Youtube daily report w Feb 13 2018

The meteoric rise of computer technology might not trouble the average millennial, but for

those of you who remember the days before we were all hyper-connected, our reliance

on modern technology might seem somewhat problematic at times.

Where will we be in another 50 years?

Iconoclastic entrepreneur Elon Musk has said if we don't get a handle on artificial intelligence,

we may create something we'll sorely regret.

Perhaps the most frightening depiction of tech dystopia is in the television series

Black Mirror, which exposes a world lacking in empathy, where what once were dreams have

turned into living nightmares.

Even now the media argues over automation.

Will it mean a laid back life for the masses, or mass unemployment under a technocracy?

Innovation is unstoppable, and there are a handful of tech companies at the forefront

of this innovation.

We'll look at two of them today, in this episode of the Infographics Show, Google vs.

Apple.

Don't forget to subscribe and click the bell button so that you can be part of our

Notification Squad.

If you've seen our other shows on Apple, you'll already know something about the

company.

It was started by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak in 1976, with both men pushing to create the

ideal personal computer.

Jobs was forced out of Apple after what has been called a "failed boardroom coup."

The company, however, lacked a great leader and Jobs was brought back to eventually become

CEO.

It was shortly after this that Apple grew into the innovative tech giant it is today.

Jobs's vision of the ideal personal computer became manifested when he introduced the first

iMac in 1998.

The world was equally impressed when Apple came out with the easy to use and beautifully

made iPod three years later.

Two years after that came the iTunes Music Store, but what really shook things up was

the release of Apple's flagship product, the iPhone.

That was in 2007.

The iPad came in 2010, and since these products came onto the market, Apple has arguably ruled

the roost of consumer gadgets.

As for Steve Jobs, he's now treated like a technology demigod.

But, where would we be without Google, the company behind the search engine that most

folks can't live without?

Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin met at Stanford University in 1995.

It's said the two did not agree on many matters, but one thing they did agree on was

the creation of a search engine that ranked pages by their importance on the World Wide

Web.

This search engine was actually first called BackRub, but then fortunately for the pair

they saw the light and made the change to Google.

Google Incorporated was born in 1998, and soon venture capitalists were poised to invest

in this small outfit.

Google just kept growing and soon billions of searches would be made every day on its

search engine.

The company created its headquarters the "Googleplex", which would soon become synonymous with the

avant-garde kind of tech workplace we see all over today.

The company has since ventured into all kinds of markets, including the smartphone business,

renewable energy, self-driving cars, enterprise services, artificial intelligence and machine

learning, and all manner of smart devices.

If we can get through life without becoming part of Apple's sometimes criticized ecosystem,

it would be difficult to not be a consumer of a Google product.

Because Google has its fingers in so many pies, it created a parent company that goes

by the name Alphabet Inc.

This is what we call a conglomerate.

Now let's get straight to money matters.

As we said before, some critics have said these companies are too big for our own good.

If we take a look at the most recent Forbes 'World's Biggest Companies List', Apple

is in ninth place.

That is the highest ranked tech company on the list, and for some time now the media

has been telling us Apple will become the world's first company to be worth a staggering

one trillion dollars.

Forbes has Apple's sales on its latest list at $217.5 billion, profits at $42.5 billion,

assets at $331.1 billion and a total value of $752 billion.

The next tech company down the list is Samsung Electronics, and in 24th place is Alphabet,

inc.

Forbes puts Alphabet's sales at $89.9 billion, profits at $19.5 billion, assets at $167.5

billion and net worth at $579.5 billion.

But 2017 has passed now, and so we must wait until Forbes creates its new list.

As Fortune writes in 2017, while Apple generates bigger profits, it is only slightly ahead

of Google in regards to which company will become the world's first company with a

valuation of over one trillion dollars.

Fortune puts Amazon as the third company in the running, with Microsoft also a contender

and Facebook not far behind.

Tesla, it says, is a "dark horse", but CEO Elon Musk seems to think his company is

on a similar trajectory to one of SpaceX's rockets.

Back to Google and Apple.

It's thought that Apple has around 123,000 employees, but to the chagrin of President

Donald Trump, Apple outsources much of its manufacturing to countries such as China and

Taiwan.

Apple's biggest partner in the assembling business is Foxconn, and it has factories

in a number of countries around the world.

Google has 73,992 employees as of 2017.

It outsources such things as IT functions to India, while it's also been building

its servers in Asia.

Where is a better place to work?

Well, that's not easy to say.

According to one engineer that has worked at both companies, Google is better if you

want to solve big technological problems, as Apple is more concerned with design and

Google with technology.

If you are a female engineer where would be better?

Google is currently being sued for pay discrimination based on gender, whereas Apple has been shouting

from the rooftops that it has solved the gender pay gap.

Which is the better company in general?

When it comes to controversy both these world leaders have been tainted more than a few

times.

Apple has come under the gun for human rights abuses in its assembly factories in China,

and we all remember the news about those suicide nets at its assembly plants.

But more recently Apple has been skewered in the press for its offshore business in

Ireland, and late last year the billions it has saved from offshoring in the tax haven

of the Channel Island of Jersey.

CEO Tim Cook fired back stating that Apple was the USA's biggest tax payer.

Alas, Google is no stranger to tax avoidance, so much so that in the UK a Google Tax has

been mulled over to get something back from companies that funnel their profits through

low-tax countries.

It seems there is no angel in this department.

What about their products, which company could you just not live without?

While it may be some time before we are being driven around in one of Google's autonomous

vehicles, and even though we enjoyed our 30-minute dalliance with its machine learning doodle

bot, Google has a few things that we might take for granted.

That is arguably its search engine, the Chrome browser; its Android operating system, Gmail,

and to a lesser extent its productivity suite, or Google Suite.

We might also mention that Google owns YouTube.

To give you an idea on Google-Power, its Chrome browser alone has an almost 60 percent share

of the browser market.

The Google search engine has a 75 percent share of the search engine market and Android

has a whopping 87 percent share of the mobile operating system market.

But then we have those innovative and sleek Apple products, and also the Apple operating

system, iOS, that Apple aficionados will tell you they cannot live without.

"I'd never go back," you hear many an Apple user saying.

The question is, which company has really done the most for mankind, and looking into

the future, who will be at the forefront of tech innovation?

Both companies are making hay in the augmented and virtual reality space, and both are very

serious about artificial intelligence.

So, who will be on top in 10 years' time?

Let us know your thoughts in the comments!

Trey Gowdy Let Everyone In On This Secret The FBI Was Trying To Hide- BreakingNews24 - Duration: 22:50.

Trey Gowdy Let Everyone In On This Secret The FBI Was Trying To Hide

Republicans releasing the Nunes memo was a bombshell that rocked Washington.

For the first time, Americans were given proof there was an anti-Trump conspiracy at the

highest levels of the FBI.

In one interview, Trey Gowdy revealed a secret the FBI was desperate to keep hidden.

The central claim of the Nunes memo was the FBI made the Steele dossier the foundational

evidence used to obtain a FISA warrant against Trump campaign aide Carter Page.

FBI leadership knew the document was really the handywork of the Clinton campaign and

that its key findings – that the Trump campaign was colluding with the Russians – were unverified.

Gowdy appeared on CBS Face the Nation and stunned viewers when he said the FISA warrant

could not have been obtained without the Steele dossier.

The Daily Wire reported on his exchange with host Margaret Brennan:

"BRENNAN: We should dig into this because you are, from my understanding, the only Republican

investigator on the House Intelligence Committee who actually viewed the FISA applications.

Everything that went into essentially putting together this memo.

So, when you're talking about this Steele memo, you are not saying that it was the sole

piece of evidence used to justify these four authorizations of the surveillance warrant,

are you?

GOWDY: No.

It was not the exclusive information relied upon by the FISA court.

BRENNAN: Would it have been authorized were it not for that dossier?

GOWDY: No, it would not have been.

BRENNAN: How can you say that because it was authorized four times by separate judges?

GOWDY: Right, and the information was in there all four times.

And the judge doesn't do independent research.

There are three Republicans that have seen every bit of information — three of us.

Bob Goodlatte (R-VA), the Chairman of the Judiciary, Johnny Ratcliffe (R-TX), who was

a former terrorism prosecutor and a U.S. attorney in Texas, and me.

All three of us have total confidence in the FBI and DOJ to be able to do the jobs that

they have been assigned; we have confidence in Bob Mueller; and we have serious concerns

about this process.

So, we have all three of those things in common, including being concerned about what happened

in 2016."

The whole story stinks.

It's a scandal worse than Watergate.

And the real investigation should be into the corruption at the top of the FBI and former

Director Comey and others weaponizing the FISA warrant process to try and destroy Donald

Trump.

We will keep you up to date on any new developments

in

this story.

Inside Real Madrid #2 | Real Madrid x Borussia Dortmund - Duration: 5:57.

MADRID, SPAIN DECEMBER, 5th, 2017

Let's see how it goes getting him in to school today.

As he spent the weekend with us, it gets harder.

He gets kinda... he doesn't want to go.

Give daddy a kiss.

Bye!

♫ Most people talk about love In a singular fashion ♫

♫ If I talk about love It's in an unpopular way ♫

♫ Those who don't feel love For the Brazilian people ♫

♫ Doesn't represent me nor here Nor in foreign countries ♫

It's the second day after the game.

And I guess this is part of match recovering.

The final part, that is.

And I think we're gonna do a technical warm up,

normally we do that on the second day after the game.

There probably will be ball possession, which we always do.

And we'd finish with crossings, finishings, something like that.

REAL MADRID CITY, SPAIN DECEMBER, 5th, 2017

When the game is at 4 o'clock on the next day,

we go to the training ground, but when it's after 4 o'clock we don't.

We arrive on the day of the game,

get to Bernabéu, leave our cars,

and from there we go to Valdebebas,

where we stay.

And when it's out of town, we travel on the same day.

The only thing that changes going to the training ground.

And the butterflies on the belly. I joke about it with Casemiro.

Every game we get butterflies on our stomachs.

it's incredible, any game...

It could be a friendly match, or whatever.

We get those butterflies.

And if there's a day when we don't,

we shouldn't be playing anymore.

Casa remete a família, lar".

Quem estava indo embora? Família", fala Patrícia, acreditando assim que a família Lima será eliminada no Paredão.

Google vs Apple - Which Is More Successful? - Duration: 7:08.

Trump.

We will keep you up to date on any new developments

in

this story.

💥 War Thunder. Т-55А versus M60A1 RISE - Duration: 8:08.

Today we're going to pit yet another two vehicles of War Thunder against each other.

The first contender is representing the most-produced tank series in the world.

It's the Soviet T-55A.

Its opponent is the modified version of the already great M60A1.

It's the AmericanM60A1 RISE (P).

Let's kick off with a mobility test.

Keep in mind that we won't be speaking about vehicles' speed-characteristics in ideal conditions

we are comparing the average speeds they have while they trudge through snow and mud.

The T-55A is off to a good start.

Its 580hp engine allows it to go at an average speed of 39-41 kmph.

It also travels in reverse at 7 kmph. Not bad.

What about our M60?

Despite having a more powerful engine,

the American vehicle shows the same figures while going forward

39-41 kph that is.

But it's considerably better at going in reverse: 11 kph.

There might be a joke about the French somewhere here, but the truth is

that being able to quickly get back into cover after a shot is a great advantage on a battlefield.

Now, let's see how long it takes to turn these beauties round.

Ready...steady...go!

As you see, the Soviet machine proves to be slightly faster than its American counterpart.

Next, we examine the turret

and the M60 looks like a clear winner right off the bat.

First, it has a better turret traverse speed.

Second, it can fire a shell 0.3 seconds faster than the T-55A.

Doesn't seem like much, but in combat it's details like this that decide your fate.

Turret protection is also quite important.

Even though the T-55 has thicker armour here,

the turret of the M60 can actually take more punishment thanks to its reactive armour.

If you're being pounded from the front, the only weak spot is basically the commander's cupola.

What about the hull? Well, let's put it this way

The T-55 doesn't really impress with only 100 mm of steel in the front

and the effective thickness of around 200mm.

This clearly won't do if the enemies of your BR use anything really dangerous

Even APHE shells will sometimes do the trick.

The M60, on the other hand, has ERA all over the place

and its frontal armour has the effective thickness of around 260 mm.

which means that it can survive being hit by both sub-caliber and HEAT rounds.

If you want to take it down with ease, you have to get some APFSDSs.

Okay.

What about the parts of a tank that go "boom"?

Yeah, we are aware that under some unfortunate circumstances the entirety of a tank can go boom/

We speak about the parts that do it on a regular basis.

The T-55 carries the deadly 100mm D-10-T2S,

one of the best tank guns of its time, as well as a wide range of good shells.

Your best pick here is the APFSDS round called 3BM25.

At 100 metres it easily penetrates 330 mm of armour.

and it goes through M60's reactive armour like a hot knife through butter.

The American gun is also quite amazing, though.

The M60A1 RISE (P) carries a 105mm M68 gun,

and if you use an M735 APFSDS round,

it breaks through up to 355 mm of armour.

Taking into account the fact that the American gun has a faster reload speed,

the Soviet machine finds itself at a serious disadvantage here.

When it comes to secondary armaments it's more or less the same with both tanks.

You just get a couple of machine guns.

Both vehicles have the capability of creating smoke screens:

the M60 with its smoke launchers,

and the T-55A with a smoke generating system.

ATGMs, you say? Don't need'em!

well, maybe you do, but don't have them anyway!

The last thing to consider is the role these vehicles play on the battlefield.

The T-55A is not a frontline fighter:

it lacks protection to engage the likes of the MBT-70

or the M60A1 RISE, for that matter from the front.

On the other hand, a great gun and a low enough profile make it a decent ambusher,

and while fighting for control zones or as a part of the second wave, it can wreak some real havoc.

The modified M60 has better protection

but it's still not enough to survive hits from any big boys.

Which means that it's also meant to capture points.

Forget about ambushes though: the size of the tank won't allow it.

What is our verdict then?

After a few rounds...the American contender wins with a KO!

Which means that the M60A1 RISE (P) has just earned the right to fight in the final…

What do you mean «there are no finals or anything»?

Is that it? Ah. Oh. Okay.

Which means that the M60A1 RISE (P) is not going to fight in any of the... hum..

God damn it!

The M60A1 RISE (P) is a winner, okay?

If you disagree with our verdict, feel free to tell us what you think in the comments below!

Are Atheists Open-minded? - Duration: 2:37.

Are atheists open-minded?

Many atheists I talk to say, "Of course, I'm open minded, show me the evidence or

proof that God exists and I'll believe."

But when they are presented with proofs for the existence of God those same atheists will

say, "That's just fallacious God of the gaps reasoning.

Your evidence for God comes from ignorance.

You say, 'I don't know what caused the Big Bang, therefore God did it.'

I'd rather wait for science to provide the correct explanation and not rush to put God

in a gap of my knowledge."

But if you say that any possible evidence for God isn't good enough, then you aren't

really open-minded.

You assumed beforehand that no evidence is good enough so you've already made up your

mind beforehand.

If you're an atheist take a minute and try to honestly answer this question: What specific

evidence would convince you that God exists?

Don't say what type of evidence would convince you; come up with a specific example.

A common one I hear is that if after praying an amputated limb grew back, then that person

would believe in God.

But isn't that a God of the gaps argument?

Aren't you saying, "I don't know what caused this limb to grow back, therefore God

did it?"

The arguments for the existence of God don't take the form of "I don't know, therefore

God."

Instead, they take the form of, "There are good reasons to believe effect X can never

be explained naturally, therefore it must have a supernatural explanation, or God."

If you agree that limbs can't come into existence from nothing and therefore any such

regrown limbs require a divine cause, then if the universe came into existence from nothing,

wouldn't that require a divine cause?

If not, why not?

If you're truly open-minded, then check out the reasons for God that the best philosophers

past and present have put forward.

Even if they don't convince you, at least after critically examining them you'll be

able to say why they don't convince you.

That's better than just assuming they don't succeed and not bothering to do some critical

thinking on one of the most important questions of all time.

For Catholic Answers, I'm Trent Horn, and thanks for watching.

use what you've got at home all three of these looks are going to require really

minimal products as well as super inexpensive and affordable products that

you can just find at your local Walmart Target CVS places like that that are a

little bit more readily available than Sephora or Ulta and some areas but

face and even my brow products everything is affordable everything's

from the drugstore and everything will be linked down below so let's get into

it the first look I'm going to be showing you how to create is a fresh and

flirty look I wanted to focus on the eyelashes as well as the lips this look

is for those of you who might be on a time crunch and don't really know what

to do but want to look really fresh flirty and pretty for Valentine's Day

with this look you can go ahead and do your complexion I went ahead and applied

my maybelline superstay foundation I use my Maybelline age rewind concealer under

the eyes and a little bit down the center of the face I set everything with

the fit me powder sculpted the face with my L'Oreal Lumi bronzer bronzer added

some blush today I'm using the flower Beauty powder blush in the shade sweet

pea and then the highlight on my cheeks is the essence pure nude highlighter so

my brows are also my drugstore brow routine which I will link

down below if you're curious as to what products I use for that and how I go

about doing my drugstore brows so this look is so so easy I'm gonna be doing

one of my favorite tricks for the eyeshadow portion we're gonna go ahead

and hop into the L'Oreal Lumi bronzer bronzer again since the lips and the

lashes are going to be a focal point I just want subtle definition through the

ice so nothing crazy I did apply concealer on the eyelid and then I set

it with the fit me powder so it's nice and prepped right now for just a little

bit more dimension and depth to be added it's nice and powdery I personally love

to add eyeshadows on the lower lash line as well but basically you're just

wanting to make a really subtle definition around the eyes so that it

doesn't look too flat there's some dimension there and just using whatever

bronzer you've got is a great way to achieve a super easy I look in like a

minute or less so now that we have a really subtle definition around the eyes

I'm wanting a little bit of an eyeliner on the top lid I'm gonna go into my

Burt's Bees nourishing eyeliner and this is a really beautiful warm brown color

the reason why I'm choosing a brown color is because I want this to be a

soft flirty approachable all that jazz for Valentine's Day so I'm gonna go

ahead and scribble that on the top lashline and I'm also giving it a really

soft flick at the end I'm not gonna be too concerned about like it looking

perfect I want it to be really soft I'm kind of patting over the eyeliner with

my finger to kind of diffuse the edges a little bit but I do want a subtle cat

eye winging out this way to draw more attention to the eyes so now that we've

got brown eyeliner on both eyes I'm gonna go ahead and prime my lashes with

the L'Oreal voluminous primer I love this stuff I've noticed a huge

difference when I use this primer versus when I don't it just really helps

condition the lashes and also separates them and then it makes your lashes look

so full it's insane next I'm gonna go into my mascara I'm going to use the

L'Oreal voluminous lash paradise mascara and just do a coat right on top of the

primer if you want to you can leave your lashes as is with mascara but I really

want to draw attention to the eyes through the lashes and so I'm gonna add

some falsies these are also from the drugstore they're from ardell and they

are the one 20 Demi lashes it's gonna go ahead and pop those on I'm

just going to apply some kiss flash glue to the lash band I'm gonna let the glue

get a little bit tacky and then just apply the lashes right above your

natural lashes it always helps me to look down into a mirror because then I

can really see where the lashes are being applied so now I'm just adding a

little bit more mascara on the top lashes to blend in the false ones with

my real ones and now we're ready for the lip with this look you could really go

for any sort of lip color the one I'm gonna use today is the Physicians

Formula healthy lip velvet finish liquid lipstick in the shade oral minerals this

is a little bit more of a fun twist on a classic pink for Valentine's Day it's

still a nude and it's still in the pink family but it definitely has a little

bit more of a coral to it which I love I just think this is such a beautiful

coral a nude color it's still super approachable and perfect for Valentine's

Day but it's a little bit different a little bit more bright than your typical

soft Pink's you could really go for any color with this these are some other

liquid lipsticks from Physicians Formula literally any of these would go with

this eye look since it's so minimal but since we wanted something fresh I went

for a more melon coral kind of nude and this is the final look

this look is definitely the easiest to do as well as probably the most

inexpensive you're not going to need to go out and buy a ton of products if any

for this look so if you are on a time crunch or if you're not really looking

to spend any money for Valentine's Day it look like this would be absolutely

perfect I love it looks like this I think it's a

little bit more glam you can still wear it during the daytime it's fun it's

approachable it's fresh it's sweet all my favourite types of kinds of looks all

rolled into one so I hope you guys like the final fresh and flirty and now let's

move into the next look the second look we're going to be creating is a more

smoky and sultry makeup look I wanted to do a smoky eye that's gonna be super

easy and really forgiving and flattering on so many different skin tones and eye

colors so let's get into it again this is a look that you could either do your

foundation first or last depending on the eyeshadow that you're using and how

much fallout you get with the eyeshadow I'm going to be using the elf matte

format summer breeze eyes shadow palette this just has really great brown tones

they're matte they're pigmented it's inexpensive and a really great

palette so I'm actually just gonna quickly dip into this light bone color

and I'm just going to be sweeping this from the top of the brow down to the

crease now I'm gonna be taking this dark brown shade the second-to-last darkest

shade make sure to tap off the extra and working in layers I'm just gonna start

to build this color all over the lid focusing most of the pigment close to

the lash line and then as the brush gets less and less pigment I'm just gonna

bring it up through the crease a little bit and again I'm just working in small

light layers building it until you get the intensity that you want obviously

you guys can use any brown shadow that you have or like I'm taking out on the

same brush but I'm just going to pinch it and start to buff this on the lower

lash line as well this is such an easy foolproof way to do a smoky eye brown

shadows are typically a lot more forgiving than a black so if you're

nervous about creating a smoky eye just use Brown and that will create the same

kind of intense effect but with a lighter color that's gonna be way more

flattering and a lot easier to use so I'm just gonna go ahead and do that on

the other eye I'm gonna hop into the black I'm just gonna take a tiny bit of

this you could also use a darker Brown if you don't want to use black at all

and I'm just going to feather this on the outer third of the top lashline I

just want a little more depth so once everything looks pretty blended on both

eyes and evenly it pigmented I'm gonna go ahead and hop into a brown eyeliner

so this one is actually from colour-pop I can't find my dark brown drugstore

eyeliner so just find whatever dark brown or black eyeliner I'm choosing to

stick with Browns because it's still gonna be smoky but not too much in my

opinion so this is the color pop cream gel liner in the shade call me it's

actually a little bit of a plummy Brown so it has a tiny bit of a purple

undertone but I'm just going to scribble this on the top lashline I'm also

applying it on the lower lash line and in the waterline we've got our eyes all

lined and lined in the waterline I'm gonna go use that same exact eyelash

primer on the top and bottom lashes again all these products that I'm using

will be linked down below so if you miss a product or you're again curious as to

what's on my face everything will be linked in the description and then I'm

gonna go with my same L'Oreal voluminous lash mascara on the top and bottom

lashes I'm not gonna be using falsies with this

look but I am going to really load up the mascara to give a really nice smoky

and diffuse effect with the lashes as well it'll go really nicely with the

brown shadow on the eyes to make sure that the eyes don't look too closed off

I'm gonna go into my essence if your nude highlight this is the highlighter

that I have on my face right now and I'm just going to apply this to the inner

corner of the eyes and with whatever is left on the brush I'm just going to

apply that to the brow bone to lift the brow I'm dusting away any fallout that

we might have had it was just a little bit of that Maybelline fit me at powder

I'm also adding a little bit more blush to just help balance out the dark smoky

eye for lips you could just apply your favorite nude pink

this one's from flower beauty it is their matte lipstick in the shades and

you could do a tinted lip balm a lip gloss really anything that you prefer

with this eye look I'm wanting the brows to look a little bit more sharp than

they currently are so I'm going back in and sharpening these I'm just kind of

adjusting my face makeup to help everything else look more balanced after

I finished my eye makeup I felt like I looked a little bit washed out so I'm

adding more bronzer as well I always love to kind of just take a step back

before I leave the house and reapply bronzer or blush if needed and I do feel

like we needed a little more warmth with the smoky eye so that completes the more

sultry smoky eye makeup look again so easy so wearable if you're wanting to do

something a little bit more intense for Valentine's Day again just use what

you've got I'm sure you have somewhere in your collection a nice brown

eyeshadow that you can work with and then just use your favorite nude pink

lip and boom you've got a really beautiful bold but approachable makeup

look for Valentine's Day so now let's move into the last makeup look so the

last look I'm going to create is a more romantic rosy toned makeup look for

those of you who want to be a little bit more princessy and a little bit more

romantic for Valentine's Day so this time I am going to do my eyes first I've

prepped my brows already and then I also applied the Maybelline age rewind

concealer on the eyelid and set it with my fit me loose powder so we are ready

to just go in with eyeshadow for this look I felt like the Maybelline City

kits pink edge palette would be perfect it's just so Valentine

dei to me in my opinion so I thought this would be awesome so I'm gonna start

off with this shade right here it's a really nice light tone and I'm going to

buff this from the brow to the lash line to further create a really nice base for

the eyeshadows to blend over easy as that and now I'm going to go into this

shade right here this is actually a blush but I really like to use it as a

pink transition shade so I'm gonna go ahead and take a small amount and really

really work in layers and in when shield wiper motions to just really blend this

through the transition I don't want it to look too bold I just want a really

nice soft pink in that area so I'm making sure to have a really light hand

but I do feel like having this color pink in the transition looks really

romantic and just pretty so I'm just making sure to blend it all out the main

color is going to be this rose gold shade right here I'm gonna go ahead and

take that on a short dense brush I'm really gonna try to pack the product

onto the brush here and then I'm gonna take my setting spray and wet the brush

with that and that's just gonna give us a more foiled eyeshadow effect which I

think is so pretty so I'm just gonna go ahead and apply this all over the lid

and I'm applying it from the lash line up to the crease and after I have that

nice base from wetting the brush I'm actually going to dip my finger into the

exact same shade and intensify the metallic even more by just pressing on

some more shadow on top of the wet shadow that we just applied so next I'm

going to go ahead and go into these two purple shades I'm just gonna go ahead

and mix them and I'm going to apply this to the outer third of the lid just

working in layers again and buffing it in circular motions and then taking

what's left on the brush after and kind of dragging it through the crease a

little bit just for some definition there since we are doing the eyes first

I'm not gonna worry too much about this edge down here so just blend the

eyeshadows down and we will clean them up with a makeup wipe in a minute but

just make sure that everything up here is nice and blended don't worry too much

about how far down you go here so now I'm just going to take my makeup wipe

and clean up any fallout and this is where we will also kind of sharpen up

the edge here and now we apply foundation concealer under the eyes and

down the center of the face and then I just go ahead and set the face with the

Maybelline fit me powder and at this point I like to go back into my eye

shadow palette and kind of finish up the eyes so I'm just gonna go and do this

thing that we were doing on the top lid I'm gonna take this pink shade and buff

this out on the lower lash line I'm gonna go ahead and go into these two

purple shades right here just on the outer third of the lower lash line to

kind of deepen that up a little bit and I always like to make sure to buff it up

to the existing eye shadows up here I just feel like it helps everything look

more finished and then I'm gonna take that gold shade that we used on the top

lid and I'm going to wet this brush as well and I'm going to apply this to the

lower lash line I love the look of like a golden lower lash line I just think

it's so pretty now I'm gonna pop on mascara and lash

primer really quickly BAM we've got mascara on and now I'm gonna go ahead

and go into my bronzer really quickly and just warm up the entire complexion

with this I'm just gonna add a little bit of blush to the cheeks and of course

we can't forget about highlight on the high points of the face next we're gonna

hop into this pink shade in this highlight shade here and I'm gonna use

this to highlight the inner corner I just kind of like the idea of a more

pinky inner corner highlight I feel like it's very fitting I'm taking what's left

underneath the brow this next step is optional I'm gonna put a nude liner in

the lower waterline just to really open up the eyes and make you look more awake

this is from L'Oreal it's their infallible along where I pencil in the

shade nude and to finish off the look I'm using another flower Beauty lipstick

this is in the shade autumn rose which is very fitting for this rosy tone look

so I applied a layer blotted some off with a tissue and now I'm kind of

blending the rest out with my finger I just want more of a stain almost not a

heavy layer of lip product on the lips so that's how I like to do it I'm adding

a little more bronzer I just like to look nice and bronzed and healthy I feel

like it's a good look for Valentine's Day so now I'm just going to touch up

and set the brows and now we will set the face I love using the morphe

continuous setting mist I know this isn't at like Walmart so a good

drugstore option is the Milani make it do a setting spray I love that one never

tried to make it last setting spray but I hear that one's a good one too if you

are wondering and there you have it that completes the romantic rose makeup look

VLOG #19: HOTSPOT HOPPING IN NEW YORK • Rens Kroes - Duration: 14:41.

Hey guys.

I am back in New York.

And I am feeling sick.

I will have a panel later today.

It is called 'Meet the Well Entrepreneurs.'

A friend of mine...

I told her I am not feeling well and that I have a panel later.

I said: I am sick!

Then she said: you can pretend that that is your sexy voice.

But yes, my eyes are bit swollen.

Yes, Powerfoodies can be sick too.

I have an interview first,

at 12:30 PM.

Then hair and make up at 3 PM.

I think I need it.

Then the panel starts at 4 PM.

I am very excited.

I will be talking about my business.

How I set it up.

And how you can earn money with it.

I think it is quite a difficult subject.

Because I am not doing it for the money.

But for a lot of people it is about money.

They mainly find that interesting.

But I love to tell everybody that you can also turn it around.

In the end it is my mission to make people aware of their lifestyle.

I love helping people,

and the extra is that I can earn money by doing so.

So that you can have a nice life.

This is what I am wearing.

-7 degrees guys!

Very cold, but the sun is shining!

I am looking for a cab.

I am in the cab.

I have an interview with Pure Wow now.

Pure Wow.

I am at...

I am going downstairs now.

I am going on stage in a bit.

I cannot wait to see what it will be like.

I hope someone can film it for me.

I am all by myself.

Where are my assistants?

It's a wrap.

Pff.

It was quite hard.

I have to talk English.

It is a totally new market for me.

But in the end it went fine and I am happy I did it.

Another learning moment.

So I am proud of myself.

We are at Species by the Thousands.

It is a beautiful store,

with very beautiful crystals,

sage and other things.

This is totally my thing.

So beautiful.

So I am going to take a look around and 'investigate'.

Healing crystals.

Do you own any? Let me know.

This is the burrito crêpe.

And you have the breakfast one.

With avocado.

I am in a store,

so cute, with lots of nice things.

I am busy trying to find something.

It is so cute.

If you are ever looking for a fun present for someone,

then this is the place to be.

It has lots of cute and tiny presents.

Good morning.

I am going to make a smoothie with,

lemons, bananas and some adaptogens.

And MSM powder.

And water.

Sometimes I add almond milk, but I ran out of that.

I am going to start.

Hello, I am at a restaurant for a meeting.

With a cup of coffee.

We will continue in a bit.

This is Upland,

a very beautiful restaurant.

Can you guys see those jars with fermented food over there?

Over there, on the shelves.

It looks beautiful.

Apparantly Obama had dinner here too.

So it is a very popular place now.

I am standing in a very nice supermarket.

Organic.

I love to come here.

I made a shot for myself.

It is a ginger shot,

with oregano oil.

That was a strong one.

Falafel!

So good.

With hummus.

I cannot wait.

I love this place.

This is the best falafel in town.

Good morning.

I am on my way,

walking very slowly,

to an event.

But I cannot find a cab.

That is not a surprise, as it is snowing.

Right, I found one.

After 15 minutes or so.

So I am running late.

I am going to the launch of a new product.

It is called Daily Harvest.

I will meet the owner.

So inspirational.

That is always good.

I am going to take this one.

This looks so cute.

A lot of nice products.

Look at this cookbook.

So cute.

All kinds of different toppings for your toast.

I just came home.

I am now going to make a quinoa salad.

I already cooked the quinoa.

And I already made hummus.

That is great.

This is basil.

Cucumber, tomatoes and an onion.

And feta.

This is a great recipe for people that are short on time.

It is very easy to prepare ahead.

That way you can quickly make a salad.

This looks delicious right?

And pretty.

I added some curry powder to the quinoa.

By adding that it looks better.

Plus it is more tasty.

I am going to enjoy it.

It is Thursday today.

I am wearing my heels again.

And a warm winter coat, because it is super cold.

I am on my way to The Alchemist's Kitchen.

I am going to see my sister.

We are going to have breakfast together because she is in town.

So much fun.

That is all I wanted to say.

Bye!

I just bought this.

We just finished our pumpkin soups.

We are going to Reformation, a sustainable clothing brand.

I am here with Mitzy!

What are we going to do?

We are going to a museum.

We are on the F train.

Which museum are we going to?

MOMA.

Have you been there before?

Yes!

And?

Lots of fun.

But it was a long time ago.

So I am looking forward to going again.

Do you know the way?

Yes!

What do you think of this painting?

I love this painting.

I do not go to museums very often.

No.

But I love this modern, more abstract art.

Yes.

The reason I love this painting so much?

It gives me energy.

Especially because of the colors.

If I were the artist.

Yes.

Then I would have probably made this orange.

Yes?

I do not really like red.

What do you think it represents?

I do not necessarily think it represents something.

Oh, nothing?

It is summer!

Then this is...

What is this?

Autumn!

So this represents autumn.

What is your favorite season?

Summer!

Spring is actually my favorite season.

I love the spring.

I was born during the spring.

It is time for a delicious meal.

I am at By Chloe.

I am going to eat a vegan dish.

I cannot wait.

I ordered sweet potato fries.

And the taco salad.

I think it was called that way.

No, the quinoa taco salad.

It is all vegan guys.

Is it made with tempeh?

I do not know.

It says it on the board.

Thank you for watching dear viewers!

Did you enjoy watching this video?

Hit that like button.

If you did not enjoy it you can click the unlike button.

But hey, duh.

Leave a comment if you have a question!

See you next time!

Bye!

The SICKENING Truth About Obama's Artist Just Came Out – Look What Else He Painted! - Duration: 5:35.

The SICKENING Truth About Obama's Artist Just Came Out – Look What Else He Painted!

Former President Barack Obama and his old lady Michelle Obama just had their portraits

debut to the world and the results were hilarious.

As with most Presidents of the United States, they get professional portraits done and they're

supposed to represent the professionalism and great American standard.

Barrack and Michelle went another route, and their portraits came out a bit different.

Their paintings look like they were paid for with an EBT card and don't look "Presidential"

one bit.

Barack Obama sits on a wooden chair surrounded by flowers.

He must have sat there for eight years and watched the plants grow around him.

Michelle Obama sits on a chair floating in a realm of blank emptiness, which amounts

to the level of contributions she's made to the country.

Ruining a school lunch program does not count as a contribution.

People on social media had a lot to say about the awkward paintings.

People pointed out how odd they were and how they barely resembled the former White House

residents.

We gaze at Barack Obama surrounded by flowers and imagine the scene where Homer Simpson

fades into a bush, only to hope that Obama one day fades into a bush as well, but doesn't

resurface unless he's on a deserted island.

Michelle Obama's portrait looks like another woman.

It doesn't resemble her in the least.

Perhaps the painter felt bad and tried to make her look better.

It looks like an Aunt Jemima was painted in the 1700's and does not look anything like

what the First Lady should look like in a professional painting.

Take a look at the portraits of Barack and Michelle Obama. The portraits were so terrible

that people kept asking "who painted this" and a quick Google search provided an immediate

answer.

Kehinde Wiley painted the pictures.

Next people wondered who that was and if it was a male or female.

Another quick Google search, and we find out that Kehinde Wiley is an African American

male.

It looks like Kehinde Wiley has a lot of other portraits that are beautiful.

He does some fantastic work!

But that's when we noticed something that stuck out like a sore hitchhiker thumb.

This is something that would make me not particularly fond of hiring him if I was a former President.

This is turning out to be an absolute public relations nightmare for the Obama family.

We found that Kehinde Wiley has painted a portrait of a black person holding decapitated

white person head.

That seems very racist and morbid.

This is not someone I would hire if I was a former President.

It looks as though the Obama family just found out the hard way.

Either that or they just don't care. The Daily Caller had more information on the background

of the beheaded white people portraits: "Former President Barack Obama's portrait

painter once depicted a black woman holding the cutoff head of a white woman in a reimagining

of a story from the book of Judith.

Kehinde Wiley, the painter of Obama's portrait for the National Portrait Gallery, reimagined

the story of Judith beheading Holofernes from the deuterocanonical Book of Judith as a black

woman beheading a white woman years ago.

"It's sort of a play on the 'kill whitey' thing," Wiley told New York Magazine previously.

The original story tells the tale of a young widow named Judith who steps forward to save

her people by seducing and then cutting off the head of Holofernes, an Assyrian general.

Countless artists have reimagined the tale, but usually feature a man and a woman.

In Wiley's version of events, Judith is a black woman who cuts off the head of a white

woman."

Most of us can understand the artistic appeal at recreating a piece of history in the form

of a controversial painting.

I can appreciate the artist's daringness to try something different.

It's great when people do things that will get people talking, which these pictures surely

did for the artist.

In fact, the artist probably became a lot more popular when it was found out that he

did something that looked racist to many people.

While this isn't art that someone would hang in their family room full of kids, it

is art and art is strange.

The problem here is that it's probably not appropriate for a former President to hire

someone with a controversial history of art that depicts murdering people.

Obama was supposedly the one who mended all racial tensions, but Obama sends the wrong

message by hiring someone who paints pictures that scream "kill whitey."

The art and artist are not the problems in this situation.

The problem lies in the mind of Barack and Michelle Obama.

They should have selected an artist who does not have a history of painting white people

with their head's cut off.

As for the artist, he's just trying to make a few dollars, so let's not go too hard

on him.

He just minded his own business until Obama came along and painted him as a racist sinner.

Hiring this artist to do formal Presidential portraits is like hiring a gangster rapper

who says the "N-Word" 50 times in every song to write speeches for Donald Trump.

Maybe the artist knew Obama would get heat for this and painted the worst Presidential

portraits on purpose.

There's always that possibility that the artist made them look terrible on purpose,

and if he did that, then that would be the funniest prank on a former President ever.

If we know one thing about the portraits, it's this: they're terrible

WAS QUETZALCOATL AN EXTRATERRESTRIAL HERES HOW MESOAMERICAN MYTHOLOGY DESCRIBED

HIM

BY ARJUN WALIA

With the recent release of the Pentagons UFO footage, which comprised of two videos

filmed by U.S. Navy pilots of objects performing maneuvers that defy our current understanding

of aerodynamics, the topic of UFOs has once again grabbed headlines around the world.

The video was a step forward towards disclosing the fact that there are unknown objects in

our atmosphere that are commonly spotted and tracked on radar by defence authorities.

They are highly technologically advanced, more so than any air-craft which is available

in any global inventory at the moment.

Further to this, many people have had strange sightings that dont really make sense,

in the realm of known aircrafts.

The frequency of these sightings are not uncommon these days, especially for avid star gazers.

Havent seen one yourself?

Well, how often are you looking up into the night sky?

For many people, the answer is little to never.

Who Mans These Crafts?

The next question to be asked is, are these objects, or at least some of them, extraterrestrial?

According to one of the pilots who filmed the UFO released by the Pentagon, yes, they

are, at least thats their belief.

The Pentagons aerial defence program director, Luis Elizondo also shared his belief

that they are, along with hundreds of other high ranking personnel from several branches

of military, intelligence, academia, aerospace and academia.

He said that there is plenty of evidence to make that connection The most recent example

might be Robert Bigelow, founder of the Bigelow Aerospace corporation who, not long ago, stated

that he knows we are being visited, and have been visited by ETs.

Yes there have been crashed craft, and bodies recovered.

. . . We are not alone in the universe, they have been coming here for a long time.

. . . I happen to be privileged enough to be in on the fact that we have been visited

on this planet, and the UFO phenomenon is real.

Doctor Edgar Mitchell, sixth man to walk on the moon

I elaborate on that discussion in a recent article, if youre interested:

Its Official, We Know That UFOs or UAP Are Real, So Are They Extraterrestrial or

Not?

Quetzalcoatl Ancient history is fascinating to say the

least, and weve discovered so much about it.

But, at the same time, we still know very little about Earths history and even the

history of humanity.

One of the most fascinating points to make about ancient history is that much of which

was once considered mythological, is actually turning out to be true.

Perhaps information that didnt fit within our framework of accepted knowledge was deemed

mythological?

How can we take seriously the writings of ancient Greek philosophers when describing

social life and other aspects of humanity, yet when it comes to other areas of the world,

like the Oracle at Delphi, they are placed in a the mythological realm?

Perhaps some was mythological, but perhaps some of what we call mythological was actually

real.

Another great example is the Lost Land of Atlantis, a highly technologically advanced

civilization that would shake what we thought we knew of human history, its not so much

a tale anymore, and its one of many examples that show what weve been taught may not

be completely correct.

For anybody who has done their research in this area, its quite clear given the evidence

we now have, that Atlantis was far from a mythological place.

Given our research on Atlantis, and many scholars out there, Atlantis is no joke, and perhaps

before that, Lemuria as well.

This is why when it comes to stories of figures like Quetzalcoatl, its always interesting

to contemplate that they were real.

The video footage mentioned above, which was released by the Pentagon, was done so in conjunction

with To The Stars Academy headed by Tom Delonge, along with Luis Elizondo (mentioned earlier),

and several other figures whove held high level positions within the Department of Defence.

The Pentagon is working with the academy in the disclosure of UFOs.

That in itself is a completely different discussion with many implications.

Its hard to trust the government these days, so can we really trust them with UFO

disclosure and what that means?

Will leave this for another time.

Delonge recently made some interesting comments about his experiences so far, and the contacts

hes been able to make, and the discussions that have been had.

Tom states in a Podcast with Joe Rogan:

I went and met a former director of the CIA and NSARight when I sat down and told

him about the book you know what he says to me?

He goes, I didnt read much science fiction when I was a kid but I read a lot about Greek

mythologyThe sixth biggest defense contractor in the world is a company called Science Applications

International Corporation (SAIC)and in the front of the building (SAICs headquarters)

you have an obelisk coming out of a fake leg and two Atlantians on thrones, and theyre

both holding pyramids and one says the past and one says the future, and theyre 8 foot

tall statues.

Interesting, isnt it?

So, who was Quetzalcoatl?

Considered to be a mythical tale, Spanish chronicler Juan de Torquemada states that

Quetzalcoatl was a fair and ruddy complexioned man with a long beard.

Another describes him as follows:

A mysterious persona white man with strong formation of body, broad forehead,

large eyes, and a flowing beard.

He was dressed in a long, white robe reaching to his feet.

He condemned sacrifices, except of fruits and flowers, and was known as the god of peaceWhen

addressed on the subject of war he is reported to have stopped up his ears with his fingers.

(source)

Graham Hancock, one of the worlds foremost researchers into such things, describes another

description from Central American Mayan tradition in his book, Fingerprints of the Gods:

He came from across the sea in a boat that moved by itself without paddles.

He was a tall, bearded white man who taught people to use fire for cooking.

He also built houses and showed couples that they could live together as husband and wife;

and since people often quarrelled in those days, he taught them to live in peace.

This figure is spoken of the Mesoamerican culture.

Its interesting because there are multiple accounts of various figures, not just Quetzalcoatl,

all of which seemed to have provided humanity with a little push, here and there,

and assistance with regards to discovery.

Nothing was really done for humanity, it seemed that the common theme through all of these

contacts was for us to better ourselves, and be responsible for our own progression, with

a little bit of assistance.

Not all of the gods were kind, loving and peaceful.

There were others who required sacrifices, and seemed to almost be a little opposite

of ones like Quetzalcoatl.

Whats also interesting is that the descriptions of Quetzalcoatl resemble modern day descriptions

of some, supposed extraterrestrial beings.

Those who have examined the lore, like myself, would know this.

Could these have been who we consider today, benevolent extraterrestrial beings?

Perhaps.

Ancient history, along with many ancient cultures who pre-date modern-day religion, all have

very interesting stories which can easily be interpreted has highly advanced beings

from another place.

The idea that these are just mere interpretations seem to be dwindling every year.

Being an avid researcher in the field for more than a decade, I can tell you that extraterrestrial

intelligence is just the tip of the iceberg.

It truly does open up Pandoras box, and there is much more to this universal story,

so much so that we probably couldnt even comprehend it.

The evidence today points to the idea that weve been visited for a long time, so to

contemplate the idea that these were extraterrestrial visits is not out of the question.

There are objects in our atmosphere which are technically miles in advance of anything

we can deploy, that we have no means of stopping them coming here [and] that there is a

serious possibility that we are being visited and have been visited for many years by people

from outer space, from other civilizations.Who they are, where they come from, and what they

want.

This should be the subject of rigorous scientific investigation and not the subject of rubishing

by tabloid newspapers.

Navy, Chairman of the NATO Military Committee (source)

If they have been here as well as visiting us for a long time, thats good news.

It takes out the idea of an extraterrestrial invasion, because, if that were the case,

it would have already happened by now.

The meaning of Quetzalcoatl is feathered serpent, this is the translation that comes

from ancient South America, from the Maya and the Aztecs.

In Hancocks book, he goes on to describe how there were other entities who resembled

Quetzalcoatl quite closely:

There were other deities, among the Maya in particular, whose identities seemed to

merge closely with those of Quetzalcoatl.

One was Votan, a great civilizer, who was also described as pale-skinned, bearded and

wearing a long robe.

Sholars could offer no translation for his name but his principal symbol, like that of

Quetzalcoatl, was a serpent.

Another closely related figure was Itzamana, the Mayan god of healing, who was robed and

bearded individual, his symbol, too, was the rattlesnake.

Graham, in his book, goes on to state:

All of the legends stated unambiguously that Quetzalcoatl/Kukulkan/Gucumatz/Votan/Itzamana

had arrived in Central America from some-where very far away (across the Eastern Sea)

and that amid great sadness he had eventually sailed off again in the direction whence he

had come.

This is an interested quote, and relates closely to a sentiment shared by a First Nations Canadian

storyteller, Richard Wagamese:

My people tell of Star People who came to us many generations ago.

The Star people brought spiritual teachings and stories and maps of the cosmos and they

offered these freely.

They were kind, loving and set a great example.

When they left us, my people say there was a loneliness like no other. (source)

Interesting to think about.

These are versions of history that old more plausibility to them than the ones we currently

consider concrete.

As we continue to move forward exponentially, perhaps our destiny is in the stars and we

ourselves one day will be the extraterrestrials, or perhaps we already are.
