McCain Voices �Concerns� Over Tillerson�s Connections With Russia, Putin.

While touring the Baltic nations, which are coping with national security fears caused

by a resurgent Russia, Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., on Thursday voiced concerns over the nomination

of Exxon Mobil CEO Rex Tillerson as secretary of state.

President-elect Donald Trump has said he will nominate Tillerson to serve as America�s

top diplomat.

The nomination has been met with concerns from many senators about Tillerson�s existing

connections with Russia in general and with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Senate must confirm the appointment.

McCain noted a specific concern over Tillerson�s opposition to sanctions against Russia for

its 2014 annexation of Crimea.

�I and several of my colleagues have concerns about Mr. Tillerson and some of his past activities,

specifically his relationship with Vladimir Putin,� McCain told reporters.

He continued, �I have concerns, but at the same time I�m certain we will give Mr. Tillerson

an opportunity to make his case about why he is qualified to be secretary of state.�

McCain, chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, said it is vital to ensure that

Russian hackers do not interfere with America�s political process.

He has supported hearings into the role of Russia in the presidential election.

That course seemed to be contrary to the will of Trump, who spoke to reporters Wednesday.

�I think we ought to get on with our lives,� Trump said.

�I think that computers have complicated lives very greatly.

The whole, you know, age of computer has made it where nobody knows exactly what�s going

on.

We have speed, we have a lot of other things, but I�m not sure you have that kind of security

that you need.

But I have not spoken with the senators, and I certainly will be over a period of time.�

McCain agreed with Trump, on one condition.

�I agree with president-elect that we need to get on of our lives � without having

elections being affected by any outside influence, especially Vladimir Putin, who is a thug and

a murderer,� he said.

Putin was also the target of Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., who was traveling with McCain.

Graham said the U.S. needs to put in place sanctions that target areas such as energy

and also those that directly hit Putin.

�I think the sanctions need to go beyond what it is today � they need to name Putin

as an individual and his inner circle because nothing happens in Russia without his knowledge

and approval,� Graham said.

Hello boys and girls, I'm Teacher Gus

and today we're going to talk about Yakara Colombia's "bricks".

If you don't know him,

Yakara Colombia is perhaps the biggest

3DS & Wii U hacking youtuber.

Many people have used his tutorials

- myself included, I still do -

well, a little time ago he made a very big mistake

which was the following:

He placed - among the files he had us grab

to do the whole procedure to hack the 11.2 version -

a file that's unique to each 3DS.

Basically, he left there the file of his own device.

So what happened? When people tried to execute the

procedure on their devices

and there was the file, the bricking happened.

He says on his vid that around 1,700

1,800 people had downloaded the files

and may have done the procedure.

And now they have their devices bricked

I've seen many people talking, criticizing,

the mistake that happened,

and I even commented on Discord with our subscribers

yesterday, I said: "Look, I think we must have some...

...care, maybe, or just think a little bit more

before giving out a final opinion on the case.

Did Yakara make a mistake? Sure, it was a big mistake.

According to him, he made it all at 3 am,

he wanted the info out ASAP. After all,

it's been highly anticipated info

so he published the tutorial as soon as he could,

as it would also bring about many views, of course,

by the way, very well-deserved,

but in a hurry and at a terrible time to do it,

at 3 am, he ended up letting the OTP file around.

He's said on his vid that he comes forward

to even receive consoles

that people might want to send him

just so he can do the hardmod himself, to fix it.

There's been one case of brick from one of our subscribers

who followed his tutorial,

and unfortunately had his device affected.

People said at first: 'That's absurd, Yakara can't do such a thing

- of course he can't,

but he did. He erred, as a human being he is.

Should we pity him then?

Nah, that's not what I mean.

He's been suffering, hurting a lot, it's clear to the eye

on his latest video.

I put myself in his shoes - if I had made a vid

which I then would find out it had bricked hundreds of devices,

dear God, I would feel so punishing at myself,

bad, rotten,

that nobody would need to say a word

to make me feel worse - there wouldn't be any worse than that.

So, I think we mustn't judge quickly,

yelling stuff such as 'He's shit, he's worthless!'

No, because he's worth a lot

(this flying ball here means I'm playing with Pituca)

Anyway...

He's been invaluable and not only a source of info

but he also plans and makes files and programs

so it's all pratically ready to hack.

Did he err? Yeah, but

why not say 'Look,

you did wrong, okay, now solve the problem'

I don't think he should lose the respect

from us. Yakara is a person who

has helped and did WAY MORE right than wrong.

Everyone makes mistakes - I made one here too,

with the Wii U stuff, the Wii U hack, remember?

I said it wasn't real, on a very first judgement

and I learned from it, too.

Just the way he's learned - I'm sure of it

- as he says on his vid.

And that's why we must - at least -

stay quiet, you know? If it's not to send him a message of support,

don't send him a hate message, either.

After all, it makes no real difference.

He'll only feel worse and won't be motivated to keep on making content

and it can reflect to his personal life and so on.

Now, if you don't mind about the consequences of what you say to personal lives,

then I'm sorry to say that you aren't welcome on this channel at all.

We MUST have empathy towards others.

Look at people and think 'We are all the same.'

As I've said on another vid, we all use the toilet for the same reasons.

We make mistakes, too.

So, let us have some compassion,

understand he's erred but it wasn't in purpose.

And that now he's trying to help people immensely.

I personally don't believe he will be able to do it, because

he asks people to send him consoles or that technicians charge less for the fix,

but I doubt people will do it.

Sending the console away is too expensive due to freight

and as for technicians with lower costs, they might say

'Your problem. You did it yourself using Yakara's method, not my problem'.

Unless the technician comes to think: 'Damn, I myself

use Yakara's method to work, so I'm going to give him a hand'.

Let's see. Mankind is always full of surprises...

The worst ones, but a few good ones, as well.

Hello! Today we see how to sew a man's sweater with a ribbon binding

The process it's very simple and fast

the first step, as usual, will be the shoulder seam with which

we will join front and back

I added a piece of elastic to the seam to strengthen it, and I sewed with

a zig zag

the elastic is a bit shorter than the shoulder length

to avoid to create bulk in the subsequent

sleeves and collar seams

I also folded the seam allowances towards the front and I topstitched with a

straight and long stitch to keep them in position

the sleeves will be joined right sides together

We need to match the center of the sleeve marked with a small

notch

and the shoulder seam

and also the two edges

the side concave of the sleeve will be placed facing the front

while the other more convex toward back

I used a narrow and short zig zag since the fabric is elastic

I stopped all seams at the beginning and at the end backstitching

Now the sleeves and the hips may be closed with a single seam starting from

the cuff until you reach the bottom

the main part of the garment is now finished we will move to the

ribbon binding finishes of the neckline, of the sleeves and of the bottom of the sweatshirt

in all three cases, the ribbon fabric will be cut twice the height needed

because it will be used folded in two

the ribbon of the cuffs and the bottom hem will be closed in a loop

and then folded in two to hide the seam just made

and then joined to the sweatshirt

on the bottom I match the seam with the side seam

then I found the half of the band and I pin it to the other side

sewing the ease of the sweatshirt will be redistributed taking tense the ribbon

in fact this was cut 10 cm shorter

the cuffs were treated in the same way

I mach the cuff seam with that of the sleeve

and then I sewed stretching the ribbon, also in this case

shorter of some centimeter than the wrist

here I used a narrow and short zig zag

now we move onto the neck as first I basted the V of the sweatshirt

and then I basted the ribbon in the desired position with a flap that

overlap the other

I found half of the band and the center back of the sweatshirt

I did a small notch in the center of the V-neck

I made meet the V tips

and the center back with the half the ribbon end then I pinned all around

also the band here is of some centimeter shorter

and the ease of the sweatshirt will be redistributed holding tight the ribbon

while sewing

I sewed my neck with a narrow and short zig zag putting aside for the

moment

the tip of the V

that I completed later

you can also close it topstitching, folding the seam allowances

downwards towards the sweatshirt

in this case I preferred to avoid topstitching and therefore I sewed everything from the wrong side

the last touch in ribbon will be only a decoration, a faux pocket

I sewed a rectangle of jersey closing it along the short sides and I

turned it

I cut some extra fabric to avoid bulk and I placed

the faux pocket in the position desired but facing down

and I sewed before the long side with a zig zag

and then I turned upward the pocket and I topstitched the short sides, with a

straight stitch

to stop it in place

the latest finishes to prevent the fabric and in particular the the ribbon

fraying will be a multi stitch zig zag passed along all internal seam allowances

of neck, cuffs

and bottom

Normally I would fold the seam allowances towards the garment and I will topstitched them

in that position

but in this case as I mentioned before I prefer to avoid topstitching

the sweatshirt was made for a man but here I wear it for you to see more or

less what it is the result

What Republicans Can and Can't Do To Repeal Obamacare - Duration: 4:37.

So far this week there's been lot of discussion about Obamacare.

The Democrats have met, and they're trying to come up with ways to protect their signature

achievement during the Obama years.

Meanwhile, Republicans are meeting trying to figure out exactly how they're going to

repeal this entire law.

Well, there are some things that Republicans can and cannot do in order to kill Obamacare.

There's a few things Democrats can do to save it.

Let's start with the easiest.

A full repeal of Obamacare.

Is it possible?

Yes.

Is it probable?

No.

Because Democrats in the Senate, though they are the minority, they can absolutely filibusterer

a full repeal.

Therefore, a full repeal will not happen.

The Republicans are going a little bit sneakier route right now.

They're trying to tie-in anything in Obamacare related to budgetary issues, which include

the tax subsidies for people who cannot afford health insurance, they're tying those to budget

bills through a process known as reconciliation where the budget bills cannot be filibustered.

They're simple up and down, yes or no, vote.

Goes to the President, he signs it, those can be repealed.

Typically, those pieces of legislation should not and cannot be included in a budget bill.

It has to go through something known as the Byrd Law, B-Y-R-D, and then that has to be

decided by a Senate Parliamentarian.

If the parliamentarian actually says, "No.

You can't include those," the Republicans then have the option to fire the Senate Parliamentarian,

hire a new guy who's going to give them approval, so then they'll be able to do that.

Here's the thing, the best part of the Affordable Care Act is the condition, or the preexisting

conditions, stipulation that says you cannot be denied health insurance if you have a preexisting

medical condition.

Republicans can't touch that because a Democratic filibuster will keep it in place.

They can, however, make health insurance unaffordable for millions of people by repealing all of

those tax subsidies, and in effect, those tax subsidies are paid for increased taxes

on the wealthy which is going to give the wealthy a tax break of $346 billion over the

next 10 years.

That's what this is all of about.

This has nothing to do with health insurance or wanting a better plan.

Republicans are simply trying to give the wealthy another tax break.

That's what the whole repeal of Obamacare is about.

That's why they're only wanting to touch these subsidies issues and the tax issues, because

that's all they care about.

What's going to happen is that's going to make people unable to afford this health insurance.

Here's another side product of what could happen if they repeal the subsidies but leave

in the preexisting condition requirement, healthy people will simply not buy insurance.

They won't need it.

If they get sick, they then can buy health insurance.

They can't be denied.

Then the insurance company has to pay.

It's going to result in higher premiums for everybody else.

Huge financial losses for the insurance industry which is going to result in ever higher premiums.

Bottom line is that there's no way to do this guys.

We have a law in place.

Is it perfect?

God no.

Why not just improve it?

The answer is because Republicans don't want to.

Again, it's for two reasons.

One, they want to give the wealthy that massive tax break.

Two, this was created by Democrats, so it needs to go away.

It's spite and loyalty to the 1%.

That is 100% what is behind the Republicans push to repeal Obamacare.

pisses them off and ruins their day... the

fact that you have the gall to actually

walk up to them and introduce yourself

and start a conversation with them means

that they've done something horribly

wrong in a past life and this is their

karma to make up for this horrible

action of their past. Or maybe it's not

quite that dramatic, but you know

occasionally you do walk up to somebody.

You like meet them...

maybe they're a friend of a friend or

just a stranger or somebody that you're

like supposed to like be relatively

acquainted with because they like work

in the same place as you or they hang

out in the same places as you somewhat

regularly and the very first time that

you talk to them as soon as you even

like get within five feet of them you

immediately feel the sting of their

hatred and their burning craving to

destroy you and everything that you love.

I turn into Elle Woods immediately. I'm

like but everybody likes me and I don't

understand what problem you could

possibly have with me because I am like

a golden retriever. Like hating me it's

like kicking a puppy in the face. I

don't understand when people don't like

me and they just absolutely despise me

because I'm like I didn't do anything though!

Like why? I don't know.

Have you guys been through that before

and what do you do about it because I

honestly don't really know what to do.

Like the person that it happened with

relatively recently I kind of have to

like be around her somewhat regularly. I

choose to instead you know ignore her

existence because I figure that if I'm

just not around her at all then she can't

like actively hate me. It'll just be like

a passive hatred like she doesn't

actually have to acknowledge my

existence and therefore she won't like

ever actively tell me off or something.

'Cause my fragile little ego can't handle that.

The Real Reason Behind Blue For Boys & Pink For Girls - Duration: 5:28.

As anyone who's gone shopping in the children's section of a department store knows, there's

a clear pattern to what colors of clothes are usually available for boys and girls.

Yep, that'd be pink and blue, a distinction that's become such a tradition for dressing

up those little ones that it's often tough to find anything but the two basic hues.

But it wasn't always that way, and if you do some digging into the history of how we

identify our children, you'll find that there's a lot that went into making the blue-pink

dynamic such a mainstay of kids' fashions.

Plain white tease

Long before society latched onto these two colors, it was gender-neutral colors that

gained favor with American families.

For practical reasons, it was just easier for families to bleach soiled clothing items

if they were simply made with all-white fabrics, 'cause, you know, stuff happens...

"She's making poop face"

"What do you mean she's making the poop face?"

"Oh my god she's gonna poop in the tub.

Hurry up, hurry up, she's gonna poop on me."

"No that's my hat."

So white was really the preferred color for young kids to wear until they reached the

age of six or seven and started wearing more sophisticated and colorful threads like the

adults in their lives.

Vice versa

According to fashion historians, the idea of associating pastel colors with children

occurred around the middle of the 19th century, and it would take another seven decades before

specific colors were assigned to each gender.

But even then things were still quite different, as some publications deemed pink the ideal

color for boys since it was a stronger, bolder color, while blue was better suited for girls.

While some forward-thinkers from the era also suggested perhaps each baby should be dressed

according to his or her own features, like, say, eye color, the common gender association

of clothing colors was still beginning to take shape.

The first pink-blue divide

By the 1940s and the end of World War II, the gender-specific clothing trend was firmly

entrenched in the public consciousness for as simple a reason as that's what retailers

were pushing.

Rosie the Riveter might've been wearing blue, but once her man came back from the front

lines, she could trade in her oil-stained blues for the flowery pink aprons that became

her kitchen uniform.

By 1947, fashion designers like Christian Dior were advertising the clothing of the

postwar ideal.

And for women?

There was a ton of soft, flowing, now-feminine pink.

From there, we came to firmly believe that pink was the color for girls, while blue was

the color of snips, snails, and puppy dog tails.

Breaking with tradition

The emergence of the women's liberation movement kick-started the social change of the 1960s,

which put a temporary end to the dominance of gender-specific colors.

The idea that dressing girls in pink was going to encourage kitchen conformity gained favor,

and thus began the argument that there was no biological reason for girls to favor pink

over blue.

"Ooh delicious, stupid cookie…"

'80s backtrack

Of course, what goes up must come down.

A re-emergence of "blue is for boys, pink is for girls" fashion ethos for our pint-sized

citizens in the '80s had a lot to do with the most powerful thing in the world: money.

Finding out the gender of babies before they were born suddenly became a medical possibility,

and that meant retailers found a new way to capitalize on selling specific merchandise

geared toward boys and girls.

Given how many couples have more than one child and how many families have both sons

and daughters, that made hand-me-downs more difficult if dressing your second-born daughter

in your first-born son's clothes is going against social norms.

The feisty resistance to clothing-based gender association died down a bit by then.

The trend of dressing little Suzie in pink while Scotty wore his light blue was back

in style.

"It's a harsh world."

Modern times?

Fast-forward a few decades, and we're still seeing those familiar tones everywhere in

kids' clothing aisles.

"On Wednesdays we wear pink."

Recent gender studies have tried to get to the bottom of just why this is still a thing,

but it's something of a chicken-or-the-egg scenario.

Do we assign these colors to each gender because that's what they like?

Or do they gravitate toward these colors because that's what they're dressed in, and that's

what they see their peers doing?

One 2011 study offered babies the choice between two nearly identical objects.

One was pink, the other wasn't.

When they were a year old, there was no difference in the number that would choose pink or the

other color.

By the time they were two years old, many more girls were choosing pink.

By four, the gender divide was evident on both sides, with most boys now refusing the

pink item.

Noticing a pattern here?

It's still hard to hone in on what exactly inspires that pigment preference, but it's

clearly something that's learned along the way.

All grown up

If it's true that kids feel pressured to like pink or blue based on the gender norms they're

exposed to, the same doesn't exactly hold true in adulthood.

In 2012, a sociological study at the University of Maryland showed that when two-thousand

people were asked to choose a favorite color between blue, pink, and a handful of other

options, the overwhelming majority from both genders chose blue.

While very few of the men chose pink as their primary pick from the spectrum, there were

also few women who did so.

In other words, once we reach an age of maturity, that strong sense of devotion to pink might

dissipate with women, who gravitate towards favoring blue just like the fellas.

Transitions to the different countries were created

on Scanimate originally as a

black-and-white animated checkerboard pattern.

The footage played back from two

huge video decks, playing maybe about a

tenth of a second out of sync with each other.

One was inserted into the black

areas and one into the white areas and

the result was these digital looking

transitions, quite unique at the time.

A decade later in Atlanta I ended up

working for years with Rex Humbard's

son Charlie.

Truck companies are supposed to be professional drivers, and there are a lot of safety rules

and regulations that apply to them because they are on the road so much, for so many

hours, and so many miles, that if they don't follow some very strict rules and guidelines

as far as driving safely, wrecks will occur.

A common thing we look at in every case would be hours of service.

There are very strict rules about how long a driver can drive each day, how long of breaks

he has to take between days, and if a driver is over hours.

The reason that regulation is in place is because after a certain number of hours, for

anyone, fatigue sets in and they become a less safe driver.

Another area where trucking is highly regulated is in maintenance and inspection of trucks

themselves.

Drivers are required before every trip to inspect a number of points on the vehicle

to make sure that the vehicle is safe to drive.

When a truck breaks down, for instance, if it has a tire blowout on the road, an out-of-control

truck on the interstate is a very dangerous thing as compared to an individual's car.

The federal regulation requires truck drivers to not text at all while driving but they're

allowed to use a cell phone as long as they use a hands-free, Bluetooth type device.

The actual federal rule on that issue is, it's a basic safety floor, but it doesn't

necessarily cover all the situations that could result in dangerous driving and injure

people.

How I Overcame Alopecia Areata - Duration: 7:31.

hey guys kevin kreider here from pursue so

I've been getting some questions about

how he overcame alopecia areata it's a

stress-induced hey it's a stress-induced

hair loss alopecia areata stress-induced

hair loss where your auto immune system

starts attacking the hair file close of

your hair or your body when you're under

stress high stress that is so a lot of

you may have known i was living in to

your back in 2013-14 and I just hit a

really rough rough time in my life I was

highly under stress i was living in

Harlem had a lot of roommates I wasn't

really financially doing so well wasn't

both many jobs i just finished acting

schools i didn't have this insecurity of

going back to a certain familiar place

and seeing the same faces all the time

and I was just a rack it was just such a

high stress time my life for other

personal reasons to but I started losing

my hair and chunks alopecia areata for

you i did a lot of research on that and

you know I tried a lot of different

things but one thing they says the go

see your dermatologist and so my

dermatologist but it was until I was

halfway off my head you know all the

hair she gave me some cortisone shots in

my head and on my scalp to help the

information go down and took prednisone

but none of the hair started to grow

back from that not immediately at least

but there are things that I believe

helped me overcome alopecia areata to

get my hair back which was one I started

meditating started meditating more and I

think that really just started to help

me with mental focus to get all that

stress out of my head so much because my

head being a tailspin and my goal is my

hair what am I give me

backup if I'm gonna go completely bald

and what's gonna happen so I really

didn't know what's gonna happen and that

fear just kept driving in my head and

was just a round-robin just I mean I

couldn't think of anything else besides

that

so meditating kind of helps slow it down

a little bit now is a practice that

didn't happen right away but the

practice of it over time I think helps

me with my mental clarity or five

million anxious to access any time or I

have something that just is like I said

going around Matt will just stop it or I

gets recognized it and just notice

there's a thought and I don't have to

focus on that anymore involved our

thoughts are bad you know we're gonna

always have them until the day we die

going on a happier note the next thing

that I did was I got back into physical

activity

I find that when I wasn't working out or

taking care of myself to the fullest

extent that I could love

yes I was in decent shape but I wasn't

working out wasn't weight training I got

back into strength training I've got

back into the gym i started working out

lifting I think the physical activity of

skateboarding across the country also

help too so I had another purpose

journey as well and Taylor just I just I

think being physically active and

healthy really helps eating better

so at that short period of time I was

really on a very good paleo diet and I

wasn't eating any type of gluten or I

wasn't Jerry I wasn't even certain knots

or anything that cause inflammation so I

got rid of that for a long period of

time and then I started seeing my hair

grow back so you know what I do

oh I started in my crap again but still

like ah the stress wasn't there so much

I could feel this like this not my chest

to relieve after i started getting some

physical activity going that I'm

meditating every day and just also

getting out of that stressful

environment i moved at in New York I

moved out of that really small apartment

was that I started finding something

that made me feel better

other than acting and modeling and that

was thickness again what I mean again I

used to be if fitness training before

moving to New York and I got lost into

the modeling and acting I still train

clients what on and off throughout those

years but I wasn't looking at myself and

doing anything to keep myself healthy as

well so i started doing that and I just

I just feel so much better after I just

got an environment and started focusing

on my own fitness journey my own fitness

goals and started competing again and

doing all these things in the gym and

training clients and helping them feel

good feel good about themselves look

better as well so I i found just a

little bit more happiness unless a

stress-free environment and work as well

so I mean I still do modeling and that's

it you know so it's not just took out

the x factor of what was getting me

stressed out the most as well I also

believe the other thing that helped me

with overcoming alopecia areata was was

not drinking you know I cut out drinking

in my life and alcohol and i just found

that the more I drank the worst things

that so cut out drinking and just really

helped a lot since then so I just find

that I just think better of mental

clarity in my life is better now so I'm

living the lifestyle that I want to and

it's not revolve around the clubbing

scene party scene and I just feel like a

lot less stressed out so it's that's

helped a lot too so those are the things

that I did to help overcome my alopecia

areata I can't say that I'm a doctor I

know exactly which one it was it could

be all of the above or it could be one

thing I can't really tell but that's

what I did to overcome my alopecia

areata and now my hair is back and the

best part is too i'm not so obsessed

with that innocence against but hair

product in my hair everyday except to

look perfect

I don't even use hair product actually i

barely use it unless I'm going on a

casting of shooting for something or

special occasion like a wedding or

something like that and i'm wearing a

suit and I just want a good for this so

yeah that is another plus them actually

not of one losing one's losing one's

head hurts sometimes just not just not

so attached to it anymore since I know

what it's like not to have it so guys I

hope this helped you anybody has

alopecia areata my field for you

I but I've talked to many people who had

it on the way and it's not fun i hope

this video helped maybe use some of

these tools in your everyday life even

if you don't have alopecia all it'll

just help you overall well-being as well
