Youtube daily report w Jan 23 2017

Hi, my name is Matt from filmformatt.com

and in this video we'll be taking a look

at one of my favorite lenses, the Leica

R Summicron 50mm F2.

No matter what camera you're shooting with,

I highly recommend buying and adapting

Leica R lenses to get some of the best results.

Let's take a look.

It's uncanny that whenever I'm

complimented for my cinematography,

9 out of 10 times it's a video I shot

with a Leica R lens. These lenses are

absolutely essential to my kit as well

as many other filmmakers. First of all,

not all Leica lenses are named Leica.

For example, this lens is called Leitz

Canada. Don't worry it's all the same

company and built with the same optical

standards. Also, there are several

variations of this particular lens and

many others that have really

weird-looking names. These names correlate

with its f-stop. For example, this is a

Summicron lens, which means the furthest

the aperture opens to is F2. Here's a

list of the other names that you will

see commonly associated with Leica R

lenses, along with their f-stop ratings.

The Leica Summicron 50 is made

completely from metal and built like a

tank. The focus throw is superb by cine

standards as well.

It rotates about 340 degrees around the

lens with hard stops on either end and

has a tight fluid motion ideal for

filmmakers. Even better this lens

breathes minimally while changing focus

compared to many other prime lenses.

"Breathing" is a term that is used for

fixed lens that slightly zoom in or out

depending on which way you adjust the focus.

There is no modern coating on the glass

and it tends to flare very easily. To

help correct that issue this particular

lens comes with a metal telescoping hood,

but I prefer to use a matte box instead.

The Leica Summicron 50 has much less

contrast than most 50s while still

retaining a very high level of sharpness

in the image. This is awesome news for

filmmakers like me who prefer to color

grade their footage because there's more

information to work with in the picture.

The Leica R Summicron 50 mm

also has a lot of unique character

within the image it produces. They have a

clean look which makes them look more

filmic and tend to be a bit warmer in

color temperature by about 200 degrees.

This replicates the far more expensive

Panavision lenses used on major motion

pictures. In conclusion, I highly

recommend the Leica R Summicron

50 mm F2. It produces a unique

and pleasing image that is sure to catch

the eyes of your audience.

This lens is also built almost

specifically for cinema use with a long,

smooth focus throw, manual half-stop

aperture increments, and an all-metal

housing. Feel free to click on this

button for a more in-depth written

review with a full listing of the pros

and cons on this lens. Click on this

R Summicron 50mm compares

Leica R Summicron 50mm F2 vs. Zeiss Planar T 50mm ZE F1.4 - Duration: 3:19.

Hi, my name is Matt from filmformatt.com

and in this video we'll be treading into

some hotly contested territory by

comparing the Leica R Summicron 50mm

F2 with the Zeiss Planar T 50mm ZE

F1.4. Both lenses have extremely

passionate fans which is no surprise.

Let's take a look.

First off, I'd like to add that this is

not a perfect comparison. I'm using the

Leica R Summicron 50mm F2,

rather than the Leica R Summilux

50mm F1.4. The Summilux version

of the Leica R 50 is far more expensive

and in my opinion, not worth the money

if you don't need the extra stop. Both

lenses are almost identical in build

quality they are made entirely of metal

and are completely solid in

construction. Each lens also has a long,

smooth focus throw with hard stops on

either end. One of the major differences

in their construction is that the Leica

R Summicron has a manual aperture

adjustment, as opposed to the Zeiss ZE's

automatic aperture. You can avoid

this issue if you choose to buy the ZF

version of this lens, which is designed

for Nikon mount cameras. Having a manual

aperture is a much better feature for

filmmakers who prefer to adjust the

exposure while shooting. It's also

important to note that flaring is an

issue with the Leica R 50mm,

while it's much better handled with the

Zeiss Planar T 50mm. This is

because the Leica R 50mm doesn't

have an anti-flare coating on the

front lens element, while the more modern

Zeiss Planar T 50mm does. The

next major difference is within image

quality and this is where it gets a

little touchy for die-hard fans of either

lens. To keep things fair, I compared both

lenses using the same adapter for each

respective lens mount on a Panasonic GH4.

In this review, I used the Metabones

Speed Booster which widens the focal

length 0.71 times, increases the maximum

aperture by one stop, and increases the

overall sharpness. Both lenses create

beautiful and very sharp looking images,

but there's a major difference. The Leica

R 50mm produces creamy looking

images with wonderful contrast and

slightly warmer colors. The Zeiss Planar T 50mm

produced higher contrast and slightly cooler

images. Overall, the bokeh in the Zeiss Planar

T 50mm looks very smooth

compared to the Leica R, which has more

octagonal highlights due to its fewer

iris blades. Personally the image produced by

the Leica R lens looks more classically

cinematic to me while the Zeiss Planar T appears

to be more modern-looking. There is so

many lens manufacturers that are trying

to match this popular Ziess look right

now, which is why this cooler contrasty

style is something I see a lot

nowadays. The Leica-look however is

reminiscent of a nostalgic cinematic era

that's rarely seen in newer videos.

For this reason I bought into Leica land and

haven't been disappointed.

judges means different things to

different people understand what money

is not about the money yeah but our man

unless you can touch that's what it

means to me i don't know what basically

a lot has changed and like you said i'm

dropping contract the first problem and

I was always the way for a while because

I wanted like some space the color is a

creative space illogical if you just go

away for a while and you know go after

the first branch are you trying to go

from here and shut the team of all

nations

ok we're trying to go from here what

kind of need you want to start making

and I love music so much I want to try

also sounds sort of generally so what

new album you can hear different song

different sounds different

southside to RIT like all kinds of

sounds like I'm just trying to we're not

like should i use what experiment or I'm

just about good music basically but this

new shit is crazy like is Abdul I'm not

even trying to break for real magic of

my glasses that look into my eyes and

tell me from lying on the state next EP

just crazy

it's really really

is my friends be my friend able your

medical needs my friend before business

like we've been working a long long time

way back way back 2008-2009 I was when I

met you I was used to be in a group of

three was going to marry details

anyone's going to know what about to you

I think this bush or choose a bride

named Bobby really depressing

so now that i started working at

remember we did a song together way back

called oh the same time I icebergs name

a man is very long time and we had a

remix to the song

oh and that so it's way beyond come on

we could be good friends we could and

that I was gonna be forever young

forever basically the contract is over

this way to move on

engineer track to treat my own thing and

trying to get other people to

it's critical cream uniforms and then

sometimes just thinking out loud to go

meeting go to explain sand it's not a

lot but we appreciate we try to make

something out of every time we get to

spend together with every little bit of

money we have another video wouldn't

have too much even if you have to worry

like yourself as i go to studio they

don't have money like 30 to 50 to kill

me I'd like you I can't go back home

without making something at least

assault or two we have to create

something and sometimes when it's kind

of hard to create what they started like

you know buddy go up you at work

yesterday you have the creation and

sometimes just wake up in the mornin

entry music at night whenever as long as

we together and he comes in on the right

into like a local google local traders

let's try this way you know and maybe

that's why I say just waiting on this

next EP my life as their wedding already

tried

because my people be like so we can do

that

so do you know I just do something

except that you want to do something

exceptional because with the first time

it was definitely spent like you said

you know you can actually take you to

that peak to the ice let's see you do it

so I think that's all you begin with the

thing is i think people just need to

take time to digest much weight and you

don't think about probably before some

people don't even get to the truth just

like now now now one talk from one

person to another before i read from it

too but I don't change didn't want to

look at something we just look at Eddie

short version is better than anyone and

no don't want to take that chance to

listen to the song and I just want to

criticize you and you know which means i

have right in my opinion I wasn't trying

to criticize or damage it does work or

something but for real mom actually put

work in me and I was only saying i think

is that we start appreciating ourselves

Africans that people and that's the only

way we can appreciate music and then

only we can grow because i remember when

the Sun came out there was a huge

billboard like everywhere transform or

this same song it is filled and I tell

you can do better music in there but it

was he will come from that's that you

know feat pop but we could listen within

twenty understands me and I think

everybody is actually working towards

making that kind of music not good news

about color close to the rest of the

world and I think we're doing good

something from the fridge and makeup

about my job never let you go we're

gonna see people about a year or more

now because some songs were recorded

2015 2016 and we're just like you

it's for the EP has all the songs right

now the whole lot of songs and we

decided to put everything out the same

time like 20 tracks 17 tracks or

something whatever like you I think it's

kind of awful people like digest songs

these days so use less too much sounds

like you

let's split it let's give it six or

seven seven seven and you know that

would use for my friend to digest

ok that's all working away

download the full planets to you know

take the brand to another level

basically that's what working to work

and make it a it's not even about me

it's about a team basically about enable

you know everybody's trying to grow just

want to you know bring your body as well

i got my clothing line coming out pretty

soon as well it's a lot and we're going

to be going back to my state know trying

to give back to society you know couple

of schools a couple of communities you

know dewatering and and desk and chairs

to couple inner like make life better

for people so it's way beyond the music

472 anticipation

yeah yeah yeah i just want to keep doing

what I can do with that's what's that

it's not even about me it's about other

people you want to blessed because you

know such as means different things to

different people

you understand that even like what

monitor is not about the money you have

about our man unless you can touch

that's what it means to me so so you

know we keep keep spreading the gospel

Structuring Deals #5: Assignable Cash Deals - Duration: 4:22.

Hey, it's Joe.

This is video No. 5 of the deal structures, the zero down deal structures.

And this is the fifth zero down structure that we use in the hierarchy.

It's called assignable cash deals and it's also known as wholesaling.

Basically, where you go out and find a property that's substantially under market value.

You get it under a purchase agreement, for cash, and then you turn around and find somebody

to buy it from you for a little bit more money.

You take the profit and you take the buyer and they pay off what's owed on that property.

So, let's take an example here.

Let's say you've got a property that's worth $100K and the guy want's $50K. You get a purchase

agreement with him for $50K, you add $5,000 to the price, now it's $55K. Somebody comes

in, gives you the $5,000, they give $50K to the seller, they get in for $55K, they put

in maybe $10,000 to fix it up.

Now it's worth $100K, they've just made $35K on their deal.

So it's a good deal for another investor.

It pays off the person who sells it, and you make a profit in the deal as well.

That's wholesaling.

There's two ways that you make money as an investor.

One is, you buy properties at or below market value, but you buy it on terms.

You don't have any money coming out of your pocket.

Two, you buy properties substantially under market value and you can do it for cash.

Ideally, you want to do both of those of those things.

You want to get it under market value and you want to get it on terms.

Or, you want those, and you want those terms to be as attractive as possible, and with

as small as interest as possible.

So, you can do that both ways.

A lot of times when we're buying less expensive deals that we're flipping, if you can get

them on terms, let's say you have a $50K property that's worth $100K, you can ask that guy well,

let me buy it on terms.

If you know it needs some fix up, let's say it needs $10,000 worth of fix up, you get

it on a $50K with a six-month land contract, then you can go and find somebody to give

you $10,000.

All they have to do is take over the land contract and they have to pay it off in six

months.

But they're going to fix it up and sell it in that six-month period anyway.

So they can do it with having only $10,000 that they're paying to you, plus another $10,000

to fix it up, and then they're cost to sell it and they can, you know, get in and out

and make a quick $30K on a deal like that.

As long as you look at these deals and decide, hey, that makes sense for an investor.

I can see how that would be profitable for an investor.

And the less money that they have to come out of pocket, that means the higher return

on their money.

So, you always want to find better ways for them to do it.

So, on an assignable cash deal, if you can make that cash that they have to come up with

smaller and smaller and smaller, it's more and more likely that you'll get it sold.

And, if you're dealing with cheaper properties, those are easier to sell than more expensive

properties.

There's a lot more people that have $20K or $50K than have $100K or $200K or $500K.

There are still deals, if you found something for half a million dollars, that's worth,

realistically, $1 million, the likelihood that you could probably sell that is still

high as well.

And you can make a good profit on things like that.

But, it's going to be easier for you to sell a $50K property that's worth $100K.

And when you talk about substantially under market value, it has to be substantial.

It can't be 10% under market value, 20% under market value.

And the cheaper the property is, the more of a percentage that it has to be under market

value because it's a smaller number.

The higher that you get the less that percentage has to be.

So it's going to be anywhere from 30% to 50% under market value before you're likely to

be able to sell it on a cash assignable deal.

Anyway, so that's assignable deals.

On the next video, I'm going to wrap up the explanation of these structures and talk about

the zero down hierarchy and how all these structures fit together in the hierarchy.

All right, thanks a lot.

Underlying Your Daily Discomfort, Neurotransmitter Imbalance - Duration: 3:43.

This is Dr. Lam, founder of drlam.com.

And today's topic is, when a body reached maximum stimulatory level, are they causing

damage to stimulation receptors within the brain, or is it just the body that is getting

damaged?

Well, this is a very interesting question because most of the advanced people of adrenal

fatigue will know that if you take too much of even whether it is supplements, or medications,

or certain foods, your body can become overwhelmed and become anxious.

You may become more fatigued as well.

You can have panic attacks.

Now part of it is regulated by neurotransmitter imbalance.

But at the same time, the question is, how much damaged?

Now the body has its own automatic rebalancing capabilities.

So just because you reached maximum stimulatory level does not mean that damage will occur.

For example, if you take magnesium, too much magnesium is not going to be staying in the

body because the body has an automatic way of getting out of it.

And the way it does is to facilitate a diarrhea that is harmless.

So when you are taking too much magnesium you automatically will get diarrhea.

Now in the case of when you reach a maximum stimulatory level of other compounds, that's

not like magnesium, that leads to a body having more anxiety.

Then it is a warning sign that this is arrived.

So the body usually, when it comes to that point, will upregulate the detoxification

pathways, either at the liver or even in the intracellular space as well as the extracellular

mechanisms.

By doing that the body is trying to facilitate the removal of these metabolites as well as

these compounds once it senses that it does not need it anymore.

Now there are also regulatory feedback loops that's already built in into the system

that are negative in nature.

So when the body has too much of certain things then it basically shuts off the production

in such as thyroid as well as other hormones.

But at the same time certain neurotransmitters may have a problem because they don't have

this negative loop, and epinephrine is one of them.

So reaching maximum stimulatory level does not necessarily mean there's damage.

It just means that the body has to work harder.

And if this is not resolved then potential damage can occur over time and this can be

very problematic.

Because once a damage in place it is very hard

to reverse.

How To Stress Test your CPU with Prime95 & IntelBurnTest - Duration: 4:20.

Hi and welcome to this short video on how to stress test your CPU.

I'm going to show you two applications that are able to put maximum load onto your CPU.

This may be useful for testing your system stability after overclocking your CPU or if

you want to see how hot your system gets under load for example.

First the popular and more traditional software "Prime95".

Unfortunately it usually has to run much longer to thoroughly test the stability of a system.

A quicker way would be the second software "Intel Burn Test".

This software only has to run a few minutes and will stress your PC much more.

It's used by Intel to test their products before sale but it should work on AMD CPUs

as well.

Make sure your PC is properly cooled and ventilated before doing either of these tests.

To keep an eye on your CPU temperature while testing, you can use the optional software

"Core Temp".

The links to all these programs are in the video description.

First I'm going to install "Core Temp" to monitor the temperature.

During the setup, make sure to uncheck the adware options.

I'm going to just leave "Install additional language packs" enabled.

I am recording this in a virtual machine so the software won't be able to read any temperature

values in my case but you should see your current CPU temperature here.

We will start stress testing by using "Prime95".

The software doesn't require more than clicking "OK" in the first popup.

You can now check "Core Temp" and the Windows Task Manager to see if your CPU is under full

load.

You can launch it by right clicking on the taskbar and choosing "Start Task Manager".

Switch to the "Performance" tab and look at "CPU Usage" in the upper left corner.

It should be constantly at 100% during the test.

To cancel the stress test, go to "Test" and click "Stop".

To start another test go to "Options" and choose "Torture Test".

Then leave "Blend" and click "OK".

As I've said, you would have to run this test for several hours before you can be certain

that your system is stable.

The quicker alternative is the "Intel Burn Test".

Just like "Prime95", you just have to click "Start" to launch the stress test.

For this test specifically, make sure your CPU does not get hotter than 80 degrees Celsius

for an extended period of time.

Modern CPUs usually throttle their speed or shut down completely before any damage to

the hardware occurs but be careful anyways.

Usually 10 Outputs is enough to call a system stable.

Currently it's at 1 of 10 completed.

To stop the test earlier, just click "Stop".

'Gold' starring Matthew McConaughey lacks glitter and sense: movie review - Duration: 1:59.

The main exercise of "Gold" seems to be making Matthew McConaughey look as ugly as possible.

Here's the former Sexist Man Alive, crater-faced and wearing only socks, underwear and a pot belly.

It could be a prosthetic stomach. Or that flab came courtesy of countless cheeseburgers the Oscar winner downed to play Kenny Wells, the boozing, malaria-suffering mining company exec.

Balding doesn't describe Wells' 'do — crinkly strands of what look like someone's pubic hair.

Matthew McConaughey and Edgar Ramirez gauge their prospects in "Gold."

(Patrick Brown/The Weinstein Company)

Alright, alright, alright. There's a reason for dwelling on appearances. It's clearly one of the areas where the filmmakers put their efforts.

Loosely inspired by a Canadian gold-mining scandal of the 1990s, the proceedings begin with a flashback of Wells with his father, who founded the mining company. But the father dies and seven hard years follow for the business.

What comes next is Kenny's convoluted journey through the ups and downs of searching for gold in an obscure place (as in, the Indonesian jungle), striking it rich and maneuvering through the resulting business and personal pressures.

Matthew McConaughey gets catty in "Gold."

(The Weinstein Company)

That's a virtual gold mine of material. But Kenny is so thinly drawn, he and his motivations are a mystery. A possible impulse is that he's on a desperate quest to strike it rich in order to restore his father's good name.

Another is that there is something mystical about finding gold beyond its monetary value. But who knows?

The movie never makes it clear.

Turning McConaughey into a wreck through makeup and lighting is not an adequate substitute for character development. But it underscores something that the film gets right — the fact that underneath many pretty surfaces is ugliness.

Whether it be the way a man can forget what's most important in life when he's on a winning streak or the brutality roiling under success on Wall Street and in politics, things that glitter can often leave one cold.

American Slang For Drinking Alcohol - American Accent Course - Duration: 4:50.

Hi Guys!

This video gives specific American slang words for going out for a drink with your friends.

Now, I was invited today to a "Happy Hour".

"Happy Hour" is a time in the afternoon or evening when there lower prices on drinks.

Or it can mean the time people are finished work and go to the bar, the pub, the saloon

or another place to have an alcoholic drink.

So we call that "Happy Hour" because you are happy to be there.

This can lead to "bar hopping" which means you hop or move bar to bar to drink.

You start at one place and maybe go to some others.

Sometimes it is called a "pub crawl" where you go from one pub to another.

Now, what de we drink when we are at the bar?

Well, we might be drinking beer, or also know as "brews" because beer is brewed or "brewskies"

also known as "suds".

Those are all words for beer.

You can say you are going to have "a cold one".

Beer in America is usually served quite cold.

If you are drinking alcohol like vodka, whiskey, tequila you can call that "the hard stuff"

because it is hard alcohol.

It is higher in alcohol content or higher in degree (of alcohol).

That's also known as "booze".

In general, drinking booze is higher alcohol.

You might be having "cocktails".

Cocktails are made of hard alcohol or booze like a "martini" had gin or vodka and some

vermouth.

Another word for martinis because they are so strong is "loud mouth soup".

Loud mouth soup means you drink a few martinis and you start talking too much and since it's

clear like soup, it is a very funny phrase.

You might take a "shot" - that's one small unit of alcohol and drink it down.

If you have a few drinks, you might get "tipsy" like you are going to tip over or feel a little

"woozy" or a little "happy".

But then, if you get drunk, these are terms for that.

If you "hit the bottle" "hit the bottle" means to drink heavily, drink hard alcohol heavily.

If you do that, you might get drunk.

You might "get a load on".

It means a lot of alcohol.

Or "get a buzz on" - this feeling of intoxication.

Or this slang word - "get your swerve on" - to swerve means when your car moves like

this in the road so when people get drunk, sometimes they can't walk in a straight line.

Or you might say, "I tie one on" or "I tied one on."

That's another phrase for when you got quite drunk.

If you are drinking with both hands, that's "double-fisted drinking."

"Double-fisted drinking."

But be careful, friends because if you are "under the influence" that's the legal term

in America.

"Under the influence" means you are legally drunk.

If you get stopped by the police and you are driving a car, they can test you to see if

there is alcohol in your system.

If you are "under the influence" sometimes they arrest you and put you in jail.

There is a place they put drunk people, especially people who are chronically drunk or alcoholic.

They called it "the drunk tank" because that is where they put the drunks, people who are

drunk on alcohol.

I've never been there, I've never been caught "under the influence" probably because I rarely

drive.

I take a taxi home.

So those are all words about going out for a drink with your friends, to "have a cold

one", "Happy Hour" and every thing that can happen after that.

Please subscribe to these videos on American slang.

They'll help you understand words that you hear in movies, TV shows or you read in some

type of article.

Thanks always for watching.
