try to hide

what she was doing when she made a public post about it.

According to the Daily Caller, DuBois made a public announcement on Facebook 12 hours

ago, warning illegals in her state exactly where and when the next ICE raid would take

place.

The all-illegal alert went out with enough time for them to scatter like rats and hide

in holes, so they could avoid deportation, and carry on with whatever crimes on citizens

they may be participating in, once the dust from the deportation attempt settles.

In her clear act of undermining authorities, including our own president, the state representative

said (in part), "If you are undocumented don't go out on the street," DuBois, who

represents the 10th district, said in her post in addition to more specific details

about the raid.

"If there is a knock on the door of your house and you don't know who it is, don't

open the door.

I ask you to be careful."

Her post garnered over 1,000 comments, mostly from astonished people who couldn't believe

the public defiance and the sick example she was setting as a state representative.

She responded to the complaints and was not kind about it:

"I am deleting attacks [on the original posts]," she wrote in one response, Daily

Caller reported.

"This post is to inform.

Not debate immigration policy.

It's my page and I can delete posts."PEPSI CEO Just Made SHAMEFUL Statement About Trump!

Even Barack Obama has managed somehow to be cordial and fairly gracious to incoming President

Donald Trump.

But not Pepsi CEO and chairperson Indra Nooyi.

She chose instead to be combative and caustic.

She launched multiple attacks on Donald Trump, stating: "How dare you talk about women

that way!"

She basically sees Trump as the end of society.

Pepsi might want to consider replacing this shrew before their stock takes a fatal dive.

Nooyi, who claims employees broke into tears over Trump winning the White House (color

me very skeptical over that claim), assured them it was not the end of the world.

How big of her.

"The first thing that we all have to do is to assure everyone living in the United

States that you are safe," she said Thursday, reported CNBC.

"Nothing has changed as a result of this election.

The process of democracy has happened.

We just have to let life go on."

Yes, life will go on… but things have indeed changed, don't kid yourself.

Was such caustic criticism really necessary?

"Everybody is sad when their side loses an election," he declared.

"But the day after, we have to remember that we're actually all on one team.

This is an intramural scrimmage."

This woman is holding a grudge and throwing a hissy fit.

It's just classless and juvenile.

I don't know what else I would expect from a rabid Hillary Clinton supporter.

"A lot of what should have been said during the election, I don't think was said.

We let the politics trump the issues, pardon the pun.

The real issues that are facing the country, we never talked about."

You see, that's exactly backwards.

We did talk about issues that were important to mainstream Americans, you just didn't

listen or care.

That's the problem.

You are so wrapped up in insane subjects such as gender, birth control and climate change,

you've lost total touch with what is important to most people out there.

Like jobs and being able to put food on the table.

Trump won because he listened and he took Americans seriously.

Clinton lost because she has no idea how to relate to a real human being anymore.

So, sending these updates out that have your exact revenue,

you don't have to reveal these publicly,

but sending it to, like, five or six people

will hold you accountable, right.

You'll know that you have to report

on how your business is doing every month,

so it'll keep you doing it,

and then also, you'll get really valuable advice.

I've gotten some great advice from the people

that I've been sending these out to.

This idea came from Techstars.

Here's a post on the Techstars blog from 2016

that goes over a monthly investor update.

We don't have investors at Experiment 27,

so I tweaked it and then just sending it out to mentors.

So, I'm gonna link that down in the description.

You can check out that post.

And, that brings us to what to include,

and in this, I'm gonna run through

our actual November, 2016 numbers.

It's far enough in the past that it's okay to reveal,

plus I think I already revealed this

in a past video, so it's totally fine.

So, the good, we crossed the 400,000 ARR mark,

added another 100k in 30 days, lol,

talked about how we hired eight people,

how we had one refund versus what we were having before,

which was a high refund rate, I was talking about

how good our sales team is, nothing really bad,

and then our key performance indicators here.

So, last month's actual revenue,

this month's actual revenue, forecast

and then how we did versus the forecast last month.

And then, also the marketing pipeline,

talkin' what's coming, and then questions

that I have for the people, and then also any asks.

So, whether they have favors they can give,

you ask about that there, and then link to the past updates.

All of our past updates are in a Google drive

so anyone can go back and see what happened in the past.

And it's as simple as that.

Just by putting the numbers down

and sending them to your mentors,

you're going to improve, right.

What gets measured gets managed,

and what gets measured publicly

and has embarrassment tied to it

is more likely to improve over time,

as I've seen with the revenue for our company

going up every single month, except for December, 2016.

And, the last part is where do you get the mentor list?

Right, who are these people that I'm emailing this to?

Well, they're trusted people in my circle.

So, one of them is one of my

former bosses who I really look up to.

Another one is a friend that runs a business that

I randomly met staying in a hacker house in San Francisco.

And then a few others are bloggers

and YouTubers that I really look up to.

One that specifically asked for updates on the company

after I interviewed him on this YouTube channel,

and then the others that I've just

been sending without permission.

One unsubscribed, but then the other

is still getting the updates and loves 'em.

So, that's the way to do it.

Do I recommend just spamming these updates

to all of your mentors and seeing who responds?

I do recommend it because most people

are interested in this type of thing,

especially if you're actually crushing it.

It appears the Chinese public follows its government's lead in terms of its anti-Korean

sentiments over the deployment of a powerful piece of U.S. military hardware to Korean

soil.

Although the initial rage has subsided, the two countries' relationship could have been

damaged beyond the point of no return.

Kwon Jang-ho is in Beijing with more.

Flags torn up, cars smashed in, and boisterous protests - These were the images that were

coming from China earlier this month, in response to South Korea's decision to deploy the U.S.

missile defense system, THAAD.

Politicians and state media voiced strong condemnation towards Seoul, and it became

the the number one trending subject on Chinese social media.

For the roughly 300-thousand Koreans living in China, it has been a fraught and anxious

time, with rumors of discrimination and even physical attacks.

Long-time residents in Beijing say it's the most tense period they have ever experienced.

"In the last three to four years, especially because of the Korean wave, there were many

Chinese people who felt warmly towards Koreans.

But because that mood switched in an instant, it felt even more impactful."

However, despite initial fears, the Korean embassy in Beijing confirmed that thankfully

no major incident or injury has taken place so far.

"It's true that many Korean residents here are nervous.

So every day since the beginning of March, we've been in contact with local Korean communities,

student groups, as well as the Chinese authorities...but nothing has been reported."

The rhetoric out of Beijing has eased in recent days, and attacks on social media have dissipated

as well.

Korean residents cautiously believe things are steadily going back to normal, but there's

now a distance in the Chinese public's attitude towards Korea.

"I think Korean leaders made the wrong decision.

They didnt consider our feelings and I'm upset.

We all want peace not war, but the fact that they came out like this really makes me angry

and incensed."

"I used to like Korea.

I used to use a lot of Korean products and visit Korea as well.

But after they did with THAAD, I can't do these things any more.

If I did, it would mean I would have no love for my country."

Can Korea and China's relationship ever go back to the way things were?

While THAAD is in Korea, China says no.

"The economic and cultural relationship could recover...

But the political and security issues cannot be resolved.

The only way out would be is if North Korea were to give up its nuclear weapons, meaning

there would be no need for THAAD.

But until then, this situation will not change."

"The height of the anti-Korean sentiment seems to have passed...for now.

But resentment remains.

And with the THAAD deployment still to come, the previously close Korea-China relationship

may never be quite so warm again.

calling for her to step down immediately.

The resistance against our leader's efforts to stop illegal immigration and put the welfare

found doing.

Emboldened by the movement to rebuke our president, the Congresswoman didn't even try to hide

what she was doing when she made a public post about it.

According to the Daily Caller, DuBois made a public announcement on Facebook 12 hours

ago, warning illegals in her state exactly where and when the next ICE raid would take

place.

The all-illegal alert went out with enough time for them to scatter like rats and hide

in holes, so they could avoid deportation, and carry on with whatever crimes on citizens

they may be participating in, once the dust from the deportation attempt settles.

In her clear act of undermining authorities, including our own president, the state representative

said (in part), "If you are undocumented don't go out on the street," DuBois, who

represents the 10th district, said in her post in addition to more specific details

about the raid.

"If there is a knock on the door of your house and you don't know who it is, don't

open the door.

I ask you to be careful."

Her post garnered over 1,000 comments, mostly from astonished people who couldn't believe

the public defiance and the sick example she was setting as a state representative.

She responded to the complaints and was not kind about it:

"I am deleting attacks [on the original posts]," she wrote in one response, Daily

Caller reported.

"This post is to inform.

Not debate immigration policy.

The process of democracy has happened.

We just have to let life go on."

recently.

Well, that seems to be rather frightening if you ask me.

Considering that during Obama's administration we learned of scandals such as "Fast and

Furious" and that Hillary Clinton armed ISIS.

Officials with the Government Accountability Office and Office of the Inspector General

have noted financial disparities at the Pentagon for years.

Republican representative for Texas Michael Burgess, co-sponsor of the Audit the Pentagon

Act had this to say.

"Quite frankly, they should have been audit-ready decades ago, after Congress passed the initial

audit law in the early 90s, people have accepted that the Department of Defense is expensive

and that that's how business has to be done.

But I don't accept that."

And, neither should we.

This is our money that is being spent and we deserve to know where it is going.

Over the last 8 years, Obama shrunk our military to pre-World War II capabilities, so where

is the money?

I truly hope that we are able to track down this astronomical amount of money and get

some answers.

This is why Trump was elected president and I hope that he does delegate someone to look

into this matter seriously.

When she arrived at the apartment and discovered her daughter's condition, an argument broke

out, and Alvarado-Ventura stabbed her.

She managed to barricade herself in another part of the apartment and called the police

for help.

Acting Nassau County Police Department Commissioner Thomas Krumpte said that it was "probably

the most heinous criminal act I've ever seen".

Of course, I lay this all at the doorstep of Obama and the democrats.

the premium GPS running and triathlon watch that's designed to go the distance.

In this video, we'll show you how to set up and start using your Forerunner 935.

First, let's take a look at the device.

On the top left, you'll see the light key, which you'll use to control the backlight

and also access the controls menu.

Hold the light key to access the controls menu, which you can use to lock your device,

set it to "do not disturb" mode and more.

Below that are the up and down keys.

These help you navigate through the different menus,

data screens and widgets.

On the top right is the start/stop key, which, in addition to starting,

pausing and stopping timed activities,

you'll use to make menu selections.

Finally, on the bottom right is the back key.

Pressing it will return you to the previous screen.

Or, during timed activities, press it to mark a lap.

Even Barack Obama has managed somehow to be cordial and fairly gracious to incoming President

Donald Trump.

But not Pepsi CEO and chairperson Indra Nooyi.

She chose instead to be combative and caustic.

She launched multiple attacks on Donald Trump, stating: "How dare you talk about women

that way!"

She basically sees Trump as the end of society.

Pepsi might want to consider replacing this shrew before their stock takes a fatal dive.

Nooyi, who claims employees broke into tears over Trump winning the White House (color

me very skeptical over that claim), assured them it was not the end of the world.

How big of her.

"The first thing that we all have to do is to assure everyone living in the United

States that you are safe," she said Thursday, reported CNBC.

"Nothing has changed as a result of this election.

The process of democracy has happened.

We just have to let life go on."

Yes, life will go on… but things have indeed changed, don't kid yourself.

"If we don't nip this in the bud, it is going to be a lethal force in society,"

she added, as reported by Forbes.

Was such caustic criticism really necessary?

Even President Obama had reportedly promised Wednesday to "root for" Trump and essentially

let bygones be bygones, according to The New York Times.

"Everybody is sad when their side loses an election," he declared.

"But the day after, we have to remember that we're actually all on one team.

This is an intramural scrimmage."

This woman is holding a grudge and throwing a hissy fit.

It's just classless and juvenile.

I don't know what else I would expect from a rabid Hillary Clinton supporter.

"A lot of what should have been said during the election, I don't think was said.

We let the politics trump the issues, pardon the pun.

The real issues that are facing the country, we never talked about."

You see, that's exactly backwards.

We did talk about issues that were important to mainstream Americans, you just didn't

listen or care.

That's the problem.

You are so wrapped up in insane subjects such as gender, birth control and climate change,

you've lost total touch with what is important to most people out there.

Like jobs and being able to put food on the table.

Trump won because he listened and he took Americans seriously.

Clinton lost because she has no idea how to relate to a real human being anymore.

It's sad that this sea hag is using the Pepsi brand as a Leftist political podium.

The Joy of Pepsi-Cola isn't so joyful these days.

The corruption in our government is astounding and the more you dig into the corruption the

more you find.

Which is exactly why Donald Trump won the election for all those brain dead liberals

there reading this.

The American people are sick and tired of being lied to and want to take back the country

from these lying despots.

For example, over the past two decades an astounding $10 trillion yes, I said trillion,

has gone missing and no one knows where it went.

Since 1996, federal agencies must be audited just like the American people are.

Well, apparently, the Pentagon has decided to exempt themselves for the last 20 years.

Now, I have an issue with this considering that it is the taxpayer's money missing.

"Over the last 20 years, the Pentagon has broken every promise to Congress about when

an audit would be completed," Rafael DeGennaro, director of Audit the Pentagon, told the Guardian

recently.

Well, that seems to be rather frightening if you ask me.

Considering that during Obama's administration we learned of scandals such as "Fast and

Furious" and that Hillary Clinton armed ISIS.

Officials with the Government Accountability Office and Office of the Inspector General

have noted financial disparities at the Pentagon for years.

Republican representative for Texas Michael Burgess, co-sponsor of the Audit the Pentagon

Act had this to say.

"Quite frankly, they should have been audit-ready decades ago, after Congress passed the initial

audit law in the early 90s, people have accepted that the Department of Defense is expensive

and that that's how business has to be done.

But I don't accept that."

And, neither should we.

This is our money that is being spent and we deserve to know where it is going.

Over the last 8 years, Obama shrunk our military to pre-World War II capabilities, so where

is the money?

I truly hope that we are able to track down this astronomical amount of money and get

some answers.

This is why Trump was elected president and I hope that he does delegate someone to look

into this matter seriously.

After What NASTY 4 Time Deported Illegal Did To Her

In a trend that is growing across America, MS-13 gangs are terrorizing United States

communities.

These gangs Central American gangs are highly organized and capable of horrific violence.

What is even more aggravating is that sanctuary cities are harboring these violent criminals.

In the most recent case, an admitted MS-13 gang member, who has been deported 4 times

has been accused of a despicable crime.

Tommy Alvarado-Ventura, 31, is accused of sexually attacking a 2-year-old child in Long

Island, New York and has pleaded not guilty.

Oh, but that is just the beginning of this monsters crimes.

According to Breitbart:

The incident reportedly began when Alvarado-Ventura got into an argument with a woman over a marijuana

deal.

The argument spilled over into the parking lot where he allegedly stabbed her.

She suffered a collapsed lung.

Officials have not released her name.

After stabbing the woman, the MS-13 gang member returned to an apartment where the two-year-old

girl lived with her mother.

The mother was at work at the time, acting Nassau County Police Commissioner Thomas Krumpter

told reporters.

At that point, he allegedly sexually assaulted the little girl before the mother returned

home.

When she arrived at the apartment and discovered her daughter's condition, an argument broke

out, and Alvarado-Ventura stabbed her.

She managed to barricade herself in another part of the apartment and called the police

for help.

Acting Nassau County Police Department Commissioner Thomas Krumpte said that it was "probably

the most heinous criminal act I've ever seen".

Of course, I lay this all at the doorstep of Obama and the democrats.

For years, they have been ignoring our immigration laws and allowing these violent criminals

in.

Now, President Trump is ready to address these issues and make America safe again for everyone.

It is the time to put our citizens' safety first and build the wall to ensure it.

I pray that this innocent child is able to recover quickly as well all the other victims

of these heinous crimes.

I also hope that this despicable waste of human flesh is held accountable for them all.

From the moment President Trump began cracking down on illegal immigration and not making

apologies for rounding up and booting these people out, liberals have been losing their

a Massachusetts Congresswoman who was caught in a sickening act today that has everyone

calling for her to step down immediately.

The resistance against our leader's efforts to stop illegal immigration and put the welfare

of American citizens first just reached its worst point with what Michelle DuBois was

found doing.

Emboldened by the movement to rebuke our president, the Congresswoman didn't even try to hide

what she was doing when she made a public post about it.

According to the Daily Caller, DuBois made a public announcement on Facebook 12 hours

ago, warning illegals in her state exactly where and when the next ICE raid would take

place.

The all-illegal alert went out with enough time for them to scatter like rats and hide

in holes, so they could avoid deportation, and carry on with whatever crimes on citizens

they may be participating in, once the dust from the deportation attempt settles.

In her clear act of undermining authorities, including our own president, the state representative

said (in part), "If you are undocumented don't go out on the street," DuBois, who

represents the 10th district, said in her post in addition to more specific details

about the raid.

"If there is a knock on the door of your house and you don't know who it is, don't

open the door.

I ask you to be careful."

Her post garnered over 1,000 comments, mostly from astonished people who couldn't believe

the public defiance and the sick example she was setting as a state representative.

She responded to the complaints and was not kind about it:

"I am deleting attacks [on the original posts]," she wrote in one response, Daily

Caller reported.

"This post is to inform.

Not debate immigration policy.

It's my page and I can delete posts."

- Hi guys! Today I'm with Giulia. - Hi!

Since Kat Von D is launching in Italy, you guys have been asking what I think about the brand.

So I created a makeup tutorial where I show you how to achieve a sexy and grunge look, in my style,

using the Kat Von D products I own.

I created an intense smokey eye, with lots of blending and more of a round shape.

I used lots of warm tones on the eyes from the Monarch and Shade and Light palettes.

For the lips, I mixed different products to create a cool colour, in contrast with the warm eyes.

The skin is flawless, very luminous and chiseled. I used the Shade and Light face palette.

I also drew a little star, which makes everything even more unique.

Let's move to the tutorial, I hope you like it!

I start by applying the Ultra Facial Moisturizer by Kiehl's.

It's a very rich and hydrating cream.

Can you do the massage you do to models?

I use my thumbs and I do this movement.

I hydrate the lips with some Blistex.

For foundation, I'm using Too Faced Born this Way in the shade Snow, mixed with some Vanilla.

I dab it and work it into the skin with a soft brush.

With the Beauty Blender I press it into the skin.

To even out the face, I apply the same foundation on the lids using the smaller brush.

I prefer using foundation or concealer because they're not sticky and they allow to layer well all the products.

I now apply some powder on the lid in order to set the foundation.

For the eyes, I'm using the Shade and Light palette and I'm starting from this medium brown.

I apply it in the crease to create the structure of the smokey eye.

These eyeshadows are very pigmented, but they're very easy to apply and to blend.

With this eyeshadow I contour the entire eye.

With this peachy shade, I blend the edges and I warm up the crease.

I now apply this medium dark, warm brown in the crease of the eye.

I also apply it on the inner part and I then join it to the outer part of the crease.

All the eyeshadows in this palette are matte and they're very versatile, you can create any look.

The texture is amazing.

They also don't cause fall out and they're not blotchy, because they perfectly adhere to the lid.

From the Monarch palette, which is discontinued, I apply this slightly luminous rusty shade.

I love this colour, it's beautiful.

It's slightly more powdery than those in the Shade and Light palette, but it's gorgeous.

I now conceal the under eye and brighten the center of the face with Smashbox Studio Skin 24 hours.

Before setting the under eye, I add warmth to the face with Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate.

I apply it under the cheekbones.

I just dab it, so that I don't move the foundation.

I then blend it with the Beauty Blender.

For the baking, I use Kat Von D Lock-It Translucent powder.

It's the first time I use it to bake, so I'm curious to see how it performs.

- You have tried it already, haven't you? - Yes, I like it and I use it often.

It's very thin and slightly more powdery than the Laura Mercier's one.

This one is less hydrating, as much as a powder can be hydrating.

- Laura Mercier's powder is creamier on the skin. - Yes, it blends into the skin.

This one remains on the surface.

It sets very well but it has a different texture than the Laura Mercier's one. See, we agree on this.

I now fill in the brows with the Brow Divine by NABLA in Venus.

Which part gives you more satisfaction in a makeup look?

On your face, brows.

- Or you asked in general? - Yes, in general.

- I like everything. - You're greedy of makeup.

Very greedy. But I actually love doing brows, in general.

I'm now using the Brow Pot by NABLA in the shade Mars, to add three-dimension.

With some foundation, I redefine the shape for a neat brow.

I now set the brows with Ready, Set, Brows! by Benefit, which I love.

- Which is mine. - It was. Not anymore.

Time to remove the excess powder.

I apply the same powder on the rest of the face, but in a small amount because I don't want it too matte.

- This brush is beautiful. - It's n.156 by Makeup Forever.

I then take the same medium brown I applied in the crease and I apply it right under the lashes.

Since I want a grunge look, I bring down the eyeshadow for a nice shading.

With a soft brush, I then blend the edges.

With the same brush and the peachy shade, I blend some more the edges.

I can't wait for these eyeshadows to be launched in Italy.

There are a lot of products I can't wait to try, also the metallic pen eyeliners. They look beautiful.

I'm applying on the lower lid the same shades used on the upper lid and I'm layering them gradually.

This gives continuity to the makeup and it creates an intense but sophisticated look.

I always do this when I go out in the evening.

If you don't apply makeup on the lower lid the eye seems smaller.

- How important are the brushes for the lower lid? - 300 per cent.

Which ones are you using?

This one is a pencil brush by Hakuhodo and I also use n. 221 by Zoeva to blend.

I use the Faux Blacks eyeliner by NYX in the shade Burnt Sienna, which is a very dark burgundy plum,

and I apply it on the waterline and on the outer edge.

I first blend it with the small brush and then, using the reddish brown, I blend it some more.

Daniele is thinking to tattoo the little cross under his eye.

I say yes, and if you don't like it you can always remove it with the laser.

- Not too invasive. - Yes, you just keep it for six months.

It's needless to say that I like tattoos, but it's not easy to get the first tattoo on the face.

- Maybe they can leave a comment down below. - Yes, I'm very curious.

I applied the same pencil on the upper lash line and I'm blending well because I don't want harsh lines.

I now curl the lashes.

For mascara, I'm using Le Film Noir by NABLA.

- You love it, don't you? - I do.

For false lashes, I apply the Weekly Wispy.

I applied them in a more centered position because I want to open up the eyes. I love the effect.

From the Shade and Light face palette, I mix these two shades, a cool and a warm one.

They're extremely pigmented so I just take a tiny bit, remove the excess and lightly dab it.

I then blend the edges.

For blush, I use Por Vida by Kat Von D, which is almost a neon pink. I apply the tiniest bit.

Just a small amount on the cheeks gives a healthy touch to this face.

- Why did you choose such an intense colour? - I liked it.

It's beautiful. Different from what I normally use, but very nice.

I'm not applying too much blush because this is a gothic makeup and it shouldn't look too healthy.

- Guess who was chosen as a model? - Her.

I spray Urban Decay Quick Fix only on the cheekbones because I want the rest of the face to remain opaque.

For highlighter, I apply Thunderstruck, which is a beautiful metallic eyeshadow.

I apply it on the cheekbones. It's so beautiful.

I'm applying a very generous amount because I want almost a mirrored effect.

I also apply it on the bridge of the nose, cupid's bow and chin.

I also apply it on the inner corner of the eye.

For lips, I want a colour in contrast with the eyes, so a cool mauve.

I start by applying NYX lip pencil SPL 854 in Pale Pink.

I'm mixing the Everlasting Lip Color in Lolita and the Lock-It concealer in Natural L5.

I mix them on my hand and I add a touch of black eyeshadow to desaturate the colour.

You are free to add white or black, or to just go for your favourite lipstick.

With the Tattoo Liner, my favourite pen eyeliner, I draw a thin line for a seamless effect with the falsies.

With the same eyeliner, I'm drawing a little star on the cheekbone to make the look even more unique.

So this is my look inspired to Kat Von D. A sexy, grunge smokey with contrast shades.

5 Steps to Smoother Transitions for Your Client or Child with Autism - Duration: 4:37.

Hi I'm Dr. Mary Barbara, autism mom,

behavior analysts and best-selling

author. You might be wondering why

children with autism have such a hard

time transitioning from highly preferred

activities to non preferred activities.

I'm here to tell you today that we all

have trouble with transitions. Just

imagine you are on a beach on a

beautiful sunny day, having a cold drink

and reading a great book. On a scale of 1

to 10 with 10 being the most reinforcing

activity you know, you would probably

rate being on the beach on this day to

be a 10. Without warning, I abruptly come

up to you and say, "All done beach, time to

load heavy boxes in a truck," you would

most likely not like this at all and you

might start displaying problem behaviors

in the form of arguing with me, stomping

your feet, and slamming your chair onto

the sand. You might even refuse to leave

your preferred activity and literally

dig your heels into the sand. What I want

to illustrate in that example is that we

all have problem behaviors transitioning

from very high preferred activities to

non preferred activities. The key is to

ease transitions by not asking a child

to transition from a 10, from a highly

preferred activity, to a one or two,

which is work constantly throughout the

day. I'm going to give you five tips and

techniques to help you ease transitions. #1 Dangle the carrot or offer

the reinforcements before problem

behaviors occur. When my son Lucas was

little he loved to be in the ocean up to

his neck for hours. I needed to offer him

something really powerful like pizza to

get him to come out of the ocean. Always

remember, if you're going to offer

reinforcement remember to offer that

reinforcement before you place a demand

to transition, not after you place the

demand and have a problem behavior

already occur. So in this case with Lucas

in the ocean I would say,

"Lucas time for pizza let's get out and

dry off." The second tip to these

transitions is don't physically move or

drag a student from one location to

another even if the child is small

enough to carry or move. I wouldn't even

think about physically dragging you off

the beach to help me load the heavy

boxes as this could lead to me getting

arrested for assault. It disturbs me that

some people try to physically move

students with autism from one activity

to the next. #3 - Whenever

possible, give choices. In the beach

example, for instance if

I would have come up to you and stated

that I needed help with some heavy boxes

and asked you when it would be a good

time for you to transition, you probably

would have been a lot more cooperative.

You may have suggested that we load the

boxes when you were finished your drink

or after you've finished a chapter in

the great book you were reading. We make

a lot of choices throughout the day,

especially when we are faced with

difficult or unpleasant tasks, we need to

give our students with autism as many

choices as possible to ease transitions. Tip #4 is to sandwich harder

activities in between preferred

activities and consider using schedules

and timers. The last tip tip, #5 is to make sure all workstations

are paired with reinforcement and avoid

the word work whenever you can. Some of

the best classrooms and home programs I

have ever seen have strong reinforcers

at every work area, and I often tell

professionals and parents to avoid using

the word work for students who already

are having difficulty with transitions,

and to spend a few minutes at the

beginning of each teaching session

pairing yourself and the materials with

reinforcements. If the students are not

running towards you the next activity or

at least moving there without problem

behavior, your demands are probably too

high and/or reinforcement too low. If you

Forerunner 935: Getting Started - Duration: 3:36.

Dedicated athletes like you are going to love Forerunner 935,

the premium GPS running and triathlon watch that's designed to go the distance.

In this video, we'll show you how to set up and start using your Forerunner 935.

First, let's take a look at the device.

On the top left, you'll see the light key, which you'll use to control the backlight

and also access the controls menu.

Hold the light key to access the controls menu, which you can use to lock your device,

set it to "do not disturb" mode and more.

Below that are the up and down keys.

These help you navigate through the different menus,

data screens and widgets.

On the top right is the start/stop key, which, in addition to starting,

pausing and stopping timed activities,

you'll use to make menu selections.

Finally, on the bottom right is the back key.

Pressing it will return you to the previous screen.

Or, during timed activities, press it to mark a lap.

When you turn on your device for the first time, you'll be prompted to enter your language preference.

Then, it will ask if you want to pair it with your smartphone.

If you select yes, you can pair it and complete device setup through the Garmin Connect mobile app.

If you select no, you can complete the setup on your device and pair with a phone later.

If you choose to continue setting up your watch without your smartphone

you'll now enter your preferred unit of measurement and time format.

Finally, you'll answer a few questions about yourself, such as birth year,

height and weight before setup is complete.

Starting on your watch's time of day screen, you can access all of the features built into Forerunner 935.

For example, press the up or down key to cycle through preloaded widgets,

including heart rate, performance, smart notifications and more.

Remember, you can customise your widget loop by accessing the settings menu.

More on that in a minute.

You can also hold the up key to access the menu right from the time of day screen.

Here you can customise your watch face, access alarms and other settings.

By scrolling down to settings, you can customise the activities

and apps list or widget loop and other preferences.

Press the start key to bring you to the run home screen.

Press the down key to see some of the other activities 935 supports,

or press and hold the up key to access the menu.

In the menu, you can update your preferences for the currently selected activity,

such as changing data screens or setting up an alert, or for your watch in general.

To start an outdoor run, just press start to enter the data screen loop.

After that, you'll see the data screens.

Your watch will vibrate to let you know when GPS is ready.

This normally takes just a few moments.

Press the start key again to begin your activity.

During the activity, you can scroll up or down through the data screens to view important stats like distance,

time, and pace, as well as your heart rate.

When you're finished with your activity, press stop.

From here you can either re-start the timer and continue running, or scroll down to save your activity.

After you save, you'll be shown the achievements you accomplished such as personal records

or a new VO2 max,

your aerobic and anaerobic training effect scores,

a suggested recovery time

and a summary of what you just accomplished.

Ok, so all you need is for your DIY cat activity gym is a hula hoop, some fabric of your choice

A selection of cat toys that can be hung up using either ribbon

Or thick wool, a good pair of sciccors

And a big chunk of foam

And to put it all together either a hot glue gun, a good fabric glue

Or if you are a clover plugs, unlike me, you can sew it

I'm not very good at sewing so I'm gonna go with hot glue gun

Once you've marked it out go ahead with your scissors and cut out where you have marked

So once you've marked out your foam, put it on to the fabric that you have and mark out where it is

Just so that you've got enough fabric to cover it up just to make it look a bit nicer

And then again, take these scissors - cut it out

Ok, so once you cut that out, I'm going to use hot glue gun, but if you are a lot more clever than me

You can

Sew it on

So just attach the fabric to your foam

Next take your two halves of a hula hoop

And if you want you can leave them plain,

But what I'm going to do is get some more of this fabric and wrap it around the hula hoops halves

So that they match

Ok so now we have our two halves of the hula hoops that are covered in the same fabric as the base

Ok, so now's the time to attach the hula hoops to the base

Now now get some of the off cuts of your fabric

Line it up with the corner of the foam and then cut out a little triangle, like this along here

Do that for each corner of your base

Ok, then you wanna take your little triangles and attach them on two sides to your base

Ok, so what we have here is four pockets

At the each corner of your base

And so take your two halves of hula hoop and just slot them in

Ok, so here we go! It is slotted in!

You can glue them down if you want - it will probably make it a little bit more secure

Ok, so they are now attached at each corner, but to make it more secure

Attach the two hula hoop halves together using ribbon or strong wool

Now to attach these take your ribbon or your wool and just tighten

On to the crossed hula hoops

Ok and here is our finished cat activity gym!
