We're mighty impressed by the latest Mercedes-Benz E-Class, so the new AMG E 63 S was always
going to be a mighty super-sedan.
How mighty?
Well for starters it slaughters the 0-100km/h sprint in a claimed 3.4 seconds, which is
almost a second quicker than BMW's outgoing M5, half a second quicker than the Audi RS6
and two-tenths quicker than AMG's own flagship sports car, the GT R.
Yes, shoe-horning a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 with 450kW of power and no less than 850Nm
of torque from just 2500rpm into a full-size luxury sedan is a classic case of iron fist
in velvet glove.
Aided by a nine-speed auto and all-wheel drive, even the standard E63 sedan and E63 S Estate,
which comes with a 640-litre cargo area, are good for 100km/h in 3.5 seconds, making them
as quick as a Porsche 911 GT3.
But the new E63 isn't just supercar-fast -- it seats five adults in comfort, packs more technology
than any other large sedan and consumes less than 10 litres of fuel per 100km.
BMW's upcoming M5 will have a lot to live up to when the new E63 arrives in Australian
showrooms around mid-2017.

Steel Core is not based on a particular character, it's a Fansproject creation.
As you can see it's a Cybertronian vehicle mode.
He has six wheels. They are made of plastic, not from rubber material.
Uuuhm, ok, he is ok, he is not anything special.
He has rear exhaust-pipes. He also has some extra exhaust-pipes to the front.
This is the back view of the vehicle. Reprolabels stickers have been placed on Steel Core.
These are the sheets. As you can see all of them have been placed except of some spares.
So let's see them on the figure. One, two, three, four, five, six, all these six here are stickers.
The Autobot symbols here are stickers. These two here are stickers.
These two here are stickers. On the sides of the cockpit, these are stickers.

The legs are connected to three places, here, here and here. Fold them out.
Rotate them to this direction. Close these panels, like this.
Rotate the feet. Bring out the heels.
This piece will connect in here. It's very tight, you need to put some force.
The cockpit will tab in here. And his legs are ready.
Now the arms. Open them from here.

So let's transform Steel Core back into his vehicle mode, Stefanos?
- First, remove Core and bring him back into his robot mode.
Bring out his head as well and then leave him aside.
Open these panels like this.
Fold the arms inwards from this joint and connect them into this slot here.
Do the same thing to the other side as well.
Rotate the arms to this direction. Bring the fists up.
And bring the arms up, like this. And one arm will hold the handle of the gun.
Push everything gently to ensure everything is connected properly.
Bring these pieces down. The top section is ready.
Open this bit from here. Pull this piece downwards. Close the heels.
Rotate the feet to this direction. Open these pieces from here.
Rotate the leg like this. Bend the leg like this.
This peg will tab in here.
This peg will tab in here.
And this peg will tab in here.
This is the hardest part of the transformation. And annoying as well.
Push gently the front section of the car. Open the cockpit. To place Core inside...
...bring the arms to the front and give him a sitting pose. Place him inside the vehicle and now close the cockpit.
Unfortunately, this piece here will stay outside. And Steel Core is back into his vehicle mode!
- Final thoughts...Steel Core is a very nice figure.
Well, ok, his vehicle mode didn't impress me much but his robot mode is very beautiful!
He has excellent articulation, the stickers give him many extra details.

- Very good figure. Yes, indeed, his vehicle mode is a little bit weird.
Fansproject has released a trailer for this vehicle which makes it much more beautiful but it doesn't worth its money.
Generally, this figure is expensive, I was a little bit lucky and I got it for a decent price.
But generally, as a figure it's expensive, also the brand that makes these figures is expensive.
- How much does this new figure cost? - According to a small research that I made, it's about 140 euros!
- How much did you pay for it? - I bought it for 80 euros.
- I see. - And the Reprolabels stickers cost about 10 euros, so about 90 euros for everything.

The second half is relatively well written with twists and turns.
Cast: Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Srushti Dange, Thambi Ramaiah, Appu Kutty
Direction: Adhiroopan
Mumbai: Ace Bala's assistant Adhiroopan turned independent and wields the megaphone for �Mupparimanam�,
the script of which slightly deviates from the run-of- the -mill kind.
But you'd have to witness for yourself the extent to which the director conveys his vision.
It begins at a marriage hall where a stranger Kadhir (Shanthanu Bhagyaraj) kidnaps the bride
Anusha (Srushti Dange) at gunpoint after thrashing her relatives.
Even as Anusha�s dad and uncle chase him, a flashback opens which reveals how Kadhir
and Anusha were childhood friends in their native Pollachi and later became a pair when
the former�s family returns to their native.
Unfortunately, both the families don�t get along, as Kadhir�s dad who is a police officer
was responsible for Anu�s brother landing in jail for a murder he had committed.
Now, young Kadhir who was to leave for the US to pursue higher studies gives up his dreams
to be with Anusha.
But she goes to the city to join medical college.
Though they are in touch with each other initially, a twist in the tale takes place, which eventually
separates the lovers.
When Kadhir comes to know of the real culprit behind his predicament, he kidnaps Anusha
and what he does henceforth forms the rest of the second half.
Shanthanu has put up a good show and his hard work in a dual dimensional role is evident.
He scores to a large extent in the emotional scenes towards the climax.
Srushti�s character starts off as a clich�d Tamil film heroine type.
But thankfully, it offers some scope post interval and the actress manages to pull it
off!
Skanda as the film star and others like Thambi Ramaiah, Appu Kutty and Swaminathan appear
functional.
Though the film starts in a thrilling manner, it fizzles out and drags once the romantic
portions open up.
The second half is relatively well written with twists and turns.
The love track between the lead pair lacks depth and hence Shanthanu taking to drugs
is not really convincing.
A bit of intelligent writing would have helped.
GV Prakash�s songs are pleasant, and the Happy New Year song with several celebs shaking
their legs is visually good.
But the same cannot be said for the background score.
One wonders if it was GVPs.
Rasamathi�s camera work is well adept to the proceedings.
