Dandelion also known as bitter chicory is a very popular medicinal plant

President Moon's policy planning advisory committee and gov't settle - Duration: 2:00.

President Moon Jae-in's transition team is pushing ahead on a key campaign pledge: slashing

smartphone bills.

Unsurprisingly,... the administration's plans are being meet with some push back from the

country's telecom giants.

Shin Se-min reports.

The President's policy advisory committee says it will encourage local telecom service

providers to give bigger discounts for mobile phone bills.

It was a campaign promise made by the President himself,… when he said he would scrap the

initial subscription fee of a little under 10 U.S. dollars

That would mean an extra 5-percent off the basic plan, which could begin as early as

September.

"Citizens will have their monthly telecom discounts raised from the current 20 percent...

to 25 percent."

And an additional cut of nine U.S. dollars from the fees of the elderly citizens and

low-income mobile carriers during the latter half of the year.

In total, it's expected the plan could save people about 4-point-6 trillion won,… or

over 4-billion U.S. dollars in mobile fees a year.

Telecom costs have long been felt to be a major burden,… with civic groups and lawmakers

calling on the telecom providers to lower them.

But this latest measure from the policy advisory committee is expected to face a strong backlash

from the big mobile carriers SK Telecom, KT Corp., and LG U-Plus,… which claim their

profitability would be seriously hurt... along with their future investment.

Following the announcement of the measures, they've already sought legal advice from one

of the country's largest law firms, Kim&Jang.

The advisory committee also hinted at further discussions about abolishing the basic telecommunication

fees in the coming weeks.

easter an egg and the symbol of Christmas a bottle

and give to those who wanted Until I had killed the incentive of the ambitious

And what'll you bet I couldn't get whole states to promote gambling

As the way to get rich I would caution against extremes

in hard work in patriotism

in moral conduct I would convince the young that marriage is

And today the Lord says:

First of all, I will take away the burden of guilt with my Mercy.

President Moon makes first disclosure of THAAD deployment - Duration: 4:01.

Our top story this morning...

President Moon Jae-in is on a media blitz one week ahead of his highly-anticipated summit

with President Trump at the White House.

This time... in an interview with Reuters,... he reveals -- for the first time -- the timeline

of the THAAD deployment schedule.

The president also highly evaluates North Korea's missile capabilities,... and points

to the fact that Seoul and Washington are in the same boat when it comes to Pyongyang's

provocations.

Moon Conn-young starts us off.

"North Korea is not yet capable, but judging from the speed of North Korea's advancements

in nuclear and missile technologies, I believe they will acquire such capability in the near

future."

By such capability, he means the North's ability to build a nuclear-tipped intercontinental

ballistic missile capable of hitting mainland U.S.

Ahead of his first overseas trip next week - to Washington D.C. for a bilateral summit

with U.S. President Donald Trump - South Korean President Moon Jae-in made another occasion

to convey his thoughts to the rest of the world.

Speaking to reporters Thursday, the South Korean leader said sanctions are all awaits

should Pyongyang go ahead with another ICBM launch or a sixth nuclear test.

"I believe that it must be strong enough to prevent North Korea from making any additional

provocations and also to make North Korea realize that they are going down the wrong

path."

At this point, he believes... there is no other way but for China to roll up the sleeves

and take more action.

"China provides the most economic assistance to North Korea.

When it comes to reining in on North Korea's behavior, there is much room for China to

play a role."

)

The president also raised the possibility of a one-on-one with Chinese President Xi

Jinping on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany next month.

"If I meet with President Xi, I will ask so that, I will ask for him to lift all of these

measures."

By those measures, he means, those Beijing has taken against South Korean companies in

retaliation against Seoul's decision to host THAAD, the U.S. missile defense system.

And, for the first time, he disclosed the details of the deployment schedule of THAAD

as initially agreed by the two countries in 2016.

"Based on what I've been briefed after taking office, the original agreement between South

Korea and the U.S. was to deploy one missile by the end of this year and the remaining

five next year."

President Moon said he has "high expectations" for the upcoming summit with U.S. President

Trump and the G20 Summit in Germany the week after... saying he would like to sit down

with as many world leaders as possible there... as North Korea's nuclear program will take

center stage in both events.

The next few weeks will set the stage for the South Korean president to make his international

debut and serve as a litmus test on how the newly elected leader who still enjoys a mid-to-high

70 percent approval rating by the South Korean public will ride the tumultuous waters of

diplomacy and international relations for the next five years.

Europe bus trip from Germany to Hungary travel vlog (Nuremberg to Prague to Budapest) - Duration: 7:09.

Well good morning.

It is about 5:30 AM here in Nuremberg.

The sun is already out.

I don't even know how that is possible even for summer it seems a bit early.

Struggling here.

But anyways today is a travel day.

We are going from Nuremberg to Budapest and we booked tickets on Flixbus because it was

a lot cheaper than the train.

So we're going to be traveling.

We're going to be traveling from Nuremberg to Prague to Budapest.

It is a long day.

When we were getting on?

Okay, so we got on and it is a double-decker bus and there is no assigned seats so you

Nothing on the chairs so I go to sit down and this old man pushes me out the way and

he's like 'De Bin Ich.'

And I bumped my head because I mean the bus is kind of low on top and I was like what?

It was like Street Fighter on the bus.

He was throwing elbows.

That was really bizarre behaviour.

But aside from that the three hour bus trip was pretty amazing.

Like it was comfortable.

I would say the bus was only like a quarter full.

Maybe 20 to 30 percent capacity.

So we each got our own section of seats.

Yeah.

We did some work.

It was a three hour and twenty minute journey.

Yeah.

And we slept for half of it.

And it was beautiful.

There was a lot of uh like we were going through scenic farms, through forests.

Castles.

Yeah, once we got into past the Czech Republic we started seeing castles and then we got

a beautiful view of Prague as well coming in.

Anyways, enough chitchat.

Let's try that sandwich.

Time to dig in.

How is that sandwich?

It is good.

I was just looking at the screen because they announce the departures.

So I don't even need to run off.

I can see when my bus is leaving.

There you go.

We can actually enjoy our meal.

Okay, and what did you get for yours?

So we pretty much made short work of that sandwich.

So I got a panini and it has ham and cheese.

So oh la lah.

They heated it up.

Mmmm.

This is actually a pretty decent stop for like you know a bus station.

Yeah, good food.

Pretty good food and it is nice to be able to just relax a bit before we catch our next

bus.

Do do doo do la doo.

Time for cake.

The cakes looked amazing but the carrot cake stood out the most so let's try that.

They have all kinds of cakes.

Lots of cheesecakes to choose from.

Oh, they had a what was it uh it wasn't a green tea it was some kind of it was chai.

Chai cheese cake.

Chai cheesecake.

I've never seen that.

Never tried that.

But Sam always goes for the carrot cake.

It is the classic.

That is wonderful.

The best part, I mean the best part for me was obviously the cream cheese but I just

love walnuts and just uh there is a lot of carrots in here too.

This is just a nice cake.

Well time for a much needed update.

We didn't film getting off the bus or oh I did film a bit of the taxi ride.

That is true I did.

Uh huh.

Well as you can tell it is night time outside so this was a very very long day of bus rides.

It is almost nine thirty PM so that was 12 hours or 13 hours of travel.

We're just waiting for our AirBNB host to come.

Fingers crossed.

Hopefully fingers crossed he shows up.

We've been here 15 minutes.

Yeah and a nice resident of the apartment let us come in.

He let us come in through the gate but chilling in the lobby.

We need that last key to get into our actual room.

The following morning.

Pfff.

Confession time.

We were so tired we didn't finish the vlog properly last night so anyways we are nice

and settled here in Budapest.

We're going to be doing actually we're going to be here for a couple of weeks.

Yeah.

And catching up on work, also hopefully filming a city guide, doing a lot of food reviews

and maybe some day trips.

But in the meantime we've got a pretty cool apartment and that will be our next video.

Mysskin | Building a World - Duration: 6:19.

Hi, my name is Kishor and this is MOVING IMAGES.

Cinema is more than a story-telling medium.

Every film is a reflection of the way the film-maker

understands and sees the world around him.

It is an exploration of what the film-maker feels as

life's most imperative questions and what he deems as a moral act.

Cinema could also be an impression of real-life.

An impression that makes reality and all its nuances make sense to the audience.

But the best way to wield cinema is to use stories

with personal drama and present them as a reflection of the reality.

A fusion between the personal with the universal, and this is the perfect definition of Mysskin's

cinema.

The best thing that can be said about Mysskin's works

is that they leave a haunting impression with the audience.

His films are a skewed, larger-than-life representation of our world, while simultaneously displaying

the rawness of the human condition.

Though his films are rife with motifs and tropes

he is all too famous for, he uses the motifs to do something not

many film-makers would dare to do, build a world.

The motifs in Mysskin's cinema are a signature of his

and are so unique that it essentially builds a world

in only which his stories could happen.

<I'll keep repeating motifs such as my character's body language>

This world of his spawn stories of chilling proportion

but still maintains an intimacy with the audience.

In this episode, we are going to explore Mysskin's world

through what I consider his best work, Onnayum Aatukuttyum.

What Mysskin tried to do in his previous films, and perfected in Onnayum, is build a surreal

world.

This kind of world-building is seen in most fantasy stories

where the rules, characters, and lore are explained

as the story moves forward, and from this perspective,

Onnayum Aatukuttyum is indeed a fantasy fable.

A dark, cynical fable that unfolds as a narration to a child

and deals with Mysskins signature motif of morals and redemption.

The fable is filled with characters that are exaggerated representations.

We saw this in Anjathey with a kuruvi flapping its wings like a sparrow,

and in Onnayum we see a wolf with a tail.

The other characters get their traits from the

respective animals they represent.

Though this metaphor is a spelt out to the audience rather

than being a subtle reference, it makes for an interesting and engaging narrative.

Mysskin's cinema maintains the intimacy in this stylized narrative

by demanding an investment from the audience through techniques that emphasize suspense.

Mysskin regulates the information given to the

audience through his framing, guiding the audiences' eyes

to where he wants us to see.

Onnayum starts with a man running away from something,

falling down and getting up to limp again, we then cut closer to see that he left behind

a gun and a pool of blood.

Mysskin immediately has us immersed in his world from the first scene.

The story happens in a cynical and bleak world that has its own twisted dark humor.

The atmosphere of Mysskin's work stands from the suspense and its dark themes.

One way Mysskin maintains this is by introducing a constant sense of dread.

The wolves hunt and the innocent goats are never safe.

This constant sense of dread is also seen in the cinematography

where the scene builds on the anticipation.

The audience is rarely given a closure and are only given pieces

of information as the scene progresses.

Mysskin's scenes have a methodical camerawork with wide shots.

The camera rarely moves, but when it does, it does so with a purpose

that feels like the camera knows what is about to happen and

is withholding that information from us.

This kind of ominous camerawork keeps the audience seated even through long scenes.

The wide shot and the length of the scene manages to leave a lasting impression

in our minds while the suspense keeps us questioning the motives of the characters.

Mysskin also controls the information by cutting away from a scene

just before the action begins.

The lack of knowledge forces the audience to fill the gaps with their imagination,

which can be even more terrifying than reality.

His unique framing, shot composition, and the way he blocks the characters are

excellent tool he utilizes to tell a suspenseful story.

Mysskin's cinema is a journey into his mind, an exploration of a surreal world that questions

our perspectives, keeps us in suspense, and even questions our

vision of what is black and white, but the story has an ending rooted in a strong

sense of morality.

This ending may not reflect reality but it is what the audience needs to believe in.

Maybe this is the most unrealistic and far-fetched trait of his world,

but a trait that helps us explore ourselves too and keep us coming back for more.

Well good morning.

It is about 5:30 AM here in Nuremberg.

The sun is already out.

I don't even know how that is possible even for summer it seems a bit early.

Struggling here.

But anyways today is a travel day.

We are going from Nuremberg to Budapest and we booked tickets on Flixbus because it was

a lot cheaper than the train.

So we're going to be traveling.

This is really early for Audrey especially.

Haha.

We're going to be traveling from Nuremberg to Prague to Budapest.

It is a long day.

It is going to be a long day.

Yeah, so we're leaving here we're going to try and leave by six thirty-ish.

Six forty-five ish.

And we should be arriving in Budapest around seven forty-five to eight PM.

So long day but we're bringing you along for the journey.

We'll show you what it is like to travel by bus in Europe and yeah going to finish my

breakfast.

We have made it to Prague so we are in the Czech Republic having lunch.

We've got about 50 minutes to spare before we get on the next bus.

When we were getting on?

Okay, so we got on and it is a double-decker bus and there is no assigned seats so you

can sit anywhere.

So I found a nice seat and it was empty.

Nothing on the chairs so I go to sit down and this old man pushes me out the way and

he's like 'De Bin Ich.'

Like I am there.

And I bumped my head because I mean the bus is kind of low on top and I was like what?

Before.

What?

Before he pushed you he pushed me.

It was like Street Fighter on the bus.

He was throwing elbows.

Getting in there.

And it was empty.
