TRUMP PREPARES EXECUTIVE ORDERS TO BEGIN OBAMACARE REPEAL ON "DAY ONE"

With the Senate already having launched the process of repealing Obamacare when, as reported
yesterday, Senate Budget Committee Chairman Mike Enzi released a 2017 budget resolution
setting up the process to partially repeal Obamacare early in Donald Trump�s administration,
on Wednesday vice president-elect Mike Pence met with Republican congressional leaders
to plot the strategy of how to repeal Obama's signature healthcare law.
Speaking to House republicans, Pence said Trump plans to take executive actions to start
unwinding ObamaCare on day one: "Our first order of business will be to repeal and replace
ObamaCare," Pence told reporters, adding the process would begin "day one."
"The speaker of the house used the word �stable,� and we will do that," Pence said at a news
conference after a private meeting Wednesday with House Republicans. There�s a "broad
range of idea on how to do this," he said, without giving details of what a replacement
might look like.
The VP-elect added that �it will be an orderly transition to something better...using executive
authority to ensure it�s an orderly transition. We�re working now on a series of executive
orders that will enable that orderly transition to take place even as Congress appropriately
debates alternatives to and replacements for ObamaCare.�
Rep. Chris Collins added that, "The president in his first day in office is going to do
some level of executive orders related to ObamaCare," however he added that there were
"no details whatsoever" on the orders discussed in the meeting. Rep. Mark Amodei of Nevada
said Pence had told Republican lawmakers that "we are mindful of disrupting the markets."
Incoming White House press secretary Sean Spicer told reporters Tuesday that Trump considers
Inauguration Day as "Day One" of his presidency: "He is prepared and ready to go. As he's said
before, he wants to enact real change on day one. That will mean within hours of being
sworn in," Spicer said. "He put his team on notice that he expects nothing less than everyone
getting right to work for the American people."
Pence's call for an "orderly" transition comes as healthcare experts warn that the Republican
strategy of repealing ObamaCare on a delay without an immediate replacement would cause
chaos, leading to insurers dropping out of the market and people having few or no options
for coverage.
At the same time, in a series of posts on Twitter, Trump urged fellow Republicans to
assign blame to Obama's Democrats: "Republicans must be careful in that the Dems own the failed
ObamaCare disaster, with its poor coverage and massive premium increases," Trump tweeted.
"Don't let the Schumer clowns out of this web."
�Massive increases of ObamaCare will take place this year and Dems are to blame for
the mess,� he added. �It will fall of its own weight -- be careful!�
Despite Trump's eagerness to unwind Obamacare, Republicans will have obstacles to overcome.
For one, they have not decided how long to delay the repeal of ObamaCare. Options floated
range from two years to four years. Some Senate Republicans, meanwhile, are uneasy with the
idea of repealing ObamaCare without a replacement immediately available. Roughly twenty million
people stand to lose coverage if ObamaCare is repealed and no replacement materializes.
As The Hill notes, Senator Rand Paul this week became the latest Republican to call
for simultaneous repeal and replace.
And while Republicans from Pence on down are clearly eager to get rid of ObamaCare, there
is much more cautious enthusiasm among the GOP about crafting a healthcare policy to
replace it. Lawmakers close to the pending overhaul described it as a lengthy and deliberative
process, aimed to minimizing disruptions for Americans as the nation�s healthcare system
changes.
�We have to make sure there�s a very effective transition going forward,� said Rep. Kevin
Brady (R-Texas), who chairs the House Ways and Means Committee. �I�m hopeful that
we can continue to lay out those pieces on a step-by-step basis through this year.�
�The devil is always in the details. What does repeal include, and what is the pace
of replacement so that we can do it responsibly,� said Rep. Patrick Meehan (R-Pa.). �It�s
not going to be any kind of one-and-done process. It�ll be work that will go on for a period
of time.�
GOP lawmakers emerging from the meeting with Trump�s inner circle said no details for
a replacement were discussed. Rep. Walter Jones equated the powwow to a �pep rally�
aimed at boosting enthusiasm among Republicans for the job ahead.
Still, GOP conservatives in the caucus are clearly eager to get moving on repeal, even
as a replacement continues to remain unclear. �Healthcare will be better and less expensive
when ObamaCare is repealed,� said Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), head of the conservative
Freedom Caucus. �I believe that.�
Meanwhile, in a bid to salvage a major piece of his political legacy, Obama is meeting
on Wednesday with congressional Democrats, including U.S. Senate Democratic Leader Chuck
Schumer, to discuss ways to counter Republican-led efforts to repeal the Affordable Care Act.
Obama met with House and Senate Democrats at the Capitol in the morning to talk about
ways that Democrats can keep in place at least some parts of the divisive health-care law,
the signature legislative accomplishment of Democrats during Mr. Obama�s eight years
in office. Obama told Democrats that he takes responsibility for not having fully communicated
the potential benefits of the health-care law, according to a Democratic aide.
�Despite the negativity you have a big chunk of the country that wants this thing to succeed,�
the president said, according to the aide. �There are real lives at stake in this thing.�
Representative Louise Slaughter, a New York Democrat, told reporters Obama�s speech
was "nostalgic" and that he spoke of the 20 million people who rely on Obamacare. He spoke
of letters received from people who said they would have died without it, she said. She
scoffed at the GOP�s repeal strategy, saying, "You wouldn�t think of tearing down a house
before you have a new one." Asked whether she intends to work with Republicans on a
replacement, she said no.
"We don�t even think of repealing the law. Our job is to save the one we�ve got," Slaughter
said.
Democratic Representative Tim Ryan of Ohio said the ball is in Republicans� court on
a replacement. "They�ve got to come up with a lot of answers if they repeal it," he said.
Obama might have some success in preserving at least parts of Obamacare: Trump has vowed
to protect some popular parts of the Obamacare law, such as barring insurance companies from
denying coverage to people with pre-existing medical conditions. But he wants to replace
it with a system that is "much better and much less expensive," as he told Reuters on
Oct. 25 after premium increases emerged in some healthcare markets.
A House Republican leadership aide said there are lots of Republican �ideas� but it
was too early to know what will end up in replacement legislation.
Cited by Reuters, the American Medical Association doctors' group urged caution in making changes
to Obamacare, which the organization supported. "In considering opportunities to make coverage
more affordable and accessible to all Americans, it is essential that gains in the number of
Americans with health insurance coverage be maintained," the AMA said in a letter to congressional
leaders.
The AMA said before any action is taken on Obamacare policymakers should lay out for
the American people "in reasonable detail what will replace current policies."
That, however, does not appear realistic if, indeed, Trump plans to issue an executive
order in just 16 days beginning the process of undoing Obamacare.

from Chromium OS
Chromium OS is the open-source version of
Google's Chrome OS
which has been specifically designed
keeping in mind a specific hardware configuration
that is the Chromebook
due to this reason
the hardware support for Chromium OS
is not that developed
the specific build of Chromium OS
that we will be installing
has been made available
Thanks to ArnoldTheBat
we will be using this build
which has additional hardware support
than what is currently available in
vanilla Chromium OS
but even then
one might face a lot of bugs
due to incompatible drivers
you can open a bug report
at the GitHub project
the links of which
is provided in the video description
this will ensure that the future builds
will support your hardware
having said that
I would advise you
to first try running Chromium OS
as a live operating system
from a pen drive
if you are satisfied
with the performance
then you can install it
on your system
in this tutorial
I will show you
how to make this
live USB Chromium OS pen drive
and then
how to use that for installing it
so let's start
the prerequisites for this guide are
you will require a system
with at least 2 GB RAM
a spare hard disk or solid state drive
which you can completely erase
since the installation will require it
to be erased completely
also your system should have Wireless LAN support
since Chromium OS depends on that
also for installation
you will require 8 GB pen drive
also you will have to download
the Chromium OS special build from Arnold
the links for which
are provided in the video description down
and you will require two software
for making the installation pen drive
that is 7zip and win32 image writer
the links for these two software
are also provided down in the video description
which you can see
by clicking on the view more button

depending on your system architecture
either 32 bit or 64 bit
select the proper download link
since my system is 64 bit
I will select this download link

under this you will find several versions of Chromium OS
what we are interested is
in the latest special build release of Chromium OS
so to get that first
we will order this list by last modified tab
click on last modified again
click on last modified

so the latest version available is
CAMD64OS 7zip file
this also has got two versions
depending on your system architecture
select either 64 bit or an X86 bit
since my system is 64 bit
I will select this file over here
at the time of recording this video
the latest version of special build
was released on October 30th 2016
ok once we have got all these utilities downloaded
we will install them respectively
the 7zip and win32diskimager
installation process is simple
so I will skip that process
and we will straight away go to
creation of installation medium
so first I'll go to my downloads folder
this is the file that I have downloaded
to extract it right-click on it
and select 7zip and then
click on extract here
after extraction you will get a file
of 7.5 gigabits size
it would be named as ChromiumOS_image.img
this file over here
after extracting it
insert your pen drive into your system
and open the win32image software
here this is the software
win32diskimager ok
in this
it will ask for the image file
so we will open that file
click on this icon over here
to browse for that file
go to the downloads folder
or wherever you have saved that extracted image file
that 7.14 GB file
so I have saved it in
downloads compressed over here
this is the file
I will select that
go to the software win32diskimager
and then select your device
under here be very careful at this stage
to select the proper device
otherwise you might erase your hard disk
make sure that I am selecting my pen drive
I will just check
Check it in my my computer
here this is my pen drive
that is the j drive
I will go in the software
and select J drive
make sure that you don't have
any files that you would like to backup
before continuing this process
because after this
the entire pen drive would be erased
and you won't be able to recover
any files from it
so after selecting a proper device
and after making sure
that you have got all the backups
for the data present on the pen drive
click on write
this process will take around 10 to 15 minutes
depending on your pen drive speed
and your USB port
after this process is finished
you should get a properly bootable Chromium OS
on your pen drive
so once this process is finished
you can remove the pen drive
and load it on the system
on which you want to install Chromium OS
we will do that right now
I will install Chromium OS
on my old Dell in N5010 laptop
so I will insert my USB drive in it
and then I have to boot it via the USB drive
for that depending on your machine
you will either have to change your BIOS setting
and set a higher priority to your USB drive
in the BIOS setup
or you might choose it from a boot menu
to select a pen drive as your boot medium
I will show you how to change it
in your BIOS on my laptop
so for that
you will have to enter the BIOS setup
this also depends on your computer
and you can Google search it
for which key
your model allows you to enter the BIOS setup
in this dell laptop
I have to press the F2 key to enter the BIOS setup
so I'll do that right now
ok now I am in the BIOS setup
to change the boot medium preference
I will go to the boot setup
and set the first boot priority
to my USB drive
as you can see from my current settings
it is set at USB storage device itself
because this laptop actually doesn't have a hard disk
I usually use puppy Linux on this
via USB drive
so that's why it's already been set properly
and no change is required in my system
now I'll let it boot into Chromium OS
so I will just restart it
it will load Chromium OS and as you can see
Chromium OS logo is being shown
and it's loading now
depending on your system hardware
it is possible
that you might not see this boot Logo
in that case there is some compatibility issue
with your graphic card and Chromium OS drivers
so you'll have to report this bug
on the bug report page
that I had discussed previously
ok anyway so in my case
it boots properly into the boot screen
and as you can see
I have already setup my account
in your case it will show you
a welcome screen and ask you to set it up
you will required to configure your WiFi connection
after doing that
you can login to your account
and check whether the Chromium OS
is supporting all your hardware
if not
then again you will have to
either report it on the GitHub page
or you might have to tweak the hardware drivers
if you know to do it
but anyway
after validating that the Chromium OS
is running properly on your system
we will continue with the installation process
that is to install it on your hard disk
so for doing that Press Ctrl + Alt + F2
you can press this button anytime after
Chromium OS has loaded
so I will press it now
Control Alt and F2
ok now you will be brought to this Developer Console
where you have to login
using your default login
the default username is chronos
so I will login using chronos
as my username hit enter
and no password should be asked
after you come to this prompt
type in lsblk hit enter
what this command will do is
it will list down all your disc drives
and their respective sizes
that are currently connected to your system
as you can see in my case
there are basically three disk types
that it has identified that is sda sr0 and loop0
sda is my pen drive
and since this system doesn't have any hard drive
so there is no other drive mentioned
sr0 and loop0 are part of the system memory itself
so in your system
find out the code
for your hard disc or solid state drive
it might be sda or sdb
depending on your system configuration
after you have identified disk code
type this command followed by your harddisk code
in my case I'll just for dummy purpose
I will just select the pen drive itself
it will not allow me to install
but just for demonstration purpose
I will show you what happens
so I will select sda
before you hit enter I would like to warn you
that after this command all the content
on this particular disk drive
that you mentioned here
will get erased
so make sure that
you have got proper backup
or there is no data
that you require from this particular disk drive
ok having said that
I'll just hit enter
ok now as you can see
it started to check whether the image
that's on the pen drive is correct or not
It has also mentioned that
this disk drive is the same as from which it has booted
so in the end it won't succeed
but I am showing you this process for demonstration purpose
in your case that warning would not be shown
ok after this installation is finished
it might take around 15 to 20 min or 1 hour
it all depends on your system configuration
If you are using SSD
it would be quite quick
if it's a hard disk
then it might take a long time
after installation is finished
you can set up your Google account
and then I will show you how to update this system
ok after you have completed installation
login into your account
I will login as guest
ok the Chrome Browser will open up
so to update this Chromium OS
what you have to do is
go into the settings
click on this 3 dots icon over here
and then click on settings
and under here click on about Chromium OS
over here and here
click on this button
check for and apply update
so as soon as ArnoldTheBat releases an update
you will get the latest version of Chromium OS on your system

Kid Niki - Radical Ninja (NES) | Quickie Review - Duration: 6:17.
The Nintendo Entertainment System is home to several bad-ass ninjas: Ryu Hayabusa, Kage,
and even Ninja Kid's Kyo—okay, not so much Ninja Kid, but the others are pretty
sweet!
But the question remains--which NES ninja is the most radical of them all?
Following the success of 1984's Kung-Fu Master, Irem wasted little time in releasing
yet another martial arts-themed game, this time taking place in Feudal Japan.
Kid Niki: Radical Ninja was released for arcades in late 1986, with the US version localized
by Data East.
Not long after, in 1987, a home version was released for the NES, also published by Data
East.
Training in his dojo, Kid Niki is interrupted by a homing pigeon struck down by an arrow
with a note attached from none other than Princess Margo, pleading for rescue from the
loathsome clutches of the evil Stone Wizard.
With a butchered battle cry of bad "Engrish", Kid Niki busts through the wall of the dojo
and sets off on his quest.
Kid Niki is your basic, '80s platformer, where you navigate through stages moving from
left to right, all of the while avoiding numerous enemies, traps and pitfalls.
Equipped with a spinning sword, Niki fends off against hordes of evil ninjas from close
range.
Now don't be fooled by the cuteness of these adorable baddies—one hit and you're dead!
Each of the eight stages begins with a title card displaying which end-boss you'll face-off
against.
Just like in Kung-Fu Master, each of Kid Niki's stages offers an end-level opponent, which
at the time, was still a relatively fresh concept.
Each end boss is unique unto each other, and not just simple palette swaps.
Take for instance the first boss, Death Breath.
He spews a noxious cloud from his cesspool of a mouth, and as a kid I always found this
hilarious.
The game's sense of humor is one of Kid Niki's more endearing traits, and accompanied
with its cartoony, anime-like aesthetic, it's the type of adventure that attracts more kids
to it than a stranger with a sack-full of candy, singing a siren song from the front
seat of a rainbow colored van.
Another Irem staple (at the time, anyway) was the use of vocal sound effects, similar
to the ones used for the bosses in Kung-Fu Master.
The grunts from Death Breath as he absorbs a blow, or when he emits a mouthful of foul,
rancid breath in your face is pretty damn cool for an '87 title, and not something
you saw often in older NES games.
While these sound effects are pretty nifty, the music is unfortunately lackluster.
Kid Niki only offers a handful of tracks, with the main theme playing throughout the
majority of the game save for boss fights, cave areas and bonus rounds.
While the main theme is pretty damn catchy, it would've been nice to hear a few other
songs within the game.
For the most part, Kid Niki is pretty simple to get the hang of.
While the bulk of the game has you jumping over obstacles and fighting goons, there are
the occasional sections of stages that allow Niki to climb, such as the trees in stage
2.
This actually leads to a hidden bonus stage, which surprisingly, Kid Niki has several hidden
throughout the game.
Now in '87, hidden bonus stages like this were pretty cool, and like the boss voices,
were still somewhat of an anomaly in comparison with Kid Niki's platforming peers.
The bonus stages yield useful items, otherwise not commonly found within the regular levels,
such as a protective shield which takes out any enemy that wanders within its field, a
white gi, which allows Niki to absorb an extra hit of damage, and of course, invaluable 1-ups.
I've always found these bonus levels cleverly hidden and a ton of fun to locate.
And there's even shortcuts, too!
Kid Niki starts off manageable enough before really taking off the reigns after stage four.
Like I mentioned before, it's one-hit-deaths, but thankfully the game is extremely generous
with checkpoints.
You can also take advantage of unlimited continues, although continuing will restart you from
the beginning of the level.
I can live with that.
The biggest obstacles, which come later in the game, are learning the patterns of certain
enemies, and figuring out the tricks and weaknesses to each boss.
Kid Niki is a pretty fun game, and one which is easy to get into.
With a gradual learning curve, Kid Niki is simple to figure out from the get-go.
The controls are responsive, and while they may not be as tight as say, Mega Man, they're
still no excuse for failure.
The game's difficulty gradually increases as you go—which should be the case anyway,
and the fun, cute, anime-like graphics set in Feudal Japan makes for a helluva fun time!
And great news!
Kid Niki is still a pretty inexpensive game!
It's not available on the Virtual Console, but for the price that the cart is going for
these days makes this one a no-brainer!
If you want a quick and simple game to sit down to and play for just minutes at a time,
then definitely add Kid Niki to your collection.

Singing Tips For Breathing - Duration: 6:18.
Breathing and singing go together intimately.
If your vocal cords are starving for air, your singing suffers.
When you're singing does it help your breathing to pull in your tummy?
There are some mistakes with pulling in your tummy I'd like to share with you.
Take a couple of deep breaths and join me as I give you some singing tips for breathing.
Hi I'm Chuck Gilmore with Power To Sing.
When you're singing, does it help your breathing to pull in your tummy?
It helps me.
But it can also cause problems if done incorrectly.
Let's briefly review diaphragmatic breathing.
For essential breathing basics be sure to watch Episodes 15 and 16.
The diaphragm is an umbrella shaped muscle just inside the lower part of the ribcage.
When it flattens out, it pushes the abdomen outward while creating more space in the lung
cavity.
This space creates a vacuum in the lungs which is quickly filled with air rushing in.
As you use your air when you're singing, the diaphragm returns to it's original umbrella-like
shape under the rib cage.
The tummy returns to its' normal flattened shape.
With your next breath, the cycle repeats and so on.
Sounds easy right?
Here are some singing tips for breathing to make sure things work right.
Avoid high chest, shallow breathing.
This tends to raise the larynx and add tension to the outer neck muscles.
This makes it harder for the vocal cords to work easily and freely.
When done correctly, you don't have to "take" a breath when you sing.
You just breath.
You stand with your feet about shoulder width apart.
Your chest is up, shoulders back and your head level looking straight ahead.
Your hips are rolled slightly forward and tummy in.
Instead of "taking" a breath, just relax the tummy.
Sometimes it's referred to letting it drop.
This allows the diaphragm to flatten and air rushes into the lungs.
You don't have to take a breath, the air fills the vacuum in the lungs without any
effort.

As you sing you're using the air.
As you do, gradually and gently pull your tummy inward toward your back.
This seems to help the air move steadily to the vocal cords and outward with your singing
voice.
A mistake can be made if you overdo pulling your stomach inward.
Just a slight and gradual pull inward is plenty.
You'll be the one who finds just the right balance.
But guard against too much tension or force.
4.
There are three times I find it helpful to be more forceful pulling my tummy in.
A. When I have to sustain a note for a long time [Demo]
B. When I have a high note in my upper range held long or short.
This seems to help me be on pitch.
[Demo] Again, a potential mistake is jerking your tummy in too hard.
This can cause too much tension, push you sharp, blow your cords into falsetto, etc.
It takes time to find the right balance.
C. When I need to project my voice on stage, during public speaking, or any other time
I need to speak loud.
Also, you need to project your voice even though you have a mic.
The sound engineers will balance the volume.
If you're not projecting, the mic will not help you and the audience won't hear you.

I've also noticed that I tend to hold my stomach in as I finish using the air.
Then, when I take a breath, I relax and "drop" my stomach...let the diaphragm drop, and refill
with air for the next phrase.
[Demo] As simple as this sounds, it's a struggle
for many singers.
You have to practice breathing this way until it becomes a habit.
Practicing your songs while focusing on breathing, will make it easier to breath correctly when
you perform for an audience.
These singing tips for breathing also applies to each vocal type.
Your vocal type is not whether you're soprano, alto, tenor or bass.
Your vocal type is what you tend to do when you sing from your chest into your head voice.

What makes a good movie ?
That's has to depend on what the viewer wants from a movie?
What I usually want from a movie tends to be :
a good story line, plot, interesting characters, amazing visuals and good pacing.
But, if I had to choose , only one aspect that will break or make a movie for me
that's going to have to be characters
If you don't have interesting characters then I really don't care what happens
Why should I be invested in this movie? Invested in the story line?
And that's what makes a good movie for me.
And I think that's why I do such a long range of favorite movies
that tend to not fall in the same category or genre.
Because my-(brain is crazy).
But then again, I do enjoy movies sometimes that are so bad that they're good in a way
My top favorite 2016 movie is Moana
So, my guidelines of rating a movie tends to involve :
A - the plot and story
B - Characters
C - Visuals which includes animation, wardrobe, background designs, and so forth
D - Pacing
And E- Music
I will try to not spoil the movie for you
Guys, you have to see the movie because it's so good in my humble opinion
So, we have a girl who does on an adventure for the good of her people
which really struck me because we always get these stories
of somebody ( people in governing positions) who wants an adventure
and they tend to be a little selfish on what they want
when they should be thinking about the good of their people in a sense
but I think the plot is pretty obvious
if you do know the science of how islands are created
All the characters in Moana are just so interesting, funny and well rounded
I just can't choose a favorite character
The animation is so beautiful. The ocean in this movie looks so realistic.
The pacing in the movie is nice. We get to know the characters and the story line
is not very heavy. It's very light.
The music in this was amazing,
We are getting so much character development in these tiny segments of songs
that you really got to know the characters and if you really listen, you do get so much history
and you really wonder about what these characters meant
Why these specific words were chosen?
Which really talks about the dedication that Disney and all the people working there put into this movie.
Were there parts that I did not like? Yes, there were parts that I did not like
but they were very minimal and even then I don't think it much away from the story
Would I recommand this movie?
YES! Of course, I would recommend this movie to anybody

I'm not 18 yet
and I need to be 18 to collect the money
So I panicked a little
I talked to my [Nexus] teachers
and said what do I do now?
More or less, I can't collect that money right now.
I'm going to talk to Vermont Special Arts this week
to see if they will help.
My school can't
can't put the teacher's names down to collect the money
for a lot of reasons
and I understand that
but I'm also like - what do I do now?
I don't think we can raise enough money without the GoFundMe
Sorry, my phone isn't on a very steady surface.
But I'm not giving up.

how to install Chromium OS
on any laptop or PC

Before we start this tutorial
Let us first
take a look at what you can expect
from Chromium OS
Chromium OS is the open-source version of
Google's Chrome OS
which has been specifically designed
keeping in mind a specific hardware configuration
that is the Chromebook
due to this reason
the hardware support for Chromium OS
is not that developed
the specific build of Chromium OS
that we will be installing
has been made available
Thanks to ArnoldTheBat
we will be using this build
which has additional hardware support
than what is currently available in
vanilla Chromium OS
but even then
one might face a lot of bugs
due to incompatible drivers
you can open a bug report
at the GitHub project
the links of which
is provided in the video description
this will ensure that the future builds
will support your hardware
having said that
I would advise you
to first try running Chromium OS
as a live operating system
from a pen drive
if you are satisfied
with the performance
then you can install it
on your system
in this tutorial
I will show you
how to make this
live USB Chromium OS pen drive
and then
how to use that for installing it
so let's start
the prerequisites for this guide are
you will require a system
with at least 2 GB RAM
a spare hard disk or solid state drive
which you can completely erase
since the installation will require it
to be erased completely
also your system should have Wireless LAN support
since Chromium OS depends on that
also for installation
you will require 8 GB pen drive
also you will have to download
the Chromium OS special build from Arnold
the links for which
are provided in the video description down
and you will require two software
for making the installation pen drive
that is 7zip and win32 image writer
the links for these two software
are also provided down in the video description
which you can see
by clicking on the view more button
this is the 7zip download website
depending on your system architecture
either 32 bit or 64 bit
select the proper download link
since my system is 64 bit
I will select this download link
over here download .exe 64 bit x64
this one
this is the site for downloading image writer
to get the download link from this site
click on this link
over here external downloads
then the download should automatically start
here it started downloading
and the next thing
that we will require to download is
our Chromium OS special image
provided by ArnoldTheBat
so for that will open that website
that is chromium.arnoldthebat.co.uk
ok on this site you will see 3 directories
that is daily special and weekly
click on the special directory over here
under this you will find several versions of Chromium OS
what we are interested is
in the latest special build release of Chromium OS
so to get that first
we will order this list by last modified tab
click on last modified again
click on last modified
ok
so the latest version available is
CAMD64OS 7zip file
this also has got two versions
depending on your system architecture
select either 64 bit or an X86 bit
since my system is 64 bit
I will select this file over here
at the time of recording this video
the latest version of special build
was released on October 30th 2016
ok once we have got all these utilities downloaded
we will install them respectively
the 7zip and win32diskimager
installation process is simple
so I will skip that process
and we will straight away go to
creation of installation medium
so first I'll go to my downloads folder
this is the file that I have downloaded
to extract it right-click on it
and select 7zip and then
click on extract here
after extraction you will get a file
of 7.5 gigabits size
it would be named as ChromiumOS_image.img
this file over here
after extracting it
insert your pen drive into your system
and open the win32image software
here this is the software
win32diskimager ok
in this
it will ask for the image file
so we will open that file
click on this icon over here
to browse for that file
go to the downloads folder
or wherever you have saved that extracted image file
that 7.14 GB file
so I have saved it in
downloads compressed over here
this is the file
I will select that
go to the software win32diskimager
and then select your device
under here be very careful at this stage
to select the proper device
otherwise you might erase your hard disk
make sure that I am selecting my pen drive
I will just check
Check it in my my computer
here this is my pen drive
that is the j drive
I will go in the software
and select J drive
make sure that you don't have
any files that you would like to backup
before continuing this process
because after this
the entire pen drive would be erased
and you won't be able to recover
any files from it
so after selecting a proper device
and after making sure
that you have got all the backups
for the data present on the pen drive
click on write
this process will take around 10 to 15 minutes
depending on your pen drive speed
and your USB port
after this process is finished
you should get a properly bootable Chromium OS
on your pen drive
so once this process is finished
you can remove the pen drive
and load it on the system
on which you want to install Chromium OS
we will do that right now
I will install Chromium OS
on my old Dell in N5010 laptop
so I will insert my USB drive in it
and then I have to boot it via the USB drive
for that depending on your machine
you will either have to change your BIOS setting
and set a higher priority to your USB drive
in the BIOS setup
or you might choose it from a boot menu
to select a pen drive as your boot medium
I will show you how to change it
in your BIOS on my laptop
so for that
you will have to enter the BIOS setup
this also depends on your computer
and you can Google search it
for which key
your model allows you to enter the BIOS setup
in this dell laptop
I have to press the F2 key to enter the BIOS setup
so I'll do that right now
ok now I am in the BIOS setup
to change the boot medium preference
I will go to the boot setup
and set the first boot priority
to my USB drive
as you can see from my current settings
it is set at USB storage device itself
because this laptop actually doesn't have a hard disk
I usually use puppy Linux on this
via USB drive
so that's why it's already been set properly
and no change is required in my system
now I'll let it boot into Chromium OS
so I will just restart it
it will load Chromium OS and as you can see
Chromium OS logo is being shown
and it's loading now
depending on your system hardware
it is possible
that you might not see this boot Logo
in that case there is some compatibility issue
with your graphic card and Chromium OS drivers
so you'll have to report this bug
on the bug report page
that I had discussed previously
ok anyway so in my case
it boots properly into the boot screen
and as you can see
I have already setup my account
in your case it will show you
a welcome screen and ask you to set it up
you will required to configure your WiFi connection
after doing that
you can login to your account
and check whether the Chromium OS
is supporting all your hardware
if not
then again you will have to
either report it on the GitHub page
or you might have to tweak the hardware drivers
if you know to do it
but anyway
after validating that the Chromium OS
is running properly on your system
we will continue with the installation process
that is to install it on your hard disk
so for doing that Press Ctrl + Alt + F2
you can press this button anytime after
Chromium OS has loaded
so I will press it now
Control Alt and F2
ok now you will be brought to this Developer Console
where you have to login
using your default login
the default username is chronos
so I will login using chronos
as my username hit enter
and no password should be asked
after you come to this prompt
type in lsblk hit enter
what this command will do is
it will list down all your disc drives
and their respective sizes
that are currently connected to your system
as you can see in my case
there are basically three disk types
that it has identified that is sda sr0 and loop0
sda is my pen drive
and since this system doesn't have any hard drive
so there is no other drive mentioned
sr0 and loop0 are part of the system memory itself
so in your system
find out the code
for your hard disc or solid state drive
it might be sda or sdb
depending on your system configuration
after you have identified disk code
type this command followed by your harddisk code
in my case I'll just for dummy purpose
I will just select the pen drive itself
it will not allow me to install
but just for demonstration purpose
I will show you what happens
so I will select sda
before you hit enter I would like to warn you
that after this command all the content
on this particular disk drive
that you mentioned here
will get erased
so make sure that
you have got proper backup
or there is no data
that you require from this particular disk drive
ok having said that
I'll just hit enter
ok now as you can see
it started to check whether the image
that's on the pen drive is correct or not
It has also mentioned that
this disk drive is the same as from which it has booted
so in the end it won't succeed
but I am showing you this process for demonstration purpose
in your case that warning would not be shown
ok after this installation is finished
it might take around 15 to 20 min or 1 hour
it all depends on your system configuration
If you are using SSD
it would be quite quick
if it's a hard disk
then it might take a long time
after installation is finished
you can set up your Google account
and then I will show you how to update this system
ok after you have completed installation
login into your account
I will login as guest
ok the Chrome Browser will open up
so to update this Chromium OS
what you have to do is
go into the settings
click on this 3 dots icon over here
and then click on settings
and under here click on about Chromium OS
over here and here
click on this button
check for and apply update
so as soon as ArnoldTheBat releases an update
you will get the latest version of Chromium OS on your system
