In this episode in parentheses we talk about feedback. What do people say about you?

Hello I am César Herrera, Welcome to the channel Collaborators of God,

The channel to expand your mind and prosper your soul.

This is episode number two in parentheses

And today I want to tell you about feedback.

If you do not know what this is, feedback is an English word that means comeback;

Feedback is a reaction, response or opinion that gives us an interlocutor,

This can be positive or negative, based on a wrong or right perception.

But how about when we hear a person's feedback about him/herself,

When he constantly talks about his goodness. Do you know anyone like that?

Many people to show themselves as kind

They fall into the error of speaking of themselves as if they were expressing admiration for another person.

When this happens, for many of us it is a very annoying situation

And it's like a sound that bounces over and over again

Having to listen to someone talking about themselves is quite uncomfortable for every receptor

And in fact the Bible advises us not to behave in this way.

Proverbs 27:2 in its different translations allows us to see a clear picture

That it is not healthy to give feedback to others about oneself.

The Current Language Translation version reads:

Do not boast of yourself; Let others praise you.

The New International Version also advises us:

Do not boast of yourself; Let others praise you.

The God Speaks Today version reads: Let others praise you; It is not right that you praise yourself.

The Word of God for all version says: Never praise yourself, let others do it.

In Matthew 16: 13-14 the question "Who is Jesus?

Verse 13 says: When they came near the town of Caesarea Philippi, Jesus asked his disciples, "What do people say about me, the Son of Man?

14 The disciples answered, "Some say that you are John the Baptist, and others say that you are the prophet Elijah, or the prophet Jeremiah, or some of the prophets.

Even when he was to be crucified, in Matthew 26: 63-64 we see the answer of Jesus.

63 But Jesus was silent. Then the high priest said to him: I adjure you by the living God, that you tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God.

64 Jesus said to him, "You have said it; And furthermore I say to you, that from now on you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of the power of God, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

When we talk about ourselves we produce feedback

Similar to that produced electronically in a sound system

The feedback is the return of a fraction of the output signal of an amplifier or microphone to the input of the same,

Resulting in distortion of the sound produced.

Let us avoid impressing others by talking about ourselves,

First let's do, without recognizing our actions

And let them be the others who talks about us,

In the end we must live for God and to please Him and not those around us.

Trump faces 3 hard political truths.

The Trump Hotel in Washington is built inside the Old Post Office Building.

Last time I visited the place, it was a tourist gallery, selling T-shirts, trinkets and ice

cream.

Now the tourist gallery has been transformed into a marble-clad, sparkly, luxury hotel.

Instead of ice cream cones, there were carts with champagne on ice and a man behind me

saying, �Now I just have to find summer jobs for my two sons.�

The president dined there last night, according to the Washington Post (whose proprietors

rightly fear that democracy could die in Trumpian darkness).

Naturally, the Post critic opined that the $54 steaks at the oh-so-boring BLT Prime steakhouse

are overcooked and overpriced.

But as my pro-Trump brother would remind me, �What else are they going to say?�

Drinking an overpriced cup of coffee in this sunlit atrium, four blocks from the White

House, is as good a place as any to ask three hard questions about the wobbling state of

Donald Trump�s union.

Is the �administrative state� doomed?

The first question is raised by the morning edition of the Wall Street Journal, where

right-wing stalwart Paul Gigot says, �Bannonism gets the headlines but can�t deliver votes

on Capitol Hill.�

Is that really true?

Bannon, the Iago of the Trump White House, hopes Trump�s faux State of the Union speech

can jumpstart his audacious plan to �deconstruct the administrative state� that has arisen

in Washington over the last century.

Bannon is moving his various White House chess pieces (King Donald, Queen Ivanka and a whole

lot of pawns) to advance this goal.

Trump will provide some details tonight.

Will the Congress go along with what he proposes?

Bannon�s agenda is radical but familiar, not unlike the one President Ronald Reagan

brought to Washington in 1981.

Then as now, the Heritage Foundation provided the policy playbook for those who want to

privatize the government and seize taxpayer rents on behalf of well-connected business

interests.

Some people liken it to a �swamp.�

Now that a Democrat no long occupies 1600 Pennsylvania, the capital�s taboo on �deficit

spending� is defunct, at least for the next four years.

Trump will propose a $54 billion increase in the military budget and draconian cuts

everywhere else.

As a Republican Congress is unlikely to raise taxes, the deficit will grow.

Only �deficit hawks� and Wall Street Democrats, two notably lame groupings, are likely to

object.

The big money prize for the Heritage Foundation and Washington�s moneyed interests is Social

Security, Medicare and Medicaid.

The Trump/Bannon/Ryan regime has not targeted these �entitlements,� not yet.

The White House knows full well that when just re-elected President Bush made a run

at privatizing Social Security in 2005, he was quickly shot down, even though the Republicans

controlled Capitol Hill.

And Bush, amazing to say, was a lot more popular than Trump.

Of course, the Trump/Bannon junta could prevail.

The Democratic Party was stronger under Bush II and Reagan than it is today.

In the 1980s, a liberal bloc led by House Speaker Tip O�Neill controlled the House

of Representatives.

Reagan, a right-wing ideologue, had to negotiate with him if he wanted to get anything done.

And so he did.

Now that the Democrats are marginalized and demoralized, Trump need only issue orders

to Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to get what he wants.

But does that mean the odd philosophy of Bannonism can actually summon a congressional majority

to deconstruct the modern administrative state?

As the Washington Post�s E.J. Dionne recently wrote:

This is a war on a century�s worth of work to keep our air and water clean; our food,

drugs and workplaces safe; the rights of employees protected; and the marketplace fair and unrigged.

It�s one thing to make regulations more efficient and no more intrusive than necessary.

It�s another to say that all the structures of democratic government designed to protect

our citizens from the abuses of concentrated private power should be swept away.

The novelty of Trump�s Washington can be overestimated.

President Reagan also came to office seeking to vanquish a decadent liberal bureaucracy

on behalf of freedom-loving Americans.

He stayed for a massive expansion of deficit spending and no great diminution of the size

of government as measured by percentage of gross national product.

Washington has a way of foiling revolutionaries.

Ann Gorsuch, the mother of would-be Supreme Court justice Neil Gorsuch, was the Scott

Pruitt of her day, an EPA administrator who was going to dismantle the agency on behalf

of free enterprise.

Gorsuch did a lot of damage, but in the long run she failed.

The EPA went on to implement bipartisan policies under presidents Bush, Clinton, Bush II, and

Obama.

These policies offended some business interests, and some believe they overregulated at times.

But there is no doubt that EPA protected the country�s air, water, land, natural resources

and wildlife, and it did so in ways that even conservative Republicans learned to accept.

Can Bannon, Trump, Ryan and McConnell roll back the 20th-century administrative state?

The answer is maybe�if they don�t get a powerful pushback from civil society.

The Watergate question

A second question wafting in the air of the lobby of the Trump Hotel on the eve of Trump�s

SOTU comes from Joe Conason: Is this Watergate yet?

The question likens Trump�s growing legal and political problems to the early �70s

scandal that forced Richard Nixon from office.

It is a shorthand way of asking a more complicated question: Do the law enforcement and intelligence

agencies of the U.S. government have sufficient evidence for criminal prosecution of Trump

administration figures for their dealings with Russia?

The True Reason Behind The 40-Hour Work Week & Why

We Are Economic Slaves.

Economic slavery, or wage slavery, refers to one�s total and immediate dependence

on wages to survive.

Although people throughout history have had to work to get by, we now live in a culture

where we are led to believe we have economic freedom, when unbeknownst to most citizens,

we are in fact bound in servitude.

We automatically accept a 40-hour workweek with meager hourly pay as normal, even though

many work overtime and still struggle to survive.

There are also those who make enough to live comfortably but are unable to request less

hours � you either work 40 hours a week, or you don�t get to work at all.

We submit when told what to wear, when we have to arrive and depart, when we�re allowed

to eat, and even when we�re allowed to use the restroom. How is it we have come to allow

this?

The 40-hour-work week came about during the Industrial Revolution in Britain when at one

point workers were putting in 10 to 16 hour days and began to protest.

Working situations for Americans began to worsen as well, and by 1836, labor movement

publications were also calling for a 40-hour workweek.

Citizens in both situations were so overworked, an eight-hour day was easily accepted. This

system is unnecessary now, if it ever was, but we still accept it due to the effects

of our capitalist society.

There are many contributing factors that have led to our current economic system and continued

acceptance of the 40-hour workweek, three major factors being consumerism, inflation,

and debt. First, it�s important to understand exactly what inflation is, how it works, and

how it leads to debt.

Inflation:

To put inflation simply, let�s say the U.S. government needs money for whatever war they�ve

decided to wage this year. They ask the Federal Reserve for a loan, and the Fed agrees to

buy bonds (sort of like IOU�s) from the government in the amount of the requested

loan.

The U.S. government then prints up a bunch of pieces of paper that say �Treasury Bond�

while at the same time, the Federal Reserve prints up a bunch of little pieces of paper

that we know as money.

A trade is made between the government and the Federal Reserve � the bonds for the

money � and the U.S. government directly deposits this newly printed money in a different

bank, which in turn, takes its cut in fees and interest.

Voil�, money has been created out of thin air.

Although this process takes place electronically now (only 3% of money is in physical form,

the other 97% exists in computers) the problem either way is that it depletes the worth of

the dollar. At one point in time, currency was worth gold.

That was what gave money its value, but now the value of money is trusted to the Federal

Reserve who has no moral objections to reducing that value by printing more money (basically

legal counterfeit).

For the cost of printing, the Federal Reserve creates money that the U.S. government has

promised to pay back � money that didn�t even exist in the first place.

It works like this with private bank loans to citizens as well. Each time a transaction

of this sort happens, it reduces the value of actual currency, and thus we have inflation.

One dollar in 1913 required $21.60 in 2007 to match its value. That�s a 96% devaluation

since the Federal Reserve came into existence. How does this lead to economic slavery? By

the debt inflation has caused.

Debt:

Since money is created through loans, that means it�s created through debt. Money equals

debt, and debt equals money.

So the more money there is, the more debt there is, and vice versa. What this means

is, if somehow the government and every citizen in debt were able to pay back those loans,

there would not be a single dollar in circulation.

Interest plays an important role in this equation as well. When you take out a loan and the

bank gives you money that technically doesn�t exist, they also expect you to pay additional

interest with it.

If the money loaned is coming from the Federal Reserve, where is the money for the interest

supposed to come from?

The answer is nowhere.

That means no matter what, the nation will never be able to get out of debt, and that

is exactly the purpose of this meticulously orchestrated system.

Like a toss of the coin, somebody somewhere will always go bankrupt to make up for the

interest that is being paid with even more debt.

And so, as the nation sinks further in the hole while the cost of living increases, surviving

in the economy becomes more difficult.

This desperation to survive, coupled with the fact that we were born into this system,

is ultimately what causes us to accept the 40-hour workweek without a moment�s thought.

So now we understand the element that forces us to accept our predicament, but how does

the 40-hour workweek benefit banks and corporations?

After all, studies show that the average office worker gets less than three hours worth of

work done in an 8-hour work shift, and according to reports, US corporate profits are soaring

while wages are declining.

Bureau of Labor Statistics figures show that productivity has increased at a 2.3 percent

annual rate in the third quarter, while hourly pay only increased 1.3 percent in the third

quarter, and this has been the basic pattern for some time � it adds up after a while.

Corporate profits are at their highest level in at least 85 years, so why aren�t we being

paid more, working less, and providing additional jobs to those who need them? This brings us

to consumerism.

Consumerism:

Consumerism is defined by the Merriam-Webster dictionary as: the belief that it is good

for people to spend a lot of money on goods and services.

At one point in time this belief may have rang true, but with the current capitalist

system and cost of living, consumerism has begun to have negative effects on our society,

especially when you take inflation and the increasing debt into consideration.

The more we buy, the more we feed the corporations and banks who are in turn pushing us into

economic slavery.

Since the 1800�s and the Industrial Revolution, �consumers� have been spending increasing

amounts of money on frivolous purchases.

This over-indulgence has been nurtured and fed by the corporations using commercialism

(the attitude or actions of people who are influenced too strongly by the desire to earn

money or buy goods rather than by other values � Merriam-Webster) as a tool.

Psychological insinuations have been planted into society�s subconscious for generations

through consumer advertisements which have ultimately led to certain habits and beliefs.

Some examples are:

�Buy now pay later� � The General Motors Acceptance Corporation (GMAC) started this

mindset when it was established in 1919 and began to promote giving loans to people who

bought cars. Americans eventually started to use the new credit plans on just about

everything.

�Keeping up with the Joneses� � Commonly thought to be the beginning of the American

consumer culture, this mindset began when GM introduced the yearly automobile model

change. People wanted to have the latest model each year, and soon this idea spread out.

Most of us, whether we want to admit it or not, are familiar with this mentality. Rather

than keeping our old toaster that works perfectly fine, we want the new retro-style stainless

steel model because it looks swanky sitting on our kitchen counter.

�1929-1945 Depression and War� � Soon after The Depression came WWII, during which

advertisers promised products to be available when there was peace. As a result, customers

(consumers) were eager to take up spending immediately after the war was over.

�Peace� � When the war ended, consumer optimism and economic growth accompanied victory.

�Charge it!� � Credit cards were first promoted through the Diners Club � a charge

card company that services affluent and well-travelled individuals from around the world.

Other companies followed suit and started advertising credit cards as a �time-saving

device� rather than a way to spend money that wasn�t actually there.

�Bigger is better� � During the 1970�s, companies began to send credit cards out by

the masses to those who had not requested them. While Americans had already been developing

the idea that �bigger is better�, the credit card boom ended up exploiting that

idea.

Now people had the means to obtain extravagant items they couldn�t before, even though

it put many in colossal debt. Congress soon had to regulate the credit card boom, and

ban sending cards to those who never requested them in the first place.

Companies in all kinds of industries hold a huge stake in the public�s penchant to

be careless with their money, and they encourage this habit of casual or non-essential spending

when they can.

For example, in the documentary The Corporation, a marketing psychologist discussed a method

she used to increase sales that involved encouraging children to nag their parents to buy toys.

Studies showed that 20% to 40% of purchases of this sort resulted after children nagged

their parents. �You can manipulate consumers into wanting,

and therefore buying, your products. It�s a game.� - Lucy Hughes, co-creator of �The

Nag Factor�. The 40-hour workweek is the ultimate tool

for corporations to sustain this culture of over-indulgent spending. Under our current

working conditions, people are forced to build a life in the evenings and their days-off.

We find ourselves more inclined to spend heavily on entertainment and conveniences because

we rarely have any free time.

When we do have time to ourselves, it�s usually fleeting, and we eventually find ourselves

neglecting those activities which are free � walking, exercising, reading, meditating,

sports, hobbies, etc. � because they take too much time.

While having extra money comes at the sacrifice of personal time for some, for others they

not only are robbed of their personal freedom, but they struggle to make ends meet on top

of it.

The �perfect� consumer works full-time, earns a fair amount of money, indulges during

their free time, and somehow just makes it by each month.

However, even those who don�t earn fair wages sometimes find themselves wasting small

increments of money on unnecessary items for the wrong reasons � a cup of Starbucks here,

a McDonald�s cheeseburger there, and those really cool fuzzy dice hanging from the rear-view

of your 1993 Honda Civic.

Any way you look at it, we have become an unhappy, mindless, over-worked society. We

buy silly items for a few moments of happiness before getting bored and moving on. We feel

a need to keep up with fads, or to fulfill our childhood vision of what adulthood would

be like.

We hide our insecurities, avoid issues, and replace psychological needs with material

items. By keeping society�s free time scarce, people will pay more for convenience, gratification,

and any other relief they can buy.

Keeping America unhealthy has become extremely profitable for big-business, and so far their

efforts have paid-off beautifully.

Our society has been transformed into an industry fueled by economic slavery, and consumerism

is a key factor in this corrupt system � one the people have direct influence over. Consumers

are the only ones who can stop consuming.

On Wednesday morning, Golden State announced the forward is out at least four weeks with

an MCL sprain and a bone bruise.

But how worried should Warriors fans be about their team's chances of winning another championship?

Our own Russ Bengtson says Golden State will be fine without the services of KD—as long

as he's back by the second round of the playoffs.

Bengtson writes the Warriors could very well keep Durant out until the start of the playoffs

and that probably won't be a big deal.

It won't be easy to lose him, since KD is averaging career highs and leading the Warriors

in shooting, rebounding and blocks.

But the Warriors still have Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.

Golden State should be able weather the loss of KD in the regular season and maintain its

No. 1 seed status in the West.

And if that's the case, Golden State would likely be a prohibitive favorite in the first

round of the playoffs against the Nuggets, Kings, or Blazers, depending on who makes

it as the eighth seed.

Steph, Klay, and Draymond can handle those squads easily.

But if the Warriors started slipping in the regular season and fell to the two seed out

West, then not having Durant for the first round would be a problem considering they

could face the Clippers, Grizzlies, or even the Russell Westbrook led Thunder.

Bengtson concludes that adding Durant after a 73-win season set expectations for the Warriors

so high that they were all but assured to fail to meet them.

They're 50-10 after Tuesday, and even if they win out, they can't match last year's

win total.

With Durant out, it seems highly unlikely that they'll repeat as 70-game winners.

Which is fine.

Considering the way things ended last season, it's equally unlikely that they're concerned

with that: A championship is all that matters.

And as long as Durant returns by the second round of the playoffs, it's still within

reach.

It's 9 30 am

but first things first

round 2

the first stop for today is the Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral

which is the largest cathedral

in all of the Americas

Mexico city was actually built after the Spanish conquest

on top of what was then the Aztec capital city

this cathedral was actually built right next to

what was a very sacred place for the Aztecs

called the Templo Mayor

we are at the Templo Mayor

and it's closed today

here are some of the ruins that were excavated

initially it was believed that

the whole city was destroyed (during Spanish conquest)

in later years it was found that a lot of the buildings were built

on top of the Aztec city

so more and more Aztec ruins are being uncovered

the current palace that we see was actually

built on top of what was left of

the palace where Moctezuma II, the famous Aztec emperor, used to rule from

this place right here is called El Zocalo

my drone just went crazy

We are here at the Basilica of our Lady of Guadalupe

built for the Virgin of Guadalupe

who was said to be of Meso-American origin

she ended up as serving as a badge for the revolutionary fighters (Mexico's Independence Revolution)

La Villa de Guadalupe is actually

one of the most visited pilgrimage sites in the world

it gets around 20 million visitors annually

more visitors than the Vatican itself

I just got a cake at this place

because I had to buy something to use the wifi here

Plaza de Las Tres Culturas was created

to recognize the different cultures of the three different

periods of Mexican history

the first one being pre-Columbian

the second one being the Spanish era when

Mexico was a Spanish colony

and the third one the ongoing era

of an independent Mestizo nation

this is supposed to be a famous restaurant

so tacos here are only 6 pesos

that's 25 cents

it's my last day in Mexico already

we hung out last night but she didn't know my name

till like 1 in the morning

this is my 2nd attempt

now that I don't have cramped muscles in my leg any more

hopefully I can actually go to the top of the pyramid of the sun

we have been walking for 30 minutes now

trying to get to the pyramid of the sun

and the reason it takes so long is

that Teotihuacan was actually a

big city

one of the more prosperous cities in pre-Columbian America

the city and the pyramids were built around 2000 years ago

they prospered well into the 7th century

something happened and no one knows what but the city was burned down

then the Aztecs discovered it

they called it Teotihuacan

the literal translation in English would mean something like

the city of gods

I am actually starting to climb the pyramids

finally made it to the top of the pyramid

took may be 20 minutes to get up here

and that's including 10 minutes of taking pictures and shooting videos

a lot of people up here

back there, if you can see it

is the pyramid of the moon

there's a museum right next to the pyramids

right now behind me that's

quetzalcoatl, the aztec god

this guy over here is the reason that they

sacrificed people, ripped their hearts out from the top of the pyramids

just got into Chapultapec park

supposedly one of the largest parks in the Western hemisphere

this is Chapultapec castle

it's the only royal castle in the history of North America

this is the view from the front porch of the castle

and it's probably fair to say

that this is the best view of Mexico City

that I have seen so far

just got into the museum of anthropology

and this is the first thing I see

this is exactly like WWE

it's just a bunch of Rey Mysterios in there instead of one

hey guys

so I just got back from Mexico City and

that trip was a blast

it's not even fair to try to see the best of Mexico City

in the time span of 3 and a half days

I think on the last day, I walked something around 25 km

there's probably not a lot more that I could have done
