Perhaps I let my own beliefs cloud my judgement a little, and I may knock her down a few points,
but I still like Mothwing and think she does a great job.
NOW.
If a character abuses or neglects someone under their care, especially if it's a child,
that's an automatic zero from me.
No matter their reason.
I will have no sympathy.
Yes, that includes Bluestar giving up her kits.
It was irresponsible and foolish and cost Mosskit her life, whether it would have saved
Thunderclan from certain doom or not.
So let's talk about Rainflower.
If you don't know, because you haven't read the special edition Crookedstar's Promise
or have blocked her out of your memory, Rainflower is Crookedstar's mother.
She's a horrible person.
Why?
Well, Crookedstar wasn't born Crookedkit.
In fact, he was born Stormkit, brother of Oakkit and son of Rainflower and Shellheart.
An accident broke his jaw and it healed crooked.
Rainflower was the one who suggested he be named Crookedkit, rather than Stormkit.
It's a cruel name to give a child, or anyone for that matter, but it wasn't the only
cruel thing Rainflower did to her son.
Rather than be by his side, helping him to heal and cope with love, she spurns him.
She mourns over the loss of his looks, rather than being glad he would survive.
Rainflower refuses to even look at Crookedkit, unable to stand his now twisted mouth, and
even forces him to sleep apart from herself and his brother.
She refocuses all of her love and affection towards Oakkit, and outright calls him stronger
than his brother and therefore more worthy of being Shellheart's apprentice.
Rainflower also refuses to stay in the nursery with him, and forbids him from any training,
despite him being old enough and big enough to be a proper apprentice.
Rainflower says Oakheart is better than Crookedpaw at the former's warrior ceremony and always
would be.
And why did she do this?
It didn't fit into her vision of the perfect family.
We all know that vision, right?
Married to a successful and beautiful person, being successful yourself, having a few kids
who are just as beautiful as you'd always dreamed, and having everything always be perfect.
It's hard to have a dream shattered, but my family knows better than most that family
doesn't stop at good health or money.
We don't love each other any less or neglect each other because a huge change occurred.
Rainflower, however, couldn't handle that.
Her one true goal, her vision for her life, was dashed by one incident, and she couldn't
cope with it.
If one of her two beautiful talented perfect children wasn't perfect anymore, then why
should he be in her family at all?
Shellheart, at least, called her out on her repulsive behavior several times, though he
did little in the way of actually preventing it.
Yeah, Shellheart, she does have trouble admitting when she's wrong, and I hope to StarClan
that she groveled when Crookedstar made it there.
I also understand Crookedstar's grief at her death.
Despite her deplorable actions, he still loved her deeply and wanted to make her proud.
In that moment, I was more sad for Crookedstar's personal irrational guilt than that Rainflower
had died.
It really boils my blood, in all honesty.
Family is people who love you, even for your imperfections, who may call you out and be
angry with you, but only because they know you could be better, and out of deep affection.
Family isn't blood, family is love, and if you can't love your son after he's
no longer fitting into your perfect picturesque ideal—
Then maybe you were never his family at all.

I got sick already this year.
Today, I am going to talk about things that I was surprised after living in Hawaii.
First of all,
Never been punctual.
People living in hawaii are not on time regardless of public like the bus.
For example, if a dinner starts at 6:00,
people come around 7:00.
Then, the dinner will start around 7:30.
Always like this.
So, if you really wanna start a dinner at 6:00,
you have to tell people that the dinner starts at 5:00,
so come over by 5:00.
Or they won't come by 6:00.
Well... this is good thing of Hawaii that is not bound by time.
Next,
Never used umbrellas.
In Japan, people do not want their makeup to come off
or they do not want their hair to get messy
and of course, they do not want to get wet,
so they use an umbrella even in light rain.
However, in Hawaii,
Even if it buckets down, people do not use an umbrella.
I use an umbrella, when it's raining,
because I don't want to get wet
and inside of every building is super cold,
so I use umbrella to avoid to get wet.
But if I use an umbrella in light rain,
I feel embarrassed if I'm the only one using it.
Do you guys know Jesus slippa?
This is it!
In Hawaii, I see this everywhere,
any you can buy anywhere in Hawaii.
This is really comfortable and you never get tired,
so a lot of people wear it.
When I first saw this, I got surprised.
I thought these are toilet slippers
and the person who wore these forgot to switch her shoes in a bathroom.
But now, I got used to Hawaiian style,
I wear these everyday!
Everything is expensive.
Very expensive.
I think vegetables are most expensive
Since Hawaii is an island,
Most of things are shipped and imported from mainland or other countries,
so the shipping cost makes everything expensive.
For poor,
foods are the most important for our lives,
but I am stingy with even food
because it's expensive ( and I'm poor).
I just came back from shopping~
How much does it cost to buy these?
The answer is
$ 27.05
If I spent $ 3 more, it would be $ 30.
Only buying these costs $30...
Next,
even though Hawaii is expensive
Welfare is pretty good.
My husband is a student,
and we have a baby.
But, my husband can get scholarship from government,
and he receives $5000 a year.
And he doesn't need to pay back.
So it is really helpful.
Also, when I got pregnant,
I applied for WIC,
and we get some food for free every month.
Fruits or veggies for $11
Bottle of juice
Canned fish, cereal, egg
Yogurt, peanuts butter,
Soymilk, Tofu,
Cheese, dried beans
tortillas, and so on.
Furthermore,
medical costs are expensive.
Mediquest is an insurance and has some branches
and I got Aloha Care from amongst that.
And, medical fee is free.
The hospital bills were free when I gave birth, and doctor bills were also free.
So it was really helpful.
And then,
After giving birth, we got Foodstamps
It will give you $300 each month
with a card like a credit card.
You can use it most of stores,
and you can buy food for $300 every month.
so I am so grateful for those supports.
Becasue of them, we can live even though we are poor
Becasue we have good welfare support,
even poor people can live.
Card looks like this.
You can use it like a credit card.
You just swipe it at a casher.
Finally,
Drivers license is really cheap!
In japan, it costs around $2000~3000,
I got it for $1900.
I want to get Hawaii license,
so I got permit recently.
I paid only $5 for paper test!
And the road test is around $10.
Drivers license is $ 20 for younger than 25 years old for 4 years.
For 25 years old and older is $40 for 8 years.
So different from Japan.
There is no school like in Japan,
you practice on the real road.
Those are things made me surprised in Hawaii.

oh yeah i have till 6am honestly I have
to like 550 something but i kind of want
to look around the room a little more to
kind of see what's going on
like what and in the main menu you can
actually look around the room so which
is also cool like how they redid the
main menu in this game now I had the
background noises hey how like how they
redid the main menu in this game it's
the Thunder to the main menu is actually
the kids room
it's cool i don't really remember it
being that interactive before help

the jump scare because i press the wrong
button sits the flashlight button I
pressed together under the bed button
