Youtube daily report w Jun 23 2017

With a new Galaxy out in April and the next iPhone supposedly on the way this year, you're

all wondering which has the best features for the money.

That is, does Samsung or Apple offer the most bang -- or swipe -- for your buck?

In this episode of The Infographics Show, we're comparing the Samsung Galaxy versus

the Apple iPhone.

Don't forget to subscribe and click the bell button so that you can be part of our

Notification Squad.

The most recent version of each is the S8 or S8 Plus for the Galaxy and the 7 or 7 Plus

for the iPhone.

The Galaxy, released April 21st, runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system while

the iPhone, released last September, is on iOS10.

Both have great cameras and built-in features, are water-resistant, and have biometric features

– that is, they recognize your fingerprint, though the S8's is reportedly tricky.

For the S8 release, Samsung ran a promotion to capture the growing virtual reality customer

base by throwing in the latest Gear VR and controller and an Oculus game pack for those

who pre-ordered starting March 30th.

And included in the box with every Galaxy, irrespective of order date, are AKG earbuds

in the box, valued at $99.

Score one for Galaxy there, because Apple eliminated the headphone jack in both the

7 and 7 Plus, forcing users to switch to wireless earbuds, called Air Pods, rendering the collection

of earbuds we've all accumulated over the years obsolete.

Reviewers rated the wireless functionality highly while the actual sound quality got

mixed reviews.

Before we get to aesthetics, what's inside?

The U.S. version of the Samsung S8 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor while the international

version has a Samsung Exynos 8895.

The Snapdragon 835 is a big deal because, in short, it's smaller but does more, faster

than the last top processor, the Snapdragon 821.

And, because of Qualcomm's partnership with Samsung, you can only get that processor in

a Samsung Galaxy S8, providing a major selling point for the phone.

In practical terms, a smaller processor means more efficient operation and phone designers

have more freedom to build something ultra slim, or structure internal components without

working around a large processor.

a big plus - it also uses less battery life..

In a comparison with Apple's A10, the tech review website TrustedReviews.com found that

the A10 - that is, the iPhone 7 - just edged the Snapdragon 835 in a benchmark test of

mixed-processor intensive tasks.

However, in the 3D graphics score, which predicts how well the phone will do on gaming tasks,

the Snapdragon was 25 percent higher than the A10.

While benchmark tests don't always translate to real world application, a difference like

that suggests a major leg up for Samsung with the gamers, in addition to the VR bundles

for order with the S8.

Its graphics processing unit, or GPU, from Qualcomm, is an Adreno 540, while Apple used

a PowerVR GT7600 GPU.

The Galaxy S8 also takes the RAM competition, with 4 gigabytes, as the iPhone 7 has just

2, or 3 on the 7 Plus.

Well, it sort of takes the RAM competition.

RAM means memory, that is, what hangs on to what you've recently been doing on the phone.

More RAM or memory allows you to multitask or get back into a recent app more quickly.

So while both RAM and processor are related to speed, they are distinct.

However, while the Galaxy S8 has more RAM, iOS is more efficient and doesn't need more

RAM to function equally.

That's why the Galaxy has more RAM, but it's actually about a wash.

Now on to how it looks and feels to the consumer.

The Galaxy S8 has a 5.8-inch display of 570 pixels per inch and a weight of 5.46 ounces

(155 grams).

iPhone 7 has a 4.7-inch display of 325 pixels per inch and a weight of 4.87 ounces (138

grams).

If you're really a camera pro, you probably already know that both phones – and by that

we mean each version including the plus, so all four models – have a 12 megapixel camera.

But the 7 got raves from the photog blogs, hailing the Optical Image Stabilization that

was on previous iPhone pluses, and the new image signal processor.

The 7 plus has bokeh effect for portraits.

A BGR comparison for overall camera function placed them about even, depending on use.

Side by side comparisons of identical photos shot with each camera in multiple reviews

show the S8 a little brighter and a little more vivid for still photos of selfies and

simple landscapes.

For video, both have good stabilization, but the iPhone has 2x zoom thanks to its telephoto

lens - one feature that the S8 lacks.

But for most of us, the real question is how long each phone will last on a charge.

The S8 specs tell you how long the phone will go on just MP3 playback, video playback, and

talk time.

But you want to know how long it will last over the course of your average day mixing

talk, text, social media, YouTube and other videos, games, taking and browsing photos,

and maybe a Netflix or two.

You'll have about the same on both phones – the ability to go a full work day plus

evening on one charge, if you're not constantly on energy-intensive apps.

You can conserve battery by kicking down screen brightness to a still-legible 75 or 80 percent.

As for organizing your work and life, the iPhone's Siri is probably still the champ.

You can ask her any random question, and use your voice for functions.

The S8's Bixby is more of a task manager to help you use features in your phone than

an instant encyclopedia to the world like Siri.

If you're a shopaholic, one cool Bixby feature is snapping a photo with object recognition

that will help you track down where you can get the sweet gear you just saw.

To get apps for either phone, both the Google Play store and the Apple Store have millions

of apps.

You won't suffer options on either operating system.

On the topic of apps, you'll need them in the S8 if you're a video chatter.

Unlike Apple's FaceTime, there is no single built-in standard free video chatting app

across all Android phones.

Skype and Google Hangout have their advantages, but if you're averse to learning something

new and using different apps for the same core function, you might think twice about

the S8.

Regarding price, the iPhone starts lower but also goes higher.

On the S8, retail price is either $750 or $840 for the plus, with standard 64GB storage.

The iPhone 7 and plus each offer 32, 128, or 256 gigabytes.

The price range is $649 for the 7 at 32 gigabytes to $969 for the 7 plus at 256 gigabytes.

There are of course deals and promotions with the four carriers that offer both the S8 and

iPhone 7: AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, and T-Mobile.

You might want to keep those deals in mind, and think twice about investing in an iPhone

7 right now, as the iPhone 8 is rumored to be out later this year.

One feature Apple watchers say will be included is superior biometrics: the fingerprint feature

will easily dominate the Galaxy's troublesome reader.

No word yet on how glossy the iPhone 8 might be, if Apple's designers attempt to step

to the S8's much-touted look.

But Apple could think twice about that idea, as reviewers noted that the glass body that

makes the S8 so beautiful also makes it smudge-prone.

So, which smartphone do you prefer?

#COOKWITHME - LAVA CAKE RECIPE (petit gateau with subtitles PT/EN) - Duration: 7:08.

Hey guys, and the video today will be something completely different

Do you guys remember when I told you I love cooking?

So today I'm gonna cook for you!

Well, it's not a secret anymore but the recipe is a dessert.

I already had the ingredients at home, so this time I'm not taking you to the supermarket with me

I know you guys like when I take you to the grocery store or something but it's not gonna be today, guys!

So today's recipe is one of my favorite desserts EVER! <i><b><u><font color=#00000000></font></u></b></i>

In English it's called LAVA CAKE

It's like a volcano, so you open it and you have some lava inside. Actually, that's the plan.

You're also going to see or find here in the US as MOLTEN CAKE

but lava cake is a little bit more common

and I think it makes more sense, as well!

Don't you know what a lava cake is?

THAT IS A LAVA CAKE!

It's a fluffy cake with a liquid chocolate inside.

Ok, I gotta tell you something: there's a long time I don't make it, so there's a huge chance

something goes wrong

but I swear to you that I'll do my best here today

And I really hope we have some lava in our lava cake!

Well, if it doesn't work at least you practiced your English and we had some fun, right?

Yeah, you're gonna learn some words in English, I'm gona make some dessert for me...

I guess that's a win win case!

So, let's check our recipe first:

So first of all I'm gonna heat my oven to 425 degrees

And one point: my oven is Fahrenheit ok?

In Celsius it would be around 200 degrees ok?

The first step is mixing the chocolate and the butter

So I'm gonna put both of them together

And I'll microwave the butter and the chocolate for around 2 minutes.

or until the butter is melted.

ok so next step: I'm gonna mix all together until it's smooth

Ok so after that I'm gonna add a half a cup of granulated sugar

So you can see that's a beautiful batter I love this color!

Ok so now it's time to add the eggs!

Dont' forget: 3 whole eggs and 3 yolks

I'll just start with the yolks first

ok, so that makes one... two and three

And yes, I am left-handed as you can tell

ok then finally let's add a half a cup of flour

I always like to do it very slowly

I'm proud of it! It's getting beautiful!

So I'm gonna let my batter rest for around 30 minutes

I've just got some oil and I'm gonna grease my baking tray

It's time to put our batter in the oven and you should really pay attention now because

that's the moment when most people make mistakes. They usually put the baking tray in the oven and just forget about it <i><b><u><font color=#00000000></font></u></b></i>

And no, you gotta babysit your lava cake

That's right! You have to wait and watch!

You're gonna bake it until the sides are firm and the center is soft

It may take around 8 minutes but it may vary from oven to oven. So le'ts put it into the oven.

Hey, and that's our lava cake! I don't know if you liked the experience but I had so much fun making that.

And to be really honest, this is really good! That's really good!

I know I should be ashamed of myself for having 2 lava cakes here but I'm not gonna be...

I can run like, 5k later...

This was my first vlog making recipes so if you'd like to see more just let me know here in the comments below

And I really wanna know if you're gonna make this recipe tonight, on the weekend...

Let me know here in the comments or even on my social network! Send me pictures, send me videos

I really wanna see how your lava cake is going to be!

Guys I intend to keep our vlogs from the USA all in English I guess this is a nice way for you to practice your listening

And I'm always going to add subtitles in case a beginner or somebody who's starting to study English right now

want to see this vlog and this person is going to be able to follow as well

So let me know as well if you like the idea of having vlogs all in English

This was my first recipe here, I really intend to bring other recipes

savory dishes, desserts, appetizers... whatever you guys wish! If you want you can suggest the dish as well

Ok guys? So I'll just finish my lava cake because you know, my ice cream is melting

So that's it guys. Thank you so much for being here with me Thank you so much for watching my video

So that's it guys. Thank you so much for being here with me Thank you so much for watching my video And I really hope you have enjoyed, you have liked it

And I really hope you have enjoyed, you have liked it

Ok guys, so take care of yourselves and see you next video! Bye!

and today title is one of thouse that you were ask a lot~

I think it will be the first from a lot of

tape where i will be search the best variation for you

And today Story is about Reaction of Korean on that fact that I'm from Russia!!!

well and all that reaction on the fact that Im foreigner too

but let's start from that part

And today in that part I will have a Help from Egor

Today we will share with you fiew story that we have in our experience box)

A long time I was leave in Japan

but never have had that reaction that have in Korea.

If for Japaness all "white" ppl is same

then Korean have Distinction

They more like ppl from US, Canada

Australia or West Europ

I will tell you fiew story that happens with me

In Bar I was waiting my order right next to the Bar

One Korean girls come to me and ask - where do I from?

from what country did I came?

I was curious and I asked her to take a guess

coz In main all ppl think that Im from Germany, UK, France

Even Germans think that Im one of them

Are you from US ? she was aksed

No

Are from UK?

No, I'm from Russia.

In that moment I did catch a change in her eyes.

looks like some kind of fire in her eyes was just Extinguished

I understand that she lost all interest in Me

She take her drinks, say "have a nice time" and go in to the bar

In that moment I wasn't knew yet, that the problem was in fact of that Im from Russia

After some time in the same bar I met other Korean girl

but with same quetion.

and I ask her to take a guess too

she make fiew try's and when she say ' Are you from UK?"

I decided to agree with that

Yes, Im from Manchester

Seriously?

I like you, I want to spend a Time with you more.

Let's go i will meet you with my friends.

And you know, I was kind of shocked from her activites

she meet me with her fiends

we have a bit chat together and Im just gone for moment

after, maybe, 40-50 min,

I did met that girl in the crowd bar

but she didn't recognize me

well if look on her you will understand that she get bit Drunk

and she ask me agin where do i from

in that moment i forgot what did I tell her befor

that Im from UK

and automatically say - I'm from Russia

and I see the same eyes that I was seen befor, with the first Korean girl.

no presents of any interest

She just smile on me and gone

Same Korean girl, but different reaction

On me as UK person, and on me as a Russian

And the next story will be from the part of - assault and battery

Im not talk about fingts, but

with one or 2 adjusssi something alike was

but no. I will tell you funny story

which you guys already know a long time)

Collaboration with Lida

We were in Caffe and I see the Guy with a hotpink hairs

on the blod underline

In that moment it wasnt so popular to have that colors

it is right now if you go out on the street you will see a lot of pink, blue

and green and blue more then others

even more then blond

what ever, it is just right now that color wave is here

back then it was kind of exclusive

I mean no one died there hair like so

maybe just me)))

it was something

of coz I have an a reaction on that

and when we met on the street I ask permission to have a photos

yes, that photo

un one of the friend asked - Where are you from girls?

I answer that we are from Russia - and rightaway

he put a hand on me

take it off me I'm ask

why do you put your hand on me who give you that right?

and he ask something like why not

on what I get a strack answer again -

that I'm a student here and you give you right to get in to my privessy

after that he of coz Retire and his friend near to him is loling around

and they was want to tach us too (me and Lida)

and start to make "sorry's"

like "ow, sorry we did meant to insult you" bla bla bla

while we were talk before "Russia" was split out,

hand was right here where you can see them

and after they hear that I'm from Russia

the hand was fly right to me

somewhere somwhere here

hee macarena~~~

In japan we will have different story

if I will go to the bar - i defffenetly will met some Japan guy

Japan girls are very shy, there so

they never come to me

but a lot of mens

and of coz first question was, where are you from

When I answered that Im from Russia

They say - wait a moment "Chotto matte"

and gone

after some time they come back with VODKA

and i got that all time!)))

in communication with japaness girls I haven't fell something same as with Korean girls.

when japaness girl get knew that Im from Russia

there reaction was

Heee~ rosia wa samui desyo

sugoi ne

ow you from russia

it is preaty cold there, right

japaness girl was always interested

I think that Japaness react on ask better then Koreans

bet in some other cases Koreans better then Japaness

Guess game)))

yes, I was have that experience too

when not just Koreans but other foreigner was try to guess where I'm from)

I was work back than in Lotte Hotel on front

It was pretty difficult to know where I'm from by my look and special by my talk)))

Ther so all costumers while the were waiting for Taxi start to guessing

and one of that game guesses I like the most..or maybe 2

you will not belive, but with one U person was korean men

and they have a Bickering where do I from

US person was a soldier but who was korean person I don't know

and when they talking freelly on English

they have a Bickering on where do I from?

Us person say that Im somewhere from Europ

and Korean person was telling that Im from US

of coz American was looking on and understanding that Im not US person

and he dedicated to ask

where did I came from?

of coz I make them guess

first was of coz US

and Im NO

American, thinking that he wiin already was so happy

but still they try to guess

American try to spell all countries like

France, Italy, Spain, Finland

everything but not Russia

he was try to go trought all country and Im stop him by telling that you 3 tries was ended)))

here we have confused american too

becoz non of them have the win

then they ask - so where do you from? and Im say - I'm from RUSSIA

American was uploaded to my English which make him think that I'm from Europe but not Russia

and korean have a solution that they both lost there so they must to by a drink to each other))))

it was very funny moment. thouse ppl was so funny

Sombenim was loling on the back about that

but by that all story not ends there is MORE

Фирма по организации свадеб, вечеринок, банкетов - Duration: 2:19.

I want to share my idea. There is an idea to create a company for organizing weddings, parties, banquets, etc. Recently my sister got married, so mediation services provided by the Manager of the restaurant, where was held the wedding. A photographer, ornament balls, and Pugachev (of course not real), and master of ceremonies. However, the latter was clearly not a professional: no more jokes, games and competitions, not staged, not to mention the traditional scenario of the wedding. So. Your organization requires: 1) Gather all the information about companies and people (preferably with recommendations), offering their services in this area. 2) Rent an office, to start even without an office, working with the departure to the customer. 3) To attract customers to use as direct advertising, and friends. 4) Create a website on the Internet and otherwise promote it (there should be information not only about the company, but the article about the wedding of weddings, a forum for communication, etc.). 5) to enter into agreements with travel companies for organization of wedding travel. Also offer organization of wedding in the old believer style. It is even possible to make the emphasis on this service. It seems to me that this service sector is not yet sufficiently developed in our country and can enjoy the demand, the more the scope of services offered is constantly expanding.

iPhone 7 vs Galaxy S8 - How Do They Compare? - Phone Comparison - Duration: 6:03.

With a new Galaxy out in April and the next iPhone supposedly on the way this year, you're

The most recent version of each is the S8 or S8 Plus for the Galaxy and the 7 or 7 Plus

Tekken 7 - Ranking System - Beginner's guide - Duration: 7:29.

If you're new to the Tekken series, it's very understandable that you'd be confused by the

game's ranking system.

The terms might be a bit weird and you may not fully understand what a Kyu or a Dan is

- which is why I made this simple guide to try and teach you the basics of Tekken 7's

ranking system.

In Tekken 7 you're given two different ranks, one offline rank and one online rank.

The offline rank obviously representing how well you do in offline matches and the online

rank representing how well you do in online matches.

When playing online, you can participate in ranked matches, and depending on how you do

in these matches, your will eventually be either be promoted or demoted.

Simple enough, right?

Well, it also depends on the rank of the person that you're going against in each particular

match.

In the settings menu for online match ups, you can select what level of player you want

to go against: ±2 only, ±3 only, ±3 preferred or any.

The ± meaning that it'll either be someone who is above your rank or below it and the

number signifying how much more above or below the other person's rank may be.

Now, you may be thinking; ''I'm just gonna set it to any and keep beating up really high

level players so that I'll rank up in no time!''

But it's not quite that simple.

The amount of points that you'll get from winning a match depends on your opponents

rank.

Not everyone is equal in the world of Tekken 7 so you should choose your match ups carefully

if you want to rank up fast.

You'll gain the most points for playing against people who are the same rank as you.

Playing against someone who is 1 rank above or 1 rank below comes next, playing against

someone who is 2 ranks above or below gives you half of that and playing against someone

who is 3 ranks above or below will give you half of that half.

Meaning that playing against someone who is the same rank as you gives you one point,

playing against someone who is ±1 gives you half a point, playing against someone who

is ±2 gives you a fourth of a point and playing against someone who is ±3 gives you an eighth

of a point.

Meaning that the fastest way to rank up is to play against people who are the exact same

rank as you, as you'll gain one whole point each match as long as you can actually win

them.

The next best thing being beating up people who are 1 rank above or below.

Do you absolutely have to do it that way?

Of course not!

In the end, it's all up to you who you decide to duke it out with.

Like I said however, assuming that you can win against the people that are of equal rank,

it would be the fastest way to climb the ranks.

Look at it this way: Because you're expected to lose against high ranked players, the punishment

isn't as harsh and because you're expected to win against low ranked players, the reward

isn't as big.

It might be a little bit confusing if you're a newcomer.

As playing against someone who has a much higher rank feels like it should give you

a lot more points compared to playing against someone who has the same rank as you do.

The reason that the system works this way is to make it difficult to exploit for more

experienced players.

Let's say you start playing online as Jin, giving you the beginner rank.

You work your way up the ranks using Jin fair and square until you reach a high rank.

Now let's say you want to start playing a new character, seeing as you're probably an

experienced fighter by now, you'd probably step all over most beginner players already.

So even if you can beat a 24th Dan player as this new character, it'd be unfair if you

were allowed to just suddenly jump ahead that far, wouldn't it?

If that was the case, you could just beat up low level people all day with no consequences

whatsoever.

Competitive Tekken is all about climbing the ranks as you go, not to suddenly go from 2nd

to 19th Dan after one match.

Not every single match is an opportunity to rank up,

and you can be demoted and kicked down a rank if you lose too much.

The game will make it very obvious when a match is a promotion match or a demotion match,

as it will be displayed on-screen before the match begins.

Promotion and demotion definitely isn't set in stone and works a lot like a scale -- Win

a lot and you'll eventually get a chance to be promoted.

Lose a lot and you'll eventually face the risk of being demoted.

Instead of throwing you around ranks like a rag doll you might bounce between them once

in a while as you climb.

Now, let's talk about ranks.

Your basic rank as a new player will give you the ''beginner'' title, which is fair,

considering that's what you are.

Gain a rank and you'll be promoted to ''9th Kyu,'' then to ''8th Kyu,'' ''7th Kyu,'' ''6th

Kyu,'' and so on until you reach ''1st Kyu.''

Kyu is a Japanese term that is used to designate rank.

After you've reached 1st Kyu, you'll be ranked into ''1st Dan.''

Which then follows the same pattern all the way up until you've reached ''4th Dan.''

Dan is also a term that is used to designate rank, you can think of it as one level higher

than Kyu.

After reaching 4th Dan, your rank will still be counted in Dan from there on out but you

will be given a title to apply to your number and rank.

For example, the title for 4th Dan is ''Mentor,'' the title for 5th Dan is ''Expert,'' 6th Dan

is ''Master'' and 7th Dan is ''Grand Master.''

This continues on with 8th Dan being ''Brawler,'' 9th Dan being ''Marauder,'' 10th Dan being

''Fighter'' and 11th Dan being ''Berserker.''

The titles then continue on as follows: Warrior (12th), Avenger (13th), Vindicator (14th),

Juggernaut (15th), Vanquisher (16th), Destroyer (17th), Conqueror (18th), Savior (19th), Genbu

Black Turtle (20th), Byakko White Tiger (21st) Seiryu Azure Dragon (22nd), Suzaku Vermilion

Bird (23rd), Mighty Ruler (24th), Revered Ruler (25th), Divine Ruler (26th), Eternal

Ruler (27th), Fujin Japanese Wind God or (28th), Raijin Japanese Thunder God or (29th), Yaksa

Nature Spirit or (30th), Ryujin Japanese Water Dragon God (31st), Emperor (32nd), Tekken

Lord (33rd) and Tekken God (34th).

The titles continue on changing until you've ranked up to 35th Dan or ''True Tekken God'',

which is the final rank to follow the previous pattern.

Being promoted from True Tekken God leads to becoming a ''Tekken God Prime'' which automatically

sends you up to 100th Dan instead of 36th.

Ranking up from a True Tekken God to a Tekken God Prime isn't easy however, so do your best!

Looking in from the outside, dealing with rankings and competitive play looks a lot

scarier than it is.

Although it's definitely the best part of the game for many, many players, you shouldn't

feel forced to fling yourself into online play if you're not feeling up to it.

It can definitely seem overwhelming and like something you won't get the hang of, but don't

hesitate if you do want to give it a go!

I hope you enjoyed this video and I really do hope you were able to find it helpful.

What Is The Flypaper Concept Of Bankruptcy And Debt? - Duration: 3:26.

Some bankruptcy lawyer talked about the flypaper concept of bankruptcy and debt.

What does that mean?

My name is Ron Drescher.

I'm an attorney practicing bankruptcy and creditor's rights in Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania

and Virginia.

And I was that lawyer because I look at debt as like flypaper.

It sticks to you.

It sticks to you personally and if you have property that is subject to a lien because

you've gotten a judgment against you or you've given a lien to a creditor it sticks to the

property.

And the magical thing about bankruptcy is you go through bankruptcy, you file your bankruptcy

papers, you go to talk to a trustee, you pay the filing fee, your honest and truthful,

nobody objects to your bankruptcy, you're going to get a bankruptcy discharge after

90 to 100 days.

And that's going to have the effect of peeling that flypaper off of you so that your creditors

can't do anything against you to collect on that debt.

But what most people don't know is that the bankruptcy by itself does not peel that flypaper

off your assets.

So if you've been sued and they've gotten a judgment against your pre-bankruptcy, there's

that lien.

That flypaper's sticking to your property, sticking to your car.

All right, so a lot of people think yes I got sued, yes there was a judgment against

me, but I went through bankruptcy and I got a discharge so that judgment should be discharged

from my property.

It doesn't work that way.

The flypaper sticks to the asset unless you affirmatively do something in the bankruptcy

case to make it come off.

In Chapter 7 about the only thing you can do is file a motion to say listen, that judgment

lien impairs an exemption that I have on that property so judge, please let me peel that

flypaper off.

You have more rights in Chapter 13 because you are agreeing to turn over all your net

disposable income for the life of the plan so if, for example, your house is totally

under water and you have a second mortgage and that second mortgage doesn't really stick

to any of the value of the property, you can peel off that flypaper represented by that

second mortgage and at the end of your Chapter 13 you have gotten rid of that lien against

your property.

That's a very important reason why people do file bankruptcy.

You can also do that with a car under the right circumstances in Chapter 13.

But, don't be misled or confused.

You're going to have to do something affirmative in the bankruptcy to peel the flypaper off

your assets.

My name is Ron Drescher.

I'm an attorney practicing bankruptcy and creditor's rights in Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania

and Virginia.

And if you're concerned about the impact of a lien against your property in bankruptcy

please pick up the phone and call me.

I would love to hear from you.

The Reframing Matrix: Put Your Problem Into Perspective - Duration: 2:42.

When you're stuck on a problem, it often helps to look at it from a different perspective.

The Reframing Matrix is a tool that helps you to do just that,

and you can use the resulting insights to generate creative solutions.

The Reframing Matrix is very easy to use.

All you need to get started is a pen and a piece of paper.

Start by drawing a simple four-square grid.

Leave a space in the middle of the grid,

and write the problem you want to explore in this space.

Next, decide on four different perspectives to use in your matrix,

and allocate one square to each perspective.

In this video, we'll look at the 4Ps Approach and the Professions Approach,

but you can choose any set of perspectives that may be relevant to your business.

The 4Ps Approach helps you look at problems from the perspectives of

Product, Planning, Potential, and People.

For the Product perspective, ask yourself questions like:

Is there something wrong with the product or service?

Is it priced correctly?

How well does it serve the market?

For the Planning perspective, ask:

How could we improve our business plans, our marketing plans, or our strategy?

For the Potential perspective, think about how you could increase sales or productivity.

What would happen if you doubled your targets?

And for the People perspective, ask yourself:

What impact does this problem have on our stakeholders, or our customers?

The Professions Approach helps you look at the problem from the viewpoints of four different specialists,

or different stakeholders.

For example, a doctor would see the problem in a different way from a civil engineer or a lawyer.

And the way a CEO would look at a problem is different from the way an HR manager would look at it.

This approach can be especially useful when you need to step away from your usual way of thinking.

Brainstorm your problem from each of the four different points of view you've identified,

and write down your results in the corresponding quadrant of the matrix.

This will give you a broader understanding of your problem,

and help you to consider a range of potential solutions.

To learn more about The Reframing Matrix, read the article that accompanies this video.

Simplified Approach to the Vocal Bridge - Duration: 7:13.

When singing higher, where should chest voice end?

When singing lower, at what note should I be completely in chest voice?

These are important questions because if you don't get it right, you'll pull chest

voice too high and your voice will splat or crack.

Or, singing lower, your chest voice will be too light and wimpy!

Inside this video I'll give you a simplified approach to the vocal bridge using a visual

diagram to help you get it right!

Hi, I'm Chuck Gilmore with Power To Sing.

Here are two questions I received from John, a subscriber and skype student.

#1.

Where should there not be any Chest Voice?

#2.

What note should I be completely in chest voice?

"I ask this because I don't want to start pulling chest when I should just let my head

voice do it's thing.

I hope this makes sense?"

This is a great question about where chest voice begins and ends.

I answered him in an email and he sent me his visual interpretation of the answer.

It's a beautifully simplified approach to the vocal bridge.

I love it because he's figuring out in his own voice what it feels like to bridge.

Simply put, for the majority of men, by the time you reach G4, that's the G above middle

C4, you no longer should have chest resonance.

It should only be head resonance by this pitch.

As you come from the bottom of your voice, the chest resonance hits the soft palate splits

into your head at the E4, the E above middle C...maybe 25%.

[Demo] By the F4, more is splitting off into the head...maybe 50%, [Demo] by the F#4 even

more...maybe 75%.[Demo] By the G4, 100% is now resonating in your head.

[Demo] The vocal cords have also adjusted so less vibrating element is generating sound

waves.

Overtones of the chest voice have dropped out and been replaced by head voice overtones.

However, because you do this without disconnecting the tone and breaking into falsetto, there

remains a tonal connection to the chest voice.

This unites the voice, making it seem like all one voice.

[Demo] The same thing happens in the reverse as you

descend back into chest voice.

[Demo] On the way up and the way down, it's ok to

allow more head voice to "bleed" over early to where there should be or could be strictly chest voice.

[Demo] However, it's not ok to to pull chest voice

higher to where there should be head voice.

This causes the larynx to be pulled higher with unwanted tension and strain.

[Demo] Generally, I would say for a high percentage

of tenors and baritones, that by the time you get to middle C, going up or down is where

you can be comfortably 100% in chest voice.

[Demo] Caveat: There are always exceptions.

This is generally.

John generously made a simplified approach to the vocal bridge for the sopranos and and

altos.

I might be opening Pandora's Box.

This next concept is more controversial.

I hesitate to include this diagram because, although the concept is similar, it's different

for women's voices.

The pitches A4-Eb5 COMPRISES A MIDDLE AREA.

Once you pass through the first bridge at A4, Bb, B and C5, THERE'S VIRTUALLY NO CHEST

VOICE.

HOWEVER, while the chest resonance is almost non-existent from C#5 upward, this "MIDDLE"

area of A4-Eb5 is felt by many singers to be neither chest or pure head voice.

WOMEN HAVE ANOTHER BRIDGE AT E,F, F#5.

Once the singer arrives at the second bridge which is the E,F,F#5, she leaves the MIDDLE

register and bridges into complete head voice at G5.

It's as if the ladies need one more bridge to make a complete transition into pure head

voice.

Even though these diagrams may not be precisely accurate for any voice, it's a useful concept

in terms of transitioning from chest into head voice as the pitch ascends and head into

chest voice as the pitch descends.

The study of singing is the study of how to transition successfully between registers

of the voice, especially at the first bridge.

When you can do this well, your whole life changes.

For more about vocal bridges be sure and watch this video at the end of today's video.

If you liked this video please give it a thumbs up, subscribe and share it with a friend.

How has your singing improved as you have learned to bridge?

I'd love to hear about it in the comment section below.

Your vocal type describes what your voice tends to do as you sing through the first

bridge of your voice.

Do you know your vocal type?

Go to PowerToSing.com and take the vocal test, which I call the Power Test.

Take the quiz and discover your vocal type.

Then visit the Knowledge Center and watch the videos about your vocal type.

Download the free exercises and start practicing them.

They will help you successfully bridge from your chest to head voice.

This will have a huge impact on your singing.

I'm Chuck Gilmore with Power To Sing.

You can sing higher with beauty, confidence and power.

I'll see you inside the next video.

Жизнь, как Панда - Duration: 4:11.

I remember

myself being a kid.

Everything was so crystal clear.

I understood, who the good guys are and who are bad.

But now it's all different.

There is no black or white.

Life looks more like a panda.

All we do is run through the life, meeting hatred, friends, anger, beauty, habits, love.

We can't tell anymore whether something is good or bad.

Do I know it?

Probably not, but I'll try to find out.

Talk Show the Game Show - "They're Taking Our Jobs" with Ed Weeks | truTV - Duration: 1:29.

"They're Taking Our Jobs."

You, like many Brits,

have taken jobs from hard-working American actors.

Oh, I see.

I see how this is going down.

Now I understand.

Because your role on "The Mindy Project"

was originally written for an American.

We need to prove that you earned the right

to an American acting job.

So, I will ask you

a series of questions

from the United States

Citizenship Exam.

Oh!

And you have to answer in your best American accents.

You know I might get deported

because of this.

In the present climate. -We understand that.

We want stakes

in our game, okay?

-Jesus!

-You will be judged

on the following three factors --

correctness, fake patriotism,

and mouth sounds.

Pbht! Okay.

Are you ready for your bonus game?

I think so.

Can we get 30 seconds on the clock?

Let's do this.

What is the name of the U.S. Vice President right now?

Oh, Mike Pence.

No. Bad American accent.

[ American accent ] Oh, Mike "Pants."

All right.

What are the two major political parties

in the United States?

Oh, uh, the democrats and the crazy [bleep]

[ Ding! ]

Who was president during World War I?

Oh, uh, Eisenhower?

-No.

-I know.

How many voting members

are there in the House of Representatives?

Oh, there are a lot.

-I didn't ask for gay.

-Oh, I --

Uh, and who are your state senators right now?

I don't know!

[ Buzzer ]

Ed, that was the most American of all of your answers.

Ellen White Didn't Persuade Him. It Was an Adventist Roommate - Duration: 3:14.

Some people have told me that they joined the Adventist Church

after reading about something in the Bible.

Others have told me that they joined the church after

reading Ellen White's writings.

But when I was in Jamaica I met a man named Adrian

who told me that he joined the Adventist Church for one reason:

because he had a roommate who lived Jesus.

I became a Seventh-day Adventist because of my roommate

who lived a powerful Christian life before me.

Adrian enrolled at a Seventh-day Adventist boarding school in Jamaica at the age of 17.

He thought that the boarding school would be like any other boarding school

where he could party on the weekends.

He was very surprised to find out that the church-owned school was much more than just a place to study.

It also required him to go to church services and to attend daily worship.

Adrian was not at all impressed with Adventists at first.

When he joined the high school, he already knew about Adventists — kind of.

He knew that they worshipped on Saturday, which he thought was very strange.

And he thought that they were very foolish for refusing to eat pork.

The first Adventist students that he met at the high school also didn't leave him with a very good impression.

Adrian told me that these students invited him to watch soccer games on Sabbath in the town.

And one of them tried to convince him to steal milk from the cafeteria.

Adrian had three roommates at the boarding school.

Two of them were non-Adventists, just like himself.

But the other roommate was a Seventh-day Adventist.

And Adrian told me that he was very surprised about how this roommate acted.

Every morning, the roommate would get up, he would go to the window,

kneel down, and pray. When the roommate went out for the classes in the morning,

he would stop by the door and pray again.

When he returned from the classes,

he would come into the room and pray and then

read his Sabbath School Study Guide.

In the evening, the roommate again knelt at the window and prayed.

Adrian told me that he was really awestruck.

The roommate noticed Adrian's interest and invited him to read the Bible study guide together in the afternoon.

Adrian agreed.

And the roommate showed Adrian how to look up the Bible passages as they went through the lesson together.

By March, Adrian was baptized.

Today, Adrian is one of the senior Adventist leaders in Jamaica.

That roommate? He now is the pastor of a church in Jamaica.

Adrian told me that a few years ago he was elected the president of a conference in Jamaica,

and his former roommate was a pastor in that conference.

Adrian said he and his roommate often get together and talk about old times.

I was attracted to Adventism, not because of the Sabbath or because

of the Spirit of Prophecy but because of the dedicated life that he lived before me day by day.

I love mission!

And I hope you love mission, too!

Talk Show the Game Show - The Start of Paul Feig's Comedy Career | truTV - Duration: 0:47.

I wanted to be a standup

and found out

there's this club in Detroit, Michigan, called the Delta Lady,

which was a biker bar.

Uh-huh.

And so, I got my parents to take me down there.

And I performed.

But weirdly, one of the regulars there was Dave Coulier.

-Oh, really? Really? -Yes, exactly.

The very beginning of his career.

So, like, what was your comedy like when you were 15 years old?

Uh, one bit was about, um,

how male models posed in, like, the Sears catalog.

But this is the old days,

so...

Uh-huh. Right.

But they would always, like, be by a fence

and they'd be, like, looking off like this.

And there would be one guy going...

that, so...

That was my bit. Thank you.

Um...

I'm gonna give him an impression for that, 3 points, as well.
