Youtube daily report w Jan 6 2017

Hey, Priscilla Presley.

- Hey there, how are you doing?

WAYNE: I'm good.

- Good. WAYNE: So what do you do?

- I'm ready to make a deal.

- I'm an intern that just moved to Los Angeles from Texas

two days ago.

WAYNE: All the way from Texas.

- What?

WAYNE: All the way from Texas.

- All the way from Texas.

My dad drove me all the way from Texas.

He's flying back right after the show.

WAYNE: You are a good man, dad.

- Yep.

He's a good dad.

WAYNE: So maybe we should make you a deal

so you can actually have something nice

that you are here in town.

- I'm living in one of those apartments

that you were talking about.

WAYNE: One of those.

So off camera, just so you know, we were talking about

not so great apartments here in L.A. that one could have.

So I tell you what, how about I give you some rent money,

$700 or this small box.

Whatever you do not take, Mark will get.

(audience yelling suggestions)

- The box?

Okay, okay, my dad said take the box,

so I'm going to take the box.

WAYNE: Dad, why should she take the box?

- I think that it's going to be about $2,000 in that box.

WAYNE: Dad, that's an awfully specific--

So you think there's $2,000 cash in the box.

- Yeah, we can use it.

I mean it was expensive driving here.

We drove all the way from Texas.

WAYNE: I could listen you talk all day.

How about-- well, dad, then what if I offered

your little girl $1,000?

(audience yelling suggestions)

But ultimately, it is her decision.

She's a grown woman now.

- $1,000 will pay for my rent this month.

(cheers and applause)

I lived on the shady side of the road and was looking at the other side,

Suspect Nursing Home Abuse or Neglect? | The Brad Hendricks Law Firm - Duration: 0:57.

It's very important to document the abuse and neglect and the first step would be to

make a complaint in writing.

Write a letter, send an e-mail, however you're most comfortable doing it to the administrator

or the person in charge at the nursing home.

The next thing to do would be to contact the office of long-term care for the state.

The office of long-term care keeps track of abuse and neglect in nursing homes and gives

them scorecards so that other people can look at past complaints of abuse and neglect.

And the office of long-term care has forms online to make that complaint.

And then the next step would be to hire an attorney.

Call us and we will help you correct the abuse and neglect of your loved one.

ADULT PEOPLE LIKE JUSTIN BIEBER SONGS! - [ITALIAN SUBS] - Duration: 4:57.

Hello guys, welcome back to Alexitobber Channel!

Christmas festivities have just ended, I hope

you have enjoyed them!

Now we have made a social experiment about Justin Bieber

In order to understand why so many people hate him.

We made random adult people listen to a song made by Justin, saying

it was made by a friend of ours.

Look at the results!

Excuse me, can I talk to you for a minute, please?

Well, a friend of mine is going to become a singer and so I would like to let you listen to a song made by him

in order to know your opinion!

Ok

It is not my kind of music. Okay, you only have to say if you like his voice

or if the song can become popular.

Oh yeah, it surely can become popular.

Yes?

Yes

Excuse me, can I talk to you for a minute, please?

Tell Me! Well, a friend of mine has made a song,

I would like to know your opinion about it.

So, in your opinion, this song can have success?

I don't know, it depends on tastes.

Yeah, in general?

I like music in general, personally I don't listen to it so much.

Yes but... it is a commercial song!

Yeah... it is melodic.

Excuse me, can I talk to you for a minute, please?

A friend of mine is going to be a singer and I would like to make you listen to his song

I would like to know your opinion Thanks

Do you like it?

Oh yes, really good! He is good at singing? Yes, really good!

Oh yeah, melodic songs usually...

So can it be successful?

Well... if you are discovered by big people in music industry, yes.

Can it be successful?

Can it be successful?

Well... why not?

Voice is good!

Is it a beautiful voice?

Oh yeah, but is that a girl?

No is a male friend of mine!

Ah... voice is... effeminate!

Yeah he has a particular voice!

However he is a friend of mine who is going to sing, so I am trying to understand

if he can become someone in the future or not.

Oh yeah, it is a modern song... for young people, not for old ones like me!

However really beautiful, very melodic... really beautiful!

Really... it should become successful, it is beautiful!

Really?

Yes. Good!

Not bad!

Do you like it?

Very... commercial!

Yeah it is commercial!

Yes, beautiful!

Ok!

So do you like it?

Yes!

Rhytm is not bad!

Good!

Yes, Justin Bieber!

Have you ever heard his name?

No! Never?

Ok...

Maybe, I don't know, but is he a singer...?

Justin Bieber is a famous singer!

We have done this social experiment because this singer is often

offended, and I think people often offend him because "that's trendy"

Justin Bieber... wait... I think... I have heard about him...

Ok guys, people we interviewed said the song was beautiful,

or that it could become successful!

That means one thing: as I imagined, hate against Justin Bieber is more

a prejudice, rather than something based on real motivations.

We made people listen to this song, it didn't suck so... my conclusion is that

maybe his music is not so bad as people usually say!

Obviously it is not high music, I am the first to admit it, but

it is also not that sh*t people often describe.

So this is a message I would like to say another time:

stop useless wars against music - the same thing I have said in the video about directioners -

there are no good music or bad music,

but only different tastes everyone should respect!

That's all guys, if you liked the video, don't forget to subscribe to the channel,

put like and share it with your friends.

I will wait for you in my next videos!

Bye guys!

The Biggest Psychology News Stories of 2016 - Duration: 6:11.

Every day, scientists are working toward a better understanding of the human mind.

And during 2016, there were some huge news stories involving psychology.

In July, for example, Pokemon GO took the world by storm.

Now you've probably heard way too much about it by now, you've probably installed and

uninstalled Pokemon GO on your phone by now, but just in case you don't know what this

is:

It is a smartphone game that combines augmented reality technology with GPS, so you can wander

around your neighborhood and "catch" Pokemon in the real world.

With more downloads during its first week than any other iPhone app in history, it's

clear that something about Pokemon GO really spoke to us – but what?

The game is too new for psychologists to have conducted any studies, but we know from past

research that different parts of the game really appeal to our brains.

For many young adults, this reboot of a classic game gave them lots of nostalgia, which seems

like a sad emotion, but it's actually good for you psychologically.

Nostalgia increases optimism and social connectedness by reminding you of good times, like trading

Pokemon cards or battling on the playground with friends.

Not to mention, this game gets you out of the house.

And exercise is good for mental health, lowering levels of stress hormones like cortisol and

adrenaline, and releasing endorphins to improve your mood.

Also, the game is super rewarding.

Catching new Pokemon and leveling up are digital rewards, but they're exciting and frequent,

and keep you hooked.

No word yet on why so many of us stopped playing… maybe it's because people start leveling

up slower, or finding fewer new Pokemon, so that sense of achievement started going away.

Or maybe it's just because our batteries kept dying and we were like, 'oh, I actually

need my phone for- for other things… besides Pokemon'.

In other news, last spring, scientists announced that some brain research might be seriously

affected by computer problems.

Functional magnetic resonance imaging, or fMRI, is a technique that uses electromagnets

to measure brain activity safely, without sticking anything in there.

And it does that by measuring blood flow.

When regions of the brain are active – when those neurons are firing in response to a

stimulus or task – they need more oxygen, so more blood flows there.

Researchers depend on computer programs to analyze fMRI data and figure out if changes

in blood flow are significant or not.

For a couple years, there's been talk in scientific communities about possible problems

with these computer programs.

And in May, a study reported that they might be getting it wrong more often than they should.

Some scientists decided to test popular software programs for fMRI analysis on some resting-state

fMRI data from almost 500 control subjects.

Normally, they'd expect to see a false positive rate of about 5%, meaning that 5% of the time,

the software would say that there's a change in brain activity when there wasn't really

a change.

Instead, with some analysis methods, the scientists found higher false positive rates, sometimes

even up to 70%, meaning that the software was artificially inflating the significance

of the results.

This has gotten a bit overblown with lots of headlines saying "15 years of fMRI data

are bunk".

Not all fMRI research uses the specific kinds of analysis that seem to have problems.

Some past fMRI studies will need reevaluating, if they used these specific programs and kinds

of analyses, and especially if their results weren't strongly significant in the first

place.

But this is not the end of fMRI.

With this information, programmers can design better software for the future, and scientists

are encouraged to share more of their data for easier double-checking with newer analysis

methods.

Lastly, near the end of the year, some scientists found that men who upheld masculine norms,

especially ones associated with sexism, had worse mental health than those who didn't.

The meta-analysis that made these big, controversial waves was published in November, looking at

78 studies with almost 20,000 male participants.

The researchers focused on behavioral norms that could be considered traditionally masculine,

like dominance, violence, and the pursuit of status.

And they asked whether or not strong attachment to these kinds of norms could predict mental

health conditions, or willingness to seek psychological counseling.

They found that three things were especially associated with negative mental health outcomes:

self-reliance, pursuit of sexual promiscuity, and power over women.

Men who strongly valued those norms, which are also closely linked to sexist attitudes,

had a little bit more difficulty with social functioning and more psychological stress

than men who didn't.

This kind of makes sense for a few reasons.

Placing lots of value on being self-reliant can be alienating in our social and interconnected

culture, and it can make it harder to ask for help if you need it.

On the other hand, sexual promiscuity, which they describe as a "playboy" reputation,

and a desire to have power over women can have serious impacts on social relationships.

Holding onto these attitudes can be isolating – and isolation contributes to poor mental

health.

Combined with traditionally masculine norms like "men don't show emotion", men who

stick to these values might be less likely to seek mental health care.

It's important to know, of course, that the study has its limitations, too.

First, it was based on correlations between these norms and mental health, not experiments

where they changed variables to analyze causes and effects.

It only focused on participants from English-speaking countries, and a lot of them were white males

from the U.S.

So they can't know much about how holding these values affects other groups – like

women, or individuals in non-English-speaking countries.

And even though "playboy" behavior and self-reliance seem to have a negative impact,

other traditionally masculine behaviors – like putting work first, and taking a lot of risks

– weren't associated with poor mental health.

Finally, because the researchers only looked at one set of masculine norms, this research

doesn't say anything about the health impacts of less masculine or more feminine norms.

Even with these weaknesses, this meta-analysis highlights a need for psychologists to better

understand gendered values and the roles they play in our lives.

So, 2016 was a pretty wild year for a lot of reasons, and what we learned about psychology

was no exception.

All of this research sets up a foundation for psychologists to learn more in the future

- and we look forward to sharing more knowledge with you on our upcoming psychology channel,

The money-- now.

911, hold please.

Hold?

What are you doing?

This one!

[groans]

[gunshot]

My friend was killed a month and a half ago,

and since then, the 13th district has

been too busy laying off cops--

Mr. Reeves.

--to even mount an investigation.

I understand that you're upset.

Give me the 13th district.

Excuse me?

JUSTIN KIRK: I play a genius tech

billionaire who purchases a failing police precinct

and techs it up.

LEN WISEMAN: What if there was an Uber-style app

that replaced 911?

The APB app.

Real-time crime reports.

They just became your partners.

LEN WISEMAN: He's not a guy that would use the best

of what the military is using.

He would strive to push a step further.

We've upgraded your sidearms.

The next generation in taser.

Do the bad guys get toy guns too?

Actually not toy.

- Is he all right? - It's all right.

I pay that guy a lot of money.

LEN WISEMAN: We've seen a lot of cop shows

and this was an opportunity to play

into those traditional scenarios but attack

them in a much different way.

Anyone alive?

No, please, please. [crying]

Police, drop your weapons.

So are you impressed with my technology?

Maybe.

NATALIE MARTINEZ: And he sees kind

of what's going on with district 13

where I work-- overworked, underpaid.

A lot of stuff coming through there, not enough personnel

to kind of help out.

You see Gideon kind of come in and bring his new equipment

and his ways of solving problems.

Got a new coffee machine, too.

That thing costs more than my house.

NATALIE MARTINEZ: So you have the old and the new kind

of going at each other.

Why is some rich guy able to buy justice?

Is crime only an issue when it touches you?

This is about everybody who gets hurt when cops don't get

the resources to do the job.

Long story short, we're going to change the world.

The Gotta Catch 'em All Yoyo Trick - Evan Nagao Tutorials - Duration: 5:52.

This trick is called Gotta Catch 'Em All, and this is what it looks like:

To start this trick off, you are going to do the same throw as YoTricks' finger spins

tutorial.

And that is a horizontal throw from your opposite shoulder, outwards.

Then you are going to do a Pinwheel, just one time.

Then you are going to throw the yoyo up, slack around your neck, and land it in a fingerspin.

You will notice that the string is coming from my yoyo finger over my opposite shoulder,

around my neck, and the string is going over both of my arms.

My opposite arm is under my throw arm.

This element may seem intimidating at first, but I am going to teach you a few intermediary

steps that will help you ease your way through it.

The first step is to throw a trapeze.

You are going to pinch.

Then swing your throw arm close to your body, under your opposite arm, and over your neck.

Now the incorrect way to do it would be to do it like this, where the string is coming

from your throw arm over your throw shoulder.

You want to make sure the string is coming over your opposite shoulder and that your

arms end up crossed.

Once you have got that down, the second intermediary step is to just do the same whip with the

yoyo sleeping.

You are going to pull the yoyo up, swing your arm around again and create the slack.

Throw it over your neck.

As you can see, the yoyo is in this same position is would be if you were to do the actual finger

spin element.

Finally, you are going to do the actual element which is to throw the horizontal throw and

then whip the string over your neck and land it on the finger spin with your opposite arm

under your throw arm.

Once you have landed the finger spin, you are then going to take this string off of

your neck, swinging the slack down.

Then put it onto your wrist.

To do this, immediately after you have taken the slack off your neck, you are then going

to swing the slack down and you are going to take your thumb on your throwhand, place

it under the string connected to the yoyo, and slip it onto your wrist.

From here, you are going to pop the yoyo up and land it on a finger spin on your throwhand.

While you are doing that, you are going to hook the string connected to the yoyo with

your middle finger of your opposite hand.

Then you are going to take your thumb and remove it from the string coming from your

wrist.

At the same time, you are going to put your index finger in the place of your middle finger

where it was hooking.

Then you are going to take your middle finger and place it on top of the strings coming

from your index finger.

Then you are going to let go of the string coming from your thumb on your throwhand.

This will create a slack.

You are then going to throw the slack over the yoyo, onto your finger.

Make sure to pull tight enough so that there is no slack.

At the same time, do not pull too tight, otherwise the yoyo might fall off your finger.

You are going to slowly raise your hand, keeping your middle finger above your thumb of your

opposite hand.

This will allow the string to go into the gap of the yoyo.

Then you are going to pull on your thumb and release your middle finger of your opposite

hand.

This will cause the yoyo to start to bind.

You are going to then raise your opposite hand and let the yoyo tornado bind.

Make sure you keep the strings apart, otherwise the tornado might catch on the other string,

and it will not work.

Then you are going to pop the yoyo up.

As you are doing this, you hands are going to switch positions.

Your throwhand is going to be on top, while you land the yoyo on your opposite hand to

do another tornado bind.

Then you are going to bring your arms together and catch the yoyo.

If you do the trick correctly, it should look something like this:

Also if you hit all the elements in rapid succession, it should make the trick go by

faster so that the yoyo has enough spin time so you can end the trick.

And that is Gotta Catch 'Em All.

For more infomation >> The Gotta Catch 'em All Yoyo Trick - Evan Nagao Tutorials - Duration: 5:52.

GRWM and current trans rights issues | Milo Stewart - Duration: 6:43.

Hi! I've been feeling really inspired

lately to put some pretty [censored] on my face in

front of a camera and talk to you about

things while I do that. That's what

you're watching right now. I'm using my

viewfinder and a small hand-held mirror

to do my makeup in this video, so that's

how you know it's gonna look good. I mean

we're already off to a great start. So a

transgender bathroom bills have been a

really hot topic for a while, but they're

just coming back into the news because

we can't seem to get rid of the

transphobia even though, you know, we

repeat these conversations about how

trans people aren't a danger to cis people in

the bathroom, and no one's learning

anything from these conversations, so

keep seeing bills pop up. Texas is trying

to pass this Texas Privacy Act. I'm

living in Texas right now, and it's only

slightly terrifying. I had a dentist

appointment this morning to get my teeth

cleaned, and my dentist has really fancy

TVs above the chairs that you have to

sit and when you get your teeth cleaned.

The news was playing while I was getting

my teeth cleaned,

so I'm like, "All right I'm - I mean - I have

nothing better to do but to watch this."

The dentist's assistant had been talking

to me while trying to clean my teeth,

which is always annoying because like I

would love to establish a relationship

between, you know, me and my medical

professionals, but I can't do that when

you're sticking metal stuff in my mouth.

It doesn't - it doesn't work like that. She

had left the room at the time that the

transgender bathroom bill story came on

the news, so I was just praying to the

Lord that she did not walk back and try

to start up a conversation with me about

transgender rights because that was not

a conversation that I want to have when

I had sharp objects in my mouth. I don't

know why cisgender people have to be

perpetually victimizing

themselves over the existence of transgender

people. Like, I just want to do is pee.

We just want to pee or poop or, you know,

whatever - just use the bathroom for

bathroom things. We don't - that's it.

That's really it. I consider myself

somewhat of an expert on bathrooms

seeing as I have used both men's women's

and gender neutral bathrooms in my

lifetime, and I can safely say that

cisgender boys have done much worse in

bathrooms than I have ever done.

I have dead [censored] walked into a boy's

bathroom and seen a Whattaburger - that's

a fast food chain in Texas - a Whattaburger

bag stuffed in a toilet. In these

conversations, I'm pretty sure that

cisgender people don't realize that

transgender men exist, and for those who

are new to these conversations,

transgender men are people who are assigned

female at birth but who identify as male.

Under this Texas Privacy Act, it would be

so much easier for either cisgender or

transgender men to claim that they are

trans and then walk into the women's

bathroom to perv on women because they

just claim that they're legally female

and they're trans. That's way easier than,

you know, putting on a full like female

outfit - "female outfit" - to say that

they're a trans woman. Privacy acts are

making it easier for people to do gross

things in bathrooms. Plus, it's increasing

hate and hostility towards trans people.

So I know people are really passionate

about the National Geographic cover

"gender revolution" thing recently, but i

actually have a cute story to tell about

that. My dad was talking up something he

wanted to tell us at dinner all day

today. He was really excited about this.

He told me that I would be really

excited about it, so that made me a

little bit nervous, but he was really

excited to tell us something at dinner.

So at dinner, I come out. My parents are

drinking wine, which is very unusual for

my parents. They're not big drinkers, and

so we sit down, and my dad is gonna tell

us the saying that he's excited about,

and then he starts crying, and it's - I

hugged him, and as it was emotional and

was like really sweet because my dad

isn't a super like big person for showing

his emotions, but yeah it was cute and

like sweet and sad, and then I saw he had

some like magazines in front of him, so I

was like, "Oh, is that the National

Geographic?" and he was like, "Yeah." I know

there was a lot of controversy around

the National Geographic, some of which I

agree with the criticisms on the article

and some of the criticisms I don't

particularly agree with, but I think like

you can't deny the effect that any type

of positive representation has on trans

people and their families.

My dad and I don't really talk about my

tran-sness ever, and he accidentally

miss genders me a lot, but after we had

this moment and I hugged him and we

talked about the article, he told me, "I'm

proud of you son,"

which I think is the first time he

vocally - like to me called me "son,"

which was really cute.

So this is a finished look. I'm really

proud of it, like I mean it's just like

my everyday routine. I started doing my

makeup this way when all these bathroom

bills were introduced and I needed a way

to say, "Hey, my birth certificate may not

say male, but I'm still going to use the boys'

bathroom."

I mean I would confidently go into the

boys' bathroom looking like this.

I think it's a look. I'd blend in well with

the cis. Thank you for watching this

video. I hope you enjoyed it.

Peace!

32 Overwatch Facts You Probably Didn't Know (2017) - Duration: 19:45.

You're watching GamerBrain, and you're about to learn the latest tips, tricks, and

fun facts about Overwatch.

1.

"Over-who?"

Did you know that Overwatch originally started out as a game called Titan?

This was a superhero MMO that was in development for seven years before being cancelled.

No one can say what it was about for sure, but here's what we do know:

1.

It would have taken place on Earth in the near future.

2.

The game zones would have spanned entire globe.

3.

You would have had a "day job" and became a super hero at night.

4.

One of the earlier characters for this game was Tracer.

Somehow she survived the cancelation and was brought back for Overwatch.

Before we go any further, I'd like to ask you a quick question.

Do you think that Overwatch has lived up to the hype and truly redefined the team deathmatch

experience as Blizzard promised?

Please leave a "yes" or "no" comment below, and while you are down there, clicking

"like" and subscribing would be a great help to the channel, too.

As for me, I think <answer>.

2.

"Sound Familiar?": Chris Metzen ["Met-zen"] is the voice of Bastion, but you've probably

heard him before as Thrall [video pronunciation video link] from Warcraft 3.

He also wrote the scripts for the Diablo series as well as Starcraft and, of course, Warcraft

as well.

3.

"Baby Got Back": There's no doubt that Widowmaker's low top and big booty have

captivated the hearts of nerds everywhere, but did you know that her derriere ["dairy-air"]

would respond to her ultimate in the alpha version?

For some reason, whenever she put her visor down, her posterior suddenly grew even larger.

This strange feature has since been thankfully scrapped in later versions of the game.

4.

"Separated By Design": If Hanzo and Genji look familiar to you, it's not just because

they are brothers.

The two were originally designed as one character, but he was way too overpowered, so Blizzard

decided to split him in two.

5.

"An Old Classic": Pharah's ["Fare-rah's"] character is heavily inspired by the classic

multiplayer deathmatch series, Tribes.

Take one look at the old gameplay and it becomes rather obvious.

By the way, before they could think of a name or a story, Pharah's original name was "Rocket

Dude", and later, "Rocket Queen".

6.

"First Pinata Shooter": On the Dorado ["Door-rod-dough"] map, you might notice

a rather familiar-looking piñata.

Die-hard Blizzard fans will immediately recognize it as none other than Diablo himself.

Unlike the real one, however, this version shoots out candy instead of lightning.

7.

"Mei's Character": Don't you guys think it's a little strange that a company

called Blizzard made a character with a special weapon that causes a bliz- ooooohh, I get

it.

Very clever, guys.

8.

"First Issue": You'll "get your kicks" from this Easter egg on the Route 66 level.

Sitting on one of the tables in dining area is a comic book called "Craft from the Stars".

This kind of sounds like another game that Blizzard made, but I can't quite remember

the name.

Star . . . Star-crah . . . Star-something.

Oh well, I'm sure it will come to me eventually.

9.

"Symmetra's ["Sim-met-tra's] Personality": Symmetra's behavioral traits are oftentimes

blunt and lack consideration.

This, combined with her line about "fitting on the spectrum", has led many to speculate

that she is perhaps supposed to have autism.

10.

"You Dirty Bastion": Bastion was considered a cheap character to use in early versions

of the game due to his unfair ultimate.

He originally could generate a shield to protect him, but this created an imbalance in gameplay.

However, you can basically recreate this effect if you have Reinhardt stand in front of Bastion

when he goes into turret mode.

It's a little more difficult to pull off, but still just as effective all the same.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4D1C7JU7ts You can see the alpha version of Bastion's

ability from :25-:40s.

11.

"Bastion Strikes Again": In an even earlier version of the game, Bastion would throw out

a remote mine that shoots in all directions when an enemy gets near.

It was pretty devastating, but, like almost everything about him back then, it also made

the game too unbalanced to keep.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YYGgC84GZQ

If you stop and stare at the robots in the background of the Volskaya ["Vol-sky-ya"]

Industries map long enough without getting fragged, you'll be able to catch them occasionally

bust a dance move.

Apparently somebody programmed these huge robots to boogey down.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3Gc78qIttY The breakdancing mech.

12.

"Yakkity Yak": The characters in Overwatch have 7 thousand lines of dialogue each.

13.

"Deep Purple": There is a reason why Widowmaker's skin is purple.

The mercenary group she worked for slowed her heart rate down so she could aim better.

This had the unintended side effect of causing her skin to turn the color you see in-game.

14.

"Grow Up": Torbjorn [Link to pronunciation video] is the shortest character in the game.

He stands at only 4 feet and 7 inches.

Reinhardt, on the other hand, is the tallest at 7-foot 4.

Bastion and Roadhog are exactly one inch shorter, and Winston is the same height as both of

them when he performs his ultimate.

Conversely, D.Va is the youngest character.

She's only 19.

Reinhardt is the oldest at 61.

So to be clear, Reinhardt is both the oldest and the tallest character in the game.

15.

"Hanamura ["Hannah-mur-rah"] Level Secret": There is a roof that you can access as Soldier

76 that is fairly helpful when defending.

Go on the other side of the wall on the far left side of the stage and stand in the corner.

Look down and jump immediately after performing Soldier 76's secondary attack to get to

the first level of the roof.

Repeat this a second time and you will now be on a rooftop that overlooks both points

of entry.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wOuX_i55D88 0-35 seconds.

16.

"Starcraft Lingo": D.Va's ["diva's] character is actually a professional Starcraft

2 player, which is why she uses phrases such as "GG" and "APM", which stand for

"good game" and "actions per minute".

She was undefeated in Starcraft 2 for 3 years straight.

Now she live broadcasts her Overwatch missions to fans.

17.

"Overstaffed": According to the game's lore, there were over 100 characters at one

point.

Hopefully we get to see them all in the game soon.

18.

"Zarya's Tattoo": The "512" that's tattooed on Zarya's shoulder stands for

the largest number of kilograms that she's ever lifted.

This translates into slightly over 1,128 pounds.

19.

"Ninja Guiding": Everyone knows that Genji's ["Gin-jee's"] deflection special is

the best thing to use against Bastion, but it can be used to deflect so much more.

You can knock Hanzo's ["Han-zoe's"] ultimate back at him, but you have to catch

the actual arrow itself – not the dragon.

You can also knock back the canister for Mei's ["May's"] ultimate, and you can even

deflect the explosives that Junkyard drops when he dies.

Hopefully this trick transforms you into the best ninja you can be.

20.

"Cut Weapons": In the game's original trailer, you'll see Reaper use a grenade

launcher when he fights Winston.

This weapon has been originally scrapped from the game.

Or perhaps he just threw all of them on the ground like he does with everything else.

21.

"The Biggest Beta": On May 12, 2016, Blizzard announced that 9.7 million players participated

in the public beta of Overwatch.

This astonishing number also won a second record for "Most Popular Beta for a Shooter".

22.

"Halo Reference": Pharah's green skin is called "Security Chief", and looks

an awful lot like "Master Chief" from the Halo series, name and all.

Whether this is a tribute or a thumb in the eye remains unclear.

23.

"Just Beat It": When Blizzard first put up the Route 66 level, they included an Easter

egg that they later thought was too dirty to keep.

Originally, when a player came across the outhouse, they would find magazines the floor

that were opened to 2-page spreads of Mercy and Symmetra.

Hmm, I wonder what the Deadlock Gang were up to?

I guess this level gets pretty lonely between matches.

This raunchy Easter egg apparently clashed with the rest of the game's innocent and

cartoony vibe, and it was apparently patched out later.

24.

"Hearing Enemy 'Ultimates'": You should always watch your language in Overwatch, and

I do mean that literally.

If you ever hear a player perform their ultimate in a different language, then it automatically

means they are on the enemy team.

Players on your team only speak English.

For example, Mercy will say "Heroes never die" in English when she revives a player

on your team, but if she revives an enemy, then she will say it in German.

Even the characters who only speak English still have two different catchphrases for

their special attack.

D'Va ["Diva"] will say "Nerf this" if she on the enemy team, and "Activating

self-destruct sequence" when she is on your side.

Knowing the difference between the two can help you decide whether to rush in for support,

or scatter for cover.

25.

"Other Helpful Audio Clues" The game's director, Jeff Kaplan ["Ka-plan"], told

Scott Lawler ["Law-ler"] and Tomas Neumann ["Toe-mas" "New-man"] that he wanted

the sound for Overwatch to contain so much strategic information, that players could

play the game with their monitors turned off.

The two sound designers didn't quite get that far, but they did manage to come close.

For example, every character has their own special sound effect for footsteps.

If you have a keen ear, you'll be able to tell who is approaching you without looking

behind your shoulder.

This also allows you to sneak up on players as Zenyatta ["Zen-yat-tah"].

In addition, enemy players have much louder footsteps than those of your teammates.

26.

"How to Level Up Fast": Forming into groups has always been a good idea, but in November

Blizzard made it more important than ever before.

You now automatically get a 20 percent XP bonus for forming in a group of 2-to-6 players,

so try to find at least one other person to join up with.

Not only are you helping each other level up, but you are also cooperating as a team

and experiencing the game to its fullest.

As always, you get an additional 1,500 XP for your first win of the day, but you also

additional 200 XP for each follow-up match, so don't stop there.

The consecutive-match-bonus is one of the best ways to easily level up fast.

Another low-effort way to gain extra XP is to join a match after somebody else quits.

This automatically gives you an extra 400 XP for filling in.

Of course, you have to complete the match without quitting yourself to get it.

Otherwise, you're no better than the last guy.

Overwatch has a level cap of 100, but the fun doesn't have to end there.

When you reach 101, your level restarts and you go back to 1 – but you will have a special

star to let everyone know that you are far from a noob.

When you hit level 1 again, you will level up extremely quickly, and you'll be able

to earn a ton of loot crates in short order.

27.

"How to Easily Win Escort Missions": If you can, try to have two Reinhardt characters

stand on the vehicle facing away from each other with their shields out.

It's even better if Bastion is shooting from within the center.

An alternate version of this method is to have Reinhardt stand in front of Bastion while

Mercy heals and amplifies the damage.

28.

"Hidden Character Controls": A handful of characters have their own unique control

options unique only to them.

Mercy is a medic who can see the health of her teammates by default, but you can also

turn on team health for Zayra ["Zar-ya"] and Soldier 76 as well.

You can adjust the aiming sensitivity of Widowmaker's rifle while zoomed in, and you can also toggle

zoom with the right mouse if you playing the game for PC.

Genji and Hanzo can be set to automatically climb walls, and Junkrat's tire ultimate

can be tweaked in the settings menu to automatically climb walls as well.

Lucio ["Loo-see-oh"] has a special setting called "Hold to Crossfade", but it is

a little buggy.

This option is supposed to let you set the default to his healing special move instead

of speed, but sometimes it doesn't work properly.

29.

"How to Clear Out Turrets": If Torbjorn is giving you a hard time, here's a quick

and easy way to clear him out.

Get Lucio to speed up Zarya and watch the mayhem unfold.

As the turrets hit Zarya's shield, her weapon power is significantly boosted.

Many players don't realize this, but Mai's freezing spray is able to stop Torbjorn's

turrets just like they would a regular player.

It doesn't last for very long, so your best bet is to use your wall ability to render

it useless, or else heal in front of the turret to distract it from your teammates.

30.

"Turret Health": A lot of players still have not figured out that Torbjorn's turrets

absorb health packs just like everyone else.

An excellent strategy is to lay down a turret directly on top of a health pack and wait

for an unsuspecting low-health player to come walking in.

They will most likely die right away, but if they do any damage to the turret, then

it will soak up the health pack that they were originally hoping to get.

31.

"Symmetra's Turret Placement": Symmetra is one of the best characters in the game

for setting up sneak attacks.

When you are placing turrets, be sure to put them in the upper corners, away from an enemy's

line of sight.

Ideally, the enemy should always have to fully turn around before they are able to attack

the turret.

A good example of this is placing a turret high above the main entrance in the Temple

of Anubis Map.

Another excellent spot on this map is on a wall with some overgrown bushes.

The enemy will almost always have to do a complete 360 in order to reach these areas.

Sometimes, these extra seconds are enough to snag an extra kill.

32.

"Map Storylines": Believe it or not, every level in the map is supposed to have its own

storyline.

We'll go ahead and sum up each one of them for you.

1.

Dorado: You are either defending or destroying a power plant that was built deep in the heart

of Mexico.

The payload on this map is actually a crucial piece of the project that is necessary to

keep the power going.

There is also a bank area that has been robbed by Junkyard and Roadhog.

If you look on the security monitor, you can see them smiling for the camera.

2.

Route 66: This rundown hideout is home ot the Deadlock Gang, which McCree ["Mick-cree"]

was formally a member of.

The payload in this map is a military device that you the attackers have stolen from a

train.

They must escort it back to the Deadlock base at the end of the map.

3.

Gilbraltar ["Jill-bral-ter"]: As Winston's to-do list on the blackboard reads, the object

of this mission is to move a satellite payload onto a launch platform so that it can launch

into space and signal all Overwatch agents back to action.

4.

Hanamura: This is an assault on the Shimada ["She-mah-dah"] clan's compound, which

Hanzo used to belong to.

If you look closely, you'll see that the B-point is actually a memorial for Genji,

who was thought to be killed, but who was really given a cybernetic body by Mercy.

His sword is proudly on display.

Genji's memorial.

5.

The Temple of Anubis ["Ah-knew-bis"]: This ancient archaeological dig is actually

the entrance to an underground research facility that is working on what's known as Anubis

A.I.

According to Pharah, the Anubis A.I. has the ability to override any operating system in

existence.

One side is trying to stop the research from taking place, and the other is trying to ensure

that it succeeds.

6.

Volskaya Industries: This dormant factory is where Russia has been building gigantic

mech warrior for quite some time.

Now one of the factories has been reactivated and is making mech warriors all by itself.

Your job is to either take the robots out, or make sure that they can continue to replicate

and potentially cause another Omnic ["Om-nick"] Crisis, which basically means robot apocalypse.

7.

Hollywood: On this stage you are escorting a limo with a famous robot filmmaker inside

named Hal-Fred Glitchbot.

Obviously this is a brilliant play on the famous director Alfred Hitchcock.

8.

King's World: In the Overwatch universe, robots are forced to live beneath London in

an underground city called the Underworld.

The payload for this map is an EMP bomb that the attackers are taking to the Underworld

to destroy the robots once and for all.

In essence, you are trying to commit an act of terrorism on an unsuspecting cybernetic

population.

9.

Numbani ["Numb-bah-knee"]: This map takes place at the Numbani Heritage Museum.

The museum is about to unveil an exhibit about a character named Doomfist.

You must escort Doomfist's gauntlet so that it can be put on display.

10.

The final three maps – Ilios ["Eel-los"], Nepal ["Knee-paul"], and Lijiang ["Lee-jeang"]

Tower – all seem to be interconnected somehow, though their stories are not exactly clear.

Players appear to be after a certain type of artifact or technology, though the details

have not been fully revealed yet.

Unfortunately, the most vulnerable among us are our loved ones who have to go to a nursing

home or an extended care facility.

The big corporations who run nursing homes make considerable profit from these nursing

homes.

And they do that frequently by understaffing and underfunding the nursing home so that

the loved ones among us who deserve the most respect and attention often are treated with

abuse and neglect.

Nyx Lip Lingerie | Swatch & Review - Duration: 5:55.

Hey guys! I am back with another video

I kinda took a break right before

Christmas because I stayed with family for

like the whole week of Christmas. And then,

if you can't tell by my voice, I got sick.

My dad gave me a plague or something

while I was there, which was very nice of him.

I'm getting over it now but I'm still

a little congested and my face is not happy that I

have been sick the past week, but I'm here!

Today's video is a swatch and review on the

NYX Lingerie liquid lipsticks, Lip Lingerie...

I'm tired, I'll have the right name for

it in the title and everywhere else.

So yeah, these aren't new... I do believe they

came out sometime in 2016, maybe late

2015, but they are super affordable. I

think they're a really good

liquid lipstick for the price. Um, I do

have a couple of Kat Von D liquid

lipsticks which the formulas are very,

very different that one is a lot more

liquidy and dries down to more of a true matte.

These aren't like that at all, um, but those

are the only kind of liquid lips that I

really have to compare to. I did buy some

new Colourpop ones, but I still need to

kind of test those out more. But these

are more of a moussey consistency, and when

they dry they do drive matte, but it's more

like a velvety matte, if that makes sense.

so I will jump into the swatches and

then come back with a review!

(Music)

So those were the swatches. I only own 4

at the moment, um, just because a lot of

the colors I wouldn't really tend to

wear on a normal basis,

um, like more of the browns. And a lot of

the range does look fairly similar, just

barely lighter or barely darker. So who

knows, in the future I may come out with

a part 2 of this if I buy some more.

The one I tend to wear the most is probably Push Up. It's

the one I'm wearing right now. It's very,

very similar to my natural lip color so

if it does wear off throughout the day,

which it can do, it's not that noticeable. The other

one I tend to wear a lot is Exotic, it's

kind of like a terracotta-y red. I tend to

go for that whenever I don't want a nude

but I don't want to pull out a true red.

Like I said, these are matte liquid

lipsticks, so they do dry down. They're not

completely transfer-proof, like...like

there's a little bit left on my hand but

they're pretty good about not

transferring. They are a little sticky

when they dry, so it maybe won't

transfer onto, like, your hand, but it will

transfer onto things like your coffee cup.

With that said, they do stay for a

pretty long time. I wear them to work all

the time and I still have at least a

good amount left by the time I leave, and

I want a regular full-time job so it's

there like all day. Even though they are

a matte formula, I don't feel like they

dry out my lips as bad

Ch 9 t-test single sample (one-tailed) - Library books age - Duration: 3:28.

For this problem again, begin by writing down what it is that you know - what is given

We know it's a one-tailed test.

Step 1) the null hypothesis is that the books are not older than 20 years (so less than 20 years)

The research hypothesis is: the mean of the books is older than 20 years.

Step 2: find the critical value

one-tailed

So that means > older than 20. So we are looking for the critical value over here

degree of freedom 29.

The critical value is 2.462

Next we locate our critical value - so our t.

Now we can solve for t.

t = 2.53. Which is larger than our critical value.

We can reject the null hypothesis. The average age of the books is

significantly greater than 20 years

Ch 10 t test independent samples - Memory (a) - Duration: 4:38.

For this question, everything is given in the problem.

So we can go right to determining our null hypothesis and our Research Hypothesis, finding

our critical value and solving for t.

The Null Hypothesis is there is no difference between the two groups, the research hypothesis

is that the "smashed into" group would have a significantly higher estimate of speed than

the "hit" group.

So there is a direction given, we expect a significant higher.

That is important for our critical value, because we believe it is going to be in [this]

region.

It is going to be a one-tailed test.

We are expecting it to be higher.

Remember if it was lower, it would be over [here].We stated the H0 and Hr, let's find

the critical value.

Both samples have an n=15.

df=df1-df2=(15-1)+(15-1)=28.

Now we look for the critical value for a one-tailed test, alpha of .01, which is the question

for a) [right here].

Now we can start plugging in, because now we have everything (we need) given, we have

the SS1 and SS2 and df1 and df2.

The pooled variance is 33.

Now we take [this] and plug it up here, and we already now n for both samples > now we

can solve for [this].

Plug in here... 33 over 15 + 33 over 15, and take the square

root of the whole thing = 2.097.

Now we solved for the standard error.

Now we plug this into our t-formula.

Here is our t-formula....now it's just a matter of plugging in again.

Our t is 3.24.

Remember again that [this] is zero, that is why you don't see anything [here], because

that is based on our Null Hypothesis that there is no difference between both population

means.

Our t = 3.24, now we compare it to our critical value (which we didn't get get :) so let's

look at that.

df=28, one-tailed, 2.467.

We only consider the positive, because we expect it to be higher.

Our t of 3.24 is higher (than the 2.467).

Ch 10 t test for Independent Samples Sleep and Performance - Duration: 4:14.

For this question we have two different groups of people

one did get six hours of sleep the other group did not.

There are 14 in each of the group so this is going to be a t-test for independent samples.

Luckily again, the SS is given so we don't have to go quite as far back

I just have to go back to the variance part

so here's the formula that we're going to need for the independent t-test and

remember that for the standard error of the mean we're going to have to take the

pooled variance. Again we work backwards

so first solving for [this] so we can plug this then in [here]

Then when we solved for this we plug this in [here] and you can see that everything

else is given [up here] so it's just literally plugging in.

Let's start here with 932 + 706 (the SS for each)

over df1+df2 (14-1 + 14-1)

that is 63.

Then we can plug that in for these [right here] so we continue solving here so just

remember that now we're talking about n again. So that 63 / 14 + 63 / 14 so

that is 3.

Now we can solve for t. M =72 and 65. So 72-65 [that is this part]

minus zero. Remember [this] is based on the null hypothesis being true - that is always zero.

over 3 = 2.33. Since we went straight for the calculation let's now

do the critical value which you know of course comes first before we actually do

the calculation. Our null hypothesis is: there is no significant

difference between the two sleep conditions. The research hypothesis is

there is a significant difference between the two conditions.

Our critical value, using a two-tailed test as instructed with an alpha=.05

gives us the value of 2.056

That was for df=26 (n-1 + n-1)

So that's 28-2 that's how we got the df=26, that's how we came up

with this critical value. Now again we can see that our 3 is actually

larger than this critical value so we can reject the null hypothesis and

conclude that there is a significant difference between the two sleep conditions.

Let's do r-squared for this one to find out the percentage of variance accounted for

About 17.3% of the variance is accounted for by sleep

Ch 9 t test Single Sample (two-tailed) - Birds - Duration: 6:14.

Begin by writing down what is giving in the problem.

In order to find out (for a) if there is a significant effect, we have to get the t-statistic

For this formula we have everything - we just need to plug it in.

Our t-value is 3.5

When we look at the critical value (from the table. We know we have alpha of .05

df = n-1

Now we look at the table and find our critical value is -+ 2.306

Our t-value is 3.5

So we know that it is located [right here] in the critical region, because its

larger than 2.306. So for a) we can say "We reject the null hypothesis. And we can say that the eye spots have a significant effect on the birds behavior.

Let's go to b) and see how big the effect is, by getting Cohen's D

Estimated Cohen's D

We know that the variance was 36, so the standard deviation is the square root of 36.

So that is a very large effect. The size of the treatment effect 1.17.

We can also get the confidence interval for C)

We have 95%, for an alpha of .05, df =8

Critical value t=2.306

To get the confidence interval

Standard error was 2. We get an interval from 32.39 to 41.61

We can be 95% confidence that the population mean is somewhere between

32.39 to 41.61

For more infomation >> Ch 9 t test Single Sample (two-tailed) - Birds - Duration: 6:14.

-------------------------------------------

Ch 11 t test correlated samples - Before and After Treatment - Duration: 4:33.

For a) we calculate the different scores and the mean difference. So 8-7=1, 9-2=7, and

so on. The sum of the differences (D)=18. We know that the mean is the sum of the difference

of the number of people (n), 18/6=3. For b) we start with the Sum of Squares (SS) formula,

it is the same as it was with our X-values, just now it's all based on the differences. We start

by squaring each difference (just like we did with the x-values before). That is 1,49,4,4,1,2,25.

The sum of D-squared = 84. Now we just plug it in: 84-18(squared) over 6 (n) = 84-54=30

(SS). It is also asking for the sample variance, which is just the SS over n-1, so 30 over

5 = 6. Now it's asking for the estimated standard error: the formula is just the square root

of the variance over n, is the square root over (6/6) = square root of 1 = 1. That was

all for b) For c) we are looking for significance, which

means we are looking for the t. First step) determining our critical value, alpha=.05,

two-tailed [we are looking for these areas], if you look at the table t=+-2.571 (our critical

value t). Now we calculate our t. We figured out everything in b), now it's just plugging in. [This]was 3, remember [this

> red circled] is always 0, because it is based on our null hypothesis 'that there is

no difference' and our standard error of the means was 1. So our t=+3. Clearly this is

larger than our critical value of +2.571, so we can say: We reject the null hypothesis,

there is a significant difference in treatment effect.

For more infomation >> Ch 11 t test correlated samples - Before and After Treatment - Duration: 4:33.

-------------------------------------------

Ch 11 t test correlated samples - Photographs - Duration: 4:39.

We begin again by finding the difference, because we know we have to get the mean difference,

in order to get t, the SS (and everything else). So 7-4=3, 7-6=1, and so on (3+1+3+4+3+3+6+1+3=27

(the sum of D). Our n=9. When we get the Mean Difference, which is the sum of D over n, is 27/9=3. Next

let's get the SS, again write the formula down first. The sum of D-squared minus the

sum of D (in parenthesis) squared over n. Now we have to square [each of those]. 9+1+9+16+9+9+36+1+9=99

(the sum of D-squared). Now we just plug it in: 99-[27(squared)/n] = 18 (SS). Next we

get the variance: 18/(9-1)=2.25. The standard error of the mean is next: Square root of

the variance (2.25) over 9 (n)= Square root (2.25/9)=Square root over .25 = 0.5.

Now we are ready to look for our critical value and calculate our t. We know alpha =.01, two-tailed, df=8, our

critical value for t=+-3.355. Now we calculate our t. That is 3 (again, don't forget the

population mean is zero), over 0.5 (we solved for in the previous step), so we get a t=+6.

Clearly, our t is larger. For that reason, we reject the null hypothesis, and we can

say that that background color does have a significant effect.

-------------------------------------------

Ch 11 t test correlated samples - Swearing - Duration: 5:05.

For the first problem here, we have one set of 10 participants who were

measured under two different conditions.

So this is going to be a t-test for correlated samples. With the information

given we know the null hypothesis says that there is no difference in pain

tolerance between the two conditions and the research hypothesis says, that there is

a difference in pain tolerance between the two conditions.

Next we find the critical value.

It's a two-tailed test with an alpha of .05. The df is 10-1

we have 10 participants, that's 9. Our critical value then is -2.262

and +2.262. Now let's write down the formulas that we are going to need.

This is the formula for the correlated samples> Now we can start with the

calculations; so we can plug it in.

First we look for the differences, and then for the difference squared.

Before that, let me write all the formulas (we need) down.

We look for the differences first: 94 -59=35; 70-61=9, and so on

[My writing again not that nice, it's very hard to write on this :)] But the sum

of D (Difference) is going to be 140

Then we have to square each of these values: so the first one > 35-squared is 1225

The next one is 81, and so on. The sum of D-squared is going to be 3112.

Now you plug those values (the sum of D-square right here) and then the sum of D (144)

And then the sum of D = 140 goes in here, then we square it, n=10

Then you solve for the sum of squares (SS) first, then you can solve

for the variance.

Once you solved for the variance, you can then plug this into this formula for the

standard error. Then you can solve for t.

I am going to do that on the next page now.

So the SS=1152, the variance = SS over n-1 = 128

Now we can solve for the estimated standard error.

That is 3.578. And now we can finally solve for t.

Let's get the mean first, because we didn't do that yet. That is 14.

Now, it's just 14 (remember this again is based on the null hypothesis, so it is zero)

divided by 3.578.

We get a t-value of 3.913. Our critical value that we determined was 2.262 - so

ours is larger so we can reject the null hypothesis. We want to continue with

Cohen's D to see the effect size.

Remember Cohen's D is the mean difference over the standard deviation

That's just 14 / 11.31 > so we got this from here right

Remember that the standard deviation is just the square root of the variance, so

it's the square root of 128

That's how I came up with that. Cohen's D =1.24

So that is a strong effect. We want to do

r-squared also. Remember that is just t-squared over (t-squared +df). That

is going to be 0.636. So it's just our t value of 3.913 squared / 3.913 squared + 9

Our final sentence then is: the pain tolerance of participants when they use swear words were

significantly greater than when they use neutral words

Ch 10 t test indep samples - Which doesn't kill us....(b and c) - Duration: 1:25.

For a) we found out that t was in the critical region. So we reject the null

hypothesis. Now we go to b) to compute Cohen's D to measure the size

of the effect. First let me write down again what we had and what we are going to need

for the formula for Cohen's D. The mean of the first sample is 42, the mean of the second sample

is 48.6. In a) we calculated that the pooled variance is 24. Now we

know the formula for Cohen's d is the mean difference of the two samples

over the square root of the pooled variance. Now we just plug in the numbers

again. We come up with a negative of 1.35, and again the absolute value is what is

important. So that is a large effect.

For c) our sentence would look like this:

The obtained t of -3.929 is in the critical region.

We reject the null hypothesis, there is a significant difference.

t(32) = -3.929

This is how you would see it in a research report.
