Instagrammable Hidden Resort in La Union! - Duration: 4:22.

Hi Co-travelers! Welcome to the 2nd and last part of my first VLOG.

Now that we're done with Baguio. We're now going to La Union.

If you're planning to visit La Union anytime soon, then definitely this is the right video for you.

I will present to you guys this resort we discovered in La Union.

We'll do the same thing. I will tell you the pros and cons of the place...

then, you will decide if you wanna go there or not.

I don't want to throw shade or whatever. So I'll tell you our experience and you decide for yourself.

Have it your way!

The first good thing about this place is, it's just 1 hour away from Baguio.

So that's that, if you're from Baguio, you're from cold climate.

You'll drive for 1 hour and you're in La Union, you'll be in the beach area.

2nd point, this resort has an infinity pool.

Not only that it looks good on pictures. It is actually perfect for people like me who is not a beach person.

Because they have a pool.

For you to capture better photos in the infinity pool...

you should wait for the sunset.

Because the magic of infinity pool is more magical with the sunset in the background.

Yeah, that's beautiful. That's our photo tip.

It is undiscovered, this place is isolated.

Less people, less photobombers for you!

If you take photos, you'll never worry about photobombers.

If you take a closer look at my clips, it seems like we're the only guest in the resort.

There are no other guest...because it is that undiscovered.

Another awesome thing about this resort...

They provide inflatable unicorn and other floating devices.

It is just there, readily available. Just ask any of the staff and you're good to go.

Speaking of staff, they have the kindest staff!

like, you'll see them in the hallway, they'll greet you good morning or good afternoon.

Or if you asked them to get you towels or extra pillows. They'll give it to you in no time.

Maybe it is because there are no other guest when we're there.

I don't know, I'm shocked at how efficient they are.

Now the room! Let's talk about the room!

The room is very spacious.

It is very big, it's like a big apartment.

Apartment with salas

the restroom is very spacious as well.

So yeah, it's perfect for family.

You're not overcrowded.

The interior of the room, it is very native.

Earth colors.

and it is minimalistic.

It's a perfect setting for photos and also for relaxation.

Now, let's talk about the not so good things about the place.

The first thing we noticed, there are no many choices on their menu.

It is very limited. So don't expect too much variety when you eat there.

Second, since it is a positive thing that the place is isolated and less photobombers,

Apparently, it's a negative point as well. Since it is isolated, it is far from the city proper.

You have to ride your car to go places and get stuff.

3rd, I think this is very important thing to consider if you're going to visit this place.

Apparently, it is very expensive!

For us, it's just us maybe.

the amount of money you spent on the place, for us, it is too much.

why?!

The place is too small.

The resort, that's it!

I think they only have 36 rooms (but it's just 12 rooms).

One pool in the middle then the beach.

That's it, there are no other activities to try.

That's the only thing you can do!

you can just swim or go to the beach and surf.

Because again it is isolated. They are the only resort in the area.

Let's move on to the first card and that is the ice tower

so the ice tower is an epic card and it does cost for elixir now the ice tower is pretty much the

Opposite of the inferno tower so instead of burning the troops and pretty much incinerating them

This is just gonna slow the troops down a lot, so essentially it's like an ice wizard

But in tower form and one thing that makes this tower really really interesting is the fact that it can target two troops at once

No Johan did put a disclaimer out there saying hey, I know this may be controversial, so please don't hate on me

so yeah

If you think the cards overpowered send him hate not me here at the gameplay is you can see the tower?

Targeting a giant and a mega minion at the same time and the truths pretty much go in like slow motion

And that's it so I'll loop the footage a few times just so you can see it now this tower looks pretty big but please

Do keep in mind this is just like a fan-made concept, so obviously if this was in the game

It would probably look a lot better and function a lot better, but as far as the concept goes

I do like the idea of a tower that kind of slows troops down rather than just like boredom to hell and

Moving on to the next card each champion. This is another epic card and as far as the elixir cost goes

This is gonna cost anywhere between three to four elixir

It's kind of undefined at this point as far as the card goes

It looks like a single elite barbarian

But with a purple sword and what makes this card unique is that he'll do two times damage

After killing any card so if the champion kills a skeleton

Essentially he'll be dealing two times damage to any other card or tower

He comes across now this picture is kind of like him in game again

It's very similar to an elite barbarian, but as far as a concept goes

I really dig a troop that does more damage

Over time at the moment the only thing

Similar to this would be like battle Rams or princes because they charge and do more damage

And then you have the inferno dragon that does more damage over time

but we don't really have a card similar to the

Champion at all and it's for that reason right there that I think the champion is an awesome idea

So witching on over to the new arena

This is the error station and I'm gonna be honest there isn't too much to show you guys it looks very similar to the builders

Workshop except. There's a giant blimp now Johan did make one disclaimer

He said he made this thing from scratch, so if you're over there like well Eclipse

He clearly just took this arena erased everything and added a blimp it you're wrong

He made it all from scratch and the final thing we will be talking about today is the brand new game mode tug of war

So essentially in this game mode

there's gonna be two cannon carts one on their side and one on your side and the main goal is to deal damage to the

Enemy cart and the weaker the card gets the closer

It's gonna get pull to the center of the arena

So essentially the main goal is to pull the enemy's canning cart into the middle of the arena

And if the enemy pulls your canna cart to the middle, then Wella yell ooze, so you can see both of the cannons here

They're pretty damn big and there's a big chain connected to them and remember the weaker the cart gets the more

It's actually going to move and right here

We have some gameplay because these cannons aren't just like sitting there doing nothing

They can actually help you defend in counter troops as well and one interesting thing is look how big this

Cannon ball is I don't know. I just I thought that was funny

So hopefully you thought it was interesting as well now guys like I said that was the final concept for today's video

What If A Screenwriter Doesn't Make It By Age 30? by Mark Sanderson - Duration: 8:05.

Film Courage: Mark, advice to people who are caught in two worlds because the reality of

being here [Los Angeles area] is that may be the case for a decade, for some people

maybe even more and at some point they will cross over and they will be hosting their

own parties and for some it may not happen.

Talk about keeping your mind right and keeping your work ethic right.

Mark Sanderson: Well, that's difficult.

It's like training.

I used to run as a runner and that discipline of that constant was really important.

And I would run no matter what, even if I was tired.

It's that same work ethic that you need for writing because I see so many writers

who say "Huh?"

And it's difficult, I understand.

I tell some writers that "Oh, I just did a 10-hour day."

And they are like "10 hours?"

And I go "I have to because I have an assignment and it's due and I have the luxury.

That's my job, thank goodness.

Now when I had a day job only once in my life for 2 years, I worked at a law firm.

I had to come home from a full day of work (I was an assistant) and at 6 o'clock make

dinner and then write until midnight.

And then go to bed, 7 a.m. go to that job.

It was having 2 jobs at once and then on the weekends people would say "Oh, come on…do

this and that."

And I'd say "Well, I have to write."

"Write?

What are you talking about?"

And I'd say "Well…"

And it was terribly exhausting and I can see how it would chip away at you, especially

if you have a family and a lot of different concerns pulling at you.

That's why you have to really close the door and say "This is my time."

And it cannot be interrupted.

It is hard to do but you really have to stay disciplined and also I think you have to have

the fire and burning passion to really want it more than anything else.

Because I never put an expiration date on my dreams.

And I remember people saying…I was at dinner one time and a friend of my brother's said

"Well, what if you don't make it by 30?"

And I was like "30?"

And I said "Well, I don't know.

What's 30?"

And to him he was projecting his fear upon me and I go "This is open ended, you know?"

I'm sorry because it's good and bad because you don't want to fool yourself like you

are saying, where after 10 years and you have nothing.

I mean I think after a certain point if you've really exhausted all of your abilities and

nothing has happened, you might consider something…maybe writing is not for you?

Maybe this pursuit of a career is not for you?

And it's a choice and no one is forcing you to write screenplays.

It's a dream.

It was my dream since I was 11 years old.

So am I going to achieve it?

Am I going to achieve it at a level that I want?

Because when I worked in the restaurant while I was going to film school, I knew people

that were actors who said "Well, it's not worth it for me if I'm not like Brad

Pitt."

And I said "Oh, really?

So you think you're just going to fall into it and be A-list?"

Now most working actors or the co-star character actors work all their lives.

The leading person, the leading man, leading woman have to carry the film and how many…I

mean, I'm sorry you look at it and plus as you get older you look at it differently

and you say "Well, I'm blessed to get up in the morning and do what I love for a

living and get paid for it and see it end up somewhere and people respond to it negatively

or positively."

That's it.

Yes, continue to strive for more and other projects and different things but it's hard

and the important thing too is to have people around you that support your endeavor because

I've lost friendships and relationships with people who said "Well…"

And they drew a line in the sand.

And they said…And I was like that's not a good thing to do and what about the last

X number of years I've been doing this?

You're just going to have me throw that away?

You know, the lack of understanding about how much filmmaking and writing was such a

part of my being almost like that of other creative endeavors like drawing and things

like that.

But this is like who I am and to have someone with you not understand that it's really…and

that's the hardest part that so many elements (just like in making a film), so many elements

have to go together and click.

The same way with forging a career and as you've interviewed many different people,

everybody will tell you a different story about how they "made it."

I was doing a seminar recently and someone asked the question about making it and I said

"Well, I think I don't know if you ever make it?"

I think getting your next job is making it and continuing to stay in the game is making

it.

There's nothing guaranteed.

If you're on a TV show, the show is going to end.

And then you have to get up and we're like gypsies.

Find another job.

I have a movie shooting right now in Los Angeles.

When that ends, I mean luckily I have a few things already going (set up) job wise, you

have to find your next job.

It's just the case.

It's difficult but no one said it was going to be easy.

Film Courage: Before we wrap up on this topic, I just want to ask, going back to that day

that you're working this shift at wherever it was, the top of Mulholland Drive or wherever

it was…

Mark Sanderson: Beverly Hills…

Film Courage: Beverly Hills…okay.

And let's suppose you've broken down the event and you're driving down this mountain

or wherever or maybe not a mountain [in Beverly Hills], what's going through your mind?

Your name is in Variety on this day.

Mark Sanderson: Well, I stopped at the newsstand before the job and picked up a pile of Varieties,

you know because you have to.

And reread it and I wasn't on the cover, the company was on the cover, but I was on

like page 13 with a paragraph on how they discovered me.

It's so nice to be discovered and I'm here pouring coffee for these people.

It was freak…there was a fear that somehow it was a big fraud and it was never going

to happen even though…it was terrible.

It was hard to really lock in and then you get home and it's very depressing.

You're like there's no crowd cheering, there's no one like "Wow!"

But then being pragmatic and saying "Well, I have to pay bills."

And there's no embarrassment about doing a job that you have to do because that job

allowed me to continue to stay in the game.

Now yes, the movie was optioned and as movie options go there's not a lot of money sometimes

and then the movie developed 18 months, it was in development with me.

So you're talking about it was 7 years after I wrote it.

So it took 7 years from when I finished it to when I finally found the company and it

was made.

Not all scripts happen that way.

But I'm talking about a spec and so this is a long process with a lot of fear that

can be involved.

I always look back on these stories but not at that time maybe and say "This will be

a good story for the book someday."

Or to tell someone how these things happen.

There's a reason why I think we go through everything is to learn something.

And if we do, maybe pay it forward and that's kind of my reasoning for the book [A Screenwriter's

Journey to Success: Tips, tricks and tactics to survive as a working screenwriter in Hollywood]

is to try to pay it forward and saying I went through all these crazy knocks and these pitfalls

and you will, too.

Maybe more, maybe less.

But maybe if you zig and zag, it will help you a little easier.

But it's all difficult for all of us because we also have to sit in front of the blank

page.

Frieza vs Dyspo! NEW Hidden SECRET REVEALED!? in the Omni King Tournament of Power - Duration: 10:50.

I noticed something really strange about this one scene in Dragon Ball Super Episode 114.

Let's see if you notice it, too.

At the time, I knew this scene was trying to tell us something.

But I couldn't quite figure out what that something was.

So I just said forget it.

But then, it slapped me in the face one day.

And if you've been keeping up with the spoilers for Dragon Ball Super Episode 122, then you'll

be as blown away by this as I was when I figured it out.

You're probably wondering how that scene was strange at all.

Well, it's because it just felt awkward.

They showed us 2 characters that have nothing to do with each other.

I mean, there's really no reason to show Frieza and Dyspo together.

Unless, of course, they were about to have a fight.

And that's the bigger picture here.

The spoilers for Dragon Ball Super Episode 122 revealed a different fight other than

just Vegeta vs Jiren.

And with that confirmation, I slowly started to realize what the meaning behind that strange

scene was.

What's important to remember from that scene is what Dyspo said.

He was about to get hit by Frieza's ki beams and he instantly gave up.

Dyspo said he couldn't handle Frieza.

If they were already showing you some kind of conflict between these 2 characters a full

8 episodes before they ever even talked to each other, then that can mean only one thing.

They were trying to give something away.

But that's not exactly what I meant earlier by "you'll be blown away by this."

This scene is just part of an even bigger problem.

You see, having one scene is great and all, but it doesn't really prove anything.

You can't really say that they were trying to give something away with a tiny clip.

Because if they really were trying to tell you a secret, then they would've hinted

towards it more than once.

And that's where my mission started.

I wanted to find other moments for the #ANIFAM that gave away the same secret.

What I found for the best anime family on YouTube were 2 other scenes.

And when we break down the meanings behind what was going on during those scenes, then

you'll see the proof that they really were showing you a secret to something big that's

coming soon.

But not only that, by breaking down these scenes, it helped me realize the likely result

of something that will happen in Dragon Ball Super Episode 122, which I'll tell you about

later.

The first scene that I found for the #ANIFAM was definitely hiding the secret super hard.

So what you just saw was the police guy from Universe 3 going after Frieza, who obviously

wasn't very interested in starting a fight with this weakling.

But here's what was important about this fighter when it comes to the upcoming episode.

As I just stated, he called himself some type of policeman.

Basically, he's a protector of the innocent in his Universe.

Well doesn't that sound strangely familiar to another group in the Tournament of Power?

He tells Frieza that he fights in the name of justice.

Wow.

Just like the Pride Troopers.

But it only gets better.

Remember, I said this example had the secret very well-hidden.

The policeman decides to show Frieza his full strength.

He powers up and transforms.

The letter on his chest turns to an S.

And that was actually related to Frieza's next opponent in Dragon Ball Super Episode

122.

The excited man started to move his legs extra fast and explained that the mode his robot

suit was in had increased his speed by 300 times.

That S stands for Speed.

So you're telling me this wasn't just to fill up some time in the episode?

They actually had a reason behind having some random fighter challenge Frieza just to show

absolutely no fighting happen between them at all?

That's exactly what I'm telling you.

They introduced this fighter because he's a man who fights for justice and can increase

his speed to superhuman levels.

An exact copy of how you would describe Dyspo.

This was a clear example of the secret that they were trying to give away.

The second scene that I found for the #ANIFAM was right before this epic scene happened.

The chills that moment gave all of us probably made you forget the creepy moments that lead

up to it.

Before that moment happened, we still didn't know much about Jiren's powers.

He was keeping them hidden by letting his teammates constantly protect him from danger.

And that's exactly what happened when Maji Kayo tried to attack Jiren.

Dyspo had jumped in to take care of this opponent himself.

But he got cocky when he made a hole in Maji Kayo.

And this will be an important detail when we talk about the result of something that

will happen in Dragon Ball Super Episode 122.

Not taking the time to analyze how his opponent's body worked, Dyspo found himself captured.

But here's where things got creepy.

And strangely familiar to our favorite villain.

This scene was so dark.

Especially for Dragon Ball.

But once again, they had a reason for doing this.

And it turned out that reason was to once again give away something about the upcoming

episode.

Who else in the Tournament of Power would've dared to hurt another fighter in a way like

that?

The answer is beyond obvious.

You can say Frost might've fit into that category, but let's get real.

All of you know Frieza is one of the most evil characters Dragon Ball has ever had.

He might even be the worst of the worst.

But the only way the connection between him and Maji Kayo would be made clear is if they

had similar scenes in Dragon Ball Super showing Frieza's true evil nature.

There are two scenes that really bring out these two sick fighter's similarities.

The first was just before the Tournament of Power started.

After Frieza had successfully gotten himself out of the God of Destruction energy, he tricked

Goku into thinking they really were allies, at least for the moment.

The way that he did this was by having a normal conversation with Goku as they tried to figure

out who had sent these fighters to target them.

This made Goku feel like they were on the same page about things.

And this made him let his guard down.

This was exactly the same as how Maji Kayo captured Dyspo.

He had tricked him into thinking he could let his guard down.

He cried out as if he was scared.

But then, his cries turned to a smile as his body repaired itself.

And that's how he trapped Dyspo.

They were showing us the same exact behavior between Frieza and Maji Kayo so that we would

have a clear example of the secret they wanted to give away.

But as I said earlier, one scene showing a similarity isn't enough to actually prove

something.

And that's where Frost comes in to play.

Both Frieza and Frost saw each other as someone to use.

Someone to trick into helping them and then getting rid of them when the time was right.

But the huge difference between these two evil men was their fighting experience.

Frieza had not only reached his golden form.

In his time in the underworld, he had trained his mind to learn how to control the amount

of energy that form wasted.

He had already explained to Goku that this Golden Frieza form no longer took all his

stamina like it had when he first used it against Goku.

And unlike Frieza, Frost hadn't even reached anything like a golden form.

That meant that Frost wanted to use Frieza to learn from.

We saw the difference in their powers for ourselves when Frost easily started to lose

against Vegeta after he had gone after the weakened Master Roshi.

He was lucky and made it out without being eliminated.

But that's when his false ally came into the picture and when the pattern we saw with

Maji Kayo and Dyspo came back.

Frieza made Frost feel comfortable.

He was giving Frost exactly what he wanted.

Knowledge on how to get stronger.

It seemed innocent.

Like a little training lesson as Frieza asked Frost to show him the different forms he had

already achieved.

And then, completely out of nowhere, Frost learned he had been tricked.

And with no way back up, Frost was trapped.

This same pattern of tricking and trapping their opponents made Maji Kayo's character

feel extremely similar to Frieza's dark nature.

It was almost like Dyspo was fighting a Frieza wanna-be.

It was another example of the secret they had been trying to give away.

But do you remember what I said was an important detail linking to the result of something

coming in Dragon Ball Super Episode 122?

It also links to the pattern that Maji Kayo and Frieza share.

It was the moment Dyspo had gotten cocky.

Well this instantly made me think of the very first time we had ever seen Dyspo fight.

And I realized that there was a pattern in each one of Dyspo's battles.

The first time they showed the Pride Troopers actually in action, there was a monster overtaking

a city in Universe 11.

Dyspo was fighting the creature one-on-one, proving the power that his incredible speed

gave to him.

But he got cocky.

And then, he was trapped.

It was the same exact thing that had happened when he tried to take down Maji Kayo in Jiren's

place.

You're probably thinking that easily could've been some kind of coincidence.

At that time in Dragon Ball Super, I might've agreed with you.

But then this happened.

Dyspo decided to fight against Hit.

The master of time.

From what we had seen from Hit up to that point in the series,

It seemed like Hit was going to be the obvious winner.

But this was the episode that Dyspo proved to you that he wasn't just some overconfident

fighter who couldn't think before acting.

He actually did have a very impressive ability.

His speed instantly outsmarted Hit's Time Skip.

That is until

Toppo made the statement that Hit was adapting to Dyspo's speed.

From Dyspo's point of view, it definitely seemed like he had the upper hand.

He had pushed Hit to very edge of the stage.

Who wouldn't feel entitled to brag a little?

But then Toppo's eyes widened as he yelled out.

This was a trap.

And there it was again.

The pattern from both of Dyspo's other fights.

As well as the connection between Frieza and Maji Kayo.

Dyspo is gullible.

He gets cocky, stops thinking, and next thing you know, he's trapped.

And nothing changed here.

Hit had planned on getting pushed to the edge.

So when Dyspo made his final push,

As he fell off the tournament stage, Dyspo learned that Hit was able to use Time Skip

after all.

He had been tricked.

Of course he ended up getting saved by a teammate, but three times was enough to prove that there

really was a pattern.

Just like the 3 scenes that they gave to us, trying to give away a secret about something

coming.

All 3 of the scenes that I showed you somehow all managed to connect Dyspo and Frieza.

They were foreshadowing the second fight that the spoilers for Dragon Ball Super Episode

122 have now confirmed.

Frieza vs Dyspo.

But what about this pattern of tricking and trapping?

How is it important to the end result of the upcoming fight?

Well if Dyspo is gullible and always getting tricked into some terrible trap, and Frieza

is the kind of villain who loves to trick his opponent and then trap them, it's clear

as day that Frieza will certainly find a way to win this fight.

But what about the other Universe 7 team members?

Will they be able to win their fights, too?

In Dragon Ball Super Episode 121, Android 17 was almost kicked.

But then he got a second chance.

Which only made sense considering the amount of power he's gained since the Dragon Ball

Z days.

But just how much longer will he last?

There's something I realized about his character that will give you that answer.

Channel Update #4: The Hiatus is Over!!! - Duration: 2:30.

Hey guys, I'm so sorry for the unexplained hiatus on my channel and today

I'm going explain to you guys why I was gone for so long. In this channel update

we'll go over why I took a break. What series' I will be continuing and what to expect this upcoming year on the channel.

First, let's talk about why I left. I left because high school had started taking time away from YouTube,

I got busy with school and friends, and I wanted to break from the stress of making videos.

I was also trying to make money to afford all my components for my gaming PC.

Luckily I was able to build my PC before the year ended and thanks to some Black Friday deals was able to obtain all my

parts

I spent a week and a half building the PC and getting all the correct programs on the PC so that I could record and edit

properly. If you'd like to know the specs, I'll put them down below in the description of the video.

But anyway, that was why I decided to take a break from YouTube.

Now, let's go over what series' I'm going to put on hold for now.

Sadly, the Cave Story Lets Play series will have to be put on hold. The next episode was going to be uploaded

but after I looked over it I realized that it just didn't seem like the series was going in the direction that I wanted it

to. I know that I've started this serious like twice now, (laughs)

but will bring it back for sure. Either in let's play or review form.

I'm also going to stop uploading Overwatch Play of the Game (POTG) Craziness videos. However, thanks to this new PCs graphics

I will start uploading other types of Overwatch

content, such as me and my friends goofing off and things like that. If people want to bring back play the game craziness though

I'll be glad to.

Now, on to the good stuff

I'm planning for 2018 to be a very productive year.

I have some scripts planned for future videos and a lot of new Let's Plays to be uploaded during the year.

Some examples of the games that I'll be playing are: Cuphead, Overwatch Super Meat Boy, Alan Wake, and plenty more.

I also have some review type videos planned for the future such as Super Mario Galaxy, Cuphead, Super Paper Mario, and many other games.

Along with those reviews, I have some secret projects going on that I'll reveal as the year goes on.

I'm also hoping to start streaming on Twitch during the year, so be looking forward to that.

Burning the Past - Duration: 1:50.

This is an 'old year'...

..this is a little tradition that we have, here in Ecuador.

We call them 'old year' or 'monigotes'.

They represent the year that comes to an end.

We create them in order to burn them at New Year's Eve.

Burning them means that everything is finished...

..we leave behind all that has happened in the past year.

What I am going to burn is irresponsibility, laziness, and letting go of some vices.

Because now we have this huge internet vice.

And we don't see the beauty of this world.

We light them on fire.

And we jump over it three times.

All that is ethically bad...

..when you jump over the monigote, all will be burned.

An entire week of work, just to burn it.

It seems a bit stupid.

But it is about losing yourself in happiness. Jumping, dancing around the fire...

..what ever comes to your mind in that moment of happiness.

LIFE| How Forensic Psychiatry saves lives and money?! - Duration: 5:52.

A lot of innocent citizens were victims of psychiatric patients

who committed abominable violent crimes, for no reason

An inappropriately treated patient, whenever discharged, poses a potential threat to the society

Talking about Ramadan El-Tourbini's case, where cshildren were raped inside train stations

El-Moqawloon El-Arab's bus driver or Bani Mazar's serial killer

do these cases ring any bells?!

We need to identify patients with lower risk potentials

and to differentiate between them and others with higher risk potentials

to assess their competence to be discharged to the community

That is why we invited Prof. Kevin to Egypt

to introduce this ideation to our forensic psychiatric services

by training our team on using his risk assessment tool "HCR-20"

So, I spoke about a contemporary approach to violence risk assessment

and management which has been used now in over 40 countries in the world

And there was a discussion about the extent to which

that could be applicable here in Egypt

It can save lives and money

Introducing such a tool that can assess the true risks

the patient can pose to the society

I can protect the community for truly dangerous patients

That is going to be used for the first time in Egypt

and the first time in The Middle East and The North African region

It is being translated into Arabic

How that benefits the average Egyptian on the street

is the fact that with the more rigorous process to be able

to assess patients in forensic psychiatry settings

The doctors in Egypt will be able to make better

decisions about the health care that has been received

by those patients so that when they go back and

re-integrate into the society, they will be prepared for that

So the collaboration started when Samar ahmed

contacted me and asked about the possibility

of translating the HCR-20 into Arabic

and within her collaboration with Prof. Vollm

from the university of Nottingham in the UK

they thought it would be a good idea if I could train some

of the mental health professionals here in Egypt

to become trainers themselves so that they could then

go on and train more broadly

starting in Egypt but then in other Arabic speaking countries as well

It started a bit out of the blue as we say when Samar

contacted me having the initial idea about a joint project

and I was enthusiastic right away as I like travelling

but also because I thought the project is worthwhile

I am not aware of any other collaborations between

the UK and Egypt in the field of forensic psychiatry

The goals of our project are creating groups

of researches in the field and establishing a unit for forensic psychiatric research

in the faculty of Medicine – Ain Shams University

To put it simply, the field of forensic psychiatry

is the interface between the psychiatry and law

LIFE project is a collaboration with foreign experts

we send them trainees to gain experience

funding short term travel allowing them to benefit

of the knowledge for the sake of the patients

I was one of the practitioners who applied

for a collaborative research within the scope of this project

and the protocol of my joint PhD between Egypt and UK is accepted

it's a joint supervision program by both countries

to do my PhD in the field of forensic psychiatry

Egypt and the UK working together allows us to help

support Egyptian researches in getting better in how

to do the publications, how to make sure that they have

high impact, on the more human side, it connects people

like doctor Samar with her counterparts in the UK

so we were able to come up with new research

they might not have done if they were working solos alone

I think the most important achievement so far from the project seems

to be actually to expand it out of the scope of just

partnership between the UK and Egypt, and that it is

including researches from Canada as well, to implement

a new process; the HCR-20, which is a risk assessment

process for incarcerated patients

The point of excellence in this project is establishing

the first center of forensic psychiatric research in The Middle East

We intend to expand our scientific research

to other new areas like violence against women and children

We yet have a lot of future work to do

Our plan for the coming period is to establish

a specialized degree for the forensic psychiatry in Egypt

so that the health professionals study the forensic psychiatric science in depth

not being just psychiatrists who practice the forensic psychiatry

The more dire the situation I wiped my perspiration

B/c my odds of survival are getting weaker By the minute, he obliged and made the call

I told them all That I could before shots came through the

glass I ducked fearing this would be the last

Of my life, why was I a target The teller asked if I'd been hit

And realized I wasn't telling lies Saying he tries

To stay out of trouble for fear of immigration So while I was waitin

For the police he would have to go How would they even know

- I doubt they'd be concerned But he said he didn't want everything he

worked for and earned Burned

To the ground for someone he never met And so my stage was set

For hide and seek I would peek

Around the shelves and move closer to the back

Ready to attack If necessary.

Instagrammable Hidden Resort in La Union! - Duration: 4:22.

Hi Co-travelers! Welcome to the 2nd and last part of my first VLOG.

Now that we're done with Baguio. We're now going to La Union.

If you're planning to visit La Union anytime soon, then definitely this is the right video for you.

I will present to you guys this resort we discovered in La Union.

We'll do the same thing. I will tell you the pros and cons of the place...

then, you will decide if you wanna go there or not.

I don't want to throw shade or whatever. So I'll tell you our experience and you decide for yourself.

The first good thing about this place is, it's just 1 hour away from Baguio.

So that's that, if you're from Baguio, you're from cold climate.

You'll drive for 1 hour and you're in La Union, you'll be in the beach area.

2nd point, this resort has an infinity pool.

Not only that it looks good on pictures. It is actually perfect for people like me who is not a beach person.

Because they have a pool.

For you to capture better photos in the infinity pool...

you should wait for the sunset.

Because the magic of infinity pool is more magical with the sunset in the background.

Yeah, that's beautiful. That's our photo tip.

It is undiscovered, this place is isolated.

Less people, less photobombers for you!

If you take photos, you'll never worry about photobombers.

If you take a closer look at my clips, it seems like we're the only guest in the resort.

There are no other guest...because it is that undiscovered.

Another awesome thing about this resort...

They provide inflatable unicorn and other floating devices.

It is just there, readily available. Just ask any of the staff and you're good to go.

Speaking of staff, they have the kindest staff!

like, you'll see them in the hallway, they'll greet you good morning or good afternoon.

Or if you asked them to get you towels or extra pillows. They'll give it to you in no time.

Maybe it is because there are no other guest when we're there.

I don't know, I'm shocked at how efficient they are.

Now the room! Let's talk about the room!

The room is very spacious.

It is very big, it's like a big apartment.

Apartment with salas

the restroom is very spacious as well.

So yeah, it's perfect for family.

You're not overcrowded.

The interior of the room, it is very native.

Earth colors.

and it is minimalistic.

It's a perfect setting for photos and also for relaxation.

Now, let's talk about the not so good things about the place.

The first thing we noticed, there are no many choices on their menu.

It is very limited. So don't expect too much variety when you eat there.

Second, since it is a positive thing that the place is isolated and less photobombers,

Apparently, it's a negative point as well. Since it is isolated, it is far from the city proper.

You have to ride your car to go places and get stuff.

3rd, I think this is very important thing to consider if you're going to visit this place.

Apparently, it is very expensive!

For us, it's just us maybe.

the amount of money you spent on the place, for us, it is too much.

why?!

The place is too small.

The resort, that's it!

I think they only have 36 rooms (but it's just 12 rooms).

One pool in the middle then the beach.

That's it, there are no other activities to try.

That's the only thing you can do!

you can just swim or go to the beach and surf.

Because again it is isolated. They are the only resort in the area.
