Youtube daily report Mar 6 2017

Hello friends, today we learn the technique of

Work crochet curls, i mean

Strips woven in the form of curls

We work, of course, are techniques that

Are working with many types of

It is not necessary to work with a

Certain yarn, can knit with thick or thin strand

I work a slip stitch

I put myself there, and I'm going to work according to

The length I want for this curl

I'm only going to work 30 chains for this show

Of course you can weave many more chains

Or some less

If they want shorter or longer to this curl

I'm going to put into the chain number 4

Coming back from the needle

backward

And work, 2 double crochet in 1 stitch

From here

In each of the base stitch

That we have in the chain

Let's work 3 double crochet in 1 stitch

Always in that same basic stitch

Is where we knit all 3 double crochet in 1 stitch

We should be staying like this

I go to the next stitch at the base

And I repeat 3 double crochet in 1 stitch

So I'll continue until I finish the lap

And we see the effect that is achieved

Coiling like a spring

When I'm knitting the last stitch

There work, 2 dc in 1 stitch

And we closed this spring with 3 chains in the air

1,2 and 3

That we are going to close it in that last stitch

Weaving a slip stitch

We can cut the thread

And we see the effect that is achieved

Curl

We twist it as the job tells us

In this way, towards us

And we achieved that effect of curl

So easy and simple is this technique

And looks very nice,

To apply it in the works

Can be even in scarves,

To have at the end of the scarf, a few curls

Worked in this way

I wove some

Are exactly the same tissues, although the tissue is taking shape

When we give you time to rest the thread

That we all know, materials need

An adaptation time

To take shape

When we let him rest, he shrinks

And we have this way, here we have the difference

This is the way to work curls or crochet

Also, maybe they like to combine them

Give one more turn to the spring

With a thread of another color

So I'm going to show them

In case they want to knit

In the part of below, the end of the spring

We are going to put

With the orange thread

To make the difference

We left it a little too long to sew as usual

And we can work single crochet

Always have to weave on the right side

Because the effect of the curl is going to be that way

We need to knit on the right side

And I'm placing myself in each base stitch

And I work a single crochet

I do not have to increase when I'm combining

The two colors

Only knit single crochet

So they will see how it closes more and more

And you get that nice effect with two tones of thread

The short thread, then sew it and keep it in here

Of course when we are completing the return

In these chains, we repeat the same

We take one of those two strands, and we work single crochet

Finally I position myself there, where I have completely closed the loop

And work a slip stitch, we can cut the thread

And we reshape the curl

Then you have to sew all the threads

But look how nice it is, a combined curl

With two strand colors

Here we have the other

That's what we should stay for, this of course

Was a little bigger

For that little lap we work on single crochet

We are going to sew the thread from down here

I want to show them so that they do not leave that loose

And how we sew it inside the job

We take here where we have the chains

And we are going to be positioning

As follows

In the middle of the chain I place the thread

And I'll keep

I repeat the same thing

In the middle of the other chain and I am saved

When I worked it 3 times

Finally, we placed ourselves in a single crochet thread

We bring, and we can cut neatly flush

We have finished our combined curl

And curl with a single color

I hope you liked it as always, it's a technique more

Which can be applied in many projects

Classical Musicians React: VIXX 'Hyde' vs 'GR8U' - Duration: 17:09.

Umu: VIXX VIXX VIXX VIXX VIXX VIXX VIXX VIXX AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH (I wonder who her bias group is)

Lindsey: Is this your favorite group Umu: Yes this is, this is my favorite group of all time

*Rossini's Semiramide Overture plays*

*New person alert* (Also Leah isn't dead. At least I don't think she is. I'm not in NY so I can't confirm)

Shimon: So, Leah will not be with us (Umm)

Naoki: Hahaha that sounds like she died (OMFG HIS ACCENT I'M NOT CRYING YOU ARE)

Shimon: Hahaha

Naoki: Hi my name is Leah, I play the french horn

Naoki: Oh wait you're still recording haha Umu: Hahaha

Naoki: Hey I'm Naoki, I'm from New Zealand (And I'm falling in love with that accent)

This Shimon obviously

I play the piano and I'm a dual degree with economics

Oh yeah I'm a senior. I keep forgetting that

Naoki: Hey I killed Leah so I could appear on this I really wanted to

I saw him just eating the whole time and I really wanted to eat food so I just ya know

Umu: Can I keep that XD Naoki: Ya know, took her out of the equation

*guttural noise*

Shimon: Go with that Naoki: Yeah

Shimon: Leah is just taking a break, she'll come back eventually it'll be fine Naoki: Eventually

Shimon: Um Naoki: Yo

Shimon: So Naoki is gonna try to fill her spot in

Naoki: Yeah, my name's Leah Shimon: We'll see how that happens

Naoki: Hahaha

Ash: So ya'll probably have watched they're videos On and On and Voodoo Doll Umu: They've watched Vixx

Fiona: Yeah Henry: Oh Voodoo Doll

Henry: Shiiiiiiiiiiit Fiona: Aw yay that was gr8(U)

Henry: That one was freaky as f***

Ash: Yeah ya'll are about to be smacked in the face with another dank concept of Jekyll and Hyde

Henry: Woah that's cool

Kevin: Jekyll is the normal- Yeah and Hyde is the Umu: And Hyde is the crazy one. So you can see them switching between nice and mean, nice and mean

Umu: So go ahead

(Idk what they said)

Naoki: No please go ahead

Fiona: Evil vs. Not Evil

Fiona: 5, 4, 3, 2, Jekyll and Hyde

Lindsey: Ah Naoki: Oh Jarod: Ohh

Henry: This is a kinda creepy group. I dig- Fiona: I like-

Both: WOOOAAAHHH

Fiona: Ooh I'm a fan, this is spoopy, tarantula

Henry: Bruh I'm level 10 spooked

Kevin: Oh I love it when that happens

*makes noises of what happens*

Fiona: They're all cute. Sorry Henry: *Noise* Woah

Kevin: Oh there's always the mysterious lad- Ooh ooh harmonies

Yunyi: Give me those chromatic passing tones man

Fiona: Ooh his voice

Gwen: I'm into the dancing

Peyton: Oh I was not- Oh look at these ladies Jarod: Tight

Naoki: I'm liking the beat

Kevin: Bangs, Ew tarantulas

Gwen: Not into the spiders

Gwen: Into the chords *Hugo spider crawls on gwen*

(Bye Hugo)

Kevin: There's some diminished chords in there

*More noises*

Yunyi: XDXD

Henry: Also I think they're doing the thing of like

As opposed to resolving to minor 1 they have a minor progression that resolves to major 1

Kevin: Aw there it is

Henry: Yeah actually this music is really good

Hugo: Ooh good chords

Kevin: Aw Gwen: Ooh sh*t

Hugo: Yeah

Naoki: Melodies (any BTOB fans) Shimon: I like the chorus

Yunyi: It's just parallel major minor

Kevin: Oh no but there's some special- there's 1 or 2 twists

Hugo: Good synthesizer use like really good synthesizer use

Fiona: Ooh I like this synthy part

Shimon: Ooh I like that Naoki: The dancing (The was he says dancing. Don't judge me I know you're thinking it too)

Shimon: No the sudden like silence Naoki: Ooh yeah

Hugo: I can appreciate a good silence. Sorry Gwen: That girl used to be wearing black

Yunyi: 7 to 1

Kevin: No it's actually parallel minor chords

Kevin: Like a halfstep apart

*Zombie noise*

Fiona: Oohh

Yunyi: That's 7 to 1 though Kevin: Yes

Davis: Oh, Ok

Fiona: Ooh I liked that

Yunyi: Aaww

Naoki: Yeah that was a maggot

Henry: Dramatic

Ooh and that bass

Jarod: Definitely playing the whole 2 sides thing like Jekyll and Hyde you know the light and the dark

Henry: Woooaah ok that's really dope

Peyton: They're just like oh I love you, no I hate you, oh I love you, no I hate you

Davis: Which side's gonna win

Naoki: It's very symbolic

Naoki: English Shimon: For what

Naoki: The contrast between good and the bad, light and dark, Heaven and Hell

Shimon: I see, I see, I see

Henry: OOOHHHHH

Yunyi: Halftime

Always dope

Kevin: Ooh triple it

Triple it rapping is the best rapping, yeah exactly

Gwen: I think that you- Hugo: Dude I wish I could be one tenth as hot as they are f***

Yunyi: Give me that six eight Kevin: Fifth, fifth

Kevin: Aw not fifth Yunyi: Aaww

Davis: Woah what

(Kevin wtf)

Hugo: Oh f*** woah woah woah Gwen: Oh woah hello satan

Hugo: Hello my name is Satan

kevin: see that's major- picardy third!!!

Jarod: What the heck

Hugo: He just gave f*** you eyes

Kevin: Man this song is lightening me up (Kevin is an edgelord confirmed)

Fiona: This like hurts my shoulder blades thinking about it

(Let's talk about Leo for a sec lol)

Gwen: Did she die? Hugo: Oh wait oh there it is

Gwen: Ok Mulan guy really hot (Mulan guy XDXD)

Gwen: He's really hot Hugo: The one with the longest hair he's super hot

Lindsey: Oh that's cool

Naoki: The music does sound pretty tense and gripping (He can read me the nutrition facts off cereal I don't care I'd enjoy it)

Hugo: This is another rave song this is a good rave song Gwen: This is such a rave song

Davis: Yes, woah Lindsey: Woah

Gwen: Woah

Davis: Oh Lindsey: Are they inside of her like are they all a part of her

Hugo: Good chromaticism, really good chromaticism Gwen: Yes yes and a lot of that was to give that creepyness

Hugo: Yeah Gwen So not into the maggots though

Hugo: Yeah ehaghagh Yuck x6 Gwen: Actually I'm more into the maggots than I'm into the spiders

Gwen: I watch a lot of crime shows and sometimes there are lots of maggots on the dead bodies

Hugo: I would like to hurl now thank you

Shimon: It goes back from major and minor. Back and forth

Naoki: Oh good and bad symbolizing Shimon: Symbolizing good and bad

Umu: Okay what did you think of the instrumentation and the beat of the song

Naoki: It was obviously dark

Shimon: Yup

Naoki: Yeah

Shimon: Good alright Umu: WOooaah

Jarod: That was definitely different Peyton: Yeah

Jarod: Instead of liking how bright and flashy this was very much dark and- Peyton: Can't get over that major chord though

Davis: Exactly Lindsey: Can I say something Umu: Yup

Lindsey: That was officially my favorite kpop video of all time because there was a woman in it and she didn't disappear

Davis: Music was really good, yeah Lindsey: I really liked that

Lindsey: Those like couple of times where it kinda switched into like a halftime feel for a very small amount of time like I love when music does that Davis: That's always really cool

Fiona: That was cool

Henry: You know I mean, I'm not sure if that, if it was purposeful for this reason Ash: Yeah

Henry: The reason being that you had moments where it was kinda like happy and hype and then it turned back to sorta minor and being weird and creepy

and then it was kinda like cool and the progressions was all off to major things and then they resolve back to minor things and it was kind of dark and brooding again

Henry: and if that was purposeful to show like, the transformation between the good and the evil I don't know Fiona: Conflict

It was, that was cool

Peyton: I think if you really pay attention to the kind of vibe they're setting up with the music even though it was energetic it's kinda got this like

This creepy tone because some of the chord tones they were using they were going to like chromatic ones like-

kinda like this creepy chromatic thing going on which is what they use in a lot of horror movies and that kinda feeds into the like

We're dark now, no we're light, no we're dark, no we're light

Umu: What I love about this group specifically is that their two main singers the long haired dude who you said was really hot

Then there was another guy, his name is Ken, they're the main vocals of this group

and what's cool is that they went on, not Broadway, but like they did musicals in Korea Hugo: Oh sh*t

and so this was before they did that, but you can hear how their technique and voices change throughout Gwen: Oh absolutely

Gwen: Absolutely Hugo: Oh

Umu: Which is so cool Gwen: That's really cool Hugo: Wait, like pre and post broadway

Gwen: This is pre broadway Umu: This is pre broadway

Gwen: Place your bets will post broadway be worse or better technique. I'm gonna guess

Hugo: Better

Gwen: I'm gonna guess worse

Hugo: Ohohoh we'll see who wins Gwen: I worry that I might get pushed and stuff (You literally pushed Hugo)

Hugo: Especially with this style of music if he learned how to make a lot of sound

*Makes sound*

Hugo: Sorry

Gwen: Also they were really good at straight toning into chords

Gwen: That's something I can't do but like that's really important, especially in this style of music where the chords are very crunchy

Hugo: Crunchyy

Yunyi: 1, flat 3, 2 ,flat 2, 1 Umu: I thought I had this reserved until 8

Kevin: No it's actually oh it- flat 3 Yunyi: Well minor, 3 in minor

yunyi: wait did i accidently- did i mishear the 3 as 1?

yunyi: i did i did!

kevin: flat 3... this is major- yunyi: nonoonono

yunyi: i'm not talking about the chords, i'm talking about scale degrees you fucker!

kevin: oh, it's 5, 7, major 6, minor 6

yunyi: yeah i heard it...i heard the 5 as a 1

kevin: yeahh~

kevin: that's my kind of chord progression <3

Umu: Onto the next one

Lindsey: GR8U

Umu: Yes this one is Jekyll so they went totally opposite of Hyde and went happy

*Model Yunyi appears*

Umu: Ok there we go look at that

Kevin: GR8U?

Gratu

Umu: GR8U Kevin: GR8U (this just looks weird in subs lol)

Kevin: So GR8U is Jekyll

Jarod: Go into the light in 3, 2, 1

Shimon: Oh it's the last video Naoki: Yup, it's probably to show the contrast

Naoki: I wonder if they used the same motifs though

Lindsey: This is what you missed

Lindsey: Oh aw Davis: oh woah woah

Fiona: Aaw

Kevin: Rewind

Naoki: Wow this is, a different saturation Shimon: They look normal

Jarod: Definitely very different

Davis: They're doing it backwards (I was literally so confused when I first watched this video)

Lindsey: Woah

Henry: Woah this is so cool Fiona: Woah

Shimon: So happy

Gwen: Wait is that the guy with the long hair

Kevin: Gosh again (referring to his headphones)

I don't think it's that

Yunyi: is it in the parallel major ? Kevin: Oh wait got it, ooh

Gwen: They are so cute what the hell

Kevin: I think it is

Jarod: The colors almost bring out the white just as much as the white brings out the colors Peyton: Yeah it's like they stole the pigment out of their skin

Kevin: Cuz the other one is F sharp minor

Naoki: They're jumping on a piano Shimon: They're sitting on a piano

umu: -learn the lyrics backwards

Hugo: That's

Hugo: So intense sh*t Gwen: That is so impressive

Lindsey: These guys are awesome

Yunyi: But they're still key related

Lindsey: I'm a big fan

Gwen: So impressive

Kevin: Yes they are

Gwen: That's actually the most impressive thing I've ever heard in my entire life Hugo: Yeah

Fiona: It's so satisfying

Yunyi: I get it, because ok, are you sure that this is in B major Kevin: Yes

Yunyi: So this is- B major is the dominant of F sharp minor right

Kevin: No Yunyi F***

yunyi: wow kevin: C- C#! C# is the dominant!

yunyi: that's right that's right! kevin: you have to start with the dominant yeah it's the other way-

kevin: yeah no yunyi: it's the major subdominant xD

Kevin: I'm so into- I like all this. This is all good

Gwen: This is just so confusingly happy Hugo: I know it's so not the group we just watched

Peyton: Oh wow I wish I could clean my room that fast

Yunyi: I love you too Kevin: Ooh I like the-

Kevin: I'm so fan (Kevin is so cute)

(Yunyi get it together)

Kevin: I mean I might not have the sexual attraction that Yunyi does, but musically Yunyi: No it's just, I jsut, I was swooned

Lindsey: He's wiping away the bad past

Davis: Yeah there you go

Davis: That's what I was thinking I just had to figure out a way to put it into words Lindsey: Cuz it's like the Jekyll and Hyde thing, he's wiping away the bad part

Jarod: Oh it's like they're a magazine

Peyton: Man this is just so friggin' happy

Kevin: Ooh I love that, It's like

Falsetto like oooaahhh

Yunyi: Hahahhaa just

Kevin: Oh no

Hugo: Watching him put the tissue back in the box perfectly

Shimon: I can imagine hearing this at a dollar tree

Naoki: At a dollar tree XD

Gwen: I like them a lot- (Hugo interrupts Gwen pt 2) Hugo: This is a very satisfying video to watch I'm not gonna lie to you

Gwen: I like them- (interrupt pt 3) Hugo: Because it's watching everything get clean and my spirit is fullfilled

Jarod: The hair and the hat game is strong with this one

Fiona: This is so upbeat

(ok what is that sound)

(Ravi looked so good with that hair)

Naoki: You wanna bass- do a dictation of the bass line

Jarod: Fotball

Kevin: Woah

Fiona: I like their harmonies

Kevin: This is going places Ynuyi: It is going places

Naoki: Are they singing higher in this song than the last one

Jarod: Oh

Henry: Oh that was really cool Fiona: Happy

Hugo: Checkers! checkers so much checkers let's go play chess on on their bodies (wait what where did that go)

Umu: XDXD

Naoki: It's like in a higher key which would make it seem happier.

Yunyi: Oh the sky in the bakcground reminds me lowkey of the truman show

Naoki: Oh that's cool. That long sustained notes carry over

Kevin: Oh good one!

Henry: I do have a special place in my heart for stuff that's just like very happy go lucky

Henry: And this is very much that

Jarod: That was cool

Henry: And like it's so cool and it's such a cool simple happy concept

henry: i can see why this is Emma's favorite group

Fiona: Yeah Henry: This is definitely one of my favorites

Henry: I love it Fiona: I liked it. It was really lighthearted

Shimon: That was really really happy

Naoki: Yeah

Shimon: It was in major

Henry: There's a chance I'd listen to this. I'd listen to this and maybe some AKMU

And some Seventeen

Ash: The first video you watched was Hyde and this one is Jekyll. What did you think about this one

Jarod: Complete opposite Peyton: Yeah I mean it was just-

Peyton: Like another side of a coin basically

Jarod: Literally night and day

Umu: Did you guys not catch what they did with the piano

They kept jumping on and off it

Kevin: Oh (wow)

Yunyi: It was an electric keyboard no one cares Kevin: It was an elec- exactly

Yunyi: That's totally a Clavanova dude. Yeah no f***Clavanova's man Kevin: XDXD

Yunyi: I like have too many, too many competition memories of warming up with the headsets in on a Clavinova

Eeeww and the touch, the touch weights are all off mmm

Umu: So you're fine with hem jumping on a Calvinova Yunyi: Yeah you know what they should've burned that one

Umu: Hohoho!!

What did you like about that one other than it being sunny. What made it sunny

Yunyi: ooh eeehhh

Kevin: I wonder- I've always wondered what makes things sound sunny it's not just the chords but I wonder if those instruments or synth pads have like

harmonics that make it sounds sunny you know like the tamper and stuff Umu: Yeah

Kevin: That sound

Yunyi: Ok conveyors of atmosphere I've identified so far melodically at least is like if they wanna go for sad, B in minor, (Sing 6???)

if they wanna go for broody angsty, lots of chromatic passing tones. If they wanna go for pop happy 4ths, 5ths and a lot of (??????)

umu: lots of 7th chords i remember henry saying yunyi: 7th chords....

Kevin: 7th chords are low Yunyi: 7th chords go for everything

Yunyi: But as far as melodic line goes, yeah I tink what makes it really happy is that they just do a lot of vocal riffs involving the 4th going up to ???

kevin: also the 'oooo' is a perfect 5th

Umu: Which did you like better

Kevin: First one. Definitely Hyde Umu: Hyde

Yunyi: Uhhhhhh

Kevin: It's not- It's not by a significant margin it's just like, yeah

Yunyi: I think they're 2 sides of the same coin so I can't pick

Umu: Do you want me to put half for each

Yunyi: The first one matched my aesthetic a little bit more so I think I gotta go for first one

Noaki: I mean I'm generally a fan of dark pieces when I play stuff because i feel like it's easier to convey emotions that way

Umu: Ok so you liked Hyde

Shimon: I feel like the um the happy one it would get old really easily if I listen to it more than 5 times I would probably be just like oh ok

Naoki: I mean it was a good song Shimon: It was it was I'm not crapping on it

Shimon: Like it was great(U)

Shimon: Yeah I like the first one a lot better I think

Umu: Ok

Shimon: Because there was more to it. It was more in depth Naoki: There was more happening in it I think

Shimon: There was more deeper things going on I think

Gwen: Much more into the happy one that the one with the spiders

Hugo: I musically am much more into the one with the spiders and video wise much more into the one that's happy Gwen: Yes that's accurate I was very into the chords and the-

Hugo: Hyde musically was my jam Gwen: Was lit

Gwen: This one musically was like cool. This wasn't called Jekyll this is called GR8U Hugo: Jekyll, it was like it was fine

Hugo: Point being it was very happy and I loved the music video because I just watched them put everything back together and it was great(you) Gwen: Yeah that was nice that was cathartic

Hugo: Yeah exactly. But musically Hyde was dope Gwen: Alright

Lindsey: yeah I don't know Davis: I still think I like the first one

Umu: Ok Lindsey: I like the video of the second one

Lindsey: Actually I liked both of them

Davis: I think I like the first one on both accounts

Lindsey: I don't know which song I liked better. Umu: Want me to put you at half and half

Lindsey: Yeah i was gonna ask if you could do that

Fiona: If I had to listen to one I'd listen to the other one

Ash: They Hyde?

Henry: If I had to listen to one I'd listen to this Fiona: It's (Hyde) a little more angsty there's also a study

Fiona: there's a lot of studies out there but I've listened to too much public radio. There's a study that shows that people tend to like angsty music

because it makes them seem more complex and if it's like super happy then they're like it's not as cool

And I think that's what I'm doing. I like the other one more

(I'M DONE GUYS MY EYES ARE DEAD IT'S ONE AM HOPE YOU ENJOYED)

Promoting Scholarly Works - Duration: 3:14.

Hi there.

I am John Bond from Riverwinds Consulting and this is Publishing Defined.

Today I am going to discuss how a publisher or organization can work with journal article

authors or book authors to help promote their work.

Marketing and promotion have changed just as much as publishing has changed in the digital

era.

Partnering with authors to promote their work is mutually beneficial.

Here are nine steps that publishers can suggest to authors to help increase the visibility

of their work.

First, at the top of the list is social media.

Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Instagram, and other potential channels offer a wide

dissemination route of a newly published journal articles or scholarly works such as monographs.

Suggest multiple postings at different times of the week and use appropriate hashtags to

get noticed.

Encourage quotes from the work, or striking facts and statistics to spark interest and

dialogue.

Second, encourage blogging or guest blogging.

Make sure authors write about their work, even if it is as an invited guest.

Third, if the author is on YouTube, have them add a short video about their work.

Many times, authors are not on YouTube, so as a publisher, you might consider an informative

or promotional videos of a couple minutes that can be linked to the work or sent out

by the authors to their contacts.

All that is required is the author's expertise, enthusiasm, and a smart phone.

Fourth, if the work is a book or monograph, have the author set up an author page at Amazon.

It is quick and easy.

Fifth, publishers many times create press releases for certain content.

Encourage the author to ask their institution to issue a press release as well about their

work as well.

Sixth, have the author alert all their contacts through email about their work encouraging

them interact with or read the material.

Seventh, make sure they mention, if permitted, their work at appropriate conferences or meetings

that they may be presenting at.

Eighth and very important, make sure authors are updating and citing their work at research

sharing sites like Academia.edu, ResearchGate, and the many other.

Make sure all authors have their profiles that are up-to-date at these sites and that

they include their new work.

Include as well their Google Scholar profile and their ORCID ID profile.

Ninth and equally important, ask authors to update their institutional profile and/or

their personal websites, reminding them to always link back to the work.

For all these ideas, ensure a consistent use of keywords that are being used not only with

the work at the publisher's site, but when the author is promoting the work, including

Ants in Our Mind |The Automatic Negative Thoughts - Duration: 2:51.

Hey everyone! Mike Sherbakov here, founder of The Greatness Foundation.

And I am so honored to be partnered with Ftlife and bring you another Mindset Monday.

And today's topic is all about the 'ants in our mind' - automatic negative thoughts.

And whether you realize it or not, you have that, I have them, we all have them.

And this is how it works.

On average, we have anywhere between 60-80,000 thoughts running through our mind a day.

Things that we think about.

And you know what's interesting is 45,000 of them are negative thoughts.

The interesting thing even further now is the majority of those thoughts

are the same ones that we had yesterday.

And this is where it gets fascinating because we know that our thoughts shape our words.

Our word shape our actions. Our actions shape our character. Our character shapes our destiny.

It all begins with your thoughts.

So think about it this way.

If you have negative thoughts in your mind, what does your outcome look like?

What is your life look like?

What is your destiny look like?

This is where we can introduce the concept of mantras.

Mantras directly translated are tools for thought and Sanskrit or tools of the mind.

There are ways by which we can now consciously choose

the thoughts that are going through our mind.

So instead of these negative thoughts that are saying, "I'm not good enough!"

or "I'm not strong enough" or "I'm not capable" or "I'm not enough for..."

You know, in search your own word, a mantra is now a self-affirming thought.

It's an empowering thought.

And what's fascinating is as human beings,

we have the choice in every moment to decide what it is we want to think.

So look at this beautiful ocean behind me.

And this is a beautiful way for us to reset.

Maybe you live by the ocean.

Maybe you live by nature in the mountains or the trees or whatever it is.

You do yoga, you come, and you sit.

And you cleanse and you wash away those ants that don't serve you.

Those automatic negative thoughts are not doing you any favors.

And when they're cleansed, you introduce a new mantra into your life.

Powerful mantras include "I am strong! I am confident! I am enough!"

Notice what happens when the ants go away

and you introduce the empowering thoughts into your life.

Notice how that shapes your character and who you become.

So the practice today is to catch yourself when those ants start crawling through your mind.

Choose the stop there and introduce a powerful mantra into your life.

And notice how everything changes.

So again my name is Mike Sherbakov, founder of The Greatness Foundation.

So grateful and honored to be working with Fitlife on these Mindset Monday videos.

And remember, we're in this together.

YouTube Channel Growth Rate Case Study - 7 Lessons Learned - Duration: 6:03.

Hi this video is a case study of My Youtube Channel Growth Rate and the lessons learned

When first starting out on YouTube your channel growth rate may be very slow.

It's easy to become discouraged when your videos receive little or no views.

In this video I'd like to share with you how my channel growth rate increased in recent

years, the 7 lessons I learned and how you can apply it to the growth of your OWN channel.

Welcome to another video.

My name is Herman Drost from DrostDesigns.com.

If this is your first time here hit the subscribe button.

You'll learn how to grow your YouTube channel fast and generate views and subscribers on

autopilot.

Stay tuned to see a video clip of the first video I uploaded back in 2006...it's embarassing.

When I first started my channel in 2006 I was using this non-hd video camera.

I had just started a marketing tips newsletter for my web design business.

As you can see from the first video that I uploaded to YouTube in 2006 using this non-hd

camera the presentation was little wobbly, the quality was poor, but hey I wasn't aiming

for perfection.

Here's a quick look from my YouTube Channel Growth Statistics from 2007 to 2017 when I'm

shooting this video.

Unfortunately YouTube analytics would only show the statistics from 2007 until 2017

As you from 2007 to 2013 I hardly got any subscribers because I wasn't focused video

marketing and I wasn't uploading many videos.

In January 2013 I purchased a video traffic course called Video Traffic Academy which

is currently unavailable.

After studying the course I started uploading videos every now and then.

So I only got 357 subscribers from April 2013 to April 2014.

Video marketing was still not much of my focus.

It was only after April 2014 that I began uploading videos twice a week.

As a result I received 2620 subscribers in one year.

This could be viewed as a very slow YouTube channel growth rate compared to other channels

which are receiving 1000s of subscribers every month.

The following year I doubled my subscriber rate and got 5591 subscribers.

From April 2016 to Feb 28 2017 I received over 7200 subscribers.

Currently I'm on track to double my subscriber rate from last year.

Here are the 7 lessons I learned about the growth rate of my YouTube channel and how

you can apply them to the growth of your own channel:

1.

Channel growth rate is very slow at the beginning Channel growth is like a seed.

You won't see it's full potential until its reached maturity.

If you nourish it with the right elements it will blossom into something beautiful channel

that you will be proud of.

Therefore don't get discouraged by the lack of views to your videos or the number of subscribers

to your channel.

Instead focus on uploading new videos every week even if you don't feel like it and

believe that your channel will be a success.

Keep in mind that what you do every week matters more than what you do every once in a while.

2.

Channel growth rate increases with upload frequency

The more videos you upload, the more traffic you will receive.

As your channel grows more videos will appear in the suggested, recommended and related

video sections.

3.

Channel growth rate increases as video quality improves

Continually look for ways to improve the quality of your videos.

Here are some suggestions...

Grab the attention of your viewers at the beginning of your video

Make use of cards, end screens and annotations to encourage interactivity

Ask people to subscribe in the video Improve the quality of your thumbnails so

they are easy to view on mobile devices and in the search engine listings

Create video content that your target audience wants to watch

Experiment with creating different types of videos such as how-to, storyline, case studies

Compare making short videos with longer videos to see which one gains the most traction.

4.

Promote your video within the first 48 hours If your video gains a ton of traffic within

the first 48 hours of you uploading it, it will often appear on the first page of Google

or YouTube.

After that your video rankings will dance around a bit before Google decides on a more

stable position.

This often called the Google dance.

5.

Improve view duration One of the main ranking factors of YouTube

is watch time.

For example if the average view duration is 60% then this video will rank higher than

a similar video which has a view duration of only 20%...even if it gets more views.

Therefore look for different ways to improve the retention rate of your videos.

6.

Don't compare your growth with the growth of other channels

Comparing your success with other's success will only kill your inspiration and motivation.

Every channel is completely different.

No one has exactly the same content.

We all have different personalities, equipment, and editing styles.

Most importantly we all have different target audiences.

Trying to be like someone else is a waste of the person you are.

Just give your best and forget the rest because there's always someone else who is doing

better than you.

7.

Know your target audience If you can tap into what your target audience

wants, you'll attract the right traffic.

One way to do this is to type your seed keyword into Google or YouTube and look at the keywords

and keyword phrases that are being suggested.

Create video content based around these suggestions.

Another method is to ask subscribers what kind of content they would like to see you

cover.

Here's a Bonus Tip Don't get affected by negative comments

"You can't change the forces of the wind but you can change the setting of your own

sail."

This means if somebody doesn't like your message, just let them be.

Life isn't about pleasing everybody.

So just be yourself and enjoy your own journey.

Every single thing that has ever happened in your life is preparing you for a moment

that is yet to come.

Let me ask you an important question..

What lesson have you learned that has contributed to the growth of your YouTube channel?

Post your answer in the comments below.

I'd love to read them.

NAME CHANGE - Duration: 0:44.

Yo guys, this is Jay Phobia.

Well, about that...

I have an announcement to make.

Due to some requests by hardstyle listeners and by some big parties in the scene, I am

required to change my artist name.

In the upcoming days and weeks several things will change like my social media and the several

download portals.

I hope this will be as quick as possible so I can get back to the music instead of the

business side, because that's where it's all about.

So say goodbye to Jay Phobia and please welcome...

There's a memory of how we used to be That I can see through the flames

I am hypnotized as I fantasize Forgetting lies and pain

But I can't go back

The ashes call my name

Pouring the fuel, fanning the flames Breaking the habit and melting the chains

Embracing the fear, chasing the fight The glow of the fire will light up the night

The bridges are burning, the heat's on my face

Making the past an unreachable place Pouring the fuel, fanning the flames

I know, this is the point of no return

It's uncontrollable Such a beautiful desire

There's something sinister about the way it hurts

When I watch it burn (Higher and higher)

Because I can't go back

The ashes call my name

Pouring the fuel, fanning the flames Breaking the habit and melting the chains

Embracing the fear, chasing the fight The glow of the fire will light up the night

Ultimate Jump Starter! - No BS Test - Duration: 2:56.

⦁ I was sent this device which claims to be the ultimate portable charger and jump

starter.

We'll see about that claim.

Frickin Jim here and this is a No BS Test of the Halo Bolt Portable Jump Starter.

⦁ So let's look at what this thing claims to offer.

It has two USB ports for charging devices, a jumper cable output for jump-starting vehicles,

an LED floodlight, and it supposedly has a 5 amp hour capacity.

Seems pretty cool, if it works.

⦁ Let's start with charging the device itself.

It does include a charger which plugs into a wall outlet, and it comes with about half

a charge.

I started charging it at 9:18, and it was finally done charging at 12:44.

⦁ Now, to try out the USB charging.

Of course, it works just fine, but it seems really silly to me to have to turn the battery

pack on for it to start charging devices.

I've never seen a charger require that before.

⦁ Next, the flood light.

This is a sad failure.

For the size of this thing, it should be bright enough to use as an emergency room light,

like any decent flashlight these days.

Instead, it's not even as bright as the single LED from my old crappy phone.

What a joke!

⦁ But at least it can jump start vehicles, right?

Well, let's find out.

I hooked it up to one of my bikes with the battery disconnected and then hit the jump

start button.

A green light is supposed to flash for a few seconds while the device initializes, then

it's supposed to turn solid and it should be ready to jump start the vehicle.

⦁ The light never turned solid, and no power was ever supplied to the jumper cables.

Instead, the green light just quit flashing and it turned off after about 15 minutes.

⦁ Maybe it needs to detect a battery before it will allow a jump start, I thought.

So I connected the bike's battery and then tried again.

Same result, the light flashed for a matter of minutes and then it quit altogether.

⦁ Maybe it needs to detect a dying lead acid battery like you'd find in a car that

needs a jump start, I thought.

So I hooked it up to a dying lead acid battery.

Same result again.

This thing does not jump start vehicles.

⦁ Looks like I'll just have a huge USB charger in my garage with no other functions.

But wait, I already have a smaller USB charger with the same rated capacity, and I know this

one really lives up to that rated capacity, and it has been reliable for years, and I

don't have to push a power button to get it to start charging, and it retails for less!

⦁ This thing is garbage.

Avoid at all costs.

Better luck next time, Halo.

⦁ If you have any ideas for other things that I should test, let me know by leaving

a comment.

URSA Mini 4.6 K + ND filter for still camera - Duration: 3:21.

Hello,my name is Omine.

This time URSA Mini 4.6K

I attached Kenko's "PRO 1 Digital" and tried checking the ND filter.

When I use URSA Mini for daytime photography

Basically I used an ND filter.

However,

It is called Fader ND from the manufacturer called Light Craft,

I used a convenient one that can adjust the brightness steplessly.

I am wearing it now when I see the screen,

The color of the image changes though it is convenient.

It is quite hard to adjust this color later

This time,as much as possible to keep price

I can not adjust steplessly at Amazon, but I look for an ND filter, 0:01:04.000,0:01:0 6.580 I arrived at the product of Kenko.

This is an ND filter that reduces the amount of light by 1/16,4 steps,

I bought it cheaply,so I opened it quickly and installed it.

As I thought,Kenko was the only thing I made well and I was worried about it because the frame was rather thin

It is more robust than I thought, and the treatment of the filter surface is also beautiful and inconvenient.

However,it is a cheap model in which coating treatment on the filter surface is omitted

I think that it will be tough if you add dirt.

Let's test it then.

First try installing the filter outside.

From here we will have you look at the state without color grading. 0:02:03.400,0:02:0 8.240 URSA Mini does not have the concept of shutter speed unlike single lens reflex digital camera, 0:02:0 8.520,0:02:12.640 It will be difficult to adjust the light intensity during the day.

So,if you can not adjust this amount of light

It will be a great help because the circumstance that I can not shoot by any means will come out.

This is the state where the filter is removed.

It is very close to iso400,but the aperture is 10.

That's why the depth of field is already too deep, and there is no blurring and it is a boring image.

Put it on a filter

It is possible to make a picture with the aperture being opened considerably and the depth of field is emphasized.

This can not be done easily during the day.

I can do it if it is a picture, but it's really difficult if it's a movie.

Filter for Kenko which is for still camera but can also be used for URSA Mini,

It is highly recommended,so why not try buying it all by myself?

That was what we delivered was omine.

By all means, thank you for registering your channel.

Well then let's meet again next time,Good-bye.

How to get more power out of your Solar Panels on a hot day - Duration: 8:05.

G'day youtube

I'm fine hot day like it is today not a

cloud in the sky its kind of warm

it is 33.5 Celsius

i'm going to show you how you can get

more energy out of mono crystalline and

and also up there is a poly that works

for both hey you get more power and a

hot day

so for my string that's on the shed you get 12

or even less hot day depending on how

hot it is and on a nice cool day it

goes up to that 18 and not so hot day

it's about i got about 14 amps out of it

and on the string about me

the mind getting 6.67 slow what we do we

so what we do

grab the hose

It dosen't what setting you put on

your hose you can even have a sprinkler

system sort of setup on there

and then you just hose it down for a

little bit

just to cool it down

and it gets off all the dust as well so its good

now see it's gone up about an amp now if it was

even hotter you will see more of improvement so

now ill do the other string

now at the moment

the sun is there and the panels are just there

so I don't know if we will see a big improvement on

this one

I should have done this yesterday since it

was really hot yesterday

so this is really good for small systems really

really good because you notice a huge amount

so I'm not really seeing much at the moment

like i said the sun is not over it and if I

try this bit later on mach better

I don't know if you can hear it

but

when I cool it down

I'm not really wasting too much water

because it just picks it up

yay

on its 2:42pm now not a cloud in the

sky the sun is all the way over there at the moment

as you can see i put more power on

so it's brought the voltage down

that's what

the string is on the shed

thats what i'm getting above me

thats how much i'm using

because panels don't like it when they

get too hot they drop power

I mean it's not really extremely hot

but it's 35 degrees celsius

so what you do is get a hose and then you cool them down

now where the sun is

is at the moment we're not going to

get hell of a lot out of these panels

but

these panels up here you definitely will

and I dont think it really matters what

what setting you use on your hose or what not

all you're doing is basically cooling it down with just

putting some water on to cool it down you can use a little misster

so yeah

you don't have to spend a long time on it i

mean you can keep checking on it

and see if you cooled it down enough or not but

as you can see i got an extra 2 amps

that one and I got it

2 or 1

so yer you can specially on a small system like

you need every bit you can get you know i mean

so if you live somewhere where it is hot

and you not getting in that much power and you

definitely need it well just put a hose

up there or make a sprinkler little

system up there and

you know

and I'm not wasting the water

so yer

definitely works the only thing is by me

every now and again

um cooling them down so i can run more appliances

and that

putting more tap water in

and I can't use it straight on my tanks

im going have to put chemical in there but

that sprinkle head

doesn't work anymore and I needed to pop it up just a

little bit more make it more straight

so I used a river pebble

with some silicon

just some thing temporary until I make up something better

there is more content to come so like it or hate it

or subscribe if you have any questions or

comments please leave them down below

catch you on the next one thanks and bye

Crochet curls or woven curlers - Duration: 8:44.

Hello friends, today we learn the technique of

Work crochet curls, i mean

Strips woven in the form of curls

We work, of course, are techniques that

Are working with many types of

It is not necessary to work with a

Certain yarn, can knit with thick or thin strand

I work a slip stitch

I put myself there, and I'm going to work according to

The length I want for this curl

I'm only going to work 30 chains for this show

Of course you can weave many more chains

Or some less

If they want shorter or longer to this curl

I'm going to put into the chain number 4

Coming back from the needle

backward

And work, 2 double crochet in 1 stitch

From here

In each of the base stitch

That we have in the chain

Let's work 3 double crochet in 1 stitch

Always in that same basic stitch

Is where we knit all 3 double crochet in 1 stitch

We should be staying like this

I go to the next stitch at the base

And I repeat 3 double crochet in 1 stitch

So I'll continue until I finish the lap

And we see the effect that is achieved

Coiling like a spring

When I'm knitting the last stitch

There work, 2 dc in 1 stitch

And we closed this spring with 3 chains in the air

1,2 and 3

That we are going to close it in that last stitch

Weaving a slip stitch

We can cut the thread

And we see the effect that is achieved

Curl

We twist it as the job tells us

In this way, towards us

And we achieved that effect of curl

So easy and simple is this technique

And looks very nice,

To apply it in the works

Can be even in scarves,

To have at the end of the scarf, a few curls

Worked in this way

I wove some

Are exactly the same tissues, although the tissue is taking shape

When we give you time to rest the thread

That we all know, materials need

An adaptation time

To take shape

When we let him rest, he shrinks

And we have this way, here we have the difference

This is the way to work curls or crochet

Also, maybe they like to combine them

Give one more turn to the spring

With a thread of another color

So I'm going to show them

In case they want to knit

In the part of below, the end of the spring

We are going to put

With the orange thread

To make the difference

We left it a little too long to sew as usual

And we can work single crochet

Always have to weave on the right side

Because the effect of the curl is going to be that way

We need to knit on the right side

And I'm placing myself in each base stitch

And I work a single crochet

I do not have to increase when I'm combining

The two colors

Only knit single crochet

So they will see how it closes more and more

And you get that nice effect with two tones of thread

The short thread, then sew it and keep it in here

Of course when we are completing the return

In these chains, we repeat the same

We take one of those two strands, and we work single crochet

Finally I position myself there, where I have completely closed the loop

And work a slip stitch, we can cut the thread

And we reshape the curl

Then you have to sew all the threads

But look how nice it is, a combined curl

With two strand colors

Here we have the other

That's what we should stay for, this of course

Was a little bigger

For that little lap we work on single crochet

We are going to sew the thread from down here

I want to show them so that they do not leave that loose

And how we sew it inside the job

We take here where we have the chains

And we are going to be positioning

As follows

In the middle of the chain I place the thread

And I'll keep

I repeat the same thing

In the middle of the other chain and I am saved

When I worked it 3 times

Finally, we placed ourselves in a single crochet thread

We bring, and we can cut neatly flush

We have finished our combined curl

And curl with a single color

I hope you liked it as always, it's a technique more

Which can be applied in many projects

v3.1 changelog:

Nukage Barrels now use the old explosion animation speed when destroyed by another barrel.

This should make levels like Doom II's Map 23 more forgiving.

The [6] key now defaults to the Plasma Rifle, if you have it.

Added Zrrion's modified radsuit sprite.

Hellhounds will now get instagibbed by the Axe, like the zombies.

The Super Shotgun now have a FOV punch and its firing animation tweaked.

The Chaingun had its ammo consumption reduced in both firing modes.

The Lightning Gun had its primary fire damage and range increased and its altfire

no longer causes bleeding.

The Plasma Rifle projectiles had an

increase on their speed and damage and its altfire projectile causes splash damage on impact.

Well. That's it. Keep on watching the map! See you soon!

Unboxing/Review Nestlé Surprise Easter edition - Duration: 8:38.

Hi, guys!

Here is the channel Sat, we are starting our channel =] Bringing to you a very cool stuff!

Tcharam!

Nestle Surprise, Easter egg special edition.

I paid more or less the value of US$ 13,76, it comes an egg, 10 cards and an album.

I bought it at the supermarket.

I'll do the unboxing for you, hope you enjoy the video! ;D

Here's the album, look how beautiful.

Here you glue the cards.

Look, it's kind of sweaty because I left it in the fridge, it was very hot, there's an egg,

and the cards.

A normal egg, there is nothing inside, and here are the cards, 10 in all.

The Nestle Surprise is a chocolate that came about in 1983 (in Brazil and France), I thought it had come up

in the 90's when I was a kid, but no.

It has existed since 1983, which is incredible!

It looks like it had several collections, from what I see here.

It had 14 collections and the last collection was in 2000, apparently.

It does not have the confirmation, but it seems that it was.

I remember I had 2 collections, the first one was the dinosaurs in 1993, I was 4 years old,

so of course it did not last at all. And I also had the one I managed to keep that is

from Nature Shows, this collection was released in 1999.

It's been 18 years since I've had this collection! o_O

Let's make rating of Chocolate Nestlé Surprise Special Edition.

As a designer, I would give 8 points, I'll explain.

The old cards had a sticker, the chocolate was exactly that size,

so you took off the sticker and you still had the card, you had the sticker AND

the card.

So that was pretty cool.

In addition to the features of what is being illustrated, it also had a kind of curiosity,

like the biggest hurricane, or the eruption that killed more people, things like that.

Curiosities, kids enjoy curiosities

And I also had some kind of little game, I do not know when they started implementing this,

if this was implemented in previous collections, but it was cool because

it was kind of a 'Top Trumps' game (england card game), I don't know if you guys know.

You get 3 cards, each one has one power.

That for example that is of trees is of the earth element, there it has value 2,

earth against earth is 2 points, against water 3 points, against air it is stronger, 9 points.

It's almost a Pokemon game.

All that doesn't have in the new collection.

But, guys, I'm extremely critical looking not only as someone who has seen

a previous product but also as a designer.

I was talking with some friends of mine who did design together, and we even

thought that the album could have some kind of interaction with the digital, some QRCode,

or some kind of virtual reality scan, anyway, we casually think a lot of random things

I believe that it don't have the stickers on top of the cards to save money

whether or not the prints today are much more expensive than they used to be.

Everything is being digitized, for better or for worse.

I believe they tried to make it as succinct as possible.

I still think it was a bit expensive, the egg.

Easter egg is expensive, it is an extremely expensive thing (In Brazil at least).

you don't buy the egg for chocolate, you buy for the gift inside, everybody knows that.

that.

HOWEVER!

As a consumer and enthusiast of the '90s, to put it this way.

I'll give 9.5 points.

Just because they came back with this product, not only for the people who

had Nestlé Surprise in the 90's.

But also because they are also providing this for the children, even if the children

don't know the history, I'm sure they will love it.

At least I hope they enjoy it because it's educational, it's fun and it's different,

different from what you see on the market today.

Guys, this was my first video, doing the Nestlé Surprise unboxing,

I hope you liked, if so, to subscribe to the channel! ^^

Thanks for watching!

In these old cards, I couldn't complete the collection T_T It was missing the

19 and 22.

Sad, isn't it?

You have something very old, like 18 years that I have these cards and I couldn't

complete the collection.

But that's okay, I'm still glad I kept them and it's in a good condition, by the way

this cards were a college work.

And it's that thing, it's like Amélie Poulain's box, I don't know if you, guys, watched

the movie "Amélie" or "Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain".

You open that box, you see that old thing you had and wow!

Comes a whole world back...

That's really cool.
