Youtube daily report Sep 28 2018

sooji cheela, a savory pancake, is a delicious North Indian breakfast and snack dish

ingredients & quantities needed are listed in the description box

oil for frying

1 cup fine semolina

2 tbsp curd, whisked to make smooth

1 cup water

1 tsp ginger paste

2 chopped green chilies

1 finely chopped onion

1/4 tsp red chili powder

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp garam masala

1/2 tsp coriander powder

first, we will prepare the batter for making the cheela

in a bowl, add the sooji and all other ingredients except for the oil & water

Mix till these combine well

the semolina you use should be fine

add in the water and stir till a lump-free batter forms

mix for about 2 minutes

we had missed adding cilantro so we will add it now, about 2 tbsp of it. mix it in the batter

the cheela batter is ready. cover it and let it rest for 30 minutes

after 30 minutes check the batter as the semolina absorbs water and the batter may have thickened

if the batter has thickened add a little water and stir again till becomes a slightly thick pouring consistency batter again

our batter is of the right consistency. we will just stir it nicely a few times and start making the cheela

keep a non stick pan on medium heat.

add about 1/2 a tsp of oil and spread it. let it get hot

the pan is hot. add about 1 large spoon of batter on the pan. spread the batter but keep it a bit thick. keep heat on medium-low

do not spread the batter thin

pour a little oil on the cheela and let the cheela cook

for a minute or two till the underside is a bit brown

check the underside by lifting the cheela carefully

when done flip the cheela by freeing it around the edges first

brush some oil around it and cook this side till it is done similarly

keep checking the underside as before till it is done.lightly press the cheela on top so it gets done faster

the cheela is done. remove to a plate

similarly make the other cheela

these ingredients will make 5 cheela. we have made 3 and will make the rest later

we will flip over the chilla and show how the other side looks

you can see this side of the cheela is also cooked well.

serve the sooji ka cheela hot with green chutney or coconut chutney. do try it and give your feedback

I Want SUCCESS: Ep 72 Soul Reflections: BK Shivani (Hindi) - Duration: 29:25.

Greetings and welcome to Awakening With Brahma Kumaris.

Sister Shivani is with us. Welcome, Sister.

Om Shanti.

Om Shanti and welcome to Soul Reflections.

Thank you.

There is a beautiful quote on success.

Success is not about how much money you make.

It is about the difference you make in people's lives.

Perfect and that is what we have been trying to see in the last few episodes.

Many of our belief systems which are very deep rooted

But we have not paused and checked whether they are right or not.

We got them from our elders, from our environment

We learnt from somewhere.

We adopted it and made it our way of living.

And we continue to live with that belief system.

Why is belief system very important?

Because thoughts are created by belief systems.

Ok.

There are three sources for the thoughts that we create.

The three sources are information, past experiences and belief systems.

Past experiences can be of the previous birth of the present birth.

By doing something in the past I got a particular result.

Out of that past experience I created thoughts every time.

If that experience was pleasant I created a pleasant thought.

Otherwise I created an unpleasant thought.

So past experience plays a powerful role. Information also is very powerful.

And third is belief system.

With these 3 as the sources, thoughts are created.

From thoughts we create perception, attitude, action

Habit, personality, destiny.

So we're moving from belief system to destiny.

Even if one belief system is not right

Its effect will go all the way up to our destiny.

Last time we explored about happiness and found that

At every moment what is happiness dependent on?

On how we think in that situation.

But what was our earlier belief system? What was our happiness dependent on, as per it?

Outside.

Because of one wrong belief system what showed up in our destiny?

We were always looking for our happiness outside.

In objects, in travelling, in processing or in achieving

Because that was the belief system.

So what happened to the destiny is that we sought everything outside

And we did not pay attention to our thoughts.

Because it was not in our belief system that

Happiness is based on what thoughts I create.

Now we have changed this belief system.

And now we have fit it in the first stage as

Happiness is based on the thought we create at every moment in every situation.

Response to every situation and to every person

That determines happiness.

The moment we set this belief system there will be an impact on the entire chain.

Situations will arise but where will our focus be?

On our thoughts. That we should think right and send the right vibrations to the other person.

So I need to check and change my thoughts.

Destiny changes because of just one belief system.

Destiny changes by remaining stable.

The same situations may come again but we are happy.

We are stable.

Destiny has changed.

Based on belief system.

Likewise success.

You ask anyone including a small child, what they want in life. They want to be successful.

So I want to be successful is the need.

It is a requirement of every human being.

But if we do not check our belief system about what success means

And if we do not set it properly

It will also affect our destiny.

Wanting success is very good, just like wanting happiness.

But where was my happiness? In my every thought

To the way I responded to situations. This why not aware.

We thought happiness is here outside.

We searched for it outside and created a certain destiny.

Now let us fill in the blank - success is?

Where do we say success lies?

Career, earning money, building a house.

If we go by this belief system about what success means

That success means earning more, Rising in career, achieving more

In acquiring name and fame

If my belief system says success is this

And my deep desire is that I want to be successful

Both of them are set

Desire that I want success.

And the second line - what is success?

Achieving all these.

This is a programming on the soul.

If we do this programming

One is that I want success.

Second line - what is success?

The more marks I score, the more money I earn

More than others, and be number one

The further I go and achieve in my field - that is success.

If this is my belief system

Where will our focus be on, throughout our life?

Career and money and achievements.

The one who has more, the one who is ahead of others - he is more successful.

Belief system.

When this was the belief system, in which year were field we were

Any field, any profession or even a child at school

Wherever we were, what was our perspective throughout the day?

It was that we should go ahead of others.

Because that was perceived as success.

So everyone who was working with me or studying with me

They all became my competitors.

Not just competition, but there was almost a rivalry with them.

Because of two people believe

That success is based on who goes ahead of whom

So both of them will want to go ahead of each other.

If one manages to go a little ahead

The other will not feel nice about it.

And he will be ready to do anything to overtake the first person.

Correct.

He will not like the one who is ahead of him.

So what are the words that came into our vocabulary? Comparison

Competition and jealousy.

All these came because of one belief system.

The belief that the one who is ahead is the one who is successful.

This one belief system created all these words.

And now if we check these words

Comparison, competition, rivalry, jealousy

All of them will deplete soul power.

Why does comparison deplete soul power?

All the time we were thinking of what the other person is doing

And in the process we forgot the original soul qualities.

And our own specialties, virtues, qualities, skills and capacity

You cannot remain stable because all the time you are involved in comparison.

In the film industry, some people read articles about other artists. They don't read articles written about themselves.

The engage people to find out what other actors are up to - who has got a role, who is making a movie, who is beginning the new production

Who is doing well - all the time the focus is on the other person.

When the focus shifts from our self to other people

And whatever other people are doing, just to go ahead of them

We start living the way they are living.

Suppose one person is running this way and another is also doing the same thing.

If one of them has cheated and is running

And the second person wants to overtake him

Then he will also adopt the same technique of cheating.

He will also cheat.

By doing that, soul power reduces.

When we compare ourselves with people

What happens to our specialties, skills and talents?

We will not appreciate these things. But whatever we see in the other person

We will get busy trying to copy them.

Because we want to go ahead of that person.

If we had used our specialties

We don't know how far ahead we would have reached.

There is another subtle aspect

If I have scored 2 marks less than somebody

I am behind him

I feel inferior.

And I develop an inferiority complex. I question - how come he has a 100 crore worth business, whereas mine is only worth 90 crores

Very important.

Does it mean I am not that good?

Which means the person is not happy even after doing a business worth of 90 crore rupees.

Because he is not ahead of somebody else.

Why is he not happy?

Because of the belief system that

The one who is ahead of others is successful.

What can this do to the soul?

Disturbed, totally disturbed.

Whoever holds this belief system

The more ahead you are of others, the more successful you are

That soul can never be contented.

How can he be contented?

Contentment can never come.

Because that soul will always remain in fear and insecurity.

Even if he is the number one

He will still fear or feel insecure that somebody else might get ahead of him.

So he cannot be happy or contented despite being the number one.

He will not be powerful despite being number one.

Because fear will be a constant companion of that person.

I met a very popular actor

He asked me if I was going for a shooting. I told him I was going to enjoy dinner with my family.

He said he was going for a shooting.

I asked him if he was leaving for shooting at 10 p.m.?

I asked him why he was working so hard despite achieving so much.

He said what if other people will get ahead of him.

The fear that other actors may get ahead of him.

Deep, deep, deep ingrained belief system.

These are the words of many of us.

That when people get ahead of me then they are more successful than me.

We were once doing a workshop for a company.

We asked them what is the cause of their stress.

When they are number one in the industry then what is the stress about?

That they always want to remain at number 1 every year.

So they are stressed about it.

So we created a hypothetical situation for them.

We asked them what is their target for the next year.

X amount is the target for next year.

We told them to visualise that the target of X which they have set for next year

Visualise that day I achieve double of that amount.

They were suddenly very happy.

Because they had X in mind but achieved the double.

Visualise how are you feeling - happy.

But somebody else has achieved more than you and you are not number one.

Visualise how are you feeling.

Very confused.

They were looking at Each Other not knowing how to react. They have achieved double the target.

But they are not the first.

Should they be happy or unhappy about it?

Somebody else achieve more than our double target.

But we achieved twice of what we had planned.

The potential and capacity which we had imagined that we have

We achieved double of that.

The target we had set and the marks that had expected to score in this examination.

I scored more than that.

But somebody else scored more than what I scored.

Now I don't know if I should be happy or not.

Because my belief system says they are more successful than me.

Definition. And by doing this

Soul power gets depleted and we will remain jealous.

When we are jealous of somebody

Every thought that radiates to that person from us

It will not make that soul happy or peaceful.

In a very subtle sense we hold a desire

That they should somehow get behind.

Having a desire that somebody should lag behind

Wanting that they face an obstacle on their path

Or that they give up - if we have such a desire

If we feel uncomfortable or bad to see them progress

Or if we think they don't deserve whatever they got

That I deserve more than them

What kind of Karma are all these?

Bad Karma.

What is the original nature of the soul?

Caring and cooperation.

Cooperation and competition are completely opposite words.

If we are in competition with somebody we will not co-operate with them.

Some people spend money to bribe someone

To get a licence

And someone else said - I will pay you what you want, but you should delay that person's licence.

What Karmic account is getting created?

What do these Karma send thoughts do to the soul?

When we understand that happiness is a feeling experienced by I the soul

I the soul experience peace

I the soul experience respect

Likewise I the soul experience success.

We have associated the word success with - having plenty of something.

It is true that success means somebody has plenty.

Who is the 'I' who needs to have plenty to be successful?

Who is that 'I'?

I am not sure if it is the soul or the body.

Who am I? I, the soul.

I want to be successful.

I is not the name anymore, it is 'my' name.

'I' is not the name or the profession.

I want to excel in my profession is a beautiful thing.

I want success.

I want a lot of success, I want to be filled with success.

Who is that 'I'?

I the soul.

Let everyone of us visualise - pause and check

I the soul should be successful.

Visualise what it should contain - three words - I, Soul, Success.

For the Soul what qualifies as success?

For the Soul it will be that I will be very very very successful in my business.

When a businessman acquired more and more in his profession, we called that as success.

What will be success for the soul?

By sharing soul qualities like love, peace

Power, knowledge, bliss

As these qualities increase

When I come back to those original qualities

So when will we say the soul is successful?

When a soul has these seven qualities in abundance.

Success means a Soul having high soul power.

Which means that soul has

Love, happiness, peace

Wisdom and purity in abundance

That soul is filled with soul power

That soul is full and abundant

So success for soul will be based on

How happy will the person be then.

Yes, we saw that he will be happy.

She will be so joyful when the soul is full and abundant with such qualities.

Full of happiness, love, compassion

Full of power and knowledge

How happy would he be.

But today we said the person who has a huge bank balance

He will be successful.

A person who has the power of position

He will be successful.

A person who has several degrees of qualification

He will be successful.

A person who has several objects of comfort

He will be successful.

But now when we look at soul and success we understand that

A person who doesn't have a very good bank balance

But he has a big treasure of soul qualities.

A person who has a big treasure of blessings he has earned from other people

We need to earn blessings.

Because the money we earn will take care of this body and things related to it.

But how will soul qualities improve?

When we earn blessings from people.

And also when you are connected to God.

That is when soul qualities will increase.

But after connecting to god we need to do Karmas which

Which will earn blessings from others.

That is why the quote you read says - success is not about how much you have achieved here

Success is about the difference you have made in other people's life.

It means from the Treasure you have within you

How many souls in the world did you give happiness, love and peace?

And made a difference in their life

And in return you earned so many blessings

In proportion to that you are successful.

I remembered a point as we are discussing. You said success is

About how much difference you make in other people's life

If I achieve success in business by destroying somebody's life

And I am successful in business

I am making the opposite of difference in somebody's life.

I am spoiling the life of another person.

And that means I am going towards the opposite of success.

Because what happens to Soul power with that?

Because by that Karma what happens to Soul power?

It gets depleted. That means the inner Treasure of the soul here is depleting

The Treasure outside is increasing.

The Treasure inside is decreasing.

The bank balance is increasing outside but internally we are getting emptier.

Are we successful? No.

When we were getting depleted here, we radiated those vibrations here.

The body started becoming ill.

When we were getting depleted here, conflicts in relationship increased

Relationships got affected.

When we were getting depleted here, vibrations radiated to the world.

The world started becoming Tamasik.

And while all this was happening the soul left the body in a moment.

So what did the soul carry along with it?

What a bad Karmic account it carried with it.

Can we call this soul successful?

Whose ever business he spoiled, got their licences delayed

People take away managers from one organisation into theirs.

They lure them with twice the salary and take away efficient technicians or other staff from one organisation.

Even if somebody doesn't go to that extreme

But even if we do not create right thoughts towards somebody

If we do not feel good looking at somebody's progress

If we feel jealous

And if we create low self esteem

What will happen to the success of the soul after all this?

I was reading in a magazine about a person

He kept earning and earning. He was stressed and tired of doing so much to remain among the top 100 wealthiest

He was going mad to maintain his status.

Finally he donated everything that he had.

He just gave up everything, went somewhere and lived in peace.

Again, it does not mean that we have to stop achieving.

We need to achieve a lot.

But we need to remember the definition of success.

We can say - today I have this position, this name

I have a bank balance of this much, today I have this turnover in my business.

It's all very good.

Achieve more.

But while achieving all this we need to check

Am I the soul, successful?

Success does not depend on the balance I have outside

My success depends on the balance I have here of my original soul qualities

When we remember this, even while we do everything else outside

We will take care of this - what is happening inside.

But somebody added into the belief system

Scoring more marks, having a higher turnover - that is success

We had stopped taking care of here.

All our attention went outwards.

If we remember that success means how full we are internally

One who is full here will be able to give them to everyone

If somebody is scoring more marks than me

I will not have a problem here inside

Because I know what is the definition of success.

So I will say - I am successful

He or she has got more marks than me.

I will not say he or she is more successful than me.

So the belief system itself changes.

The way we live will change.

So when we remember that a successful soul

Is one who is full here and gives his inner treasure to other people.

But when our vocabulary was the opposite - we said successful is one who accumulates a lot outside

Actually successful is one who goes on giving whatever he has within him inside here.

If we remember about success here

We would have cooperated with everyone in our life

We would take others also forward

Because they are going ahead, would not feel like we have failed.

You would have felt it is our success that we have helped them go ahead.

We would have felt good.

But if we thought success means being ahead of others

Then be prevented others from going ahead of us.

And by doing that what did we do to the success of the soul?

We depleted it.

Pause - stop - check - change

Let us today understand and change the definition of success for our self.

We cannot change the definition created by the society

We can change our belief system.

Our destiny will change.

Today for parent or a leader of an organisation sets a correct the definition of success for themselves

They can change the belief system and destiny of their children or their organisation.

Thank you so much, Sister.

Om Shanti.

Om Shanti.

Thank you.

kit build on a cold day - Duration: 33:35.

it snowed last night it's September and it snowed so I'm gonna hide out here in

my shop with a nice warm a cup of drink and a nice hot soldering iron and I'm

going to build a kit course the question is which one so I think I'm going to go

blindfold mode and into the bin and pull out this one what is this one

well let's find out okay what we got here he's got one I see in a pot and

handful of other bits and bobs well we can get a knob okay

don't need that anymore so what does this board say yeah duty psycho and

distortion may be the course and a fine adjustment and oh right I remember now

that kind of gives it away this is a test pattern generator it can do square

waves and triangle waves and sine waves meet so that chip must be a function

generator or a signal generator easier to read if it was right-side up focus

you know very good in the assortment of parts down here you know a terminal

block we have the ten turn potentiometer 502 5505 pillar or five K ohms I think

our is it 1:21

to check that got any single turn trimmer pot thank god it's the normal

potentiometer what that knob goes on so that will be I assume the frequency

adjustment the course frequency adjustment and then yeah okay and then

that tin turn part will be a 5k there it is there and these other two pots like

that ones at 20k and that one's 100k are they marked no but I can measure them

alright huh that's this clamped up and start soldering the only thing I'm

disappointed in so far is that there's no socket for mr. chip maybe you know

dig into my what is this 2 4 6 7 14 kinship let me see what I got in stock

lame I'm not offended by soldering directly onto it but why risk damaging

it with my crappy soldering let us quickly take the time to grab the

datasheet for this thing it is an IC L 803 8 which is a precision waveform

generator voltage controlled oscillator

and apparently from inner cell or the original manufacturer is it our Reni

sass I guess it is no longer manufactured by them this one that I've

gotten may or may not be one of theirs it might be an aftermarket doesn't

matter what does it have to say for itself the frequency can be selected

from point zero zero one Hertz to up to 300 K which is more than enough for most

of the things that I'm doing features low frequency drift low distortion high

linearity wide frequency range variable duty cycle that's good and it can drive

up to 28 volts output Wow so the chip itself p1 is a sine wave

adjustment pin to is sine revote pin three is a triangle wave out duty cycle

and frequency adjustment on 4 + 5 v + input frequency modulation bias to know

connects sine wave adjustment V - or ground timing FM sweep input and a

square wave output that's kind of neat and internally there it is supply

voltage maximum 36 volts output current sync twenty five milliamps supply

voltage minimum single supply is 10 volts maximum 30 volts can you'll have

to remember that I'll probably run it on 12 ish or so and there's what's going on

inside it oh it's if you want to build your own

the hard way some design tips on reducing distortion and how to select

the various resistors what I'm not going to concern myself with that because we

have already got that figured out by the kit manufacturer if it doesn't work I'll

come back in here and do it the hard way but for now let's just trust that

they're not completely useless alright so we know a little bit more about that

chip I do have some 14 pin dip sockets which I think I will put one on you for

a mechanically fit right so let's decide what to put on first thinking oh I see

it diode in here what is he doing I didn't notice a diode on the on the

datasheet that diode is a reverse protection diode nicely done get makers

you can't screw up and put the put the power in the wrong way okay we'll get

that in there I'm doing you no particular order okay so we have a

capacitor there c104 a little sorry what is that c1 it so a 104 c2 and c3 okay so

there's two 104 caps of the Oh little ceramic variety that's those two guys

I'm gonna poke in a bunch of components just so I don't still keep flipping back

and forth you could do it in a different way if you wanted to but I'm not too

concerned if you wanted to say build part of the circuit and then tinker with

it and build part more and change it I don't think I'm gonna do that this is

just if fun a little weekend kit build so there's a few components in grab my

advice I don't have many places this is one of them one thing I like about this

it's got the grooves in the jaws it that's really for grabbing onto round

stock but it works really well for grabbing on to a board and holding it I

don't have one of those fancy little board holder things like I've seen some

guys on YouTube use I do have one on order but it's not here yet so I'm not

too concerned about it okay so let's just get started I guess

this is the diode and I'm using this little lamb I mean this little chisel

tip it's not the finest tip that I have for my iron but it's a little bit bigger

for through-hole work and if I was doing surface mount I would probably put this

tip back on but for through-hole work this one's just fine

I was actually doing some desoldering a little while ago on something that's why

I put the bigger tip on and I just stuck with it because it's not that big a deal

this certainly is gonna take enough board for it to matter okay it's those

two guys and that's this other capacitor over here there we go

grappling cutters

there's those guys nothing shorted okay what should we put on next

Jeevan led that's marked as d2 on there there's the flat spot that side can't so

I'm going to guess that that goes yeah probably have a resistor in series with

it okay so I'll put the LED and I'm gonna

put the other two ceramic caps in there one of them is booked at 102 and ones a

103 there's the world 3 there's the 102 so which one is this and my fingers no

that's the 103 just c4 yeah I like these and I'd like to see the schematic of it

but this is gonna be pretty close to what we saw on the datasheet and the

board's got the silkscreen with all the values on it and everything so I'm not

too stressed again if things go horribly wrong we can always troubleshoot so the

two little ceramic capacitors which are in parallel with each other so what are

you guys doing smoothing and decoupling

probably well they're not exactly in parallel well they're not at all they go

- that's ship that's one of the parts okay between one of the pots and a bus

that's better get better heat transfer and keep the angering nice and clean and

then this led so that's that's one of the power inputs up there these two had

power inputs I think no wait let's just see what's going on here so that's the

ground and that's the sunny so the ground is this trace here which those

two caps go to ground this little cap here that we saw it an arrow goes to

ground one side of the LED goes to ground and then it connects up to the V

- and then the V pus is there and that's the diode okay

so here is the led

wow that's really standing off that's okay I'm not doing this for beauty

points I just want to have a functional thing

and this guy won't look at PWM generator that I pulled out of my mailbag a week

or so ago we'll just add to my supply of test things okay what are their

capacitors do we have there's an electrolytic there it is that says 100

micro farad that's his 220 micro farad's

remember I said I trust these guys well

okay so the negative voltage Ian in the ground are in parallel and this

capacitor just across the negative on positive all the trucking so that is

just power supply smoothing so it doesn't matter that it's a it's a larger

capacitor then what the board silkscreen says it'll actually do a better job or

at least better at taking out large fluctuations anyway so what next

find some resistors so there is a zoom in here so we have one 10k there 110 key

there 110 key to go 310 case that's 200 old them 1 2 3 4

33 Ches all right

310 Ches okay that's those guys 1 200 oh and 433 k ok so that's those guys and I

think I've mentioned this many times before that I am somewhat colorblind but

I'm going to I'm pretty confident that those are the 33 caves up there and

there's three of those guys will be the ten keys there's my 200 ohms I was

fairly confident than that

so my 10k just gonna stuff these guys all in I think I'll start up at the top

here just just cuz I am going to bend the lead over in the direction that the

trace goes away from the pad just to keep it kind of orderly so it doesn't

cause problems later potentially it's not a big deal it's just

hmm see if I get a little bit big um blobby like that it's not overhanging

adjacent trace now it's just on top of its own trace so that's not a big

problem now we keep the tip clean

I'm not even doing this yeah that's starting to get a little bit you know

forest in there so I'll just clean some of these out of the way let's see what

I'm doing that's the one disadvantage of stuffing a bunch of components in

simultaneously so it kind of gets in your way a little bit later on but it's

not a big deal he said that one since they both want to bend the same

direction I'm just going to do one first and then I'll hold it now they're the

other one and the last one this guy's just hanging off the end of that chip

socket try not to get too obsessive amount of solder in here but you can

also go to light which isn't gonna help anybody out either okay that's all the

capacitors and fixed resistors and diodes next let's put in well let's put

in the chip I mean the socket so the divot goes that way these sockets also

have a divot on them now this one going to have to use the you tube solder errs

favorite technique blue tack or blue sticky generic stuff yes of course this

isn't branded boo tack this is from the dollar store

let's pick up the four corners to hold it in place and then there's quickly

baying these off

walking again okay where's the socket on the boot Tech didn't get goopy that's

good right let's put in the ten turn pot and it doesn't really matter which way

up it goes but there's a little one section two sections so I'll put it that

way with the screw at that end it really doesn't matter because the white period

comes down the middle anyway

okay those guys a little bit uh what else swords a big pot which is also a 5k

according to silkscreen on the board goes in there

and I think I'm going to nudge those little mechanical grippers in i'll

solder them first they're gonna take a lot of heat let that's I'm just pushing

on the back of it to reflow that so that it goes into place well for those ones

they're not an electrical connection there's the mechanical connection you

don't have to fill the hole and I decided not to but they are making a

mechanical connection now so they're doing their job there's the little

switch which is frequency range low and high I'm guessing and it's just a

single-pole double-throw switch and again it's got two little mechanical

weeds on the end of it

a 104 and a 203 okay 104 is one a zero and four more zeros so that would be 100

K which also says 104 right on it and the other on 203 20 K yep

that is the duty or duty cycle for the square waves I'm guessing because sine

waves don't really have a duty cycle

so boat all that's left only one thing left to solder actually and that is the

connection pins but again oh it's wrong punch it in there so this one actually

the two ends the negative voltage in the ground

which are the same that that whole trace it wraps around there they also have

three little tags of solder or of a copper they glow it onto the ground

plane so that's that's nice that just keeps noise down by having that ground

point everywhere not that it's a big hairy deal in this

thing because it's gonna kilohertz range literally hundreds of kilohertz but

still if it was going up into the very high kilohertz and into the megahertz

into RF range and a ground plane would be a very good idea did I get those off

yeah it looks like they're all making connection just one more inspection here

everything's got solder I don't see any solder bridges right that chimp pins are

a little bit caddywhompus or not too bad but you know did of an alignment there

not too bad that way okay the notches on that end dot four pin one notches on

that end so I'm just but one row of pins in and it's to push the chip against

that to get the second row in make sure they're all nothing's hanging off the

edges and just push it down nice and evenly

joke there it is all right no to test okay a little bit time is past I got my

test setup set up here like 12 volts on the power supply oh forgot about this

guy critically important get the knob on there right yeah I think so that's the

frequency knob according to the information on the board anyway um so

I've got el cheapo scope set up here on little kickstand and I just recently put

together hallways paused power supply connected to positive a negative at the

ground of the scope connected to the ground so when you turn the power supply

on and got a power LED that's an excellent start okay so these two pots

set on all the pots pretty much set to the middle this one I've got this

fine-tuning that set about the middle of its range and I mean the high range here

for frequency so oh let's go on to the square wave oh come on

automatic stuff um there we go that should be a lot easier for you guys to

see - I've made some changes my camera it's an auto exposure so when i zoom

back out from the black background of that it's gonna get a little weird but

whatever at least you can see this now so right now our square wave 50 ish

percent duty cycle which makes sense because at that pot set in the middle

voltage peak to peak is 11 volts that's pretty close to rail-to-rail since I'm

running 12 volts what else so I'm at two point three seven something kill Urtz

and that's with the pot set in the middle position I'm gonna crank that up

to maximum and scope now that is two point eight four

six I'm just going to go in and tweak the finetuner up should be about five

turns I'm hoping if it's ten turn puck

what's that six point one five one okay now I'm gonna flip the high or low range

switch to low five hundred and ninety six and I'll crank the pot down as low

as it'll go and then off scale so let me just change the scale and the scope here

what's wrong way change of time based on the scope I guess there you go fifty

Hertz oh look at that non-linearity down there that's disturbing I wonder if the

distortion part does anything about that you know I'm thinking the distortion

part has to do with sine waves okay well that's not super awesome we're going to

a 50 Hertz Oh what so let's change don't you know I'm gonna crank that back up so

you can see the hood hmm okay where were we before my kickstand fell over so

right now yeah I'm gonna start tweaking the duty cycle pot right now it's kind

of in the middle go down to the bottom 67% go to the top 23% okay but I hadn't

really expected this thing to be a PWM generator anyway that's what this thing

is for which is exactly a square wave frequency and duty cycle so I'm not too

stressed by that so that's all right for square waves where is it

yeah real let's move on to triangle and sine waves I'm going to just bump that

sensitivity up a little bit so there's the triangle wave and again I

will tweak the various parts and locks but the duty Seiko

oh yeah it goes from just a straight up-and-down triangle wave to more of a

sawtooth wave that's interesting with the debts with the duty cycle part let's

try the distortion part that doesn't really do anything and of course the

frequency so that's the top of the low range which is was at 570 and again down

to 50 ish which is pretty much there you oh that's curious there's that

distortion part you see that zero crossing yeah that's interesting

does the distortion pot do anything about that

not really so a triangle waves not SuperDuper linear that's the duty cycle

up in the kilohertz that's not super duper leaning it's got a little kick in

it that's disappointing let's go back down into the middle of the range so

that is coming out of there and what is it it is out of focus sorry so that's

coming out of there at three volts peak-to-peak or as a square wave was 11

volts peak-to-peak okay now a sine wave so I leave is 2.3 volts peak-to-peak

it's a little bit distorted too in the middle now this has changed the

distortion part well that's disappointing let's go back down to the

low range and get changed a tiny base of the scope again so there is something

it's not it's not a perfect sine wave hmm I wonder how it sounds I was hoping

to use this for testing audio amplifiers and I was hoping to get

relatively clean sign leave out of it this isn't that

yeah that's not performance that's that maybe inaudible this is a 4 kilohertz

that's not going to be a huge thing but it's still not what I was hoping for

Oh duty cycle does affect the sine wave too I mean the zoom mode so we can see a

couple of sine waves so there's the duty cycle roughly in the middle okay so it

doesn't lean it around a little bit that's pretty much a little okay well

it's not not the best most accurate most precise thing in the world but I think

it is a little bit cleaner waveforms then this guy was giving me but I so

I've got to signal sources now this one you may recall it's a 555 timer and then

it just uses these RC filters to knock out the high frequency components out of

the square wave to create sawtooth and then a triangle wave and then event or a

sine wave and as it goes through those passive filters the amplitude just gets

a lower and lower through each stage this one at least it's relatively

consistent on the triangle and the sine wave four levels the square wave of

course is it's still hitting rail-to-rail

but I don't know it was a fun we'll get to build anyway thanks for watching

preciate you stopping by questions and comments as always down in the comment

section yeah thanks for stopping by I'll talk to you later

Revealed: The real reason why Spurs star Harry Kane was released by Arsenal as a youngster - Duration: 2:46.

Former Arsenal midfielder Nico Yennaris has explained the reason behind Harry Kane's departure as a kid

It might come as a surprise to some but the Tottenham Hotspur was once on the books at their north London rivals but things didn't quite work out and he was released as a youngster

Kane was part of the Gunners' under-8's team alongside Yennaris, but whilst the latter was kept on for a few more years the former had to leave in order to become the world class striker he is now

Arsenal's loss has proven to be the Lilywhites' gain as he's gone on to net over 100 times for Mauricio Pochettino's side and has been backed to become the Premier League's all-time leading scorer should he stay in England

Many have wondered what led to Kane's Arsenal release and Yennaris has revealed that Benik Afobe played a huge role

It's amazing to see where Harry Kane has gone and what he's gone on to do," Yennaris told the Daily Mirror

"But you never know and it's about getting an opportunity and grabbing it with both hands

That's what he did and he's never looked back."To be fair, when they let him go, we were so young so nobody knew where we would end up and how far we could really go

At my age group, for a lot of the time, it was more about Benik Afobe because he was a main man in our team at the time

But I have got so many good memories from my time there and I've got no regrets at all

I left Arsenal on good terms, with the staff and everybody there. It's exciting for me, it's my first time back as a player but I've been back as a fan — my dad is a season ticket holder and I go whenever I can and he's got a spare ticket

"I'm desperate to play (on Wednesday), of course. I've had so many requests. The lads have bantered me a lot! I've got to block it out, play the game rather than the occasion

I'll just enjoy going back but focus on my game

Vaginal Dryness And Yeast Infections - Duration: 12:11.

>> Susan Bratton: Hi, I'm Susan Bratton.

Your trusted hot sex adviser.

And I'm here with my friend Dr. Jolene Brighten.

And Jolene and I are talking today about all of these things that happen to your vagina

when you take birth control and what you can do to reverse them.

So things like vaginal dryness, recurrent yeast infections, and the worst of all painful

sex.

So let's start with...

Do you want to start with vaginal dryness?

How you want to do it?

Top down?

What's the best way?

>> Dr. Jolene B: I think we can just dive on in.

They're all very much connected.

>> Susan Bratton: They are.

>> Dr. Jolene B: And it's something I think it's compartmentalized like "No, only young

girls get yeast infections and only old ladies they get vaginal dryness.

>> Susan Bratton: Old ladies get vaginal dryness.

Exactly.

>> Dr. Jolene B: And actually a lot of my patients who are on hormonal birth control

complain of vaginal dryness and one thing is, is how does the birth control pill or

any of these synthetic hormonal birth control options work.

>> Susan Bratton: And let's list what this synthetic hormonal birth control options are.

>> Dr. Jolene B.: So we've got the pill, we've got the patch, we've got the IUD.

We've got the implant.

We've got the shot.

And we've got the NuvaRing as well.

And so with all of those.

They are really working by stopping how your brain is talking to your ovaries.

And in doing that, it's shutting down your entire reproductive system.

Which sounds like a good idea if you don't want to have a baby, but it's not-

>> Susan Bratton: It doesn't even sound like a good idea if I don't want to have a baby.

Why would you want to shut down your entire reproductive system.

And don't miss our episode on the dirty dozen bad side effects of birth control because

it's not just your reproductive system.

Right?

>> Dr. Jolene B.: Yeah.

Its very-

>> Susan Bratton: Messing every aspect of your body.

But we'll get back to vaginal dryness here.

Keep going.

>> Dr. Jolene B.: So if you're taking a medication that is stopping how the brain and the ovaries

are communicating and stopping the ovaries from actually producing all of those wonderful

hormones that they're able to produce.

That's going to have impacts on the tissues that they specifically have to stimulate like

the vagina.

And so we see vaginal dryness is really common.

Now on top of that when we go into menopause or when you're on hormonal birth control.

You can still lean on your adrenal glands a bit and they'll kick out something called

DHEA which is a precursor to testosterone and estrogen.

So here's the deal though.

You may try to kick out some DHEA, the birth control.

I'm glad you said that episode.

You got to go watch some because it's messing with your adrenals.

But even if you can get any little bit of testosterone out, your liver is affected by

these hormonal contraceptives and it's causing it to kick out more sex hormone binding globulin.

Which is grabbing onto all of that testosterone.

And we often think about testosterone just being for orgasms.

I think that's a lot.

>> Susan Bratton: No, I think most people think testosterone is for dudes.

>> Dr. Jolene B.: That's true.

>> Susan Bratton: So you actually need testosterone to have an orgasm.

To have soft tissue in your vagina.

>> Dr. Jolene B.: And lubrication.

And so all lubrication can be lost.

And the other thing is that your doctor probably didn't tell you this.

They don't teach this in medical school.

But we go through a whole menstrual cycle.

There's this ebb and flow of it's really just this beautiful symphony of hormones.

And through all of that.

There's different times of the month where you're going to have more vaginal secretions,

more lubrication.

That tends to be testosterone starts to rise.

You feel like you're getting in the mood.

Now, the vaginal secretions start and it's all.

It's a whole mechanism mama nature put together to get a baby.

>> Susan Bratton: One of the videos that you can watch is with Nicole Harlow.

You probably know Nicole.

"Girl Meets Body" is her YouTube channel.

And she actually goes through, I call it the fertility finger test.

I named it for her where she, if you swipe your clean finger in your vagina every day

and you look at the vaginal secretions.

You can tell where you are in your ovulatory cycle.

And so if you want the specific details of what it looks this color or this is where

you are and what it looks like this.

This is where you are.

You can actually tell where you are in your cycle by the vaginal secretions.

But if you're suppressing the vaginal secretions with the pill or one of these synthetic hormonal

contraceptives.

Then you're not getting the data you need to know when you're ovulating.

When you're having all of these things and you're getting the dryness.

>> Dr. Jolene B.: And that's essentially-

>> Susan Bratton: They're tied together.

>> Dr. Jolene B.: Absolutely.

And that's, I mean, it really is all tied together with women because there's also your

mood, what your breast tissue look like and your basal body temperature.

There's even the moon cycle and their science to show that as well.

We are complex as ladies.

Which is why I love women's medicine.

That's why I do it because, I love my men too.

But I like to get into all of this.

So here's the deal with that though, is not while you're suppressing these hormones I

give you, go watch that video and look at what your vaginal secretions or like right

before your period come.

They're kind of tacky and that's essentially what you're like all the time.

Which is a super big bummer.

And then women, that's-

>> Susan Bratton: What you mean.

That's what you like all the time when you're on the pill.

Super Tacky of vaginal secretions.

So you never get that slipperiness from ovulation.

>> Dr. Jolene B.: And that's what breaks my heart is that leads so many women to come

to me and say, "Well what's wrong with me?"

There's nothing wrong with you.

You're not broken.

This is not about you.

This is about a drug, a pharmaceutical, that's altering that natural hormonal rhythm.

And so that's how a lot of women find themselves needing to use a lot of lubes and different

things.

I bet you got videos on lubes.

>> Susan Bratton: I do.

I only like natural organic lubes because if you wouldn't put it in your mouth.

You shouldn't put it in your vaginal canal because they are the same tube that's called

mucosal tissue.

This is mucosal tissue.

It's all the same.

So if you wouldn't eat it.

Don't use it on your Yoni.

>> Dr. Jolene B.: And I love that you say that.

And I will say I straight up disagree with doctors who were like, "It's just your skin."

"It's just your vagina."

>> Susan Bratton: No because with our skin's the largest organ in our body.

>> Dr. Jolene B.: And we apply hormones that way.

>> Susan Bratton: We take these toxins in from all those chemicals.

In all those nasty lubes.

>> Dr. Jolene B.: Absolutely.

And your ovaries are sitting right there.

It's not a good idea at all.

>> Susan Bratton: Keep it all natural.

Toxic free.

>> Dr. Jolene B.: But as women start to lean on lubes, if you're on hormonal contraceptives

and some of these lubes that are, they have little sugar elements in them that can actually

feed yeast and that will actually lead a lot of doctors to say, "No."

You just need to go out and get these synthetic lubes.

No, no, no.

You need to look at what this birth control is doing to your vaginal ecology and as you

just said, "The tube is connected all the way through."

So what grows in your gut grows in your vagina and vice versa.

We know birth control causes dysbiosis.

That is the good gut bugs.

They're imbalanced with the bad gut bugs.

And if that's happening.

Now here's what you got to know about yeast.

Yeast is not bad used to just opportunistic.

And if you give it the opportunity to grow it is going to do that.

And so we see yeast infections.

This is well documented and very, very common for women who are on hormonal contraceptives

and all of this can lead to painful sex.

And the other thing that's really concerning is that the younger your put on hormonal birth

control.

The more likely you are to have painful sex and specifically at the introitus the opening.

But it really can be anywhere.

And if you think about how sex works.

And we just have another video on that as well.

Where we talk about vagina parts is that when you get in the mood.

Your uterus actually moves back.

But if you don't have testosterone.

You don't have lubrication.

Your clitoris and all of your sexual tissue cannot become engorge.

That uterus may not move back and now if a penis abruptly meets the cervix, it is.

I think it's some of the worst pain in the world if you've ever experienced it.

And that again leads women.

I actually had a patient who came to me and her doctor told her that she should consider

a hysterectomy because she couldn't give her husband doggy style because it was too painful-

>> Susan Bratton: What?

>> Dr. Jolene B.: For her.

>> Susan Bratton: Oh men.

>> Dr. Jolene B.: Yes.

And she was.

This is what we get in women's medicine.

We get contraceptives, IVF and when you're done with the babies.

>> Susan Bratton: Right.

Exactly.

>> Dr. Jolene B.: But that was his solution to a 33 year old.

And I said, "Okay, well hold up."

You're on hormonal contraceptives.

When's the last time you had an orgasm?

And she's like, "I don't know.

Like maybe never"

>> Susan Bratton: Maybe never.

>> Dr. Jolene B.: Well when she was pregnant, when she was off of everything and she was

pregnant.

She had orgasms and she was like, "Doggy style actually was an issue."

I'm like, "Well that's a key in your history."

But she thought she was broken.

She thought that she couldn't be a good wife, a good woman.

It's a very sad story.

And her doctors only solution was like, "We'll remove the organ that's in the way."

No, there's natural physiology.

I actually am like, "Now you know."

I'm like, "I need to just send everyone over to you" and be like, "You need to go watch

you and your husband, you and your partner."

"You just sit down, watch what needs to happen because it's a good 20 minutes or more of

stimulation to actually get the female body."

And actually I will back it up and say, "There's the stimulation piece of when you're going

to have sex."

But for women are foreplay really happens throughout the day.

When you're taking care of the kids and you're doing the dishes and when you help us out

and we feel safe, we feel cared for and protected.

That's actually, that's really some of the secret sauce to foreplay.

Starting at like 24 to 48 hours in advance.

>> Susan Bratton: Definitely.

There's so many things that have to be right for you to enjoy and relax into your sexuality.

But the very first thing is to remove the roadblocks to any vaginal dryness, recurrent

yeast infections, painful sex.

All of these things can be fixed through getting good hormonal balance.

And bringing your body back into its natural equilibrium.

So if you're wondering, "How do I get off the pill or one of these hormonal birth control

contraceptive options."

I have a couple of pieces of advice for you.

One is, watch our video on non hormonal contraception so you can see what your options are getting

off birth control.

And then once you're ready to get off of the pill.

You can take Dr Brighton's birth control hormone reset program.

I'm going to put a link to it in the video below.

And that's going to help you get off the pill.

Get your body regulated again.

Get on non hormonal birth control.

Watch that video.

And then you'll be able to get to the next step.

Which is feeling more pleasure and sensation in your entire vulva.

And for that I also have a gift for you.

It's called expand her orgasm tonight.

Expanded Orgasm, is a clitoral stroking technique that is very light because your clitoris does

not need a lot of pressure to feel pleasure.

Especially if you're coming off of things like painful sex, vaginal dryness or other

vaginal infections.

Expanded Orgasm is a practice for partners.

You can do it to yourself or you can do it with your partner.

It gives you the time to get fully engorged and turned on and it gives you what I would

almost call some orgasmic training.

It helps you begin to take that moment of orgasm and stretch it out over time and it's

a certain touch technique in a certain way of orgasming.

That it will help you become more orgasmic and multi orgasmic in many, many ways.

So the three free pleasure reports are at the link below along with the birth control

hormone reset program from Dr Brighton.

They really work hand in hand to get you to what is your birthright.

Which is gorgeous pleasure and beautiful sensation.

Not in your Yoni.

But in your whole body and your whole life.

So I'm Susan Bratton, your trusted hot sex advisor here with Dr Jolene Brighten my amazing

friend who I know you just loved and we'll see you on the other side.

Learn Red Hat Linux Episode #9: Basic Familiarization with the GUI (Part 1) - Duration: 10:05.

Welcome everybody to this tutorial. Today I'm just gonna go ahead and enter Red

Hat. We're not gonna do any more installations, or anything of a kind,

today we're jumping in. But, we're we're easing in it slowly. First, I want to

to show you the graphical user interface, and then we will move on to

the terminal. I first want to show you where is what, approximately. Before I do

all of that, I have made some alterations to the Red Hat virtual machine. I have

just assigned it more resources, and you can do the same by clicking on the

settings, and then going to system, and you have the motherboard processor

acceleration, and these things you can only change while the machine is down. So,

once you power the machine up these changes can no longer take effect. You

see I cannot do anything here, I need to turn the Machine off then make

these changes. But in any case, you can see that I have assigned it almost three

gigs of RAM, and I have assigned it an extra CPU core. Hopefully it's

gonna run a bit faster, and this has gonna a be a lot smoother experience. You can

do the same if you wish, but it's not required. I'm simply doing this to save

on time. It is not a pre-requirement of what we are about to do. Anyway, just go

ahead and I'm just gonna go ahead and cancel that, minimize this, and have a

look at this desktop. If some of you have used Mac

it's fairly similar to it. On the upper bar you have sound, network

manager, power management, date, username. Or, you can put in your real name

there if you wish. And on the left side over here, you have applications and

places. So let's click on places. Okay, capture it. Click on places. So

it can take you home, documents, downloads, music, pictures, videos, pretty much

similar as in Windows. You can even browse the network if you want, but

doesn't really, we're not gonna do that for now. Anyway, once you go into

applications, for all of you Windows users

out there, this is basically like the Start menu. You just click on it and then

you have pretty much everything that you want here. We

have the browser, which the default one is Firefox of course, and we're gonna

see... don't pint it my good man. Never mind, while it's opening it up

for the first time it's probably gonna want to do some updates, or something of a

kind. Speaking of which, we need to do them as well, but first let me just

introduce you. So you have the Firefox browser here, you have the mail client,

and so on. Basically, this is for music, for photos. You have Libre Office which

is the equivalent of Microsoft Office. You can pretty much do anything in Libre

Office that you can do Microsoft Office as well, so no problems there.

Under files, if you wondering what this is, this is actually a file manager. So

let's just go ahead and click on it to see what comes up, excellent! So this is

our file manager, and I'll just kill this red, gigantic thing in the background,

close them. Most of our time we will be spending at the command line

and we will be mostly dealing with the terminal, but it's good

to have a look at these things, and it's good to actually be at least acquainted

with the graphical user interface, if nothing else. As it is a prerequisite for

using it as a desktop machine, but not a prerequisite using it for a service, or

anything of a kind, which we eventually want to be able to manage, control,

install, and so on and so forth. Anyway, this is your file browser, and you can

pretty much go anywhere from here. If I go down to computer, it's

gonna take me to where some of the system files are.

I cannot access some of them, you see there is an X here

on root. if I double click on it, it says the location could not be displayed, you

do not have the necessary permissions to view the contents of root. This is going

to be a similar case in all, pretty much the same case actually, in all Linux

distributions. You will not be able to access certain

parts of it, or see it, unless you have a root password, or unless you are using a

terminal to actually view it. Which is very nice, primarily because it disables

99% of viruses out there, pretty much, because they cannot do anything on your

system without proper permissions. So, anyway, you have the temporary files, I don't

know, you have the root files, and here under var you have the log files

somewhere. Let's just have a look at them. I'm generally not used to doing this via a

graphical user interface, but let's just have a look at it. So log, excellent! So

you have these log files that you can later on read. Don't worry about it, we

will go through them. We will read them, I will explain to you this in

far, far, far greater detail. For now, I'm just introducing you to the graphical

user interface, nothing else. So just go ahead and close this and go back to

applications, and now you have categories of applications. So you have favorites,

and these really are pretty much the most used applications in pretty much

any Linux distro. Terminal and browser, they are the first two, and

then comes the rest. So, under accessories, I don't know, you have some stupid things

that you would use for your daily affairs. Oh, by the way, the equivalent of

notepad in Linux, I would definitely say that it's gedit. Except it has like a

ton load of more capabilities and options. There we go, definitely, but we're

not, we can use it a little bit later on, but we'll mainly be using text editors

in the terminal. So you can just go ahead and close that. If we go further down

below, okay, so documentation, graphics, nothing there, come on, Internet, okay so

nothing there, excellent, under office. So here you have like Libre office writer

which is word, or Libre office impress, I think that's the one for presentations

in the office package. I'm pretty sure that you know to which I am referring to

a powerpoint. Tip of my tongue but I couldn't

really remember. So LibreOffice impress is basically PowerPoint if I'm not

mistaken. LibreOffice draw, I think it's an equivalent of paint, or something of a

kind, and LibreOffice calc which is basically Excel. If we go down further

below, we got sound, video, OK. So cheese is for your webcam, just so you know. You can

utilize your webcam with cheese, Brasero is for burning CDs, but

you can burn CDs too via the terminal as well without any sort of

problems. If we go down below some Sundry. Okay, so we got SELinux troubleshooter,

print settings, not that important, firewall, excellent! So you have the

graphical user interface for the firewall. And if we go ahead and click on

it, we're gonna be prompted with a root password that's gonna, oops, actually, no,

are you serious? And if select this, no, okay, there

will be a password. That would be hilarious if there wasn't

anything here. If it didn't prompt me for a root password then I

could do pretty much whatever I wanted to the firewall.

I would disavow, I would completely disavow Red Hat, completely and utterly.

Anyway, here you can, but fortunately it does require the password. Here you can

pretty much do anything with the firewall, and firewall in Linux is

open-source. It's capabilities are practically infinite, you can do whatever

you want with it. There is pretty much nothing that you would need that you

cannot do with a Linux firewall. It's amazing. I don't know, I'm sure you can

find something and make meet my own words, but you get the general idea. So

you can decide what services do you want to allow, what ports, you got port

forwarding, ICMP filter this is for pinging, and so on and so forth. But look,

all of this we will do later via the terminal as that is the proper way of

doing this, because on a server you don't have a graphical user interface, and you

have to do with what you have. Primarily because,

graphical user interfaces are resource expensive, and you they waste RAM,

they waste CPU, and you don't want them. Plus, all the power rests in the

terminal. The almighty terminal. Anyway, so go back to applications, Sundry, we were

here, SELinux is your, how shall I put this, is your, let's say antivirus system,

or a way of tightening down security internally. We will deal with that later

on as it will present, as it will play a major role in this course. If you go down

to system tools, you got settings, boxes, and a lot of things here. But, I'm gonna

continue talking about that in the follow-up tutorial as I am running a bit

of short on time here, and there are a few things to which I wish to introduce

you here as well, just so you know that you can access them this way as well. And

more often than not, on a desktop you will need to as well. Until then, I bid

you farewell.

Can You Beat Your Friends At This Challenge: How Many M Are Hidden In This Picture - Duration: 1:34.

Many of us have jobs where we are seated for long periods of time, or we are stuck in a

meeting room or behind a desk from morning until night.

Then when our day is finally done it's easy to go home and get comfy on the couch in front

of the TV.

Technology has become a huge part of our lives and it's easy to sit back and let it do

all the work.

Soon we may not even have to think for ourselves.

But might I suggest a break from the TV or working, allow the brain to reset and offer

something completely different.

This fun challenge offers exactly that.

It's quick to do and is incredibly simple, but it demands some focus for a short while!

This type of challenge is becoming more common and I think it's a good trend as it keeps

our brain active.

Most do not get it Look at the picture of the sea of Ws and see

how many letter M you can spot.

They are there!

To make it more of a challenge you have ten seconds to find all of them.

Most people fail to complete this correctly on their first attempt.

How many M can you find in the picture?

A big part of the challenge is to cover a fairly large and detailed area in a relatively

short period of time – and not everyone is able to do it.

you will find the answer as the M are marked in white.

Now it's time to compare notes.

The correct answer is that there are 10 M – one letter on each line!

Now press the share button if you found at least 5 M as that's a good result!

Do not forget to share this fun picture puzzle with your friends.

Makeup With My Mom (for English subtitles click on 'CC' in the footer) - Duration: 15:21.

I already turned on the camera...

At what age did you start to put on makeup and what was the first makeup product you owned?

Quite late in life I started to put on makeup.

That's how I have been raised, makeup was not wanted.

And... the first product I remember was probably an eyebrow pencil.

And how old were you at that point approximately?

Hmmm....

Eighteen or nineteen years old. - So just before you got married?

Okay, second question:

Which makeup product are you using on a regular basis?

Do you mean now? - Yes. - Well, I have from 'Health & Beauty'

creams

and also German products from 'Dr. Juchheim' in Munich

I have a good skincare cream but besides that

usually products from Israel.

What are you using now? Eyeshadow or blush or lipsticks? What are you using the most?

Regularly. - Regularly I use eyeshadow or an eye pencil and an eyebrow pencil.

Rarely blush.

And very rarely

Face Powder or something like that.

And lipstick almost never.

Which makeup areas have always been problematic for you or are now at a more mature age problematic?

Well, in old age...

what I'm dealing with now, there are the wrinkles,

the age spots

and maybe that the hair is not so

nice, full and elastic anymore,

how they were when I was younger

and that they are partially falling out. - Like with your eyebrows etc... - And also the eyelashes, that's a shame...

What are your anti-aging and skincare secrets?

First, God's grace...

then Red Wine.

And maybe olive oil. - On the skin, as an ointment? - Especially in the summer, before I'm going out in the sun.

That is it. Nothing besides that.

Just air and love...

There is something called Resveratrol in Red Wine

which has strong anti-aging and anti-cancer qualities. It's very healthy

if consumed in small amounts.

Yeah, exactly.

Then...

What are your favorite colors you love to wear?

Well, it always has been autumn colors.

Autumn colors fit me. I went to a style and color consultant and

even before that I dressed in those colors.

Instinctive. - I knew instinctively what looks good on me.

All shades of green. - And bordeaux, right?

There was a time when I wore mostly olive green.

But now I love to wear a strong green as well, a forest green.

I love everything in green.

I especially love green shoes.

I love green. - Great.

Mom, if you were young again,

a teenager or something like that

what would be your advice to your younger self?

What would you change? Or what would you recommend your younger self should do?

Or what she should watch out for?

I would say: "Girl, take better care of yourself.

And I would feel more liberty in all decisions.

And would really try

to make the best out of my look.

Natural, yes.

But just beautiful.

I would try that.

To emphasize the natural beauty.

Yes, exactly.

Great.

I have another spontaneous question

that just came to my mind.

When I will do your makeup in the coming weeks

or days or however we will do it,

which eyeshadow colors would you be drawn to the most?

Well, as natural as possible.

And probably browns and greens.

Okay, last question:

What do you love the most in me

or in being my mother?

Well, I'm proud that I am your mother.

I love your creativity.

And that you found your way no matter what other people think.

And that you are going this way especially now.

I admire that.

And...

I just love you as my child, as my daughter.

Ohhh, I could say so much more...

That you are just precious

like all my children

but you are now especially precious.

You are reason that draws me even more to Jerusalem

And...

I appreciate you very much.

I'm very thankful that you have gone through this transformation

I spite of all the pressure with the children and all your work

that you will get through this

you have always been very driven and goal oriented,

already back in school.

And you always...

done well.

Once you knew what you wanted

you went for it.

And I admire that a lot in you.

But I admire as well

your humility.

That you are saying: "I have to learn and do everything,

but I know that I do it because I've been given a gift from God."

And that is a very important aspect

for your life.

And I want to advise you to continue

to stick with that and

that you will stay healthy.

That you will be able to do all of this.

Thank you, Mom.

It was so much fun filming with you, Mom.

Same here.

And we'll do that a lot from now on, ok?

Yes.
