How to make Fermented drink with Elderflowers - Kvass ♡ English subtitles - Duration: 4:45.
Hello! My name is Elena Bazhenova.
I'm glad to welcome you at my kitchen!
I want to cook something tasty and healthy with black elderberry, while it blossoms.
I propose to prepare a traditional Slavic fermented beverage of elderberry flowers - kvass.
For this recipe we need: 5 liters of water,
500g sugar, 10 umbels and 2-3 lemons.
Add sugar in a large pot with water.
Turn on medium heat.
We need to dissolve the sugar in the water.
No need to bring the water to boil.
Turn off the heat after the sugar has dissolved.
Cut away small florets, remove stems.
Then rinse in water to remove insects.
We need to squeeze lemon juice.
Cut lemon into 2 halves.
Squeeze out the juice into a separate bowl.
Add the lemon juice to the cooled water with sugar.
Pour the juice through a sieve to remove the seeds.
Add the lemon slices too.
Slice ??it into quarters.
Put washed elderflower into the pot.
Stir a little.
Cover with a lid.
Infuse at room temperature for 1 day.
One day passed.
The flowers are completely soaked and settled to the bottom.
Kvass will be fermented.
Free space in my pot is not enough.
I have a bucket.
Pour from the pot into the bucket.
Cover with cheesecloth.
Leave in a warm place to ferment for about 5 days.
Stir 1 time per day.
5 days passed.
Visible bubbles from fermentation.
I stirred it every day.
Remove all the flowers and lemons.
It is necessary to drain the kvass.
Kvass fermented 4-5 days. It is necessary to taste it every day.
Strain through a sieve and cheesecloth.
I poured kvass through the cheesecloth 2 times.
It is necessary to taste.
I have never cooked and tasted such a kvass before.
Very strong taste of elderflower.
Vigorous.
There is some bitterness.
I think, in future I should remove the lemon slices from kvass on the second day.
They gave a little bitterness.
It is necessary cool the kvass in the refrigerator.
To do this, I'll pour kvass into a decanter.

Nier: Automata - WHY I LOVE 9S - Duration: 5:17.
Ever since I played Automata and after I've made my opinion about the characters known on social media
I've gotten the same question asked to me several times over...
Why don't you like 2B the most?
Why don't you like the butt robot the most?
Why do you like 9S? He's just a little boy
You should like the butt--
Anyway
If you follow me on any social media, you probably already know how much I adore 9S.
And no, not in a R-rated kind of way
but more of a ''I want to protect this boy and make sure nothing bad ever happens to him''
''ever''
kind of way.
Before starting the game, I felt rather neutral towards both 2B and 9S.
In all honesty, after just seeing the promotional material,
I actually thought that I was going to like 2B more.
But after having spent time together with 9S
and realizing just how sweet and helpful this curious little sidekick was --
I fell in love with his character.
With that being said, as much as I did like him during playthrough A,
I had no idea how much harder I was going to fall in love with his character after having completed the game.
The thing that makes me love 9S as much as I do is very simple:
He's too smart for his own good.
TOO DANG SMART FOR HIS OWN DANG GOOD
His model was designed to have amazing analytical abilities, as well as to just be very curious.
Which is what makes them able to push the limits and find the truth.
They push for an answer instead of just blindly taking orders,
which obviously makes for a very interesting character considering the game's setting.
Another part of his character that I really like
is that intelligence also doesn't come at the cost of his social abilities.
In a lot of cases, intelligent characters are often portrayed as socially inept and awkward.
Which is a really boring archetype that just won't fucking die for some reason.
9S is incredibly socially adept considering that he's an android,
as he shows signs of having the need to interact with other androids only for the social aspects of having a conversation.
On-top of this, he always prioritizes others safety before his own
as shown when he sacrifices himself for the sake of the mission and 2B.
The entirety of his initial character is written to be a likable and helpful sidekick to the main character.
But what makes him the most interesting down the line in my opinion is how human he's written to be.
If you were to put 2B in a box and say:
''Hey! Just complete your mission right here, right here in this box, right here uh-huh''
She would, without questioning it.
But if you were to put 9S in that same situation,
he'd eventually start question what's on the outside of the box.
Even if 2B learned that there was an outside,
she probably wouldn't act on that knowledge if it wasn't part of her mission.
This is what makes 9S a lot more interesting -- to me at least.
Not only because he's able to think outside of the box but that he's also inclined to act on those ideas as well.
Don't get me wrong, it's not that I dislike either 2B or A2
but I can't help but to feel as if they fall flat in comparison to 9S.
Which was probably done on purpose.
Because 9S is far more reactionary and expressive compared to 2B and A2,
his character arch is seen as very intense
and, for lack of a better term, ''edgelord-y''
edgelord-ish?
(general sounds of distress)
I mean, imagine learning that the one thing you've been working for doesn't exist.
The only reason you and your closest friends have been created is to be thrown away
and that your entire life is essentially just part of a ploy.
I'd imagine that'd be kind of upsetting.
The realization coupled with the fact that he's been left to go through it all alone
makes for a very unstable character.
Which is exactly what he becomes.
It's a strange contradiction;
as his position becomes dehumanized with his loss of purpose,
his character grows to be more human as he realizes all of this.
If he hadn't been designed with the intense need and want for a purpose in life,
he wouldn't have reacted in the way that he did.
Looking at the way that he questions A2 about why he longs to feel the touch of humans,
to which A2 replies that it's simply the way that he's been programmed,
shows the difference in the way that A2 and 9S respond to this truth.
A2 is very reasoning about the fact that it's simply part of their programming,
whilst it's something that 9S wants to question.
In a story about struggling to find your purpose,
the one character who grows the most human is the one who loses everything.
This video is something I've been wanting to do for a long time but it's also been difficult for me to make.
As I've said before in the past, I'm not super good at putting my own thoughts into words
but it's something I'm trying to practice.
Even if you agree with me or if you disagree with me,

Ghana Meat Pie Recipe - Duration: 5:15.
Hey guys welcome to my channel!
In this video I will show you how I like to make my Ghana meat pie.
This is one my favorite snacks.
It takes quite some time to make but its absolutely delicious.
Everyone makes their filling differently but I show you how I make mine
I used
Grated carrot
Chopped onions
Garden peas
Corned beef
And to spice it I used
A magi cube
Garlic powder
5 Spice powder
Ground pepper
Nutmeg
and dried basil
Warm the corned beef over a medium fire
Add the onions
Mix the onions with the beef, and wait till the corned beef gets a bit softer and the
Then add the shredded carrots
Then add the dried spices
Mix it all together
And lastly add the peas
And that is it for the filling.
While it is cooling we will move on to the crust
So for the crust you will need
Flour
Butter
Water
Milk
Baking soda
Salt
Baking powder
And nutmeg
Combine the milk with water baking soda and salt (and stir)
Put the flour in a bowl and add the nutmeg
Then add the baking powder
Use a whisk to incorporate the nutmeg and baking powder into the flour
Then add the butter
Mix until you get a texture like this
Then make a whole in the middle and add the liquid.
Don't add it al at once, add it little by little
Kneed it for 2-3 minutes but not too long other wise you'll over activate the gluten
and it will get very chewy and elastic
Roll the dough out, add some flour when needed
I used the pie mold to cut, if don't have one you can use a bowl, or a cup or any round object will do
So this is the thickness were going for.
As you can see its not too thick, but its not too thin either
Put the dough on the (pie) mold
Here I am applying egg white at the edges of the dough, I'm doing that because will
be closing it.
And applying the egg white will help keeping it closed
Then put the filling in the middle of the pie
Close the pie mold and remove the excess dough.
You can save up the excess dough, kneed it together and roll it out to make a new pie
And if you don't have a pie mold, this is how you would do it
Apply the egg white.
Put the stuffing in the middle
Then close it
And press the edges down with a fork
Here the pies are on a lined baking tray, use a fork to make holes in the pie.
This is done so that the steam can escape
Then apply the egg wash, and the egg wash is basically egg yolk and i diluted it
a bit with water.
This will give the meat pie their golden (brown) color
Then bake it in a preheated oven (200C) for about 20 minutes and there you have your meat pie
