Hissatsu attacks are powerful, but when used, Ki'ai will become zero.

Ki'ai can be gained by resting (ため) as shown. Also, when damage is received, it will rise.

Since there is freedom of sequence of actions, one may perfrom movement first and then attack or attack first and then movement.

[Michael] Rogers, made a journey to the Trump Tower shortly after Trump had won.

And in the immediate aftermath of his visit, Jim Clapper and others in the intelligence

community called for him to be fired.

My understanding is that it was to cover himself, because he was aware that the NSA authorities

had been misused and abused with respect to Donald Trump.�

SAIGON DAY 7: Zoo & Botanical Gardens - Duration: 2:46.

So on this day, Johnny took me to see the City Zoo and Botanical Gardens.

And I have to be pretty honest and say that I don't actually like zoos that much.

But I did find this one pretty interesting,

because there was the Botanical Gardens portion. So there were...

greenhouses and different displays just filled with

beautiful kinds of different flowers.

Even on the parts that weren't technically the botanical garden, there was

really nice landscaping, trees, and displays to look at.

And it was kind of cool because there were families there,

not even looking at the animals. Just enjoying the park with picnic baskets and hammocks,

and stuff like that. And we went around the new year time.

So it was even a livelier place than normal.

So after walking around for a while, we went into this building with

preserved plant specimens and preserved animal specimens, and

taxidermy with models of Vietnam's different habitats.

We initially went in there pretty much just because it had air conditioning,

but we went in and there was this... scary looking tiger there.

That was scary because it didn't really look like a tiger, and

that ended up being what stuck out the most in my mind when we left.

I wouldn't say the park is that big, but there's a lot of

winding paths and a lot—like,a lot— of little things to see.

And so it's... I think if you don't go during the hottest part of the day,

it's like a really nice time to just spend outside.

Especially with the City Museum next door. It's centrally located in Saigon,

about 5-10 minutes' ride from Ben Thanh Market.

I think it's a pretty nice way to spend a chunk of the afternoon.

Manchester By The Sea (Best Picture Nominee) -- Movie Review #JPMN - Duration: 1:38.

A sobering look at life and death.

Written and directed by Kenneth Lonegran, this $8.5 million dollar drama film did surprisingly

well following its wide release in December 2016 - receiving widespread critical acclaim,

and $60 million in ticket sales.

When his brother dies suddenly, Casey Affleck is asked to take care of his teenage nephew,

Lucas Hedges.

Set against the backdrop of its drab, wintertime setting in the titular New England town, the

two-hour and seventeen minute feature is carefully photographed with long takes and waist-high

wide shots.

There's nothing showy or artistic about the treatment; as Lonegran allows his cast to

deliver their tearful and restrained monologues without hindrance or artifice.

"Manchester By The Sea" impresses thanks to these raw performances; especially Affleck's

challenging role.

This is a character that has experienced unthinkable tragedy, who has resigned himself to lifelong

depression by confessing, "I can't beat it.

I can't beat it."

Opposite, the young Hedges is a breakout talent, exhibiting glimpses of real understanding.

In addition to the brilliant work from Michelle Williams, three of the R-rated movie's six

Academy Award nominations were for acting.

This film is not uplifting or even enjoyable... but somehow still necessary and relatable.

Anyone who's ever experienced a loss will be able to connect to the movie's cold and

resigned approach to death.

"Manchester By The Sea" is a heartbreaking drama thanks to understated performances.

Not exactly one I'm eager to revisit, I still thought it was very GREAT.

SAIGON DAY 7: Zoo & Botanical Gardens - Duration: 2:46.

So on this day, Johnny took me to see the City Zoo and Botanical Gardens.

And I have to be pretty honest and say that I don't actually like zoos that much.

But I did find this one pretty interesting,

because there was the Botanical Gardens portion. So there were...

greenhouses and different displays just filled with

beautiful kinds of different flowers.

Even on the parts that weren't technically the botanical garden, there was

really nice landscaping, trees, and displays to look at.

And it was kind of cool because there were families there,

not even looking at the animals. Just enjoying the park with picnic baskets and hammocks,

and stuff like that. And we went around the new year time.

So it was even a livelier place than normal.

So after walking around for a while, we went into this building with

preserved plant specimens and preserved animal specimens, and

taxidermy with models of Vietnam's different habitats.

We initially went in there pretty much just because it had air conditioning,

but we went in and there was this... scary looking tiger there.

That was scary because it didn't really look like a tiger, and

that ended up being what stuck out the most in my mind when we left.

I wouldn't say the park is that big, but there's a lot of

winding paths and a lot—like,a lot— of little things to see.

And so it's... I think if you don't go during the hottest part of the day,

it's like a really nice time to just spend outside.

Especially with the City Museum next door. It's centrally located in Saigon,

about 5-10 minutes' ride from Ben Thanh Market.

When his brother dies suddenly, Casey Affleck is asked to take care of his teenage nephew,

Lucas Hedges.

Set against the backdrop of its drab, wintertime setting in the titular New England town, the

two-hour and seventeen minute feature is carefully photographed with long takes and waist-high

wide shots.

There's nothing showy or artistic about the treatment; as Lonegran allows his cast to

deliver their tearful and restrained monologues without hindrance or artifice.

"Manchester By The Sea" impresses thanks to these raw performances; especially Affleck's

challenging role.

This is a character that has experienced unthinkable tragedy, who has resigned himself to lifelong

depression by confessing, "I can't beat it.

I can't beat it."

Opposite, the young Hedges is a breakout talent, exhibiting glimpses of real understanding.

In addition to the brilliant work from Michelle Williams, three of the R-rated movie's six

Academy Award nominations were for acting.

This film is not uplifting or even enjoyable... but somehow still necessary and relatable.

Anyone who's ever experienced a loss will be able to connect to the movie's cold and

if it�s not necessary. But a businessman has no problem with the idea at all.

How to Go Home Early from School || Substitute Story #2 Revisited - Duration: 4:57.

Today I'm going to teach you one way how to get sent home from school.

And I'm going to do it with a real-life story.

Welcome back to CapOhTV, the channel where we know school is a joke and you don't want

to be the punchline.

This video is a bit of a throwback to an older video that I did in my sub story series.

Substitute stories, that is.

Where I told the tale of when I helped a student go home from school early by pretending that

he was sick.

And it's got a ridiculous thumbnail drawn in MS Paint with a kid vomiting everywhere.

And what also is in that video is a whole bunch of cringe.

See, back when I started this channel, I didn't really have a direction.

I was just kind of making videos here and there about whatever I wanted.

And in this video, as you can probably see by the clips I'm showing, I used action figures

and I used voice overs.

Listen to this.

"That way you only have to tell one lie instead of coming up with twenty."

"And they won't have to get a janitor."

"And they won't give you too much hassle about other signs and symptons."

"Yeah, how can they tell whether I have a headache or not!"

WHAT WAS I THINKING?!

Looking back, it's pretty funny that that is what I posted online.

But the point of this video is I want to revisit that idea of how to get sent home from school.

Because in my older video it wasn't really clear, you have to watch the whole thing and

kind of piece things together.

I didn't understand the idea of getting to the point.

Which I guess in this video I haven't really gotten to the point quick enough.

Let's get to the point right now: how to get sent home from school.

Now in this story I was substituting in, I think, it was a music class.

It was the middle of the day, everyone was done lunch, and they were coming in the class.

I was trying to take attendance early, before the bell rings, I like to do that, get it

out of the way, when at the door I heard this one kid talking

to one of his friends say, "Oh, man, I feel like I want to go home.

Yeah, I'm just going to go tell the nurse that I threw up in the bathroom."

I overheard that and they went on trying to figure out how to get sent home and I was

still doing the attendance and whatnot.

So this kid comes up to me and says, "Ooohh, man, uughh, I need a pass to the nurse."

And I asked him, "Are you going to go tell her that you threw up in the bathroom?"

And he said, "Yeah, how'd you know that?"

I've got ears, you dummy!

Here's what I told this kid, how to get sent home from school:

You cannot pretend that were actually sick, as in vomiting.

That's something that people can see, that's something that when you go to the nurse, they're

going to say, "Oh, no, what bathroom was that in?

We have to go clean that up!"

They're going to send someone to the bathroom, they're going to see nothing, they're going

to know you're faking it.

And there's a lot of other videos here on YouTube about how to fake sick to go home

from school or to stay home from school or something like that.

You know, though, it doesn't have to be elaborate!

Here's what you have to do: you have to pretend to be sick with something that they can't

prove you wrong about.

Like a really bad headache, something that doesn't have symptoms that can be measured.

And that's what I told this kid in the music class.

But first I asked him, "Do you have someone that can come pick you up?"

Because this whole thing doesn't work if you have no way to actually leave the school building.

And he said that he did.

He said if his mom couldn't come, then his grandmom would.

They're always available.

So I said, "Okay, this might work.

Then all you have to do is go to the nurse, tell her you have a really bad headache and

you're sensitive to light and you can't focus in class and you think you should just go

home and rest for a little bit."

So I wrote him the pass to go to the nurse and a few minutes later he came back.

It worked!

Of course it worked because I'm not stupid like you were.

If you're going to try to get sent home sick or if you're going to try to get sent home

from school, you can do it a couple of ways.

You can fake being sick with something that they can't prove wrong, like a headache, because

there's no outward symptoms of a headache, they can't take your temperature or anything

and say, "Oh, yeah, you have a headache" or "Oh, no, you don't have a headache, you're

faking it you faker!"

You have to do that, you have to make sure someone can come pick you up, and you can't

overuse that story.

Another way to get sent home is to start a fight in the lunchroom and then get arrested

and, you know, go through that whole process.

But I don't recommend that.

Remember, this video only wants to show you the one way how to get sent home from school

and that is to fake being sick with something they can't detect.

Now maybe with this video and the older video about how to get sent home from school we'll

get more people out of school and into the world spreading the message that school is

a joke and you don't want to be the punchline.

How To Create a Realistic Chalk Lettering Effect - Duration: 9:52.

Hello everyone this is Chris from Spoon Graphics

back with another video tutorial.

Today we're going to take a look at creating a chalk lettering effect, just like the trendy

menus you see in bars and cafes, or the quote murals all over Pinterest.

I don't know about you, but I don't have a massive blackboard, a pack of chalk, or the

skills to create a hand lettered mural by hand, but we can make use of other tools both

on and offline to produce a realistic chalk based design.

Spoiler alert!

We end up using pencil and paper to make this effect, so if you were looking for a quick

Photoshop based technique, unfortunately this isn't the video for you.

However, if you want to produce an authentic looking effect and you don't mind putting

in some manual work, this process will achieve the best results...

Other than actually drawing your artwork with chalk in the first place!

We'll use the digital power of Adobe Illustrator to plan out our typographic quote design with

fonts, which allows us to experiment and move elements around, which isn't something you

can do with chalk, without rubbing it out and starting again.

To achieve the most realistic effect possible, we'll then make use of some analogue tools

to capture the natural irregularities of hand made art.

So begin by opening up Adobe Illustrator and create a new document.

I'm going for an A4 layout since we use metric paper formats over here, but choose Letter

if that's the size of paper in your printer.

If you browse Pinterest for some chalk lettering inspiration, you'll notice they often use

a range of type styles, including serif, sans-serif and slab-serif fonts.

Pick out a collection to work with from your font library and set them out with the Type

tool in some empty space around the artboard.

The fonts that I'm using are all new to my collection from a recent Design Cuts deal

I picked up.

If you follow my newsletter you might have even picked it up yourself, otherwise any

typeface choices will do.

Select the best weights and styles for each of your fonts.

Geometric sans-serif typefaces in particular also work well with high tracking to space

out the letters.

As well as a collection of fonts, we also need a passage of text to work with.

This might be a menu, song lyrics, or a famous quote like the one I'm using that reads "Success

is no accident.

It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you

are doing or learning to do"...

Except I've shortened it slightly by chopping off the last line.

Using the Selection tool, hold the ALT key and drag a copy of one of your fonts onto

the main artboard.

Change its wording to the first portion of your quote and scale it to size.

Click the Envelope Distort icon in the top toolbar to apply an effect.

Choose Arc Lower from the menu and change the Bend to -20%.

Since this design is trying to mimic hand drawn artwork, we an get away with stretching

the text out of shape to better suit the composition.

Drag a different font element from your selection and edit the wording to continue the quote.

Select both text elements but give the first an extra click to make it the key object.

Click the Horizontal Align Centre option from the Align panel to centre them up.

The line tool can be used to add a simple embellishment to fill out some space.

Switch the default black fill to a stroke, then hold the Shift tool while dragging from

one point to another.

Configure the stroke settings to 3pt with the round cap option.

ALT and drag a copy of this line across to the other side, also holding Shift to restrain

the angle.

Shift+Click the original, then right click and select Group.

Add the text to the selection with the Shift key, then give the text element a second click

to make it the key object.

Align the group of lines to the text with the Horizontal Align Centre button.

Make a copy of a different font to continue to the next portion of the quote.

Scale up the text to match the width of the design so far.

To make sure everything is scaled accurately, press CMD+R to turn on Rulers, then drag out

guides to reflect the edges of the type.

Continue fleshing out your quote design with a range of fonts.

You can add some visual interest with further envelope distorts.

Apply an Arc Lower effect to one element with 20% bend, then an Arc Upper effect with -20%

bend so they fit together when stacked on top of each other.

Unlike when working with real chalk, you can use the power of digital design software to

scale and move elements around to find the perfect composition.

Another simple embellishment can be created with the Stroke panel.

Draw a dividing line across the artboard, then configure it with a black stroke with

round cap ends.

Check the Dashed Line option and enter zero for the dash but around 15pt gap, then increase

the stroke weight to produce a series of evenly spaced dots.

Groups of elements can also be distorted with an Envelope Distort, but when adding it to

solid objects, you'll find the option under the Object > Envelope Distort > Make with

Warp menu.

Once your quote is fully laid out, refine the composition by scaling and nudging elements

so it all fits onto the page.

Real chalk lettering pieces often have vintage style effects applied to the text itself.

We can replicate this in Adobe Illustrator with some simple adjustments.

Select the first type element and go to Object > Expand to permanently apply the Envelope

Distort effect.

Then head to Object > Path > Offset Path.

Configure the settings into the minus figures while watching the preview to see an inner

outline within the letter shapes.

Change the fill colour of these new inner shapes to white, then use the shortcuts CMD+C

and CMD+F to copy and paste in front a duplicate.

Under the Swatch panel, choose Open Swatch Library > Patterns > Basic Graphics > Basic

Graphics Lines.

Choose one of the horizontal line patterns to fill these inner shapes with an interesting

vintage style effect.

These line patterns can also be used to create a drop shadow effect.

Select another text element and press CMD+C then CMD+B to Paste in Back.

Nudge it down and to the right slightly, then change the fill to a line pattern.

To change the direction of the lines, go to Object > Transform > Rotate.

Then uncheck the Transform Objects option, leaving the rotation effect being just applied

to the pattern fill.

Alter the angle to -45 degrees.

Continue adding these finishing touches to the other type elements within the layout.

Once you're done, draw a selection around everything and reduce the opacity to around

10%.

Hit CMD+P to print it out.

So far we've used digital design software to help lay out a cool typography composition.

To create a realistic and authentic looking hand made appearance, we need to separate

ourselves from the computer and venture into real life!

To continue with the next step we need to find a primitive tool used by early mankind

known as a Pencil.

We'll use it to trace the print out and combine the hand made look with the precision of the

digitally made type design.

Whilst this step does take a long time, and will probably induce finger cramps and repetitive

strain injury, it's the natural scribbles that gives the final effect an authentic appearance,

since this is the exact same way those chalk murals are created, with the exception that

it's chalk rather than graphite.

You'll also want to keep a pencil sharpener to hand to replenish the tip after a bout

of scribbling before outlining the next word.

This is the stage where you'll wish you never bothered adding all those fancy and intricate

text effects that you now have to tediously trace by hand!

When the artwork has been completely traced, pop it in the scanner then we'll teleport

back into the grid.

Download a blackboard texture, like this one I picked up from DeviantArt.

A link is down in the description area.

Open it into Adobe Photoshop, where we'll work for the remainder of this tutorial.

Use the shortcut CMD+J to duplicate the layer twice.

Turn off the top layer and select the first copy.

Go to Filter > Blur > Average.

Turn on the top layer and go to Filter > Other > High Pass.

Enter 200px then change the layers blending mode to Overlay.

Shift Click the layer below it then press CMD+E to merge them together.

Toggle this layer on and off to see the difference this equalization step made to the texture.

Usually chalk murals are seen on a black background, so add a Black and White adjustment layer

to remove the green hue.

Go to Image > Image Rotation > 90 degrees Clockwise to reformat the canvas to suit the

layout of the type quote.

To darken the blackboard background, add a new layer, fill it with black with the CMD+Backspace

shortcut then change the blending mode to Overlay.

Drag this layer underneath the Black and White adjustment layer.

Open the scanned image into Photoshop and rotate it to the right way up if necessary.

Use the Crop tool to trim it down, then Copy and Paste it into the blackboard document

and scale it to size.

Head to Image > Adjustments > Invert, then change the blending mode to Screen, which

will render the now black background transparent.

Use the shortcut CMD+L to adjust the levels.

Drag the highlights slider towards the left to brighten the text to further replicate

a chalked appearance.

The irregularities and the texture created by tracing the text by hand with a pencil

perfectly replicates how the artwork would have been drawn with chalk, which beats any

digital effect we could have tried to create directly in Photoshop.

It was quite a tedious process, but I think the result is definitely worth it.

So we get to see these people acting insane and looking like they have a mental illness, which is a real life issue.

I also like how they included a diverse group of people instead of just having all koreans in the video

So with the diverse group ethnicity it helps portray that it doesn't matter what kind color you are

Everyone* suffers from same issues like depression, anixety, mental disorders, insanity and stuff like that.

So when they sing "wake me up" I believe it helps tell us that these people are living in a nightmare

and they want to be woken up in a way to come back to reality.

Despite taking all of these pills and medicine, its not helping.

So the message I believe is to tell us society is that they're being brained washed to these people with more "shit" chemicals to these patients they would maybe eventually kill them.

There's Going to Be a New Star in the Sky - Duration: 5:24.

Earlier this year, a group of astronomers announced that the light from a pair of colliding

stars is going to show up in the night sky in 2021 or 2022.

We usually think of astronomical events as taking thousands or even millions of years

to happen, so it's kind of weird to imagine something so sudden and extreme happening

in less than a decade.

But between things like comets and supernovas, humans were seeing sudden, surprising changes

in the sky long before telescopes were invented.

And if you could watch it for long enough — like, a few thousand years — you'd

even see the sky itself change before your eyes.

Comets are probably the night sky's most famous intruders.

These days, we know that comets are icy worlds from the outer solar system that are heated

by the Sun until the ice turns directly into gas.

But to ancient people from around the world, the brilliant tail of a comet stretching across

the night sky disrupted the perfectly orderly heavens.

People thought that comets forecasted a similar sort of disruption down here on Earth, so

they sometimes started wars and invaded other countries.

Like when what we now call Halley's Comet streaked across the sky in 1066, and William

the Conqueror took it as a sign that it was time to invade England.

But comets aren't the only things that have caused sudden changes to the night sky.

Sometimes, things that look like new stars appear out of nowhere, stay for a little while,

and then disappear back into the darkness.

Our first record of this happening comes from Chinese astrologers in 185 CE, who noticed

what they called a "guest star" in the winter sky that slowly dimmed over the next

few months.

They didn't know it, but they weren't seeing a star being /born/ that winter.

They were seeing one die.

When large stars run out of fuel, they go supernova, giving off as much light in a single

explosion as our Sun will over its entire ten billion-year lifetime.

And if a supernova is close enough to Earth, the giant, glowing cloud of gas it gives off

can show up in our sky and temporarily look like a new star.

Some of the brightest supernovas ever recorded were hundreds of times brighter than the brightest

stars and stayed in the sky for years — even showing up during the day!

People from all over the world recorded seeing these sorts of bright new stars in the sky,

from detailed writings in Europe and Asia to stone carvings in the American southwest.

And using all these detailed records, modern astronomers have actually been able to find

the remains of a lot of the supernovas people have seen throughout history.

Like the guest star that people around the world saw in 1054, which turned into what

we now call the Crab Nebula.

But not all changes to the night sky have been as sudden as a comet or supernova.

It's also changed more gradually.

Earth's seasons depend on the tilt between its orbit around the Sun and the axis that

it spins around every day.

And that tilt slowly wobbles, pointing the planet in different directions over time.

Which means that the summer constellations of ancient Greece are now about a month closer to spring.

And the patterns of stars in the sky aren't even constant.

Groups of stars might look close together, but in space they can actually be hundreds

of light-years apart.

And since different stars move in different directions at different speeds, the way they're

arranged in the sky has changed over time.

So when humans were first leaving Africa fifty or sixty thousand years ago, the stars in

the bowl of the Big Dipper were a lot closer to a square, and the handle looked more like

a straight line.

And for those of you in the Southern Hemisphere, the Southern Cross used to be a lot more stretched

out and lopsided.

The stars in the sky will keep moving around, and you might not even recognize the sky 50,000

years from now.

But if you don't want to wait millennia for constellations to change, or centuries

for a supernova, or even fifty years for Halley's Comet, all you have to do is look up at the

sky in four or five years.

Because the light from that pair of colliding stars is on its way here.

The stars are 1,842 light-years from Earth, which means that it takes the light from them

1,842 years to get here.

So we don't see them as they are now — we see them as they were 1,842 years ago.

And right now, they look like what's called a contact binary: they're orbiting each

other so close together that their atmospheres actually touch.

Astronomers have watched their orbits get faster and faster over the last few years,

which means that the stars are getting closer and closer together.

And based on what happened last time they saw something like this happen, the researchers

are predicting that we should see the light from those stars colliding in about four or

five years.

Even though the stars are too dim to see with the naked eye right now, that won't be true

for long.

Because the explosion from the merger should be about ten thousand times brighter than

the stars themselves.

And if the light from the explosion reaches Earth close to when it's summer in the Northern

Hemisphere, it should look like a bright new star in the night sky near the constellation Cygnus.

The stars are far enough away that we don't have to worry about any effects from the explosion

— it won't even be the brightest star in the sky, though it will be one of the brightest.

We've seen this sort of collision happen so few times that we don't even know how

long it'll be in the sky.

But it'll be a cool reminder that the sky is always changing.

We Need To Worried About Our Fox News President - Duration: 4:29.

President Trump tweeted out Tuesday morning that Barack Obama had released 122 prisoners

from Guantanamo Bay and that those prisoners made their way back onto the battlefields

overseas and the Middle East and began killing American soldiers.

Now before we get into why it's important that he said that, let's dissect this for

a minute because of those 122, George W. Bush, the Republican, actually released 113 of those,

and so far, we really don't know of that many, certainly not all of them who have "returned

to the battlefield to begin killing American citizens."

Here is why Donald Trump's tweet is so important.

It's from where he got that information.

He got that information, those numbers, the idea of that tweet from Fox & Friends on Tuesday

morning.

We have a sitting U.S. President who is literally getting his foreign policy and current event

news from Fox News.

If you want to talk about fake news, Fox News is sitting there in the throne as the king

of fake news, have been for two decades now.

For 20 years, they have been the least reliable cable news source in the United States.

Study after study shows that Fox News viewers are the least informed out of all cable news

viewers, and it's dangerous when it's the public.

It's deadly when it's the President because we've already seen what happens when he made

his last night in Sweden comments, and now here he is repeating these false claims that

Barack Obama released a bunch of murderers to the Middle East and now they're killing

U.S. citizens.

That's not true.

Obama didn't do that, and the majority of them were not over there killing U.S. citizens,

you idiot, but the folks at Fox & Friends, the folks at Fox News, they don't care.

Their base, the Republican base is built on fear.

That's all they know how to do is be afraid of shit.

That's why they say these things.

That's why they spread these lies because it keeps their viewers entertained.

It keeps their eyeballs glued to the television.

What do I need to be afraid of today?

What's going to try and come kill me because I'm living in a perpetual state of fear?

Again, dangerous when it's the public.

Deadly for the American people when it's the sitting President of the United States doing

this, and that's what we have today.

Donald Trump is getting his information about the way the world operates from Fox News,

and if that doesn't scare you, then you're not paying enough attention to what's happening

in the United States today.

Fox News has always been dangerous, but now that they have a President who blindly believes

every single thing they say, that's putting us all in danger.

If Donald Trump honestly believed that these people were released from Guantanamo Bay by

Barack Obama to go back overseas and start killing American citizens, then what's to

stop him from launching a massive airstrike over there, huh?

This is faulty, fake information that could result in a disastrous military action.

We already saw what happened when CNN began propping up the Bush administration's claims

about WMDs in Iraq.

They pushed that war.

Fox News is pushing for more conflict in the Middle East, and unfortunately, the President,

who doesn't have a mind of his own, is willing to believe anything that those idiots on that

Fox & Friends couch spit out every morning, and he's getting on Twitter and telling all

of his idiotic followers about this.

He is selling the Fox News lies.

Fox News at this point is more of a President of the United States than Donald Trump is,

and I know that Donald Trump wouldn't appreciate anybody saying that so maybe that's where

we take it from here.

If we want to get the President to stop paying attention to Fox News, let's start saying

that they're the President.

It worked with Steve Bannon.

How to Get Over Your Ex - Duration: 4:18.

Hello my friends! Kaitlyn here!

And let's talk about that most uncomfortable subject.

Our exes!

(INTRO MUSIC)

So whether or not you dated this person 2 minutes ago or 2 years ago, exes have a way of getting

under our skin.

Even if we're with someone else and we love that person and we're not even

attracted to our ex anymore.

If you're like me, you're always a little competitive.

Like, well I have to make sure my love life and career is progressing better than his!

I must win!

But there's not really a competition.

There's nothing for me to win.

It's just me being weird and holding on something that's not healthy.

You see I can step back, and look at it objectively and say, "My ex is doing well in life.

I'm doing well in life.

This is great!

This is a person that I cared deeply for.

And it didn't work out.

But I still want them to be happy."

And then my life Gollum personality is all "No!

We wants it for ourselves!

He cant's be happy!

We's are the only ones who can be happy!"

Do you ever have moments like this?

Yeah…

I'll tell you a secret.

I don't think we really ever get over our exes.

For ones that we deeply cared about and relationships that we were immensely committed to, it's not

like you can just flip a switch and be say, "Hey! We're friends now! I feel absolutely nothing for you!"

It's like that saying "If you can still be friends after you break up, you either were

never in love, or you still have feelings for one another.

Now this doesn't mean you can't be civil.

Being a decent human being to one another is part of being a mature person.

But you gotta admit, if you're still hanging around like nothing happened then it does lend

itself to the conclusion that you're either looking to get back together or you're not

really as hurt by the breakup because you weren't as emotionally invested in the relationship

as you thought.

Our brains our weird with all the love chemicals.

So, the question is: what do you do to get over your ex?

Honestly, putting as much distance between you and them as possible.

Sometimes this seems impossible because you work together or go to school together or

have the same friend group.

To cause the least drama as possible in these situations, you have to take care of you.

Being civil, remember?

Not gossiping or trying to turn your friends against your ex.

But stepping as far away as possible.

And honestly, I have not always been super successful with this.

Which has lead to numerous instances of getting back with an ex which ultimately turned out to be a mistake.

So should you jump into a new relationship to forget about that person?

Eh...no.

It can be surprisingly easy to do sometimes.

Like someone you've friendzoned has been waiting in the wings and jumps at the

chance to be with you.

But that's not a recipe for a good relationship. Nope! Never!

I have done this.

And I can tell you from experience that those relationships lasted a very short period of time and usually

ended with tears on both parts when I just sort of woke up and realized that

this wasn't actually what I wanted.

So should you like, cut your hair?

Or quit your job?

Or drop out of school to get away from them?

While a fresh and drastic haircut after a breakup can feel rather cathartic.

It is not going to make you a different person.

It's not going to bring your ex back.

And it's not going to "show them" how liberated you are.

Making drastic changes to yourself or your life to try to get the attention of your ex

only hurts you.

Only do the things that feel good or make you excited.

Or what you want.

And sometimes it can be a little hard to figure out which is which when in the throes of rejection.

So maybe if you're thinking of getting a tattoo, you know, wait a few weeks and see how you feel then.

You don't want to end up with an "I Love Ryan!" tattoo on your chest when you're never getting back with Ryan.

And that's if you were with Ryan to begin with….

So getting over an ex is HARD.

It is no joke!

But you can do it!

It's gonna take time.

Sometimes years.

But it does get better.

You think about them less and less.

Your life gets filled up with new and interesting things.

And one day, you'll realize you haven't thought about that ex in weeks or months.

And it will be a happy day.

Manchester By The Sea (Best Picture Nominee) -- Movie Review #JPMN - Duration: 1:38.

A sobering look at life and death.

Written and directed by Kenneth Lonegran, this $8.5 million dollar drama film did surprisingly

well following its wide release in December 2016 - receiving widespread critical acclaim,

and $60 million in ticket sales.

When his brother dies suddenly, Casey Affleck is asked to take care of his teenage nephew,

Lucas Hedges.

Set against the backdrop of its drab, wintertime setting in the titular New England town, the

two-hour and seventeen minute feature is carefully photographed with long takes and waist-high

wide shots.

There's nothing showy or artistic about the treatment; as Lonegran allows his cast to

deliver their tearful and restrained monologues without hindrance or artifice.

"Manchester By The Sea" impresses thanks to these raw performances; especially Affleck's

challenging role.

This is a character that has experienced unthinkable tragedy, who has resigned himself to lifelong

depression by confessing, "I can't beat it.

I can't beat it."

Opposite, the young Hedges is a breakout talent, exhibiting glimpses of real understanding.

In addition to the brilliant work from Michelle Williams, three of the R-rated movie's six

Academy Award nominations were for acting.

This film is not uplifting or even enjoyable... but somehow still necessary and relatable.

Anyone who's ever experienced a loss will be able to connect to the movie's cold and

resigned approach to death.

"Manchester By The Sea" is a heartbreaking drama thanks to understated performances.

Not exactly one I'm eager to revisit, I still thought it was very GREAT.
