Youtube daily report Jan 9 2017

- Hi guys! Today is our first video in

English. You asked a lot about that and

how is our already English here so today it's our

first trying. So I hope you can understand

everything that we are saying here and

it's going to have captions in Portuguese

so just activate that on YouTube.

- And we chose this video to speak in English because

today we're going to talk about the

studies here I'm going to share a little

bit about my experiences here so let's

begin!

- So before we start talking about that so

please leave your like on the video so

if you're not subscribed please

subscribe to our Channel. - First of all

this video is about my experience as

a student. - The first topic we are going to

talk about here is studying in the morning

and in the evening. - I have never studied in

the morning here in Canada, in Vancouver yet

but I had a little bit of talking with

other students, other classmates that

have studied in the morning or thta

current study in the morning. There is

a huge difference in Greystone because

in the morning the courses are more

strict they have less time to study

because they just study for six months the

course that I'm doing. The classes

are short because they only have one

month per course and the teachers are

strict about everything in class and the

courses are mainly about business.

The teachers are not interested in helping

students about English, about improving

English, they are just interested in

teaching business and the discipline.

And in the evening course you will have

like classes about business but teachers

are more interested about helping

students with their English and they

also correct people a lot they help us

with grammar, with writing, with the

speaking. Some mistakes with spelling and

that's really important. That I think

it's the most huge difference between

the morning and evening courses. - So in my

opinion if you're coming with some

knowledge of business and you want to

improve your English it's better go evening and

if you're coming to have a better

English and you don't have knowledge of

business so it's better go in the

morning.

- Yeah and take the morning classes. - So tell me a

little bit about the structure there.

How's the classes? What do you think? - Ok. My campus is

located in downtown Vancouver so it's

really close...

Ahhhh!!! Sorry! If you speak slow you can understand

very well. - If you speak slowly

I understand very well. - Very good! (Laughing)

- So it's really close to a skytrain station and is

really easy to get there and the classes

and infrastructure in general is really

ok. It's like a private college in Brazil

like a private university. - Smal college. - Yeah! Small

college. I think that the only difference

is that there is a community place inside

the college. - Yes so you can have lunch.

- Yeah you can have lunch and they share

cutlery and these kind of things so I think

the only difference is that because on the

colleges that I know in Brazil they don't

have like this community place inside

the campus.

- No they just have some Fast Food and

things like that. - Yeah things like that. And the classrooms

are really comfortable there are like

air-conditioned everywhere so you don't

get like really cold or warm so it's

really balanced temperature there it's

really comfortable like tables and

chairs this kind of thing.

- So let's talk a little bit about

the courses. What are you learning there? What

do you think about the courses there? The

teachers? - Ok. I already had three courses

there. In fact I am in the third course now

before talking about the courses I have

to say that the program that I am taking

at Greystone is called "Diploma in

Business Communication Coop". The first

course that I took in that program was

called... I don't remember!

(Woman speaking in Portuguese)

The first course that I took in that program was about document

design so it was basically about how to

design a document like a newsletter or

or a resume, cover letter and this kind

of thing like everything in business and

office related. It was basically about

creativity. You know? Like.. Yeah!

Using your creativity. I am good at that

because I'm a blogger. Just kidding! - So blogger! (Laughing)

- The teacher was really helpful, he was a

Canadian guy. He taught us a lot

about creativity and how to use a good

design in a business document. The second course was

mainly about teamwork and innovation. How to

work in an innovative team. We had a lot of

presentations the teacher was really strict

about that so we had like two

presentations a week. We had to talk

about innovators like famous innovators

and famous inventors so it was really

helpful about that and we learned a lot

about new vocabulary and of course

grammar and writing it was really

helpful.

- That's good and you practiced a lot for the

presentation too. - Yeah! The presentations

too because for a good presentation you

have to practice first so it's really

helpful because you improve your

communication skills and that's good.

Yeah!

- So and what about the teacher? - The teacher

was really strict as I said and she was

also half Canadian and half Italian so she had

a little bit of accent but her English

was perfect and we learned a lot of with

her.

She was really helpful.

In the third course that I'm taking now it's

mainly about writing basic documents

in English and it's focused on writing.

We learn like emails. How to write a

properly email. How to use gramma. How

to use appropriate tone and style. To be

clear when writing and you have a clear

purpose in the document so yeah

this kind of thing.- Ok right. - Everything related to

a good writing. - So let's talk a little bit

about the permits. When you're

studying at Greytone. So when you're

studying there a lot of people have some

questions, so if the spouse can work

when the other one is studying. How it

works there?

- Yeah. I have a lot of classmates that

they are like us here because I am

a student here and have a student visa

and you as my spouse you have the

Open Work Permit. So a lot of people there

are in the same situation. They are

studying and the spouse is working here,

has the Open Work Permit of course a lot

of students there also came here alone

so they have both they have the Student

Permit and the Work Permit but they only

can work part-time here like me. I

work just 20 hours a week so it's the

maximum. I can work up to 20 hours.

Of course a lot of applications in Brazil

are denied when people apply for Greystone

but we have a lot of approvations too. - Yeah

so if you want you can try.

So let's talk a little bit about PGWP, that

is the working, so after we finish the

course sometimes you can work so you can

receive the same amount of time that you

studied to work. - Like if you studied one

year here you can apply for the PGWP

and if it is accepted you

get like one year of Work Permit here, Open Work Permit.

- So how does it work for

Greystone? - By the rules you can not apply

for the PGWP but of course there are a

lot of applications even if it's not

possible by the rules but a lot of

people are accepted a lot of

applications are approved but it's risky.

- Yeah sure, because you can just apply

once to PGWP. - Once in a lifetime

- Yeah if you finish another course you

can not apply again to PGWP.

- Yeah so it's really risky and you have

the chance to be denied of course if it's

denied you can apply again. - You can try again.

- Yeah but it's risky if it's your only

opportunity like "Oh! I can not afford

another course here in Canada" apply.

Try to apply. - So let's conclude.

Was it a good choice for us? What do you think?

- I think that it was a good choice

like if you think about the price and

you think about the time that we are going to

spend here. - And English. - Yeah

the English of course. It's a good option

because it's really affordable

I think it's the most affordable one. - Affordable one. - Here in

Vancouver and also you improve your

English and you get some work experience

here and like both of us because

when you work you learn a lot. I improved my

English a lot just working and studying of

course by communicating with people you

get like way better than it was. - So if

you are looking for a course and want to get

more information about Greystone

we're going to leave a link here to

Nexus Intercambio so they can help you

give more information, the price

how much is now. - Ok so that's it! I hope you

guys have enjoyed our first English video. - Yeah! We were a little

nervous. Sorry about that! - Forgive our mistakes we

are still learning.

- Yeah six years. - Yeah but it was really

cool because as we said in the last

video one of our main targets this year

is to improve our English and

communicate a lot like at home and we are

doing that and we are practicing now

like recording this video and it's really

cool for us.

- So that's it people, see you! Bye! - See ya! Bye!

Freedom?

It's not so much as being free and being able to do anything you'd like,

but to be boundless in your mind without self-limiting yourself.

Openness?

To be able to accept the world as a whole

without discriminating as "me", "you" and "he/she".

Social media?

A Balloon.

A Balloon may be a good thing. Not necessarily a bad thing.

You can get on a Balloon and fly, or kids can play with Balloons

but in the end it's a Balloon.

It may be one of the worst years in the Earth's history.

But I think it has nothing to do with numbers.

I don't think 2017 will be any better.

The concepts that inspire you the most?

For example, listening to music genres that I'd never play or compose.

That broadens my horizons. But other than that my whole thing is

topping anything that I've done before

and of course technology is a huge source of inspiration, really.

In all history of music, technology has steered the course of music.

And it gives me direction too.

What are the things that motivate you to keep on making music?

You make something in your small room, then share it in an instant

with thousands of people on stage or though albums.

That moment I share my music motivates me indeed.

Different sounds make me...

Different sounds make me expand my perspective.

Music sets you free, because...

Because music is limitless. Everything you like can be music.

It's such an internal thing, thus it sets you free.

When you want a change...

When I want a change I stop and stare at the ceiling.

Because life moves on so fast. It changes so fast.

In a world that rapidly changes and gets weirder,

stopping and staring at the ceiling can change one's perspective.

So I advise everyone to just stop every once in a while

Once I researched the doctor and the hospital I was sold - Duration: 2:19.

- [Delilah] A lot of people, they don't know what to do.

I mean, when they told me I needed oncology, it was like, "Now what?"

Because they not only told me I needed oncology, I was going to doctors that

were close to my job, an hour away from my home.

So they were like, "Well, you just had major surgery,"

because I had my mastectomy done, "and now you need chemotherapy, so you should

probably do that close to home." So it's like, "You don't know any

of the doctors. I can't even get a recommendation from you."

And luckily, or unluckily, I should say, a friend of mine, her mother

literally had just gone through chemotherapy because she had gone

through breast cancer as well. So she recommended her oncologist.

My neighbor worked for a car service, and she said that she worked closely with

an oncologist so she was going to give me the recommendation.

What I didn't know at the time was that they were both

going to recommend the same doctor.

- [Man] That's a good sign.

- And once I researched not only the doctor but the hospital,

I was sold because of his background. I was sold when I walked into his office

and I saw pictures of babies on the wall, and it's an oncology office,

a breast oncology office. And it looked like a gynecologist's office,

like an obstetrician's office. I walk in and I sat down with him.

And I walk in and I sat down with him. He wasn't trying to boast about himself,

but he's like, "I just want you to understand where I come from and how I

approach all of this." So he is a breast oncologist first, but he's also a

hematologist. What he learned...what he developed, was creating pregnancy out of

the hemorrhaging from miscarriages. All of those babies on the wall are babies that

he helped create, that he helped become real live humans.

So he said to me, he said, "I wish that you were coming in to me for a baby,

that you weren't coming to me for breast cancer, because..." He was very honest,

and he's like, "This is not a good situation. We're going to do what we can

to fix it and see if it works." And when I went for my first chemo treatment, the

nurse that I met is not only a nurse at the cancer center, she's one of

his patients. She's got pictures of her two daughters on her tray where she

carries all of her supplies. She said, "I have the two of them because of him."

I consider my doctor as a part of my family - Duration: 0:36.

So I've heard that before. "You're a special case." Every single doctor says

that, and every doctor is doing the best they can. I mean, literally,

at this point, my breast oncologist, I trust him

so much that I have a primary care physician

but I go to him for everything. I am there more often than I see any other

doctor I would ever see. So he knows me better than anyone else.

He is a part of my family at this point. And if I have anything that I need to do,

his office is who I ask for a recommendation because I know that he will

send me to someone that he would go to personally

or he would send his wife or children to.

【JapaneseASMR】2017! 3Diomic #Nailtapping #Ear to Ear #Earmassage - Duration: 29:04.

How are you?

This is YukinoYUMIJUKU.

Happy New Year!

2017 has begun.

How did you greet the New Year?

I relaxed in my hometown.

I took a bath before new year began and was refreshed

and I entered the futon as soon as I finished countdown.

It was not regular,

but spent it leisurely.

Let one's hair down.

How about everybody?

Did you have a party in New Year?

I look forward to that I can meet everybody with a JapaneseASMR channel this year.

It is my pace,

but is glad when you can see it because I put up a video.

This is the year of the Rooster.

Is there the person of the year of the Rooster watching a video?

It is Toshiotoko and Toshionnna in Japan.

Um,

It is special age.

I pray for the happiness of everybody.

So, today

crinkle.

Rice cake.

A lot of these rice cakes sell.

It is sold at both the super and the drugstore.

Chicken part becomes chick.

There are various kinds.

Did you eat the rice cake?

I did.

Kirimochi(sliced rice‐cake)

Even if there are a lot of rice cakes, it is eaten.

Is it just me or…?

I wrap up the toasted mochi with nori and eat it with some soy sauce.

It is very delicious by simple how to eat.

Did you have a Hatsuyume in the New Year?

(Hatsuyume is the first dream you see in the new year.)

I might have told you this before one years.

A dream to watch on the night of December 31 is not the Hatsuyume of the year.

A dream to watch on the night of January 1 is the Hatsuyume of the year.

The dream that I watched on 31st was shocking.

oh,what a dream!?

But I felt relieved to remember about that.

I have forgotten the dream that I watched per day immediately…

can't open??

open!

I realized again,

this microphone has a mysterious shape, isn't it?

Have you made a New Year's resolution?

Health must be your first consideration in whatever you do.

Let's both do our best.

Did you do Kakizome?

I don't do Japanese calligraphy for a while.

I like senses to make a sumi.

It became the video

of the ear to ear,

crinkle

and ear massage

this time.

Let's meet you by a next video.

Thanks.

016. OLD IDEAS #1 | Instrumental in G#m - Duration: 3:16.

Hi, I'm Felipe.

And I'll start to make music using very old recordings I have in my PC.

I have a lot of unfinished recordings.

Most of them are chord progressions and loops.

I think I should start to develop this music to somewhere.

So this is the first one. A recording from 2010

that is a chord progression played on guitar

very simple and easy, because I was freshly learning to play in that time.

The original recording will be at the end of the video.

So... let's see how I developed this, 6 years and a little more later.

As you can see, I made a loop.

Of course, I made a loop and improvised on it.

I played a bit with rhythm, made some arrangements.

If you want to listen the full audio, what it's not very different from what you've listened. I'm going to leave it here.

as well as the original recording.

Visit the channel "Bloc de Notas" and this playlist with more works of this kind.

DAKAR 360° - Bivouac - Duration: 2:39.

I've got one special visit for you.

We've spoken several times about our Dakar's bivouac. Today, for the first time ever we are going to officially show you the bivouac.

Let's take a look.

We're at the arrival and here you can see the communicative centre

where riders identify themselves when they arrive.

They arrive here, hand in a roadbook

and everybody checks everything, how they arrived and if everything works.

It's also the place where they get their schedules for the next day.

This actually is a computer welcome.

Everyone has his fixed place here in bivouac.

For an easier identification there are flags, which are located above service cars.

Each team has its place, each place is reserved and restricted.

Of course that the bigger teams, like factory teams, have much more space.

Here you can see one factory team with all of his berths for its factory machines.

If you look aside you can see a satellites that help us to be in connection with the world.

Here are the biggest punkers of Dakar.

It's a small bike category.

That means: one rider, who came here with his bike and with only one box

which is delivered to him by an organizer. In that box he has spare parts and his personal stuff.

The rider is here all by himself.

He doesn't have a mechanic, he alone goes through Dakar.

I have to confess now.

The way to a man's heart is through his stomach and this is one of my favourite places.

This is a canteen.

Here we sit by the table and over there the food is served.

If I stop here, by the boards, you can see that they're an information borads

where you can see the results, changes in roadbooks and much more infromation, which everyone,

who takes part in Dakar, must see.

If you want to solve something at home, you should visit local/municipal/regional council

or even better - municipality.

Dakar has its own municipality.

It's right behind me.

I guess I don't have to introduce you this place.

Even kings go there.

These are our Dakar's toilets.

Here is Dakar's version of Czech television centre Kavčí hory.

Here is a television centre.

All of the shots, which were taken in a helicopter or car, gather here.

Everything is cut here and thanks to the satellites it goes right to your television.

You've seen whole Dakar's bivouac and now let's take a look at ours.

Hi, hello, hi!

We're at home here.

We live here.

Well, it's full of freaks.

Studying in Canada | Greystone College - Duration: 10:02.

- Hi guys! Today is our first video in

English. You asked a lot about that and

how is our already English here so today it's our

first trying. So I hope you can understand

everything that we are saying here and

it's going to have captions in Portuguese

so just activate that on YouTube.

- And we chose this video to speak in English because

today we're going to talk about the

studies here I'm going to share a little

bit about my experiences here so let's

begin!

- So before we start talking about that so

please leave your like on the video so

if you're not subscribed please

subscribe to our Channel. - First of all

this video is about my experience as

a student. - The first topic we are going to

talk about here is studying in the morning

and in the evening. - I have never studied in

the morning here in Canada, in Vancouver yet

but I had a little bit of talking with

other students, other classmates that

have studied in the morning or thta

current study in the morning. There is

a huge difference in Greystone because

in the morning the courses are more

strict they have less time to study

because they just study for six months the

course that I'm doing. The classes

are short because they only have one

month per course and the teachers are

strict about everything in class and the

courses are mainly about business.

The teachers are not interested in helping

students about English, about improving

English, they are just interested in

teaching business and the discipline.

And in the evening course you will have

like classes about business but teachers

are more interested about helping

students with their English and they

also correct people a lot they help us

with grammar, with writing, with the

speaking. Some mistakes with spelling and

that's really important. That I think

it's the most huge difference between

the morning and evening courses. - So in my

opinion if you're coming with some

knowledge of business and you want to

improve your English it's better go evening and

if you're coming to have a better

English and you don't have knowledge of

business so it's better go in the

morning.

- Yeah and take the morning classes. - So tell me a

little bit about the structure there.

How's the classes? What do you think? - Ok. My campus is

located in downtown Vancouver so it's

really close...

Ahhhh!!! Sorry! If you speak slow you can understand

very well. - If you speak slowly

I understand very well. - Very good! (Laughing)

- So it's really close to a skytrain station and is

really easy to get there and the classes

and infrastructure in general is really

ok. It's like a private college in Brazil

like a private university. - Smal college. - Yeah! Small

college. I think that the only difference

is that there is a community place inside

the college. - Yes so you can have lunch.

- Yeah you can have lunch and they share

cutlery and these kind of things so I think

the only difference is that because on the

colleges that I know in Brazil they don't

have like this community place inside

the campus.

- No they just have some Fast Food and

things like that. - Yeah things like that. And the classrooms

are really comfortable there are like

air-conditioned everywhere so you don't

get like really cold or warm so it's

really balanced temperature there it's

really comfortable like tables and

chairs this kind of thing.

- So let's talk a little bit about

the courses. What are you learning there? What

do you think about the courses there? The

teachers? - Ok. I already had three courses

there. In fact I am in the third course now

before talking about the courses I have

to say that the program that I am taking

at Greystone is called "Diploma in

Business Communication Coop". The first

course that I took in that program was

called... I don't remember!

(Woman speaking in Portuguese)

The first course that I took in that program was about document

design so it was basically about how to

design a document like a newsletter or

or a resume, cover letter and this kind

of thing like everything in business and

office related. It was basically about

creativity. You know? Like.. Yeah!

Using your creativity. I am good at that

because I'm a blogger. Just kidding! - So blogger! (Laughing)

- The teacher was really helpful, he was a

Canadian guy. He taught us a lot

about creativity and how to use a good

design in a business document. The second course was

mainly about teamwork and innovation. How to

work in an innovative team. We had a lot of

presentations the teacher was really strict

about that so we had like two

presentations a week. We had to talk

about innovators like famous innovators

and famous inventors so it was really

helpful about that and we learned a lot

about new vocabulary and of course

grammar and writing it was really

helpful.

- That's good and you practiced a lot for the

presentation too. - Yeah! The presentations

too because for a good presentation you

have to practice first so it's really

helpful because you improve your

communication skills and that's good.

Yeah!

- So and what about the teacher? - The teacher

was really strict as I said and she was

also half Canadian and half Italian so she had

a little bit of accent but her English

was perfect and we learned a lot of with

her.

She was really helpful.

In the third course that I'm taking now it's

mainly about writing basic documents

in English and it's focused on writing.

We learn like emails. How to write a

properly email. How to use gramma. How

to use appropriate tone and style. To be

clear when writing and you have a clear

purpose in the document so yeah

this kind of thing.- Ok right. - Everything related to

a good writing. - So let's talk a little bit

about the permits. When you're

studying at Greytone. So when you're

studying there a lot of people have some

questions, so if the spouse can work

when the other one is studying. How it

works there?

- Yeah. I have a lot of classmates that

they are like us here because I am

a student here and have a student visa

and you as my spouse you have the

Open Work Permit. So a lot of people there

are in the same situation. They are

studying and the spouse is working here,

has the Open Work Permit of course a lot

of students there also came here alone

so they have both they have the Student

Permit and the Work Permit but they only

can work part-time here like me. I

work just 20 hours a week so it's the

maximum. I can work up to 20 hours.

Of course a lot of applications in Brazil

are denied when people apply for Greystone

but we have a lot of approvations too. - Yeah

so if you want you can try.

So let's talk a little bit about PGWP, that

is the working, so after we finish the

course sometimes you can work so you can

receive the same amount of time that you

studied to work. - Like if you studied one

year here you can apply for the PGWP

and if it is accepted you

get like one year of Work Permit here, Open Work Permit.

- So how does it work for

Greystone? - By the rules you can not apply

for the PGWP but of course there are a

lot of applications even if it's not

possible by the rules but a lot of

people are accepted a lot of

applications are approved but it's risky.

- Yeah sure, because you can just apply

once to PGWP. - Once in a lifetime

- Yeah if you finish another course you

can not apply again to PGWP.

- Yeah so it's really risky and you have

the chance to be denied of course if it's

denied you can apply again. - You can try again.

- Yeah but it's risky if it's your only

opportunity like "Oh! I can not afford

another course here in Canada" apply.

Try to apply. - So let's conclude.

Was it a good choice for us? What do you think?

- I think that it was a good choice

like if you think about the price and

you think about the time that we are going to

spend here. - And English. - Yeah

the English of course. It's a good option

because it's really affordable

I think it's the most affordable one. - Affordable one. - Here in

Vancouver and also you improve your

English and you get some work experience

here and like both of us because

when you work you learn a lot. I improved my

English a lot just working and studying of

course by communicating with people you

get like way better than it was. - So if

you are looking for a course and want to get

more information about Greystone

we're going to leave a link here to

Nexus Intercambio so they can help you

give more information, the price

how much is now. - Ok so that's it! I hope you

guys have enjoyed our first English video. - Yeah! We were a little

nervous. Sorry about that! - Forgive our mistakes we

are still learning.

- Yeah six years. - Yeah but it was really

cool because as we said in the last

video one of our main targets this year

is to improve our English and

communicate a lot like at home and we are

doing that and we are practicing now

like recording this video and it's really

cool for us.

- So that's it people, see you! Bye! - See ya! Bye!

You choose your drone, in my case it's the Mavic,

and down here we have the download section.

It he software area we've the DJI Assistant for Windows and Mac.

Just download and install the app.

Now we open the app, but I'm afraid that when I open it fly here inside.

Will it work? Damn it turn on. Turn off.

I know what to do. Let's put the USB, turn the RC on, open the app and know it works.

I anticipate change the view, the camera its locked while the drone flies.

I don't know if it has a FPV option, in the cell app I know I can change the camera angles, but here I can't.

Let me land it. The nice thing is that it's all real time.
