Youtube daily report Jan 9 2017

I mean, the damage you do

when don't want to hurt

others and then you hurt yourself. When you

want to see a smile on the other's faces

you forget you own happiness, and

that is very bad for me. I mean

make others happy its okay but when

you leave your happiness

apart, that is unacceptable and that

is not being selfish because you

have to know how to express yourself and say

what you really like without fear of being judged

Without fear that others dislike it.

because in the end, when

you're in your bedroom and you're alone

in your bed, It is to yourself that you have

to satisfy and when you're out

and you pretend to be false

to the other. They will like it,

not you. When you get home,

you're going to say: shit, I don't like this.

So, life is like so short.

Life is like a blink.that we

should know how to enjoy it to the fullest

in the way we really want it.

because when you do something

for the benefit of another maybe you feel

happy because that person is being

being, but you're happy for the person not

for you. I don't mean

that we should not make the other

feel good, as long as

you also feel good about what you are

doing. Do not do things just

to fit into a space because

When you do something you do not like, without you

without you wanting it simply because someone

else wants it, simply because

other people want to be like this

and you do like this, when you remember

that moment, you will not to remember it

beautifully because It was not

something that you liked, You did it simply

to satisfy others and that is not the point.

I mean

The idea is to remember the things we do

remember the things we do as

something beautiful because it was something

that you did as you wanted to, because you

like it because you wanted it.

Although it did not turn out well, but it

but it was something that you wanted at the time.

It is very ugly to remember things and think:

I should not have done that... Late

Late.

I feel that life has to be handled

more in our way than in the form of

the public. because one does

not live for the other.

That's how I see it, It may be selfish,

but in the end, when we're dying

we will realize these things and

We do not have to wait until we are dying to realize

that one has to live

for oneself, that one has to be happy for oneself

And that's supposed to be what it's all about.

You do not come to life to make

everyone happy except you.

You can make others happy as long

as you also feel happy about that. there is

no problem but when it

becomes something manipulative.

It is not so much manipulation,

because the manipulation begins with you.

If you accept that

it is so, obviously people will continue

to do so. They will keep

pushing you to do whatever it takes.

but when you say

no, that you don't going to do because you don't

like, so you don't do it and finish

So that is what I feel, people

should be more...

more rebellious.

Do not say yes, learn to say

no. Not always you have to do

things,

Not always what you do is going to like everyone and that

is not bad. When you do something that

everyone likes, check it out because

something is wrong because always what one does

is not going to like everyone and that

it's okay because it's normal

We are supposed to be different minds.

Everyone thinks differently and you

can not satisfy the whole world.

What you are going to do obviously is not

going to like everyone, We must learn

to say no. We must to learn.

That is what I think.

Traveling With Pete: Point Addis - Duration: 15:31.

Where're we going to go? What are they potential places?

Give me the deets (details). Give me the down low.

Well, we're going to go somewhere down The Great Ocean Road, I think, but we'll see.

If Torquay is a bit busy we'll keep going and find a spot we like.

That's it. Hopefully, it's not going to be ridiculous.

I have the worst feeling that Torquay is going to be a nightmare.

Yep.

Dad's like, "You're going to get down there and it's going to be probably relatively easy to

get in line to get some fish and chips if you're willing to wait long enough, but it's

going to take half an hour to find a carpark."

Oh, we can keep going. I've got no plans.

That's it. So, we'll see where we end up guys. Stay tuned.

Where are we Dave? Where is this?

Point Addis.

So, this is on the way to Anglesea.

And it's so weird, right?

We were... we just drove down, it's a sunny day, there sky's no clouds anywhere... and

all of a sudden just fog coming off the sea.

Fog, fog, fog.

So, let me show you this, give you a look outside behind me.

Check this out.

Let's see what I can see. Yeah.

There's just fog everywhere.

Fog, fog, fog coming off the ocean, coming off the ocean at Point Addis.

So, this is really close to Bells Beach.

Bells Beach. Past Torquay and on the way to Anglesea.

So, we're going to go for a walk and check out the beach down here before hopefully going

to grab some fish and chips from Anglesea?

Yeah, why not?!

Yeah, let's do it.

So, the Koorie Cultural Walk.

I believe the Koorie are the local indigenous people in this area.

Check out this sign as well.

And it's actually a nude beach.

We'll get to that in a sec (second).

That's pretty crazy, Dave.

Here comes the sun.

What does it say?

Southside Beach has been a declared nude beach since 1986.

This map shows the designated nude beach area.

So, we can't go there, or Dave might take me there.

Clothing is optional within this area.

Southside Beach is open to all visitors.

Oh my gosh.

So, here are the rules, guys.

Be sun-smart.

Sunscreen everywhere. Everywhere!

That is very cool. I don't think I've ever seen that before.

What is it?

Is it just metal in there to make sure that you don't slip over?

(I've) never seen anything like that.

It's like plastic.

Very weird.

So, here you go.

No spearfishing, no fishing, no touching of shellfish or crabs.

Don't touch the shellfish or crabs guys, but bring your dogs!

So, here we are, guys.

We've come down Point Addiscot (Point Addis*), down past the lookout to check out the beach.

I'm here with Dave, and it's just so weird.

You'll see all of this fog that looks like it's only 100m, maybe less, above the ocean,

above the ground.

And so, we drove through all of this fog when coming down to the beach here and (we) were

really shocked because it was a really really sunny day.

There were...

Oh, just going to take my thongs off.

There was just no sun, sorry, no sun, there was no clouds* in the sky.

So, we came all the way down here thinking it'd be incredibly sunny, and the sun is there

as you can probably see, but the clouds are everywhere.

But this place is absolutely beautiful.

I think it's been years and years and years since I've been here.

And you'll see the point out here.

And if you remember from the Barwon Heads episode that's a bluff where you've got that

cliff, a bluff.

So, I might go have a dip.

I might go chuck my... get my feet in the water.

What about you, Dave? Are you going to get in?

Let's do it.

Just, I've got to realise that I'm holding my phone and don't drop my phone.

How cool is this though, guys? Look at this.

In the ocean, cliff in the background.

It's actually really nice, hey?

What... how hot would you say it is at the moment, Dave?

Yeah, yeah, temperature wise?

It's probably...

Mid to high twenties (25-29C).

The water's pretty nice too.

I guess this is the part of summer once you get really into it that it starts getting nice.

And Victoria's really known for, what, really really cold water, right?

Yeah.

Like... It takes a while. It takes a while to get used to the water.

Far out.

Look at these cliffs as well.

See the cliffs around here guys.

There's a little cave/indent over here.

How chill is this?

So, yeah, if you guys come down here to check out Bells Beach, to go to Torquay, to have

a look at Anglesea, then I definitely recommend that you come down here and check out Point

Addiscot (Point Addis*), I think it is. Point Addis, Addiscot.

Just stay away from the nude end of the beach.

Whereabouts is that, Dave?

Where's the nude end? That way. You must know this pretty well.

Yeah.

That's the nude end of the beach.

Yeah, I think that's the nude end.

Man they make them walk the furthest?

I would've thought it'd be funnier if you had the nude end of the beach right here at

the end of the stairs.

And everyone has to walk through the nude end of the beach?

Yeah, that's it you've got to walk through it.

Oh, (there's) fish.

Look at this.

Huh? Fishy fish?

Look at that.

The sun is... oh, the fog is actually going out to see it looks like.

Huh?

You'll see in the sky. The sky's starting to clear up a little bit.

Just a little bit.

But you can see that fog it's moving out to the ocean.

Yeah, yeah yeah, oh it jumped out of the water!

Guys, you've got to check out this epic epic epic amount of erosion that has occurred on

these cliffs here in front of me.

You can obviously see that down here all of these channels that the water flows down whenever

it rains, and you can see as well down the bottom that the high-tide mark is right up

against the bottom of this cliff, and all of this stuff just falls off as a result of

the tides coming in everyday, and all of this stuff comes down as a result of humidity and

the rain and water, water running down the side of the cliff, and this is how these coastlines

get shaped.

And, as a result as well, you can see you have massive rocks like this just falling

out of these cliff faces and leading to, obviously, all of the debris down here and the sand that

builds up on the beach.

So, these are all limestone, again, I believe.

So, layers and layers and layers of beaches upon beaches from millions and millions of

years ago, and you've got a shit-load of different fossils that you can find in these areas,

and I think, quite often, geologists and paleontologists come down here to check out these areas and

find some quite interesting things at times.

These things in front of me are part of the reason that you have to be very careful when

you're around cliffs like this, and (they are) part of the reason that you would stay

away from areas like that, especially if you're going to sunbathe on beaches like this, because

these huge huge rocks as you can see here, (I'll) put my hand on it, they often fall

down, quite often, and there have been quite a few deaths in the past in locations like

this around Australia.

So, just be very very careful if you come to these areas not to sit...

Oh, I'll quickly do something naughty and walk under it,

but don't sit under these ledges for very long.

And you can see here, look at all these cracks along the ledge.

So, (it's) not the safest place to be.

Oh, look at this.

That's crazy.

This big slab of rock in front of us lying up vertical like this.

And check out this, some people have been stacking some rocks up.

Here's what we were talking about before, guys.

So, Australia and flies, guys.

Dave just walked in this cave and found these flies all on the... all on the cave here.

So, I thought I would do something funny.

There must be millions here, literally millions.

Look at this, look at this. I'll get close to it.

Oh, you're not going to be able to see it.

Alright. Woah, shit!

Woah Dave! Woah! Fuuuu*&...

Oh, far out.

I'll try that again.

That was epic.

There's so many.

There are so many.

So, let's see if we can get these flies to go ballistic guys.

(Let's) see if I can stand it.

Oh, that's funny.

I'm so glad none of them went in my eyes or my nose. Oh, jesus.

Check out these things, guys. Limpets.

This is why you take your thongs with you everywhere, guys.

Jesus!

They were going to go. They were going to go.

It was that close.

Dave's found some early fish and chips.

What did you find Dave?

A piece of crab.

It's a swimmer crab carapace.

For the win!

FujiFilm Instax Review by Ave - Duration: 4:07.

My name is Averiella Barger and I have a Fuji Instax Mini 8 camera.

What I like about this camera is unique about it, is that whenever you take the picture

it pops right out and you have it instantly.

And I think it's cool because it shows us what other, our grandparents had back in the

decades, so.

Well, this camera comes with itself and you can buy other accessories with it but the

first accessory I would prefer you buy would be a case.

And this is the Fuji Instax Mini 8 case and it goes, it slips right in.

And it's leather and has like, so.

This camera also you could buy for it is lenses.

I would recommend the colorful ones cause you cannot just take a regular picture.

You can take it in color.

And so you can get red, blue, yellow, and green.

And unlike most cameras, it's hard to take a selfie.

So the Instax people made a selfie one.

And this lens has a mirror and it comes in a bunny rabbit and it comes in all different

colors.

And so, you pop this on and then it clicks in.

I have it on backwards but regularly it would go on this side.

And you can take a picture and you look into the mirror.

And the lens has it right here and then you have your selfie.

Some photos I have taken is with one of the colorful lenses and one of those lenses was

green.

And I took the picture of my front yard.

And it comes out really clear and only takes like a couple of seconds to develop and then

I also have some selfies I took with the bunny rabbit.

This one's in dark and so is this one.

I have my room lights on.

So these are two selfies of me.

I think it's really cute, it's really popular, and I really like how it prints it out and

it has really good perceptions.

And the pictures are clear.

And it's just really neat.

And I like being able, like, to push that button.

And it has really great flashes.

It has outdoor flashes, sunny flashes, and in the house flashes.

It also has hi-def.

I wanted the camera because first off, I've seen a lot of girls at my school have these

cameras and I thought, "hey that's really cool.

It prints the picture."

and they are like really popular, really cute, and if you guys didn't notice they come in

different colors.

And I thought that most cameras come in silver or black.

They don't have a lot of options.

I chose white because I just like white but they come in pink, blue, yellow.

And they come in like green, orange, so they really neat and I thought they have pretty

good lens protection and their flash is neat and it's easy and it's portable and you don't

have to change the lenses like on a regular camera.

It doesn't really come off.

You just pop one on and go.

I also really like the camera.

I can capture memories of my friends and family and anybody you want.

And not only can I give it to them automatically, I can keep one myself.

Thank you for watching this video and hope you enjoy it and soon have a Polaroid of your

own.

Please subscribe.

Thank you.

How the Practice of Women Jumping Out of Cakes Got Started - Duration: 8:40.

Hello I'm Daven Hiskey and you are watching the Today I Found Out Youtube channel.

In the video today, we're looking at how the practice of women jumping out of cakes got

started.

Almost everyone has seen depicted the bizarre bachelor party tradition of a scantily-clad

woman jumping out of a giant cake.

It turns up most often in decades-old films, TV shows, and comics, but it still persists

today at lavish Vegas shindigs—though the cakes are now usually made of flimsy cardboard.

Younger folks may have first encountered the ritual via The Sims: House Party, in which

the player could buy a huge cake, then choose a command to hire an entertainer.

If you're thinking it's a tradition that dates back to the swanky cocktail-fueled,

pre-feminist Mad Men era, you're only partly correct- humans have been putting odd things

in their food for entertainment purposes for centuries.

No one threw a dinner party like the Ancient Romans did, and they may have been the first

to seriously combine food and entertainment; that is, the food often was also the entertainment.

Wealthy banquet-throwers tried to outdo one another with exotic dishes, serving up peacocks,

ostriches, dormice, and rare songbirds.

Stuffing one animal inside another was a particular delight, so that a guest might carve into

the belly of a cow to find an entire roasted pig inside.

Inside the pig?

A lamb, a rabbit, a chicken, and a mouse.

(Today this practice is still alive in this rather curious dish that starts with a camel

and works on down.)

Beyond cooked animals stuffed inside other animals, Petronius wrote of dishes staged

to make the animals appear as if they were still alive: fish arranged as if they were

literally swimming in a sea of sauce, and a rabbit with a fowl's wings attached, posed

to look like the mythical Pegasus.

Medieval royals continued the hosting of banquets so elaborate as to be almost grotesque, and

they, too, had a penchant for staging tableaux that made cooked animals appear to be in action.

Peacocks, for example, were seasoned and roasted, then arranged and decked out in their original

plumage.

Grilled roosters were dressed in miniature armor constructed of paper, and perched atop

a suckling pig, complete with jousting sword, as if ready to do battle.

Alcohol was set alight to create a fire-breathing effect from the mouths of unlikely creatures,

such as swans or fish.

The stereotypical apple that is so often thrust in the mouth of a roasted pig hails from this

era—seemingly an attempt to suggest activity, as if the animal were still living and casually

munching a bit of fruit.

The use of actual live animals was a natural evolution from all the mimicry.

The tradition of the entremet—a between-courses dish served more for entertainment than for

eating—was in full swing by the end of the Middle Ages, with wine fountains, castles

made of meat, and live actors and musicians rolled in on replicas of ships, re-enacting

scenes from recent history.

Living creatures, (especially birds and frogs) placed into giant pies became such a popular

entremet that a recipe features in an Italian cookbook from 1474.

Maestro Martino explains how to make a hole in the bottom crust of a pie, stuff it with

a smaller pie, and then:

" ...In the empty space that remains around the small pie, put some live birds, as many

as it will hold; and the birds should be placed in it just before it is to be served; and

when it is served before those seated at the banquet, you remove the cover above, and the

little birds will fly away.

This is done to entertain and amuse your company.

And in order that they do not remain disappointed by this, cut the small pie up and serve."

The trend continued into the 1600s, with famous families like the de Medicis surprising guests

with live birds in pastry crust for a wedding party.

Robert May, author of a 1660 British cookbook, describes how the birds would tend to flap

about and seek the light, extinguishing all the candles, and how the hopping frogs cause

the ladies to shriek, creating "a diverting Hurley-Burley amongst the Guests in the Dark!"

The phenomenon ultimately may have inspired the nursery rhyme "Sing a Song of Sixpence,"

in which four-and-twenty blackbirds are presented in a dish to the king.

Today the practice lives on, in a way, in the form of "pie birds"—small, ceramic

birds placed in pies to allow steam to escape.

Even though the live-bird pie trend ultimately fizzled out, some royals hardly missed it,

as they had already taken it to the next level.

At a banquet hosted by famed French engineer Philippe Le Bon, among the many ostentatious

entremets was an enormous meat pie containing a reported twenty-eight musicians, who played

as the giant crust was opened.

In 1626, the Duke and Duchess of Buckingham presented Charles I with a pie from which

emerged a dwarf.

Sir Jeffrey Hudson was given as a gift while he was still quite alive, though internet

stories continue to perpetuate the rumor that he met his demise by being baked in a pie.

By the 1800s, the humans buried in pastry seemed to be limited to attractive women,

as some of the most decadent parties of the era were those given by wealthy men to entertain

other important males while their wives stayed at home.

One of those hosts was Stanford White, a rich architect who threw a debauched dinner party

in New York City in 1895 for a gathering of other distinguished men (including illustrator

Charles Dana Gibson and inventor Nikola Tesla).

The feature attraction of the dinner party was an enormous pie, out of which, according

to famed model Evelyn Nesbit, popped a 15 or 16 year old beauty, Susie Johnson, wearing

only a piece of see-through gauze.

Along with the girl, Nesbit reported that there were "a lot of birds" that when Johnson

jumped out "flew all about the room."

Nesbit also later stated that, "I told Mr. White I had heard [later] he had ruined the

girl that night, but he only laughed."

Just a few years later, "The Pie Girl Dinner," as it came to be known, was front-page news

after White was murdered by the enraged husband of Evelyn Nesbit, the latter of which came

to be known as "The Girl in the Red Velvet Swing."

White had reportedly raped the teenage Nesbit a few years before while she was unconscious

in his home after drinking champagne with him.

She then became White's mistress for about a year before breaking the relationship off

and later marrying the enormously wealthy Harry Thaw.

Thaw was supposedly none too pleased that Nesbit wasn't a virgin which he found out

while obsessively courting her.

When she told Thaw this, she also explained to him that she lost her virginity to White

when he raped her.

Ultimately this didn't stop Thaw's pursuit of Nesbit and after a lengthy courtship, she

gave in to Thaw's continual attempts to get her to marry him and the two wed.

However, Thaw now harbored extreme hatred towards White, culminating in Thaw murdering

him after yelling something to the effect of "You've ruined my wife!"

(There are conflicting accounts from witnesses as to whether he said "wife" or "life" before

shooting White.)

The whole country read the details of the "Pie Girl Dinner" as transcripts came out

of the first case of the 20th century the media referred to as "The Trial of the Century."

While this may not have been the first time a wealthy man had thought to have a girl jump

out of some large food item, it certainly popularized the practice.

After reading about it in the news, it didn't take long for regular folks to think that

their parties would be better with a woman inside some sort of baked good.

By the 1950s, it became downright mainstream for bachelor parties, office wingdings, and

conventions to feature an attractive woman in a giant cake—usually in a skimpy bathing

suit, or completely nude, depending on the audience and event.

The cakes were decidedly real, though you can find modern (otherwise reputable) sources

that mistakenly believe otherwise, perhaps thanks to today's cardboard recreations.

For instance, an AP newspaper article in 1975 interviewed a longtime San Francisco baker

who made his living charging $2,000 a pop to construct elaborate layered confections

with empty cylinders inside, just large enough to hide an exotic dancer.

(A cake jumper could make as much as $50 at the time, about $217 in today's dollars, the

article claims.)

The girls-in-cakes trend was so pervasive that it's no surprise it turned up so often

in popular media of the time.

In Some Like It Hot, the 1959 Marilyn Monroe vehicle, a huge cake is rolled into a party,

out of which emerges a thug with a machine gun, who begins mowing down the guests as

they sing "For He's a Jolly Good Fellow."

Noted crime writer Lawrence Block published "Stag Party Girl" in the aptly-named Guy

magazine in 1965, in which a stripper is shot almost as soon as she emerges from the icing.

A 1955 cartoon panel depicts two chefs in a kitchen, while one attempts to cook a young

lady in a huge pot.

"No, no, no, Alphonse!" says the other chef.

"She goes in after you bake the cake."

By the end of the 1970s, the popularity of women inside cakes faded as equal rights gained

steam- with more and more women in the workplace, scantily clad women in cakes were less welcome

at company functions and other such events, leaving only the occasional appearance at

bachelor parties as the last vestige of

this curious practice.

Book making with hot glue, Making books by hand, Book Binding, my happy project - Duration: 6:05.

Hi everyone!

This is Smitha from the blog Smiling Colors with my first video share for 2017.

Today's tutorial is a little different- you are going to watch me try make something

I have never done before.

Book making with hot glue.

No needles, no twine and no sewing.

Will it work?

We'll just have to wait and see!

I am using a really basic hot glue gun here- it's truly inexpensive and easily available

at any craft store.

For the inside pages of my book, I have chosen cardstock in a rainbow of colors.

I have 12 sheets of 8.5 by 11 inch cardstock here all of the Recollections brand by Michaels

art and craft store.

They very often have these these on sale for like $2.

For the cover of the book I have two options- I will either use this gold cardstock or this

leather looking one.

Let's see.

Besides this I have gathered a few more supplies and I will leave a list of everything I use

in my blog post at www.smilingcolors.com

I am going to start by trimming each sheet of cardstock in half, that is I am cutting

at the 5.5 inch mark.

Now let me talk a little bit about the purpose of this book I am making- This is going to

my happy book- a place for me to write down a sentence each night before I go to bed - something

that made me happy that day.

So I have deliberately chosen 12 colors of cardstock- one color for each month.

I starting off with grey for January- because it is really grey and cold here in Minnesota.

Now after I cut each cardstock, I am using a bone folder to fold it in half.

This way my book will measure approximately 4.25 by 5.5 inches in size.

Here is how the inside pages of the book look now.

All these rainbow colors make me happy!

I really hope this hot glue method works, because I love the pages so much now.

I am using a few clips to hold my pages together, making sure all the edges line up neatly.

- I have my hot glue nice and hot and now its the mo ment of truth.

Time to apply that hot glue.

Basically my idea is to have the hot glue all along the spine and have it hold all of

the pages together.

So I am moving really slowly here along with the hot glue gun and going up and down along

the spine trying not to squirt any big globs of glue.

I want the spine to look neat and so I am trying my best to keep the hot glue application

as even as I can.

While the glue takes a minute to dry, I am going to prep my book cover.

I went with the gold cardstock and it has a cool kraft on the other side.

I trimmed it to be a tiny tiny bit larger than the 5.5 inches and am keeping its entire

length for now.

Now lets go see if that hot glue worked!

Did it??

Let's remove those clips and … Oh my god this is so neat!!

It's a real book you all!

And it looks pretty great!

I can already see that the first and last pages need a little extra love, but that spine

is looking good.

Now let's work on the cover.

I am placing my book inside, lining up all the edges carefully and making a small mark

where I want to trim and then I am going to go ahead and cut right at that mark using

my trimmer.

And now let's make sure everything fits nicely.

Looking good.

So now I want to crease my spine.

To do that I am clipping the cover to the book on one side and then using the bone folder

to score along the spine.

This forms a nice mark on the cover showing the books spine area.

So now I am applying hot glue just in that spine area in a zig zag manner first and then

adding straight lines along the edges.

I am carefully placing the book onto the glue and pressing it in firmly. and then rubbing

the spine along my work surface pressing the book into it.

This is looking good but I want to make sure that the first few pages sit in there well.

So as a final step, I am running a bead of hot glue just where the inside pages meet

the cover and then pressing the top page into it.

I am repeating that with last page again.

A single line of hot glue right where the inside pages meet the cover and then press

down firmly.

And that's it!

The book is done!

It looks really neat, and if you look closely here you can see the hot glue gap inside.

Otherwise the book looks really neat all around and I am slightly impressed with this technique.

If you want you can use a sander, this is just sandpaper on a block to even out any

uneven pages.

But really this hot glue book binding is super quick and pretty simple.

And I didn't even burn my fingers with the glue today!

Now a I mentioned before, this is going to be my book in which I write down a happy thought

every night.

So I wanted to add a few little stickers onto the cover.

These stickers are some of my favorites that I have hoarded for years and loved and I think

its finally time to use them!

I am adding just a tiny sticker that says- my happy project.

And that is how this book makes me feel right now.

Happy.

It's a nice book that will make me focus on the things in my everyday life that make

me happy.

Now the big question with this book is- will the hot glue spine last long?

Will it hold up to daily wear and tear?

I really don't know what to expect but right now this projects seems to be the perfect

book for a beginner to make and learn.

Its quick and very satisfying.

If the spine does break and a page falls off after a few months of use I wouldn't be surprised.

But that is an easy fix and I could probably just add another bead of hot glue and put

it back together.

So I hope you enjoyed todays tutorial friends!

1.6 Adding a YouTube Video - Duration: 3:07.

To embed a YouTube video into your

course content

firstly ensure the edit mode is switched

on. Select build content and in the

mash-up section you'll see a YouTube

video option. You will then see a simple

search box and a language option. In this

instance I'll search for The Hong Kong

Polytechnic University and select GO.

Once the search results come back you

can scroll through the videos. By

selecting you can see the details and the

URL. To preview the video, in the top

right hand corner you can see 'Preview,'

this allows you to watch the video so that

you can check that it has the content

that you wish inside it.

Select Watch Video and select Play.

Select the cross to close and select back.

You can now change the title of the

video by highlighting the title text, and

also change the color of the title. Give

the video a clear description so students

know why they should watch it. Now

scroll down to the mashup options - you'll

see that you have the option to include

the video as a thumbnail or to embed the

video - we recommend that you embed the

video as this appears larger, more clear, and

the students can watch the video within

the course content rather than taking

them straight to the YouTube Channel. We

want to provide the YouTube URL to the students

who want to go to YouTube to watch it and

include the YouTube information. You can

also attach a file, as mentioned earlier,

you may wish to attach an activity while

they watch the video, and then the

standard options that we are used to -

track number of views and select date and

time restrictions. When you're happy

select Submit, or you can preview the

video again.

Now you'll see that video has been

embedded into the course content,

students can click and go straight to

the YouTube video channel or they can

watch the video in the course.

How to organize your samples in FL Studio. TOP workflow tip - Duration: 4:51.

Do you find yourself constantly browsing

through samples without finding what

you're looking for?

This is something most producers can

relate to. You just can't seem to find

that one sample you know would work.

Today I'm going to show you a simple

workflow trick that will save you a lot

of time, so keep on watching, and I'll

show you how to do it right after this:

This is a firewalk production. Over the years

producers tend to buy one sample pack

after the other,

each containing hundreds, if not

thousands of samples. Eventually it

becomes impossible to keep track of

everything.

How many hours have you spent looking

for that one snare, clap, or whatever it

is, that you know would work, because

you've used it before, but you just can't

seem to find it?

The solution to this problem is quite

simple: organization! One of the reasons

established producers tend to work so

fast is because they work smart. They

have organized all their samples, presests

etc in such a way that they can quickly

find exactly what they're looking for.

You may also have noticed that many

producers tend to use some of the same

samples in many of their tracks. The

Neptune project for example: they use the

same kick drum in just about all their

tracks. They call it the Neptune kick.

It's part of their unique sound. And then

there's Kygo who also reuse a lot of the

same samples in his tracks. What all

these artists have in common, is that

they have found sounds that they know

will work well in a track, and therefore

they tend to stick with them. Before we

continue,

let's make it perfectly clear: I'm not

saying that you should use the same

exact samples in all of your tracks. If

you do that, then all of your tracks will

sound very similar and people eventually

grow tired of your music.

It's ok to reuse a few sounds though, as

part of your own unique sound. But try

not to use the same exact combination of

sounds every time. This is what you

should be doing: When you find a sample

you really like, you should save it in a

favorites folder. Eventually you'll have

a huge collection of really good samples

that you know will work. If you're

looking for a real good clap for example,

you can just go to your favorites folder

and instantly

have all your favorite samples at

your disposal. I encourage you to try and

be creative and use new samples most of

the time of course.

However, if you find yourself in a

situation where you're just browsing

through samples without finding anything,

you can always go to your favorites

folder and choose something that you

know will work.

This saves a lot of time. You'll always

have some really good "goto" samples at

your disposal.

That way you won't be stuck in cases

where you can't seem to find anything to

use. So let's get started.

There are many ways to do this, but I'll

show you how I usually do it. The first

thing you have to do is make a favorites

folder. So let's go ahead and create a

new folder. Let's call it "my favorites".

It's a good idea to keep this folder

organized with dedicated subcategories.

So I'll go ahead and create a few

folders.

Make sure you keep your favorites folder

open in

the background. Next, open up the FL

Studio browser, and start browsing. When

you find a sample you really like, right

click on it, select windows shell menu,

and then copy. Then go to the my favorites

folder we just created. Since this is a

kick, we'll want to have it in the kicks

folder. Then just right-click and select

paste. The sample will then be copied

into that folder. You can do this for all

your favorite samples. Kicks, claps, hats,

and so on. If you keep doing this,

eventually you'll have a huge collection

of really good samples readily available.

The last step is to make the favorites

folder easily accessible from the FL

Studio browser. To do that, go to options,

file, and then click here to select your

favorite folder. Now when you open the

browser, your favorite folder will show

up in it. Now you can easily browse

through all of your saved favorites. If

it does not show up right away, you may

have to manually refresh it by clicking

here.

Just remember: whenever you stumble upon

a really good sample from now on, always

copy it to your favorites folder.

That's it. I'm uploading new tutorials

and templates every week, so make sure to

subscribe to this channel so that you

won't miss out. I hope this was helpful.

even need another balance patch before

the next expansion which is actually

crazy that you need to bounce patches

for one class but I think at this rate

like the game is kind of feels very

unhealthy that's for the next two months

Chucky calling chucky the killer doll

the serial killer doll Chucky so far

he's done a video on calling Annabelle

calling Tiffany the doll calling

Freddie's fazbear it's only right we

continue the series by calling Chucky

the man himself the murderer the serial

killer

it's only right it only makes sense that

being said before we proceed onto this

video leave a like right leave a like

let's get 20 lights come on when he

likes we've been crushing all these

goals you can you get 20 hit that like

so you never miss a thing

alright with that being said let's close

these lights and get into the video so

before we call chucky the killer doll i

just want to make clear I am probably

risking my life for this right now right

I've called you know i made a video on

calling Annabelle calling Tiffany the

doll if you don't know tiffany is

Chucky's girlfriend right calling

Freddie's fazbear and I thought it was

only proper if I called Chucky now again

not sure what's going to be on the other

end of that call gave serial killer has

killed tons of people me some losers

sitting in front of a camera

I mean yeah I'm screwed

I'm screwed with that being said I just

want to toss out there that I do need to

use the bathroom so if anything crazy

happens i'm just going to niagara falls

pee my pants and look like a complete

loser on video but it'll be worth it

will be worth it because we called

Chucky

that out them just putting that out

there it's out there it's everyone knows

now

subscribe terrible plug terrible blood

alright so we're going to start by

calling him

I've call them again like couple of

times he hasn't answered so far either

i'm gonna call him he's going to answer

or he's gonna call me and I'm going to

answer so let's check that students

ok

hello you guys hear that this chucky my

name is John hello hello

I peed my pants

I peed my pants look I didn't pee my

pants

I was caught a little off guard I'm not

gonna lie

visit him is it whoa whoa what the heck

you're legit not gonna lie my phone like

literally just passed out what I'm not

joking my phone literally start to spaz

the heck out dude I think it's good now

okay I'm gonna go my call history like

one second I was calling him and I start

receiving a call

it's not there the numbers not even in

my history that's cool

okay I'm not gonna lie ever since I

started doing these phone call things

something's felt little bit weird like I

just felt like there's like I think I've

been I think I'm being paranoid like

doing all these calls and having these

stuff kind of happen its kind of made me

a little bit paranoid but I think I'm

just freaking out i think it's just like

I think something's bad going to happen

and that's how I perceive things

let's turn on these lights and bam bam

bam no pins so i hope you guys enjoyed

watching and if you guys did leave a

like let's get 20 likes come on

he likes that's easy easy peasy lemon

squeezy ok

also don't forget to comment if you want

me to call someone else

comment down below who you want me to

call if you have any suggestions for

other videos let me know I'm by the way

I'm going to be making a 500 special 500

subscribers best role where I'm going to

be doing kind like a two-part video

thing I'm doing two different challenges

and I might also do a q-and-a before

then right so comment down below what

video please leave a like and also hit
