Homeless Man Hears Screams Coming From Burning House, Knows He Only Has Seconds To Act
Heroes come in all shapes, sizes, and ages.
Don't look at someone and conclude they aren't brave, for they could prove you wrong.
Some in our society look upon the homeless as a nuisance or bother.
They're stereotyped as being involved in criminal activity or drugs.
Rarely are they thought of with empathy or gratitude, but one homeless man in Las Vegas
will hopefully change the conversation.
Officials in Vegas are hailing 36-year-old Anival Angulo a hero for putting his own life
at risk to save two small children from a burning apartment.
Angulo was walking past the apartment building when he smelled smoke and heard children crying.
A 10-month-old and 3-year-old were trapped inside.
He knew he had to do something before it was too late.
"[I] went to the door and saw the babies, so I jumped the fence, and I pulled on the
screen door, and I wrapped up the babies and pulled them out," Angulo recalled later.
"I knew I had to get them out."
Angulo had to pry open a security door with a deadbolt to get inside, but he didn't
let that stop him!
"The little girl ran to him and wrapped her arms around his waist," police said
in a statement.
"He could see through the smoke the leg of an infant on the floor.
He reached down and pulled the infant out."
The children were taken to a local hospital where they were treated for smoke inhalation.
If it weren't for Angulo, things would have ended on a much more tragic note.
"Without the quick action of Angulo, the children would have probably suffered severe
smoke inhalation with burns," police said.
"His action certainly saved the children's life."
Authorities believe the fire started in the kitchen when the children's grandfather
used the stove.
It quickly spread to the apartment's living room, gutting both rooms.
The grandfather was trapped in the back of the apartment and couldn't get to the children,
whom he was babysitting at the time of the blaze.
Sadly, the family is now without a home and damages are estimated to be around $50,000.
But their kids are safe, and that is what truly matters.
Thank goodness for Angulo and his quick response!
He is too modest to call himself a hero, but we know he truly is!

what's up guys it's Matt from Macro Lean and in this video I'm going to be
doing a food review, a cookie review on these! Kissy's cookies! can you see those?
so good! This one here is a double chocolate chip, this one here is the
chunky chocolate chip and raisin. I found kissy's cookies a few weeks ago online. I
ordered some, they arrived a few days ago and I've been devouring them. And
basically the back story with these are they're run by a girl called Kizzy! She
single-handedly runs the business. She's a vegan and it resonated with me. I went
vegan about six months ago, and I was worried you know about giving up animal
products and meat thinking there wouldn't be much flavo some options should I say.
Maybe the food wouldn't be as tasty but boy was I wrong! And this is
one example of great tasting vegan food. They are more of a treat food obviously, not
really a health food but saying that the macros are not that bad. Each cookie has
around 10 grams of fat around 40 grams of carbs and around 3 to 4 grams of
protein. They taste delicious! They're moist..ohhh cheeky they're not dry at all.
They taste amazing, I've had the chocolate chip one and the other chocy
one. I've got quite a few and they're going to be gone in the next few days
for sure! But I want to give a shout out to Kizzy. I really think you should go
and check the website out. I've got a link in the description box below and
whether you're vegan or not vegan... maybe order a few, maybe try them out.
If you see them in a health shop. They taste delish, they're amazing and there's
no death involved.. YAY!

hello friend and welcome to BitFumes angular 5 tutorials from scratch we will
go in depth of angular and see how we can get started with angular 5 and how
we will create a simple project with angular so for that I have gone to this
angular.io website and let's just get it started and to start we need to
have something which is node.js firstly node.js actually this is not nodejs we
just want the NPM kind of thing because all the packages managed by NPM so you
have to go to nodejs.org and just go to this download tab which is here
and here according to your operating system just grab one of these and
install that so what this will give you this will give you node so if I go and
type node and hit enter you can see it is here and if I say dot exit okay so if
I say node - v you can see the node version is here and obviously npm -v
we will get the NPM version so after installing this this means there's nodejs
you will get all these functionality in your terminal or in your command prompt
but this is not enough because this will just help you to install your angular
project, to install angular project you need angular see our command line
interface just like you have laravel command line interface like artisan so
let's grab this one and paste it here hit enter it will download some lot of
things from NPM which will help us to create too many
and to do magical things so let's just wait for this to complete so now you can
see our angular CLI is here so let's just test this so I will say ng only, and
you can see we are having lots and lots of commands like ng so ng -v does this
work no lets space it yeh you can see and he - we give angular
CLI and angular version node words and and lots of things is here not angular
works on angular CLI version so we have to now create a new project
what new project let's just say ng new angular ok so ng new angular hit enter
and it will now download angular package for us so where is all these things on
my Mac here we have this angular folder we have just downloaded so it's now
downloading and let's just wait for this also
so now you can see our angular project is successfully installed so let's just
CD into the folder so I will say angular hit enter and now but now we have to
start our server so let's say ng server but this is not going to open a new
window in our chrome so if I give a flag of -o or you can
say open also let's just stay with O so ng serve -o hit
enter it will compile everything for angular and then it will open all these
things in chrome so let's just wait for this to start and we will wait here and
yes you can see our new window with a localhost:4200 is now
started and it just loading for some reason and yes congratulation our
angular app is here so in the next episode we will go deep dive into

A new wave of protests against President Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as the Israeli
capital erupted Sunday in parts of the Muslim and Arab world.
Lebanese security forces outside the U.S. embassy in Beirut fired water cannons and
tear gas to beat back Lebanese and Palestinian protesters who hurled stones at the embassy
and burned Trump in effigy along with U.S. and Israeli flags.
In Indonesia, home to the world's largest population of Muslims, thousands of protesters
mounted a demonstration outside the U.S. embassy in the capital, Jakarta.
Other protests occurred in Jordan, Turkey, Pakistan, Malaysia, Egypt and the Palestinian
territories bordering Israel.
Nikki Haley, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, defended the president's decision
in an interview on CNN.
She said Israel already has numerous government agencies in Jerusalem, and asked, "Why shouldn't
we have the embassy there?"
She said Trump "did the will of the American people" by making a decision that previous
U.S. presidents refused to do.
Earlier Sunday, the Arab League called Trump's decision "a dangerous development that places
the United States in a position of bias in favor of the occupation and the violation
of international law and resolutions."
The statement was issued after an emergency meeting of league foreign ministers in Cairo.
It also said that Trump's decision strips the U.S. of its role as a "sponsor and broker"
in the Mideast peace process.
The resolution said Trump's Jerusalem decision "undermines efforts to bring about peace,
deepens tension and will spark anger."

A mass vaccination campaign is getting underway to stop diphtheria from spreading among Rohingya
refugees in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh.
The VOA's Lisa Schlein reports from Geneva.
Diphtheria, a disease that was eliminated from Bangladesh decades ago, is rapidly spreading
among Rohingya refugees in Cox's Bazar.
The World Health Organization reports more than 110 suspected cases, including six deaths,
have been clinically diagnosed.
Health officials warn these cases could be just the tip of the iceberg.
They say the refugees are extremely vulnerable to diseases as they have low vaccination coverage
and are living in congested, unsanitary settlements that are breeding grounds for infectious diseases.
WHO spokeswoman Fadela Chaib says her agency is working with the Bangladesh Ministry of
Health and Family Welfare, the U.N. Children's Fund and partners to contain the spread of
diphtheria, a highly infectious respiratory disease.
She says this is being done through treatment and prevention.

WHO and its partners had earlier provided more than 700,000 people in Cox's Bazar with
oral cholera vaccine to try to protect them from that disease.
Iraq celebrated its victory over the Islamic State with a military parade Sunday in the
capital, a day after the prime minister announced the successful ouster of the jihadist group
from the country.
The parade was not broadcast live and state media were the only ones allowed to attend.
Witnesses say Iraqi army units in the parade marched across the main square in central
Baghdad as helicopters and fighter jets flew overhead.
Thousands of people in Ukraine rallied Sunday in protest of the arrest of opposition leader
Mikheil Saakashvili, calling for his release and the impeachment of President Petro Poroshenko.
Ukrainian officials have accused Saakashvili, whom they arrested Friday, of abetting an
alleged "criminal group" led by former President Viktor Yanukovych.
New evacuations were ordered in Santa Barbara county in southern California Sunday morning
as the largest wildfire currently burning in the state threatened a number of coastal
towns.
Residents of Carpinteria and Montecito were ordered to evacuate early Sunday as the Thomas
Fire spread further toward the city of Santa Barbara, about 160 kilometers west of Los
Angeles.
More than 88,000 people have been evacuated [by] because of the Thomas Fire, which the
state's fire agency said was 15 percent contained by Saturday night.

House Votes Down Trump Impeachment Resolution.
WASHINGTON ? Fifty-eight House Democrats voted to advance the impeachment of President Donald
Trump on Wednesday, in direct defiance of the pleas of House Democratic leaders earlier
in the day.
A vote to table the impeachment resolution was agreed to 368-58, with four Democrats
voting just �present� and 126 other Democrats voting with Republicans to kill the resolution.
It may seem like this was an overwhelming confirmation of Trump ? and it was, in the
sense that no Republican voted to advance impeachment and more than two-thirds of Democrats
joined their GOP colleagues ? but 58 Democratic votes is still a significant statement on
impeachment.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) issued
a joint statement just before the vote urging their Democratic colleagues to reject the
impeachment resolution.
They presented the vote as a distraction from efforts to kill the Republican tax bill, which
is swiftly making its way through Congress, and they cited the special counsel�s investigation
of Trump, as well as inquiries from congressional committees, to plead with Democrats to hold
off.
�Now is not the time,� Pelosi and Hoyer wrote.
But the most progressive wing of the Democratic caucus, bolstered by a large number of Congressional
Black Caucus members ? including the No. 3 Democrat, Assistant Democratic Leader Jim
Clyburn (S.C.) ? ignored Pelosi and Hoyer and voted for impeachment.
The resolution was introduced by CBC member Al Green (D-Texas), who was talked out of
forcing an impeachment vote earlier in the year.
Green, wearing an American flag tie, said his resolution wasn�t about Democrats or
Republicans; it was about democracy, about �the fate of our republic.�

Rather than attacking Trump over issues like Russia, Green�s impeachment resolution hits
Trump for race-baiting, bigotry, anti-Semitism, and a number of Trump�s comments, including
his statements after the protests in Charlottesville, Virginia; comments against the governor of
Puerto Rico; and even Trump�s crusade against NFL protests.
By not bringing Russia into the matter, the resolution may just be a proxy for the general
anger toward Trump in the Democratic base, and Green may have had an easier time arguing
to his colleagues that his resolution should proceed.
Despite Pelosi and Hoyer�s concerns that the impeachment resolution would simply become
a cudgel to divide Democrats, the vote will likely help some Democratic members, particularly
those in far-left districts.
But the vote might not be without consequences.
Unabashed liberal Rep. Jared Polis (D-Colo.) and more moderate Rep. Tim Walz (D-Minn.),
who are both running for governor of their respective states, also voted to advance the
impeachment process.
Still, Green argued that civility from Democrats had prevented them from confronting Trump
for too long.
�In doing this, hatred disguised as acceptable political correctness has festered in our
body politic and polluted our discourse to our detriment.
It divides and damages the social fabric of our country in ways that obstruction of justice
cannot.
It causes unparalleled destruction to our society in the long- and short-term that will
not easily heal,� Green wrote in a letter to his colleagues.

Presenting someone's ideas or works as your own can have some serious consequences
Citing all works you have used as resources for your research is very crucial to avoid plagiarism

such as is it still considered plagiarism if you had no knowledge of previous resources and
Just a more broader question concerning the main difference between copyright law and creative comments because they are both meant to do the same thing
in Module 5 in the topics regarding cyber attacks and online security, I learned how to defend myself from cyber attacks
It's important to keep strong passwords, make sure not to share them with anyone, keep different
Passwords for all sites and keep changing them every so often, so they are not easily guessable
Secondly I learned the importance of digital privacy
Privacy in the digital world has a lot to do with trusting certain websites
What is the most convenient for you and security this has a lot to do with how much you choose to put on the Internet?
Some things I clearly didn't understand after going through this module was about digital privacy

In conclusion although there are wide variety of topics discussed through this course, which I found very interesting and useful
I think it would be a useful resource to know your personal right as a digital user.
