Why The Flu Causes Aches & Pains - Duration: 4:05.

Ugh, my muscles… why do they feel so… achey.

*cough* If you say more research is needed I'm going to kick you.

Howdy sickos, I'm Trace, thanks for watching!

IT'S FLU SEASON EVERYBODY!

Congratulations.

If you didn't get your flu shot this year (or even if you did), here's a warning:

YOU COULD GET SICK.

No one exactly knows why influenza viruses hit in the colder months.

They may survive and circulate better in cold, dry air;l our immune systems may be weaker

thanks to a lack of sunlight in the winter or; perhaps, it's simply because thanks

to the cold we spend more time in close quarters, and thus, spread the virus more easily.

Once you've got the flu, however, chances are you'll get some of the symptoms: fever,

headaches, sore throat, runny nose, muscle aches and so on!

The thing is, I get fevers and headaches (your hypothalamus raises your body temperature

to make viruses less comfortable, and the heat causes dilation of vessels in your brain

adding pressure).

I also get runny noses and sore throats (your nose is pushing mucus like crazy to wash pathogens

away from the body, and the back of the throat is popular for infectious colonies, and immune

cells rush to the area, inflaming it and causing pain).

Fun fact: 90 percent of sore throats are caused by viruses, not bacteria; which means only

10 percent of the time will antibiotics help you; that said, those bacterial sore throats

are serious!

Basically, most of your symptoms aren't the flu, but the immune response -- and muscle

and joint pain is the same.

If you're thinking, damn, my immune system is causing all this terribleness, you're

not alone.

We're all right there with you.

The immune system is the last line of defense so it doesn't really do half-measures.

It just POW!

GETS AT IT.

Anyway, you've probably guessed by now, but muscle aches are thanks to the immune

system too, but in a much cooler way.

Muscle aches are called myalgia, and in studies, as many as 94-percent of people with the flu

get them.

The immune system's army contains a variety of cells, but when it comes to these myalgic

issues we really only care about a few….

Let's say the immune system corners some virus in your thigh muscle.

The antibody narcs show up, and bind with the virus, tagging it for attack and keeping

it from infecting other cells.

Once the virus is tagged, histamine shows up -- it's is part of our allergic reaction

system.

The histamine dilates the vessels in the area, and gets them ready for the big guns… the

macrophages (a.k.a the famous white blood cells)!

These macrophages get in there and start eating and attacking the tagged pathogens, and try

to eat any infected cells.

The thing is, thanks to studies done on patients with arthritis, we know macrophages tend to

leave behind chemicals which aren't super comfortable.

Cytokines are a family of proteins secreted by immune system cells.

During influenza attacks, one, called interleukin-6 (IL-6) is all over.

IL-6 is associated with inflammation and causes soreness.

So, when the white blood cells show up, they ravage the area, and leave the IL-6 in their

wake, which your body has to clean up.

There's not much you can do about muscle and joint aches, except give them a rest.

Some people massage their achy joints and muscles, some use warm blankets… fluids

always help.

But if you're really concerned ask your doctor… we're not specialists.

Here's something to contemplate while you're laying in your bed hating your own immune

system for making you feel so bad.

One: Evolution may have created the pain, inflammation and whatnot to keep you from

spreading the sickness to others, and to force you to rest so your body can fight the infection.

Cool, right?

And Two: influenza has been part of the human experience since before history was history.

In fact, it was first described by the father of western medicine, Hippocrates, in 412 BCE!

If anything?

You're just participating in the grand tapestry of human suffering.

Congratulations no go make a hot tea.

After all that, I hope you got your flu shot.

You should watch this video to figure why you should have done it.

But if you didn't, tell us about it in the comments.

Why didn't you get that shot?

One Pot Baked Chicken and Sauerkraut ~ Easy & Healthy Recipe - Duration: 3:13.

I'm Tess and tonight I will show you how

to make a simple and healthy dinner.

Oven baked chicken with sauerkraut.

Stay tuned.

Sauerkraut is very healthy for you. It is

a fermented cabbage that is rich in probiotics.

It helps boost the immune

system, aids in digestion plus a lot of

other health benefits.

My family used to make sauerkraut by

the big crock fulls. We just love it and there are

a lot of dishes that you can make with

sauerkraut and this is one of them.

So let's get started. Some sauerkraut

brands can be very salty.

Mine was so I rinsed and drained the

sauerkraut before putting in my baking dish.

I have my oven preheating to 375 degrees.

And by the way, you can find this

recipe and the list of ingredients in the

description box below.

I'm adding in some sliced onions, some

baby carrots and one granny smith apple.

The apple will break down and add some

sweetness which is a nice contrast to

the sauerkraut. You can use any apple

that you have on hand.

I'm not adding any salt because of the

sauerkraut and in goes some black pepper...

and a little celery seed... and that's it!

Giving everything a good mix.

Tonight I'm using bone-in chicken thighs

that I've taken off the skin and trimmed.

You can leave the skin on but tonight I

am making a healthier choice. Placing the

chicken on top of the sauerkraut...

covering and baking at 375 degrees for

30 minutes and then we will come back.

It's been 30 minutes and the kitchen is

really smelling good!

Removing the chicken from the oven,

giving it a flip, recovering and back in

the oven for another 30 minutes.

It's been 30 minutes and the chicken is done!

I'm letting it rest for 10 minutes

before serving.

I usually make mashed potatoes with this

dinner but tonight I'm serving with

baked potatoes. I just love all the

flavors in this rustic and basic dish...

very comforting.

You can see there's not much liquid or

broth. If you wish you could add about a

half a cup of water or chicken broth.

You can even cut up the potatoes and let

them cook in the baking pan...it's all good!

I hope you give this easy

one-pot chicken meal a try. If you like

this chicken and sauerkraut recipe,

How to Get Email Subscribers from YouTube - Duration: 8:46.

how to get free email leads

everybody wants to get leads off free

traffic but it's typically a lot harder

than people make it out to be or has

been for me some people get lucky maybe

some people are good at it

some people already have a following so

they can get leads but nothing lead you

really can't have a following

so you're gonna be starting from scratch

one of the things that I've been doing

for the last couple months not really on

purpose just a couple of things that I

kind of stumbled upon was creating these

what I want to call little micro funnels

so for instance let me go to my youtube

channel here because I was having good

luck with getting views and my

slideshare account so if you look here

here's my slides your account you know

month ago I have a hundred 94 views on

this presentation 34 views in this

presentation I just made these

presentations now they've clickable

links let me open this one up and you

know people can watch them it's really

good SEO the shopping search engines

really really high because different

content so I wanted to make a video

saying this was an underutilized traffic

method online so what I did is I created

a video right here how to get free

traffic with slideshare and kind of give

a quick overview and then said hey if

you want to see how I make these

SlideShare presentations how i upload

them i created a little video and you

know if you want to get it click the

link in the description so i have the

description my video here and it's only

been up since august 30 so little bit a

hundred 23 views so not not a ton but I

didn't know promotion on this i don't

even really look at the keywords or or

the you know any video SEO to try to

name that properly and that goes to this

squeeze page here so if you login you

get access to my free slideshare secrets

video so that's kind of a micro final so

this basically once you once you sign in

you go right to the video page and then

you you go onto my slideshare list so

i'll show you kind of what that looks

like in the background i created one

more of these called drop card marketing

so drop card marketing's where you

create these little drop cards and then

you go around town you got them all you

know the theater and you drop the man

has your URL in there and some type of

call to action so I was saying hey this

is how you do it if you want to get my

drop card template so you can print out

your own drop card templates and you

know and then show them how to use it

how to print it go to the right here in

the description of the video i have

another link which goes to this squeeze

page here and discover drop cards secret

bra put in email and again you get

redirected to the page where I have my

drop cards and get the actual word

template of the drop car itself so if i

go back to the video i have 64 views

shuttles more than that but and I've

been getting subscribe leads from this

so if i go to my ears my get response

here's drop card and SlideShare so

that's what's associated with my drop

card funnel and massage chair funnel and

so since

I want one of these videos been up here

since October so October in August drop

cards have 22 some options and 12 for

slideshare so not a ton but I did

absolutely nothing to get these leads i

did market this video didn't do anything

you know I don't even have a really high

amount of views on this page so if you

think about it the opt-in rate or the

conversion rate is high i'm not selling

anything I'm just trying to get him into

this funnel and then I get him into this

final i sent him an email saying hey get

you know here's the the drop car

template here's the video so you want to

give them what they're asking for

and after that so if i go to my

automation in my get response here and i

put everybody in two separate list so

here's the drop card one so let me open

so when you come in so here's what it

looks like an maybe looked more

confusing but it's not that hard to

build they subscribe from drop card via

the API or the form i tagged them seeing

from drop cards so that lead his tag

when he's in my autoresponder and then I

waited day so I send them one email

saying hey thanks for up again here's a

drop card template and then i moved them

to my other lists where there's no

different different types of females in

there i can put into getting the

listener i can put them into a different

day of my autoresponder i see i have

that massive slaughter responder here

like 90 days and you know these leads

that I get without doing anything or the

ones that are the most responsive you

know and I got these for absolute

nothing you know as you can see i barely

have any views you know I didn't

pay to get any of using this on these

videos you know i'm i'm barely doing

anything as you can see and again I

don't have a tunnel leads but they just

pull it up here i have like 10 a month

since i've been doing this so you don't

I call this microphones because it's

basically create something that people

want to create a little capture page i'm

doing this all from landing page monkey

and then i redirect them to another page

which I host my blog in this case it's

squeezed finals but I could do it all

within landing page monkey

I don't even need to have a website and

will host the site for you i have a

little tracking link on their second too

many times it gets clicked and then

obviously i get notified when i get an

option from get response so i'm going to

create more these little micro funnels

and give away things that people want

whether it's tools whether it's some

type of PDF on how to do something or

short videos people seem to love these

it's a great way to get leads you know

i'm not selling anything immediately i'm

giving them what they ask for and then

they're getting on my list you know and

then i can engage with some they can

subscribe to my youtube channel like

connectors on my facebook whatever you

want to do so just wanted to show how we

doing this

nothing earth-shattering but it's really

cheap to do as long as you have an

autoresponder and some type of landing

page creator landing page monkey is what

i use it's a one-time fee can host the

landing pages then I like I said you can

put the video on a page within landing

page monkey toasted for you don't need

your domain no one else pay monthly

feeds it's really cheap anyways hope you

guys like that if you did subscribe to

my channel give this a thumbs up comment

love to hear from you

and we will talk to you later

How to Grow a YouTube Channel FAST: Top 5 YouTube Tips for 2017 - Duration: 6:19.

YouTube has changed, again.

And again.

But you can stay ahead of the curb moving into 2017 with these 5 ways to grow your YouTube

channel and audience quickly with the new YouTube algorithm changes.

Let's take a look.

My name is EposVox and I've worked for a YouTube MCN for the past 3 or so years and

I've been YouTube Certified in Audience Growth for the past 2 years.

I've been on YouTube in various forms and fashions since the beginning.

All of this experience has led me to help coach some pretty awesome channels and now

I'm giving my tips and tricks to you.

Here's my top 5 ways to grow your audience and your YouTube channel in 2017.

These first 3 tips relate directly to the new YouTube algorithm changes and what it

focuses on most, while the last 2 are best practices that I will always recommend to

grow a channel.

I like to give a lot of valuable info for each point, so I will have timecodes in the

description for each tip.

Starting with number 1 - If you really want your channel to grow quickly, you need to

have daily uploads.

Used to, we would recommend that people upload at least once a week to run a channel at all,

with ideal schedules being 3 days a week.

Now, I honestly recommend trying to post every single day, or at least on all 5 week days.

The new YouTube algorithm focuses on daily active users - which is going to be heavily

influenced by how frequently you post.

So the more days you post on, the better your daily active users statistic is going to be.

Not only that, but every piece of content serves as an entry point to your channel.

Something new for users to discover in search, related videos, or by someone sharing it to

them.

The more videos you make, the better you'll get at it, and the bigger an archive you'll

build up to bring viewers in.

Tip number 2 is to balance your content scheduling between covering trending topics - or "tent-pole

programming" - and creating long-lasting, evergreen content.

These two content types are key to growing a channel on YouTube (or any content platform)

but balancing them is more important than ever.

2016 was the year of trending topics and clickbait.

Entire channels were built, or re-vitalized, on just tent-pole programming and clickbait

alone.

If you talk about current events, relevant issues, game releases, etc. - and do it well

enough, with the right timing - you can rake in some serious views.

However, I don't think that running on trending topics alone will be as viable in 2017.

More people than ever will be using this tactic, and thus competition will be high for just

about any topic area.

And it's super easy for independent channels to get beat out by channels with full teams

behind them who can move much quicker on a topic.

Secondly, YouTube continues to implement changes that takes the focus more and more away from

subscribers and subscription views, and more on related videos.

Subscribers are the driving force behind the metrics that can get a tent-pole video ranking

in search and related videos - and if less subs are seeing your video, that video may

be less likely to do well.

Instead, I feel a strong balance between both tent-pole programming and creating longer-lasting,

evergreen content that will get views over a long time will do best for your channel,

and this is due to the change YouTube has made for tip number 3.

Emphasis on overall "watch time" and audience retention has pivoted to instead focus on

overall "watch minutes."

This is literally what it sounds like - the total number of minutes watched that a video

generates.

From 2015 to early 2016, the focus was on audience retention - so we saw a lot of channels

grow by releasing 3 minute videos that viewers would consistently watch 100% of.

YouTube switched later in the year to watch minutes and those same channels went from

3 minute videos to videos just over 10 minutes in length.

Now, it doesn't matter if viewers watch 100% of your video or only 25% - what matters

is how many total minutes they watched in the video.

So for tip number 3, that's what you should focus on in your videos - getting people to

watch as many minutes of your video content as possible.

Now, I don't mean to just go and make a ton of super long videos - if your videos

are boring, people still won't watch much of them, and it still won't help you.

Instead, you've got to play to your strengths.

If you make really good, short and concise content that lots of people watch all the

way through - keep doing that.

Lots of playthroughs and shares will add up.

If you can balance your content out and keep people engaged throughout longer videos, make

those.

Or, if you can spin your content into a series and get people watching through entire playlists

- even better!

The system is designed specifically to not be gamed.

So this isn't a cheap trick you can just "do" and gain success magically.

Your content still has to be good, and worth watching in the first place.

Always remember that.

Alright, tip number 4 is to focus strongly on crafting catchy, click-worthy titles.

I'll say it - clickbait.

Here's the thing about clickbait, though - it's not all bad.

What people actually have a problem with is misleading clickbait.

That feeling when you open up a website or video only to find that it has nothing to

do with what you were expecting based on the title or headline.

That is not okay.

But otherwise, the masses of people on the whole jump right at clickbait of all kinds

every hour.

News articles, websites, videos, tweets - the art of creating a title worthy of being clicked

on is actually very important.

So instead of keeping boring titles out of principle or some romantic sentiment to "how

things used to be" - it's a smart idea to make your titles as catchy and click-worthy

as possible if you have any hope of competing in 2017.

Then let your content deliver on the title's promise.

Lastly, following in line with the last tip, catchy thumbnails are more important than

ever.

Your video needs to stand out visually, with the title and thumbnail playing well together.

The thumbnail should prominently feature the subject of your video, with minimal text.

Don't just type your video title overtop the thumbnail - that's what the title is

for in the first place.

Instead, add to the overall impression that the title and thumbnail create together.

You have to find a balance between time spent on your thumbnails and overall results gained

- but better thumbnails will almost always result in more clicks.

But again, don't mislead anyone.

And that's it!

Do you really think this is possible?

I don't have that faith... to be honest.

Strange Shades | Eli Hughes - Duration: 3:06.

Everything belongs inside a box and on each box there is a different lock.

Everything is black and white or some strange shade of grey,

but nothing is as perfect as they say.

Everything they say is just more sound.

We never can get both feet off the ground.

They say that we will never get ourselves away from here.

We're tethered to our own Earth's atmosphere.

Everything we hate to love is somehow all we know

And everyone we thought we loved have all started to go.

Everything we hate to love is somehow all we know

And everyone we thought we loved have all started to go.

Everything belongs inside a box and on each box there is a different lock.

Everything is black and white or some strange shade of grey,

but nothing is as perfect as they say. and nothing is as perfect as they say.

Nothing is as perfect as they say.

So that was a song.

That I wrote.

Pretty proud of it.

Give it a like, if you liked it.

Watch my last video over there somewhere, follow me on twitter down here because it

gives me life, or you can subscribe to my channel because...

Okay bye!

Bye everybody.

Right To Disconnect Laws Explained - Duration: 3:56.

BEGINNING ON JANUARY 1 OF THIS YEAR, FRANCE ENACTED A NUMBER OF

LOSS THAT I WOULD ARGUE SOME AMERICANS WOULD BE JEALOUS OF.

ONE OF THOSE LAWS IS THE SO-CALLED RIGHT TO

DISCONNECT LAW WHICH WOULD ALLOW EMPLOYEES TO SET BOUNDARIES

WITH THEIR EMPLOYERS WHEN IT COMES TO CHECKING EMAILS OR

TAKING PHONE CALLS AFTER WORK HOURS.

THE WAY THAT THIS LAW IS IMPLEMENTED IS KIND OF UP

TO THE EMPLOYEES IN THE EMPLOYER'S.

A KIND OF CREATES ROOM FOR NEGOTIATION.

ESSENTIALLY THE NEW PROVISION IN THE LABOR LAW DOES NOT BAN

WORK-RELATED EMAILS AFTER WORK HOURS OF COURSE, BUT IT

DOES REQUIRE THE COMPANIES WITH MORE THAN 50

EMPLOYEES NEGOTIATE A NEW PROTOCOL TO ENSURE THAT

WORK DOES NOT SPILL INTO DAYS OFFER AFTER WORK HOURS.

FOR INSTANCE, SOME CONSULTANTS HAVE RECOMMENDED THINGS

INCLUDING THAT EMPLOYEES AND MANAGERS AVOID REPLY ALL

FUNCTIONS ON THEIR EMAIL.

DOES EVERYONE AT TYT HERE THIS, BY THE WAY?

DOES EVERYONE HEAR THIS?

REPLY ALL SHOULD BE BANNED.

BUT WHAT IF YOU'RE MAKING A FUNNY JOKE?

I DON'T WANT TO KNOW YOUR FUNNY JOKE.

BUT WHAT IF THE JOKE IS FUNNY THOUGH.

SOME OF THEM ARE REALLY FUNNY.

RARELY THOUGHT I WANTED TO IT, NO REPLY ALL.

ANOTHER PROTOCOL SETS A TIME EACH EVENING AFTER WHICH

EMPLOYEES ARE NOT REQUIRED TO REPLY.

SOME EMPLOYEES DESIGNATED A 10 HOUR PERIOD, OTHERS 12

HOURS BETWEEN 7 PM AND 7 AM.

ESSENTIALLY THIS IS A WAY OF ALLOWING EMPLOYEES TO KIND

OF TAKE BACK THEIR PERSONAL LIVES AND NOT FEEL LIKE

THEY ARE GOING TO DEAL WITH REPERCUSSIONS IF THEY DON'T

ANSWER EMAILS AFTER WORK HOURS.

THIS IS BIG AND I KNOW THIS IS SOMETHING THAT BOTHERS PEOPLE

BUT IT WAS A FOR ME PERSONALLY OF THE MANY THINGS OF WORK

AT ANY JOB OR PARTICULARLY THIS JOB THAT YOU BOTHER ME,

THIS IS IT HIGH ON THE LIST.

I'M ALWAYS ON MY COMPUTER ANYWAY.

THERE'S NO DIFFERENCE FROM MY POINT OF VIEW.

BUT I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS REALLY DOES BOTHER YOU AND FOR

SOME PEOPLE, SOME OF US OUR MINDS ARE ALREADY FRAGMENTED

FROM THE CONSTANT CHECKING OF ALL OF OUR SOCIAL MEDIA THAT

ADDING ONE THING DOESN'T CHANGE MUCH BUT IF YOU WERE TRYING TO

HAVE A WORK FREE WEEKEND, HAVING THAT ONE EMAIL WAS SOMETHING

THAT YOU HAVE TO DO RIGHT THEN COULD BOTHER YOU.

WE ARE IN A UNIQUE SITUATION BECAUSE WHILE WE DO GET

THOSE AFTER-HOURS EMAILS AND WHILE WE DO WORK AFTER

HOURS QUITE A BIT, I DON'T THINK THAT WE WORRY ABOUT PUNISHMENT

AS MUCH AS OTHER PEOPLE WORKING FOR OTHER COUNTRIES.

JUST BECAUSE I'M NOT BOTHERED BY IT DOESN'T MEAN I

BEGRUDGE OTHER PEOPLE FORGETTING RIGHT TO OPT OUT OF IT.

I THINK IT'S PROBLEMATIC WHEN YOU'RE FREE TIME IS

CONSUMED WITH THIS.

I'M SORRY, I HAVE TO ANSWER THIS EMAIL REALLY QUICKLY.

I HAVE TURNED NOTIFICATIONS FOR EMAIL OFF ON MY PHONE.

I NEVER GET NOTIFICATIONS FOR EMAIL.

I CHECK IT REGULARLY EVEN WHEN I AM NOT WORKING BUT IT BECOMES A

HUGE DISRUPTION IN YOUR LIFE AND IT LOWERS, WHETHER YOU REALIZE

IT OR NOT, IT LOWERS YOUR QUALITY OF LIFE CONSIDERABLY

BECAUSE IT GETS IN THE WAY OF PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS.

ALL OF A SUDDEN YOUR CONSUMED WITH THE TASK THAT YOU

DIDN'T EXPECT TO DO AFTER WORK AND NOW YOU HAVE TO.

BY THE WAY, THAT IS JUST ONE EXAMPLE OF IT.

PHONE CALLS OR ANOTHER EXAMPLE.

I THINK THE REPLY EMAILS, IT'S NOT JUST A PERSONAL GRUDGE,

IT FEEL FILTER EMAIL BOX WITH SO MUCH CRAP AND I ALREADY

DEAL WITH SO MUCH.

PLEASE DON'T EMAIL ME.

Chronic Illness Sufferers Want You To Know & Exciting News | Sophie - Duration: 12:08.

please don't judge a book by its cover

please understand that you know not all

illnesses are visible.

oh, and on a complete side note, if you are bored and

haven't had some spare time on your

hands and watch some TV totally

recommend watching 'Jane The Virgin', I have

have watched like a season and a half in

like a week and i'm not even ashamed

about because it's a really really

awesome programme, bit late to the game,

love it though

perfection... love it.... great actors

actresses. It's really awesome so totally

think you should go watch that

Hello Everybody, welcome back to my channel or if you are

new welcome to my channel and I hope you're well and I hope

you're all having a fantastic start to

the new year and I have some awesome awesome

exciting news

so if you want to hear that news stay

tuned to the end of the video to find

out what it is but, for this video I thought

I would talk about five things a chronic

illness sufferer would love you to know

and understand a bit more, so yeah

let's crack on with the video.

So the first thing on my list is grumpiness and

rudeness and short-tempered irritable

that kind of thing

now before you say anything because I

know you are in your head

we all have those days regardless of

whether we have a chronic illness like

if you think when you're tired or when

you are unwell you get a little bit

grump - de - grump. And I mean we get that too

too, but, our's is just obviously on a few more

days than any anyone else. And we

feel horrible about it i know i have

said some really horrible things to my

parents and my family and i really don't

mean to and I don't like it and I feel

bad and I don't think, 'oh I am unwell

I'm gonna get away with it

and I always do apologize and you

have to understand that i know people

said oh it is all very well being sorry

and stuff but

don't do it if it was that easy it would

be done

And number two is one that I

absolutely

oh I hate. I know when I was at school I

had this one girl who would consistently

consistently cancel on me every single time you made

arrangements and I just started to kind

of take it personally that it was like

something that I've done or something was wrong

with me and I want you to know if you're

the person that's being canceled on it

that we don't mean that at all sometimes

life just gets on top of us, our health

takes a bad turn

I'm someone who doesn't like planning too

far ahead for that reason I don't know

what my healths gonna be doing and I

absolutely hate the feeling it gives me

inside and I have to cancel on someone

I hat it soo much. I have found and this

could help you is just ask them to come

and chill with you or if you are the person

remember that although you feel bad

being cancelled on, that person also feels bad

and they start feeling lonely as well

because they can't just go out with

someone else

number 3 - fatigue and being very tired are

two very different things

fatigue is like a million times more

tired and it's like you just feel like

your body has the flu because you're

just so like your body is just

completely drained and it becomes achy

and sore and they're two very different

things so if someone says to you I'm like

I'm really fatigue you know I can't

do go out, they don't just mean ah I'm tired like,

I had a late night last night, like they're two

very very very different things number

four is something that I struggle with

myself daily and if I know it's hard for

other people to understand if you're not

in that position but I'm someone who is

very stubborn if you know me personally

you're on you will know I'm very open

and I am someone who tries to show

myself and others around me that just

because you have a chronic illness

doesn't mean you can't achieve things

you want to you might have to find a way

around it but you can achieve anything

that being said that are things that

sometimes are just not very accessible

for one reason or another and for me

personally it's things like going out

for a meal

I have a lot of problems with food and

eating and moving after food and for me

I just find going out to eat a meal very

uncomfortable. I know someone, she was the

first person I ever spoke to that had

gastroparesis and you know

other illnesses as well

but she was the first person that I ever spoke to and she has

had a lot it a lot worse than I have and she has spent a

lot of months in hospital you know restricted

to a bed and right now she's out there

and she's doing amazing with her swimming

and she is reaching goals and achieving

things swimming that she never thought

would be possible

a year ago, but she pushed herself and she

listened to her body so she didn't push herself too far but, it

became accessible but sometimes there

are things that just aren't gonna be you

know right

there'd been no good me going to a food

tasting thing because you know that's

so unaccessible for so many

reasons so please understand that

sometimes if a chronic illness sufferer says

no to something it could be tiredness, it

could just be that they find that very

unaccessible, but I know that I find hard

to admit that and i find it hard to say

it so I don't, I just they no - which I know is

isn't right

and it's the whole easier said than done thing

And last but not least, Number five is not all illnesses

are visible and i'm sure you've heard me

saying this a hundred thousand times if you have seen a lot of my videos

and it just kind of is what an invisible

illness is. It is an illness that you

can't see it is something going on inside the

body not outside. It's, you know, it's not a

a broken arm that you're in a cast, you are not

necessarily wheelchair-bound I'm sure

you've seen it floating around on the

internet i know i have various times but

it goes with people leaving notes on a

car you know windshield/ windscreen,

I don't know where I'm living these days

and I read one recently and I was hurt

and it wasn't even me that got the

letter. Basically a disabled woman and

her daughter parked in a disabled bay and

went into the shops or wherever it was

they went and what you couldn't see was

that that was a good thing to her and

she actually managed to walk around with

her daughter and she wasn't wheelchair bound

but what you didn't see is you know what

goes on behind the doors what goes on

yesterday what goes on tomorrow, what could

happen when she is halfway walking about

and someone left a note on her car

saying you know I hope you're enjoying

being in a disabled bay and you should be

ashamed of yourself and you know this

that and the other to me that's really

nasty and that's really hurtful because

you can't see what's going on inside

someone's body and you know she was

having a great day she was feeling

relatively ok and she comes back to that

and if you know it goes and in hand in

needing to raise awareness for these

conditions because people are so

judgmental and they just see what they

can physically see, they don't think about you know

what's going on inside

what's going on behind closed doors what

happened yesterday what happened why

what you that ... you don't see. SO...

understand that just because something

isn't visible doesn't make it any less

real than something that

is visibly there. You know having a broken

arm

you can't actually see that broken arm

you on know because there is a cast on it you

know it i find it so frustrating and

it's one of the reasons why i want to

help raise awareness because I i get i

know i get it so much because I do cheer, and

I work and yes I do push myself to do

those things because I want to do them

but like I said, what you don't see is how

I am after cheer, don't see how i am

after a day of work, or a week of work

you don't see you know what happened in

the middle of my day 20 minutes after you

saw me. I've had these

comments and it's hurtful seeing or knowing

others that have had these comments

because it's like you're telling us that

were lying and you don't believe us and

we have a hard enough time getting

doctors to believe us to get a diagnosis

we don't then need it from everyone else and

please don't turn around me and say oh

well you look fine, you must be fine

really....

can you see the you know what's going on

inside my stomach because if you can, you

have awesome vision!

somehow I don't think you can

so yeah... don't judge a book by it's cover

well that is all for this video I hope

you enjoyed it or learnt something or a

mixture of the two and if you did be

sure to give it a big thumbs up and in

order to raise more awareness

be sure to share the video or share

knowledge or research and then show

either or and if you are not already, please

be sure to hit that subscribe button

join my family we could have some more

fun and games and learn and experience

things together because this is the year

for us. AND for my exciting news for a

new year a new start i am now a CheerFit

Ambassador and you may be thinking

what does that mean basically i'm gonna

inspire you guys to be fit and enjoy

cheer or just you know exercising

conditioning in general. I'm going to be

sharing lots of fun exercise tips that I

like to do and conditioning and

stretches if you're a flyer or if you're just

gonna stretch because it is good for you and

yeah we're gonna have a ton of fun this

year we're going to be healthy and

exercise and yeah I thought it would be fun to

be an ambassador, so that is what I am for

this year woo woo. So if you have any exercise

that you love to do definately

be sure to let me know in the

description in the description

nope.. in the comments and just yeah

let's be healthy and exercise More because it is

so good for your body

you have no idea it's good for like

energy, motivation, mind set, your body so

yeah....

I'm going to be showing exercises

for everyone so they are kind of light

exercises that you can make harder or you can

have it easier if you are unable to

them hard, so watch out for those.

So, up over in that corner i'm gonna leave

the link to my last video and right down

there I'm gonna leave a link to one of my other

illness related videos that I've done so

we can learn more and more awareness so

click on them and until next time, keep

watching, Stay Strong and stay safe

Bye Guys xxxx
