good morning welcome to mental aerobics
a chance for you to tune up your
thinking and get yourself in a state of
mind where you get the most out of your
day
the purpose of this short five-minute
portion of tape is designed to use each
morning to help you to literally review
what you've learned in this tape and
really operate your brain with more
effectiveness and more efficiency that
maybe ever before
what you need to do to be able to do
this is maybe at this time notice where
you are in your VCR and Mark the numbers
so you can get back to this each morning
very quickly and very easily so let's
begin with a very quick review
point number one is remember what
generates how you feel and how you
behave recall our graphic here that all
human behavior is the result of your
state of mind and body and you can
change that state of how you feel
instantly I want to give you right now are
a series of pictures of people who are
in an outstanding states.. were feeling
really phenomenal what I want you to do
is just take a moment and adopt their
exact same physiology and feel exactly
as they feel trying to adopt and imagine
that you are that person because each of
these are obviously peak states let's
start with number one and right now feel
as if you're this person right now
experiencing this moment and enjoy it
for a moment let that signal go to your
brain that put you in that kind of
peak state like a champion
now let's take on the second one trigger
your brain to feel these ecstatic
feelings at this moment right now
excellent now we've done a little
physiology tuned up let's see if there's
anything in our minds that maybe needs
to be changed
maybe you have some images of the day or
some challenges that are coming up or
maybe something with Sad and
unreasonable you want to change
now's your chance take a moment and
scrambler it.. that is going your mind see
that situation was bothering you and
running backwards very rapidly changing
the color the shape the size of the
sounds that you're listening to great
next close your eyes right now and get a
big bright clear picture of how you want
this day to be how you want to live your
life today and what I want you to do
with that image is please step into the
image so you're fully associated be
there take a deep breath in blow it out
slowly
and feel yourself experiencing the day
as you want it to be.. next step is we're
going to do seven swish patterns we
want to do is program ourselves to
continually grow and move towards the
ideal idea of ourselves
here's how it's going to work remember
the switch patterns very simple you'll
see on the screen here a red picture the
red picture is a picture of yourself as
you presently perceive yourself in the
bottom right hand corner you'll see a
little green square that's kind of dim
here to start in that square right now
create an image of yourself an image of
you that would really inspire you an
image of how you would like to be and
then this pattern here on the screen
will help you to do your switch patterns
are rapidly and very easily what you
begin to see now is first we'll do it
slowly bottom right hand green of how
you want things to be notice as slowly
getting bigger bigger brighter bigger
brighter and it will break through now
let's do it again we see the picture of
how we are presently ..we see the
improvement we want to experience and
what we do is a little bit faster and
you're going to hear the swish sound here
we go ready
ready seven in a row
follow the pattern and have fun while
you're doing it smile reach down and
grab onto that green square and pull it
forward to the pace that you see on the
screen go for Roush here we go again
whoosh here we go again whoosh
here we go again slow faster whoosh
little faster eh a little faster use
here's number six let's do some anchors
very quickly.. on the film we did some
anchors using snapping fingers let's go
through for emotional states that by
having these at your fingertips
literally will help you really be able
to change quickly today
here's the first one a state of confidence
and unstoppable ility right now in front
of the screen take on a posture of how
you be standing if you felt totally
confident totally strong totally
committed to your goal and unstoppable
and you say well I don't know what
that's like.. pretend you do take on that
posture right now stand as if you were
totally confident take on that facial
expression three the way to be breathing
if you're unstoppable and
are you at the peak of feeling that way
linked something to it
take your fingers for example and
snapping and each time you snap them
feel a little bit more confident little
bit stronger make yourself feel stronger
and stronger and more confident more
unstoppable so you're feeling really
good now let's add a second emotion that
can help you
the emotional feeling totally loved so
right now sit or stand-up if you're
standing way to be standing if you felt
really totally loved right now if you
felt really good inside if you felt
unconditional love you put confidence
and love together if you have a high level
security you won't be pushing other
people for it..you are having it inside you can
do it right now confidence in love
confidence and love confidence and love
excellent now here's state number three
to add to this list at number three is
one of laughter just think about what it
feels like if you hear best jokes you have heard
or something silly that happened or
think about how silly is you're standing
in front of this TV listening me
snapping your fingers.. whatever helps you
but while you're laughing snap your
fingers while you're feeling that funny
feeling snap your fingers fun feeling or
laughter fun and laughter enjoying
yourself with a big smile on your face
snap your fingers and combining
confidence and feeling loved and laughter
or just a fun feeling and combine those
together so you feel them over and over
again so you can snap your fingers you
feel your body feeling really great.. excellent
now let's combine one more last one is
real simple happiness and joy
move your body the way you be moving if
you felt really happy and really joyful
and as you're feeling those feelings are
feeling really happy and really joyful
snap your fingers and combine all those
together so you've got confidence
unstopability feeling totally love
feeling laughter and happy and joyful
combine them all together so in the
middle of day if you're not feeling very
good you just like this and all the
sudden you feel there you go like this
and go yes and what it will do is a little
triggering you a set of states and one
last eight here to wrap up this mental
aerobics to tune yourself up to start your day
click on one more state state of
gratitude because I believe an attitude
of gratitude will certainly make your
life a lot more joyful maybe you feel
the same way but just think right now
how would you be standing how would you
be breathing
if you realize you've got an incredible
gift right now it's called another day
of your life and if you really associate
the joy of that.. associated the feelings
of gratitude of who you are and where
you live in the world and what
opportunities you have you've got it all
right now all the resources you need
there's no meaning in life except the
meaning you create..you are in charge of this
mind and brain
we've got to be grateful for this
incredible vessel you get to pick use of
taking part in and maybe you want to
complete this day by adopting this
physiology the physiology of somebody
you really respect or maybe this example
right here and I leave you for reminding
