BOOM! What up CREW? Jurassic World 2 Theories and Easter eggs.
There will be spoilers, let's begin. So, Over in the Jurassic Park Reddit SubReddit.
We have been discussing a lot of theories about Fallen Kingdom.
And after viewing all the Trailers and Behind the scenes.
All of the footage they have been giving us this past week.
There are a lot of things that might connect back to the original trilogy.
I know, we dont like to consider Jurassic Park 3 Part of it.
But, There is one thing that I hope that they bring from that movie and they put it into
this one. And I will let you know what that is in this
review. This Vehicle is the same SUV that was Pushed
over the ledge in the Original Jurassic Park or JP 93.
There was actually a behind the scenes (BTS) photo.
And It has the exact same Number. But as you can see in the roof, there is no
glass window. Which makes me believe that they didn't
want to spend the extra money to flip the vehicle over and crush it.
Because you are never going to see the roof anyways.
But Tom, why are the tires on it? Well it's easier transport a vehicle with
tires. Speaking of the Trex, this is actually REXY!
The original T-REX Machina. You know the one that comes to the rescue
when our lead characters need help. She actually does her Contractually Obligated
Roar. (Jurassic Park T-Rex Dinosaur Roaring).
I borrowed that joke from Grace at Beyond the Trailer.
I did mention in my First Trailer Reaction that I thought Rexy dies in this movie.
And also called the Carnotaurus by the wrong name.
So sorry. But now I am not actually so sure that she
does die. It looks like she actually might be sedated
on the Boat that the "bad guys" have taken off the island.
I know, it sounds like I am talking about Jurassic Park 2 The Lost World.
But I promise I'm not. And don't worry the Trailer didn't show
the entire movie. It only showed half and this has been confirmed
by Colin Trevorrow on his Twitter. He was the writer and Director of Jurassic
World. And now currently one of the writers.
Also, could these be some of the logs from the, ga-ga galmimous scene? Ma-ma-ma-ma maybe.
Back to the second Group. My guess is that they were hired by iNGEN,
or are iNGEN. To go collect the samples "Dinosaurs"
because they wanna use them for something. God I hope it's not a mainland attraction.
There is a reason that they are all back on the island and I think I have a theory that
might solve it. We get a shot of Dr. Ian Malcom. Yeah, Jeff Golblum!!
In a courtroom. The First cameo, and yes.
I think that there is another cameo of an original cast member.
I will talk about that at the end of the video. Anyways the courtroom, which is where I think
they will show the flashback scene. The footage with Baby Blue and Owen.
Fun fact, this is the very first Flashback Scene that's been shown in any Jurassic
Park Movie. The closest we have ever come is that Raptor
Talking Dream Sequence. We all have family members we can't choose.
And no, the beginning of Jurassic Park 1 when the guy gets pulled into the cage.
That's called a prologue. So is in The Lost World, when the girl gets
attacked on the island. When the boat crashes in JP3.
And when both Indominous Rex Hatch out of the egg in Jurassic World.
Also this is the very first Jurassic Park movie to be shot in 2.35.1 aspect ratio.
Jurassic World was actually shot in 2.1. But it looks like Director J A Bayona wants
to squeeze us down some more. It has been said a lot that this movie is
going to focus on the relationship between Owen and Blue.
Which makes me think that since REXY doesn't die on the island.
It might be either her or BLUE that does. They already know we have a strong connection
to Rexy, I mean she has been here for over 25 years.
But also, by building up the relationship of Blue our Feels are automatically connected
to her. So her chances go up as well.
So in the courtroom we hear Malcolm talking about Dinos again.
Here I am, talking about Dinosaurs again. I actually think that he might be on the opposite
side of where Owen is. They might be butting heads this movie.
If you remember he never wanted to go back to the island.
He was kinda forced there. He had this whole GOD complex.
He thinks we should have never had done this. And Clearly Owen has this strong connection
with the animals. He was there since Blue's Birth.
And unlike us he did get to choose his family. I also think that they might be in the same
scene together. Because there was some behind the scenes where
Chris mentions Jeff Goldblum being there. I am not gunna lie, that's pretty awesome.
And usually they don't call actors to the set unless they are going to be in a scene.
Unless he was fanboying and he is like us! So we know that there is some sort of court
hearing happening. Which actually makes me happy.
Because in JP 93 I liked the conversations of whether we could or should.
It would be nice to have more of that. All the other movies just dabbled in it.
It just, you know, it didn't, it didn't have it.
And Claire, who is now leading a dinosaur conservatory group.
Because because she grew feels after the Indominous Rex attack.
She convinces Owen to go to the island because Blue is still alive and present.
But how did she know this? Remember all the animals had tracers or "trackers"
in them. So, she is clearly watching their whereabouts.
They still have the tech to see what is happening on the island.
This is also probably why they separate. Owen goes and looks for Blue.
Hearing that iNGEN, whomever they are in court with, wins.
Claire and her group need to destroy all the data.
Everything that has to do with creating new Dinos.
Before iNGEN gets there and takes it all for themselves, so they can create their "Military
Dinos". I know, I don't want that to happen either,
but it was really, really hammered into our heads in Jurassic World.
Those guys are going to run straight into the enemies teeth and eat them belt buckle
and all. And that is where we see them running from
explosions that they clearly set off. But at the same time iNGEN is trapping Dinos
and putting them on the boat. And here is why the volcano is exploding.
Maybe one of the explosions takes place near a geothermal electricity plant.
Where a hole was drilled into a volcano to gather energy.
Well it becomes unstable and leads to the ultimate eruption of this volcano.
It's a stretch but come on, if this volcano was so unstable and possibly going to explode.
That means that if the Jurassic World 2015 Event didn't happen, it would have about
4 more years of operation. Yes this movie takes place 4 years after the
Isla Nublar event of 2015. And I highly doubt that they would spend 1.2
billion dollars on a park that has a shelf life of only 21 years.
But they do keep going back, thinking they can control the dinosaurs like SOME SORT OF
GOD. I think this might be the case because, although
not canon. Meaning it is apart of the movie universe
timeline. In Jurassic Park THE GAME, there was a scene
where the characters had to restore power in a Plant.
And this spot really, really look like the place where Claire and Justice Smith's character come
face to face with the Baryonyx. BARYONYX!
Which is one of the Dinos that we have been waiting for since the very first movie!!
If you didn't read the books. Bary made his very first appearance in the
Jurassic Park Novel. She was supposed to be the main antagonist
in Jurassic Park 3, but that was handed to a Talking Raptor.
Alan. You know that since this did happen, Alan
Grant being a psychic is confirmed canon. I really hate that movie.
But it did have some good scenes and we might as well talk about that now.
One thing that has been missing from these movies that JP 3 did do good a couple times.
Is the horror factor. Remember how scary that T-Rex Water Part was.
Or running to the generator. Better yet the raptors in the kitchen scene?!
And The Lost world did have some creepy factors but one
In particular that I really wish they didn't skip over so fast was when the Raptors were
in the field. They could have done so, so much more with
that. And what was good in JP3?
There was the scene where they were walking through the old lab.
And the Raptors going after them Pops out from behind the water.
There is just a slow build to it. Also the same thing when they are in the cage.
I just really love that movie, how it expanded on the world of Jurassic Park.
It was really cool to see the cages, the river, everything.
Just the entire land. It just really lacked a good script.
And Dino interaction, something that Jurassic World delivered on.
But I bring all this up because J A Bayona and a lot of other sources have said.
That this movie will focus more on the horror and scary aspects.
That JP 93 was Successful at. I really hope that they give us a new version
of the kitchen scene. Maybe it can happen at what has been called
"Lockwood Manor". This is the place where I think the 2nd half
of the movie takes place. And I also think it is called "WU MANOR".
Yes, that is right! I think that this could actually be Henry
Wu's home. But he's just a scientist, he cannot afford
that Tom. WRONG!
He is actually is the lead scientist that has been brought on by Benjamin Lockwood.
Although he was never mentioned before. He is the ex business partner of John Hammond.
He was supposedly the Science side of the company.
John was the sales and the business. He was the smart scientist.
They obviously had some sort of falling out. John being the overall winner.
Maybe Ben had the mindset that Dr. Malcolm had.
Once he created a "Monster", he wanted them to shut down shop.
The investors heard, they kicked him out. Making Henry the new lead scientist and maybe
giving him a little bit of the company. Kinda a Walter white Gale situation.
See in my opinion it's all about the Quinic Acid Level.
I also do think that the Black Cane falling, which is Lockwood's.
Is maybe a symbolization of him dying. And being black, could be a way to throw us
off to make us think that he's "evil". When really it was Henry the whole time being
evil. All the way back in JP93.
I think that he was one of the ring leaders giving information to the "Outside" company.
And Nedry was just one of the pawns. Henry never had enough ownership that he thought
he deserved. So this is a way so he could get it all for
himself.OR!! Henry and Lockwood were working together.
Henry was Lockwood's Inside man. Lockwood was the Outside company.
And Daniella Pineda's character is Henry's Undercover Military daughter trying to sabotage
Claire's Organization!! But I do think that we might get some action
happening with the confirmed IndoRaptor. Universal took some copyrights out on that
name. Therefore it's probably going to be the
smaller version of the Indominous rex that Hoskins couldn't shut up about.
Fraction of that size, deadly, intelligent. Able to hide from the most advanced military
technology. I really do hope they mix Dilophosaurus DNA
with it. Because that would be like the ultimate Military
Dinosaur Killing Machine. It could sneak up, spit acid in your face.
That thing would be scary as FUN! Maybe this whole thing happens at the mansion.
Could you imagine being stalked by a house full of super raptors.
Lights off lurking through the shadows. Oh and they are in the house because Henry
Wu has his lab in the basement. It's where he create's his monsters.
Oh my god! What if he mixes them with Human DNA and they
sneak up behind and say "BOO". Or "Blue".
But an all out fight with Rexy and Blue vs IndoRaptors and Bary.
Oh, yes please! Now I am going to drop the biggest spoiler
of all. If you don't wanna hear it and wanna be
surprised during the movie. Skip to this time in the video.
Ok, you ready? The second Cameo will be SAM NEILL!!
He was reported to have showed up at set one day.
In a completely blacked out SUV. Production was told to keep it under wraps.
It leaked. I actually think he is going to show up at
the end of the movie. After everything has died down, literally.
Maybe he will show up after Claire walks away from Owen after a conversation.
Give him some advice. "Hey, Don't make the mistake I mad, you
should tell her how you really feel." And then hopefully he has a bigger part in
the Jurassic World 3. I don't know.
This is the first week that they have been releasing a lot of information about the movie.
I am expecting the next trailer to drop at the end of January.
But, let's end this with 5 things that I liked about the trailer, and 5 thinks I didn't
like about the trailer. And go ahead and tell me in the comments what
yours were too. And if you are not subscribed and enjoyed
this video. Please smash that bell and JOIN THE BOOM CREW!!
And Maybe like the video since you went that far.
Alright, 5 things that I liked. I like that this movie is bring a lot of animatronics
back. That is something that the first movie did
a lot of. They mixed CGI with animatronics and it looked
Freaking awesome! Ian Malcolm returning, obviously.
The courtroom scene with more discussion. The darker color palettes.
The blacks the browns, the greens, the oranges. Jurassic World Color Palette was like, super
sterile. And I know he wasn't in this trailer but,
Sam Neill. SAM NEILL!!
My dislikes. The dinosaurs falling off the cliff.
That bummed me out. That was super sad yo.
The Carnosaurus brief appearance. They better give her more then 30 seconds,
like, come on. The Budweiser advertisement.
Jurassic World was heavily filled with advertisements. I hope that this one does it, very, very subtly.
If they have to do it. The CGI Dinos Running.
That was so 2003ish. The last thing that I dislike is that the
movie doesn't come back until next summer. As always, I have been Tom.
Laterz. Bonus Fact guys.
The mosasaurus is confirmed. I think that her cameo is going to be when
she is getting that free buffet off the cliff. (Jeff Goldblum Laughing)
