The sun just came out, out of nowhere, just to help.
Thank you so much!
Oh, wait!
This video is in portuguese.
Today I'm answering the cinematographic tag.
This tag was created by Dora from the Books & Movies channel, a portuguese one.
And basically it is 10 questions about movies.
The first questions is "Which is your most viewed movie?"
Even though I haven't watched this movie lately, when I was younger I watched
it so many time and so I still think it is my most viewed movie.
It is "The Little Mermaid".
It's my childhood movie, it's marvellous, I love little mermaid, even though I think
that the message isn't that good.
A person losing her voice in order to conquer a guy that she's only seen one is not
a good image for children.
But still, I loved the book, I love the book and it's very good.
The movie!
The book as well by the way, I've read it and I enjoyed it.
The second question is "3 movies that you always recommend?".
The first movie I always recommend is "Dead Poets Society", "O Clube dos Poetas Mortos".
It's very good.
I like it a lot, I've mentioned that in a previous video.
I love that movie and I always recommend it.
I also always recommend "Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret" that's a movie or
a documentary about the environment, about the impact of humans in the environment and specifically
about the impact of cattle breeding in the environment.
And I think it's a very well accomplished documentary and that it really affects people that watch it.
Another movie that I always recommend is "Deadpool" because I think it's a marvellous movie,
it's very funny, I've laughed a lot with it.
It's not a typical superhero movie where we've got
the superhero that's going to save his girlfriend but in which the girlfriend is gorgeous and all that usual thing.
The is a little bit different, it's not that different but it is a little bit different from the usual
and it's very funny.
I love the jokes.
It's a sense of humour that's very good for mim, I like that sort of humour, it's not offensive
and it's makes me laugh a lot and I like the movie a lot.
I always recommend it.
There are more movies that I always recommend but I'm not going to mention them here
or else we'd never get out of here.
The third question is "What gets on your nerves?"
and what gets on my nerves in movie above everything else is instalove.
People that fall in love just like that like in "The Little Mermaid".
I don't understand, I don't understand what the directors want to do, what
the writers want to do with this kind of poor representation of reality.
In my case, it doesn't move me.
I don't identify myself in what I'm watching and I don't think it's ever going to change something in my life
because it's not realistic.
So, a thing that's not realistic is not going to affect me.
That's it. I prefer fantasy because instalove is trying to represent reality
in a wrong way,
I don't like it.
The fourth question is "A movie ticket which wasn't worthy?".
And it's not that this movie was bad, don't attack me, but I watched this movie in the Centre
- Cultural Centre of Tábua, something like that, that's a village (it's not exactly a village but
it's a place) in the Centre of Portugal, near Coimbra and Viseu, and it really isn't
well organized.
The movie itself I didn't enjoy that much but I can understand why some people
like it.
For me, it wasn't exciting, it wasn't funny, it wasn't moving,
it's wasn't anything.
And it's "The BFG", "O Amigo Gigante", I think that's the name in portuguese.
I'm sorry but I didn't enjoy it.
I'd love to read the book because I think I'd enjoy it a lot better.
The fifth question is if I've ever had a movie theatre only for me and I've never but I
think there was a time when I've had one only for me and my partner
back then.
I can't remember it very well and that's I can't talk
about that a lot.
The sixth question is "Tell a funny story that involves a movie".
I don't have many funny stories that involve movies, at least that I can
think of.
But I can remember about when I went to watch "Deadpool" in the cinema and I just laughed out loud and
there was a man in front of us that was always laughing out loud as well and people were
commenting and looking at us.
It wasn't a great story but it's the story I've got to tell you but there's another one
which is: when I went on to watch "Pete's Dragon", that I think is
"A Lenda do Dragão" in portuguese, I went with my boyfriend and I was very tired, we'd talked a lot back
then, we went walking from Roma-Areeiro to Baixa-Chiado and then we went to
Bairro Alto and then to Rato and then to El Corte Inglés where
we watched the movie, so you can imagine, if you know Lisbon, how tired I was,
and when I went on to watch the movie what happened was that I didn't even last 10 minutes and I fell asleep
in Diogo's lap and he watched the movie.
Then I woke up by the end and I watch the final part that's more agitated, probably it wokoe me up
due to the noise, but I can't remember the movie because I was asleep, I can only remember
the final part.
I can't even remember the beginning because I was so tired that I couldn't even pay attention to that.
The seventh question is "Favourite movie from your favourite actor/actress?" and I've got
two favourite actors but no favourite actress.
Previously I've enjoyed Angelina Jolie but meanwhile I lost interest , I don't know why,
and for the two favourite actors I've got favourite movies.
The first favourite actor and the "favouritest" of all the favourites is Mel Gibson and the
featured movie that I like better is "O Patriota", in english "The Patriot", I'm not sure if it's pronounced
like that.
I like that movie a lot, it makes me cry, it makes me feel, I love all the macabre scenes,
all the gore.
I like that movie a lot and therefore it's a movie I always like to rewatch and I like
the - the Mil Gibson's role a lot and it was the movie that really made me fall in love with him.
And my second favourite actor is Johnny Depp because Johnny Depp can do anything!
Every role you give him, he can do it, he's extraordinaire changing and that's really
what an actor does, right?
And therefore I like Johnny Depp a lot and my favourite movie with him is
"Chocolat" that you may know I like a lot.
I like the movie a lot and Johnny Depp's role a lot.
It's a very simple role but everything he does is done perfectly and I love it.
The eighth question is "an overrated movie", so a movie that people rate
as better that I think it is.
And the movie I've got for this category and that I've fully watched, I went to watch it with
my boyfriend, he enjoys DC Comics a lot, I'm more on the Marvel side, I admit, but I went to watch it with me
because he wanted to watch it very bad and because he got the tickets for free.
The movie is "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and it's very bad.
It's not that high rated but it still is at the same level as some
movies I love and therefore I and therefore, just because it's at the same level as those movies, I think it's
overrated
The movie is the most basic thing ever, it doesn't have - it doesn't have layers, it's
it's just that linear action and that's it, it's over.
I didn't like the cast, I didn't like the effects, I didn't like how weak the - the superheroes were.
Batman and Superman were so weak, I don't understand.
And therefore I think this movie is really overrated.
Even though it's kind of low rated it's still overrated for me.
In nineth it's "An underrated movie", which means a movie that people don't recognize as
as good as I think it is.
And I chose a movie that I saw in TV and that's called "Barefoot".
It's a movie about a girl that's in an institution for people with psychological
illnesses and a boy that works in that place.
Due to events I'm not going to mention because I always enjoy to go blind
for the movies and I want you to go blind for this as well, they are both going alone
out of there, he takes her and there they go on a trip and she really has her
phychological issues and you're already seeing where this is going, aren't you?
A boy and a girl together on a trip.
Yeah, but I thought the movie was really good.
I had a lot of fun watching the movie and I liked how they represented the psychological issue
and therefore I enjoyed the movie and I think it deserves a little more
stars in Imdb than it has, even though it's not that low.
So, I don't have huge videos for these two categories because the overrated one
is low rated and this is high rated but I still think
this could be higher and the previous one could be lower!
In tenth is asked that I do a bombastic revelation but I don't have bombastic
revelations to do.
I'm going to do a revelation that I've done several times in this channel so far but that you may not have heard before,
that's that I hate Harry Potter movies.
I've tried to watch them several times.
From the beginning that I haven't enjoyed a Harry Potter movie.
I've read the books ever since I was a child, ever since I've started reading that I've started reading the Harry Potter
books, but I've never really enjoyed any movie, even though I've recently
rewatched some of them, because I was in vacations and I didn't have anything else to do, but
anyway I've rewatched some and then it wasn't as bad as before
but I still found more errors, more differences when comparing with the books.
Neville Longbottom's role is totally (I'm exaggerating here) in those movies, which destroyed me,
even though Snape's role is well represented but my favourite character is Neville
Longbottom.
So, from the moment he's not as represented as I'd want, it destroyed me, even though
it's good Snape, which is my second favourite character, is so well represented
but I really didn't enjoy the movies.
I like the effects, I like the direction, but I don't like how they changed what
was in the books.
So, if you want to invite me for a Harry Potter marathon, make it a literary one,
even though I can watch the movies if invited, it's not as interesting.
For example, in Tuga-a-Thon, from Elsa and Filipa, I wanted to watch the movies, to accomplish the challenges
but then the interest was not a lot because the interest is about the movies.
If it was a marathon saying "let's read all the books in 10 days", I'd read all the books
in 10 days happily, but if it's watching the movies, even if it's in a full month,
I'm not going to be as excited.
I hope you've enjoyed my first tag in portuguese, if you did answer it as well!
Dora didn't tag anyone and therefore I won't do it either, feel yourself
tagged if you want to answer it.
As always, have a nice day and be happy.
