President Donald Trump just keeps on winning, and he just won a major victory in one of

the world's most dangerous areas.

According to Australia's News.com, a top North Korean diplomat indicated during a television

interview in India that Pyongyang would be willing to talk with the Trump administration

about suspending their nuclear program and missile tests if their conditions are met.

While Kye Chun Yong, the regime's ambassador to India, didn't enumerate the exact conditions,

his comments strongly suggested that they involved the suspension of joint military

exercises off of the Korean Peninsula.

"Under certain circumstances, we are willing to talk in terms of the freezing of nuclear

testing and missile testing," Kye said during the interview with India's WION.

"For instance, if the American side completely stopped big, large-scale military exercises

temporarily or permanently, then we will also temporarily stop," he continued, seeming

to refer to carrier deployment.

"Let's talk about how to solve the Korean issue peacefully."

Kye's comments came after several tweets and statements made by the president in the

wake of the death of Otto Warmbier.

"The U.S. once again condemns the brutality of the North Korean regime as we mourn its

latest victim," the president said in one tweet.

Another tweet, however, definitely should have caught the eye of North Korean leadership:

"While I greatly appreciate the efforts of (Chinese) President Xi (Jinping) & China

to help with North Korea, it has not worked out," the president wrote.

"At least I know China tried!"

It sounded harmless enough until you consider the ominous subtext from Trump's earlier

remarks.

According to Reuters, before his first summit with the Chinese president back in April,

the president warned that if the Chinese couldn't handle the problem, the United States would

— on its own.

"China has great influence over North Korea.

And China will either decide to help us with North Korea, or they won't.

And if they do that will be very good for China, and if they don't it won't be good

for anyone," Trump said.

When pressed, he added, "Well, if China is not going to solve North Korea, we will.

That is all I am telling you."

The tweet seemed to signal that Trump was no longer looking toward China, implying that

the United States may go it alone.

From what Mr. Kye said on Indian TV, the North Koreans didn't like the sound of that.

It's good to see that the North Korean regime is seeming to bend to President Trump's

will.

We'll still see what happens — South Korea's Yonhap reported in the wake of the interview

that South Korea has no plans to scrap the joint exercises — but it looks like this

could be another win for the Trump administration.

Red, White and Blue Ice Cream with Homemade Waffle Cones (COLLAB WITH ANNA OLSON OF OH YUM!) - Duration: 6:02.

- Hey guys!

Today, I'm excited to be doing a collaboration

with one of my new favorite food channels here on YouTube,

Oh Yum staring Anna Olson.

Now, for many of you who live in Canada,

you're probably very familiar with Anna,

as she is the star of multiple Food Network series,

and she's excite to now be bringing

all of her amazing baking talents here to YouTube.

What I love about Anna is her recipes are easy enough

for beginners as well as the seasoned baker.

My kinda cook.

Anna and I have come together to share our dessert recipes

for Fourth of July and Canada Day,

two summer holidays that are just a few days apart.

So, I am going to be sharing how to make

a red, white, and blue cheater ice cream.

I'll show you what that means in a minute.

And then Anna is going to show us

how to make the Canadian butter tart.

This is a dessert that I have heard about for years

from my Canadian friends, and I'm really excited

to know more about it and learn how to make it.

and you will be set for either Canada Day or Fourth of July,

whichever one you might be celebrating.

Okay, let's get to the waffle cones.

To begin, we're gonna prep the ice cream.

Now, I call this cheater ice cream

because it's actually a bit of a semi-homemade idea.

We're gonna be using store-bought vanilla ice cream.

We're gonna allow it to soften up,

and then swirl in some homemade fruit purees, refreeze it,

and then we're gonna have this really beautiful

red, white, and blue ice cream.

This is gonna save us a lot of time and effort up front

so that we can spend a little bit more time

the day of the party making some homemade waffle cones,

which are easier to make than you may think.

Okay, so to prep the ice cream,

you wanna do this a day before,

because it does need to set up overnight.

You're gonna take out your ice cream, just to allow it

to come up to room temperature a bit and soften,

because it'll be a lot easier to work with that way,

and meanwhile, we're going to puree up our berries.

So I like to start with a cup of blackberries.

You're gonna add that to a blender

and then add in a tablespoon of sugar

and one tablespoon of water.

You can puree that up, and you'll see,

you'll have a beautiful puree on your hands.

You can just transfer that into a small bowl

and set it aside, and then you wanna rinse out the blender,

just so that we can keep those colors pure,

and we're gonna do the same thing with strawberries.

You're gonna add a cup of strawberries,

a tablespoon of sugar, and a tablespoon of water,

and you can puree that up.

Then we're gonna transfer that

to a small bowl and set these things aside.

Then, if you don't have an ice cream maker,

you may not have all of the accoutrements

that come with ice cream making,

so you don't need a fancy ice cream tub

to store this ice cream.

I think what works really well is a loaf pan,

just a nine by five pan.

And what you're gonna do is scoop out your ice cream

and just create like a nice, single layer

on the bottom of it.

And then taking a spatula, you're just gonna smooth it out

so that you have a nice, flat surface.

Then you are gonna dollop in your blackberry puree,

and then you're gonna do the same thing

with the strawberry puree.

And then taking a skewer, you're just gonna run it

gently through the ice cream and the purees

so that you have a nice swirled effect.

I wouldn't take it too far, because you don't wanna

combine the vanilla because it's pretty liquidy

at this stage with the puree, or you'll end up

with like a blue and red ice cream.

We just wanna preserve those beautiful swirls.

Then you're gonna repeat that process with another layer,

adding in the blackberry and the strawberry puree.

Give it another swirl, and that's all you have to do.

Then we are going to cover this with some tin foil

and pop in the freezer overnight.

Now, you could just stop right there and serve

this ice cream with some store-bought ice cream cones

or serve it into little dishes,

and it would still be fun and festive,

but if you wanted to kick it up a notch,

you could make some homemade waffle cones,

which, I was surprised to find,

they're so much easier to make than you might think.

They take a little bit of practice,

but it really doesn't take long

to become pretty proficient at it.

So this is what you're gonna do first.

You wanna take your iron and plug it in

and get it nice and hot.

There are a lot of different models

on the market that you can find.

I'll put a link in the description

to the one that I'm using.

Then, in a medium-size bowl, you're going to add one egg,

two egg whites, a quarter teaspoon of salt,

a half a cup of sugar, two-thirds cup of flour,

half a teaspoon of ground cinnamon,

and then two to three tablespoons of melted butter.

So start with the two tablespoons.

If it's really too thick, you could add one more tablespoon.

I will say that this is

supposed to be a pretty thick batter.

It's deceivingly thick.

So don't be concerned

if you think it's too thick after three tablespoons.

That actually is the texture you're going for.

Then taking a small ladle, you're going to dollop

the batter in the center of the waffle iron,

and then you're just gonna push the waffle iron down.

And if you're using the same model,

one of the things that I've learned,

you actually have to let it click into place.

That will flatten it out really well

and create a really nice seal.

And then just let it cook,

and the light will tell you when it's ready.

And then at this point, it will be hot,

but you can take a little spatula and transfer it

onto a clean dish towel,

and then using the cone that comes with the waffle iron,

you're gonna line the edge of the cone

up to the edge of the waffle,

and then roll at the same time.

As your cone is sort of setting up,

you can leave it right there.

Just go to the bottom, to the tip,

and give it a good pinch,

because at this stage, the cone is still pliable,

and it will let you pinch

and then it will kind of set up that way,

and this will prevent having all of your ice cream

leak out the bottom once you start to serve your cones.

Then I went ahead and bought these little cone holders

which work really well when you're making the cones.

It's also a nice thing to serve the cones in as well.

But you don't need this little contraption.

You could just actually set these

on a cooling rack to set up if you didn't have that.

You'll see when you scoop into that ice cream.

You'll start to see all of that beautiful red and blue

coming from the blackberries and the strawberries.

It's such a fun and festive thing to do,

especially for an occasion like the Fourth of July,

and it just sets up so nicely in these little waffle cones.

very long drive so the thing is I thought this morning I thought you know

this has been weighing on me I was speaking with somebody yesterday in the

car business and I wanted to talk just for my drive this morning my five

minutes on marriage and relationships and the reason being especially in the

auto business it seems like we have such a high likelihood when it comes to

relationships and marriage and so forth that it's like especially in the carbon

that you're putting in 40 50 60 hours a week and it's like for goodness sake man

when do you have time to do any of the fun marriage or family stuff and you

have to make time the reality is you have got to make time for it I remember

years ago I had gone to a seminar and I don't remember who it was the set

especially all of us type-a personalities all the salespeople the

managers the leaders that type a people that are going on stop we go and go and

go you can't give a hundred percent of words and then go home and sit on your

ass and think well golly you know you show up and and say I got off work and

show up with my wife there and go home man I've had just a really rough day I

really need a break well that whole time she's been a home with our three kids

and the dog and and doing everything you know and

running errands and doing all the things that yes is that's a lot of hard work

also so you can't give as an individual you can't give a hundred percent in your

work or and what it is that you you're doing and then expect to show up and

understand or I shouldn't say you don't understand when you don't want to admit

that a marriage or relationship you know that you're engaged in is working the

thing if somebody could ask you and say well hey what you know what's going on

you know why are you having a tough time you can always tell when people are

having tough times in their relationship you say well what's what's going on

what's the reason why why it why the struggle friend right and when they look

at you and tell you well gosh I don't know I copy it people know what's going

on in their marriage and in their

relationship the problem is if they admit it to you that means they have to

admit it to themselves that they're part of the problem they're part of the issue

right and so that is that can be a tough gig to say well yeah I know what the

problem is I even may know how to fix it in my

relationship but to have to actually admit it then it really means that you

have to work on it and so what I was saying they say well what gives your

five minutes was in and so it's been seven or what not to them probably slow

fight Illinois to work what gives you the authority Walsall eleven years of

marriage and that the quote unquote I don't agree with the you know up to that

we've all had girlfriends or boyfriends or whatever it is leading up to the

current relationship if you're watching this you're probably in one the current

relationships that you're in now and people say people call those failed

relationships I call bullshit on that too not a failed relationship if you

learn from it's not a failed anything if you learn from it was probably a

learning relationship so you learn what to do you learn what what you like what

you did like what to how to respond to a partner you know there's all kinds of

things you can learn from those experiences and at the end of the day a

lot of times in those relationships that you have prior to your current one or

prior to your marriage it's not that it's a failed relationship it's just

that people refuse to learn you know they go oh well I'm going to and then

they wonder what why do I continue have these shitty relationships well it's

because you're doing the same thing that you did and if you're not making an

effort you're not making a change you're not participating then again you're

going to get the same outcome which is a crummy breakup okay for an end to it so

just keep that in mind that's my five minutes for today the thing to keep in

mind is relationships take real work

you can't give a hundred percent somewhere else and then show up and

think oh well you know it's cool I can sit on my ass on the couch and not

participate at home it doesn't work that way

as much as you may want to think that it is because you go oh well my partner can

you know my partner my spouse my husband or wife that they can they can handle

all the home stuff because I've had a really stressful day that's crap man get

up off your tail and participate so that's my five minutes for everybody who

Welcome to my YouTube Channel introduction

my name is Carolyn (C-A-R-O-L-Y-N)

and I am making this channel because I want to make videos for the deaf community (and hearing community)

to educate people more on American Sign Language and (the deaf culture- etc) everything that has to do with disabilities

or what it means to be a deaf person (from a deaf person's point of view) I am deaf, I have been deaf since birth

and I wear hearing aids- uh, my hair is a mess- and it's all good I can speak and stuff (translation for "don't feel sorry for me")

but I have never learned ASL until a year ago when I started practicing on my own

I enrolled in an online class and I loved it so I'm continuing it in person at my college

my major is related to education so hopefully I can get into my major of "ASL Education" in the future

and if anyone has any questions about the deaf community or what it means to be deaf

or any questions that you were scared to ask in person you can ask on this channel

don't be afraid to ask if you have questions, it's better if you do ask than if you don't

Most of my videos will be geared towards basic American Sign Language

So like- ABC's, 123 (numbers), basic phrases, how to use the five parameters of conversation

which is like, your facial expressions, eyebrows, anything like that

also- just like basic things that deaf/hard of hearing people go through on a daily basis

what it means to go to school, live daily life

basic things that maybe you don't understand or that you maybe never knew and these are things that you can learn on this channel

I'll post things that I recommend (articles, etc) but anyway- i'm going off on a rant

yea so- I wanted to keep this sweet and short. So this is my channel. I hope you like it, please subscribe

hopefully in the future when I learn how to be tech-savvy or learn how to use technology I will be able to put in the captioning

Healthy things grow Jerry wanted to just dive in and tell us what that means

Yeah, so you know church Growth?

Has almost become a negative word for some people because it?

It portends to make us think of comparison, and that's what we do

we compare ourselves, and that's not [the] right approach of the right attitude what we want is church helped A

By product of church Health is growth because healthy things grow everything

God created if it's healthy is growing in some way, and so really the first law of

Generating great church Growth is that your you have a healthy culture

You know your church needs a healthy culture where people are growing and people have a good spirit and a good attitude. There's a positive

Kind of leaning forward anticipation of what God is going to do you also have to have a healthy staff

It's very important that your team whether they are volunteer or paid staff Richard talked about our church's journey

You know I went from one my church had one employee

and I wasn't quite full time in terms of my paycheck to now you know we have about 50 employees, so

And we've still got way more

Volunteers, and we'll ever have employees and so that team has to be healthy

so if you're overworking some of your team members if you're running someone into the ground

I know the tendency is when you've got someone who's faithful

And someone you can depend on the tendency is to lean on them, but let me tell you in the long run

You're going to want people who are there for you and one of the things that we've learned here at

24 the Devil and at Daystar Church, is that when people leave the dream team or they stop volunteering?

They don't go back to the pew they go out the door because they're embarrassed

You know they felt like they were part of a brotherhood the other team members

Are there counting on each other and if they got this?

Overworked Overrun feeling their uninspired and they've forgotten the why of what's going on all they're doing is the what?

Be here at this time do this thing you know meet this deadline, and you're not inspiring them with the why

You know they're going to they're going to eventually

Quit that area of ministry, but what's going to happen is they're going to leave the church because they're embarrassed about it

so [you] want to help the

core of

People serving you also need a healthy system if your system is hey

We're going to bring in a big band or a big group or have some big event every other month

And that's the entire way your church is going well. That's not healthy because if all you do is put on a big show

What's to prevent the church down the Street?

To put on a big show or the mall across town to have a big show on Sunday

So we're going to talk a little bit more about your system a little bit later

But let me just in law number one remind you that you have to have a healthy system

Another thing about having a church health it's setting high standards for your team

I can remember when our worship our then worship pastor. He's now one of our campus pastors Ben murray

determined to set a really high bar for our worship ministry and

Honestly it it intimidated me a little bit because when we started this church

I was the I was a senior pastor and the worship pastor, and I just wanted someone with a pulse

I mean our first our first drummer in our church

He played in a nightclub on Saturday night and up he's in our church on Sunday morning, please don't turn me off faster

I love the [lord] don't turn me off. I should have said that in point number one

But we have really high standards now

We've learned we've grown and so our standards are completely different than they used to be and you know what we found out

I'll just give you an example of how that's worked in our music ministry

We actually had to go through a period of time when we had three

campuses because we have satellite campuses where we live feed the video we had three campuses and

[zero]

Full-time worship pastors and yet, you couldn't tell the difference on the weekend

And it was all because we had set such a high standard and we we maintain church health, so if you're going through a problem

You know like like a divorce or a big-time sickness we ask you to sit down off of the ministry team

Because we want the port into you we want you to receive it takes a lot of faith do that

Because you need someone to sing well this weekend, but you've got to think long term and not be so focused on the moment

Right now. We're in what we call the best staff ever campaign and we're trusting and believing

God that we're going to build the best staff any church has ever had in fact. I heard that from Lord

he said to me Jerry if you'll build the staff and

Not go try to hire them from somewhere stay a little from another church if you'll be committed to building them

I'll make sure [they're] the best staff ever and so you know I'm building them

I'll quickly tell you if I can think mom. I had the eight areas that we build people in all our staff

I work or someone on the team works with them in eight areas, and they are Faith family

finances

Freedom freedom has to do with friggin from a bondage or addiction or temptation Faith family finances freedom fun fitness?

Friends, I think I said family and then focus so it's a whole you're focused area of ministry

So it's a holistic approach not just saying I want you to do this for me. We're saying I'm more concerned with you

How you grow what God is doing in your life, then what you're going to do for us one more thing

I don't have to hurry Richard now

but one more thing in and being healthy you need to plan intimate times with God for yourself as the

[senior] leader here's the thing about an intimate relationship

If you're intimate with your spouse, that's the most intimate relationship you have but you're not intimate

Daily all right you're probably not intimate daily unless you just got married all right your clothes every day

but there are

intimate days intimate moments

I think you should do the same thing with God don't feel guilty if you woke up on Saturday and only spend five minutes

Doing a quick devotion. That's okay

Just stay close to God today

but plan an intimate moment

Plan an hour long prayer walk plan a morning that you don't go to the office

And you just listen to worship music and you pray?

you need to be

Spiritually healthy pastor, and I was talking to a pastor

Just yesterday who's struggling with this, but he said he didn't have enough time

I want to challenge you because we've all felt that way you do have enough time

You're spending it on something else, so put it on your calendar, and when someone asks for that time say I'm sorry

I just checked my calendar

I already have an appointment and make [sure] there are intimate times with God, so you have a break from work

And you stay healthy can't grow if you're not healthy

Boom let's pray and get out of here. Yeah

Some of [you] are probably thinking. That's what I needed to hear today

I think Jerry and the sower the parallel that summer comes to my mind that when the seed fell on fertile soil soil

Hi, how are you? My name is Alan, I am a journalist and this is Ingresse na Arte (get your ticket and get in the art) channel.

In this video, I am going to speak about two cultural São Paulo events that lasts until next Sunday.

One of them is "Henri-Cartier Bresson – Primeiras Fotografias" photo exhibit that presents 58 Henri Cartier-Bresson photographs that he took during his first four years of career as a photographer, in Fiesp Cultural Center.

This French guy is one of the most famous and important photographers of all time.

It is possible to check his photo work characteristics, as taking photos of general people on streets, in the art exhibit.

Bresson used to love walking on streets and taking photos of unique moments of people like me or you.

For that, he had a kind of way of taking those photos. He used to say…

"You don't have to take several photos. Between time you push a bottom and fires the camera shutter,

one more time, maybe, photo image had been between those both acts, it is a fraction of a second, it's an instinct."

In that photo exhibit, there are Bresson photos taken in Italy, Spain, Belgium and Mexico. In this last country, he has taken photos of women that looked like work in a whorehouse. Those are beautiful photos.

And, speaking about Henri Cartier-Bresson, he is one of the founders of Magnum Photography Agency, that it was founded 70 years ago.

Because of that, "Folha de S.Paulo" newspaper has published a really nice article about it and trying to understand what will be Magnum Agency future.

Nowadays, smarts phones are threats to Magnum Agency. Besides that, agency have some financial problems and editorial market is no so powerful as it used to be when Magnum agency was created.

Article has analysed all this context, interviewed a 88-year-old-magnum-agency-photographer and published this amazing photo taken by Thomas Hoepker in New York, in 11th September.

In this image, it is possible to see some guys having fun in Brooklyn neighborhood at same time World Trade Center was being attacked by terrorists attacks.

The other event that lasts until Sunday in São Paulo is In-Edit Movie Festival, a musical documentary festival.

There are movie sessions of documentaries about punk music, Brazilian music… to all kind of music fans.

I watched in the festival the documentary "Whitney… Can I Be Me" that tells Whitney Houston story,

from the beginning of her career in New Jersey churches until her death, in 2012, when she was found drowned in a bathtub after consuming some drugs.

Movie is really nice and it shows how was her relationship with her mother, Cissy Houston, a gospel singer, Robyn, her personal assistant, and Bobby Brown, her ex-husband.

Kevin Macdonald Oscar winner is producing another documentary about Whitney Houston. It should debut in this semester.

There are two more movie sessions of "Whitney… Can I Be Me" in In-Edit Festival this weekend. Watch it because it is a really nice documentary and because Whitney rocks and has an amazing voice

AND IN GERMANY

THERE'S EVEN MORE REASON TO CARE.

Ford: Happily they have not struck yet

in the United States,

but there's always a risk.

And so how to get rid of these extremist

elements in Syria is a concern to all Americans.

We don't want what happened in Paris

to happen in an American city.

WITH AMERICA LARGELY STAYING OUT OF THINGS IN SYRIA

RUSSIA HAS STEPPED IN.

THEY'VE SENT THOUSANDS OF TROOPS.

THEY'VE LAUNCHED AIRSTRIKES.

THE REACTION FROM THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION

WAS OUTRAGE.

BUT THE TRUMP WHITE HOUSE MAY SEE A REASON

TO TEAM UP WITH THE RUSSIANS.

Can they be a strong alley for us in this battle against ISIS?

I think they could be if they wanted to be

but I'm not sure they want to be.

The primary purpose of the Russian intervention

had nothing to do with fighting the Islamic State.

So now going forward

does Vladimir Putin want to turn 90 o 100 degrees

and instead want to focus on the Islamic State

That's up to Vladimir Putin.
