Regents Exam | Algebra I (Common Core) | August 2016 | Problem 5 - Duration: 2:06.

Regents Exam Algebra I August 2016 Problem number 5.

If f of n equals the quantity n minus 1 squared plus 3n, which statement is true?

Here we are provided with the function f of n and we need to choose the option that yields

a true statement.

The best way to approach this problem is to systematically go through every option until

we find our answer.

Notice that for each option we are given the input or n value as well as the result or

output when the value of n is substituted into the function and evaluated.

Let's start with the values from option 1, here the value for N is 3 so we substitute

this value into the function making sure we use parenthesis when we substitute the variable

N with 3 as follows.

Then we proceed by simplifying the expression, making sure we follow the order of operations,

in this case we need to simplify the expression inside the parenthesis first then we square

the result and add it to the result of the product.

Doing that we obtain the following value, notice that this value does not match the

output from option 1 hence this option is incorrect since it did not yield the same

output.

Let's try the value of option 2, here we substitute the function with negative 2, once

again making sure we use parenthesis when substituting the variable with negative 2.

Simplifying the expression we obtain the following output notice that this value matches the

output of option 2.

So we conclude that option 2 yields a true statement.

Validating Corey Goode's Information with Disclosures from T V - Duration: 11:25.

Validating Corey Goodes Information with Disclosures from T.V.

by Jonathan Carty

(Jonathan Carty) Disclaimer: As with any information you come across it is advised that discernment

be used.

I have no intention of deception, distortion or concealment of information to my readers.

I feel guided to write and share the information and research I come across and put it together

in a way that is easy to disseminate and distribute to others.

My intentions are to emphasize the importance of love encouraging others to seek their own

truth.

What I feel is true and what others feel is true may differ and thats okay, to each

their own.

If what I write doesnt feel right then others are free to pass it by with their own

free will.

Much love!

Someone asked me recently what my thoughts were on Corey Goode and if there was any proof

of his claims and information.

I explained to this person that much of what he talks about has been released in a new

T.V. show called Dark Matter and I suggested he watch that as much of what Coreys sources

and his own memory reveal has been featured in this show.

I have written about this show in the past, but only about the first season.

The second season got really, reallyGoode.

It aired on June 1st of this year, after Corey had begun releasing this information.

I was able to verify information from Cobra and his sources with one episode of Futurama

that I watched one night and felt guided to write about.

So if there is anyone that is having trouble with Coreys information I hope I can help

by verifying it with information from this show.

This show features a large majority of the information Corey has released to the public;

slave colonies controlled by a conglomeration of corporations, a malevolent A.I., a media

controlled by said corporations and much more.

The premise of the show is about a group of 6 people who wake up from stasis chambers

on-board a large space craft.

They wake up one at a time and when trying to get to know themselves they designate each

other by which order they woke up from their stasis pod.

Slave Colonies Eventually the group realize they are mercenaries

hired by these corporations to do their bidding; steal technology, gather intel, remove stubborn

people from asteroids that the corporations want for themselves.

They first stop by a near-by independent mining colony and converse with the people there.

The settlers there tell the group that there are these half-human half-reptilian people

who are coming to kill them.

The group later finds out they were hired by a corporation to kill the people of this

colony.

But with their memories wiped, they are much more service-to-others than their past selves

and help the colonists defend their home from the corporation.

German Woman as Chief Inspector of Galactic Authority (Nazi Relevance?)

I believe this part of the show deserved its own bullet point.

We have heard from people other than Corey that the Germans, with the help of some not-so-nice

E.T.s, created a secret space program and were one of the first recent Earth-based humans

to go to the moon.

I added this portion because there is no other character in the show with any other accent

other than this woman who has an obvious German accent.

I figured this was a way for the writers of the show to include information about the

Nazi influence on the various secret space programs.

Android Technology The group enlists the help of the on-board

android which is very human-like and interfaces with the ship, among other functions.

Later on in the show she is given an upgrade from other androids which makes her indistinguishable

from the rest of humans.

I have no doubt this technology exists and I would be willing to bet that Corey may have

heard of it.

Aggressive Artificial Intelligence Corey spoke of an aggressive and malevolent

A.I. that infected and destroyed planets and galaxies in the past.

In the show the crew encounter an A.I. when they activate a back-up holographic android

later in the show.

The A.I. would interface with the crew and cause them to have violent hallucinations

based on fears they all had.

The A.I. caused the android to dream when she was in her regeneration/charging cycle

to distract her while the A.I. took over the ship.

The infected computer was attempting to kill the crew and destroy the android and almost

succeeded.

Clones/Bio-engineered Humans/Nano-Technology One of the main female characters known as

Two discovers that she has nanites coursing throughout her body, giving her incredible

abilities such as regeneration, super strength, intelligence and near-immortality.

At one point Two is spaced out of an airlock and after the episode continues

it is found that she survived thanks to her nanites sustaining her while she was out in

space.

Her body was taken control of at one point by those scientists who created her who worked

for a corporation called Dwarf Star Technologies.

She ends up escaping as she did in the past after defeating an improved version of herself

but in male form.

Just a small note, none other than Wesley Crusher (Wil Wheaton) plays the character

of the CEO of this corporation which was a nice treat.

Experimental Technology The crew of their ship the Raza are

hired by a corporation to steal a piece of technology from another corporation but wasnt

given any details about it.

They eventually find out it is a part of an experimental propulsion system called a BLINK

drive.

Meaning that you could traverse to any point in the Universe in the blink of an eye.

The crew figure out that this drive accesses pockets of inter-dimensional space/time in

order to travel anywhere in the Universe instantaneously.

They realize the potential power of this device and decide to use it themselves but accidentally

travel to a parallel reality, of which they ultimately end up returning to their original

one.

Council of Corporations (ICC, Interplanetary Corporate Conglomerate)

This part almost blew my doors off when I saw it.

In the show there is a Council of Corporations which I equated to the ICC (Interplanetary

Corporate Conglomerate) which is a group of corporations that control colonies, mining

facilities and research and development departments throughout the solar system.

In the final episodes of season 2 there is a massive conflict involving these corporations

that could lead to them warring with each other.

The crew and their BLINK Drive now have the influence and power to change the landscape

of their reality for the better.

They discuss issues of these massive coming changes that Corey Goode has mentioned in

his interviews and information.

In the video below there is a synopsis of the final episode which explains the situation

about the imminent breakout of war among these corporations.

If you wanted to see what this world that Corey talks about looks like, I think this

show is probably a good depiction of what we can expect will be our new reality, only

much more positive and with more extra-terrestrial beings.

Id like to note that the majority of the beings featured in the show are humans.

Future Probability/Pre-Cognitive Enhancement Technology

This dovetails nicely into the next portion of this information which is that the crew

comes in contact with a company which uses a computerized probable future prediction

technology which uses humans connected in a mass consciousness-type configuration while

being fed an seemingly impossible amount of live information in order to predict events

in the future based on current behavior and patterns that are fed into the computer.

The crew encounters these people many times and they are very malevolent.

One very important piece of information that really jumped out at me was one of the main

characters brother Milo, who is a person being used for this future telling/pre-cognitive

enhancing technology, tells the crew that there is a major paradigm shift coming and

that this crew is a part of it.

The video below will begin at the part I just mentioned:

Whats happening in our reality right now is being reflected back to us in this show.

As above, so below right?

We are hearing from Corey, Cobra and others that things are really heating up out there

and that our world is going to change soon.

I believe this is one of many shows that most accurately depicts information from various

secret space programs that are being hidden from humanity but are being funded by us in

various ways.

Cool Technology I was totally blown away by the technology

featured in this show in just two seasons.

During one of the operations to steal a piece of the BLINK Drive the crew does a reconnaissance

mission by going to these stations where there is a tanning bed looking device (Transit Pod)

which creates a copy of yourself which can be sent to any station with another bed.

It is an exact copy of you, but if you get killed you forget everything you did while

in your copied body.

There was a device that was used by one of the characters to override the neuro-link

with the ship that another character was trying to do.

She couldnt use it for long without destroying her mental functions so she had to be fast.

Another thing I would like to note is that during one of the interviews with the characters

they mention the set construction crew were very meticulous about every detail while creating

it.

Were they being instructed by those in-the-know to make the set as close to reality as possible?

Do they already know what everything looks like because it already exists?

It is very possible if we follow the work of various whistle-blowers.

I dont want to give everything from the show away, there is more than I am describing

here but I wanted to verify those main points of Coreys information with the shows

information.

I have to say, this is one of the most understated shows ive seen so far.

There is so much information packed into this show about many things we have been hearing

about and I bet most people havent even heard of it.

The episodes were free for a while on Syfy.com but I have just checked and the only thing

available to watch are episode re-caps.

Both seasons are available on Netflix as of the time of this writing.

But the most important points of information are here in this post.

So thats all I would like to add.

Thank you for reading everyone, much love as always and Victory of the Light!

THE BEST BOOKS OF 2016 [CC] - Duration: 5:46.

Hi Everyone!

My name is Caroline, welcome to my channel CarolineReads,

and today, I'm going to be telling you about the Best Books of 2016.

These are not necessarily books that were published in 2016, they are simply books that

I have read during the year of 2016.

So, the first book I want to talk about is "The Shadow of the Wind" by Carlos Ruiz Zafon.

Boy!

This book BLEW me away this year.

I was amazed by how different it was from the books I usually read, and how enamored

with it I was.

Oh My Gosh!

It's this mystery set in the 1940s, about this boy who discovers this book written by

this author, Julian Castaras or something?

I will write it at the bottom of the screen.

Basically, he's trying to find out what happened to this author, because he can't find another

book published by this author, and it's an amazing book called "The Shadow of the Wind"

(hence the title).

And I was blown away by...there's so much mystery and intrigue, and the historical aspect.

I loved that!

And it's kind of dark, but it's not too dark.

I absolutely loved it!

I discovered it because of the Uncovered Book Club.

I did a review of it actually, and I will post that down below as well as a link to

the Uncovered Book Club.

I definitely need to read more of their books this year.

Another book that really, truly, blew me away this year was "A Court of Mist and Fury" (ACOMAF)

by Sarah J Maas.

Oh!

I'm not going to lie to you, I had SO many problems getting through the first book.

If you're not aware, the series is loosely based off of the Beauty and the Beast.

It starts sort of as a retelling, and then, when you get to A Court of Mist and Fury,

(the second book), it develops on its own.

I had a lot of problems reading the first book, I didn't care that much about it, I

wasn't thinking that much about the characters, I wasn't falling in love with the book!

And I had to take the advice of SO MANY Booktubers who HAD read ACOMAF, to tell me "Caroline,

you have to read ACOMAF, because it will change your life!"

And boy!

It did.

Basically, ACOMAF, I can't tell you anything without spoiling "A Court of Thorns and Roses"

(ACOTAR) or ACOMAF, so basically, like I said, it's a retelling of Beauty and the Beast!

The third book I want to talk to you about, I actually have on my bookshelf!

"The Wrath and the Dawn" by Renee Ahdieh.

Oh boy!

I didn't know what to think about this book!

I won it in a giveaway by MeganPegasus, I absolutely love it.

Also, she gave me a copy, and it's signed by Renee Ahdieh!

And this is my first signed book ever.

This is another retelling, of 1001 Nights.

I love the world it's set in, I love the characters, I love the rich storytelling.

There's something about her writing that pulls you in, it's so descriptive.

I love this book, it's a duology.

The second book is The Rose and the Dagger, that is also a fantastic book.

I didn't do a review of this, sorry, but any reviews or things related to the books that

I mentioned, will be listed down in the description, as well as the cards over there, so check

that out if you want to learn more about my opinions.

This is just a brief overview.

I read this book right at the end of the year, literally I finished it before the year ended,

barely.

But it was, Cress by Marissa Meyer!

The third book in the Lunar Chronicles series.

I just finished Winter, last night, or early this morning, and it was fantastic!

But if you haven't heard, the Lunar Chronicles...boy, Caroline!

What could it possibly be but another fairy tale retelling!

The Lunar Chronicles follows different protagonists.

So Cinder, the first book in the series, is a Cinderella retelling.

The second book in the series, Scarlet, is a little red riding hood retelling.

Third book in the series, Cress, and it's a Rapunzel retelling.

And then the fourth one is Winter and it's a Snow White retelling.

But it's not really a retelling, it's just sort of has aspects of the characters.

It's fantastic!

And it's set in the future, it's very Sci-Fi, the moon is colonized by these people and

they call it Luna, and they have certain powers, and the "Earthens", the people on Earth do

not have these powers.

I love how all of these characters from these different books come together and join the

crew, and I love their relationships and their friendships, and I love how the story is wrapped

up.

I just love it so much.

So...I couldn't put Winter on it, because I started reading it in 2017, but Cress, book

3, blew me away, and that's when I got really interested in the series.

What else did I read this year?

Duh!

Outlander!

This was the year of Outlander.

I started reading Outlander in April on audiobook and e-book.

I finished it over the weekend of July 4.

I got this for Christmas, and I have a video of bookish things I got for Christmas this

year, which I will also link down below.

If you haven't heard of Outlander, it's kind of been taking the world by storm.

It's about this woman, Claire Randall.

After WWII, she and her husband reconnect on their second honeymoon, and during this

time, she is transported back 200 years to 1740s Scotland.

There's a lot of conflict between the Scots and the English.

Claire's learning how to survive in that time, and she uses her skills from "the future"

in the 1940s, to help people in those times, and also she tries to figure out how to escape,

and get back to her own time.

So, it's super adventurous, and I love the tone of it, I love the characters, I love

everything!

Also, the TV series happened, so I got into that as well, and it's wonderful!

Those are just a few of the BEST books that I read in 2016.

I read so many books.

I actually had a Goodreads reading goal of reading 55 books this year, and I read a total

of 78, I believe.

If you want to be friends with me on Goodreads, check out what I've been reading this year,

my reviews, all the things I'm thinking, I will list it down below, all my Social Medias

are also linked down below!

So thank you guys so much for watching, I hope you enjoyed this video, let me know what

your favorite books of 2016 were.

I'm always looking for recommendations.

If you liked this video, please like, comment, and subscribe so you can be notified whenever

I post new videos.

Thank you guys so much for watching, have a wonderful reading day, and I will see you

in my next video.

Bye! :)

How to make Pancakes | Fluffy Pancake Recipe - Duration: 5:01.

This recipe makes the softest fluffiest pancakes and most if not all of the ingredients you

should be able to find in your kitchen.

Pour yourself a cup of coffee and whip these up for brunch this weekend.

Start by measuring out a cup and half of all purpose flour into a large mixing bowl.

This recipe makes enough for 3-4 people so if you are cooking for more just double the

recipe.

You can find a printable version on my website, or check the information box below for the

measurements.

In the same bowl as the flour measure out 4 teaspoons of baking powder.

4 may seem like a lot, but this is the secret to getting the softest, fluffiest pancakes.

As the pancakes cook the baking powder is going to react and create an abundance of

air, getting that perfect pancake texture.

Lastly to the dry ingredients add a pinch of salt.

You can add sugar here as well if you would like, around a tablespoon, but I prefer to

add sweetness with toppings rather than with the actual pancake.

Use a wooden spoon to mix the dry ingredients together until they are combined.

Set the bowl to the side.

In a smaller bowl to mix together the wet ingredients.

First crack in on large free range egg, followed by the milk.

I'm using dairy but you can substitute with soy or almond if you would like.

To the egg and milk add in a 1/4 cup of cooled melted butter.

Use a fork to mix everything together, making sure the egg is well incorporated.

This is optional, but I love a hint of vanilla.

Add half a teaspoon of pure vanilla essence and mix again.

Make a well in flour and pour in the wet ingredients.

Fold the batter together with a wooden spoon until there are no longer any large lumps..

Make sure you're not over mixing as this will lead to your pancakes being quite tough.

I've kept these pancakes quite pain but if you do want to add blueberries or chocolate

chips, or any other flavourings now would be a good time.

When you are ready to cook the pancakes heat a heavy bottomed pan like cast iron over medium

low heat.

When the pan has heated add a small amount of butter to the pan to melt.

Scoop out about a 1/3 of a cup of batter and pour into the pan.

Leave the pancake to spread on it's own and cook for a few minutes.

You'll know it's ready to flip when air bubbles start to form on the top.

If you are unsure just use a spatula to lift up the side and check the bottom.

Flip and cook for a further few minutes on the opposite side.

If your pancakes are browning a little to quickly just adjust the heat.

Place the cooked pancake on a plate and repeat with the next.

You should get about 6 or 7 pancakes out of this recipe so continue until you are out

of batter.

Top the pancakes with maple syrup and any of your other favourite toppings.

Send me a photo if you try out this recipe, I would love to see your favourite pancake

topping.

Thank you for watching, I hope you enjoyed this recipe and I will see you in my next

video.

Bye.

OF THAT THING, IF YOU HAND IT OFF AND NO LONGER MAKE MONEY YOU

NEED TO ACCOUNT FOR THAT FOR BUDGETARY PURPOSES.

IF YOU ARE

BEING RESPONSIBLE.

THEY DON'T FEEL THE NEED TO DO

THAT --

WHICH IS INTERESTING BECAUSE YOU CAN WRITE THE LITERAL WORDS

IT SHALL NOT BE CONSIDERED TO BE DECREASING REVENUES, BUT REALITY

DOESN'T AGREE AND IT WILL BE DECREASING REVENUES.

SO IN THE

SAME WAY WE TALKED ABOUT YESTERDAY WHEN CENK WAS ON THE

FIRST HOUR THAT THEY HAVE TAKEN AWAY THE LIMITATION ON HOW MUCH

LEGISLATION CAN INCREASE THE DEFICIT, SO THEY CAN DO AWAY

WITH OBAMACARE, ONCE AGAIN WE WANT TO DO THIS, WHAT DO WE CARE

WHAT IT COSTS?

WE WON'T EVEN CONSIDER IT AS DECREASING REVENUE.

WHAT IS UNCLEAR TO ME IS HOW MUCH OF AN IMPACT THIS WILL HAVE

ON FEDERAL LAND THAT IS USED FOR CONSERVATION.

WILL THAT ALSO

HAVE AN IMPACT, OR NO?

SOME FEDERAL LANDS ARE LITERALLY SET UP AS MONUMENTS,

WE GAVE PRESIDENT OBAMA A TON OF CREDIT A WEEK OR TWO AGO WHEN HE

MADE SOME MORE BIG MONUMENTS, THOSE ARE STILL RELATIVELY

PROTECTED.

IT'S NOT IMPOSSIBLE THAT THEY COULD REMOVE THAT

STATUS AND THEN SELL THEM, BUT AS OF NOW THEY CAN'T SIMPLY SELL

THEM TO EXXON OR WHATEVER.

BUT THERE ARE LARGE AMOUNTS OF LAND

THAT STILL HAVE EITHER NATURAL BEAUTY OR ARE USED FOR TOURISM

OR GRAZING OR WHATEVER.

THOSE COULD THEORETICALLY BE HANDED

OVER.

WHEN REPUBLICANS TALK ABOUT WHY THEY WOULD WANT TO DO

THIS, THE EXCUSES THAT USUALLY GIVE OUR SOME OF THOSE ARE

LAYING DORMANT OR TOO EXPENSIVE TO MAINTAIN, OR IT WOULD BE

BETTER IF STATES MANAGED TO THEM.

AND I BET YOU COULD FIND

EXAMPLE FOR THAT IS THE CASE.

BUT IN A LOT OF CASES THEY WANT

TO HAND THEM OVER TO STATES SO STATES CAN SELL OFF MINING

RIGHTS AND OIL-PRODUCING RIGHTS AND ALL THAT.

SO AREAS THAT ARE

NOW TECHNICALLY YOURS, THAT IN A LOT OF CASES CAN BE USED BY YOU

AS AN AMERICAN CITIZEN, WILL NOT NECESSARILY BE ABLE TO IN THE

FUTURE.

SOME COMPANY WILL DIG THE COPPER OUT OF THEM OR PUT UP OIL

WELLS AND THEY WILL BENEFIT AND WE WILL PRETEND IT NEVER

EVEN COST US ANYTHING.

AND OF COURSE IT WILL HAVE A TERRIBLE ENVIRONMENTAL

IMPACT AS WELL.

ALMOST CERTAINLY.

THESE COULD BE GIGANTIC NEW SITES FOR

FRACKING.

AND THE REASON IT BOTHERS ME IS, AGAIN, WE WERE

TALKING ABOUT THIS YESTERDAY, THEY ARE NOT HIDING THEIR

PRIORITIES.

THEY SEE AMERICA AS A GIGANTIC PIGGY BANK AND THEY

ARE READY TO SMASH IT OPEN AND PROFIT.

WE ARE SO LAX ON

CAMPAIGN FINANCE THAT IN TERMS OF THEIR POLITICAL CAMPAIGNS

THEY HAVE BEEN PROFITING FOR A LONG TIME, AND WE TURN A BLIND

EYE TO MOST OF THEIR LOBBYING SO THEM BECOMING RICH AFTER THEY

LEAVE OFFICE, WE'VE ALLOWED THAT TOO.

BASICALLY THE LAST THING WE

WERE STOPPING WAS THEM, IN THE STYLE OF RUSSIAN OLIGARCHS,

SIMPLY TAKING ALL OF OUR SHARED RESOURCES AND TURNING IT INTO

MONEY FOR THEMSELVES AND CAMPAIGN DONORS.

AND THEY ARE

NOT EVEN WAITING A FULL WEEK TO DO THAT.

HUGE SWATHS OF LAND

THAT YOU CAN LITERALLY NOT GET BACK AFTER YOU DESPOILED THEM

JUST BEHEADED OFF THE RESPONSIBLE ACTORS AROUND THE

COUNTRY OR THEORETICALLY TO COMPANIES AS WELL.

THIS IS THE

STUFF THAT CENK AND I WERE TALKING ABOUT, THESE RULES

CHANGES THAT MIGHT SEEM BORING, BUT ARE OF MASSIVE CONSEQUENCE,

AND AS FAR AS I'VE SEEN ARE RECEIVING ALMOST NO COVERAGE IN

THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA.

THE ETHICS COMMISSION, THANKFULLY, THEY

TALKED ABOUT, BUT THINGS LIKE THIS IN THE LONG RUN COULD

ACTUALLY BE MORE IMPORTANT TO COVER, BECAUSE YOU CAN'T BE

INVESTIGATED FOR CORRUPTION IF YOU HAVE LEGALIZED THE

CORRUPTION SO YOU CAN SIMPLY SELL FEDERAL LANDS.

EXACTLY.

What Is A "Good Relationship" With Other Countries? e.g. The U.S. and Russia or Israel? - Duration: 6:15.

Hi, it's Alex!

Today I want to ask the question:

"What does it mean to have"

"a good relationship between two countries?"

I've been sparked to think about this

by some of the stuff that I see in the news,

some of the stuff in particular

that has been going on with Russia

and also with Israel.

And I see a lot of these

really simple statements being made

where people are like

talking about having a "good" relationship with Russia,

or a "good" relationship with Israel.

I see all this controversy about

the Russians potentially hacking or influencing

the U.S. election.

And then I see Trump and Trump supporters

responding to this.

And one of the things I see Trump saying

over and over again

is that he wants us to have a

"good relationship" with Russia.

I want us to question what that means.

I think it's important that we don't think of

having a "good relationship" with a country

in too simple terms.

I personally believe that a good relationship

is a pretty deep thing,

and it is not the same as a relationship

where you blindly agree with

whatever the other party does.

So in the case of a country,

I don't think a good relationship is one where

you blindly support whatever actions

the government of that country takes.

I think good relationships are really deep.

They involve a variety of different things.

So, when you're talking about countries,

I think they involve a degree of

understanding of each others' culture

and respect for each others' culture.

They involve having people in each country

who speak each others' language,

having ties, economic ties, trade,

business relationships between the countries.

It's a very multifaceted things.

And if you're talking about

the diplomatic relationship,

I think it involves having a degree of trust

where you can freely criticize each others' actions

without necessarily jeopardizing the relationship.

One of the things that I see

in the current atmosphere,

especially between Russia and Israel,

Israel is probably an even more extreme example of this,

is this idea that

in order to have a "good relationship",

with a country,

we need to support or condone their actions.

Like, if you had a friend,

and the friend got really angry with you

whenever you questioned or disagreed with

anything that they said,

are they really a good friend?

Like do you really have a good relationship

with that person?

This is how I feel about Israel right now.

Like, people are talking as if

the U.S. has had a "good relationship"

with Israel for some time,

but look at what happened recently.

There was this U.N. security council vote

to condemn Israeli settlements.

And, the U.S. didn't vote in support of this,

the U.S. abstained from it,

so we basically declined to veto it.

And, Netanyahu, and others in the Israeli government,

the current Israeli government,

were absolutely livid about this,

they got really really angry,

and they said all this awful stuff about the U.S.

and about the United Nations.

And like, is that a good relationship?

I think that if we had actually had

a good relationship with Israel,

from the beginning,

we would have been able to criticize them,

without them just freaking out on us,

which is what they did.

I want us to have a good relationship with Israel,

and a good relationship with Russia,

but I think it's important for us

to think about what that means,

and look at it in a deeper light.

I think that there is significant evidence

that Russia has interfered somehow in our election.

I don't know the details

and I don't want to jump to conclusions

about what actually went on.

But, the allegations are really serious,

and I want us to investigate it.

And I don't want us to be talking

as if having a "good relationship" with Russia

necessitates ignoring that.

Like, that is crazy,

that approach is lunacy.

If you are thinking about individuals,

I think the same is true for countries,

if you want to have a good relationship with someone,

I think you need to be assertive

when that person is doing something to hurt you,

and I think you need to be assertive

and speak up when they are doing something

that you strongly disagree with

on like a moral or ethical level,

like if you see them hurting someone else,

hurting themselves.

With countries, Russia has done some things

that I think are really bad.

And I think it's important for us

to stand up and be like:

"Hey, we don't like that you're doing this."

And to take actions to influence them

so that they stop doing those things,

whether they're things that influence us negatively,

things that hurt us,

or things that hurt other people, other countries.

I still want us to have a good relationship

with Russia though.

Like I want us to be able to

influence each other positively.

I want them to be able to criticize us.

I want us to be able to criticize them,

without it jeopardizing everything

about our relationship.

Same goes for Israel.

Same goes for any country.

I want us to start thinking about

having good relationships with other countries

in a deeper level.

So, if you like this, I would encourage you,

if you agree with these ideas,

I would encourage you

to start talking about these things more,

and when you hear someone say

having a "good relationship" with a country

to mean agreeing with or condoning

everything that that country does,

challenge it.

Be like: "Hey.

You are talking as if"

"having a 'good relationship' means"

"agreeing with everything that that country does."

"I don't think that's true."

And share some of the ideas I just shared with you.

I hope you find this helpful.

Thank you!
