JESSICA: DEMOCRATS AND

REPUBLICANS IN A SHOWDOWN OVER

HEALTH CARE.

WELCOME TO "MATTER OF FACT."

JESSICA: HI, I'M JESSICA GOMEZ,

IN FOR SOLEDAD O'BRIEN.

THE BATTLE LINES ARE DRAWN.

REPUBLICANS, VOWING TO REPEAL

AND REPLACE OBAMACARE, ARE

TAKING THEIR FIRST STEPS

IN THE COMING WEEK, THE SENATE

EXPECTED TO PASS A BUDGET

RESOLUTION THAT COULD BEGIN THE

DISMANTLING OF OBAMA'S SIGNATURE

LAW.

THE REPUBLICAN MAJORITY SAYS

MOST AMERICANS WANT OBAMACARE TO

GO.

IN FACT, ACCORDING TO A RECENT

POLL, AMERICANS ARE DIVIDED.

29% SAID THE AFFORDABLE CARE ACT

HAS HURT THEM AND THEIR

FAMILIES.

18% SAY THE ACA HAS HELPED THE

51% SAY IT HAS HAD NO IMPACT.

AND DEMOCRATS, GEARING UP FOR A

LONG AND POTENTIALLY NASTY

FIGHT, SAY REPEALING THE PLAN

WILL CREATE CHAOS.

SO, IF OBAMACARE IS REPEALED,

WHAT WILL GO IN ITS PLACE?

AND WHAT DOES THAT MEAN FOR

THOSE MILLIONS OF PEOPLE WHO ARE

CURRENTLY COVERED?

SENATOR BILL CASSIDY,

REPUBLICAN FROM LOUISIANA AND

A PHYSICIAN FOR THREE DECADES,

JOINS US NOW TO TALK ABOUT

WHAT'S NEXT.

SENATOR CASSIDY, THANKS FOR

JOINING US.

APPRECIATE I

AS A PHYSICIAN FOR YEARS, YOU

HAVE SPONSORED OWN REPLACEMENT

HEALTHCARE LEGISLATION

WHAT IN YOUR AGAIN IS WORKING

WITH THE AFFORDABLE CARE ACT AND

WHAT IS NOT?

SENATOR CASSIDY: THE FACT THAT

PEOPLE WITH PREEXISTING

CONDITIONS DON'T LOSE INSURANCE

IS A GOOD THING.

THE FACT THAT KIDS STAY

THEIR PARENTS' INSURANCE UNTIL

THEY ARE 26 -- ORIGINALLY A

REPUBLICAN PROPOSAL BY THE W

-- IS A GOOD THING.

ON THE OTHER HAND, COST IS

EXPLODING.

A FRIEND OF MINE AND HIS WIFE,

60 AND 61, THEIR POLICY -- I PUT

IT ON MY FACEBOOK PAGE.

THEIR POLICY IS $39,000 A YEAR

EACH WITH $6000 DEDUCTIBLES.

WHENEVER YOU HEAR OBAMACARE

REFERRED TO AS THE AFFORDABLE

ACT, YOU WANT TO LAUGH.

IT'S NOT AFFORDABLE.

IT'S UNAFFORDABLE.

JESSICA: PRESIDENT-ELECT TRUMP

SEEMS TO SUPPORT SOME OF THE ACA

-- AFFORDABLE CARE ACT, AS YOU

MENTIONED -- NOT DISCRIMINATING

AGAINST PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS,

KEEPING YOUNG PEOPLE ON THEIR

PARENTS' PLAN.

WHAT DO YOU ENVISION?

IF YOU HAD IT YOUR WAY, WHAT

WOULD STAY AND WHAT WOULD GO?

SENATOR CASSIDY: FROM

PERSPECTIVE, WASHINGTO D.C.,

SHOULD GIVE TO STATES AND TO

PATIENTS.

THE PROPOSAL WE PUT FORWARD

WOULD ALLOW STATE LEGISLATURES

TO EITHER GO WITH THE REPUBLICAN

ALTERNATIVE, AN ALTERNATIVE

WHICH GIVES THE PATIENT THE

POWER, NOT A WASHINGTON

BUREAUCRAT

BUT IF A STATE DECIDES TO STAY

ON OBAMACARE, THE STATE COULD

DECIDE TO STAY ON OBAMACARE.

SO IF CALIFORNIA AND NEW YORK

WANT TO STAY ON OBAMACARE, THEY

WOULD CONTROL IT FROM SACRAMENTO

AND ALBANY.

OR IF A STATE REALLY WANTS

NOTHING, THE STATE COULD

ENTIRELY REPEAL OBAMACARE WITHIN

THEIR BORDERS AND NOT REPLACE IT

WITH ANYTHING.

I THINK THE PERSON WHO GOVERNS

CLOSEST, GOVERNS BEST.

JESSICA: REPUBLICANS SAY THEY

WANT TO MAKE THIS A SMOOTH

TRANSITION

HOW IS THAT GOING TO BE

POSSIBLE?

HOW DO YOU ENVISION THAT

HAPPENING?

AND WILL PEOPLE WHO ARE INSURED

RIGHT NOW LOSE THEIR INSURANCE?

SENATOR CASSIDY: THE FIRST

ANSWER, WORKING BACKWARDS, NO,

THE PEOPLE CURRENTLY INSURED

WILL KEEP THEIR INSURANCE.

THE WOMAN WITH THE BREAST LUMP,

IF SHE IS THE PRISM, SHE NEEDS

TO BE ABLE TO CONTINUE THROU

HER MANAGEMENT, CHEMOTHERAPY,

AND RECOVERY.

THE PROPOSAL I PUT FORWARD, AND

SUSAN COLLINS IS A COSPONSOR, A

SIMILAR PROPOSAL WITH PETE

SESSIONS, CONGRESSMAN SESSIONS,

HAS INTRODUCED IN BOTH CHAMBER

-- WE WOULD IN THIS YEAR PASS

THE REPEAL/REPLACE LEGISLATION.

IN 2018, STATE LEGISLATUR

WOULD DECIDE BETWEEN OUR

ALTERNATIVE.

IN 2019, THE STATE IMPLEMENTS.

AND BY 2020, THE NEW SYSTEM IS

UP AND RUNNING.

JESSICA: FOR AMERICANS, IT COMES

DOWN TO COSTS, KEEPING PREMIUMS

AND THOSE DEDUCTIBLES DOWN.

SO HOW ARE REPUBLICANS GOING TO

KEEP THOSE COSTS DOWN BUT AL

PROVIDE GOOD HEALTH INSURANCE?

SENATOR CASSIDY: A COUPLE OF

WAYS.

ONE THING THAT WILL HELP LOWER

COSTS, IN OUR BILL WE INCLUDE

PRICE TRANSPARENCY.

THE EXAMPLE GIVES YOU THE

STATISTIC.

A WOMAN I KNOW, AN OBGYN, WENT

IN FOR A MAMMOGRAM AND SHE WAS

GOING TO PAY CASH.

THEY SAID WE'LL BILL YOU.

I'D RATHER PAY CASH.

NO, WE'LL BILL YOU.

WE DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT IT WILL

COST YOU, SO SHE SAYS FINE.

TURNS OUT IF SHE HAD PAID CASH,

IT WOULD HAVE BEEN $90 FOR HER

MAMMOGRAM.

HER INSURANCE WAS BILLED $500

AND HER DEDUCTIBLE WAS $100.

SHE ENDED UP PAYING MORE

PERSONALLY AND THROUGH INSURANCE

THAN IF THERE HAD BEEN NO PRICE

-- THAT IF THERE HAD BEEN PRICE

TRANSPARENCY.

ONE AREA IN WHICH PRICE

TRANSPARENCY HAS BEEN SEEN TO

WORK IS LASIK SURGERY. LASIK,

YOU CAN SEE BILLBOARDS

ADVERTISING WHAT THE PRICE I

IN THE LAST 15 YEARS, IT HAS

GONE FROM $900 AN EYE, WITH MORE

FOR ASTIGMATISM, TO $275 AN EY

BECAUSE THAT IS CASH-BASED,

PRICE TRANSPAREN

JESSICA: HOW DO YOU ENFORCE

THAT?

SENATOR CASSIDY: IN OUR

LEGISLATION UNDER THE REPUBLICAN

ALTERNATIVE, EVERY ELIGIBLE

AMERICAN WOULD GET AN

ADVANCEABLE, REFUNDABLE TAX

CREDIT WHICH COULD ONLY BE USED

FOR HEALTHCARE AND WOULD START

OFF AS A HEALTH SAVINGS ACCOUNT

WITH A CATASTROPHIC POLICY.

THE RULE WOULD SAY THAT IF A

PROVIDER TREATS SOMEONE THAT HAS

THESE TAXPAYER-FUNDED HEALTH

SAVING ACCOUNTS, THEN THE

PROVIDER MUST PUBLISH HER CASH

PRICE.

AND THAT WAY, THE MARKET

RESPONDS.

THAT APP HAS ALREADY BEEN

WRITTEN.

NEW HAMPSHIRE HAS SUCH AN APP,

SO I KNOW THE TECH IS OUT THERE.

YOU COULD SCAN AND GO -- AND

KNOW THAT IS THE BEST PRICE.

LET'S PUT MARKET FORCES INTO

Gosh (Cover) — Wanderers (by Erik Wernquist) - Duration: 4:47.

We were wanderers from the beginning.

When the drought was prolonged, or when an unsettling chill lingered in the summer air,

our group moved on—sometimes to unknown lands.

We sought a better place.

We could always begin again.

When the climate was congenial, though, when the food was plentiful, we were willing to

stay put.

Unadventurous.

Overweight.

Careless.

In the last ten thousand years—an instant in our long history— we've abandoned the

nomadic life.

We've domesticated the plants and animals.

Why chase the food when you can make it come to you?

For all its material advantages, the sedentary life has left us edgy, unfulfilled.

Even after 400 generations in villages and cities, we haven't forgotten.

The open road still softly calls, like a nearly forgotten song of childhood.

We invest far-off places with a certain romance.

This appeal, I suspect, has been meticulously crafted by natural selection as an essential

element in our survival.

Herman Melville, in Moby Dick, spoke for wanderers in all epochs and meridians,

he said: "I am tormented

with an everlasting itch for things remote.

I love to sail forbidden seas . . ."

These days there seems to be nowhere left to explore,

at least on the land area of the Earth.

Victims of their very success

the explorers now pretty much stay home.

Better places will always call to us.

Porsche 718 Boxster S MTM 415 HP Review by AutoTopNL (English Subtitles) - Duration: 10:31.

well, welcome!

it's around the freezing point

and the roof is open

if MTM call and say

we have a new 718 Boxster S ready for you

with some MTM goodies

we're not going to say no!

even if it's 0 or 1 or -1 degrees

the Porsche 718 Boxster S

is the successor to the last Boxster

with the 6 cylinder

2.7 liter in the non S version

3.4 liter in the S version

and they're downsizing

this now has a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder turbo

the Boxster S

but it does have 350 hp

so is it an improvement or not?

it's a step backwards

when it comes to sound, experience

and lineair power delivery

is not as nice as the 6 cylinder

so that's where it loses out

compared to the previous Boxster

when you look at the things you gain

with the 4 cylinder turbo engine

efficiency

it's more powerful

it's faster

so there's a gap there now

it is faster than before

but the experience level has declined

MTM goes for that gap

and gives us this orange 718 Boxster S

what have they done?

MTM M-cantronic

which means it goes from 350 hp

to 415 hp

which is quite a big difference

and you get 490 Nm

the standard Boxster S does 4.4s to 100kph

4.2s even with Sports chrono package

and this one with 65 hp extra

will do that even quicker

MTM also have fitted a new exhaust system

with a carbon fibre tip

it looks pretty cool

but the looks

is not why we're here today

because listen what happens

when I switch on sport mode

manual

it bangs so much!

it's a 4 cylinder!

this thing sounds so angry and raw

this sounds a lot more raw

than the 6 cylinder did

MTM didn't change the chassis

it has the standard Boxster S suspension

and dampers

and why would they change it

the balance of the car is incredible

MTM didn't add any aero or weight

so the balance doesn't need changing

they did fit it with MTM wheels

forged aluminium wheels

which look good on every car

I don't know how they did it

but every car we drive here

looks great with those wheels

and the exterior is pretty striking

with some MTM stickers

that 718 sticker

it has changed a bit

the character of the Boxster

the 6 cylinder meant it was a really nice GT

and fun to drive some corners at 70%/80%

but with this 4 cylinder, PDK box and exhaust

you just want to go all the time

and downshift

you do notice

it's a bit slippery

so there's not a whole lot of grip

and it has Michelin pilot sport cup 2 tires

which are..

let's call them brave street tires

so even with traction control left on

in first gear

it will slide a bit

it has really surprised me

this is really something

if you buy a 718 Boxster S

I can imagine the sound

is not that exciting

and it's a lot of fun now

those bangs are so much fun

and it fits this car so well

because you have this nimble convertible

and you want to attack corners

so when you approach a corner

shift down a couple of times

you those bangs behind you

and onwards

Porsche by MTM

those pops and crackles in the rev limiter

this is one of the best sounding 4-cylinders

we've ever driven I think

it's been a long time

since I had such a big smile

from a 4 cylinder

my god

this car is so much fun

and it's such a good car

MTM are so good at pushing the limit

and in finding that missing bit of emotion

and especially in a car like this

where you really mis the 6 cylinder

that is the piece everyone is looking for

and it's fast too!

hereby, a call to all 718 Boxster S

owners and future owners

because this exhaust is a necessity

and that chip with 415 hp

is a welcome addition

Day 14 : Why Praying and reading the Bible is Important (What Is Love? Challenge) - Duration: 7:29.

Hi loves this is Dee and welcome back to my channel.

Today we're going to resume back to our love challenge, where for 29 days I'll be

sharing bible verses on Love so that we can gain a deeper understanding of God's definition

of Love according to his divine plan.

On Day 13 we spoke about how God protects us from our enemies and acts as our shield

and today's bible verses are another prayer to ask God to instruct us and guide us to

live according to his ways.

Today's bible verses are from Psalm Chapter 25 verses 1 to 10 and I'm reading from the English Standard Version Holy Bible

and it says, 25 To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul.

2 O my God, in you I trust; let me not be put to shame;

let not my enemies exult over me.

3 Indeed, none who wait for you shall be put to shame;

they shall be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous.

4 Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths.

5 Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation;

for you I wait all the day long.

6 Remember your mercy, O Lord, and your steadfast love,

for they have been from of old.

7 Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions;

according to your steadfast love remember me,

for the sake of your goodness, O Lord!

8 Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in the way.

9 He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way.

10 All the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness,

for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.

So in today's Bible verses, we see that we're asking God to guide us in the path of righteousness.

As we all know we are born of sin, we're all sinners in the eyes of God, we're naturally

born of sin because of Adam.

We're imperfect in that way, it's really natural for us to sin.

It's like second nature to us, and because of that we're easily trapped into sin.

The only way we can lead a righteous life, the only way we can please God and walk in

righteousness is by having a connection with God by asking him to instruct us and to guide

us and to teach us how to live well.

Because God is the only perfect being, we need to be taught by him how to live and we

need to look up to him for instruction and guidance, so the only way we can do this really

is through prayer.

Prayer is the ultimate link that we have to God, it's our only connection and life line

to God.

And that is why it is very important to have a strong and consistent prayer life.

Because this is the only way that we can gain instruction, direction and guidance from God and we

can ask him for that and we can also receive that from him.

When we're still and we're communicating with God, that is the only way we can hear

his voice in our life.

Another way that we can see that God guides us and teaches us is through the bible.

Reading the bible is very important for a life of a Christian because, that's another

way where we can see examples of how God guides us and how God wants us to live.

We can see from the very beginning after Adam and Eve are placed in the garden the first

thing God gives them is instructions, he teaches them how to live within the garden then we

see this again with Moses he gives him the ten commandments so that the people of Israel

can lead lives which please God.

And then we see this again with Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ came here so that we can see a living example of how God wants us to live

while we're here.

And even after Jesus Christ departs from us, God gives us the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit convicts us and teaches us and guides us in the way that we shall live.

So the only way we can set our eyes on God.

The only way we can fear him follow his ways and truly live a life that's pleasing to

him, is to consistently pray and hear his direction and hear his voice and follow his

instruction and guidance.

And another way is to read the bible, if we read the bible consistently, what we think

of constantly, what we fill our minds with is what will ultimately manifest in our lives.

So if we fill our minds with the powerful word of God, ultimately we will lead a life

that pleases him.

Also in the bible there is so many instructions, of how other people live that we can learn

from.

There are many examples of what happened to other people, that we can draw from those

things by meditating on them and we can see where they made mistakes and we can learn

from those mistakes, also we can learn God's character, we can learn how much he loves

us and how much we're worth to him, knowing all these things will really instill the fear

within us so that we can lead a life that is pleasing to him and we can also show him

that we love him.

One thing we can draw out from the story of Adam and Eve is the fact that even though

God gave them instructions of how they should live in the garden of Eden and they failed

God did not give up on them.

Of course as a loving teacher and father that he is, he gave them a punishment; he led them

away from the garden but he did not forsake them, he continued to protect them and guide

them and even through generations and generations he continued to show them how they should

live.

So every now and then we may fail because the flesh is weak, we may sin, but God will

never forsake us or leave us.

He will continue to try to lead us in the path of righteousness.

So today let us pray to God and ask him to give us humble hearts.

Hearts that are ready and eager to receive his guidance and instructions a heart that

wants to please him, that wants to pray and read the bible and receive his word

and will be eager to live accordingly to how he wants us to live.

So I hope today's video truly blessed you guys and that you were touched by the word

of God and I will see you guys in the next video, take care and know that God loves you

so much.

Much love and stay blessed.

See you in the next one Bye

How Sarkar Syedna Ghous e Azam (Razi Allah o Taala Anhu) Defeat the Devil

Mehboob e Subhani, Ghous e Samdani, Hazrat Sheikh Syed Abdul Qadir Jilani (Razi Allah o Taala Anhu)

said that one day I went to a forest, there was nothing available to eat and drink.

Stay there for many days and faced very tough carving,

A piece of cloud appeared on my head, some drops of water fell down from it

which I drink. Afte that I saw a lightning face, due to that sky shine till to edge

and a sound came that Sheikh Syed Abdul Qadir Jilani (Razi Allah o Taala Anhu)

I am you Lord, I permitted you (Razi Allah o Taala Anhu) all forbidden

things. I immediately recited "Tauz".

Light disappeared immediately and that light

changed into smoke. Then again another sound came that Mehboob e Subhani

(Razi Allah o Taala Anhu) your (Razi Allah o Taala Anhu) 13 00:02:38,080 --> 00:02:47,090 knowledge saved you (Razi Allah o Taala Anhu),

before that the same way I put in Seventy Saints of God (70) in the depth of divagation.

Sarkar Syedna Ghous e Azam (Razi Allah o Taala Anhu) said oh abominable not my knowledge

rather superiority of my God saved me.

IT WOULD HAVE BEEN $90 FOR HER

SHE ENDED UP PAYING MORE

JESSICA: HOW DO YOU ENFORCE

THAT?

SENATOR CASSIDY: IN OUR

LEGISLATION UNDER THE REPUBLICAN

ALTERNATIVE, EVERY ELIGIBLE

AMERICAN WOULD GET AN

ADVANCEABLE, REFUNDABLE TAX

CREDIT WHICH COULD ONLY BE USED

WITH A CATASTROPHIC POLICY.

THE RULE WOULD SAY THAT IF A

The President: We cannot truly protect our

planet without protecting our ocean.

It's been said that we don't inherit the earth from our

parents, so much as we borrow it from our children.

Our children prove every day that they care deeply about

this planet.

Their right to inherit a healthy planet is a sacred

responsibility for all of us.

And how we treat our oceans is a big part of that burden.

Just last month we created the largest marine-protected

area on earth.

It is now twice the size of Texas.

The trip we took to Midway -- which is right in the

center of this new marine preserve -- we drove around,

went to a beach in which there were six or seven

turtles lying in the sun, and we have sea turtles down

in Hawaii, but we never see them on the beach.

But up in Midway they didn't have people chasing them

away and so they felt pretty comfortable.

Turns out they like sun when we're not over-crowding

the beaches.

And then we went out snorkeling, and the coral

was purple, and it was orange, and there were monk

seals sunning themselves on some rocks and one of them

dove in which made one of the people on my team who I

shall not name pretty nervous.

(laughter)

The President: And we spent the afternoon

looking at this incredible variety of fish, and that

too was a great cause for us because it reminded us that

nature is actually resilient if we take care to just stop

actively destroying it.

It'll come back.

And certainly the oceans can come back if we take the

steps that are necessary.

I saw it.

It was right there, evidence of the incredible power of

nature to rebuild itself if we're not consistently

trying to tear it down.

Artist Advice | What advice can you give to beginner artists? - Duration: 5:24.

From the years that I've been drawing and trying to get better and better with my art,

I've learnt some things that I thought I'd share with you to answer the question of 'what

advice and tips would I give to fellow artists or beginner artists?'

So here's five things I've learnt as a growing artist.

Practice.

This is probably the most cliché or overused advice, but it is also the fundamental way

for us to learn a skill, develop that skill, and to master that skill.

So if we want to get better at anything we do in life, we have to put the time and effort

into out craft.

That means being consistent, and doing or practicing as often as you can.

This does not mean, however, that we have to draw every single day or every single second

of the day.

What's important is we dedicate time and continue to dedicate time for learning, developing,

and mastering that craft.

So doing something as simple as doodling or five-minute sketches to creating elaborate

finished artworks that take 20 hours all contribute to the improvement of our skills.

It's a trial-and-error process.

As we practice, we will try new things or we will use the same method that worked for

us before, and we will either succeed or fail, but it's a trial-and-error process.

It means that we'll try, and try, and try again until we get our desired results.

And if we fail, then we can cry, sulk or let it out, but afterwards, we'll move on and

try again.

Now this method can get frustrating, tiresome and it can make us want to give up; and it'll

make us question 'why are we even doing this if it gets difficult?'

And that's when we decide whether or not this is our passion, or if this is something

we truly want.

So keep this in mind when experimenting with different styles, media, and techniques as

you try to find what works for you and what doesn't.

Be patient.

This advice does not mean that you have to draw slowly in order to get better at drawing.

It is about our overall growth as artists, and taking our time because the process of

developing our skills is not a race, and it's not a competition.

It is so easy to get discouraged when we see artists who are presumably at a better point

or have achieved more, which makes us question why we're not at their level yet.

But we have to remember that we shouldn't compare our beginning to someone else's

middle.

Concentrate on what you're doing.

Try methods to improve faster, but don't do it because you want to be better than another

artist; do it because you want to be better than yourself.

Be positive.

Our attitude and perspective is everything since it affects out relationship with art

and art making.

It's easy to find faults in our own work.

It's easy to notice what we did wrong in a drawing, and whilst this can help improve

our art, we need to put as much effort into recognising what we did right.

Therefore, reward yourself for small and big achievements.

Pat yourself on the back for finishing something or for simply getting through something.

If we can create a habit of seeing the bright side and having a positive attitude, it can

help us better tackle challenges and moments of doubt.

Lastly, use the resources available.

The Internet has quickly become a huge resource for artists, not just for sourcing inspiration,

finding reference images, and discovering fellow artists, but it is also a great platform

for putting yourself out there.

So if you want to get noticed, you have to tell people that you exist.

Use social media, join communities, and share your art.

This can be daunting, but something scary can be exciting, and it can mark the beginning

of an art career, and it can open up opportunities for you that you've never imagined.

And speaking of resources, I've listed the ones I used to compile this list.

They are all in the description box so use them to your advantage.

I hope you found this helpful and most of all good luck with your art.

Feel free to share in the comments below the best art advice you've received, or share

your advice for other artists, and let's all help each other out!

That is it!

Thank you so much for watching and I will see you in my next one!

Such a great movie.

Welcome to my home.

(upbeat music)

♫ Maybe it's okay to want this

I was trying to think about where I want to film this,

where in my home do I feel the most comfortable

and I thought, where else?

My filming space.

It is a place where I feel really comfortable

and I get to sit down and talk with you guys

and just chat about the things that I love

and just be myself.

It's a place where I do my makeup in the morning,

I'll hang out with my daughter Julia

and she'll help line up all of my makeup products

in a row or something,

and it's just a really chill area for me.

If you watched my videos before,

you probably already know that this is something

that I love, and I love coffee.

So, for me, my coffee grinder,

hearing the sound of the beans grinding in the morning,

the smell of fresh coffee,

it's just something that I love waking up to,

it makes me excited to get out of bed and start the day,

and so coffee has always been a big thing for me

and it reminds me of home.

The crib in my nursery where I brought my daughter home,

and my son home, it just reminds me of home

'cause my babies are sleeping there.

It's just a very happy place for me

because I get to go in when my babies wake up

and they're all excited,

and it's a beautiful, beautiful crib

that just feels very me.

This picture that I have of my dad and I

on my wedding day is another piece in the home

that is something that means a lot to me

because for me, it's one of those moments

that you think of as a little girl

that you're just gonna remember for the rest of your life.

One, for me, was trying on wedding dresses,

and second one was just standing at the end of the aisle

with my dad about to walk down the aisle,

and just having that moment captured for me

and framing it is really, really special.

I remember looking over at my dad and being really excited.

He's like, you ready?

I'm like, I'm ready.

Then, walking down the aisle to the music,

it's forever in my brain.

Another thing that I really love is my camera.

I have the Dyson 70D, not the Dyson.

(laughs)

I have the Canon 70D, and it's something that I invested in

and I love so much for a bunch of different reasons.

Number one, I love using it just for filming videos,

and doing all that fun stuff,

but also for filming events in our lives.

My sister just recently had a baby,

so filming and doing pictures and stuff for that.

Another thing that I love in our home

are these bookshelves.

And the reason I love them so much

is they're actually hand-me-downs from my parents,

and then my husband Chris refinished them

and he painted them.

He did this beautiful back splash to them

that is just gorgeous,

and every time I look at them

I just fall in love with them.

I think they're so beautiful

and really nice statement pieces.

Another space in our home that I like to spend

a lot of time in,

and I'm really, really in love with

is this little reading nook that we had built for Julia.

And it's so girly and it has the glitter,

and it has the tulle, and all these beautiful stars,

and it's just such a magical little area.

If you watch my channel, you know that I love cookies.

I bake them every single night

because I just love them,

they're just a nice comfort food for me,

and so the oven is sort of a representation

of a lot of my passions and things that I enjoy doing.

Another one is our kitchen table,

it's one of those first big elements

that Chris and I bought together.

It's become sort of an area, again,

for hanging out with family and friends.

We had a smaller table that was a hand-me-down from family

that worked really, really well for us for many years,

but we wanted to get something bigger

so that we could have more space for our friends and family

to come over and hang out.

It's just a nice area of activity.

And then lastly, it's probably my laptop,

and while that is a very portable element of my home,

I guess, it's something that I carry with me

basically everywhere that I go.

It's some that I use to connect with you guys,

and being able to go back and forth on Twitter,

and have conversations on Instagram,

and respond to comments, and edit my videos,

and my photos and things like that.

Everything is done just in that one central device

and I love it.

something special about January.

And I've always kind of felt that.

It's like the whole world is being pushed out of Mother Nature's vagina...what?!

Some of you may be wondering what happened with me and Vlogmas, and the short answer

of it is that I got really overwhelmed.

The longer answer of it is I didn't know what I wanted to create anymore.

I...knew I wanted to do something, knew I had to do something, but I didn't know what

that was.

And, to be honest, I...still kind of don't.

However, instead of doing nothing at all, Imma try this new thing where I do everything

Anyway, happy new year!

It's 2017, people, that's really exciting.

I keep throwing my hand in the air cause I'm not playing a video game and I don't know

what to do with my hand when I'm not playing a video game.

Sigh, story of my life.

Once again, it is 2017, you guys... not once again, it's never been 2017 again.

This is going horribly.

This is the worst thing ever.

It's 2017, everybody, and that is a super exciting time because a new year means new

things can happen, because they can't happen otherwise.

Because destiny just says that, apparently.

Things are laid out by twelve months and you can't start a new thing until twelve months

are over, right?

That's totally the way it works.

I'm making it that and I'm starting up some new stuff this year, you may have already

seen, I started off the new year with an exciting new trailer, so if you haven't watched that

yet, be sure to watch the trailer for this channel.

It basically just explains everything that this channel is about.

It kind of the basics of what this channel is supposed to be.

Also, quite exciting, some of you may be cheering, some of you may be crying, either way, it's

just an exciting time, since December is over, Pokémonth is officially over, so we'll be

seeing some other videos, other than just Pokémon White every single Tuesday and Thursday,

although I really enjoyed that, it was kind of nice to focus on a game for a while.

I'm going to try and change it up a little bit again.

So, I'll still be putting out Pokémon White, but it just won't be every single Tuesday

and Thursday.

It'll slow down a little bit, so we'll start going a little bit slower with that.

Although, I have really enjoyed that game, so I'm going to keep playing.

Fear not.

*train choo choos* I'm going to wait for that train to pass.

There's always a train.

Always a train.

Always a train.

Tuesday and Thursdays , as it said in the trailer, will be continuing.

That's still the schedule, it works for me.

I hope that it works for you guys.

I hope that you guys like that schedule and that it helps you keep it on track.

Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1 o' clock is the time that I set to release every video that

I put out.

Occasionally, I'll get a little busy with school and, Tuesdays and Thursday at 1 won't

happen... it'll be Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9 or 10 or 12:01 or whatever, don't judge

me.

Saturdays ideally, for this next year, will kind of be amping up.

That's my hope.

I want to start doing more of that kind of stuff.

I feel like the content can be a little bit more hashed out.

It can be a little bit better.

Since I have a bit more time and I'm not necessarily on such a strict deadline.

The Let's Plays on Tuesdays and Thursdays...

Not saying that Let's Plays are easy, because there is still work that goes into that.

There's production that goes into that.

There's thought and time and effort and that kind of stuff.

But there, almost, it doesn't require as much focus and quite as much planning and pre-production

as it does the other videos, the reviews and things like that.

So, I'm going to try and focus on those more, while still continuing the Let's Plays.

But, I want to be able to do more of those, because those are really fun.

And I think you guys are enjoying those.

Some of you may only be watching this channel for those, in fact.

And that is totally fine, that's totally understandable.

This channel is multi-faceted for a reason.

Because, I don't just want to focus on one thing.

If you know me at all, then you know that I can't just focus on one hobby.

I have like a million hobbies.

So, that's true to this as well.

*vocal flubs and backflips* I am mostly posting this video, because I wanted to share with

you guys my goals for 2017.

Most people normally set a New Year's Resolution.

But instead of a New Year's Resolution and a change, I want to set goals instead.

So, my goals for this channel might be a little bit idealistic, they might not be.

I don't know.

Maybe I'll be able to reach them easily within the first couple months, maybe I won't reach

them by the end of the year.

But, these are my goals for 2017.

Number 1: Something that I want to make sure that I get - I know that I'm not even at a

100 subs yet - but I'd like to reach 200 subs by the end of the year.

I don't know if that's possible, it might be.

It might not be.

I'm not sure.

But, that's my goal.

I'd like to be able to have 200 subs at the end of this year, just so that I can be getting

my content out there and spread out even further.

I'd like to have 10,000 views, total, on all the videos.

So, that one's not TOO far away.

Hopefully, I should be able to achieve that one just by keeping up my regular pace and

schedule.

And then my goals for consistency are, I want to make sure that I keep up with the two Let's

Plays every single week on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1 o' clock.

I want to start doing a vlog, like this, once every two weeks or so.

Just to kind of fill you guys in on my life and to let you see this side of me a little

more, instead of just my goofy gaming side, but kind of, who is this guy and what is he

doing?

That kind of thing.

I also want to put out a review a month.

So, if you haven't seen my Black Cat review, you ought to check it out.

It's reviewing a very, uh, not a very popular actually, reviewing a manga that was kind

of popular in America whenever I was growing up.

And so, I wanted to share that with you guys through the form of review.

And, I got some pretty good feedback on it, so I'm hoping to be able to do more of those.

With manga and with tv shows, comics, anything that I feel like.

Couch Collab is going to remain kind of fluid, but I would like to make sure that I maintain

Couch Collab, because I really enjoy it.

Hogan lives pretty far away so it's hard for me to get Couch Collab with him, but Ryan

lives pretty close, so hopefully I'll be able to do more with him.

And I have other buddies that I'd really like to collab with, so I'll, you guys will know

more about that soon, hopefully.

I'll share more about that a little later on in the video, some plans that I might have

for this year.

I'm also trying to amp up a little bit on social media, if you don't follow me on any

of my social media accounts, I'll post those down below, as I usually do.

I have a Facebook, I have a Twitter.

Twitter is actually my Twitter, the Facebook is Single Player.

But I would love if you guys would follow me on those accounts.

I'm going to try and post daily.

Spread some nerdy news or just some pictures that I might find funny or anything along

those lines.

I hope that you guys will consider following me on those.

That'll be daily outreach with you guys, so we can keep in touch in that way.

And the Commute will be returning.

I know that you guys are probably like, "What the heck?

He put up one episode and then he didn't do anymore of this podcast?"

It is coming back, I no longer had a commute.

Because school was out for Christmas break.

So, the Commute kind of ended for a little bit because my commute ended.

Which was a good thing, right?

Yes, the Commute will be returning, hopefully at the end of this month.

That is the ideal plan.

I start back school on January the 11th, I might try to get back into the swing of things

for a little bit.

But, then, we'll have some more Commute coming at ya.

So, looking forward to that.

If you haven't ever had the chance to check out some of my other channels, I also have

some goals set for them, as well.

Namely, Nathan Webb Music.

I had kind of taken a step back from that for this year (2016), because I have been

focusing on Single Player and other things like that.

And I'm not 100% sure that I'll be able to focus any more on this, but I'd like to at

least be able to put out a cover or something once a month on Nathan Webb Music.

Just to kind of keep that roughly active.

I'm not going to promise the content is going to be too high.

To kind of allot the time for music production, in addition to all the other things that I'm

doing, is just impossible.

But, if you would, check out that channel.

Check out some of the videos that I have backlogged on it already.

If you didn't know, I like music a lot.

If you can't tell from all the guitars in the background, and this lovely flower painting.

Um, I'm very masculine.

Exciting!

Exciting thing.

I'm going to be in a voice acting thingy.

I'm going to be in a comic dub over on a channel that's a good friend of this channel's.

If you haven't check out MoFace, be sure to do that.

So, I will be in that in some capacity, unless I wasn't supposed to spoil that.

I really should probably ask her.

I'm going to email her.

(I did not.)

I don't know it's out there.

(I'm a monster.

Instant rationalization.)

But, MoFace, check her out if you haven't checked her out.

Hopefully, she''ll be popping up somewhere on the screen.

I'm not sure how this thing works, yet.

I really haven't figured out YouTube.

For how long I've been in YouTube, I really have no idea what I'm doing.

Speaking- Speaking of shoutouts, let's do a couple shoutouts, cause I really want to

shout some channels that I love and some people that are close to me.

And I'd like to make sure that you guys know them, as well.

First off, AJ Sunshine is back in the game.

If you don't know AJ Sunshine, he's somebody that I've been talking about for the past

couple months.

He's a buddy of mine from High Point that I, uh, he challenged me to FNAF and all that

kind of stuff.

And, he is a hilarious new YouTuber coming up on the scene.

I'd love for you guys to check him out.

To check out his Let's Plays and series.

He actually just started something not too long ago where he teaches you how to use After

Effects.

So, if you're curious about After Effects or if you need any of those kinds of tutorials,

he's a pro at it and he would be glad to teach you and help you with those reference materials.

So, I will post a link as well to his channel.

And then, one last shoutout of the day, another good buddy from High Point, Sierra Middlebrooks.

She has been kind of amping up her activity of YouTube, I'm very excited to see where

she goes from here and how much she continues to increase her content.

I've always loved the quality of her content and just her personality.

She's hilarious, if you haven't ever heard of her, please make sure to check her out.

So, that is all that I think I have to say for this first vlog.

It's been a little bit longer than I wanted to.

Or maybe shorter.

I don't know.

Vlogs are weird.

I'm not used to them.

But I kind of enjoyed talking to a camera for a bit and not talking to a video game.

Hope that you guys have enjoyed this.

If you haven't, please be sure to let me know down below or let me know if you did enjoy

it, I'd love to hear any kind of feedback that you guys might have.

Any upvotes, downvotes, whatever you want to send me, be sure to send it my way, so

that I know what you guys are thinking of this content in particular and my plans for

this upcoming year, because I think it's going to be a really exciting time for Single Player.

I'm looking forward to it.

I think it's going to be a blast.

So, if you want to be sure to be in on that content, be sure to click that subscribe button

to keep finding out more about this channel and about the things that I do.

And that's all that I have to say.

Bye. *ending them music*

CNN's meltdown over Russia Hacks Election & Trump vs Intel - Duration: 11:00.

also interesting to remember it's

illegal to possess

ah the stolen documents it's different

for the media so everything you learn

about this you're learning from us and

in full disclosure let's take a look

except what seems so clear to so many

joining us now senior adviser to

president elect Trump Kellyanne Conway

is a new year and I wish you the best

thank you Chris same to you so new year

but same problem that faced you at the

end of the year you are in this bad

situation where the president-elect is

an outlier not accepting the proof that

Russia is behind the hacks of the

election why does he continue to fight

was so obvious to so many Chris how is

it obvious and you see the briefings in

other words he's getting the briefing

today and we just were very concerned

about all the leaks that happen people

running to the media rather than running

to house intelligence committee meetings

closed-door meetings where they were

invited to produce the information just

this week our own president president

obama received the final report

apparently just yesterday you had the

hearings on Capitol Hill so the idea

that somehow conclusive evidence has

been out there in the public domain

provided to the president-elect is is

simply not true and the other thing

that's going on here it's very

disappointing to us in this building is

how much people are conflating alleged

Russian hacking with the actual outcome

of the election it's just nonsense any

idea that team Clinton is still running

around people are doing that your

network is doing it constantly and

that's what we need to push back on the

idea that there's this direct axis

between Russian hacking which we're

against any foreign government

interference in our cybersecurity

speaking of cybersecurity did you hear

the hearing yesterday this country's

cybersecurity is woefully under served

it's a big problem the resin tackles

officially last year

let's let's deal with some point to push

back first intelligence agency also said

that disparagement is not the best way

to help bolster our cybersecurity you

know what that was going towards the

idea of Clinton's people saying that if

the legitimacy of the election is tied

to the revelation that Russia's behind

the hacking is political

that's not something that the president

actually putting first in his priorities

and the idea that just yesterday or only

today Kellyanne is when you could safely

say that Russia was involved is nonsense

for months they've come out and they

said this one president of russia was

involved in the hacks during the

election clapper came out and only

October far as the WikiLeaks a

connection the evidence there is not

strong and we don't have good insight

into the sequencing of the releases or

when when the data may have been

provided we don't we don't have a good

insight into that that's irrelevant

see that's where you guys are starting

out because you see it should be

irrelevant that you cannot Roberts you

hold on i'll let you speak Kelly and

that we frame it let me frame clapper

came out in early October astronomical

I'm about to I'm giving you context

because you made conclusions so i have

to provide some context this is not it

tell me what's an opinion did clapper

come out in early October and say far as

the WikiLeaks a connection the evidence

there is not strong and we don't have

good insight into the sequencing of the

releases or when the when the data may

have been provided we don't we don't

have a is good insight into that and

what the president obama say and no no

not you thought what did he say what's

the question what's here is really knock

it off

what's the answer knocking off fool did

proper come out and early october and

say we know it's Russia and what what is

it finish the sentence what is it that

we know that Russia is trying to

interfere with the election results you

really think that Russia wanted are

scrutinizing it didn't want to come out

early october and say we know Russia is

behind the hacks period full stop

I was referring to the cyber

reconnaissance that we had observed many

states head state entities have had

observed prior to the statement and

that sort of activity seem to have

curtailed as far as the WikiLeaks

connection the evidence there is not

strong and we don't have good insight

into the sequencing of the releases or

when that when the data may have been

provided we don't we don't have a as

good insight into that behind the acts

of the DNC saline yes okay well let's

complete the whole sentence how are you

answer how well let you completed the

way you want is the answer you're gonna

listen he said that and you're doing

yesterday according to CNN yes I CNN

report that i read in the news that the

FBI said the DNC never exceeded to the

FBI is very simple request show to allow

the FBI access again irrelevant

irrelevant because here's what we're

talking here's my question and report on

my question is irrelevant why didn't see

it's irrelevant to my question

and we couldn't help her anymore than we

have and i was using just got just a

free ride so far from the media were the

biggest one promoter campaign we could

help bring more than we have and I

always used to go just three rides far

from Amelia were the biggest one of the

murder is why won't the president-elect

acknowledge what is so clear to the

intelligence community that Russia was

involved in the hacks and it seems to be

the instrument about he's been he's had

so much opportunity to know the answers

to this the people around him have been

able to get intelligence whenever they

want a barrage moment

speaking of disparagement I really

believe there are those out there that

are trying to just there are those out

there who are trying to deal agenda mais

his presidency review the election

results and you know it I mean he's

holding that by refusing to accept the

obvious about the intelligence

community's conclusions about Russia

being behind acts the FBI never looked

at the Democratic National Committee's

hacked computer servers and yet still

accuses Russia of being behind the

attack

that's according to an article published

online by BuzzFeed news the DNC's deputy

communications director eric walker

reportedly told the online publication

that while they met with representatives

from the FBI on a number of occasions

Intelligence Agency never requested

access to the computer surface the very

center piece of the investigation one US

official told the site that no

government entity has run independent

forensic analysis on the DNC systems the

FBI instead reportedly chose to rely on

information outsourced to a third-party

tech company known as CrowdStrike for

the most recent report released by the

FBI again points the finger at Russia

have for having hack the DNC a white

house spokesperson was questioned on

wednesday on the lack of proof presented

in this document included in that report

were specific

including that report was specific

technical advice i think it's an

indication that the intelligence

community is following more than their

gut instinct and I think the way that

you can tell that is based on the

technical analysis that was put forward

it doesn't mean that there is another

additional evidence out there I'm sure

that there is but there is a priority

that's placed on protecting sources and

methods such a silly Trent transparent

attempt to deflect attention from the

real issues what we know about the NSA

and its systems capabilities is that it

was in fact obtained by a Russian

government asset that the NSA would be

able to know that very quickly and

immediately provided absolutely not a

shred of evidence that there was in fact

a connection between the government of

russia and join us on this outfit right

now who's the one who disseminated those

emails when you poll conducted in

America has shown the inhabitants of

major cities a largely disconnected from

Americans elsewhere in the country

Caleb Maupin reports a new study

suggests that people living in urban

areas of america new york san francisco

i'm here in Washington DC live in a kind

of bubble that disconnects them from

ordinary Americans we wondered if this

also means that they live in a news

bubble in which certain information is

filtered out we decided to put our

theory to the test here on the streets

of Washington DC with a little news quiz

of our own to tell me true or false that

Russia hacked into a computer system in

Vermont and exposed a security breach in

the electrical grid your fault i did a

true that the hit i was true I heard the

story I don't know if it's true but i

did hear the story in the mainstream

media gonna go through on that one

pretty sure I heard about that in the

news

actually false alright I'm going to go

with false on that one

do you think reported that was at CNN

Washington Post or was it a Russian news

outlet if it's false i'm going to go

with not CNN Washington Post but i don't

know why the Russians would want to say

that that happens either not believe it

was something that came from Donald

Trump administration always office or

something

I think I heard it somewhere like CNN

actually washington post it turned out

to be false self anglo-american school

in Moscow was closed down in retaliation

for the new sanctions Obama imposed on

Russia true/false sounds false to me

false think it's true turn out to be

false

now I reported that one Washington Post

CNN or was it Russian news i would get

is a CNN Washington Post CNN right it

was seeing thank you

do you feel like people here in DC and a

little bit of news bubble like maybe

they only like one side of the story

definitely yes definitely oh absolutely

absolutely a Washington Post The New

York Times MSNBC CNN absolutely the real

thick news the u.s. often accuses

foreign players are trying to misinform

the American people but when news

bubbles are popping up in the very

cities where American mainstream media

is based perhaps the culprits are a

little bit closer to home Caleb Maupin

RT washington DC you're going to find

프랑스의 크리스마스 '노엘'에 대해 알아보자! Qu'est ce que c'est, Noël? '(KR/EN/FR sub) - Duration: 6:37.

Hey guys, this is PPANAM

Today we are going to talk about Christmas in France,

According to the public poll research association, Korean Gallub,

more than half of Korean population don't have a religion.

Maybe due to this reason, normally, Christmas in Korea isn't very religious. people just gather among friends

just go out for a date between couple during the Christmas holiday

Simply it has become just one other commercial event holiday in Korea.

In my case too, I also just met friends or take some rest in my room just like another ordinary holiday.

Christmas is called as 'Noël' in France.

This Noel isn't much similar as the Christmas we generally know.

It's like.. Korean new year day or thanks giving days, such as a traditional familial holiday.

Street is already set up from November,

People are already excited to think about their Christmas gift during December.

When finally Christmas holiday comes, people all go back to their hometown to spend their time with family.

In this video,

We would like to talk about this special French Christmas, Noël!

As I explained earlier in the short introduction,

Christmas in Korea is a lot different from Christmas in France.

During Christmas Day in Korea, we don't work.

It is just a general holiday like any other holiday. We don't do anything special.

It is more likely considered as a commercial day.

It is actually considered like that because half of the population in Korea doesn't have any religion.

So,when I came to France,

I noticed something completely different from Korea.

And that's why I started to wonder about Christmas in France.

Christmas remains as a religious day in France. In other words, the main purpose is still about commemorating Jesus' birth.

But nowadays, we don't really celebrate it as a religious day anymore.

It is more like a commercial or familial day.

Just like Korea // YES

That's right. By the way, Christmas is also a holiday in France.

o it allows even those who work to meet their family during this time.

So, friends, family...

Well, on contrary, in France Christmas isn't really a day to gather with friends comparing to Korea.

It is definitely a day for family reunion.

Here in France?

Yes. In France, Christmas is a day we celebrate with our family.

This is a major event in the year. We look forward to Christmas.

Indeed, I think I noticed something like that.

We can early feel a Christmassy atmosphere here.

People start to prepare Christmas from November.

It seems like the spirit of Christmas is quite important for french people.

As you said, we can feel the spirit of Christmas from November.

I actually think that we can even feel it earlier than this.

That is to say that approximately starting from September, we only think about Christmas.

And in fact, we can see a lot of decorations in streets and shops quite early.

Still people tend to wait until December to decorate the house.

For example, in my family case, we always wait for 6th December to decorate Christmas tree!

Oh, and we have very special calender, calling as 'Calendrier de l'avent.'

What is that 'Calendrier de l'avent'?

'Calendrier de l'avent is something parents give to their children on December the 1st.

It helps them to be patiently waiting until the 24th of december.

Everyday they open a small window, and normally there is a chocolate in each window.

And this lasts until Christmas eve, 24th.

I just said "generally" because nowadays those gifts are becoming more diverse.

For example, we can now find toys in advent calendars.

So when you open the windows you can find a new today everyday.

Interesting!

It actually doesn't exist in South Korea.

So, there's one another question!

I noticed that the way you decorate the Christmas tree is quite big.

what do you do when Christmas is over? Do you throw everything away?

It depends. Some families buy Christmas tree every year, real one.

But for example, in my family we have a synthetic tree which means we can use it every year

So, when Christmas is over

we just stock it into cardboard boxes along with the tinsels and wait until next Christmas.

And Christmas tree is also an important part

because this is where we put our presents.

Yes! When we talk about Christmas, on automatically think about the presents.

In Korea... Well, I don't know.

Maybe it is just me but I never exchanged any present on Christmas.

Is present exchange really important?

I think so.

To me, Christmas is all about presents.

ithout presents, Christmas wouldn't be Christmas.

And this especially for kids.

It's also true that I personally changed my mind a little bit as I aged.

Now I really enjoy the family gathering

and I even prefer this aspect more than the presents one.

So, when do you open the Christmas presents?

According to the tradition, we should open our presents on Christmas

which means on 25th, not on 24th.

Indeed, the 24th of December is only the Christmas Eve.

But..

most of the time we actually open our presents during the evening of 24th December

because of a certain kind of impatience, something like that..

owever, in my family we still wait until midnight to open our presents

We have a huge dinner and then we open them.

Talking about Christmas dinner, what do you generally eat on that day?

Of course, the menu can be different for each family,

but generally speaking we often eat seafoods, salmon and "foie gras" for the entrée.

What else do you eat, like as a main dish?

As the main dish we normally eat a turkey.

For dessert, we eat Christmas firewood.

In fact, this name came from a firewood,

but now it's only used for calling an iced dessert we eat during the Christmas.

In the past, there was a tradition putting a wood log in the fireplace on Christmas Day.

And we called it as "Bûche de Noël"

Nowadays, we don't obviously follow this tradition

but we still keep our tradition of the "bûche de Noël" by replacing as eating this dessert.

It's also interesting haha

I feel like I know pretty much everything about Christmas in France now.

But before concluding our video, I wanted to talk about one last thing.

I noticed that Christmas holidays are particularly long here.

How long Christmas holiday is in France?

I think we usually have two weeks of vacation.

Christmas holidays are indeed the longest vacation during the academic year.

From elementary school to high school we have two weeks off

but as we enter university it can change based on the exam period.

In my case, it was for 3 weeks!

It's not bad honestly!

I also have a question!

What do like the most: Christmas in Korea or Christmas in France?

It seems like I prefer Christmas in France!

New Year's Resolutions 2k17 - Duration: 4:10.

Hey everyone, it's Rina.

This is a new experience for me.

I actually got a tiny little tripod for my phone so I could take better quality vlogs

while I'm on the go or while I'm at home, et cetera.

I know probably everyone you know is doing one of these vlogs, but I am making a vlog

about my 2017 new year's resolutions.

I didn't really have any concrete idea of what I wanted to do for my new year's resolutions

until about five minutes ago.

Okay, so first I wanna talk about 2016.

We all know it was a rough year for a lot of people.

It was a year that came with a lot of cold, hard truths for me.

And it was kinda sucky, honestly.

And I had a bitter taste in my mouth when the year ended, and I don't wanna carry that

with me into this year.

I really want this year to be a fresh start in some senses.

Some of 2016 I am going to bring with me.

You can't go forward without considering where you came from.

So I am going to do that, basically.

So, new year's resolutions.

I'm not really one to make new year's resolutions that are really concrete.

I don't like doing things that are specifically this, that, and the other thing.

I don't like saying, "I'm gonna do this five times a day every day," you know?

I'm not that kind of person.

For long term-goals, that is not something that I tend to abide to.

So one thing that I want to do for 2017 is to just be more honest with myself in what

I'm able to do.

I want to be clear and honest about how well I'm doing each day, and whether or not I'm

having any problems with something.

One of the things that came to be a road block for me last year and other times in the past

was telling myself that I could do something when I really didn't have the resources or energy to.

And I end up overtaxing myself way too easily when I do that.

So I want to be more honest with myself on that this year.

Another thing that I want to do is generally aim to be more healthy.

I know Parks & Rec has, you know, 'treat yo self.'

Treat yourself and take care of yourself.

But I took that way too literally at the end of the year.

I used everything as an excuse to indulge myself.

And I really need to cut back on that.

And not just go cold turkey, don't eat chocolate, don't sleep an extra hour - no, it's not like that.

But I really need to be more aware of what's healthy for me.

I lost sight of that a lot this year, I think.

What I really want to do is just be more mindful of my health.

And I think that's always a goal for me, but I really want to actually take that to heart this year.

I know this vlog is kinda rambly, because I literally just thought of it like ten minutes

ago, going, "I'm gonna do the thing."

But I really want those to be my biggest resolutions.

And I know that I have a lot of work to do ahead of me, but I think that I'll be able to do it.

I think that I will be able to get it together and just go ahead and do it.

Yeah, those are my new year's resolutions.

Just be honest with myself, and take care of myself, basically.

Be healthy as much as I can, all the time.

That's always very much appreciated.

DIY mini soda lip gloss

if you're new to my channel and you'd

click that subscribe button and if you

enjoy this video please give it a

thumbs up so to get started you will

need one of these mini Play Doh containers

and here's a comparison between the

normal size and the mini size

make sure that you thoroughly wash and clean out

the play-doh container the first thing i

did was i remove the lid and I painted

it white you can use acrylic paint or

spray paint i do suggest sanding the

lid first so the paint sticks to it better

on a piece of cardboard i traced

around the play-doh container and then I

cut it out

test to make sure the cardboard piece fits in the lid

now to make the fake ice

you can use styrofoam balls or you can

also use a hot glue stick

if you use the hot glue stick method

just cut the hot glue stick into little pieces

and if you're going to use the

styrofoam balls then you just want to

cut those with an exacto knife into

little pieces

to make the coke color for the soda i'm

going to use some black and brown

acrylic paint and you will also need

some clear Elmer's glue mix the brown

and black paint until you get the

desired color that looks like soda

next thing I just added some of the

Elmer's clear glue to the paint mixture

paint the cardboard circle piece with

the paint and glue mixture

next add either the hot glue or the

styrofoam pieces to the glue and paint

mixture stir that all together then add

it to the top of the cardboard piece

arranging it so it looks like soda and ice

set that aside and let it dry for

about 24 hours

here are the two different pieces the

one with hot glue and the one with

styrofoam after they dried

now to make the applicator take a tube from a spray

bottle thoroughly wash and clean it

place that into the play-doh container and cut it down to size

with some strong

thread cut a big enough piece so when it

folds together it is long enough to fit

through the tube

fold the thread together and thread it

through the tube i used a toothpick to

help push it through

I cut the bottom of a makeup sponge and

then I cut that piece in half

place the sponge in the center of the thread pull tight

on the thread so the sponge goes into

the tube and it won't pull out once

that's done cut off the excess thread

next I'm going to use some of these

craft corks I found these at michaels

take one of the corks and cut off just

a small piece from it

i used a tooth get to make a small hole in the center of

the cork and then I used a screwdriver

to make the hole just a little bit bigger

place some hot glue in the hole

push the applicator in tight and then

let that dry for about 15 to 30 minutes

to secure the applicator to the lid I

just use some hot glue

once the applicator is glued into place then you want to place

the cardboard piece back into the lid it

should fit snug and not fall out but if

it isn't tight you can always hot glue

it down now to make the lip gloss what

I'm going to use is some vaseline or

petroleum jelly place enough of the

Vaseline into the play-doh container to

fill it about three-quarters full

next I'm going to add some kool-aid to

the Vaseline and mix it in

I know there are different ways to do

this this is just the way i chose to

make it

once the lip glosses is mixed up head on

over to the link down below and print

out these printables once they're

printed out then just cut them out

then just secure the label to the play-doh

container

place the lid with the applicator back

onto the play-doh container and then you

are ready to use your soda lip gloss

for the next one if you don't want to

make an applicator you can just use an

applicator from an old lipgloss tube

pull it apart from the cap and then cut it down to size

use this same method of

cutting down a cork and gluing the

applicator to that just like before

and for this one instead of making the

lip gloss i'm just going to use a couple

lip glosses that I found at the dollar

store just cut those open and add those

to the play-doh container

and that is how you make the easy

version of these soda lip glosses

and if you want to make an orange soda or a

Fanta soda one what I used was some

Vaseline and then just some of this

Orange Crush mix

once the lipgloss is mixed up to make the soda and ice for

this one I just use the same steps as

before but I used orange paint

i hope you guys enjoyed all of these DIY soda

lip glosses leave me a comment let me know

[HOT NEWS] THE BEST CITY CAR 2017 Kia Cadenza REVIEW - Duration: 10:29.

garbanzo coast hansa credenza

I can't tell if the guy at the bakery is

trying to be funny or if he's genuinely

forgetting the name of the car

I've told him twice it's the 2017 kia

cadenza but you know maybe the

miscommunication is just fine

like the goods itself it's fine

you shouldn't read that negatively every

now invented this job you drive a car

and simply come away thinking it was

fine and if you're building a car in

this particular segment that's

practically the response you hope to

elicit a comfortable jack-of-all-trades

at a price that isn't going to bankrupt

the owner considered the condensers

competition

toyota avalon nissan maxima chevrolet

impala buick lacrosse these aren't

groundbreaking luxury vehicles masters

of utility or fuel economy or

nürburgring smashing sports sedans

there

you almost feel bad saying from a very

reasonable angle it's a great segment

populated with cars offering the lot of

the same equipment and a little more

bang for the buck than a footlong luxury

sedan and tending to be room here too

and yet it's that dilution of dedicated

purpose that keeps these models stagnant

and showrooms compared to the more

luxurious and certainly to the more

economical it's hard to raise an eyebrow

here so it goes with the cadenza despite

looking a heck of a lot like the

previous car the new cadenza has been

reworked significantly the use of

high-strength steel has doubled to over

fifty percent the use of hot stamped

steel has triple the doors are sixteen

percent more dent-resistant the chassis

has 35% greater torsional rigidity

there's a new subframe similar to that

of the optima the front windows are now

laminated and there's thirteen percent

more sound insulation in the a-pillars

there's a full underbody cover and will

air curtains it has a new eight-speed

transmission developed in-house there

are 40 fewer pounds of unsprung weight

thanks to aluminum parts the brakes are

bigger and there's a bevy of upscale

tech features but we lost you halfway

through that paragraph

the styling is a little sharper than the

outgoing models it's not going to blow

your pants off but it's hardly a bag

looking car the updated design features

he is now trademark quad led set up

within the lower front grilles and the

main grille is a concave affair

base models get a diamond butterflying

search you know from other kia models

and higher-end cadenzas gettin taleo

vertical slats keep walking around the

car and you'll find the sides have been

flattened out a bit and the taillights

have received a welcome tightening the

mash of little tweaks and updates mean

that the 2017 Fidentia is at once easily

confused with the old carring

unmistakeably the new one

it's hard to explain and sort of the

nature of the segment to be a bit

anonymous if you're not you're the new

nissan maximum points for trying but

will take anonymous things are fine

inside to do is with to celebrate the

area and open cockpit of the cadenza and

we can't help but agree it's a pleasant

place to be very similar to the oven

modernity maybe minus the plastics

quality no coincidence there of course

the wide flat dash in the way the front

door handle scoop forward into the door

are no brainer views from chief designer

peter tries previous place of employment

we could do without the plastic analog

cloth the central timepiece is something

you do if you're going to use glass or

sapphire crystal abandon otherwise you

know the diamond stitching on the napa

leather seats of our loaded test car

nothing wrong with it per se just

something that's probably better left

then

that's it the 14 with front seats are

very adjustable although we did find the

thigh support getting extend quite far

enough and the rear cabin offers gobs of

space no matter your size you'll hear

zero complaints about taking this key on

a road trip in any seat

want to guess how the cadenza drives

fine

it drives fine the electric power

steering has been redesigned to offer

almost hydraulic like the feedback

thanks to an upgraded 32-bit processor

the extra bits are meant to offer better

on centerfield but you can wiggle the

wheel right-to-left pretty significantly

at speed before getting a reaction from

the big sedan that said it's not all bad

particularly compared to the overly

artificial field of too many electric

power steering systems on the market

here there's not the need to correct

constantly it's a song with seven out of

ten as electric racks go especially

given the vehicle class hydraulic like

though it's not even in the same zip

code the cadenza can be equipped with

the requisite flock of advanced driver

assist systems but none of them are

going to mess with the steering wheel

there's the blind spot detection system

which has the ability to intervene by

breaking the opposite side front wheel

if you're Nora Jones playlist headlong

you to sleep on the highway adaptive

cruise control with stop-and-go

functionality of your knees are going

forward collision warning if your brain

is an autonomous emergency braking if

both are already gone

then there's an almost unbelievably

sensitive lane departure warning system

which will be that you in the first

thought of deviating from your course

begins to form in your subconscious but

then bizarrely not correct your course

there's an around view camera for

parking maneuvers and a head-up display

to the cadenza retains its three dot

3-liter direct-injected v6 which now

offers 290 horsepower and 253 pounds to

put of torque

you may notice that those figures are

actually slightly down compared to the

2016 cars 293 255 it's sort of academic

though as the new eight-speed

transmission makes up for the reduction

with two additional ratios in a shorter

final drive said transmission was

developed in house and we have no

complaints like all modern transmissions

its programs to make its way off the

tree top gear as quickly as possible in

an effort to maximize fuel economy here

though the desire to charm you at the

gas pump doesn't get in the way of

drivability the cadenza downshifts

predictably as you press your foot

farther and farther into the pedal

stroke avoiding the sudden triple or

even quadruple downshifts that quake

some modern nine-speed transmission the

combo feels well matched to the chassis

offering plenty of torque and easily

rushing to get into triple digit speeds

when you call for it and you're almost

never left wishing for a lower gear if

there's a penalty for the big engines

application it's at the pump and it

pretty much applies to the whole class

the curtains and manages 20 miles per

gallon in the EPA city test and 28 on

the highway

he says the new car will start about a

grand cheaper than its predecessor at

just under 32 thousand dollars and climb

all the way to just under forty four

thousand dollars which is a full

thirty-seven percent bump to the base

models price the striking factor here is

that the core ingredients remain the

same in all trim levels the cadenzas

front-wheel drive and powered by the

three-dot 3-liter v6 credit a lot of

that difference to the dynamic driving

systems offered on the higher-end

technology and s-xl trims so while it's

easy to understand and even like the

wood and how the tricky part might be

why why build the cadenza the segment

isn't exactly booming and even in the

relative sense the cadenza which

has been in production since 2013 cells

and extremely small numbers compared to

competitors like avalon maxima and La

Crosse still though if you think those

cars are fine

you owe it to yourself to check out the

cadenza
