prosecutor representing the

United States government in our

article 3 courts, let me get to

a specific issue, a couple.

I was really pleased to hear you

say in your opening statement

that many in law enforcement

feel that our political leaders

have on occasion abandoned them.

You said police ought to be held

accountable.

But do you believe it is ever

under any circumstances

appropriate for somebody to

assault a police officer for

example?

>> No defense for that kind of

action and I do believe that we

are failing to appreciate police

officers who place their lives

at risk as this sergeant was

just killed yesterday trying to

deal with a violent criminal and

vindicate the law and she was

killed.

That is the kind of thing that,

too often happens.

We need to be sure that when we

criticize law officers it is a

narrowly focused on the right

basis for criticism and to smear

whole departments places those

officers at greater risk, and we

are seeing an increase in murder

of police officers, up 10% last

year, so I can just say I could

feel -- I could feel in my bones

how it was going to play out in

the real world when we had what

I thought often times was

legitimate criticism by perhaps

wrong doing by a police officer

but spilling over to an entire

police force and morale has been

affected an affected the crime

rates in Baltimore and Chicago.

I don't think there's any doubt

about it.

I regret it's happening but I

think it can be restored.

We need to understand the

requirement that the police work

with the community and be

respectful of their community

but we as a nation need to

respect our law officers too.

>> Well I for one appreciate

your comments because we ought

to hold our police and law

enforcement officers up in the

high regard to which they

deserve based on their service

to the communities.

And your comments remind me

somewhat of chief David brown's

comments the Dallas police chief

following the tragic killing of

five Dallas police officers

recently where he said that

Sea of Thieves Inn-side Story #10: Co-Op Gameplay - Duration: 3:34.

Every single mechanic's been built to be social

exactly we started with the world map

from a co-op perspective definitely

we didn't want the person on the wheel

to be able to sail the ship and

see where they're going on the map and

do everything all in one splitting it up

so that the world map's on the middle deck

was a deliberate decision so that

the line of sight is broken so a crewmate

needs to go down there have a look

shout up to the guy on the wheel

we need to go north and likewise

not all the information's on the map either

the person on the wheel has some information

the person on the map has other information

all the rocks and smaller nuances of the world design

you have to see them from the wheel

and the person on the wheel might not be able

to see all of the rocks and reefs so

a player in the crow's nest or hanging out

on the front of the ship's going to be able to see

that information so you will need to

work together to give each other the

information that you need to navigate

I think for me the breakthrough was the map

like when I think back to when we were first

prototyping quests it was getting the map in

which was just a singular map at the time

only one person could carry it

and that kind of enforced the social mechanics

around looking at it and showing it to your crew

and I remember the first playtest that we had when

you were showing the map it was awesome

when you were physically showing it to them

and you were seeing them huddled around you

in first-person you were like we're on to

something here we need to build off this

that was the start of it because the co-operative

digging came a lot later actually

didn't it much later yeah

before it was just a singular person digging

so a singular person had the shovel

a singular person had the map

and basically it meant that people were more

kind of forced into roles which we didn't want

we wanted everyone to have the ability to do

any role at any time and that actually just

made it blossom into being even more social

the best type of social that we wanted because

as soon as we gave everyone the shovel it felt like

well let's let everybody dig it up together

and it'll be faster so when you've got to the

treasure and dug it up it doesn't end there

because the minute you dig up that chest

it's only at risk for a certain amount of time

basically that's the crucial thing to remember

it's in your hands if you get it back safely

literally if you get it back safely to

an outpost and sell it to the Shipwright

it's your gold forever it's yours to spend

it's banked it's your gold

but once you've dug it up that's it

if there's somebody nearby if they

shoot you if they kill you or they

overcome you they can steal that from you

it's technically not your gold then anyway

that's what makes it so tense and so enjoyable for me

you kind of naturally just designate roles

oh quick someone protect me

because it's just instinctive to get someone to

follow you with a blunderbuss or with a pistol

or someone might scout ahead a little bit

it was a very deliberate design decision to make

the chest be something that is a shared benefit

for the whole crew so it's something that you will

rally around it bonds you together and

it's something that you all want to protect together

it's great on the other side though as well

there's nothing better than cashing in a chest

that was someone else's hard work

oh yeah

I think that going on the quests is kind of

the culmination of all these

co-operative mechanics where this pirate crew

is bonded together going on an adventure together

yeah with the set of tools that you can all

work together you can all co-operate

collaborate together with this goal of

treasure in mind yeah exactly

That might be quite funny

Don't put that in

How Via the Program Camtasia Studio to Replace the Background in the Video - Duration: 3:49.

Hello friends!

You are again with Larisa Levinskaya.

And today I want to show

How can the program Camtasia Studio

replace background for your live video.

For example, make it such as I have.

Hello!

You again Larissa Levinskaya.

Of course, things were not so nice.

In the source file

the video was like this here.

Green background behind me in a video called

chroma key.

And now I'll give

about chroma key and how to make

quality replacement background

in the program Camtasia Studio.

All in order.

Showing what I did chroma key.

Used for this

the most ordinary crepe-satin

from the nearest shop "fabric".

Emerald-green color.

The size of the material I have

Width of 1.4 metres, standard width.

Length 2.5 m. Me this piece of

It is quite enough.

I have attached to the wall (to bagetu) chroma key

the most common

pins for sewing.

In the distance, approximately, 10-15 cm.

Rests, oddly enough!

Ideally, of course, can't remove

Fabric still synthetic,

fold then again gathered.

But it doesn't bother me when shooting video.

And about the cost

It turned out cheaper than ordering

Since Aliexpress or from another online store

chroma key ready.

Less than 5 United States dollars.

Maybe a 3 dollar

If so take it in detail on the course.

I hope that my experience will be useful

You create your own hromakeja.

And now I'll show you how to program

Camtasia Studio can be removed

This dark green background

hromakeja and replace it with a beautiful

background, which you nebhodim.

I choose in the main menu "file"

"Import media".

Choose the source file

where behind me

chroma key. Here it is.

Right-click

get on this file

and select "Add to the timeline

the point of the playhead.

Zazhimaju Ctrl

and mouse wheel

decrease the length of the file.

Now I choose.

I activate the desired file, select

"Instruments",

"Visual properties".

Select "Delete color".

And now ...

Let's choose the frame, on which I

I am. You see, there is a

a bucket,

You can choose the color.

Since I have a hromakey little shade,

not to be mistaken with a touch,

I you still highly recommend to choose

"Select Color", that is, take a dropper.

The tool "Eyedropper"

And the left mouse button

click on any field

where is your hromakey.

Here he is. Clicking.

You see instantly removed hromakey

painted black.

This channel is zero.

In principle, this is the first step.

Then I find any

I liked the picture.

If I want to have my

the video was recorded in the background

static pictures.

Select "Import Media"

Again I previously found in Google

it on the internet,

For example, here is a picture.

Yes? Select.

Again, choose the right mouse button.

Getting in this picture

and select "Add to timeline

in point playhead".

to picture

fully fit for me,

I'll grab the left mouse button

this picture and gently

pull, pull

over the entire length of the video file.

And another is my advice to you.

Don`t forget that this picture

must be below the level than

Your primary video.

Here in this case, it begins to emerge

through channel zero.

Similarly, one can

do if instead of

static pictures to take and use

any video

In order for it to be your background video.

Similarly you find at Google, stretch

this video along the length of the entire image.

That you will already be able to cope on their own.

I hope you understand that the idea itself.

I hope that today's video

it was helpful to you.

Subscribe to the channel!

Put a marks "Like".

With you was Larisa Levinskaya.

See you soon!

Production of vermicompost - Duration: 3:36.

Purchased the red Californian worm, you can use an ordinary earthworm (California multiplies many times faster but it is more expensive and needs to spend the winter in warmth). Earthworm can be found everywhere, but most of all earthworms can be found in old manure heaps around farm yards, livestock farms of any type, piles of manure left in the field, on old landfills of organic waste in the bottom of a forest ravine beneath the accumulations of last year's leaves. Harvested compost. It can be from any organic material is decomposed leaves collected in the woods, in the garden or rotted sawdust, waste from vegetable waste from Your table (only vegetable), manure of chickens, pigs, rabbits, pigeons, etc. In the finished compost run worms, worms recycle compost into vermicompost. 1 square meter is run 5000 worms. Processing of the substrate is usually about 5 months, with the number of worms increases five... ten times, depending on the thoroughness of the maintenance of optimal conditions. If adult worms periodically to separate, it is possible to further accelerate their reproduction. We calculate income. One worm per day recycles approximately one gram of substrate, with the output of vermicompost to 50%. Think, for 4 months, 5000 worms with 1 square meter, reworking 600 pounds of substrate, give 300 kg of vermicompost or 1800 rubles (the cost of a kilogram of vermicompost in the Irkutsk region about 6 rubles). If on the land to allocate for this case is "1 hundred," it turns out over the summer, well, think for yourself. At the same time it is a periodic watering with water and preparation of the substrate. Vermicompost Packed in bags and deposited in the store. All this can be done in trays in the basement or at the cottage. Worms are used as a very effective feed additive for chickens, pigs, etc., in chickens it increases the number of eggs laid. Young animals when feeding worms intensively developing. From the dried and ground worms preparing food that can be taken to the pet stores.

We Aren't Saving For Retirement. This is Why We Must. - Duration: 2:00.

[1/3 of Americans report they have no retirement savings]

[Disrupt savings: It's time for change]

[Brigitte Madrian] Americans have trouble planning for their future

because it's so much easier to think about your needs and your wants today.

[David Boyle] Let's face it: We don't wake up in the morning

and think, "Gosh, I can't wait to do a budget."

[Matthew Blakstad] I think the visceral reaction a lot of people have

to hearing about retirement savings

is one of fear.

And then coming behind that, I think there's quite often feelings of anger and frustration.

And I have to say, I think the industry's quite strongly to blame

for some of those feelings.

I think the biggest problem with the U.S. system today

is that half of all workers are not participating

in a workplace retirement savings plan,

and for most of those, they don't even have the option

because their company doesn't offer one.

[3 ways to encourage people to save]

There are a lot of things that employers can do

to make it easier for their employees to save for retirement.

Top on the list is automatic enrollment.

Put employees into the savings plan

so they don't have to think about it.

Don't ask people to make so many choices

and don't use a whole lot of jargon in explaining them.

And I think one thing that we find really rapidly helps increase

people's trust and confidence is simply speaking to them

in a language that they understand.

[The real reason to save for retirement]

Most societies are growing older,

and so the burden on an economy in looking after old people

if they're not saving for themselves is simply too great.

It's going to be normal for someone who is in their 20s now

to live well beyond the age of 100.

And we all need to start thinking about how to support people

in later life, not just financially,

but in terms of a good quality of life, maybe a longer working life.

And that's something we all need to start concentrating on today, not in the future.

7 Actors Who Were Almost Cast As Spider-Man - Duration: 4:36.

There aren't many superhero roles that match up to Spider-Man in terms of cultural impact.

Countless hopefuls have auditioned for the part of Peter Parker in his various incarnations

over the years, including some of the biggest and most unexpected names in Hollywood.

We'll never know what might have happened if one of these guys had been cast as Spidey,

but it's fun to wonder.

Here's a look at some actors who were almost cast as Spider-Man.

Heath Ledger

Heath Ledger will forever be remembered for his game-changing performance as the Joker

in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight.

But the late actor could have wound up on the good guys' side if Sony had gotten its

way.

In the wake of his death, Ledger's former agent Steve Alexander revealed that his client

was the studio's number one choice when it came to casting the lead in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man.

The actor was ultimately put off by how little he knew about the character, telling his agent

he would have been "taking somebody else's dream away" if he took the part without fully

appreciating Spider-Man's history.

Jake Gyllenhal

Of course, the part of Raimi's Peter Parker ultimately went to Tobey Maguire, and the

rest is Spidey history.

Maguire was propelled to A-list stardom after the first film stormed to the top of the domestic

box office in 2003, but he almost never made it to the second movie after sustaining a

back injury while filming Seabiscuit in 2003.

Jake Gyllenhaal was drafted to take his place, though he was dropped when Maguire made a

miraculous recovery just in time for shooting.

It isn't the only time Gyllenhaal has narrowly missed out on playing an iconic superhero:

he was also close to playing Christopher Nolan's Batman, only to be beaten to the role by Christian

Bale.

"I'm Batman!"

James Franco

It's not uncommon for an actor to come away from an audition having failed to get the

part that they went for, only to be contacted and offered another role in the picture.

This was the case with James Franco, who read for the lead role in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man

but was ultimately beaten to the prize by Tobey Maguire.

"Oh, look at little Goblin Jr. Gonna cry?"

Franco confessed that he was disappointed when the director called him to let him know

the part had gone to Maguire, though he softened the blow when he instead offered the Freaks

and Geeks star the part of Harry Osborn, son of the Green Goblin and Peter Parker's best

friend.

Franco agreed, and the casting call for Harry was immediately withdrawn.

Daniel Radcliffe

When Tom Holland was announced as the newest Spider-Man, Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe

was among those who offered public congratulations to Holland.

But his compliments may have come through gritted teeth.

Radcliffe went on to reveal that he wanted the part himself while also conceding that

it was now out of reach: "I would have made a good Spider-Man, but the boat has sailed

on that one.

I'm not sure if I'd sign up for something that was another seven or eight films or ten

years, but a shorter franchise, yeah."

He did get to at least out his dream by cosplaying as Spider-Man for Comic-Con, though, so that's

nice.

"You don't go to Comic-Con without going down on the floor and seeing it all, and so the

way I came up with doing that was Spider-Man."

Leonardo DiCaprio

Just because we didn't get a big-budget Spider-Man until 2002, that doesn't mean there weren't

earlier attempts.

One of the big what-ifs in superhero movies is the James Cameron version of Spider-Man,

which the acclaimed director abandoned in favor of Titanic.

Among the stars Cameron considered for the lead role was none other than Leonardo DiCaprio,

who read the screenplay and met with Cameron to discuss the role.

DiCaprio never did get to don those tightie-Spideys, but Cameron gave him a pretty good consolation

prize: the lead role in Titanic.

"I'm the king of the world!

Woo!"

And that's not even the earliest try at a cinematic Spidey...

Tom Cruise

After several failed attempts to negotiate a deal to get Spider-Man swinging onto the

big screen in the late '70s and early '80s, Marvel finally signed on the dotted line with

Cannon Films, a production company known for churning out low-budget action films.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre director Tobe Hooper was signed up to direct a script that actually

saw Peter Parker mutate into an anthropomorphic tarantula.

Tom Cruise was offered the part, opposite Bob Hoskins as iconic Spidey villain Doctor

Octopus...but, unsurprisingly, Cruise decided to pass on the bizarre project.

But wait — it gets even weirder!

Michael Jackson

In 2009, Marvel's legendary Stan Lee told bewildered audiences at San Diego Comic-Con

that Michael Jackson had once invited him to his Neverland ranch to ask about personally

producing a Spider-Man movie, with the late King of Pop intending to take on the starring

role himself.

When Marvel said no, Jackson came up with a new plan: buy Marvel out so he could play

the role!

"When I told him I didn't think the company would sell it, he then wanted to buy Marvel.

'So then I'll buy Marvel!'

I don't know what happened.

Obviously he didn't buy Marvel, but he wanted to very much."

Yikes.

Can a Cruise Ship Employee Bring an Unseaworthiness Claim? Ask a Jones Act Lawyer - Duration: 2:11.

Unseaworthiness means that the ship doesn't have the ability to meet its obligation while

cruising, while moving.

It could be that the hull is broken.

It could be that the wheel doesn't turn.

It could be that they don't have enough chairs and tables or could be they don't have enough

towels.

But whatever is necessary for the operation that the boat is in, to be seaworthy, they

must have adequate supplies.

I've tried a lot of Jones Act cases.

And recently I tried one that was a little unique.

I had a cabin steward whose responsibility is to provide sheets and linens for his customers

and he was being shorted, not given enough sheets of linen to do his job.

So he went over to the manager and said I need to be able to do my job, more towels!

My client by the way is 5'4", a 140 pounds.

The linen manager is 6'6" and 280 pounds.

If you can imagine Shaquille O'Neal the basketball player and then a little horse jockey, like

Schumacher.

So the little horse jockey says more towels please.

And the manager says, I don't have enough towels to go around, get away.

And he says, I need more towels.

And the guy says I told you to get away and you're getting me upset.

Pushes my client.

My client then tries to run away and the Shaquille O'Neal looking guys 6'6" 280 pounds, picks

up my client overhead and throws them into a trolley, bam!

And shattered his leg.

Bowing it out where he's going to need a knee replacement in about two to three years.

And he's only in his mid-thirties.

So we tried that case under two theories.

One, both under the Jones Act, but one that there was a negligent hiring, they should

have known this guy was a brute, he had a history in the past.

And the second thing is, under seaworthiness, because they didn't have enough tools to do

their job, meaning not enough towels and that's actually a seaworthiness violation.

So we were able to convince the jury that we were right and they fully compensated my

client for his losses as a result of that.

How I Organize My Life And Projects (Bullet Journal) - Duration: 9:02.

(pencil writing)

(Pokemon Game Boy sound)

I love this so much.

I finally have my hands on it.

I love it so much. (laughs)

So here is a video that a portion of you

have been waiting for, not all of you.

Not all of you are going to care about this.

But, ahh!

The bullet journals.

I... have a lot.

I have five of them, and all serve a purpose.

There are a lot of things going on in my life right now,

a lot of different projects,

and you gotta organise those,

because I am terrible at organising.

There are so many things in my brain,

so many things that I want to do,

and it's very difficult to do all of them

if you don't have a place to see it, and organise it.

So, this is not like a step-by-step,

extremely in-depth video about how I actually organise,

because even I don't know how to do that quite yet.

Because I'm still trying to find a real system

that works for me.

But, to put it very simply, I at least use the bullet journal system.

Now, I have a lot of planners.

I've gone through the Erin Condren,

which was fine, it was cute, but it was too much money

because all I wanted to do was buy stickers

and decorate them, which just ruined,

it just defeated the purpose of having it.

So I was spending way too much on stickers and I couldn't deal with that.

So then I saw this, I saw a video about the bullet journal.

These add up, but these work for me.

Now, besides these I do have another planner,

a planner from Ruskerville on Etsy,

which I don't have with me right now.

But it is like an everyday kind of

business-y planner or something

that you would find at the store, but it's handmade

because it's from Etsy, and I actually use those.

I use that one for actual events,

like if I'm travelling somewhere and there's a big event,

and there's a lot of stuff happening in the day,

then I would use that because it has

an actual hourly timetable thing.

So, that's for like really professional kind of stuff,

when I really need to get stuff in order.

This, depending on the one I'm pulling out,

yes, it is for that, but this is more like,

I don't know.

Let's just talk about why I have all of these.

So this is the first one that I got,

and it's a black one because I love black.

This was my 2016, starting in like September,

I think was when I started this.

This was my 2016 planner,

this was going to also originally be, this was.

This one also had stuff from Buffer Festival,

when I was planning for that.

YouTube... planning stuff.

I was trying to make a list for Ai-Media,

the different videos I would do for them.

If you go on Youtube, lots of people have

very artistic abilities. I, however, do not.

Toronto itinerary.

I attempted to be artistic by drawing a cat

for my weekly spread.

Yeah, I had YouTube ideas, I had a YouTube list.

So, it just had everything piled up in this,

and that's when I learned,

well, I always knew this, but the reason why I have so many of these

is because I cannot have everything in one notebook.

I have to have everything in its own separate book.

I just, that's why I collected so many notebooks as a kid.

So, that still sticks with me in my adult years.

But I just, I can't, ugh.

So, this was everything, this was YouTube stuff,

articles for my own personal use or whatever,

that kind of stuff.

And as you may or may not know,

I work at DTV News, which is the All-American Sign Language

Voiceover Caption da-da-da news station.

Link down below.

To keep track of the reports that we do,

whether it be the daily news or our special reports,

I keep track of it in here.

And since our news station colour is like a dark blue,

I bought this just to match that.

So really all this has is I have the monthly calendar

that I can keep track of the days that I have off.

Which, it's a news station, so we air Monday through Friday.

But I take Friday and Saturday off,

so I make sure I have that plus if there's any other

random days I take off, in case I'm travelling,

or if my anchor is out, then I have that.

Usually we do, there's a lot of different writers,

and on average I do three stories a day.

Sometimes more, depending.

And yeah, this one's pretty simple.

I would be happy with this one for a long time.

And then I wanted something just for YouTube planning,

having a list of video ideas and if it was a big video,

then I would have everything outlined.

Not necessarily scripted, I keep that on Google Docs,

but for instance, I'm planning VEDA,

Vlog Every Day in April, so I have the questions right here.

It's not finished.

I'm working on an Alexander Graham Bell video,

which is a lot, there's a lot of notes in here.

So, that is there.

And then I, for example.

So each header,

each colorful header is like, not necessarily the title,

but the main thing about what the video is.

Here's my video list,

and then like that birth control video I did,

I kind of outlined what I wanted to talk about

and in what order.

So I didn't want to have it scripted,

to avoid sounding robotic in the video,

but at least didn't want to go completely off track.

So there's that.

And then I have the emerald one.

Honestly, I wanted this because of the colour.

Because I am that person.

But, book writing, book writing.

I'm writing a book.

Hmm, no, I don't have a book deal,

so this is for fun, because I used to write a ton growing up

and I wanted to get back into it.

So why not do a book?

So I have my title page and all that,

that's actually, what is that? Oh, this is my title page

and it's completely empty... What?

I don't know.

But then I have the main info for my book,

and then a brain dump, so anything I think about.

People do this in their personal bullet journals too,

but anything I think about that doesn't fit

in a certain page, I would just stick it in there. I haven't written anything.

Chapter ideas, and an actual outline,

and then for each chapter that I have,

there's little notes that I write in here.

So like the introduction that I would write for the book,

and then talking about, it's a deaf-related book, okay?

So say my diagnosis, I make a chapter on diagnosis,

and then I write what I want to write in that chapter. And it just.

Identity, dating, that all has their own little chapters there.

And then, the white one.

My brand new one that I bought like a week ago.

2017.

I have a lot of leftover pages in this one,

like I've only hit like 50 pages,

but like I said, I'm that person.

I need to start fresh for the new year, I just do.

But I'm still going to use this,

for if I have colored pencils,

I have colored pencils that I use now because I hate

using pens in this, besides just writing

but for drawing, coloring, decorating... uh, colored pencils please.

So I test out the colors in here,

any layouts that I want to do, instead of constantly doing it in pencil,

I practise it in this.

So it's kind of like a backup to this.

Let me say, you'd think these five would be the end, right?

Nope, because Indigo/Chapters had a Boxing sale,

a 40 percent off, 40 percent off their Leuchtturms,

and I didn't buy any. I wanted to.

But I wanted one for the writing website

that I'm about to launch, maybe.

And one for actual public speaking, but I didn't.

It's not gonna happen yet, it's not gonna happen.

I'm gonna wait.

I really like these. Now, if you know what these are,

then you know that these are actually

kind of really expensive.

Canadian dollars, they're 24, in the U.S.

they kind of depend on where you get them.

Amazon goes anywhere from 15 to frickin' 30, 40 dollars.

But then there's websites, on average,

that sell them for... 16 to 20 bucks.

So they're very expensive. I love the paper.

The pens that I use go great with this.

It's dotted, which is great, I'm a dotted girl.

Some people like grid, I like dot.

It's a good quality notebook.

And it has little bookmarks and stuff.

So that's how I tend to try to organise my life right now,

by having a bullet journal system

and using one journal per whatever it is.

News, YouTube, my own writing gig on my own time.

If you want me to make a Plan with Me,

it's not gonna happen, this isn't gonna be

a Plan with Me channel, because I suck at that.

But there are plenty of other YouTubers

who are bullet journal YouTubers,

who are completely artistic and awesome,

and are much better at things than I am.

So if you bullet journal, let me know.

Let's fangirl, fanguy, fan person together.

10 Crazy Movie Castings That ALMOST Happened! - Duration: 7:06.

10 Crazy Castings That Almost Happened

We've seen it time and time again, we're promised an actor in a role and then just

before filming, they pull out.

Or we hear about an actor who was considering playing a role they'd be just perfect for,

and then for whatever reason it doesn't happen.

Or, there are rumours of bizarre castings that never would have made any sense.

Whether it's Michael Keaton rejecting Batman Forever, or Sean Connery rejecting the role

of Gandalf or Nicolas Cage as Superman- Here are our 10 Crazy Castings That Almost Happened

(with a bonus).

Chloe Grace Moretz – The Little Mermaid Chloe Grace Moretz was initially linked to

play Ariel in the live action Disney remake of The Little Mermaid.

It makes sense for a young, pretty girl with masses upon masses of hair to play the titular

mermaid, as she fits very nicely into the role.

But Moretz has already proven to be an actor more likely to take riskier fare.

Unfortunately for Disney, Moretz, who is already well known for taking dark and disturbing

roles dropped out of The Little Mermaid in order to appear in the remake of Dario Argento's

classic 1977 horror movie, Suspiria.

While the idea of Moretz as a Disney princess no doubt sprung dollar signs into the eyes

of producers, it seems that you just can't keep Chloe Grace Moretz away from the dark

and gritty.

Since her dropping out, Disney have decided to re-imagine the little mermaid in a more

modern setting similar to what they've done with Pete's Dragon and have managed to get

William Mosely attached to the move.., although he is not the mermaid.

David Boreanaz – Batman (Batman Begins) With Bones in its final week of shooting and

the series looking to come to a climactic end after years on the television, everyone

is talking about David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel right now.

With David Boreanaz best known for his role as Angel in the Buffyverse franchise, it should

come as no surprise that the man who played a Vampire private detective was offered the

role as Batman in Batman Begins.

David Boreanaz was too busy working on the Bones at the time to take the role, and turned

it down.

Something that we're sure both he and the fans regret.

While he was perfect casting for the role, he has later made the claim that it was a

rumour made up by his agent in order to keep his name in the papers… because after all,

why would you want to be known as the guy that turned down Batman.

While we may never see him as the caped crusader, this year we shall finally see Bones put to

rest.

Arnold Schwarzenegger – King Koopa (Super Mario Brothers)

While he was once hands down the biggest action star, both physically and in terms of star

power, of all time, the great Austrian death machine almost played King Koopa in the Super

Mario Brothers movie.

While this does confirm our suspicions that the producers didn't give a crap about the

game franchise, it's near impossible to imagine how Arnold could have ever been Koopa.

Dennis Hopper actually played Koopa and we couldn't imagine it.

We're not sure if we're relieved or sad this didn't happen, but at the very least

we can still watch all of Arnie's other classics.

Felicity Jones – 50 Shades of Grey A lot of actors have turned down 50 Shades

of Grey, including stars like Emma Watson, Jennifer Lawrence, Charlie Hunman and Alex

Pettyfer.

Another one of those actors to turn down the role is Felicity Jones.

While initially saying that she'd be happy to be in the movie adaptation, she later turned

it down as she was unwilling to perform full frontal nudity, despite initially claiming

she would be happy to do it.

While Dakota Johnson took her place, Felicity Jones picked up a huge payday instead with

Rogue One: A Star Wars story and the hit Drama, A Monster Calls.

While we're sure that Star Wars fans everywhere are currently lamenting the fact that Jones

didn't take the role, it doesn't seem like she missed out in the long run.

Tom Hardy – Rick Flag When Suicide Squad was first announced it

was Tom Hardy, rather than Joel Kinnamon in the role of Rick Flag.

Needless to say this raised a lot of eyebrows.

It seemed strange that Tom Hardy, a huge A-Lister who had not long ago played Bane in The Dark

Knight Rises, would play a DC character that no one had really heard of.

Apparently Tom Hardy felt the same way, as he pulled out of the role not long after being

announced to be in the film, just days after the announcement.

Citing scheduling conflicts, some have speculated that Hardy was unhappy that the screen time

of Will Smith and Jared Leto were upped, and his downed.

Or it was to hold out for a more recognisable role in the DCEU or the Marvel Cinematic Universe

in the near future.

Jake Gyllenhaal – Spider-Man 2 While we know that Leonardo DiCaprio was considered

for the role of Spider-Man, what a lot of people don't know is that Jake Gyllenhaal

almost replaced Tobey Maguire in Spider-Man 2.

Due to arguments within the studio based around Maguire's unusual behaviour and negotiation

tactics, Sam Raimi considered replacing him with Jake Gyllenhaal.

While it would now be unthinkable to recast a main character in a superhero movie without

rebooting the whole franchise, back then it was far more do-able.

Thankfully or unfortunately, depending on if you're a fan, Tobey Maguire eventually

did get on-board the project properly and went on to make one of the greatest superhero

movies of all time.

Amy Adams – Janis Joplin Amy Adams has been a star on the rise for

many years, gaining accolades for her work in Julie and Julia, Doubt and Arrival.

Most of her roles stretch her acting ability and put story and character first, which is

clearly something that Amy Adams excels at working with, which is why the idea of her

in a biopic makes sense What is crazy though is that she was in talks to play Janis Joplin

in a movie based on the rock stars life.

Despite a decade older (although looking a decade younger)than Joplin, this the movie

has been in talks for some time, however due to lawsuits the production of the movie has

been halted.

Emma Roberts – Harley Quinn (Suicide Squad) Often the source of controversy, Emma Roberts

is best known nowadays for her roles in Scream Queens and American Horror Story.

Dealing with the macabre on the regular, studios initially considered her for the role of Harley

Quinn.

In fact she even auditioned and got the part, before turning it down for Scream Queens.

Other actors considered included Amanda Seyfried and Rooney Mara, but eventually after more

auditions the role eventually went to Margot Robbie.

Which we're glad about, as Margot looks and sounds far more like the character.

While Roberts was certainly good enough to get the part, it was Margot Robbie who is

now iconic in the role.

Vin Diesel – Aragorn (The Lord of the Rings) While it's impossible to imagine him in

the role, Vin Diesel was one of many actors to audition for the role of badass ranger

and eventual king, Aragorn in "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring".

Vin Diesel is an actor who's largely known for his big brutish roles such as the lethal

and calculating Riddick in Pitch Dark, and Dominic Toretto in The Fast and Furious franchise.

So the idea of him playing Aragorn who is by far a much smaller man is a little odd.

Thankfully missing this big role early didn't hurt his career at all, as he's now one

of the highest paid actors in Hollywood and the star of not one, but two blockbuster franchises

in the form of The Fast and Furious and Guardians of the Galaxy.

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson - Johnny Bravo Right now the Rock is the highest paid, but

not highest grossing, actor in Hollywood, earning $64.5 million in 2015.

It's not just that he's lucky either, this guy for whatever reason is movie magic

and any movie he appears in is always a financial success.

While he is typically known for playing tough guys such as Luke Hobbs in The Fast and Furious

and goddamn Hercules, it's not uncommon for Dwayne Johnson to play cuddlier roles

in family friendly films such as the Tooth Fairy, the voice of Maui in Disney's moana,

or comedies such as Central Intelligence.

That being said we're still surprised that not only was a live action Johnny Bravo movie

almost made, but it nearly starred the Rock.

Which means that we almost lived in a world in which that not only could have happened,

but we also would have seen the Rock with an almighty blonde quiff.

Margot Robbie – Fantastic Four Although very hard to find, there are a few

roles that Margot Robbie has turned down.

While she did turn down some smaller indie roles such as "A Bigger Splash", she's

turned down one big role that we know of.

That being the role of Sue Storm in the new Fantastic Four movie.

While she would have undoubtedly been a better pick for the role than the actress the movie

actually got, Margot Robbie just didn't like what she saw.

She claimed that she didn't resonate with the script, despite getting on with the director

Josh Trank, and to this day still hasn't seen the movie and has no idea how well it

turned out.

Thankfully this turned out for the best as we were given a pitch perfect Harley Quinn

instead of a better Sue Storm, in a dreadful movie.

Did we miss anything?

for Minnesotans who are deaf, deafblind,

hard of hearing and hearing

to rally at the Capitol

and meet with their legislators.

You can share issues that are important

to you with your legislators.

Possible examples include:

* Increase funding for

Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services Division,

including grants for Support Service Providers (SSPs)

and Intervenors for children and adults

who are deafblind as well as mental health services.

*More funding for MNCDHH

to increase communication access.

*More training for service providers

who work with older adults on

the effects of age-related hearing loss.

*More funding for Deaf Mentors,

who teach ASL to parents of children

who are deaf, deafblind or hard of hearing.

*And more!

There are many organizations

involved with Lobby Day,

including:

'Hey Bill Nye, Is Cold Fusion Possible?' #TuesdaysWithBill - Duration: 3:59.

Good evening Mr. Nye.

My name is Loki and I have Cerebral Palsy so I'm sorry if I sound weird or look weird,

but my question to you is on cold fusion.

Was it something that actually had merit or was it something that the scientific community

legitimately had reasons for banning it.

Your thoughts please.

Loki, Loki, Loki, you don't look that weird it to us sir.

You look fine.

About cold fusion, so here was the idea.

There's a guy who really had the first patent on television was the mythic, this is really

his name, Philo Farnsworth.

And it is said he told people that he had the idea for television by plowing his uncle's

potato field as a kid and he looked at the way the furloughs went across the field and

inferred that would be a way to make a moving picture.

That same guy got it in his head that he could make neutrons do whatever he wanted, like

he had this one success and he got it in his head that he could influence neutrons and

he created a device which he called a phaser and that word has later been used to describe

rotating vectors in light waves and heat waves.

But this thing was going to enable neutrons to fuse together at room temperature.

He was not able to do it.

In order to do that, as far as we can tell right now, you need the gravity of a star,

which we have at our nearby star, the sun, and people have speculated that you could

also contain fusion, not speculated, I'm short changing us, people have shown that you can

contain fusion in a magnetic field, a very, very strong magnetic field, but no one has

been able to build a magnetic field powered that

fusion reaction makes enough power to establish the magnetic field strong enough to hold it.

So in my experience growing up it's always 40 years from now when this will be done,

but recently an aircraft company, I guess it was McDonnell Douglas, claimed that they'd

be able to make fusion happen at room temperature.

I'm very skeptical because I look at what happens in nature with these stars, but so

far cold fusion was a myth.

Then about 25 years ago 1988, 1990 scientist at a university in the state of Utah here

in the U.S. thought if they had established cold fusion, that they had established a magnetic

field powered by the energy of the fusion that would contain the reaction, but they

didn't.

They had the thermometer in the wrong place on their lab equipment.

And I cite this as an example of journalists who were not scientifically literate enough

to question this result, this published result or announced result and the journalists let

the story spiral out of control to the point where somebody like you 25 years later is

asking essentially the same question, can we have fusion at room temperature's?

As far as we know no, however, it is reasonable that you will be alive when people really

do figure it out.

It's exciting.

It's a great question.

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone - [PV] "Aikotoba" (Romaji/English Subs) - Duration: 3:05.

"3/9 1st Live" "Aikotoba (Love Words)" "DECO*27" "We're going live!! Everyone's invited"

You are always kind to my children

So I tell all my thanks to you all who listen to them

Before I forget in my life all your kindness

I made it into a song

With my secret feelings

The love word is "Love is ten" = "Thank you"

Me, you …

Romance, love …

Liking, disliking … I'll sing about things like that again

So now I like you, that is to say, I like you,

But actually, I like you, and you like

You love a fool like me

For listening and crying to a song like this, thank you

"I ate you." … stupid

"What were you doing?" … stupid

"Someone like you, I forgot all about you"

… stupid

I love you. No, that's a lie

The truth is, I really love you. I didn't want to hurt you

However, for liking me, and loving me all along

I want to smile with you and say "There's a song like that"

(You're like me, I'm like you)

(We're alike but we differ, we differ so we're alike)

(Every time I say you love me, my feelings for you get stronger)

(Those feelings are, to you, my many...)

"Love words"

Agricultural Education: Stories from the Field--Daniel Yahba, Cuttington University, Liberia - Duration: 4:25.

Hello.

My name is Merrie Winfrey, and I am the learning and communications specialist for the Innovation

for Agricultural Training and Education (InnovATE) project sponsored by USAID.

In June 2016, InnovATE brought together project implementers, their host country counterparts

and USAID staff in order to share challenges, successes and lessons learned from current

or recently completed USAID agricultural institution development projects.

Collectively, the people at the workshop represented 994 years of experience!

I conducted interviews with some of the workshop participants to share their wisdom and stories

with a wider audience.

The result is this series, Agricultural Education: Stories from the Field.

My name is Daniel Yahba.

I am the Dean for the Agricultural College at Cuttington University.

I'm from Liberia.

How did you get into agriculture?

How did you choose this career?

I saw it to be a very good career.

Even though in Africa, people say that agriculture is for poor people and it's dead end work,

so nobody wants to go into it, no rich man wants to go into agriculture but now, agriculture

is now the way forward for many African countries.

Right now especially for Liberia.

So I think it's not a bad idea for me to choose that career.

I enjoy it a whole lot.

I have a passion for it, and I still want to remain in it.

What do you think we should do to change people's minds about agriculture?

I think awareness is one of the things.

Awareness in the sense that you try to explain to people the importance of agriculture.

Ok.

So people see it to be a good career and you know changing the perception, the way they

look at it before and then trying to get into the career and they say "Oh, it's good,

I know when I get into agriculture, I will be able to have my own plantation, my own

vegetable farms" and all that kind of stuff.

But I think that one of the main issues in Africa is that agriculture is labor intensive.

I know.

People use a lot of energy to produce and use traditional tools to produce.

And that is not the way forward.

Production using traditional tools makes the production to be low, ok, with small yield.

But if you start to put some modern techniques into agriculture, you'll see that yield

will be more, production will be high, and then you will get a very good result.

Income will also increase and then you will improve your living conditions.

Personally, I'm from a poor family, a poor background.

And I stayed with people who helped me to gain education.

It was not a very easy road.

The road was very rough sometimes.

I can't imagine some of the things that I went through.

Especially, you know, in Africa, you live with people who are rich, who get a little

wealth but because you are from a poor family the way they will treat you, it will be quite

different.

But that's part of the challenges, that's part of the suffering, that's part of all

those kind of things.

I continued to be motivated, and I motivated myself.

You know, and I said, well I will continue because what I want is education.

So, I decided to stay, whether they were treating me bad or good, I wanted something.

I had a goal, and I wanted to achieve that goal.

Actually, it was a very difficult thing but I know that I did well in life.

I came back and I started to work with Cuttington [University].
