Ashley Estes Kavanaugh, the wife of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, has received threats, some of them violent, according to The Wall Street Journal.

That report comes on the heels of lawyers for Brett Kavanaugh's accuser Christine Blasey Ford saying that Ford has also received threats and has had to relocate with her family.

U.S.

Senator Susan Collins, a Republican whose vote is considered key to the nomination, has also received threats, saying to WVOM: "My office has received some pretty ugly voicemails, threats, terrible things said to my staff.".

Ashley Estes Kavanaugh Received Threats to Her Work Email Account, Reports Say.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Brett Kavanaugh's wife, Ashley Estes Kavanaugh, "received violent threats" after Blasey Ford came forward to accuse Brett Kavanaugh of attempted rape dating to their high school years in the 1980s.

The Journal cited a "senior Trump administration official" for the report, saying the emails are being investigated by the U.S.

Marshals Service.

Ashley Estes Kavanaugh is a town manager in Chevy Chase, Maryland, a suburb of Washington D.

The Journal reports that the emails came to Ashley Kavanaugh's work email, both from the same email account.

"May you, your husband and your kids burn in hell," said one email, according to WSJ.

The other told her she should tell Brett Kavanaugh to "put a bullet in his … skull," reported WSJ.

CNN reports that Brett Kavanaugh has also received threats.

CNN quoted email threats to Ashley Kavanaugh as reading: "My condolences to you for being married to a rapist.

Although you probably deserve it," and "F*** YOU AND YOUR RAPIST HUSBAND.".

Brett Kavanaugh has denied Blasey Ford's accusations.

Christine Blasey Ford Has Also Received Threats.

Ashley Kavanaugh isn't the only person who has had to deal with frightening threats.

According to CNN, Christine Ford Blasey has also received threats.

Ford's lawyer, Debra Katz, wrote the Senate Judiciary Committee, "As you are aware, she has been receiving death threats, which have been reported to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and she and her family have been forced out of their home." Ford's lawyers have asked the committee to protect Blasey Ford's safety if she testifies.

Blasey Ford has two children and is married.

"She has been the target of vicious harassment and even death threats.

As a result of these kind of threats, her family was forced to relocate out of their home.

Her email has been hacked, and she has been impersonated online," a letter from Ford's lawyer says.

Ashley Kavanaugh Worked in the George W.

Bush Administration.

Both Brett and Ashley Kavanaugh served in the Bush administration and Bush nominated Brett M.

Kavanaugh to the position he currently holds on the U.S.

Court of Appeals in Washington D.C.

Trump revealed Kavanaugh as his pick for Supreme Court on July 9, 2018.

According to The Washington Examiner, "In 2004, Kavanaugh married presidential assistant Ashley Estes, who gave birth to their daughter, Margaret, 13 months later.

The family lives in Chevy Chase, directly across the street from White House Counsel Dan Bartlett.".

Ashley Estes Kavanaugh, the spouse of Brett Kavanaugh, has deep ties to the administration of George W.

Bush as well.

Her links to Bush go back to his days as Texas governor.

According to her LinkedIn page, Ashley Estes Kavanaugh worked as media relations coordinator for the George W.

Bush Presidential Center from 2009-2010; worked as Director of Special Projects for the George W.

Bush presidential Foundation from 2005 to 2009; was President George W.

Bush's personal secretary from 2001 to 2005; was an assistant in the White House from 2001 to 2005; and worked on the Bush-Cheney 2000 campaign from 1996 to 2000.

Her time with Bush dates to his work in Texas as governor there.

She was assistant to Governor George W.

Bush from 1996 to 1999.

She attended the University of Texas at Austin from 1994 to 1997.

Her LinkedIn page says she is Town Manager, Section 5 of the Village of Chevy Chase, Maryland.

A newsletter for the town reports, "She has lived in Section 5 on Underwood Street for the last ten years along with her husband, Brett, and their two daughters, Margaret and Liza.".

And today, I'm going to catch you up on what's happening with endpoint protection and how

to add a layer of defense against zero-day and unknown threats.

Lets face it, it's a bit scary out there, which makes it a bit scary inside most business

IT and security teams.

Just consider what CDW's own research from IDG found:

50 percent of CIOs view malware, viruses and worms as high-risk threats.

46 percent of organizations have suffered a serious security breach.

55 percent of organizations fear the financial and legal fallout of an attack.

But, just 30 percent of IT officials have confidence in their ability to thwart an attack.

So how can businesses help turn the tide on some of these fears and better take on endpoint

security today?

A chief focus has to be on addressing zero-day attacks and the unknown.

Signatures arent' enough.

That's where EDR, endpoint detection and response comes in.

EDR can help address file-less malware, malware hiding in HTTPS traffic and malware sneaking

in in other ways.

What's more, it can provide more granular control and visibility into an attack.

The IT team can now remediate quicker because they know more about the attack.

The value it brings really is in the control and visibility into the attack.

It's better than traditional antivirus.

EDR focuses on monitoring endpoints to detect suspicious activities and capture data for

forensic and security investigations focusing on what we call the kill chain.

You can go into your EDR console and get the who, what, where, why and when, where did

it start, what kind of attack is it, where did it go, why is it attacking in this manner

and when did it begin.

We recently had a customer ask us about how they could better tackle advanced threats

and attacks.

They were using traditional AV and didn't have the visibility and reporting they needed

to be as proactive as they wanted to be.

How could they find out that who, what and when story?

Their traditional AV was great at saying, Yes, we have seen this before, we fixed it,

and now you are good.

But, what if the malware hadn't been seen before?

We recommended EDR to get that visibility.

Yes, the attack entered.

Traditional AV stopped it, but what other damage did it do?

That's where EDR helped.

It provided the intel and reporting they desired to gain visibility into the kill chain.

What's cool is that EDR gets smarter as you use it.

That's because these products algorithms rely on data and artificial intelligence.

AI builds up a database of what's happening specifically within the organization, as well

as what's happening generally within the world.

It's like a big dictionary that keeps evolving with time by looking at behavior.

the Treadwrights on the 4Runner anymore.

So a lot of questions about if we're running

the Treadwrights anymore and if not why we're not

running them anymore what we think of them

and I've sort of held off posting a full on review

of these tires.

But I think you know now I'm ready to do it.

So we're going to talk about the five reasons five

reasons that I'm not running the Treadwrights

anymore.

First a few disclaimers.

Number one this isn't a hate video.

Now I'm not going to sit here and talk about how

something or people are terrible or companies bad

or what you should spend your money on.

I have no bad experience with trade right.

They treated me well and I think it's a fine

company and have no problem with them at all.

Number two the tires that we had on the 4runner

were the 265 75 16 and the tread pattern

was the warden all terrain.

Now these were light truck tire and they were 10 ply range tire.

Third full disclosure I did contact trade right

initially and asked them if they would like to send

me some tires for review.

They did.

They sent me the tires and I've posted my review.

And so this is it's I got paid for myself.

They did send them to me.

I did pay to have them mounted.

So you know that's just one of you know

that that's where we stand with trade right right now.

Fourth I've had no bad experiences

with the Treadwrighwright tires.

They didn't have any failures.

Didn't have any major issues that made

it so that I couldn't use the tires or made

it so they felt they were unsafe so I didn't

actually experience anything anything bad or catastrophic

or any failures of any kind.

Fifth are they safe.

I personally have had no experiences

that leads me to believe that the tires are not safe.

Everything that I hear is conjecture

from other people and comments on our other videos.

I have no firsthand experience with that.

Now I did have one of the GS that's on the truck right now.

Well it's not on the truck right now but one

of the ferries that I bought in the set developed

the crack right down the middle and BFG did

not replace those under any kind of a warranty.

They were replaced under the road hazard warranty

which has nothing to do with quality or anything.

Sixth are they a good deal.

Well that it's going to depend on you if you can

receive a set of tires at your home or business.

That's not a problem if you have a pickup truck

or a vehicle where you can put all of your tires in it all at

once and Holum to entire shop.

And good for you and you don't mind

doing it then yeah I mean it's could be a good deal.

Just realize you're going to spend at least twenty

five dollars per hire to have them around

an unbalanced and probably more.

That's just what it costs around here.

So it's not necessarily super cheap.

The set that I had was for tires and a spare

and it was 140 dollars to have them mounted balanced disposed.

Plus they also will sometimes charge

you unmounted fee for the tires that you have

on your vehicle now.

So you got to pay that fee plus the mounting unbalancing.

So it's just something to think about.

Seventh on this show here's the review here's five reasons

that we're not running the Treadwrights on the 4Runner

anymore.

The number five reason is going to be handling now

these tires had kind of a little shimmy

they would they would change directions a lot.

On the freeway with those little dips

that are in the freeway from the trucks I noticed

that at first quite a bit.

And I noticed that it went away when I put the BFG back on.

So that was an issue.

I've since discovered there were several front end

issues with the foreigner that may have been causing that.

So something to think about is kind

of like I don't know if this is 100 percent

because of the Treadwrights Could be another issue.

So you know these are also these are these are heavy

tires and they're stiff tires with a 10 ply sidewalls

and the remolding process these are going to be a lot stiffer

than what you're used to probably.

So that's going to affect handling and comfort

and ride and everything.

Number four traction but these tires I think

honestly everybody knows what the tread pattern

is with the BFG with the Treadwrights

Warden it's same as the old BFG all trains.

And honestly I think they're pretty comparable to that tire.

They're not you know amazing but they're

not terrible.

And so I think you know given the price point we'll do

a little bit slippy on gravel and they tend

to slide sideways a bit.

And we didn't the experiment too much with tire pressures.

Imagine if you lower the tire pressure quite

a bit that you could get through some of that and some

of the handling issues as well.

So it's a little bit of experimenting you need

to do with these tires I think because of the remolding

process.

We had I'd have noticed that they slid around

a little bit on this round about near a house in the rain

and that was an issue.

Honestly though the old B.F.

Goodrich all terrains that shared the same tread

pattern I think they had the same issues

so I think again it's a good value given

the price point that they come out.

Threet vibration there was a constant sort

of oscillating vibration with these tires anywhere

over forty five miles an hour for the entire time we had him

on the car never went away.

Could have been a balancing issue could have

been just a tread issue.

I don't know.

Number two is wait the Treadwrights weighed

almost 10 pounds more than the BFGs and that's

that's pretty significant for a vehicle

like this with that kind of underpowered to begin with.

And it's under geared to begin with as well.

So that's some to think about if you're going

to a like this they are going to be on the heavier end.

Of course the fees are on the light end.

So industrywide it may be comparable.

The number one reason we're not running these tires anymore.

They're just too darn big.

The BFG is about 31 and a half inches tall in stock form.

You know when they were new.

And the Tred rights were 32 and a half new.

So they're quite a bit bigger.

They're noticeably bigger.

You roll one next to even when it before it's mounted.

They were a lot bigger than B.F.

GS.

So if you're looking for to get as big

a partyer as you possibly can from a 265 65 75 16

then hey you might like that.

I didn't like that for the 4Runner

for a couple of reasons.

Number one is gearing.

It's a manual and we were slipping

the clutch a lot going up hills pulling the trailer.

It was brutal.

It slows down noticeably from the BFG

crawling rock crawling off road.

Very noticeable.

Honestly the biggest reason that the size of such an issue

was that all four tires rub the fender wells with it went

four wheeling and even just driving into our

driveway had a big bump to go into our driveway.

The front left would grab every time and with the lift

we have on the truck it's pretty good for us

right now and I just didn't want to change that.

And so the two tires being that much oversized was really

the main deal breaker for us.

And then also the spare tire would not fit in the spare

tire well on the back of the car.

So I like having it there.

I like never seeing the spare tire.

I mean you almost never use it and you never see it.

It's just perfect.

So the Treadwright when mounted up on the spare rim Wood

would sort of bounce between the track bar on one

end and the trailer hitch on the other and I could have

taken the trailer hitch off but I need the trailer hitch

so had to leave that on there.

Okay so that's why we're not running the thread

rights on the forerunner anymore.

Temporary Protected Status | Battle To Rescue TPS Immigrant Families From Separation - Duration: 3:12.

By the end of 2019, six of ten countries will lose Temporary Protected Status (TPS).

This will put nearly 300,000 immigrants at sudden risk of being placed deportation proceedings.

Unless a recent lawsuit filed by the ACLU of Southern California halts their elimination.

The six countries at risk include:

Sudan - Termination Date: November 2, 2018

Nicaragua - Termination Date: January 5, 2019

Nepal - Termination Date: June 24, 2019

Haiti - Termination Date: July 22, 2019

El Salvador - Termination Date: September 9, 2019

Honduras: Termination Date: January 5, 2020

The lawsuit filed by the ACLU was on behalf of nine TPS beneficiaries

and five U.S. citizen children of TPS holders.

It seeks to stop termination of TPS

and prevent the separation of thousands of children from their parents.

The case raises an issue with far-reaching implications

for mixed status families in the United States.

Does the termination of TPS violate the due process rigths of U.S. citizen children

who are forced to choose between leaving their home country

or losing their parents?

On the one hand, the ACLU asserts, citizens have an absolute right to reside in this country.

On the other, families also have a fundamental right to live together

without unwarranted government interference.

A few weeks ago, a series of emails

were uncovered that showed a government bias in the TPS termination decisions.

Government staff were instructed to revise information showing problems existing in TPS countries.

Instead, they were told to seekout and highlight positive gems in the conditions of nations receiving TPS protection.

Why?

To slant the evidence in favor of sending TPS beneficiaries back to their home countries,

and to support the termination of the Temporary Protected Status program.

The implications of the lawsuit are two-fold.

On a micro level, of immigratioon programs cannot be eliminated without due process,

many immigrants will be spared from immidiate deportation.

On a macro level, if school-age U.S. citizen should not have to choose

between their country and their parents

the fabric of defense against deportation

in a wide variety of immigration cases

centered on family unification will have taken a huge lead forward

and transformed immigration law at its core.

That report comes on the heels of lawyers for Brett Kavanaugh's accuser Christine Blasey Ford saying that Ford has also received threats and has had to relocate with her family.

Senator Susan Collins, a Republican whose vote is considered key to the nomination, has also received threats, saying to WVOM: "My office has received some pretty ugly voicemails, threats, terrible things said to my staff.".

According to The Wall Street Journal, Brett Kavanaugh's wife, Ashley Estes Kavanaugh, "received violent threats" after Blasey Ford came forward to accuse Brett Kavanaugh of attempted rape dating to their high school years in the 1980s.

The Journal cited a "senior Trump administration official" for the report, saying the emails are being investigated by the U.S.

Marshals Service.

Ashley Estes Kavanaugh is a town manager in Chevy Chase, Maryland, a suburb of Washington D.

The Journal reports that the emails came to Ashley Kavanaugh's work email, both from the same email account.

"May you, your husband and your kids burn in hell," said one email, according to WSJ.

The other told her she should tell Brett Kavanaugh to "put a bullet in his … skull," reported WSJ.

CNN reports that Brett Kavanaugh has also received threats.

Brett Kavanaugh has denied Blasey Ford's accusations.

Christine Blasey Ford Has Also Received Threats.

Ashley Kavanaugh isn't the only person who has had to deal with frightening threats.

According to CNN, Christine Ford Blasey has also received threats.

Ford's lawyer, Debra Katz, wrote the Senate Judiciary Committee, "As you are aware, she has been receiving death threats, which have been reported to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and she and her family have been forced out of their home." Ford's lawyers have asked the committee to protect Blasey Ford's safety if she testifies.

Blasey Ford has two children and is married.

"She has been the target of vicious harassment and even death threats.

As a result of these kind of threats, her family was forced to relocate out of their home.

Her email has been hacked, and she has been impersonated online," a letter from Ford's lawyer says.

Ashley Kavanaugh Worked in the George W.

Bush Administration.

Both Brett and Ashley Kavanaugh served in the Bush administration and Bush nominated Brett M.

Kavanaugh to the position he currently holds on the U.S.

Court of Appeals in Washington D.C.

Trump revealed Kavanaugh as his pick for Supreme Court on July 9, 2018.

According to The Washington Examiner, "In 2004, Kavanaugh married presidential assistant Ashley Estes, who gave birth to their daughter, Margaret, 13 months later.

The family lives in Chevy Chase, directly across the street from White House Counsel Dan Bartlett.".

Ashley Estes Kavanaugh, the spouse of Brett Kavanaugh, has deep ties to the administration of George W.

Bush as well.

Her links to Bush go back to his days as Texas governor.

According to her LinkedIn page, Ashley Estes Kavanaugh worked as media relations coordinator for the George W.

Bush Presidential Center from 2009-2010; worked as Director of Special Projects for the George W.

Bush presidential Foundation from 2005 to 2009; was President George W.

Bush's personal secretary from 2001 to 2005; was an assistant in the White House from 2001 to 2005; and worked on the Bush-Cheney 2000 campaign from 1996 to 2000.

Her time with Bush dates to his work in Texas as governor there.

She was assistant to Governor George W.

Bush from 1996 to 1999.

She attended the University of Texas at Austin from 1994 to 1997.

Her LinkedIn page says she is Town Manager, Section 5 of the Village of Chevy Chase, Maryland.

A newsletter for the town reports, "She has lived in Section 5 on Underwood Street for the last ten years along with her husband, Brett, and their two daughters, Margaret and Liza.".

Treadwright Tire Review: 5 Reasons I Took The Warden's Off our 4Runner - Duration: 9:35.

>> SPEAKER 1: Friends this is Mike and today I'm

going to talk to you about why we're not running

the Treadwrights on the 4Runner anymore.

So a lot of questions about if we're running

the Treadwrights anymore and if not why we're not

running them anymore what we think of them

and I've sort of held off posting a full on review

of these tires.

But I think you know now I'm ready to do it.

So we're going to talk about the five reasons five

reasons that I'm not running the Treadwrights

anymore.

First a few disclaimers.

Number one this isn't a hate video.

Now I'm not going to sit here and talk about how

something or people are terrible or companies bad

or what you should spend your money on.

I have no bad experience with trade right.

They treated me well and I think it's a fine

company and have no problem with them at all.

Number two the tires that we had on the 4runner

were the 265 75 16 and the tread pattern

was the warden all terrain.

Now these were light truck tire and they were 10 ply range tire.

Third full disclosure I did contact trade right

initially and asked them if they would like to send

me some tires for review.

They did.

They sent me the tires and I've posted my review.

And so this is it's I got paid for myself.

They did send them to me.

I did pay to have them mounted.

So you know that's just one of you know

that that's where we stand with trade right right now.

Fourth I've had no bad experiences

with the Treadwrighwright tires.

They didn't have any failures.

Didn't have any major issues that made

it so that I couldn't use the tires or made

it so they felt they were unsafe so I didn't

actually experience anything anything bad or catastrophic

or any failures of any kind.

Fifth are they safe.

I personally have had no experiences

that leads me to believe that the tires are not safe.

Everything that I hear is conjecture

from other people and comments on our other videos.

I have no firsthand experience with that.

Now I did have one of the GS that's on the truck right now.

Well it's not on the truck right now but one

of the ferries that I bought in the set developed

the crack right down the middle and BFG did

not replace those under any kind of a warranty.

They were replaced under the road hazard warranty

which has nothing to do with quality or anything.

Sixth are they a good deal.

Well that it's going to depend on you if you can

receive a set of tires at your home or business.

That's not a problem if you have a pickup truck

or a vehicle where you can put all of your tires in it all at

once and Holum to entire shop.

And good for you and you don't mind

doing it then yeah I mean it's could be a good deal.

Just realize you're going to spend at least twenty

five dollars per hire to have them around

an unbalanced and probably more.

That's just what it costs around here.

So it's not necessarily super cheap.

The set that I had was for tires and a spare

and it was 140 dollars to have them mounted balanced disposed.

Plus they also will sometimes charge

you unmounted fee for the tires that you have

on your vehicle now.

So you got to pay that fee plus the mounting unbalancing.

So it's just something to think about.

Seventh on this show here's the review here's five reasons

that we're not running the Treadwrights on the 4Runner

anymore.

The number five reason is going to be handling now

these tires had kind of a little shimmy

they would they would change directions a lot.

On the freeway with those little dips

that are in the freeway from the trucks I noticed

that at first quite a bit.

And I noticed that it went away when I put the BFG back on.

So that was an issue.

I've since discovered there were several front end

issues with the foreigner that may have been causing that.

So something to think about is kind

of like I don't know if this is 100 percent

because of the Treadwrights Could be another issue.

So you know these are also these are these are heavy

tires and they're stiff tires with a 10 ply sidewalls

and the remolding process these are going to be a lot stiffer

than what you're used to probably.

So that's going to affect handling and comfort

and ride and everything.

Number four traction but these tires I think

honestly everybody knows what the tread pattern

is with the BFG with the Treadwrights

Warden it's same as the old BFG all trains.

And honestly I think they're pretty comparable to that tire.

They're not you know amazing but they're

not terrible.

And so I think you know given the price point we'll do

a little bit slippy on gravel and they tend

to slide sideways a bit.

And we didn't the experiment too much with tire pressures.

Imagine if you lower the tire pressure quite

a bit that you could get through some of that and some

of the handling issues as well.

So it's a little bit of experimenting you need

to do with these tires I think because of the remolding

process.

We had I'd have noticed that they slid around

a little bit on this round about near a house in the rain

and that was an issue.

Honestly though the old B.F.

Goodrich all terrains that shared the same tread

pattern I think they had the same issues

so I think again it's a good value given

the price point that they come out.

Threet vibration there was a constant sort

of oscillating vibration with these tires anywhere

over forty five miles an hour for the entire time we had him

on the car never went away.

Could have been a balancing issue could have

been just a tread issue.

I don't know.

Number two is wait the Treadwrights weighed

almost 10 pounds more than the BFGs and that's

that's pretty significant for a vehicle

like this with that kind of underpowered to begin with.

And it's under geared to begin with as well.

So that's some to think about if you're going

to a like this they are going to be on the heavier end.

Of course the fees are on the light end.

So industrywide it may be comparable.

The number one reason we're not running these tires anymore.

They're just too darn big.

The BFG is about 31 and a half inches tall in stock form.

You know when they were new.

And the Tred rights were 32 and a half new.

So they're quite a bit bigger.

They're noticeably bigger.

You roll one next to even when it before it's mounted.

They were a lot bigger than B.F.

GS.

So if you're looking for to get as big

a partyer as you possibly can from a 265 65 75 16

then hey you might like that.

I didn't like that for the 4Runner

for a couple of reasons.

Number one is gearing.

It's a manual and we were slipping

the clutch a lot going up hills pulling the trailer.

It was brutal.

It slows down noticeably from the BFG

crawling rock crawling off road.

Very noticeable.

Honestly the biggest reason that the size of such an issue

was that all four tires rub the fender wells with it went

four wheeling and even just driving into our

driveway had a big bump to go into our driveway.

The front left would grab every time and with the lift

we have on the truck it's pretty good for us

right now and I just didn't want to change that.

And so the two tires being that much oversized was really

the main deal breaker for us.

And then also the spare tire would not fit in the spare

tire well on the back of the car.

So I like having it there.

I like never seeing the spare tire.

I mean you almost never use it and you never see it.

It's just perfect.

So the Treadwright when mounted up on the spare rim Wood

would sort of bounce between the track bar on one

end and the trailer hitch on the other and I could have

taken the trailer hitch off but I need the trailer hitch

so had to leave that on there.

Okay so that's why we're not running the thread

rights on the forerunner anymore.

The Dolphins eventually took a 20-0 lead into halftime, after the Jets botched a drive at the end of the first half that resulted in no points.

New York held suit in the second half, but dug too deep of a hole thanks to three turnovers and lost 20-12; Darnold's second interception came in the back of the endzone after Terrelle Pryor misplayed where the football would go.

Running back Isaiah Crowell gets a matchup against his former team.

In two games this season for the Jets, Crowell has 22 carries for 137 yards and two touchdowns, while being in a timeshare with eight-year veteran Bilal Powell.

Both defenses have performed well through two weeks, so Thursday should be a relatively close, low-scoring game.
