Prayer of Petition - Part 4 - Duration: 28:35.

JERRY: Thank you once again for joining our broadcast. What a
joy it is to share the Word with you today. We're continuing our
study on the prayer petition. And audience, thank you for
being here. You have certainly helped me bring
this out, praise God. I trust all of you that
have been watching, that you have learned
some powerful truths about how to develop and build an accurate
prayer life. Once again, we're talking about the prayer
petition. I want to make this promise to you on the session
today and that is this, when you learn how to construct, prepare
and pray the prayer petition, your prayer life is never going
to be the same. I'm going to make that promise again. When
you learn how to construct, prepare and pray the prayer
petition, then your prayer life is never going to be the same
again. I know because that's what happened to me over 45
years ago. My prayer life changed immediately and praise
God, it has been a very positive thing, a very exciting thing
since that very moment. Let's lay the foundation once again
for the prayer petition. That is this, the prayer of petition is
always supported by the known will of God. I'd like to add
this statement to that. Since it's being supported by the
known will of God, then it's also being supported by evidence
and facts based upon the Word of God. Amen. It's based on
evidence and facts according to the Word of God. In Ephesians
chapter six, we learned on our last broadcast that there are
various kinds of prayer. Paul talk about, in verse 17 and 18,
that we are to pray always with all prayer. Another translation
says "All manner of prayer". I believe it's the New
International Version that says "With all kinds of prayer." That
tells us that there are different kinds of prayer. We're
talking about in particular the prayer petition, but I did
promise you a couple of sessions back that we would go over
briefly the different kinds of prayer just so that you will
know what they are from the Word of God. Once again, the
different kinds of prayer. Number one, the prayer of
thanksgiving and praise. I'm going to talk about each one of
them in a few moments but I want to give you the list first of
all. Number one is the prayer of thanksgiving of praise. Number
two, the prayer of dedication and worship. Then number three,
the prayer that changes things which includes the prayer of
petition. Number one, the prayer of thanksgiving and praise.
Number two, the prayer of dedication and worship and
number three, the prayer that changes things which includes
the prayer of petition. Before we get into the description of
each one of them, let's mention this that you should know. There
are from the Word of God, three major spiritual weapons that we
should use in prayer. Number one, the name of Jesus. The name
of Jesus carries power in heaven, in earth and under the
earth. Never forget that everything is subject to his
name. Number two, the Word of God. Paul mentioned that in
Ephesians six and praying, take the sword of the spirit and
praying. The sword of the spirit, which is the Word of
God, we need to know what the Word says and make it a vital
part of our prayer life. The first weapon that we use in
prayer is the name of Jesus. All demonic activity, all of Satan
and his cohorts are subject to the name of Jesus. Number two,
the Word of God. When you know what the Word says and you
include it in your prayer, then you have complete confidence in
God hearing you and complete confidence in him fulfilling
your request. Isaiah chapter 55 and verse 11 says that "His Word
does not return unto him void." Then number three, the holy
spirit. I like to say that the Holy Spirit is God's muscle.
He's the one who makes things happen. He's the one that backs
the Word with his power. He's the one the one that brings or
causes God's Word to come to pass. Once again, the three
major spiritual weapons, remember what the Bible says in
Second Corinthians, I believe it's chapter 10 verse 5, "The
weapons of are warfare are not carnal but mighty". What are
those weapons? Number one, the name of Jesus. Number two, the
Word of God and number three, the Holy Spirit. Learn to apply
these weapons in your prayer life. Let's talk about the
prayer of thanksgiving and praise. That's where you thank
God. It's not asking God for anything. Get out of your
thinking that prayer always means asking God for something.
Prayer is communication. It's conversation with God which
means he should be able to talk too. Amen? When you're carrying
on a conversation with someone, don't they get the right to talk
back. Don't they get the right to say something. A lot of
people go to prayer, they think it's prayer and all it is
them doing all the talking. That doesn't make good sense. You're
praying or talking to someone who knows all and the person who
is talking knows very little, why wouldn't you let the person
who knows all do some talking? Amen. Does that make sense to
you? Amen. The prayer of thanksgiving and praise you're
not asking for anything. There are times when you just need to
go to God and say, "Father, I just wanted to visit with you
today, not ask you for anything. I may have some needs, we'll
deal with that later, but right now this is just a time of
praise and thanksgiving. I just want to thank you for who you
are. I just want to thank you for what you've done in my life.
Lord I want to thank you for what I believe you're about to
do, praise God." Amen. God loves praise and thanksgiving. All
human beings love praise and thanksgiving. People like to
know that they're appreciated. Amen. People like to know that
people have an attitude of gratitude for what they've done
to them and for them. Everybody likes that. I'm a giver. I love
to give. I live to give, but at the same time I'd appreciate a
thank you. That's a least a person could do. You know when
you bless them, when you help meet a need in their life the
least they could do is say thank you. They don't have to tell me
thank you for the rest of my life or their life but I'd
certainly appreciate it when the act is done. "Thank you", and
not just "Hmm, is that the best you can do?" I've had people do
that. People got mad, actually got mad at me. I'll never forget
the day as long as day I live. A woman and her daughter, and the
woman she was probably in her 60s at the time, her daughter
was in her 40s, and they had a desperate need in their life and
they ask if I could help. What they didn't realize that very
same day I had five people ask me for help. I had just enough
money to help all five but I couldn't meet the full need of
all five. I had enough where I could make a dent in that need
so I chose to distribute it to five different people and help
meet a need in five different families. The mother and her
daughter got so mad at me when they found out I gave some of
the money to somebody else, why didn't they meet, with what I
gave it could have met their full need. They didn't want me
dividing it up and help somebody else. I didn't tell them what I
had, they found out on their own. Come to me so mad, "You had
enough money to meet our need and instead you chose to help
other people. You don't practice what you preach." I thought, how
ungrateful, how selfish too, that rather than me help five
families, just do it all for this one family. I thought that
was very selfish on their part. The prayer of thanksgiving and
praise, it's where you're thanking God for who he is.
You're thanking God for what he's done. You're thanking God
for what you believe he's about to do. I personally believe the
prayer of thanksgiving and praise is one of the greatest
expressions of faith. Amen. God appreciates an attitude of
gratitude. The prayer of dedication, we mentioned earlier
is where you're dedicating or committing yourself to whatever
God desires for you to do in your life. It's the only prayer
once again where it is appropriate to pray if it be thy
will. What you're saying to God is this, "I'm willing to do
whatever you want me to do. I'm willing to go wherever you want
me to go, I'm just not sure what that plan is but whatever it is,
I'm willing to do it. I'm willing to carry it out." That's
the prayer of dedication. It's the kind of prayer that Jesus
prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane. Luke chapter 22 and
verse 42, "Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from
me. Nevertheless, not my will but thy will
be done. In other words, Lord, if we've got
some options here, let me know what they are. However,
not my will, but your will be done. That's the prayer of
dedication and worship. Once again, the Prayer of Petition,
which comes under the category of prayers that changes things,
and notice I said prayer that changes things. I didn't say
prayer that changes God, amen. You're not going to change God,
amen. It's the prayer that changes things, not changes God.
The prayer that changes things, one of those types of prayer is
the Prayer of Petition, but once again, the cardinal rule for the
Prayer of Petition, it can only be prayed with the known will of
God up front. You already know what the will of God is, so
you're not going to pray in this prayer if it be thy will. That
once again requires research, research in the Word. Find out
what his Word says and then construct the prayer. Now let me
give you some definitions here where petition is concerned. The
Noah Webster 1828 Edition Dictionary gives these
definitions: number one, it is a request. It is a formal
supplication. It is a prayer addressed to a person or to a
supreme being for something needed or desired. Number two,
it is a formal request, verbal or written. Number three, it is
a paper containing a solicitation. Number four, it is
making a request to a superior for some favor or privilege.
Hallelujah, I like that, amen. Now once again notice it said a
formal request, either verbal or written. Personally, I like
writing it out. Why? Because I have found that by researching
the scriptures and then taking the time to write them,
construct this prayer based on those scriptures, it's
tremendously inspiring to my faith particularly when you're
first learning and you're not sure what the Word says.
Remember, the Prayer of Petition always deals with specific
things. It's not a general prayer. Here, when you're first
starting out and you're not real sure, like in those early days I
found out by His stripes I'm healed. It seemed like in those
early days, man, I just got a revelation of that and I started
learning how to walk in divine health and even when attacks
came, they didn't last all day. Before I learned these things, I
might be sick for days or even weeks, but now that I've learned
these things, even though the attacks still came, they didn't
last all day most of the time. I'm learning how to walk in
health, but I was really struggling with finances because
I had shut my business down. I had all these debts in my
business. I had personal debts and I really don't know all
there is to know about God's will for financial blessing. I
didn't know. I heard Brother Copeland give that scripture,
Philippians 4:19, "My God show supply all your need," but I
knew there had to be more. In fact I learned
later there were more scriptures about finances in the Bible
than there were about salvation. Not meaning that
that's more important, but God knows human
nature and seemed like we get ahold of salvation
pretty quick, but finances, that takes a little while. There are
a lot of verses in the Bible regarding finances. I got that
concordance. I heard about the Strong's Concordance. Man, it
was one of the best investments I'd ever made in my life. I went
through that Strong's Concordance looking under
prosperity or money or finances, every scripture I could find,
and I would write them all out and then I'd take what I'd
written out, sometimes pages and pages on a legal pad. Then I
would look at all of them and I'd take the ones that seemed to
be most fitting to my need and I would include them in my prayer
that I would write out. Then when I was satisfied that I had
it the way I wanted it, then I'd type it out like I told you
earlier, and then I'd make a copy for my wife and myself and
we'd come together and we'd read that and pray it, sign our names
to it, date it, carry it around with us and many times pull it
out of my notebook and I'd say, "Father, I just want you to know
I believe I receive. I thank you that this petition is met, that
I have the petitions I've desired of you." Once again, if
the devil come along and said, "It's never going to work, waste
of time, you did all that research for nothing," I'd just
take it out sand say, "Satan, you're a liar. The truth is not
in you. It is written." Hallelujah, amen. You know, when
you get results the first time, it has a powerful impact on you.
I remember the first petition and I wrote it out and it was
concerning the debts I still owed in my business. I totaled
up all of the debts that I had in my business, Jerry's Paint
and Body Shop in those days, and in that prayer I said, "Now
Father, here's why I am petitioning you for this money.
Here's what I need," and I listed the glass companies, the
parts companies, all the people that I still owed for money, for
parts and things that I had purchased while I had that shop.
Then I totaled it and I said, "Now Father, here's what I
believe I received, this amount. I've written that all in my
prayer petition." Then after we prayed it, believe we received
it, sowed seed toward it, there's no such thing as a
financial harvest without first sowing a financial seed.
Whatever seed I had, and I even put that in my petition. Father,
I remember one time I had $3. That's all I had to my name. I
said, "Father, all I have is $3, and since it doesn't meet my
need, that is now my seed and I'm sowing it toward the
fulfillment of this financial harvest." I sowed that $3 into
whoever it was God impressed me to sow it into and we believed
God. God began to work in miraculous ways. Sometimes God
would use a person. Somebody would say, "God spoke to me and
told me I'm supposed to give you this." Not all the time, but
sometimes. Sometimes it came in the form of somebody would say,
"Jerry, can you work on my car?" I'd pay a bill with it. I
remember us checking off each one of those and then I remember
we got down to one left, one bill I still owed when I moved
to Fort Worth, Texas. That means it's been over a year since I
shut my business down and I had paid every debt off except one.
It seemed like this last one is like the devil just to harass
me. You know what I mean? I remember when we moved over
here, I sat down and I wrote another petition out, but it was
not asking God for that. I found all the scriptures I could find
on thanks giving and praise and I wrote in that petition,
Father, I think and I remember the figure just like it was
yesterday. $294.50 was the last amount I owed. Now, this is 1970
and I'm working for Kenneth Copeland and he's paying me $80
a week. Now $294.50 was a lot of money. When I went to work with
Brother Copeland, his opening remarks to me when I walked in
his little tiny office on Barry Street, "Jerry, I know it's the
will of God for you to be here and in natural, I can't afford
you, but I know it's God's will. If you ever gets paid, it will
be because you use your faith. I can start you at $80 a week. You
have to believe God for that." I thought, good to see you too,
Brother Copeland. That was his opening remarks to me, but you
know what? It inspired me. It challenged me. $80 a weeks, I
hadn't made $80 a week since I was about 16 years old. Here I
am, a grown man, a former business owner. That's all he
could afford because his ministry was in an infant stage,
but hey, I needed my $80 a week. I believe God for that $80. You
can imagine what $294.50 was like when your total income is,
what, $320 a month and they're taking taxes out of that. This
is going to be miraculous. Would you agree? I wrote all the
scriptures I could find on thanks giving and praise. I
didn't ask God for it again because I asked for it in that
petition a year earlier and he had met every one of those and
we're down to this last one. I'd hold up that petition.
I'd say Father I thank you and I'd read all
those scriptures on thanksgiving and praise
and I'll never forget the day that somebody came up to me
at Grace Temple, a member of Grace Temple came up to me. It
didn't happen at Grace Temple but we were going to Grace
Temple and a member there came up to me, a man who owned a
business here in town and said, "Jerry I was praying and your
name kept coming up in my prayer time yesterday and the Lord told
me to give you $300." I thought, he's the God that does
exceedingly, abundantly. I only needed $294.50 and praise God, I
got $5.50 left over. Praise the Lord. Amen. He met that need.
Now, folks when things like that happen, it marks you. It marks
you for the rest of your life, so why not pray like this every
time something looks impossible. Can you say amen? I'm going to
say it again. When you have researched the scriptures and
you've found out what the Word says about your specific need
and you have written it out in the form of a petition, then
there comes this boldness and this confidence that when you
pray it, that God hears you. You know because he hears you that
you have the petitions you've desired of him. Can you say
amen? David said in Psalm 20, in verses 1-5, "The Lord fulfill
all thy petitions." He also says in that same chapter, "And
remember your offerings." Oh I got a revelation there, that God
never forgets a seed sown. Amen? God never forgets a seed sown.
He remembers your offerings. He never forgets a seed sown and he
promises to fulfill all your petitions. David went on to say
in verses 6-9, "Now I know that the Lord saveth his anointed. He
will hear him from his holy heaven and with his saving
strength he will rescue me or deliver me." David is confident
that when he makes a petition before God, that God will hear
him and God will meet that need. Can you say amen? You say now
brother Jerry, are there examples of written petitions in
the Bible? Oh yes. Yes. Ephesians. Galatians, Ephesians,
Philippians, Paul says, "I make mention of you in my prayers."
Then he wrote out what he prayed for. Amen? "I make mention of
you in my prayers that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ the
Father of glory may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation
in the knowledge of him." What is that? A written petition.
Amen? Oh yes there are examples there. In fact sometimes I just
use Paul's petitions and include them in my petitions and expect
God to honor them in my behalf as he did in Paul's behalf. This
is a powerful way to pray, but once again it requires some
research. It requires some preparation. It requires if
you're going to write it to take the time to do that and then
when you and your spouse come together, if that's the case,
when you present that petition before God and you say amen, so
be it. Sign your name to it as a point of contact to release your
faith and then carry that around with you expecting God heard me
and God grants my petitions. Just watch what God will do.
Amen? Praise God. I want to encourage you to learn how to do

petition. Many, many years ago the Lord began to teach me on
this revelation and I have been getting results in my prayer
life ever since. God's no respecter of persons. If you

Voice of Victory broadcast. I'm Kenneth Copeland. And I'll
tell you, I am excited about today. I am so glad to be
here. Jesus is alive. (Laughs) And I'm here to announce, glory
to God, He is the Savior and He is the healer. And you're going
to get your healing today. Father, we thank You for it in
Jesus' name. MORRIS: Oh, mighty God. KENNETH: Amen. Now, before
I say anything else, don't forget to download the study

as always. Now, I want to show you something. And it's a little
bit gory, but I--but hey, you can take it. And I want you to
see it. Now, I want you to look at this picture right here. Now,
that--oh, Lord God. Wow. That was on-- MORRIS: That was my
leg. KENNETH: That was your leg. MORRIS: Yes. KENNETH: Amen. Just
a few months ago-- MORRIS: Absolutely. KENNETH: --because I
sat with you and prayed with you last May, and it looked like
that. MORRIS: That's true. KENNETH: Amen. Now, tell us
about this thing. MORRIS: Well, Kenneth, all last year, for
almost a whole year, I was sick. I was bedfast. I was in a
wheelchair. This leg here was totally paralyzed. And what
you're seeing on the screen, or what they were seeing out
there--it is on the screen. That was my leg. I contracted what
you call vasculitis, a disease that eats away your flesh. And
there is no cure. I had the best medical help that the world
could ever have. They could not do anything. The doctor looked
at me, Kenneth, and he said, "I can give you some medicine, some
pills, that might cure the vasculitis." Now, this was a
wound doctor for maybe 40, 50 years in practice at Scripps
Memorial Hospital in San Diego, California. He said, "But if you
take it," he said--and he looked at me just like this. He said,
"It might kill you." KENNETH: Wow. MORRIS: He said, "It's that
bad and strong of a medicine. We don't know if it will work, but
it has a strong possibility to kill you." KENNETH: My goodness.
MORRIS: I wouldn't take it. I told him--he's my friend. I
said, "I'm not going to take it." So the vasculitis ate into
my foot. You can see from the picture again that it was
several inches long, several inches deep, and I suffered with
this for over eight months. KENNETH: Now, that's the same
thing that paralyzed your leg, right? MORRIS: That's what
paralyzed my leg. And so I didn't take any medicine except
pain pills. The doctor gave me pain pills to alleviate some of
the pain. Every night--Kenneth, let me have your hand--Mama and
I would hold our hands like this, and we'd pray. Do you
know, in all the eight months, I never asked God to heal me? Now,
some things are going to happen on this broadcast today. There's
an anointing, very special, because God is a Spirit. He is
not only with you and I here in the studio, but He's right there
where everybody is watching in their--in their homes. KENNETH:
Absolutely. MORRIS: So I never prayed for God to heal me. You
know what I prayed for? Tears--I cried every night for months. I
was thrown in the back of ambulances. I didn't know where
I was. I had no control of my mind. People--my guys would pick
me up, bring me to the ambulance. I'd wake up in the
hospital the next day. And the doctors would say, "We're not
sure Dr. Cerullo is going to make it. We're not sure." I
prayed, "God, take me home. I've given you 70 years of my life.
I'm 85 years old. I've given you 70 years. Now it's time. Take me
home." But on the other end of that hand was my wife. You know
her so well. KENNETH: Yes. MORRIS: She loves you so much.
She was praying, "God, don't you listen to him." (Kenneth Laughs)
"Heal him." And then, about two months ago--and I've had this
miracle for two months. I've been all over the world; I've
been in Africa, I've been in Brazil, I've been in Peru, I've
been in Panama, I've been in Israel, I've been in India, I've
been in Sri Lanka showing and testifying. They saw the leg.
God came. I got an instant miracle. I could get up, I could
walk, I could leap, I could jump. I could do everything with
my leg that was totally paralyzed. I was in a
wheelchair. KENNETH: Yeah, I know. MORRIS: And then, God
healed the vasculitis. First, He healed my leg. And while my leg
was totally paralyzed and I was healed, the vasculitis was
healed. And I don't know if you guys got a camera or not. We
could show you, there's my picture. But, you know,
that's--that's one thing you could--leave that up there. But
I want you to look right here. Got a camera, a hand-held
camera? I'm going to show you something, Kenny. Look, now,
here you can see. Okay? KENNETH: Can you get it? Can you get it?
MORRIS: Can you get this? Now take a look at that leg. If that
isn't the best looking leg you've ever seen. KENNETH:
(Laughs) MORRIS: Now, just feel that. KENNETH: Now, that's
even--there's less scar on there now than there was in that
picture-- MORRIS: Oh, yeah. KENNETH: --that they just showed
of the healing. Look at that. MORRIS: Like baby skin. KENNETH:
Yeah, it is. MORRIS: God grew brand-new skin. KENNETH:
Hallelujah. Hallelujah. MORRIS: Incredible miracle. Grew skin,
took the vasculitis away, and grew new flesh. KENNETH: Wow.
Praise God. MORRIS: And you know what? I know you believe that
God speaks to people today. Well, you know what He said to
me? He said, "When you testify and you show my people what I
have done, I want you to tell them, it's for a purpose. And
while they're suffering with their physical infirmities, this
testimony will encourage them. You are to tell them to reach
out and take their miracle." KENNETH: Right now, right this
moment, in the name of Jesus. I want you to see something here.
God was ready to do this thing all the time. It wasn't time. It
was not time for Brother Cerullo to go home and be with the Lord.
He was tired, he was sick, he was worn out. You remember the
apostle Paul said, "I don't know whether to go or whether to
stay, but to die is gain. To be with Christ is far better." He
was yearning to go. But right in the middle of that, he--I
believe it happened while he was writing the letter. MORRIS:
Mm-hmm. KENNETH: "No," he said, "it's more expedient that I stay
and finish what I've got to do here." MORRIS: Yes. KENNETH: But
here is what is important. Just almost instantly, when Dr.
Cerullo said, "I take my healing," shhck! I mean, God
just sewed that thing up and rebuilt him a leg and made him
strong. And it was hours after that he was on his airplane
headed for Brazil. I was just shouting the glory over that,
man. I remember when you and I were--last year when we were
together there in San Diego, you were in that wheelchair. MORRIS:
Yes. KENNETH: And you were sitting here. MORRIS: And you
were so kind and came into the special room where I was sitting
because I didn't go into the service. And so I was sitting in
that wheelchair, Mama was there, dying, literally dying. KENNETH:
Yeah. MORRIS: And you walked in and laid hands on me and prayed
for me. KENNETH: I remember, we had finished praying-- MORRIS:
Mm-hmm. KENNETH: --and I was just sitting there. I knew--I
knew the healing anointing was there. MORRIS: Mm-hmm. KENNETH:
I also knew it wasn't making the connection that it should. Of
course, I didn't know--he hadn't told me all this. That was none
of my business at the time that--about--that he hadn't even
asked the Lord for that healing and so forth. But anyway, I
remember this just came up in me. MORRIS: Mm. KENNETH: And I
said, "M.C., you're old enough to die if you want to." MORRIS:
Yes, you did. KENNETH: "You're 85 years old. You can die if you
want to--" MORRIS: Yeah. KENNETH: "--but not like this.
Let God heal you, and then go ahead and die if that's what you
want to do." (Laughs) MORRIS: I remember as if it were today. I
will never forget. I've told that story on you all over
because you also said something else. KENNETH: Yeah, I did.
MORRIS: You turned to Theresa, who, we'd been married for 65
years. And you said to her, "Theresa, don't--Momma, don't
forget, you're the boss." KENNETH: Yeah. I told him, I
said, "You're--now, you're going to listen to your wife." MORRIS:
Yeah, that's right. KENNETH: "Now, she's the boss here, you
understand?" MORRIS: That was sweet. KENNETH: Because she was
the one that was believing God. MORRIS: Absolutely. KENNETH: You
weren't. MORRIS: No. KENNETH: You're willing to die. MORRIS: I
never prayed. KENNETH: And you were getting it done. MORRIS:
Yeah. KENNETH: I don't think--I don't think it would have been
but a matter of days until you was gone, which that's not all
that bad a deal to get to go home and be with the Lord. Oh,
listen, don't ever feel sorry for somebody that's gone to
heaven. Oh, Lord. There ain't none of them--nobody wants to
come back. MORRIS: No. KENNETH: But you, sir, are an
ambassador-- MORRIS: Yes. KENNETH: --to this whole earth.
MORRIS: Yes. KENNETH: And you're not done yet. And you've got a
whole bunch of us right on your coattail. (Laughs) MORRIS: Amen.
KENNETH: So it's--there's just--we've moved over into a
time that--the time that this earth is in, this--the place in
God's end time, we're in the last of the last of the last of
the last days of this. MORRIS: The wonderful thing about this,
Kenneth, is God is speaking very clearly. And He is telling us
to, "Look up, cross over, because I'm going to take my
people to a higher plane than they have ever known." And the
same--now, I love the New Testament. And I know you have
been such an encouragement to the world for the Word of God.
But there's something lacking, or maybe call it missing. The
But there's something lacking, or maybe call it missing. The
God of Jehovah of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Elijah,
that came on the scene, intervened in governments, and
performed miracles. And He said to me, "Son, I'm going to do it
now." KENNETH: Yes, sir. Yes, sir. MORRIS: The same type of
miracles. KENNETH: Yes, sir. MORRIS: I believe we're starting
to see it in our country-- KENNETH: I do, too. MORRIS:
--this year. KENNETH: Yes, sir. I believe that. The--if you go
back to what God did in the ministry of Moses to Pharaoh and
those powerful, powerful miracles that he did-- MORRIS:
Amen. KENNETH: --back there then--but when He did that, you
would have had to have been in Egypt at the time to witness it.
MORRIS: Mm. KENNETH: Nobody around on this side of the world
knew anything about it. MORRIS: Good. KENNETH: Hm-mm. MORRIS:
Good. KENNETH: And some of my native American kinfolks were
already here. But they didn't know anything about what
happened at the Red Sea. And you come down through everything
that's in this magnificent Book; the ministry of Jesus and what
happened here in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, what happened in
the book of Acts and then all of these things, if you weren't
there or very close to there, you didn't know about it.
MORRIS: Hmm. KENNETH: But I'm telling you, there is at--on
hand right now, if we will ask for it and believe we receive
it-- MORRIS: Yes. KENNETH: --there is a manifestation of
the power of God that has never been in this earth. The only
difference is it's all over the thing at the same time. And I'm
about to jump out of this chair. MORRIS: Hallelujah. KENNETH:
Ha-ha-ha! Hallelujah. MORRIS: Glory. KENNETH: And you, sir--
MORRIS: Yes. KENNETH: --are a witness to it-- MORRIS: Amen.
KENNETH: --and a witness for it-- MORRIS: Yes. KENNETH:
--because God has taken you at the--what looked like the
closing days of your life, and just restored your--renewed your
youth and gave you healing in your body. MORRIS: Yes. KENNETH:
And you jumped up and been more places in the last few months
than you would in the last several years. MORRIS: Yep.
Absolutely right. KENNETH: And He'll do it for you, and He'll
do it right now. MORRIS: Yes. KENNETH: Amen. You're not done
yet. MORRIS: Mm-hmm. KENNETH: I'm going to tell you something,
old man, old woman, let me tell you something, old pastor, let
me tell you something, it ain't over with yet! MORRIS: Amen.
KENNETH: Hey, no, you're not done yet! "Well, nobody needs me
anymore." Ah, shut up. You know better to talk like that. Get up
from there, praise God-- MORRIS: Hallelujah. KENNETH: --and just
reach out to God and take hold of what is in your life. Don't
miss out on this. Don't miss out on these last years here and all
of this miracle stuff. It'd be wonderful to go to heaven, but
we need you. We need you. You've seen things, and you know things
that these young kids don't know. And they need to know it.
And they need to hear it from you. Let God heal you. Praise
God. Amen. MORRIS: Praise the Lord. KENNETH: It's time for
that, and it's so good. And it's all over the place. Let me tell
you what happened. In 2016, we were in Peru. We were in Lima,
Peru. MORRIS: Yes. KENNETH: And we were in a sports arena right
downtown there. MORRIS: Mm-hmm. KENNETH: Two blocks away is a
hospital. Now, we had--I'm telling you, God was moving. And
we were just see--and here we had pastors in there from all
over Latin America. I mean, they were there from everywhere.
MORRIS: Praise God. KENNETH: God is so moving. And we were having
such a big time. There was a woman with malignant tumors on
her thyroid in that hospital being examined by her doctors
two weeks--two blocks away from our meeting. All of a sudden,
she said, "I'm on fire. I'm on fire. I am burning. I'm on
fire." It frightened her doctor. He don't know what's going on
with you. He just--she said, "I'm on fire. I'm telling you,
I'm on fire." He examined her, the tumors were gone. MORRIS:
Hallelujah. KENNETH: She--they disappeared. MORRIS: Hallelujah.
KENNETH: They dismissed her from the hospital. And she walks out
of the hospital and sees the big billboard. And she said, "Oh."
So she just walked from the hospital into our meeting place.
And when she walked in there, she said, "Oh, this is what
happened to me." MORRIS: Oh, praise God. KENNETH: And she got
born again. She got baptized in the Holy Ghost, speaking with
other tongue. And she was just rejoicing and gave her
testimony. Well, we're talking about the glory of the Lord
here, the glory of God on that place, and it came down over
there. MORRIS: Mm-hmm. KENNETH: Now, I don't know what else
happened in that two-or-three-block radius
because as far as I know we haven't heard other testimonies.
But now listen, God is doing things in a special way. MORRIS:
Mm-hmm. KENNETH: We--there was a man in, well, Billy Burke's
ministry. And he was down in Stan Moore's church in Miami,
Florida. He's a good friend of ours. I've preached for Stan. In
fact, I'll preach for him in just a few days from now. And
Stan, Sr., just went on to be with the Lord here just a couple
of days ago. And--but he was in his church there in Miami. And
there was a woman that came up for prayer. She was in stage IV
leukemia. MORRIS: Mm. KENNETH: So Billy laid hands on her. And
she went out under the power and laid there on the floor for a
long time, the rest of the service, really. And got up and
went home. She woke up the next morning, and she said she just
felt wonderful. But she looked--there was blood all over
her bed. There was blood all over her nightclothes. There was
blood in the floor around her bed. She said, "I felt great."
But they took her to the hospital anyway. And, of course,
she's got a blood doctor. It's, you know, leukemia. He checked
her blood. He said, "There's no sign of leukemia in your blood."
MORRIS: Wow. KENNETH: But her daughter said, "Well, check the
blood in her gown." It was full of leukemia. MORRIS: My God.
KENNETH: Now, here's the thing: A lot of times that God has
healed leukemia, but not a lot of times that He's done a
complete blood transfusion-- MORRIS: Transfusion. KENNETH:
--in the middle of the night. MORRIS: Right. KENNETH: Special
things-- MORRIS: Yeah. KENNETH: --are happening. MORRIS: Amen.
KENNETH: And you need to be in on it. We're going to be in on
it. BOTH: Amen. KENNETH: Because this is a special time. There's
healing. There's healing right now. Praise God. MORRIS: Amen.
KENNETH: Amen. MORRIS: This is the season. You know, times and
seasons, as you know, are very important to God. KENNETH: Yes,
they are. MORRIS: And this is the season. KENNETH: Yes, it is.
This is the time for it, isn't it? MORRIS: Amen. KENNETH: Yeah.
It's God's plan. MORRIS: It is. It's part of the destiny of the
end time for this to be manifested. KENNETH: Hallelujah.

and we give all the honor, all the praise to the wonderful,
matchless name of Jesus. And we're so thrilled with what's
happening in this hour in which we live. And we ask You to
reveal things about that to us today, in Jesus' name. Amen.

KENNETH: --this broadcast. Praise God. MORRIS: --to be with
you here today. KENNETH: Oh, and, see, that just blesses me
so much. MORRIS: I've been blessed listening to you break
the bread of life and the way in which God leads you and how you
grasp on to the leading of the Holy Spirit. It makes all the
difference in the world. KENNETH: My, my. MORRIS: Yeah.
KENNETH: Praise God. Isn't He wonderful? MORRIS: Yes. Praise
God. KENNETH: Now, there's something that you were talking
about yesterday when we ran out of time. MORRIS: Yeah. KENNETH:
Oh, on that broadcast yesterday, we could have gone another flat
two hours in there, you know, and it would have been
marvelous. But I--you were talking about, we are living in
the day of spiritual breakthroughs-- MORRIS:
Breakthrough. KENNETH: --and talking about parallel truths.
When you--and when you begin to see things suddenly start coming
to pass in the natural world-- MORRIS: Yes. KENNETH: --and
particularly things that medicine's been looking for for
years-- MORRIS: Absolutely. KENNETH: --and it just couldn't
find it, but suddenly they get it-- MORRIS: Exactly. KENNETH:
--that--men don't do that. God does that. It's His--it's His
hand. He's more interested--He is a whole lot more interested
in a cancer breakthrough than people are. MORRIS: Uh-huh.
KENNETH: And if they listen to Him, they could get it quicker.
MORRIS: Yeah. KENNETH: But anyway, this Scripture in the
16th chapter of John, has, from 13, 14, 15th verses, Jesus
talking about the Spirit of God. MORRIS: Mm-hmm. KENNETH: And
this has just been just throbbing in my spirit for
months and months. "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is
come, he will guide you into all truth." MORRIS: Mm. KENNETH:
"For he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall
hear, that shall he speak." Now, I want to make a note right here
that He is speaking. MORRIS: Mm-hmm. KENNETH: He's not
silent. He is speaking. MORRIS: Yes. KENNETH: We're the ones
that have been so spiritually dense, we haven't been able to
hear it. It's when we open our ears, Jesus said-- MORRIS: Oh,
yeah. KENNETH: --"These people have shut their eyes and shut
their ears." Well, if you shut your eyes, you can open your
eyes. MORRIS: Yeah. You know, Kenneth, you mentioned, all
truth is parallel. Okay. What did Jesus say? He said, "I can
do nothing of Myself, but," He said, "that which I see the
Father do." KENNETH: Amen. MORRIS: Breakthrough. KENNETH:
Breakthrough. MORRIS: "I can do it." And so that's what that
Scripture says. When the Spirit of truth comes, it'll take you
into realms of the Spirit that you never experienced before.
And those realms of the Spirit will manifest and reveal
supernaturally. KENNETH: Amen. MORRIS: That's my expectation
for this hour. KENNETH: I am absolutely on fire. I'm--
MORRIS: Hallelujah. KENNETH: I can tell you in tongues what
I'm-- MORRIS: It's all right. KENNETH: --you know, that--
MORRIS: It's all right. KENNETH: He said He will show you things
to come. MORRIS: Yeah. KENNETH: Now, here's what I want you to
get. This--this is Jesus. Every word that Jesus said--listen
carefully. I don't want you to misunderstand what I'm saying.
Every word that Jesus said, every word that He promised
these men that--to which he was speaking, every one of these
words is a command and mandate on the Holy Spirit. MORRIS: Mm.
KENNETH: Once Jesus said this, the Holy Spirit is bound to do
it. MORRIS: Mm-hmm. KENNETH: Now, listen to--listen--listen
to this part of it. "He'll show you things to come." But, now,
He's not going to show you things to come if you don't ask
Him-- MORRIS: Mm-hmm. KENNETH: --and believe you'll receive it,
open your eyes and ears. "He will glorify me: for he will
receive of mine, and show it unto you. All things--" Think
about this. MORRIS: Mm-hmm. KENNETH: "All things that the
Father has are mine: therefore said I"-- MORRIS: Hallelujah.
KENNETH: "--he'll take what's mine, and show it unto you."He
said it twice. MORRIS: Yes, yes. KENNETH: Amen. Now, we, first of
all, think in the line of ministry, but we're talking
about parallel truths here. God is opening up for men to learn
and know things that they never knew before. MORRIS: Absolutely.
KENNETH: Gateway to the supernatural is swung wide open.
MORRIS: Open, yeah. KENNETH: I got all excited. I've--the Lord
made way, and we got our first new jet airplane. MORRIS: Yeah.
KENNETH: I didn't know they made new ones. (Laughs) I felt--you
know, I--but God blessed with a new one. And I'm telling you, I
was just--I stopped--the first trip I flew it, I stopped and
got out of it and danced on the ramp. (Laughs) I was just so
excited about it. And--and I began to question the Lord about
some things. I said, "Lord, why is it that the--the technology
of aviation" --if you go--well, the Scripture said all things
were created for and by Jesus. MORRIS: Mm-hmm. KENNETH: God
didn't reveal airplanes so the devil could use them. MORRIS:
Absolutely. KENNETH: No, they belong to the Gospel. MORRIS:
Absolutely. KENNETH: And everything that--the TV belongs
to the Gospel. MORRIS: Yeah. KENNETH: That's what it was
created for. MORRIS: Absolutely. KENNETH: That's what the
breakthroughs were for. MORRIS: Mm-hmm. KENNETH: And I said,
"Lord, why is it that You gave that technology to the world?"
And He said, "Well--" He said, "I had to have the technology
right now. Because of the Gospel, I had to have it." But
He said, "I couldn't get any of my people to do it." MORRIS: Mm.
KENNETH: He said, "I couldn't get them to come to get the
airplane. They wouldn't even buy a new car, much less an
airplane." MORRIS: Mm-hmm. KENNETH: And He said, "You
remember how mad they got at you when you first got your
airplane?" "Oh, what does the preacher need with an airplane?"
I had somebody ask me that once. "I'd like to know what a
preacher needs an airplane for." MORRIS: Yes. KENNETH: I said,
"To go high and fast and more often." MORRIS: Right. KENNETH:
That's what it was for. Without that airplane, I would've had to
decrease what I was doing-- MORRIS: Yeah. KENNETH: --upwards
of 35 or 40 percent. MORRIS: Maybe more. KENNETH: Probably
more than that. MORRIS: Maybe more. KENNETH: Well, in the
shape the airlines are in now, yeah, it's even more than that.
MORRIS: It would be more. KENNETH: So what I'm saying is--
MORRIS: I will do 80 meetings this year. 80. 80. KENNETH: Wow.
MORRIS: Without the Frontliner Airplane, which is the name of
our plane, could never do it. KENNETH: You couldn't do that.
MORRIS: Impossible. KENNETH: You needed the technology. MORRIS:
Yes. KENNETH: That's-- MORRIS: And we got the breakthrough.
KENNETH: That's what I'm--and that's what I'm poking at you
about. MORRIS: Yeah. KENNETH: I want to hear what God has shown
you now. MORRIS: Well, we want to fly further spiritually
because I think--I'm a great believer in doing this. You know
what that means? It means take the mask off. KENNETH:
Hallelujah. MORRIS: I'm a great believer. Get the mask off. The
church of Jesus--now, don't get mad at me. You can edit this out
of your program. The church of Jesus Christ no way even
measures up in the demonstration of the ability of a resurrected
Christ. KENNETH: Mm, mm. We've not seen-- MORRIS: But we are
going to. KENNETH: And we're in it right now. MORRIS: Yeah.
KENNETH: Yeah. MORRIS: There's a word that is so strong, not only
"breakthrough" but "destiny." KENNETH: Yes, amen. MORRIS: It's
our destiny. KENNETH: Yes, amen. MORRIS: Destiny is a
pre--(Sneezes) Excuse me. KENNETH: Bless you. MORRIS: --a
preconceived--God has preconceived the plan for your
life-- KENNETH: Yes, sir. MORRIS: --what's happening in
your life. KENNETH: Yes, sir. MORRIS: It's not something that
just decided, "Well, now I'll do these things." No. God planned
for them. KENNETH: Yes. MORRIS: And it's so important for people
who are listening to the Believer's Voice of Victory
every day to receive the prophet. God says, "Don't
despise prophecy." He says, "I'm not about to do anything until I
first tell you that I'm going to do it, because that's the only
way I get glory. If I tell you first I'm going to pour out of
My spirit, if I tell you first that I am going to manifest
creative miracles"-- KENNETH: Yes. MORRIS: "--then when you
begin to see them, you'll give Me honor, you'll give Me glory."
It's like II Chronicles 20:20. I love it. "Believe in the Lord
your God, so shall you--" KENNETH: So shall you-- MORRIS:
"--be established; believe his prophets, so shall you prosper."
Sometimes it's so hard. I like the 6th chapter of the Gospel of
St. John. To me, it's a life-changing story. Jesus is
healing the sick. And the Bible says, "a great multitude
followed Him." Why? Because He was a good orator? No. KENNETH:
No. MORRIS: But they followed Him because they saw the
miracles that He did on them, which were disease. But yet we
have an apostate church. Unfortunate. And where you and I
live in today--that instead of rejoicing when God picks up
somebody and uses them, they criticize. "Oh, look at all the
people. They're just running after miracles. They just want a
little loaves and fishes." And, you know, that's--that's true.
KENNETH: Mm-hmm. MORRIS: And that's a stigma that we have to
bear. But in this chapter, the people followed Him because of
the manifestation and the supernaturalism of what came
from Jesus' life. The multitude just swarmed Him. And then you
know the story that follows this, tremendous story of how He
fed the multitude, 5,000 men-- KENNETH: Mm-hmm. MORRIS: --plus
the women and children, with a few little loaves and fishes.
And now, excuse me. He goes to Tiberius after this miracle.
5,000 men plus the women and children say, "Jesus is Lord!"
Why? They saw the miracles. They ate of the miracles. They
partook of the miracles. And now, Jesus goes away, and He
comes back, and the disciples run to meet Him. And then the
28th verse, "They said unto Him"--they meet him, He's come
back-- "What shall we do?" We saw what happened. Tell us,
back-- "What shall we do?" We saw what happened. Tell us,
Lord. "What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?"
John 6:28. KENNETH: Yes, sir. That's the--that's the way the
thing works. MORRIS: Yeah. That's the way God designed it
to work. KENNETH: Yeah. He designed it to work like that.
MORRIS: Yeah. KENNETH: So what's the next step? You've got
something to do with the next step. MORRIS: Absolutely.
KENNETH: All of us got something to do with this step here. Lord,
what's my part? What do You want me to do? MORRIS: Yeah. KENNETH:
I'm ready. MORRIS: How can You use me? That's the key. KENNETH:
Yeah. MORRIS: We talked about, a few days ago, when Jesus rebuked
them for their own belief when He entered into the room and
then turned around and said, "Go." KENNETH: "You go." MORRIS:
The secret is, how does one get the anointing? How does one get
the presence of God? How is it imputed into them so they can go
out and change the world? You know, in my crusades that I've
conducted for the past 70 years, I would start leaving a little
platform, a little roped-off area where we would allow the
sick to come. And in crusade after crusade after crusade, I'd
start with 1,000 people. First night, 1,500 people, 2,000
people. All of a sudden, when this began to take place, what
must we do when the works of Jesus began to be seen? God
knows I don't exaggerate. We don't need to exaggerate for
Him. Within five days, it was 50,000 people on that same
grounds, sometimes more. KENNETH: Yeah. MORRIS: Why?
Because the Word spread. The blind are seeing, the deaf are
hearing, the crippled are walking. They followed Jesus not
because He fed them with loaves and fishes, but they saw the
miracles. KENNETH: Yes, amen. Yes. MORRIS: And that's what we
need. We need proof producers. We need--we need first to
reinterpret what a minister is. He's not just somebody who
carries a card in his pocket that he belongs to a certain
denomination but that every--see, you're not a doctor
first. First, you're a minister. You're not a lawyer first.
First, you're a minister. You're not a nurse first. First, you're
a minister. And we've got to reinterpret what the ministry
is. KENNETH: Yeah. Every born-again believer-- MORRIS:
Absolutely. KENNETH: --is one of them. MORRIS: Absolutely.
KENNETH: Yes. Amen. MORRIS: And they have got to receive the
anointing of the Holy Spirit. Because without that
manifestation, their destiny can never be fulfilled.
Breakthrough. It's theirs. They--everybody watching us
today, if in your heart, there's a real hunger, "God I want You
to use me," and you present yourself to Him today, He will
change you, and He will use you. KENNETH: Hallelujah. Thank You,
Lord. Thank You, Father. Thank You, Lord. Thank You, Jesus.
There's other things happening. Glory to God. Glory to God.
Glory to God. Glory, glory, glory, glory, glory. Glory to
God. Yes, sir. Lord, You want me to do that. Now, I'm going to
give you an illustration. Just last Saturday morning, this man
give you an illustration. Just last Saturday morning, this man
laid hands on several thousand people, one at a time. It took
laid hands on several thousand people, one at a time. It took
over three hours to do it. In doing so--I mean, the man's 85
years old, working on 86, every day, and has just
been--miraculously been healed from an incurable disease and
paralyzed leg. But I'm going to tell you something. He didn't
wait to get physically built back up and take six months to
get strong enough. He hit the ground the next week, headed to
Brazil the next week. He's been all over the world in just a few
weeks. Now, in that kind of atmosphere, he caught a cold.
And you're sitting out there, saying, "Well, you know, if he's
going to do all this and that, why don't he get healed of that
cold?" You put yourself in a very dangerous position. Amen.
To criticize the prophet of God is dangerous. That'll cut off
the breakthrough. MORRIS: Mm-hmm. KENNETH: And the devil
would like nothing more-- MORRIS: That's right. KENNETH:
--than to cut that off. MORRIS: Yeah. KENNETH: So you know what
we're going to do? MORRIS: Hmm? KENNETH: You and I are going to
believe God for the healing of colds and flu all over this
television broadcast. MORRIS: All over this--praise God.
KENNETH: Praise God. MORRIS: Amen. KENNETH: Amen. And you
just--you just take your camera there, and--and just minister
healing to them. MORRIS: Praise God. KENNETH: Amen. MORRIS:
Praise God. Father, we touch and agree at this very moment who is
like unto Thee. There is no other God besides You. You're
the One that breathed into us the breath of life. You're the
One that so loved this world that You gave Your only begotten
son. Jesus, you're the One who came to defeat all the works of
Satan; colds, sicknesses, sin. I command You, principalities,
powers, spiritual wickedness, be bound over this TV audience--
KENNETH: Yes, amen. MORRIS: --come forth from these people
in Jesus' mighty name. And, Father, we release
Your healing, Your presence, right into these homes
now. KENNETH: Oh, God. MORRIS: Amen. Amen.

They are very easy to make
to make them we need
100 g Dry Coconut
125 g sugar
2 egg whites
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
Orange Food Colour
Vanilla essence
Firstly we will place pan on the burner at sim flame.
and add our dry coconut powder,
then add sugar,
add egg whites
and a pinch of food colour.
And we will mix it very well.
we have to cook it for only 2 minutes.
mix it nicely.
we don't have to melt all the sugar
some sugar crystals should be left.
when our mixture is ready we will turn off the flame
when mixture reaches to room temperature we will add some drops of vanilla essence
and baking powder
And will mix it nicely
vanilla essence is for flavor and baking powder is used to rise the Macaroons
When our mixture is Ready
we will dust some flour on the baking tray.
And after that we can make macaroons of any shape
You can make them with the help of spoon
I'm making it with my hand.
we will place macaroons at some distance as they will rise when baked.
we have to bake it at 250 °F for 40 - 45 minutes.
We have to bake it till they get golden brown colour.
After than we will take out the baking tray from the oven and let it cool down
we can serve it in a serving bowl
or you can put them in air tight boxes and can consume it for a month.

KENNETH: Hello, everybody. I'm Kenneth Copeland. This is
the Believer's Voice of Victory Broadcast. Let's have a
word of prayer, and we'll get right into today's Bible lesson.
Father, we thank You today for Your presence. MORRIS CERULLO:
Mm. KENNETH: We honor Your presence among us. And we thank
You with all of our hearts for all the wonderful blessings and
the outpourings and everything that You've done for us. You are
so good, and Your mercy endures forever. Father, we thank You
for this broadcast today. Manifest Yourself as You will.
This place belongs to You, Sir. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
MORRIS: Amen. KENNETH: I want you to join me today in
welcoming a very, very special guest, Dr. Morris Cerullo.
MORRIS: Brother Copeland, it's a delight to be here with you.
KENNETH: Well, thank you, sir. MORRIS: This is a special place.
KENNETH: Like I told you before we got on the air, I've been
wanting you in that chair for a long time now. MORRIS: Thank
you. KENNETH: And I'm so blessed that you're here. There's--oh,
my. There's so much that we want to talk about. I'd like to begin
by reading in the last chapter of the book of Mark where Jesus
spoke and set the course for the Body of Christ just--just at the
last moments before He ascended. MORRIS: Mm-hmm. KENNETH: "And He
said," beginning with the 15th Verse, "Go ye into all the
world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believes
and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall
be damned," or condemned. "These signs shall follow them that
believe--" MORRIS: Mm. KENNETH: "--in my name shall they cast
out devils--" MORRIS: Mm-hmm. KENNETH: "--they shall speak
with new tongues--" MORRIS: Yes. KENNETH: "--they shall take up
serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt
them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall
recover. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was
received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And
they went forth, preached everywhere, the Lord working
with them, and confirming the word with signs following."
MORRIS: Mm. KENNETH: I don't know of another preacher of the
Gospel anywhere that has done more to fulfill this than Morris
Cerullo. MORRIS: Thank you, sir. KENNETH: And it's--the flow--the
flow of his ministry is unique. It's something
that--ha-ha-ha--all of us wish we would have thought of.
Ha-ha-ha. Of course, I know you didn't think of it. The Lord
instructed you to do this. MORRIS: Yeah. KENNETH: The man's
been in the ministry over 70 years. And I've known him
over--well over 30 of that 70. MORRIS: 70 years. KENNETH: And
we've become very close over the years. But now, you could go,
for instance, into any city and preach to the people in that
city. Now, if you did that in every major city of the world,
it still would not be as effective-- MORRIS: Mm. KENNETH:
--as going to that city and bringing in ministers from all
over that country and literally training those preachers to
preach the Gospel. MORRIS: Amen. KENNETH: And that's the--that's
what Brother Cerullo's been doing. That's what his
ministry's been doing all these years, which meant, instead of
reaching the city, you reach the nation. MORRIS: Absolutely.
KENNETH: And it has grown, and it has grown, and it has grown.
And I've been privileged to be a small part of that. And it
has--it's blessed me beyond measure. Now, he has also--oh,
my, my, my, my. I'm telling you, we're going to talk about the
book of his life before the program is over. But I mean, you
just read this and it's--he's seen miracles and miracle
healings, and things, just outstanding things. But one of
the most outstanding miracles that I know of-- MORRIS: Mm.
KENNETH: --has happened to him. And just-- MORRIS: Recently.
KENNETH: --I mean just recently, just in the last-- MORRIS: Year.
KENNETH: --weeks and couple months ago or so. And so we're
going to be talking about that. And I want you to get ready,
because I don't care what's the matter with you, you're going to
get your healing. Praise God. MORRIS: Amen. KENNETH: If you
just--all you've got to do is just--is receive it because it
belongs to you. "Well, Brother Copeland, you reckon it's God's
will?" You think He wants you to be sick? "Well, someone told me
that." Well, someone lied to you then because the Word of God
doesn't say that. MORRIS: Absolutely. KENNETH: Jesus said,
"I came down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of
Him that sent me." MORRIS: Yes. KENNETH: And you go search the
Bible yourself and find out and see if Jesus told anybody that
God put that sickness on them, or that they had to have that
sickness for awhile, or that God was trying to teach them
something. No. You know what He said? He said, "Your faith made
you whole." MORRIS: Mm-hmm. KENNETH: So anybody that would
believe it-- MORRIS: They get it. KENNETH: --they get it.
(Both Laugh) Amen. Praise God. That's just wonderful, isn't it?
MORRIS: You know, Kenneth, this is one of my most favorite
Scriptures that you read today in all the Bible, not only to
start at the 15th verse, but it's an answer to the first 15
verses. In the Gospel of St. Mark, the 16th chapter, you'll
find the story of not one believer, including Mary
Magdalene, including the mother of Jesus, that believed He was
going to be resurrected. Not one. KENNETH: Not one. MORRIS:
And this story tells it here in the 16th chapter, how that
"Early in the morning the first day of the week, they came to
the sepulcher at the rising of the sun. They said, Who's going
to roll this stone away?" Now, what were they doing there if
they believed He was going to be resurrected? KENNETH: That's
right. That's right. MORRIS: They expected to find Him in the
grave. "Who's going to roll the stone away?" They entered the
sepulchre. I'm just going to paraphrase it. They saw a young
man sitting on the right side. And he said, "Don't be afraid:
You seek Jesus of Nazareth: he's risen; he's not here: behold the
place where they have laid him. Go your way, tell his disciples,
tell Peter he goes before them into Galilee. You're going to
see him," the angel makes a promise, "as he said unto you."
That means the angel is testifying that before Jesus
went away, "He told you--" KENNETH: He told them. MORRIS:
"'--I'm coming out of the grave. I'm going to be resurrected.'"
Now, they go out. Look at the 8th Verse. "They went out, they
fled from the sepulchre; they trembled, they were amazed."
Now, I want to ask you a question, all right? KENNETH:
Yes, sir. MORRIS: If an angel of God stood here, you saw him, you
heard him, and he said, "Morris, Kenneth, go down the street.
You'll find a little house. Somebody in there is sick and
afflicted. Go in there, lay hands on them," what would you
do? KENNETH: I'd go down there. MORRIS: Would you really?
KENNETH: I believe I would. (Laughs) MORRIS: All right.
KENNETH: Amen. MORRIS: Not these disciples. KENNETH: I know.
That's right. MORRIS: "Neither did they say anything." The
angel who appeared to the women gave them the instruction, "He's
going to fulfill the word that He said to you. He will rise."
They walked out of the sepulchre. And what does it say?
"They didn't tell anybody." KENNETH: My, my, my. MORRIS:
"Now Jesus was risen the night--the first day of the
week, he appeared to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had
cast seven devils." Now she goes, and she tells them that
had been with Jesus, those that mourned with Him, those that
wept. "And when they heard that he was alive--" What is the last
verse--part of that verse says? KENNETH: They didn't believe it.
MORRIS: Now, what have we got? We've got a group of close
followers, women, disciples. They all hear the message now
that Jesus is risen, but they look at those that testified who
had seen Him and heard the angel and they're giving the
testimony, and they say, "We don't believe it." KENNETH: My,
my, my. MORRIS: Now, these are the people, Kenneth, that He is
depending upon to reach the world. You think of all these
people that are watching the Believer's Voice of Victory
today. What an incredible army God could have if you could give
divine impartation to them so that when they got to the 15th
verse, and He says, "Go ye into all the world"-- Who's going to
go? These unbelievers? These that say, "I will not believe"?
One more place, one more time. Kenneth, can I do one more?
KENNETH: Sure. MORRIS: Okay. "And afterward he--" meaning
Jesus, right? KENNETH: Mm-hmm. MORRIS: "--appeared in another
form to two of them, and they went--" Now, we've got the women
testifying about the angels and the empty tomb. The men have
heard about it. They say, "We won't believe." Now, two others
see Him. And they go and they tell it in the 13th verse to the
residue. In other words, all the rest, right? KENNETH: Mm-hmm.
MORRIS: And what does it say? KENNETH: They didn't believe it
either. MORRIS: "Neither believed they them." How are we
going to reach the world with these that are unbelievers, who
have seen the resurrected Lord, heard Him speak to them, but
they say, "We don't care. We don't believe it's real"? Now,
the next scene, you read it. They're sitting together at
meat. Jesus comes through the closed doors, right? Comes
through the wall. He stands there in front of them. And this
is--this is what blows my mind. This is why God has asked me,
"Build Me an army. Raise Me up men and women that will have the
anointing, have the divine capability." To do what? "To
prove to the world, I am not in the grave." KENNETH: Amen.
Witnesses that have evidence. MORRIS: Ability to do it. So
now, you read it. He said to them, when He went into the
room, He said, "Go ye into all the world. Go on." Now, I
wouldn't--would I send these unbelievers? Would I send these
no-good renegades who walked with Him, who saw Him open the
eyes of the blind, unstop the ears of the deaf, raise the
dead? And now He Himself appeared to them in His
resurrected body, and the angels appeared to them and the
testimony is the same; they believed not, they believed not,
they believed not. And now Jesus comes into that room, "Go into
all the world, preach the gospel." I wouldn't send them.
You probably have more faith than I do. But Jesus looked at
them, and here's the key: When He saw them, He was not
depending on what they were. And Jesus is not depending on what
you are or what you possess. He's depending on only one
thing: "What can I make of you?" KENNETH: Amen. Amen. MORRIS:
"And when I touch your life, and when My anointing comes into
your life, when the Holy Spirit which is in Me, that Holy Spirit
that raised Me from the dead, dwells in you, you'll go out.
And then you'll do these works." KENNETH: Yeah. Because of Him,
these signs are going to follow you. MORRIS: Amen. KENNETH:
Amen. MORRIS: Because He's changed you-- KENNETH: Yes.
MORRIS: --from a doubter, from a questioner, to one without
question, goes forth. And like Jesus, "As My Father sent Me, so
send I you." KENNETH: Amen. MORRIS: And they grabbed ahold
of it. They became proof producers. KENNETH: Isn't that
wonderful? Praise God. Hallelujah. Well, that comes
right--it comes right back to our front door. MORRIS: Amen.
KENNETH: We have to do this. But just take Peter for example.
Run, hide--well, so did the rest of them. MORRIS: Yes. KENNETH:
But then--oh, man. Then after the day of Pentecost, it was a
totally different story, wasn't it-- MORRIS: Hallelujah.
KENNETH: --because of the greater One that came and the
anointing that came on them when they were baptized in the Holy
Ghost. MORRIS: Change. KENNETH: Absolutely. MORRIS: That's what
we need. KENNETH: Inside-out. MORRIS: We need to be changed.
KENNETH: Praise God. MORRIS: And you know, the wonderful thing
about it is, we're not alone. We think it all depends on us, but
it really doesn't. KENNETH: No. MORRIS: Remember what Jesus said
to Peter? "You're a renegade. You're going to deny me." And
Peter, of course, he was that, you know, strong man. "No, my
God. I'd never do--" He said, "You will. "But," He said,
"Peter, I want to tell you something. I prayed for you."
KENNETH: Praise God. Amen. MORRIS: "I prayed that you would
not fail." And so remember, we're never alone. We're called,
we're chosen, and He's praying for us consistently that we will
be what He was to His Father, and He gives us the ability to
be Him. KENNETH: You know, I did--I did essentially the same
thing when in--I accepted the Lord as my Savior in the first
part of November of 1962. Gloria and I had been married about six
months. And she got saved a couple of weeks before I did.
And I knew--I knew almost immediately what I was supposed
to do. I knew it when I was a teenager, and I didn't want to
do it. MORRIS: No. KENNETH: So--and there were some things
happening. The devil made sure that there were some things
happening that enforced that in me. And I won't go into that.
But when I should have been at Oral Roberts University, I knew
I was--I knew I was supposed to go there. MORRIS: Mm. KENNETH: I
should have been there in 1963 instead of 1967. MORRIS: Hmm.
KENNETH: So all of '63, all of '64, all of '65. And I--let me
put it this way. I should have been--when the--in the first
class. MORRIS: Mm. KENNETH: That class graduated while I was
there, but I enrolled in school that last semester. So I got to
watch that class graduate. I should have been there that
whole four-year period. MORRIS: Mm. KENNETH: I was that--I was
that late coming to work. Ha-ha-ha. MORRIS: Yeah. KENNETH:
But same reason, I didn't want to go to school. And I kept
thinking, "What am I going to do? I can't do that." I never
was all that hot in school in the first place, and I don't
like it. But I mean, where--how am I going to do this with--with
little children and--how can I do this? I can't do it. MORRIS:
Mm. KENNETH: So I'm thinking the same thing. MORRIS: Absolutely.
KENNETH: "I can't do that. I can't do that." And when I
finally figured out, "I can't do it," ha-ha-ha, that's when it
changed. But the idea that, "I have to provide for my children.
I have to do this. I have to do that," rather than trust God to
do it, that's where so many failures happen right there. And
we're out of time. (Both Laugh) Oh, praise God. Brother Morris

MORRIS: What a wonderful delight-- KENNETH: M.C.--
MORRIS: --to be here with you. KENNETH: I tell you-- MORRIS:
I've been so blessed. KENNETH: Amen. I love you, sir. MORRIS:
Thank you. KENNETH: And I've enjoyed loving you for a long
time now. (Laughs) MORRIS: Thank you. KENNETH: Hallelujah. I
remember the first time I really ever got interested in what God
was really doing. MORRIS: Mm. KENNETH: I was raised in a
Christian home. I mean--and a strong Christian home. It wasn't
my mama's fault I turned out like I did. (Laughs) You know, I
tried my best to go to hell. She just wouldn't let me go. MORRIS:
Praise God. KENNETH: And she was a real prayer warrior. But when
I did obey God and I went to Oral Roberts University, and the
first day there, by miraculous-- MORRIS: Circumstance. KENNETH:
--arrangement of the Lord, Brother--Dr. Roberts hired me as
copilot on the airplane, which put me in the meetings. Because
I--you know, he couldn't go to a meeting without me. And then
right away, they--several--second or third
meeting, they assigned me to drive his car. So that's when he
and I began to be close friends. But during that time, I began to
realize that this guy named Cerullo had been out there the
same length of time that Oral Roberts had. MORRIS: Mm.
KENNETH: And there were signs and wonders and miracles in his
ministry. MORRIS: Mm. KENNETH: And I just kept hearing about
you. And of course, being around--being around Oral and
Bob DeWeese and all these guys-- MORRIS: Yes, yes. KENNETH:
--it--every so often, your name would come up. And they'd talk
about the meetings, you know, that you had-- MORRIS: Mm.
KENNETH: --and got me really interested. And then when I had
the opportunity--you--Carl said, "I want to see you." MORRIS: Mm.
KENNETH: "I want you to come see me." MORRIS: Yes. KENNETH: I
said, "Gloria, what do you think he wants with me?" (Laughs) She
said, "I don't know. Let's go find out." So we did. We came to
San Diego-- MORRIS: Yes. KENNETH: --and met you and fell
in love with you-- MORRIS: Thank you. KENNETH: --and Theresa. And
we have just been so blessed with your life and your ministry
and particularly when your book came out and all of those
different things over the years. Being associated with you has
inspired me and brought me to-- MORRIS: Thank you. KENNETH:
--higher places in the Lord. I just want you-- MORRIS: Thank
you so much. KENNETH: --to know that, and I wanted everybody to
know it. Praise God. Now, just in 2016--let me show you a
picture again--that was on Dr. Cerullo's leg. That's his leg
right there. That angry, incurable thing had brought him
to the point of death several times. It was just the mercy of
God that he didn't die. But then there's Jesus. MORRIS: Amen.
KENNETH: Whoo! Glory to God. MORRIS: Amen. KENNETH: And
healed him. And just put new skin and--and there now, not
even any--I want you to see this. Look at this now. Look. Do
you--look at him! Look at him! You see those Nike running shoes
he's got on? Glory. Play that again. Back that thing up and
play it again. I want to see it again. Now, this was--this was
just a few days-- MORRIS: Yeah. KENNETH: --after you'd been in
that other condition. MORRIS: That's right. And remember, I
was paralyzed-- KENNETH: Completely paralyzed-- MORRIS:
--in one leg-- KENNETH: --in that leg. MORRIS: --in the right
leg. KENNETH: Yeah. MORRIS: Completely paralyze--I was in a
wheelchair. I laid in a bed for months. KENNETH: And look at
you. (Laughs) Glory to God. Now then, I want us to look at
I Peter 2:24. MORRIS: Oh, yes. Amen. KENNETH: "Who his own
self--" It's talking about Jesus. MORRIS: Yes. KENNETH:
"--bare--" TOGETHER: "--our sins in his own body on the tree,
that we being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness:
by whose stripes ye were healed." MORRIS: "Were," yeah.
KENNETH: Now I'm going to ask you something. Is "were" future
tense? No. Is it present tense? No. It's past tense. MORRIS:
Yes. KENNETH: You were healed. When God raised Jesus from the
dead-- MORRIS: Oh, glory to God. KENNETH: --that healing became
available to whosoever will, because Jesus is available to,
"whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have
everlasting life." MORRIS: And you know, even stronger than--or
as strong as that, what was the purpose why God the Father sent
His Son? Remember, Jesus was born of God. KENNETH: Amen.
MORRIS: Now, why did He send Him? He sent Him here--as you so
capably preached the Word, He sent Him here to pay the price--
KENNETH: Amen. MORRIS: --for sin, for salvation, for healing.
That's why we can, 100 percent, claim it because-- KENNETH: Yes.
MORRIS: --He--I John 3:8, "For this purpose the Son of God was
made manifest--" KENNETH: Yes, sir. MORRIS: "--that he might
destroy--" He didn't come here to wound him. He came here to
destroy him. So Jesus destroyed-- TOGETHER: "--the
works of the devil." KENNETH: Yeah. MORRIS: And those works
are-- KENNETH: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. MORRIS: --sin. KENNETH:
Acts 10:38. MORRIS: Yeah. Right. KENNETH: Now, Peter is at
Cornelius' house, the Italian-- MORRIS: Yes. KENNETH: --soldier.
And Peter began to preach. In Verse 36, he said, "The word
which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by
Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all.)" Now, this is what Jesus
preached the whole time He was on the earth. He said, "The
Spirit of the Lord is upon me--" MORRIS: Amen. KENNETH: "--for he
has anointed me to preach. He's anointed me to preach the Gospel
to the poor; he sent me to heal the brokenhearted--" MORRIS:
Uh-huh. KENNETH: "--he sent me to preach deliverance to the
captives, to preach recovery of sight to the blind--" MORRIS:
Hallelujah. KENNETH: "--to set at liberty them that are
bruised, and to preach the acceptable year of the Lord,"
which was supernatural debt cancellation. MORRIS: Yes.
KENNETH: He not only wants you saved and healed, He don't even
want you in debt. Glory to God. MORRIS: Amen. KENNETH: Now,
Jesus is preaching--I mean, Paul--Peter's preaching this.
"That word, you know, which was published throughout all Judaea,
and began in Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;
how--" Listen to me. "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with
the Holy Ghost and power." That's healing power. MORRIS:
Mm. KENNETH: "Who went about doing good, and healing--"
TOGETHER: "--all--" KENNETH: "--that were oppressed of the
devil." MORRIS: All. All. All. KENNETH: And every one of them
was oppressed of the devil. MORRIS: Yes. KENNETH: They
weren't oppressed of God. MORRIS: No. KENNETH: They were
oppressed of the devil, and He healed them. MORRIS: Every one.
KENNETH: Yeah. Except those that wouldn't believe. "Why, Brother
Copeland, Jesus healed--" No. No, wait. No, no. MORRIS: Yeah.
KENNETH: No, no, He didn't. Just hang on, don't get mad at me.
Just hang on. Ha-ha-ha. You go back over to the 6th chapter of
the book of Mark, talking about at His own hometown-- MORRIS:
Mm. KENNETH: --right there in--when He went to preach at
home in Nazareth, they said, "What? This is--you know, this
is--" MORRIS: Carpenter's son. KENNETH: "--this is that
carpenter boy down there." MORRIS: Yeah. KENNETH: "We've
known Him. Why, we know His whole family. We--you know,
who's He think He is--" MORRIS: Mm. KENNETH: "--preaching all
this grace and all this stuff?" "And he could there do no mighty
work--" Didn't say He wouldn't, said He couldn't. MORRIS: Mm.
KENNETH: "--except he laid his hands on a few sick folks, and
healed them. And he marveled because of their unbelief."
MORRIS: Mm-hmm. KENNETH: Now get this. It's big. MORRIS: Yes.
KENNETH: "He went round about the villages, teaching." MORRIS:
Mm. KENNETH: "Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word
of God." MORRIS: Yeah. KENNETH: The cure for unbelief is
teaching. If you're--if you're listening right now, and you've
been having trouble believing this, just listen, because faith
is coming. Faith is coming. No such thing as faith that won't
come. MORRIS: No. KENNETH: But if you'll open your heart and
say, "Lord, I receive mine right now," it's there for you.
MORRIS: Yes. KENNETH: It's there for you. MORRIS: Absolutely.
KENNETH: And it's there for you right now. Isn't that wonderful
news? MORRIS: That is. Praise God. KENNETH: That's the reason
it's called "Gospel." MORRIS: Amen. (Both Laugh) KENNETH: And
you can be--you can be like Dr. Cerullo. You can jump up and run
around the room and get you some new running shoes. Praise God.
Now, I remember just--I'm talking about just a matter of
hours after the Lord healed him and raised him up. He still
looked kind of puny before your--before the--the miracle
was ongoing and just changed his entire countenance and
everything. He didn't wait until he felt all that much better and
all that. He just went and fired that airplane up and headed to
Brazil, brother. MORRIS: That's right. KENNETH: I mean, just
immediately, he went right back out on the road again. And all
85-year-old--years of him went right out back in the--right
back in the field again. And he sent me--he texted me this
little video. And I got so excited. He's standing there in
his jogging suit and talking about how God had healed him.
And I hollered at Gloria. I said, "Look at this! M.C.'s
hitting the road again!" (Laughs) We got so tickled, got
so thrilled, man. MORRIS: Amen. KENNETH: But that's what's
happening right there, and you can have your part of it, too.
MORRIS: Amen. KENNETH: This is something, isn't it? MORRIS:
Yes. It's real. It's real. It's not a figment of our
imagination. KENNETH: No, it isn't. MORRIS: It's not
psychological. It's not mind over matter. It's the same
spirit that raised up Jesus from the dead. KENNETH: Yes, it is.
MORRIS: It dwells in us. And as it does, it quickens our mortal
bodies by the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead. You
know, I love those incredible words in Corinthians, "know ye
not?" And this is the problem. Most of the people lack the
knowledge. And it's like you said. You have to take the Word,
you have to stand on the Word, you have to confess the Word.
But don't we know that our bodies are temples-- KENNETH:
That's right. MORRIS: --of the Holy Spirit? KENNETH: The living
God. MORRIS: It's real. KENNETH: It's real. It is so real. The
great, great preacher, Smith Wigglesworth, oh, my-- MORRIS:
Mm. KENNETH: --that's a man of power. MORRIS: Yeah. KENNETH:
And he would get up every morning. First thing, he would
take communion. And then he'd go look in the mirror. He said,
"That man right there is full of the living God." MORRIS: Oh.
(Both Laugh) KENNETH: Isn't that marvelous? He'd look himself in
the eyes-- MORRIS: Yeah. KENNETH: --and speak the Word of
God over himself. MORRIS: And that's what God's people need to
do. They need to confess what God says they are instead of
what they think they are. KENNETH: What they feel like
they are. MORRIS: Yeah. KENNETH: What they look like they are, or
what somebody else told them what they were. MORRIS: Right.
KENNETH: It's what the Word says about them. MORRIS: Absolutely.
KENNETH: And the Word says we're victorious-- MORRIS: Amen.
KENNETH: --that we're champions. Amen. MORRIS: Amen. KENNETH:
Now, there's something else that Smith Wigglesworth did that will
change the life of any born-again believer. You
remember, in his story, he--he was born in Yorkshire, England.
MORRIS: Right, England. KENNETH: And back there then, there were
no child labor laws and so forth. And he went to work when
he was six years old, and he worked in the plumbing trade.
But the man got born again. And it got so on his heart, it was
so wonderful, that he determined he was going to win somebody to
the Lord every day. He's going to witness to somebody, some way
or other. And that was--that, really, was what he felt like
was his calling. And that's what he set out to do. And he did it.
He had witnessed to somebody that told one story about him,
that he just hadn't found anybody all day to talk to. And
there was a guy driving by in a cart--wagon, he ran up and
jumped on the seat beside him-- MORRIS: Ha-ha-ha. KENNETH: --and
witnessed to him and got him born again before sundown. He
got his man. But now, see, he had that in him. Every believer
ought to have that. MORRIS: You know, Kenneth, when I came out
of the Jewish Orthodox orphanage, I was 15 years of
age. And the woman that brought me the message in the orphanage
that we talked about, I went to live with her in her brother's
home. Now, that was in East Patterson. And Patterson was
where the church was, where I never missed a service, 15 years
of age. I was in every--I couldn't get enough of God.
KENNETH: Praise God. MORRIS: So I would hitchhike--I wouldn't
let anybody drive me home. I would hitchhike 15, 16 years of
age, so I could get in the car-- KENNETH: Yeah? MORRIS: --and
lead somebody to Jesus. (Kenneth Laughs) I led a Roman Catholic
priest one night to Jesus. KENNETH: Praise God. Hallelujah.
MORRIS: It's exactly what you're talking about. KENNETH: Yes.
It's--and look what it-- MORRIS: Yeah. KENNETH: --and there's a
confidence that comes from that. MORRIS: Yes. KENNETH: Most of
the people in the sound of our voice right now that stop, just
think about that, there's almost instantly a fear of rejection.
MORRIS: Mm. KENNETH: People are afraid to be--they're going to
be turned down. MORRIS: Yeah. KENNETH: I never have--one time,
I got--one time, I was turned down. But let me tell you how it
took place. I was holding a meeting in a casino in Las
Vegas. And the owner of the hotel had gotten born again. And
it was Wayne Cochran, the old rock-and-roll singer-- MORRIS:
Yeah. Yeah. KENNETH: --that had gotten saved, who was a friend
of mine. And he led--he played in that hotel for a long time.
Well, he went back and got the owner of the hotel born again.
Well, he came to Wayne. He said, "I've got to do something for
God, Wayne." He said, "My heart's on fire." He said, "Do
you think Brother Copeland would come here and hold a meeting?"
So Wayne called me. I said, "Are you kidding? I'm on my way."
(Laughs) So we just had a fabulous meeting in the theater
in that--in that casino. Well, one night, I'm walking through,
headed to the--to the meeting room. And the--I heard the Lord
say, "Witness to that couple walking towards you." And He
told me what to say to them. I said, "Okay." So I said, "Excuse
me, sir?" Very well-dressed people. I said, "I'm--I feel
like that I have something from--that the Lord, He would
have me to say to you, if that's all right. May I have permission
to speak?" He said, "Sure." So I told him. He said--well, he
didn't refuse me. He just said, "Okay. Thank you," and just
walked off. And, you know, I thought, "Well, that's kind of
different." And so--but before I could get away, here was a guy
standing there, (Slurring), leaning up against the wall. He
was so drunk. He said, "Hey. I heard what you said. Will you
pray for me?" I said, "Yeah, I'll pray--" M.C., he was so
drunk, he just--if he'd have let go of the wall, he'd have just
fallen on the floor. He said, (Slurring) "Let's go in here."
So we went in the men's room. He said, "Pray for me." So I laid
my hands on him and began to pray. Man, the power of God came
in there. And all of a sudden, he straightened up. And by the
time I got through praying, he was--he was stone cold sober.
MORRIS: Mm. KENNETH: And lifted both hands and began-- MORRIS:
Hallelujah. KENNETH: --to worship God. MORRIS: Hallelujah.
KENNETH: "My God, man," he said, "thank you. I'm a back-slid
Pentecostal preacher." MORRIS: Wow. KENNETH: The glory of God
got all over me right now. MORRIS: Yeah. KENNETH: Amen. So
see, I wasn't actually turned down. I was accepted. I just--I
just was talking to him through these other people. MORRIS: But
God was in control. That's the thing. KENNETH: Oh, that's the
key to the whole business. MORRIS: Yes. KENNETH: If you
will listen and speak to whomever He says speak to, I'm
telling you, miracles happen. MORRIS: Amen. KENNETH: The
street miracles are easier to get than the church miracles.
I've noticed that over the--over the years. I know you have, too.
MORRIS: Yes. KENNETH: Amen. MORRIS: There's a day that we're
living in. I call it "breakthrough." God wants to
give His people a supernatural breakthrough. It's when we
experience a breakthrough that we pass and cross over the line
from the natural into the supernatural. KENNETH: Oh, yes.
Amen. MORRIS: The word "breakthrough" --and, you know,
I've learned, when I was a little boy, when God was my
teacher and He taught me, He said, "Son, all truth is
parallel. Watch what happens in the natural world." KENNETH:
Mm-hmm. MORRIS: I saw technology. I saw everything in
the natural world advance like it never did before. But you
know what happened? It's like Edison. Edison invented light.
Okay? But he failed for 20 or 30 years of his life. Until one
day, he got a breakthrough, advanced knowledge, advanced
information. He broke through. It came to him. And when it did,
he got the secrets to what he needed to produce light.
KENNETH: My, my, my. MORRIS: Well, I believe that the church
is in the season of breakthrough. KENNETH: I do,
too. I know it with every fiber of my being. MORRIS: We're
getting advanced knowledge. We're crossing over. We're
getting information, spirit information, we never
experienced before. And that is giving us the ability to break
through the line of resistance. KENNETH: Amen. MORRIS: The line
of resistance, it holds us back. It's Satan, his principalities,
his powers, his spiritual wickednesses. But no more--
KENNETH: No more. MORRIS: --because we're getting the
information that we need. KENNETH: Let's take it up
tomorrow right here. MORRIS: Okay. KENNETH: I want you--God's
been dealing with you supernaturally over this. And as
a prophet of God, He's shown it to you. MORRIS: Yes.
KENNETH: And so let's start with this on
tomorrow's broadcast. MORRIS: Amen. Amen. KENNETH:
Dr. Cerullo and I will be back in just a moment.
