Youtube daily report w Sep 26 2018

Vietnam, I think, the first few days you're just waiting to get shot.

I don't know how many other Marines feel that way, but I was just waiting, and then of course you adapt.

You have to adapt because you can't function, you know being afraid. You have to act.

His reputation was that he never ducked, he never crawled.

Canley, he may not ever have even fully understood this himself, but Canley was a fatalist, is a I suppose,

but he certainly was then, and he clearly did believe that if

today was your day, there wasn't nothing you could do about it.

During firefights when we'd be all hugging Mother Earth,

he'd be standing up directing us.

The result of that is he appeared to be fearless because he was fearless,

and we all considered him totally, completely, and absolutely without fear.

He stood up in the middle of firefights, I don't know what else to say.

I know that might sound unrealistic to people listening, but you'll hear that from every Alpha Company Marine.

He gave them a chance, if they didn't get him in that first 30 seconds,

then he said to himself, I don't have to worry about it today.

Gunny Canley was quiet and unlike, you know, most Marine NCOs and gunnys,

he spoke very softly, but the one thing I got from him, and I didn't

have much contact with him until Hue City and then after,

was he loved his enlisted Marines, and he never scolded us, he instructed us, but you could feel the love,

you really could. I know that's maybe a tough word, you know in combat Marines,

but you could feel the love, and you know, I would screw up something, and it was never a chewing out

it was just this is the way we do it. So you wanted to do it right for him after that.

He is individually and uniquely responsible for saving

saving and or protecting the lives of a lot of good, young Marines.

Good, young Marines of that day, old gray-haired turds today.

All of us, all of us, the lieutenant included literally worship the ground that he walks on.

He's a special human being, a very, very special human being, never takes any credit,

never wanted any credit, just wanted to take care of his Marines.

LEGO Vestas Windmill 2018 - Return of a MOST WANTED set! - Duration: 1:20.

A surprise reveal from LEGO today - the next Creator Expert set is a re-release of the

Vestas Windmill.

Yeah, that one 2008 set that was only available to Vestas Employees is now releasing to LEGO

Stores on Black Friday for 200 dollars in the United States.

If you listen to MandRproductions' podcast Bricks and Bits, which I'm a host on, you

may know that I wanted this set so much, but was never able to get it since it was so darn

expensive on eBay.

It has to be in my Top 5 Most Wanted sets of all time...

I'll definitely be buying this set by the end of the year.

There's some improvements to this version as well, with what seems to be some new printed

peices, my favorite being on the worker minifigs - getting the hard hat in dark blue looks

amazing as well.

One of the best features of the original set was the Power Functions included, which is

carried over here - one that spings the Windmill, and then lights for teh House at the bottom.

Which, the house and hill have actually always been my favorite parts of the build.

It looks so darn comfy, I just really enjoy the unconventional builds for both.

Anyways, we'll see if LEGO continues the trend of D2C re-releases on Black Friday - last

year we had the Taj Mahal, I was really not expecting a re-release of this one.

Now next year, please re-release the Haunted House, LEGO.

You just have to rebrand it under Creator Expert.

Anyways, what do you guys think?

Leave your thoughts in the comments below.

I'll see you guys later, peace out, bye.

Nosso Canteiro Elevado de Outono Parte 2 / Our Fall Raised bed Garden Part 2 - Duration: 9:54.

Hi everyone, Welcome to Batistenha Homestead, I am Joselito and I am Iva. We're here

in our autumn bed and we're going to take a look at how things are all around here. Improve

the soil a little, so that we can plant other things. Look how he's doing here.

our melons are well grown, beautiful, we even have some fruit. Look that

this here one (Kajari) very cute, is only one that has for now,

But it's ok. But we're putting a lime here, to improve the

ph of our soil because we are going to plant a cabbage here. We are going to plant

cabbage here in this area, then we are putting this lime in to improve the

ph of this soil. So come on, come with us.

Guys, this lime I'm using is a lime for the garden, so

It's good for our garden here, so let's put it on. Now we're mixing it up.

here to enter more on the soil.

let's continue working

look while Joselito is preparing the soil. Let me show you the flowers

here, look how beautiful they are, look at those here. Look at the little

melon too, hops are not they beautiful? Very beautiful.

Look, these are the colorful nasturtiums nasturtiums.

Joselito is already planting the cabbage, we will follow.

We are going to plant this purple cabbage here, I am going to put 2 purple and

2 green

we plant here on this side of the flowerbed, on the other side there are the melons.

From the outside they will rise outside and here in the we

will plant this cabbage. Now let's plant in all of them, join us.

Look at our zinias as they are developing well, little button

here it will open soon I'll start this side here, I have to

plant the cabbages here too. Look how beautiful is the zinnia,

look at the vibrant color of this flower. I'm in love with the flowers, full of

buttons. Guys now we'll put back here the cover of the land,

because it is not advisable to leave the soil uncovered.

So this will keep the soil moisture, for the microorganisms will continue

working underground. And it will keep the humidity going

protect the soil, microorganisms. So let's put of

Come back here.

Now we give a wet one so that the plants get well,

although there is rain forecast but always good watering for the roots

begin to develop. Whenever you plant something

You throw water for everything.

Look at the color of this then, she

orange, is almost red, but is very beautiful.

And the raspberries, let us show you our raspberries. People

These raspberries are sweet, very beautiful.

Guys now we'll start by the back screen, for the non groundhog

attack our plantations.

So it got better the plant is far from the screen, it does not catch the screen

and wanting to climb the screen and the animal, he is afraid to climb here on that thin screen.

Now we'll do the others, let's continue the

job.

Staff thank you for accompanying us here our autumn bed, if you

is liking this video, give your like to us,

share with your friends on your social networks.

Many thanks again, I am Joselito and I am Iva, until the next.

Travel journal: Alsace & Black Forest - Episode 3 - Castles, monkeys and ice cream - Duration: 14:06.

We'll leave Colmar today

so after a quick breakfast based on toasts with butter and jam and different varieties of flavored tea

we say goodbye to Renaud's peculiar apartment

and we head towards our next destination

At the northern exit of Colmar we are seen off by the statue of liberty

that was built on this roundabout in 2004 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of its creator Bartholdi's death

Today we'll visit Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle in Orschwiller

so, after parking our car, we climb a steep road until we get to its outer walls

The castle, which inspired the director Hayao Miyazaki for his "Moving Castle",

was built in the 12th century

and after being damaged several times

we can see it today as it was when it was restored in the early 1900s

even if it preserved its structure as a Medieval fortress

with towers, bastions and double walls

It's time to visit the interior of the fortress and so, after buying the tickets,

we walk towards the entrance to begin our tour

And there's even a theatralized guided tour for those who wish to have one,

with guides/actors in Medieval costumes that take you back in time

Inside the castle, after walking through a room with a dragon that looks at us from the ceiling

we get to the hunting trophies room

where there's a display of all the antlers of the poor deer

that were killed in the woods of this region

and that have become nothing more than extra ramifications of the plants painted on the walls

This ram had the same destiny and now its skull is an original lamp

while this boar's head didn't inspire particularly creative handicrafts works

In the weapons room, which is particularly crowded right now, there's a display of many types of halberds

armor

crossbows

and swords

While a guide in costume is taking care of a group of children

We move on to one of the towers of the great bastion

from whose embrasures you can have a beautiful view of the external areas of the castle

and a wonderful view of the Vosges Mountains and the plain

Inside the tower, instead, there's an exhibition of cannons reproductions

that show the evolution of artillery from the 15th to the 17th century

and it's this section of the castle that Enea is particularly excited about

jumping from cannon to cannon like a bee in a meadow

And at the exit of the castle, still in character as a soldier of the king,

Enea wears a suit of armor

to fight a big green dragon

and show him who's the meanest of the two

After our visit to the Château du Haut-Kœnigsbourg

we can't avoid but go through its little wood to go back to the car

because Enea, who apparently aspires to become a mountaineer

needs to hone his climbing techniques

After reaching the top, his mission is accomplished and we can go back to the car to hit the road again

And since we're all quite hungry

we decide to stop in another village along the wine road

We're in Kintzheim

to eat something

We spotted a pizza place, so...

- La Felicità (The happiness) - The pizza place is called "La Felicità". I hope it will make us happy

It looks like there's a cheap menu combination for 11 euros on workdays

Let's go check what it's all about

It seems that it's mostly workers and employees who come here on lunch break

besides some occasional tourists like us

And actually the waitresses take care of their usual customers first

and we end up waiting more than expected, while our hunger keeps growing

We are really unhappy because the waiters are not coming to take our order

Enea keeps whining because he's very hungry...

But when all hopes seem lost, we finally get to order

and they bring us pizzas for Enea and Barbara

and the dishes from the set menu for Marco and me whose appetizer consists of a goat cheese quiche and salad

the main dish is a slightly overcooked pasta but with a delicious stew

It's plain pasta with beef

Good

And for dessert, a slice of delicious apple pie

while Enea takes a lemon ice-cream that is maybe one of the best I've ever tasted

And now that we are full and satisfied

we can continue our journey towards the next destination of the day

Monkey Mountain park

Yes, because there are monkeys too in Alsace, besides storks

even though the monkeys have been... imported from North Africa

Where are we now ?

We're going to see the monkey

And where are they ?

On the mountain

And where is the mountain ?

On the mountain

So we buy the tickets and we go towards the entrance

where we get in line to get a handful of popcorn

the only type of food that can be given to the monkeys

and where the park attendants give us a list of basic rules to follow

Hide the rest of the popcorn like this

so don't put it in your pockets or bags

Please, leave the popcorn that's on the ground

Don't eat or smoke inside the park, please

Children must be under your supervision all the time

so no shouting and no running

Always hold the youngest ones by the hand

Our staff is available for any question

Always keep a safety distance

of at least one meter between you and the monkey

The first monkey we see is sleeping

just like a mother and her little one are sleeping in the shade by a puddle

but a few meters away there's one who is awake, hungry and craving popcorn

and that generous Enea feeds with a handful of it

One piece at a time, Enea. You should give them one at a time.

These macaques, also known as magots

are organized in a hierarchical society

well... then this monkey sitting as if on a throne... is it maybe the queen ?

This monkey is instead sitting as if on a bench in the park

and is waiting for the passers-by to offer him some popcorn

He's so funny in this position

that I decide to give him almost all the popcorn I have at my disposal

His fingers are like clawed

- Are you done ? - Wait, I want to give him one more

Carmine, what about her ?

Enea, take it. Give him one.

- I already have - One more

Wait for him to...

What about her ?

- That one over there ? - She doesn't want it

The last one

Bye !

One could think that there are only macaques to feed in this park

but there are actually other species of monkeys that want popcorn

and that seize it with the same voracity

One piece of popcorn, for example, is not enough for this magot

who stretches out its arm to ask for one more

All right... let's give it to her !

And while a monkey, tired of popcorn, is enjoying a carrot

a male is carrying a young one around on his back

Among these macaques the males also take care of the young, even if they're not theirs

and they play with them, delouse them and protect them

Well, even if enclosed in this 24-hectare park

these monkeys behave exactly like they would in their natural environment

in the forests on Moroccan and Algerian mountains

where the climate is similar to that of this region of Europe

characterized by cold and snowy winters

which is the reason why they can live outside all year round even at this latitude

And while we keep feeding these primates so similar to us

the only one who hasn't had the courage to do it yet is Barbara

who gives in eventually and tries this unique experience too

Not once, but twice

And the time comes to leave Monkey Mountain

so we go back to the parking lot to get our car and hit the road again

And when we cross the Rhine, we leave France and we arrive in Germany

that will turn out to be full of wind turbines, Enea's biggest passion

Our goal is to get to the little town of Biberach, where we're going to sleep

This is where our hotel is

and where its funny manager, who has a British sense of humour, shows us the parking space where we can leave our car

and the way to get to our room

a triple room with a bathroom that has a shower and a bathtub at the same time

a double bed and a single bed where I'll be sleeping

And in the quiet hallway on our floor, there's even a common bathroom

which can be a good alternative in case the bathroom in our room is occupied

We go out again because we would like to visit Biberach, but...

I asked the manager if there was a center of town... Enea please...

if there was a center of town and he said: no, it's all like this... residential

So in order to see a nice place around here, he recommended us to go to Gengenbach that's a 5-minute drive from here

So Marco went to get the keys and we'll go see what Gengenbach is like

We get to Gengenbach when the sun is beginning to set

and along the way we come across a fountain that Enea finds particularly amusing

because he runs around trying to wet us all

Once in the old town, we're immediately drawn like flies to honey to the "Casa del Gelato"

where our intention at first is to take a simple ice cream cone

but after seeing the huge and tempting ice cream cups on the tables of the other costumers

we decide to take a seat and have a cold and sweet dinner

which is perfect for this sultry and hot evening

And when we order our ice creams

we find out that the nice owner comes from Sicily

and that he's very happy to have a chat with other Italians

What is it ?

This is a hazelnut ice cream

Sehr gut ! (Very good)

What flavors did you choose, Enea ?

Strawberry and lemon with a cookie

What's yours called, Marco ?

Tropical Becher (Tropicale cup)

It's all tropical fruit

My ice cream is like a non-tropical fruit salad

and we are surprised not only by how good these ice creams are, with fruit that is clearly fresh

but also by how we immediately stop feeling uncomfortable in this heat after eating them

We say goodbye to the nice and friendly manager of the "Casa del gelato"

and before going back to our hotel

we take a walk in the nice little streets of Gengenbach

discovering its unexpected charm and its numerous beauties

like the Röhrbrunnen fountain

on top of which a knight, also affectionately referred to as "Schwed", the Swede, by Gengenbach's citizens

is leaning on a shield with the town's coat of arms

There's so much to discover here in Gengenbach, but our day has been long and we have to go back to our hotel

But we promise ourselves that we'll come back tomorrow to explore this town that seems to be so wonderful

Sgt. Maj. John Canley — Fearless Marine to be Awarded Medal of Honor - Duration: 3:05.

STUDY ABROAD: the most expensive mistake language learners make - Duration: 6:00.

Hi there, Vladimir here with another video about how to learn English

I start my book Virtually Native

with some of the biggest myths about learning a foreign language

learning English.

1 myth/mistake stands out as

the most expensive mistake language learners make

and it's the false belief that

The best way,

the easiest way,

the only way to learn a foreign language

is to go to the country where the language is spoken.

a very costly myth

so

let us bust it once and for all

the easiest way to learn English

is to go to the country where the language is spoken.

It's such an enduring myth

unfortunately kept alive even by big-name dictionaries.

Longman and Cambridge

give the following example sentences for the phrasal verb: PICK UP = LEARN

No, you don't. that's not true!

You don't pick up the language "soon",

it's not that fast and

it's certainly not "easy".

Language is not a virus,

you don't just pick it up by visiting the country

and walking among the people who have it.

The same way you don't learn how to swim by taking a shower.

The main argument is that

we have more chances to speak the language.

However,

answer me this question:

How often do you speak your native language in your own country

outside your workplace and your family?

You walk out your front door in the morning

take your time and count:

How many words do you say between your house and your office?

Count please

how many words between your house and your office?

99% of all communication is done at work and at home.

99% of all communication is with

our coworkers or classmates

with our family and with our friends.

Living abroad gives you about 1% more opportunity to practice the language

Yes, but I will go to a language school in England.

You can go to a language school in your home country

much cheaper and less stressful

Yes, but I will do a homestay with a British family.

You can hire a private tutor or have online lessons

much cheaper and much more convenient.

Yes, but I can go talk with native speakers at bars and cafes

There are no bars and cafes where you live?

Do you live in North Korea?

If you are that outgoing and confident

then I'm sure you can do the same in your own country

don't get me wrong:

I believe that traveling abroad,

seeing places and meeting people from different cultures

is one of the most meaningful things a person can do.

However,

I don't believe in going to a country for the sole purpose of learning the language

the 1% benefit hardly justifies the cost and stress.

Learning abroad is not cost-effective.

The amount of money people spend/waste on language schools overseas is enormous.

in all fairness,

the belief that studying a foreign language in the country where it is spoken

was kind of true until recently,

before the invention of this thing called

the Internet.

In the pre-Internet era,

there was very limited access to foreign books, radio, and especially foreign TV.

one benefited from living in the country.

But today, it makes virtually no difference where you live

and especially with regard to English

Everything you want and need is in your pocket

The amount of money people waste on studying English abroad is mind-boggling.

It is truly shocking how much time and money people waste

because they don't know how to learn English

a multibillion-dollar black hole

stop that madness

and read my book Virtually Native

a book that will teach you

how to learn English in your home country, without a teacher

Virtually Native is available on Amazon and virtuallynative.com

3 Ways To Build A Customer Email List and Make More Sales! - Duration: 4:23.

Hey, what's up at Scott again, and I wanted to jump in here because I know some of you

may be saying, well Scott, I don't really have an email list yet.

Well, the thing is you probably do.

You just don't know how to get access to it.

Now there's three different ways that you can have an email list or that you can build

an email list.

Number one is you have Amazon customers.

Yes, you don't get their email addresses, but there are a few ways that we can get their

email addresses and I'm going to share with you how we can do that.

So if you already have an Amazon product that is selling pretty well, we can grab that data

as of right now.

We can do that and I'm going to share with you how we can do that.

All right?

The second way is to do a giveaway and in that giveaway it's something that your audience

or that your market is interested in and then we can just put it out there in front of them

and we can say, hey, would you be interested in winning this?

And then they're gonna raise their hand and say yes, and then from there we've at least

got a lead list, not necessarily a customer list yet, but we have people that are interested

in our products.

Now this list, obviously the customer list is always going to be a little bit better.

All right?

But this is a great way to get in front of your potential audience or your potential

customer.

Okay?

Shopify or your ecommerce store, depending on what platform you're on, whenever an order

is processed, most likely you're getting the email addresses.

Sometimes people aren't even aware of that going on your shopify store in your database,

and you can find those email addresses.

All right, so I talked about before in the past videos that you can go ahead and you

can send them out an offer, right?

Well we have to get those on a list and we have to then also start engaging with the

list.

All right?

So a lot of times people will have this list and it'll just sit there dormant there.

Nothing will happen with it.

No one will, no one will receive anything.

So you should definitely be sending them at least one thing a week, but in the beginning

you want to definitely keep them, as we call it, the marketing world, warm.

We want to keep that a warm lead where they're not just receiving something sporadically,

like once here and then maybe three months later that it's a cold list.

We don't want that.

We want them to remember that they bought from us by delivering value.

And that's where I put in here content.

All right?

Most all markets support content, meaning that you can create something that helps that

customer with their product or their experience.

All right?

So for an example, if you're in the fishing niche, we could do fishing a tutorials on

how to catch more fish, right?

And that would be the content.

So your content pieces are like three.

I like to have three different pieces of content before I ever offer them anything.

So create value three times in a row and then you can follow up with an offer.

All right, now you can play around with this all you want, but you definitely want to build

some goodwill up so this way here you're not just hitting them over the head with an offer.

All right.

Back to the Amazon customers.

I know a lot of people want to know this.

What you can do is extract all of your data.

You can just pull that report.

It will give names and addresses and zip codes and all that stuff.

You can upload that to facebook and create a custom audience.

Then you can create something like this giveaway or something that would get their interest.

Maybe it's a coupon for your product, 25 percent off, 30 percent off in exchange for their

email address, and then what you can do because facebook will match those to their database

and you might get a 50 percent match rate.

If you have 10,000 leads and you get 5,000 customers that you can then target.

It's pretty powerful.

All right, so this right here is something that you should be actively doing on a regular

basis and sending emails on a regular basis because that will definitely lead to more

sales, which means more revenue for your business and more profit that you can also have at

the end of the day.

Alright, so hopefully this helped you.

Again guys, I'm here to make sure that you guys can grow and scale your current businesses

and take it from whatever it is now in five exit, maybe even 10 exit in the future by

using some of these principles that I've been sharing with you here.

All right, so do me a favor, comment below.

Let me know what you think.

Let me know if you have any ideas or if you've done any of this stuff and let me know how

it's working for you or if you have any other thing that you want me to create in the future

to help you build your business.

Let me know that as well.

All right guys, so that's it.

That's gonna.

Wrap it up, take care, and as always, take action.

We'll see you guys.

Bye.

Should Christians invest in the stock market? - Duration: 3:47.

- Gambling and risk are not the same thing.

So gambling is a win-lose proposition.

Gambling is, I want to win,

and I want everybody else to lose,

because the more other people lose, the more I gain.

Buying stocks, investing in companies

in the stock market is not that, it is a win-win.

We want to invest in a tangible company

that provides some tangible service or product,

and we want that company to thrive,

and in thriving, everybody wins,

all the investors in the company win.

So is that a risk?

Yeah, we can invest in it, and it fail,

and we've lost our money, but

that's not gambling, that's risk,

and it still has, as its goal,

to succeed, and for others to profit, as well.

And so I see that as a very different thing than gambling,

which, if I'm playing poker, my desire is for me to win

and everybody else to lose, but when I invest

in a company, I believe that company's going to succeed,

and I would encourage others to invest

in that company, too.

The more we invest in it, the more we help it succeed,

then the more we get in return.

That's win-win, a very different proposition.

There are products that Wall Street offers

that I think are unethical.

Much of the problem, in 2008, was because

of investments, well really, it was gambling.

They were actually gambling on the housing market to fail,

and that's a very different thing.

So I do believe that there is such a thing

as ethical investment and unethical investment.

I would not invest in a company, for instance,

that produces the plan B contraceptive,

that is basically an abortifacient

that would cause women to spontaneously abort their babies

as a result of taking that medication.

I would not invest in that company.

I don't want that company to succeed,

I don't want to profit from that business.

So Christians need to be concerned with what we invest in,

and so we're taking calculated risk,

the risk of investment, and putting our capital in endeavors,

that are healthy, and ethical, and strive to help the world,

rather than things that we believe are harmful,

and contrary to our Christian world view.

And there are products that are offered as investments

that I would say are really not investments,

they are gambling, and we should shun

and avoid those things.

So a Christian needs to be educated

in what is a proper investment,

what is a healthy way to use our money.

Remember our goal is so that we have something to give.

Let him no longer steal, rather, let him labor

with his hands that he might have something to give.

And the reason I want to make money,

the reason I want to have money,

is so that I can use it for Kingdom purposes,

and that's why I want to be careful

with what I invest in, that it is consistent

with those kingdom purposes, and that I can stand

before the Lord with a clear conscience,

and say, "I have brought a return

"from what you provided to me,

"so that I can bring honor and glory to you."

That's just good stewardship,

of being a follower of Jesus Christ.

POURQUOI LA FAMILLE ROYALE BRITANNIQUE FASCINE-T-ELLE AUTANT ? - Duration: 5:40.

trim your videos after you've uploaded them to youtube - Duration: 7:09.

hello everyone I'm Donna from art craft crazy and YouTube now have a new trim

tool which means you can cut out a bit of the video that you don't want and

this is after you have uploaded your video so if you want to remove a cough

or a mistake you now can this is perfect if you don't have any editing software

for example if you shoot a video and upload it as it is and you want to

change it after the upload so the first thing you need to know is how to find

this tool because YouTube runs two platforms it runs both the current

"Creator Studio" which is what you see here and the new "Studio Beta" I'll show

you in a minute so this is your channel the the front part of your channel so

once you're in here you look over here to the creator studio button click on that

and that takes you to this platform here this is probably what you're normally

used to you would normally click on your videos this red bar here on the left but

to get to the new YouTube studio beta go to this little cog bit in the blue

and click on this now if you don't see this in Internet Explorer use Chrome

because I couldn't see it in Internet Explorer but I can see this feature in

Chrome so click on this and it'll open up in the new studio dashboard and it'll

look like this go over to the left and click on videos once it opens up into

the list of your videos just select the video that you want to trim so I'm just

going to select the first one on my list so just open that up and you've got

another dashboard here so go over to the left and click on this editor

button here now that opens up into the editing software and it'll look like

this it might look like this for the first time and it might look like this

every time so just click on the Get Started button and it'll take you

directly into the software. I'll just show you around a little bit before I

show you how to cut your video so this is your undo button this is your redo

button this is your discard your changes so if you do something and you're not

happy with it discard those changes and you're save

button is right next to it you've got your play button, you've got

your ten frames back button and your ten frames forward and your volume button is

beside it then you've got your setting speeds you can go faster or slow mo

this slider here will make your timeline bigger or smaller

your time line is this area at the bottom here this is your time line bar

you just move it using your mouse you can move it to the left or the right

right now we're ready for me to show you how to trim your video, click on this

trim button here and once you click on that button this little blue pop-up box

will show, and it's got the split and cancel written on it

move your timeline bar to where you want to begin your split click on the split

button and what that does it it makes that timeline bar turn into two bars so

you can grab it with your mouse and drag that bar out so drag it to your right

and see what it's doing here it's wherever you stop that that the right

hand side of that bar is the area that it will cut out so all this area here if

I left it there it will cut this out if you want to test it to see whether or

not you're cutting out the right area just bring your play bar back to the

beginning of the cut/playhead and play it and it'll jump right over that cut out

area so you can test it before you actually make the final cut and if it's

not where you want it grab that playhead and move it back and test it again now

if you want to do a second split you can do that as well so we'll do a same again

to add the second cut leave your playhead bar where you want the second

split to be and click on the split button drag that second bar to the right

and that will be the area that you're going to cut out again you can do this

as many times as you like by the way and just put the playhead in front of

that area again and hit the play button on the video screen and test it and if

that's where you wanted to make your splits you would go ahead and save it

and of course if you didn't want to if you weren't happy with it at all just

discard your changes now this is perfect if you say the wrong word or you have

too many ums in what you're saying in your video or you simply coffee or you

just make a mistake and you've noticed it after you've uploaded this new cut

feature is perfect for fixing that up after you have uploaded your video to

your channel, I'm Donna from art craft crazy thanks for watching and bye for now

How BIG Can Numbers Get? | Talking about BIG Numbers! - Duration: 9:11.

You can now access all of our videos from class 9 to 12 on our app.

Download it now through link given in the description.

Numbers!

You can love them or hate them

but let just accept that they are really cool!

One of the most amazing things about numbers is that

however big a number you come up with,

I can always tell you a bigger number.

But while it is easy to come up with big numbers

(just keep adding zeroes to the end),

it is very difficult for us to wrap our heads around what these numbers mean, and how to visualise them.

If you are a number lover,

then get ready to be amazed,

as we talk about

really really really biiiig numbers today!

If you are one to scare numbers

still don't worry

because we will help in this video

to actually visualise big numbers!

Either way - things are going to get craaaazy!

So let's start small!

and by small, we mean 10,000

assuming you can visualise the very small numbers like 1, 10, 100 and 1000.

Ten Thousand - 10,000

10,000 may seem like a small number

but let me tell you

with the help of 10,000 soldiers Muhammad, conquered Mecca;

it is also equal to the number of days

for which Vietnam War lasted

10,000 days is almost as equal as 27 years.

Then comes 100,000 - a hundred thousand

- also called a lakh in India!

100,000 meters is the height where flight outside earth's atmosphere.

or you start your spaceflight.

If we talk about time,

In 100,000 hours,

you will be able to watch entire series of Harry Potter

5,000 times.

Not only this,

In 100,000 hours, you could have walked all the way from Kanyakumari to Kashmir 1540 times.

A Million,

it is a very very large number,

and therefore from it comes the phrase

"you are one in a million".

However, the population of the world is such,

that even if you are 1 in a million,

there would be 7000 people just like you!

A million seconds is equal to 12 days,

and a million minutes ago was the year 1741.

But - a million is still small number

compared to the bigger guys

And so, we did not actually need a method to demonstrate these numbers in any other way.

But as we move ahead, the number of zeroes in a number will increase

and it is going to be impossible for us

to write all the zeroes against the number.

so we are going to need a simpler notation for them

Which we called - the exponents!

Exponents are short-hand for multiplication of the same thing by itself.

For example,

for writing 10 x 10 x 10 or 1000,

or number 1000

you can use shorthand 10 raise to the power 3.

you may not see its importance right now because of this example,

but just wait till things start to get crazy!

So coming back to numbers

Add another zero in 1 million we will get 10 million.

also called a crore in India!

This brings us to a range

the number of steps that you would need to walk all around the Earth.

40 million steps to be pricise

10^8(100 Million) or 10 Crore

This brings us to the approximate distance

between sun and the earth

Which is 160 million miles to be precise.

Slightly less than the number of unique books ever published in human history (130 million).

Not only this,

The estimated population of Maharashtra is also close to 100 million.

1 billion

as this is just

slightly less than the population of entire India!

If we talk about the time,

About 1 billion hours ago,

modern human beings and their ancestors were living in the Stone Age.

About 1 billion months ago,

dinosaurs walked the Earth during the late Cretaceous.

And about 1 billion years ago,

the first multicellular eukaryotes appeared on Earth.

If you are a braveheart

and you started counting now,

from 1 to 1 billion

It will take approximately 95 years.

adding one more zero

we get ten billion

which is the number of years

since the big bang happened.

Also it is the number of seconds

Since Jesus Christ left.

Also, if you are 1 in 10 billion,

then you are truly unique.

A 100 billion is a number of

stars in a Milky Way galaxy

and it is also equal to the number of

galaxies in the entire observable universe.

Also, The number of people who have ever born on earth

which means all the homo sapiens that have ever walked the earth

is equal to 107 billion.

Adding a zero gives us a new name

which is the trillion!

or a million millions.

If you somehow manage to make a really really big weighing scale

and put all the people of our planet on it,

Then this is what the scale is going to read

1 trillion pounds

Or 0.6 trillion kgs.

100 trillion

100 trillion is about the number of letters in every published book in human history,

as well as close to total number of cells in your body,

out of which half are yours,

and half are bacterial cells.

1 quadrillion

Quadrillions occasionally show up in economics when working with extremely large worldwide scales

or when the currency unit isn't very valuable.

For example -

the gross value produced by the entire world

In ten years is close to 1 quadrillion USD.

Interestingly, Zimbabwe dollar fell so hard to inflation in the last decade,

that they issued a 100 trillion dollar note.

Owning 10 only such notes would have made you a quadrillionaire in Zimbabwe,

which might be dream come true.

But it would be worth around 20,000 rupees only.

If we talk about time,

a quadrillion seconds would be about 32 million years ago,

A quadrillion minutes would be about 1.9 billion years ago,

and a quadrillion hours would be more than the age of our entire the universe!

Adding a zero gives us 1 quintillion

or a million trillions.

It's the number of cubic meters of water in all the Earth's oceans

also,

the number of atoms in a grain of salt

that is also equal to 1.2 quintillions.

100 quintillion

The number of meter-long steps it would take you to walk across the whole Milky Way.

1 sextillion

100 sextillion

100 sextillion is a number of estimate for the total number of stars in the entire universe.

Also, You deal with this number in school - 602 sextillion,

or 6.02 x 10^(23) - is a mole, or the Avogadro's Number.

10^(25) or 10 septillion

The number of drops of water in all the world's oceans.

1 octillion

Earth weighs about 6 octillion grams.

Not only this,

the average human body has about seven octillion atoms,

which is pretty amazing.

If the Earth were hollow, it would take 1 octillion peas to pack it full.

Let us move ahead quickly now!

To get to 10^(80),

Simply you take trillion

and you multiply it with the trillion,

with the trillion,

with the trillion,

with the trillion,

with the trillion,

and by a hundred millions.

1 followed by 80 zeroes.

thats how this big number is!

It is a common estimate for the number of atoms in the universe

surprisingly, is far far less than the number of possible games of chess.

10^(90).

how to visualize this number,

This is how many medium size grains of sand it would take to pack the universe full.

But wait - it doesn't end there

because we even have bigger number for you in mind.

which is 10^(100) or a googol.

This number is so large that most people haven't even heard of it,

It's the number of grains of sand that could fit in 10 billion universes identical to ours.

If the whole universe were packed with neutrons so that there would be no empty space anywhere,

there would be around 10^(128) neutrons.

To make things even crazier, let's go further!

If, somehow, you have been able to digest the immensity of googol,

then we have for you - the googolplex! Which is 10^(googol)

As we've discussed, filling the universe with sand only gets you a ten billionth of the way to a googol,

How do you write this zeros?

Let me tell you,

so what we'd have to do is fill the universe to the brim with sand,

and write 10 billion zeros on each grain of sand.

If you did that on every single grain of sand filling the universe, you'd have successfully written down the number googolplex.

but, but, but

googolplex is still not the largest number that we knew of.

The largest number that mathematicians ever usually consider is the Graham's number.

While it is possible to go even further than the Graham's number,

but it is already much beyond what our imagination can help us to visualise.

As you can guess, visualising Graham's number

is a mind-boggling exercise even for the cleverest mathematicians!

If you like numbers, then to really understand big numbers,

then you should start with the basics

like basics of operations,

exponents

types of numbers.
