Youtube daily report w Dec 8 2017

Milan in 90 seconds (or nearly so)

Are you really sure you know Milan?

Do you know that Saint Ambrose did everything he could to avoid becoming bishop of Milan?

Saint Ambrose's escapes

The German Aurelius Ambrosius was not a religious man, but a politician

that came to Milan in order to become governor of Northern Italy.

Milanese people, who really appreciated his rhetorical skills and his political balance,

elected him as bishop by a landslide in 374.

Ambrose, however, didn't want to take that position, too demanding and far from his competencies

and therefore escaped.

During the night he saddled his mule, named Betta, and ran away.

Ambrose went through Porta Romana and ventured into the woods surrounding the city at that time

willing to go towards Pavia, where he hoped to find refuge.

But something didn't go as he hoped and he got lost in the woods.

At sunrise Ambrose realized he was still close to the city: he had run in circles around Milan.

Milanese people found him and brought him back to town.

The place in which the future Saint Ambrose was found, dazed and tired,

sitting thoughtful on a rock next to Betta,

was then named Sant'Ambrogio ad nemu, Saint Ambrose in the woods.

This name was shortly afterwards modified by Milanese into Sant'Ambroeus andemm!

Incitement used by Milanese to encourage him to get back to town.

In that place also a church has been built, and it can still be found there today,

it's called Sant'Ambrogio ad Nemus and it is in via Peschiera, close to the Arco della Pace.

Ambrose did not abandoned himself to his destiny and the following night tried to escape again.

Also this time it all ended badly

and finally on December 7th of that same 374, Ambrose was consecrated bishop of Milan.

See you next time.

【MUKBANG】 [Super High Calories] Huge Steaks With Butter Rice & Miso Soup! 4Kg, 10300kcal [Use CC] - Duration: 4:52.

Hello it's Kinoshita Yuka ( English subtitles by ~Aphexx~)

So today! tadaa I made butter steak over rice to eat today

Butter soy sauce on rice is pretty yummy don't ya think?

So we take that concept, and upgraded with A whole bunch of steak

Alrighty, Let's see how it's made

First we cook our steaks

Look how fatty and yummy it looks I've got one kilogram worth here

listen to it sizzle They look so yummy

Slice up the meat into desired sizes

Then pile it over rice I've got six cups of rice today

There's so much steak that you just can't see the rice anymore

Then add some onion

Now I'll add 150g of butter

Add some fried garlic

Then cover it in steak sauce

A bit of salt and pepper

and now flame grill the butter

The butter is all melted and looks so yummy

I also added a bit of wasabi just because

tadaa the dish is complete

The meat looks so scrumptious I also have 1 kg of miso soup here

itadakimasu The steak is so big

The meat is so yummy

The butter and soy sauce come together To make for an experience where you just can't stop

So very yummy when you eat it with rice It's also very fatty and tasty as well

Butter and rice is the 'bestest'

the ra-yu garlic oil is so yummy as well

The miso soup is so nice The fried garlic is a combination of garlic and ra-yu chili oil

It's awesome on rice

There are some parts without any sauce on it Which also makes for an enjoyable experience

where you get to fully enjoy the flavors of the rice and steak

Let's try this with some wasabi

I love that Wasabi flavor It makes me hungry for more

Being able to eat a mountain of steak at once is so divine

(Your english translator ~Aphexx~ is experimenting with dictation software which may affect the subtitles negatively sorry peeps)

Butter is so yummy It goes so nice with rice and even steak as well

wow... because the meat is so fatty The Wasabi doesn't affect me at all

Greasy foods go so perfectly with wasabi

When you go out for steaks They cost an arm and a leg

It's so nice to be able to eat so much at once When you make it at home

Last bits of meat itadakimasu

All done gochisosamadeshita

The butter and steak over rice was so yummy It was so heavenly to be able to eat a mountain of steak at once

the rice, the butter and that steak sauce ~ which contained a bit of grated daikon ~

And that sauce was perfectly matched to this dish very yummy

I love how you can eat a mountain of steak at home on the cheap

Everyone won't you give this a try as well And as always thank you for watching if there is anything you want

Sprachen einfach und schnell lernen mit diesen 4 simplen Tipps - Duration: 6:11.

4 tips how you can learn languages easier, faster and more efficient. Tips

I work with myself.

My name is Thorsten Wittmann and I welcome you to today's edition of Fascination Freedom today

from a cafe in Paris. Due to the occasion this episode is related to languages because I started to learn

French a few weeks ago and this is my 5th language

apart from German, English, Spanish, Portuguese and now French.

That's why I have gained some experience, also how you can proceed quickly

apart from normal courses, audio book courses etc. So you get a feeling of success.

Thus, today I want to share 4 concrete strategies with you because languages are great.

Firstly, they are a lot of fun, also for cultural exchanges, but they are also a competititve advantage.

It makes you more interesting.

It makes us more valuable also when it comes to earning more money, if you look for an employer

or if you want to grow your business internationally.

English is an important language, but other general important languages

include Spanish and French.

So, let's have a look at today's tips.

First: Read books in the respective language.

Start early with it.

Do it on the side, you can always read a couple of minutes in the evening.

I am currently reading a book in French and I read 5-10 pages every evening

it's "Réfléchissez et devenez riche", so the book of Napoleon Hill "Think and grow rich",

a classic book.

I have read it several times already but for me it is nice because it offers

a lot of information in a compact form because you read a book in different situation differently

every time and you learn new aspects every time and can

simultaneously train languages.

If you work in the health sector for example, you can easily read

health-related books in the respective language in English, Spanish, French or

whatever language you are learning, you train yourself and you have fun and learn

the right vocabulary for your sector and train several things all

at once.

I like training several things at once.

You can take a book, go to a treadmill and do sports and

run there and put the book there and read, meaning

you have your reading, you have your treadmill and simultaneously you learn

a new language.

A very easy opportunity to do several things at the same time.

Then the tip number 2: Watch movies with subtitles and something I like to use

is Netflix because they show movies with subtitles.

You can watch French movies, Spanish or English as most movies are in English anyway

and then you can set the subtitles and read during the movie, this is

very good.

It is also a good excuse that you watch a couple of movies

too much.

Then tip number 3: Talk as much as you can.

And not anywhere, let's say at regulars' tables or if you are on a vacation

in the stores and restaurants, this is obvious, but you should also talk

with yourself and that's where you can combine with tip number 1 and 2, when watching

movies.

I read subtitles, I read more or less with a loud voice.

When I read books I read them to myself and what happens

then?

We spoke the words out loud and they become part of our subconsciousness.

We "save" the language completely different and that way we learn more efficiently when

we are already reading, then you should just read it

out loud.

When I am here in the Parisian Metro, I look at every word, so when I am

in the Metro, I have a look at every word and look them up

because what is written in the metro is something which is used in daily life.

And tip number 4: our doctrines.

Many people avoid speaking with others because of doctrines,

negative doctrines like "I am not good at that language", I don't speak it

perfectly", which is logical as you are learning a new language. That is why it is very important

that you train your doctrines and my tip is to tell yourself

"I speak Spanish with ease."

This is an opportunity and "I learn Spanish easily." Or in English

or French.

Use positive suggestions with languages that you are becoming

better and better.

Look for suitable suggestions for your situation and tell them yourself for the respective

language to make it clear to yourself. Many people think that they are bad at a langauge

but this is not true, it is just a process. It takes time

to learn a language.

But if you use all the different levels, all the different tips I gave you, if you speak, if

you read, if you watch in the language, you learn the information completely different and

more efficiently and you can learn languages more easily. With this method, I learned

Portuguese within 6 weeks, well, that's very close to Spanish and

you learn it quite quickly and thus you learned a new language.

So I wish you a lot of success and as I said, it is not only interesting

for cultural exchanges and vacations but it is also a competitive advantage

and maybe we can apply to it in 5 or 10 years

very well.

So have fun because it is important to have fun while learning languages,

that is why the doctrines are important and that we learn with pleasure

and to look forward to the day we can speak it fluently.

So, this was today's tip and if you liked the video, please give it a like or share it.

Fascination Freedom and if you haven't subscribed, click below

Now we'll have a look at some nice impressions from Paris and I look forward to

seeing you again next week.

I will come up with something great for you again. Yours, Thorsten Wittmann.

The personal support of Mr. Wittmann is extremely good obviously.

I've never experienced something like that.

Natural Cure for Ulcerative Colitis in Ayurveda | Real Testimonial - Duration: 7:41.

Greetings, sir!

Greetings!

I welcome you to Planet Ayurveda centre.

Sir, first of all I would like to know your name.

My name is Pradeep Kumar.

Where have you come from?

Sir, I've come from Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh (U.P.).

Due to what health issues did you contact Dr Vikram Chauhan at Planet Ayurveda?

I'll tell you everything in detail.

My problem began in 2015

I had diarrhea and mucus in my stools but it would subside on taking medicines.

As time passed, I went to the city from my village

and got an ultrasound done which didn't give any clear results but they said I had colitis.

I started my allopathic treatment for a few months but since I didn't much relief then,

I shifted to homeopathic which was not beneficial either.

then i took ayurvedic medicines from Azamgarh, UP which proved useless also.

I went to Banaras after that,

there they told me that I have to get Colonoscopy done which concluded that I had ulcerative colitis.

The doctor there told me you have ulcerative colitis and you have to take medicines throughout your life.

I was stunned.

I went into depression.

One day I was searching on the internet and found about Dr. Vikram Chauhan and came to meet him.

I told him my problem and he prescribed Vatsakadi churna, Kutajghan vati, Kutajparpati vati etc.

I started my treatment on October 21st and I have come here exactly after 1 month today.

I explained everything to Dr. Vikram and he told me that you're absolutely fine

and you don't need any medicines.

I said if you want to you can give me medicines for another month.

He gave me medicines at a reduced dosage for 1 more month

How much relief did you get after taking ayurvedic medicines from Planet Ayurveda?

The amount of relief I've got from these medicines can't be defined in words.

I'm absolutely fine now just like I was before getting affected from this disease.

Please show us your prescription.

Kutajghan vati, Praval panchamrit, Coolstrin B, Cap Arjuna, Kutajparpati vati and Vatsakadi churna.

Ok. It's just been one month.

Yes, it is approximately 1 month now.

Did Dr. Vikram Chauhan make any changes in your diet chart?

Yes, he gave me a diet chart which specifies the dos and don'ts of the diet.

If you can follow it 100% your disorder will be completely cured because it depends on diet.

Ok. We have many viewers who would be watching this video.

What message would you like to give them?

I would just like to say that you'll get a ray of hope after watching this video

and hope itself is like a star which will prove extremely beneficial.

I would suggest you to stay away from allopathic

and start your treatment from Planet Ayurveda and it will give you 200% results.

Thank you so much sir for coming to Planet Ayurveda center

and giving such valuable information to the viewers.

Thank you, sir.

The FBI Director Refusing To Answer Questions About Anti-Trump FBI Agent(VIDEO)!!! - Duration: 5:25.

The FBI Director Refusing To Answer Questions About Anti-Trump FBI Agent

I mean there are all kinds of people on Muller's team who were pro-clinton

there's been all kinds of story of fact reported 96% of the top lawyers

contributions went to Clinton or Obama but Peters struck the guy who ran the

Clinton investigation interviewed Mills Abidine interviewed Secretary Clinton

changed gross negligence and crime to the term extreme carelessness who ran

the Russian investigation who interviewed Mike Flynn gets put on

Muller's team and then he gets kicked off for a text message

that's anti Trump if you kicked everybody off Muller's team who's anti

Trump I don't think there be anybody left so here there's got to be something

more here it can't just be some text messages that show a pro Clinton

anti-trump bias there's got to be something more and I'm trying to figure

out what it is but my hunch is it has something to do with the dossier

director did Peter struck helped produce and present the application to the FISA

Court to secure a warrant to spy on Americans associated with the Trump

campaign congressman I'm not prepared to discuss anything about a FISA process

and this nothing we're not talking about what happened in the court we're talking

about what the FBI took to the court the application did Peter struck was he

involved in taking that to the court I'm not going to discuss in this setting

anything to do with the FISA Court applications well let's let's remember a

couple things director and I know you know this we've we've all been made

aware of this in the last few weeks let's remember a couple things about the

dossier the Democratic National Committee the Clinton campaign which we

now know we're one in the same paid the law firm who paid fusion gps who paid

Christopher steel who then paid Russians to put together a report that we call a

dossier full of all kinds of fake news National Enquirer garbage and it's been

reported that this dossier was all dressed up by the FBI taken to the FISA

Court and prison as a legitimate intelligence document

that it became the basis for granting a warrant to spy on Americans and I'm

wondering you know I'm wonder if that actually took place it sure looks like

it did and the easiest way to clear it up

is for you guys to tell us what was in that application and who took it there

congressman our staffs have been having extensive interaction with both

intelligence committees on our interaction with the FISA Court and I

think that's the appropriate setting for those questions here's what I think

director ray I think Peter struck head of counterintelligence at the FBI Peter

struck the guy who ran the Clinton investigation did all the interviews

Peter struck the guy who was running the Russian investigation at the FBI Peter

struck mr. super agent at the FBI I think he's the guy who took the

application to the FISA Court and if that happened I mean think if this

happened if you have the FBI working with a campaign the Democrats campaign

take an opposition research dressing it all up and turn it into an intelligence

document and taken it to the FISA Court so they can spy on the other campaign if

that happened that is as wrong as it gets and you know what maybe I'm wrong

you can clear it all up you can clear it all up for all of us here all the

Congress who wants to know and frankly all of America wants to know you could

clear it all up by release we sent you a letter two days ago just release the

application tell us what was in it tell us if I'm wrong but I don't think I am I

think that's exactly what happened and if it did it is as wrong as it can be

and people who did that need to be held accountable congressman we will not

hesitate to hold people accountable after there has been an appropriate

investigation independent and objective by the inspector general into the

handling of the prior matter and based on that I will look at all available

remedies depending on what the facts are when they are found as to the access to

the dossier that's something that is a subject of ongoing discussion between my

staff and the various intelligence committees there's nothing prohibiting

you director is there anything prohibiting you from showing this

committee the what was presented to the FISA Court

the the application you all put together at the FBI that was presented in the

FISA Court is there anything preventing you from showing us that the time the

gentleman has expired the directory can respond I do not believe that I can

legally inappropriately share a FISA Court submission with this committee I'm

talking about what the FBI put together not what the court had what you took

there what was the Apple the process put together what you presented what you

took to the court when I signed FISA applications which I have to do almost

every day of the week they are all covered with a classified information

cover so that's part of why is it likely that senior shark is it likely that

Peters family played a part in the application presented to the FISA Court

the gentleman's time has expired

The Crown Season 2 Review: A Stately Soap Opera We Just Can't Resist - Duration: 8:47.

The Crown Season 2 Review: A Stately Soap Opera We Just Can't Resist

There's a part of me that wants to dislike The Crown, this slavish devotional to an outmoded institution increasingly unpopular in its own country, if still an object of some fascination in ours.

Why should we be venerating these leeches and layabouts, this vestigial symbol of arrogant empire? There's something annoying about the show, its almost meta obliviousness. It's quite like Queen Elizabeth II herself: imperiously, ruthlessly dedicated to the preservation of the old ways.

Yet despite all that, I find the show pretty bloody compelling. I'm not rooting for Elizabeth (Claire Foy), exactly. And I certainly don't care for her husband, Prince Philip (Matt Smith).

I'm intrigued by Princess Margaret (Vanessa Kirby), but mostly because I've heard that she was a sort of glorious mess in real life, and some men of my, ahem, persuasion are just drawn to that sort of thing.

I wouldn't call the finely drawn characters on The Crown heroes, but they're not antiheroes either. They're just wealthy house cats, batting around expensive balls, bumping up against the roiling mid-century before drowsily retiring to the palace.

It sounds dull, maybe, but it isn't. It's often fascinating, watching how creator and royals obsessive Peter Morgan reconciles the facts of the real world with his fantasy.

The first season had the benefit of a cracking good arc, with Elizabeth's father dying years before the family assumed he would, leaving Elizabeth entirely unprepared to be monarch.

Winston Churchill was involved; there was a grand coronation, and even a tense little bit of action with an elephant in Africa. It all made linear sense, lavishly wrought and keenly acted, especially by Foy and Kirby.

But the second season—which will be most of the cast's last, as the roles are being aged up—has far less form to follow, as the queen drifts into her middle thirties and Britons turn away from Buckingham Palace and toward the wave of social change and upheaval the 1960s would bring.

So instead of following a single arc, The Crown kind of just wanders, peering in on Elizabeth and Philip's marriage in the first couple episodes, then spending some time with Margaret and her new beau, a dashing bisexual photographer played by Matthew Goode.

(Christmas came early, kids.) The Kennedys even pop over for a visit in one cheesy but wholly satisfying episode.

It's fun, how the show bops around, offering a surveying look at the royals as they were in the years after one global sea change and just before another one.

To its credit, this season does spend some time actually reckoning with the imperfections of the family. For one, they bring up the whole Edward VIII-Nazi connection, which had to be addressed at some point.

We see Elizabeth, once again played in sharply observed clucks and pursings of lip by Foy, become ever more hardened by her title, willfully ossifying herself into a personality-less extension of the crown, at the expense of pretty much everyone around her.

She's totemic, monomaniacal—in a stiff, measured way. It's why the Jackie Kennedy episode is such a kick, watching Lilibet squirm in the face of this glamorous, new-era New Worlder.

(Of course, in The Crown's perverse and primly sociopathic logic, Elizabeth wins in the end when Jackie's husband has his head blown off.). The first few episodes spend a bit too much time focusing on Philip, who's not very pleasant company.

The show has yet to get into Philip's, uh, let's say colorful use of language when it comes to races different from his own, but this season it does at least investigate his toxic arrogance, and his potentially wandering eye.

(The show remains polite about what, or who, he may actually have done.) If the stuff dealing with Philip alone isn't the most interesting, an argument between him and Elizabeth is, where we see more of her maddeningly opaque resolve stonewalling him into submission.

It's a chilling, and credible, imagining of their interior relationship. Still, this show really should belong to Margaret.

Brought to sad, sloshed life by Kirby, you kind of pity this lovelorn hothouse flower—until you realize that most of her problems could maybe be fixed if she'd just give up this royals nonsense.

She's too invested, too enamored of and reliant on the whole rotten enterprise.

(This is pointed out to her, rather bluntly, by her sister in one of their many bruising, terrific scenes together.) So Margaret stumbles around in a fog of smoke and self-pity.

Meeting Antony Armstrong-Jones, Goode's satyr of a suitor, provides some happiness, but it's all drenched in unease. Nothing's ever going to be great for Margaret, and the series doesn't shy away from showing us that.

Spending so much time with pinched Elizabeth, it's refreshing to change gears and get loose with Margaret, so angry and hurt, oozing humanity.

Sure, Margaret was perhaps a less sympathetic figure in real life; it's been said she could be a bit of a monster. But I still quite like the way she's characterized here.

It gives the series some actual heat, though it turns out that there is a limit to how much heat should be applied to this show.

Last year, I complained about the lack of sex on The Crown; as ever, be careful what you wish for.

In this darker, edgier season, there is, well, a kind of a sex scene involving Goode, and it is thoroughly jarring. Perhaps The Crown is not a sexy show because it is not good at doing sex.

This awkward sequence would seem to heavily suggest that, anyway. Everyone put your clothes back on, and don't worry about it. I'll get my vicarious royals sex elsewhere, thank you. (I beg you all to read my Prince Harry slashfic.).

All this mellow palace intrigue once again looks rather splendid. The Crown is a grand production, elegant and ornate but stopping just shy of gaudy.

Sometimes when Lorne Balfe's score is really going for it, playing at full blare over scenes of some mundane plot development, all that opulence can seem a little silly.

But, a bit like the monarchy itself, something about the show's sheer belief in its grandeur—in the righteousness and necessity of it all—sells me on the enterprise.

The Crown is a royalist soap opera that may be kind of irresponsible, here in fraught, fractious late 2017.

But as a new real-world royalist soap opera kicks into high gear, what further harm could a lowly Netflix show really do? Long live The Crown, I guess.

Quickly Select Code in Android Studio with Extend/Shrink Shortcuts - Duration: 1:30.

Hey, what is up everyone.

Norman from futurestud.io University here.

Welcome to another video in our Android Studio Note series.

In just a few minutes you'll learn a little trick to increase your productivity every

single day.

Today, we've the extend or shrink selection shortcut.

For Mac users, this shortcut is option+↑ and option+↓.

For windows users it's Ctrl+W or Ctrl+Shift+W. What this does is: I've my cursor right here.

When I click the shortcut extend it will automatically increase the scope of your selection.

So you'll see how it automatically changes a small selection and you can go pretty far.

Eventually, it'll have the entire file.

But you can also go back.

When I click option+↓ [or Ctrl+Shift+W] it'll decrease the scope until the beginning,

where I didn't select anything.

This is extremely helpful if you want to extract a little piece of code. This is much easier

than trying to do this with the mouse.

If you want, you can start with the mouse and then fix it with the extend or shrink

selection shortcut.

That's it.

If you've learned something, give this video a thumbs up and subscribe for more videos.

Make it rock!
