Youtube daily report w Jul 11 2017

Last month I did a video entitled Why Turkey Will Never Be Saudi Arabia.

One of the most interesting comments I got was, OK, but how about Iran?

On the surface this makes a bit more sense that the Saudi comparison.

Turkey and Iran are both countries with long histories, unlike Saudi Arabia, and they both

have over a thousand years of Islamic tradition swimming under the surface.

Isn't it possible that Turkey could evolve in a similar way?

No, No it is not.

There are many great reasons for this.

Iran's peculiar system is only really possible within the Shia tradition for one thing, and

there's also a literacy argument that I may make in another video.

But today I'll focus on the way that the two country's differing histories make an

Iran style Islamic Revolution in Turkey pretty much unimaginable.

To do that let's look at two figures.

First the founder of Modern Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, and second, the Shah of Iran,Mohammed

Reza Pahlavi, who reigned for almost 40 years, and was deposed in Iran's Islamic Revolution

in 1979.

Both of these men tried to westernize their countries and make them more secular.

But that's where the comparison ends.

There is infinitely more to any leader than than whether or not he likes Western culture.

It's not all about us.

That should be obvious.

Ataturk liberated his country.

The Shah made his country a Puppet of the United States.

For over 200 years, the Muslim Caliphs that ruled the Ottoman empire lost more and more

of their land to the European Powers.

In 1918, after losing World War One, the last Sultan was a puppet of the victorious Allies,

sitting in French and British occupied Istanbul.

The Allies were encouraging a Greek Army that was rampaging through Anatolia, the Turkish

heartland.

This is where Ataturk comes in.

He set up a new capital in the ancient city of Ankara.

He kicked the Greeks out of his country and forced the Western powers to negotiate on

his terms.

He dethroned the last Sultan, and he set his country free.

To be sure, Turkey has been pushed around by the US over the past 70 years.

But it has been pushed around the same way that France or the United Kingdom has been

pushed around.

It has been a US ally, not a US possession.

There were a succession of military coups, but democracy came back stronger each time.

The failed coup of July 2016 showed that the generals have finally been beaten for good.

Erdogan may want to distance himself from Turkey's founder, but it's Ataturk's

legacy that made Turkey independent.

Religion has already re-asserted itself in Turkey, and the secular republic has survived.

Turkey's religious backlash has already reached its high water mark, as I explained

in an earlier video.

ATATURK BUILT A SYSTEM THAT COULD EVOLVE Ataturk gave Turkey the independence necessary to

chart its own course democratically.

Iran's shah could not have been more different from Ataturk.

His rule was established by foreign powers, not once but twice.

The Russians and the British booted his father out of power and installed him in 1941.

When Iran's parliament acted against Western interests, the US organized a coup to give

him more power in 1953.

The Shah's secular regime mercilessly crushed all dissent from 1953 to 1979.

Tens of Thousands were killed.

The Shah ruled absolutely and built up incredible pressure and anger within Iranian society.

The inevitable explosion finally happened in 1979.

The revolution eventually became religious, but it was just as much about freeing the

country from US control and getting rid of a repressive ruler as it was about religion.

Iranian democracy today may be flawed, and controlled by religious fanatics, but it's

much, much stronger than it was under the Shah.

Turkey has been able to chart its own course since the founding of the Republic in 1923.

Iran has only had that power since 1979.

Iran's profoundly odd system only came about because of decades of anger at Western control,

and because of the pressures that Western powers placed on Iran after its revolution.

Turkey is currently going through a difficult time, and it's democracy is very, very far

from perfect.

But Turkish democracy exists.

The pressures necessary to start an Iranian-style theocracy simply don't exist.

And that's why Turkey will never be Iran.

[MMD - MME] Dive to Blue - Duration: 4:28.

A deep marine blue sigh fused into puberty

The pattern of the heart encounters sad loves and lamentations occur

If the calendar gives signs of the end of the season

Then without needing more, tomorrow can scare you a little and make you want to stop

If we met, I would have things to tell you

Like the brightness of the blue sea and how kind you are

If that seed falls by the blowing wind

It would be put in the middle of the darkness in your heart, and I would go to meet you

So let me, let me dive in through the deep sea of utopia

To melt us by a wave of rapid emotions

Come on, break it, break itdown, destroy that dystopia

I'm going to take your hand, so we can submerge ourselves in this ocean without end

If the nostalgia extends to the bottom of your heart

The tears that you shed would become lights and finally fall

I would like to teach you, a scenario where it extends

A huge sky, shining along with your beauty

The distant past and even the invisible future,

Give place to a vague present that you have to embrace, so I will come for you

Come on, let me, let me shine, since if I could reach the brightness of utopia

I would take the time to go trough your memories in slow motion

Come on break up, break up, take my hand and bid farewell to the distopia

Fill yourself with the future, so come, take my hand and submerge

Come on, let us hold hands

That way, there is no need to be scared

Passing through the doubts and problems

Driving you away from all that frustration

All those days of sadness, happiness

They have made you who you are, so give me your hand

So let me, let me dive in through the deep sea of utopia

To melt us by a wave of rapid emotions

Come on, break it, break it down, destroy that dystopia

I'm going to take your hand, so we can submerge ourselves in this ocean without end

Blue, bright, let me dive.

Fly through the sky, like a paradise

Blue, bright, let me dive.

Fly through the sky, like a paradise

Blue, bright, let me dive.

Fly through the sky, like a paradise

Blue, bright, let me dive.

Fly through the sky, like a paradise~

Joseph P Farrell Antarctica Revealed! Admiral Byrd, JFK, Nazis, Atlantis & More! - Duration: 4:13.

Joseph P. Farrell Antarctica Revealed!

Admiral Byrd, JFK, Nazis, Atlantis & More!

By EDITOR

Antarctica Synchronicity with Deep Events!

In this fascinating Part 1 episode, Dark Journalist Daniel Liszt welcomes back Oxford Scholar

Dr. Joseph Farrell to analyze the strange history and peculiar recent happenings around

the mysterious icy wilderness of Antarctica.

The last year has seen many high level figures visiting there as Farrell has written about

extensively.

From Former Secretary of State John Kerry to Apollo Astronaut Buzz Aldrin, the list

of luminaries who are suddenly appearing at this remote location has grown quite unusual

and extensive raising major questions.

Admiral Byrd JFK Connection Revealed Here for the First Time!

A major connection between Admiral Byrd and the JFK Assassination will be revealed here

for the first time as Dark Journalist and Joseph Farrell reveal that D.H. Byrd, the

Texas Oilman that was friends with LBJ and owned The Texas School Book Depository where

the designated culprit Lee Harvey Oswald was framed for the shooting President Kennedy,

was actually Admiral Byrds cousin!

In fact Admiral Byrd had one of the mountains of Antarctica named after him!

This strange artifact of Deep State intrigue opens more doors to a huge underworld of military,

intelligence, and oil interests that have conspired to control history.

Nazi Obsessions with the Mystical Aryan Fatherland

Farrell details how the Nazis actually enlisted Admiral Byrd previous to World War II to help

guide them with details of what they could expect once their expeditions had reached

Antarctica.

The Nazi mythology entrusted a great deal of mystical interest in an Atlantis-like Fatherland

that they believed lay somehwere in the Icy South Pole.

Flying Discs in Antarctica?

Byrds strange comments to a Chilean journalist after his strangely brief Antarctica expedition

in 1947 about the US needing to prepare to fight an enemy that could fly easily from

pole to pole with tremendous speed have led to dramatic conjecture about what he saw

that led him to come back so soon and be rattled so deeply.

Byrd never again discussed his powerful sightings in public.

Informative, exciting, and power-packed with revelations you dont want to miss this

fascinating Dark Journalist episode!

Born and raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Joseph P. Farrell has a doctorate in patristics

from the University of Oxford, and pursues research in physics, alternative history and

science, and strange stuff.

His book The Giza DeathStar was published in the spring of 2002, and was his first venture

into alternative history

and science.

Ubisoft Star Players @ e3 2017 - Day 2 (Ubisoft Press Conference) - Duration: 8:04.

it'll be funny if they focus the camera on me

and people who didn't know I'm here be like:

"OMG Cadu is there"

but I guess most people will be like:

I don't know him

who is that person? IDK

well, that's it

and he forgot the keys inside his room

I always forget my card when I travel

always, it's impossible...

for real, in Paris I always forgot

all three times I went there I forgot the card

JD & AC at the same bus

P.S.: what we did in the bus

Yes, dancing a little bit more

P.S.: MOM, I'M ON TV, I mean, ON UBI BROADCAST

I have to admit I almost cried when Miyamoto entered

I need to highlight this moment

and now, we're waiting

waiting, waiting

they are trying to check the routines

but something I never understand

is how the time for Just Dance is kinda

microscopic, compared to the rest of the conference

there's no speech from the devs

or something about the features

no, it's just...

"There's a new Just Dance" and it's gone

it's too fast

discovering we got a portable recharger :3 :3 :3

for those who loves dancing

I think you won't believe where we are now

where is that board? Oh, I found it

so, we're done being here

it was pretty nice

I think... no, I can't talk about it

I guess it'll have to wait

not a secret at all

I'm pausing this video, from my edition room (that is my bedroom)

because what we thought supposed to be a secret, wasn't

we later discovered we could post

take pictures too

At Millenium

we learned one of the choreos

of a unannounced routine from JD2018

they took a greenscreen too

to record us, they even asked us

before we travel to not wear

anything green in the conference day

and we recorded

and in the best hypothesis

we'll appear on the background for that song

and now we wait and see what will happen

going at the Observatory (to dance even more, believe it or not)

Told ya xD

now we're going

Cadu - to have dinner Kelvin - what the name of this place?

- I forgot it's name. I don't know, actually - Is it that one written on the booklet?

I guess so. IDK

I finally have arrived at the hotel, we have

actually, we've been at the hotel for a while, but

now it's later, it's about...

11:16 p.m.

because of me, putting in that way

at 10p.m. we were here, but

Kelvin, Túlio and me were...

Arthur and Pâmella too for a while

then they went upstairs

so the three of us remaining were chatting

and for those who don't know, it's the first time Túlio and I meet each other in person

yeah, we're both from Brazil and we meet each other in another country...

but no problem

I'm a little bit slow because I want to sleep but

I still need to take a shower, but I'll survive

I think I'll wake up at 6a.m.

and it's 11...

11:17p.m.

guess who is screwed

who is screwed today?

that's me

Take a deep breath in

Breathe out all the aches

You've been hurt too much

Said you've had enough

Put down the gun

Hand it over

Lay you head down

Stop talking now

Dream all the scars away

It will wash away the pain

Take a deep breath in

Don't hold you breath

We've been hurt too much

Is this the end?

Put down the blades

Throw it all away

Look at us now

Was it all in vain?

Wipe all the tears away

We're still trying to find our way

Don't say you love me

Stop saying you care

It will only hurt me

When you choose to see the end..

Don't wanna lose you

Please talk to me

But you still hurt you

Do you know it hurts me too?

Take a deep breath in

Breathe in all of me

Fill in all the cracks

with every memory

Don't run away now.

Take my hand

We'll be alright

Just stay and fight..

Whenever you are down

I will always be around

Safe In My Hands | Carl and Enid - Duration: 2:07.

Don't tell me goodbye

Always standing just outside of a circle

and no one let you in

blame it on yourself

but you're looking at the mirror

through a broken window

Shut it out all the noise that you let in

Let it go just fade away

If you could only see

There's only light where you think there's shadow

In the night, every road you take

In the night, brings you back to me

You don't stand alone, I'm right here

So take my hand, don't be scared

We can go anywhere

You don't have to run

You don't have to hide

'Cause I got you

Safe in my hands

So take my hand, don't be scared

We can go anywhere

You don't have to run

You don't have to hide

'Cause I got you

I pull you close

let them stare

I'm with you, I don't care

You don't have to run

You don't have to hide

'Cause I got you safe in my hands

safe in my hands

safe in my hands

They make you special.

They laugh at me for being different.

There's nothing wrong with being different.

Everyone's a little different.

Look at me.

I used to be bullied about having only one eye.

The bullies would call me "Telescope face" and "Cyclops."

But Vincent, you are a Cyclops.

I know.

I said they were bullies.

I didn't say they were clever.

Didn't it make you sad?

Not really, because I remembered that…

(singing) I'm Me Oh can't you see that it's just me

The only me that there could ever be It's me

Just me

And You You are the only you, it's true

And there is nothing else that you should do But just

Be you

Sometimes people can be mean And say things that are

Cruel, unkind and bad And it will make you sad

But remember What do they know anyway?

Being different is ok What do they know anyway?

Being different is ok

Oh can't you see that it's just me

The only me that there could ever be It's me

Just me

And We We're free to be what we will be

The very best of us will always be What we

Will be

I'm Me You're you

And We Can be anything

We want to be

BREAKING: Elizabeth Warren Just Put Trump's Life In Danger – Lock. Her. Up.| Top Stories Today - Duration: 2:58.

Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), is a self-styled firebrand populist who has often lead the

charge against Congressional Republicans and their efforts to reform American healthcare.

Now, Warren has pushed her agenda even further by requesting a "fight" against Trump

and Republicans.

While speaking during a town hall meeting at the Robert Boland Theatre in Pittsfield,

Massachusetts, Warren told her audience that "We must persist" against the Trump administration.

Warren further added that the "fight" against the Trump agenda is important, even

if that means pursuing things tirelessly for months, via Breitbart.

Such declarations are red meat to the #Resistance.

Warren, who is running for re-election in 2018, is one of the darlings of the Democrat

Left-wing.

One of her opponents in the race is Republican candidate, Shiva Ayyadurai.

An Indian immigrant who claims to have invented email, Mr. Ayyadurai is running on an explicitly

pro-Trump platform, via Boston Magazine.

Although Massachusetts is one of the deepest Blue States, Ayyadurai has already drawn considerable

media attention for his willingness to call out Warren as a "fake Indian" and a member

of the inept "priest caste" of American academics, via YouTube.

Warren's overblown rhetoric is particularly galling in the wake of June's attempted

assassination in Alexandria.

The shooter, James T. Hodgkinson, was a noted fan of Bernie Sanders, MNSBC, and Warren.

Hodgkinson was also a man suffering from a life-threatening illness.

He was reportedly worried that the Republican overtures against Obamacare would deny him

medical attention, via Got News.

This leaves open the possibility that Hodgkinson was radicalized by the Democrats and their

hyperbolic attacks against new Republican healthcare measures.

One of the worst offenders is none other than Elizabeth Warren.

At one point, Warren even claimed that "blood money" was involved in Republican health

care efforts.

She further argued that the plan would potentially kill millions of Americans, via Washington

Times.

Warren has apparently learned nothing from the Hodkinson shooting.

She continues to peddle fearmonger rhetoric in order paint her political enemies as heartless

and cruel monsters who want to deny most American access to healthcare.

Of course, the fact that Obamacare is an unmitigated disaster, and one that has not saved a single

life, does not compute with Warren.

She and other Democrats merely want to redirect the public's attention away from their own

political failures.

Let's not let them off the hook.

Elizabeth Warren is a fearmonger who should be voted out of office in 2018.

Do you think Elizabeth Warren should be forced to tone down her rhetoric?

Please share this news and tell us what you think.

Top 5 Izuku Midoriya Facts! - Duration: 4:01.

On this channel I tend to focus on Dragonball, but I also enjoy Boku No Hero Academia, so

I was like why the hell not just throw some of that ish up on the channel.

Let's get into this.

Welcome back to Capsule Corp. cutting edge research laboratory today we'll be going over

some little known facts about my favorite Boku No Hero Academia hero, Deku.

Clench your buttocks and scream from within your heart: "SMASH!".

We all have a favorite dish and Deku is no different his favorite dish is Katsudon, a

popular Japanese food, a bowl of rice topped with a deep-fried pork cutlet, egg, vegetables,

and condiments.

Not gonna lie that sounds delicious!

It has become a modern ritual tradition for Japanese students to eat katsudon the night

before taking a major test or school entrance exam.

I wonder did Deku eat a bowl before enrolling at U.A.

High

Something that might be interesting but in the grander scheme it really isn't.

Back in the day Bleach was a great Weekly Shounen Jump series, but a series of things

derailed that.

But we're not here to talk about that.

Ichigo Kurosaki, the main protagonist of Bleach, was born on 15th July just like Izuku Midoriya.

Let's hope Boku No Academia doesn't suffer a similar fate.

"Deku" literally translates to the "one who can't achieve/do anything") which

is also another reading of his name Izuku.

I don't think I would have the stones to pull that off using the name people use to insult

me as my hero name.

More power to you!

Izuku was first planned as an adult, as seen in the one-shot My Hero.

In the one-shot, Midoriya had a very different name Jack, Jack Midoriya.

Ugh, that name is horrible Jack is just so plain.

Jack worked in a company which sold hero items.

Here, as well, Midoriya dreamt of becoming a Hero.

Hmmm...Being a high school student is a better idea...I always enjoy reading about teenaged

heroes like Spider-man.

That's not weird, right?!

In a long line of heroes, Izuku is the ninth user of One For All.

As it is already known All Might gave his powers to Izuku Midoriya after he proved himself

worthy to inherit such a power and responsibility.

If you asked me Deku was just a deranged All Might fan boy, but maybe All Might respected

that.

Sorry if I got any of the pronunciations wrong.

I'm not the best at those types of things.

Thank you for visiting Capsule Corporation leading-edge laboratory of science and technology!

Smash the hell out of that like button to activate Plus Ultra to go further beyond!

25 Weirdest Facts About the Solar System | Part1| Exploring Nature - Duration: 12:36.

25 Weirdest Facts About the Solar System

Our place in space.

The solar system is a bizarre place with its alien planets, mysterious moons and strange

phenomena that are so out-of-this-world they elude explanation.

Scientists have discovered ice-spewing volcanoes on

Pluto, while Mars is home to a truly "grand" canyon the size of the United States.

There may even be a giant,

undiscovered planet lurking somewhere beyond Neptune.

Read on to find out some of the strangest facts about planets,

dwarf planets, comets and other incredible objects around the solar system.

1.

Uranus is tilted on its side.

Uranus appears to be a featureless blue ball upon first glance, but this gas giant

of the outer solar system is pretty weird upon closer inspection.

First, the planet rotates on its side for reasons

scientists haven't quite figured out.

The most likely explanation is that it underwent some sort of one or more

titanic collisions in the ancient past.

In any case, the tilt makes Uranus unique among the solar system planets.

Uranus also has tenuous rings, which were confirmed when the planet passed in front

of a star (from Earth's

perspective) in 1977; as the star's light winked on and off repeatedly, astronomers

realized there was more than

just a planet blocking its starlight.

More recently, astronomers spotted storms in Uranus' atmosphere several years

after its closest approach to the sun, when the atmosphere would have been heated the

most.

2.

Jupiter's moon Io has towering volcanic eruptions.

For those of us used to Earth's relatively inactive moon, Io's

chaotic landscape may come as a huge surprise.

The Jovian moon has hundreds of volcanoes and is considered the most

active moon in the solar system, sending plumes up to 250 miles into its atmosphere . Some

spacecraft have caught

the moon erupting; the Pluto-bound New Horizons craft caught a glimpse of Io bursting when

it passed by in 2007.

Io's eruptions come from the immense gravity the moon is exposed to, being nestled in Jupiter's

gravitational well.

The moon's insides tense up and relax as it orbits closer to, and farther from, the planet,

generating enough energy

for volcanic activity.

Scientists are still trying to figure out how heat spreads through Io's interior, though,

making it difficult to predict where the volcanoes exist using scientific models alone.

3.

Mars has the biggest volcano (that we know of).

While Mars seems quiet now, we know that in the past something

caused gigantic volcanoes to form and erupt.

This includes Olympus Mons, the biggest volcano ever discovered in the

solar system.

At 374 miles (602 km) across, the volcano is comparable to the size of Arizona.

It's 16 miles (25

kilometers) high, or triple the height of Mount Everest, the tallest mountain on Earth.

Volcanoes on Mars can grow

to such immense size because gravity is much weaker on the Red Planet than it is on Earth.

But how those volcanoes

came to be in the first place is not well known.

There is a debate as to whether Mars has a global plate tectonic

system and whether it is active.

4.

Mars also has the longest valley.

If you thought the Grand Canyon was big, that's nothing compared to Valles

Marineris.

At 2,500 miles (4,000 km) long, this immense system of Martian canyons is more than 10

times as long as

the Grand Canyon on Earth.

Valles Marineris escaped the notice of early Mars spacecraft (which flew over other parts

of the planet) and was finally spotted by the global mapping mission Mariner 9 in 1971.

And what a sight it was to

miss — Valles Marineris is about as long as the United States!

The lack of active plate tectonics on Mars makes it

tough to figure out how the canyon formed.

Some scientists even think that a chain of volcanoes on the other side of

the planet, known as the Tharsis Ridge, somehow bent the crust from the opposite side of Mars,

thus creating Valles

Marineris.

More close-up study is needed to learn more, but you can't send a rover over there easily.

5.

Venus has super-powerful winds.

Venus is a hellish planet with a high-temperature, high-pressure environment on

its surface.

Ten of the Soviet Union's heavily shielded Venera spacecraft lasted only a few minutes

on its surface

when they landed there in the 1970s.

But even above its surface, the planet has a bizarre environment.

Scientists

have found that its upper winds flow 50 times faster than the planet's rotation.

The European Venus Express

spacecraft (which orbited the planet between 2006 and 2014) tracked the winds over long

periods and detected

periodic variations.

It also found that the hurricane-force winds appeared to be getting stronger over time.

6.

There is water ice everywhere.

Water ice was once considered a rare substance in space, but now we know we just

weren't looking for it in the right places.

In fact, water ice exists all over the solar system.

Ice is a common

component of comets and asteroids, for example.

But we know that not all ice is the same.

Close-up examination of

Comet 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko by the European Space Agency's Rosetta spacecraft, for example,

revealed a different

kind of water ice than what is found on Earth.

That said, we've spotted water ice all over the solar system.

It's in

permanently shadowed craters on Mercury and the moon, although we don't know if there's

enough to support colonies

in those places.

Mars also has ice at its poles, in frost and likely below the surface dust.

Even smaller bodies in

the solar system have ice – Jupiter's moon Europa, Saturn's moon Enceladus, and the dwarf

planet Ceres, among

others.

7.

Spacecraft have visited every planet.

We've been exploring space for more than 60 years, and have been lucky

enough to get close-up pictures of dozens of celestial objects.

Most notably, we've sent spacecraft to all of the

planets in our solar system — Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune

— as well as two

dwarf planets, Pluto and Ceres.

The bulk of the flybys came from NASA's twin Voyager spacecraft, which left Earth in

1977 and are still transmitting data from beyond the solar system in interstellar space.

Between them, the Voyagers

clocked visits to Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune, thanks to an opportune alignment

of the outer planets.

8.

There could be life in the solar system, somewhere.

So far, scientists have found no evidence that life exists

elsewhere in the solar system.

But as we learn more about how "extreme" microbes live in underwater volcanic vents

or in frozen environments, more possibilities open up for where they could live on other

planets.

These aren't the

aliens people once feared lived on Mars, but microbial life in the solar system is a possibility.

Microbial life is

now considered so likely on Mars that scientists take special precautions to sterilize spacecraft

before sending

them over there.

That's not the only place, though.

With several icy moons scattered around the solar system, it's

possible there are microbes somewhere in the oceans of Jupiter's Europa, or perhaps underneath

the ice at Saturn's

Enceladus, among other locations.

9.

Mercury is still shrinking.

For many years, scientists believed that Earth was the only tectonically active

planet in the solar system.

That changed after the Mercury Surface, Space Environment, Geochemistry and Ranging

(MESSENGER) spacecraft did the first orbital mission at Mercury, mapping the entire planet

in high definition and

getting a look at the features on its surface.

In 2016, data from MESSENGER (which had crashed into Mercury as

planned in April 2015) revealed cliff-like landforms known as fault scarps.

Because the fault scarps are relatively

small, scientists are sure that they weren't created that long ago and that the planet

is still contracting 4.5

billion years after the solar system was formed.

10.

There are mountains on Pluto.

Pluto is a tiny world at the edge of the solar system, so at first it was thought

that the dwarf planet would have a fairly uniform environment.

That changed when NASA's New Horizons spacecraft flew

by there in 2015, sending back pictures that altered our view of Pluto forever.

Among the astounding discoveries

were icy mountains that are 11,000 feet (3,300 meters) high, indicating that Pluto must have

been geologically

active as little as 100 million years ago.

But geological activity requires energy, and the source of that energy

inside Pluto is a mystery.

The sun is too far away from Pluto to generate enough heat for geological activity, and

there are no large planets nearby that could have caused such disruption with gravity.

11.

Pluto has a bizarre atmosphere.

Pluto's observed atmosphere broke all the predictions.

Scientists saw the haze

extending as high as 1,000 miles (1,600 km), rising higher above the surface than the atmosphere

on Earth.

As data

from New Horizons flowed in, scientists analyzed the haze and discovered some surprises there,

too.

Scientists found

about 20 layers in Pluto's atmosphere that are both cooler and more compact than expected.

This affects calculations

for how quickly Pluto loses its nitrogen-rich atmosphere to space.

NASA's New Horizons team found that tons of

nitrogen gas escape the dwarf planet by the hour, but somehow Pluto is able to constantly

resupply that lost

nitrogen.

The dwarf planet is likely creating more of it through geological activity.

12.

Rings are everywhere in the solar system.

While we've known about Saturn's rings since telescopes were invented

in the 1600s, it took spacecraft and more powerful telescopes built in the last 50 years

to reveal more.

We now know

that every planet in the outer solar system – Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune – each

have ring systems.

That

said, rings are very different from planet to planet.

Saturn's spectacular rings, which may have come from a

broken-up moon, are not repeated anywhere else.

Rings aren't limited to planets, either.

In 2014, for example,

astronomers discovered rings were discovered around the asteroid Chariklo.

Why such a small body would have rings is

a mystery, but one hypothesis is perhaps a broken-up moonlet created the fragments.

13.

Jupiter's Great Red Spot is shrinking.

Along with being the solar system's largest planet, Jupiter also hosts

the solar system's largest storm.

Known as the Great Red Spot (since it's big and ruddy-colored), it's been observed

in telescopes since the 1600s.

Nobody knows exactly why the storm has been raging for centuries, but in recent

decades another mystery emerged: the spot is getting smaller.

In 2014, the storm was only 10,250 miles (16,500 km)

across, about half of what was measured historically.

The shrinkage is being monitored in professional telescopes

and also by amateurs, as telescope and computer technology allow high-powered photographs

at an affordable cost.

Amateurs are often able to make more consistent measurements of Jupiter, because viewing time

on larger,

professional telescopes is limited and often split between different objects.

The Murder Weapon You Would Use To Kill Your Victims, Based On Your Zodiac Sign - Duration: 6:12.

The Murder Weapon You Would Use To Kill Your Victims, Based On Your Zodiac Sign

Aries: March 21st – April 19th

You're impulsive, which is why you would use anything around you.

A lamp?

A statue?

A baseball bat?

You'd grab whatever was nearby and smash the person in the skull with it.

It would happen before you even realized what you grabbed.

You'd act that fast.

You'd move before thinking things through.

Taurus: April 20th – May 20th

You hold strong enough grudges to want to kill someone, but you don't really have the heart to go through with hurting someone.

That's why you would use a gun.

That way, you wouldn't have to get up close.

You wouldn't have to get any blood on your hands.

You wouldn't have to see what they looked like as they died.

Gemini: May 21st – June 20th

You would use a match and some gasoline to light their whole house on fire.

When you're angry, you're angry, so it wouldn't be enough to just kill them.

You'd want to destroy everything they've ever loved.

Their house.

Their clothes.

Their photographs.

Fuck all of it.

Cancer: June 21st – July 22nd

You hate confrontation, so you would never walk up to someone with a knife and stab them in broad daylight.

You would kill them sneakily.

While they're asleep.

You'd grab a pillow and suffocate them, so that they wouldn't have much of a chance to fight back.

Leo: July 23rd – August 22nd

Your murder weapon would be more of a murder location.

You would kill someone inside of their bathtub or while they were swimming in the ocean.

You would drown them, so that as long as nobody saw what you did, you would get away with it.

It might even look like the tide killed them.

Virgo: August 23rd – September 22nd

You're always outside.

You like to work with your hands, to garden.

That's why you have plenty of shovels and hammers and saws stored away that you could use if anyone ever pissed you off badly enough.

You could use those tools to make a bloody mess — and also to bury the body once you're finished.

Libra: September 23rd – October 22nd

You're patient, so you would get your revenge in the most cautious way possible.

By waiting for them to end up sick and tampering with their medication.

Or by taking them on a hike and then pushing them off a cliff to their death.

You would be willing to wait for the right time to make your move.

Scorpio: October 23rd – November 21st

You're tough.

You don't go looking for trouble, but if someone starts a fight, you're going to finish it.

That's why you wouldn't have any problem using a knife.

Feeling their skin tear.

Watching their eyes fade to white.

Trying to think of an excuse before the cops came.

Sagittarius: November 22nd – December 21st

You aren't really the type to hold a grudge.

So if someone made you angry enough to murder them, it would be a spur of the moment thing.

You wouldn't meticulously plan out the murder, buy a weapon on the black market, and then return to make your move weeks later.

You would act now by using your own hands.

You would beat them to a pulp and then leave them for dead.

Capricorn: December 22nd – January 19th

Since you're intelligent, you would go full Walter White and use a poison like ricin to murder your victims.

That way, the doctors would have a hard time detecting it in their system and you would get to walk away without any jail time.

Besides, you're too malicious to use a gun or a knife.

You would take pleasure in the fact that the poison was killing them slowly.

Aquarius: January 20th – February 18th

You have a creative mind, which is why you would never use a common weapon that could be traced back to you and your fingerprints.

You would steal an idea from your favorite crime films and use an ice pick to stab someone through the stomach or the eye.

That way, the evidence would melt away before the cops showed up to examine the body.

Pisces: February 19th – March 20th

You would strangle someone to death — but not with your own two hands, because that would be too personal.

You would use a rope or an electrical chord or anything you could find to get the job done.

That way, you could stand behind them and do it.

You wouldn't have to see the damage you're inflicting, which would make it easier for someone softhearted like you.
