Trump Trolls Women's March On Twitter - Duration: 3:20.
NOW, DONALD TRUMP OF COURSE AWOKE TO THE NUMBERS, SHOWING
THAT THESE MARCHES WERE FAR LARGER THAN HIS TINY, SHRIVELED
INAUGURATION AUDIENCE, AND SO HE DID WHAT HE NORMALLY DOES: HE
IMMEDIATELY BEGAN TWEETING.
WE'VE GOT A TALE OF TWO TWEETS HERE, BASICALLY.
1ST
WE HAVE AUTHENTIC DONALD TRUMP: "WATCHED PROTESTS YESTERDAY
BUT WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT WE JUST HAD AN ELECTION.
WHY DIDN'T THESE PEOPLE VOTE?
CELEBS HURT CAUSE BADLY."
FIRST OF ALL, YOU LOST BY OVER 3 MILLION VOTES, AND HE IS REALLY
UPSET ABOUT THOSE CELEBS.
DONALD TRUMP HAS PICTURES OF CELEBRITY ALL OVER HIS
OFFICE, BECAUSE HE ACTUALLY LOVE CELEBRITIES.
HE'S LIKE A KID IN SCHOOL WHO WANTS TO BE WITH THE COOL
KIDS, BUT ñ BUT DOESN'T QUITE KNOW HOW.
SO WHENEVER THEY INVITE HIM OVER THE PARTIES HE'S LIKE, YES!
CELEBRITIES!
BUT WHEN THEY DON'T INVITE HIM OVER HE'S LIKE, THEY SUCK,
CELEBS HURT ME, I KNOW THEY HURT MY FEELINGS.
HE'S LIKE THE RICH KID WHO INVITES PEOPLE OVER FOR A GREAT
POOL PARTY, AND SO THEY'LL GO BECAUSE IT'S A POOL, BUT THEN
THEY'LL INVITE HIM TO THEIR PARTIES; SORRY RICH KID.
AND THEN AFTER THAT TWEET WE HAVE THIS ONE: "PEACEFUL
PROTESTS ARE A HALLMARK OF OUR DEMOCRACY.
EVEN IF I DON'T ALWAYS AGREE, I RECOGNIZE THE RIGHTS OF
PEOPLE TO EXPRESS THEIR VIEWS."
AND THAT IS THE TWEET THAT I THINK IN THIS CASE BARACK OBAMA
WOULD HAVE SENT, A VERY REASONABLE, LEVELHEADED
TWEETS, WHICH IS WHY YOU THINK HE HAD ANY PART OF CRAFTING
IT OR SENDING IT.
SO, WE'VE DONE A STORY ON THIS BEFORE, THERE'S TWO DIFFERENT
PHONES THAT SEND TWEETS FOR DONALD TRUMP'S ACCOUNT.
ONE IS AN IPHONE, AND THE OTHER IS AN ANDROID.
I FORGET WHICH ONE IS WHICH, BUT A REPORTER FIGURED OUT
WHICH ONE DONALD TRUMP USES.
FROM THAT ACCOUNT YOU ACTUALLY GET THE, "SAD," "BABY,"
CELEBS ARE LOSERS.
AND THEN WHATEVER THE OTHER ONE IS, IT SOUNDS PERFECTLY NORMAL,
REASONABLE, POLITICAL SPEAK STUFF THAT CLEARLY HIS
SPOKESPERSON CRAFTED INPUT OUT THERE.
BUT TO YOU IN THE AUDIENCE, YOU DON'T KNOW WHICH ONE IT'S COMING
FROM BECAUSE IT IS GOING TO THE SAME TWEETER MACHINE, AND
YOU ARE SEEING IT FROM THE SAME ACCOUNT.
I WONDER WHICH ONE WAS TRUMP, AT WHICH ONE WAS THE POLITICIAN.
BUT YEAH, IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE BEING AT THE
MARCH, I KNOW A LOT OF PEOPLE WERE ENERGIZED BY IT AND
NOW ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT ACTIONS.
WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO TAKE FROM THIS, HOWEVER GOING TO ORGANIZE,
WHAT ISSUES ARE THEY GOING TO ORGANIZE AROUND, AND THAT'S WHY
I KIND OF FELT SOME --
IN KELLY ANNE CONWAY AND DONALD TRUMP'S REACTIONS, THEY
DON'T KNOW WHAT'S COMING FOR THEM.
WHEN YOU CAN GET 3 MILLION PEOPLE ORGANIZE, THEY DON'T
KNOW WHAT IS COMING AND I LOOK FORWARD TO IT.

Smush Parker Wants To Team Up With Kobe Bryant And Lamar Odom In Ice Cube's Big3 League - Duration: 5:44.
Never assume that Smush Parker is out of ideas.
The former Los Angeles Lakers guard and Kobe Bryant combatant, last seen dominating (seriously)
in the Mongolian and Tunisian basketball leagues, would like in on Ice Cube's new three-on-three
basketball league, the Big3.
He would like to slide back into the triangle offense, alongside Bryant and former teammate
Lamar Odom, still in recovery after a reported drug overdose nearly took his life in 2015.
Parker, as you'd expect, made his suggestion on TMZ:
The 35-year-old Parker hasn't played in the NBA since 2008, when the Los Angeles Clippers
waived him.
He worked with Bryant for just two seasons in 2005-06 and 2006-07, causing enough lasting
enmity for Kobe to call Parker "the worst" in 2012, with Parker's defense coming in
the form of asking Bryant and others to try and learn more about the "misunderstood"
man they call "Smush."
Bryant, who turns 39 in August, walked away from the NBA in 2016 after a Hall of Fame
career.
Odom has not played in the NBA since a 2014 tryout with the New York Knicks ended without
him playing a minute for the club.
Bryant might have been sturdy enough to drop 60 points in a game nine months ago, but he
was the worst big-minute player in the NBA in
2015-16, and Parker (at age 35) is no spring chicken himself.
Perhaps the only enthusiasm shared by both Kobe and Smush during their two-year stint
playing alongside each other in Los Angeles was the glee the two took in breaking the
triangle offense to chase down shot attempts, so that particular offense might not be much
of a help in this instance.
It was nice of Smush Parker to bring a sense of awareness and … wait, no, check this
out:
"I think back then, we were both immature versions of who we are today … we work well
together and I wholeheartedly, no doubt in my mind, know that we could've been the
best backcourt in Lakers history."
Kobe couldn't even achieve "best backcourt in Lakers history" status alongside Derek
Fisher (or even Gary Payton or Steve Nash).
But don't try telling that to a man in Smush Parker who probably doesn't want to be bothered
with tales
of Jerry West and 25.9-points-per-game scorer Gail Goodrich, or Magic Johnson and Michael
Cooper.
How about just Smush Parker, one-on-three in the Big3, with Kobe Bryant commenting with
full and an FCC-free range of movement when it came to cursing?
Now that's something we'd pay to see.

Nutrition Planning Tools - Duration: 10:58.
This chapter we get into some hands on application of applying nutrition science to your daily
meals.
What are some tools that we can do that with?
Chapter two is all about those diet planning tools that are available to help people apply
the research-based guidelines into their every day practice.
In chapter one, we learned about the broad based five characteristics to a healthy diet.
You might remember?
Things like adequacy, balance, calorie control, moderation and variety were the principles.
Those principles seem simple but most Americans fail to put them into practice.
So to help us with applying those principles into our daily eating, meal planning tools
have been developed.
They include the Dietary Reference Intakes or called DRIs, the 2015 Dietary Guidelines,
the USDA Food Patterns and MyPlate, the Exchange System and the DASH Diet.
Let's take a quick walk through those so I can introduce you to them and then you'll
take some time this week to explore them on your own.
I have in front of you, the table showing some of the DRIs.
This demonstrates how the DRIs are customized by life stage group, on the left hand side
here and by nutrient.
They include five sets of standards, the four most useful to individuals are the RDAs, the
AIs, the ULs and the AMDRs.
Your book gives a great review of these so be sure to note that.
The RDAs are not a minimum requirement to avoid deficiencies, they are designed now
(in the old days it was that, but now they are designed) for optimal health.
What is the nutrient amount that you should get to improve your health?
And they are also for healthy individuals, someone who is sick or has cancer, these do
not provide them the recommended intakes they would need to go to a separate source for
that.
There also is a tool I provided so that if you'd like you can print your own DRI table
customized.
I show it here, a sample of a male who's 25 yrs, he's 6 foot tall, he's 175 pounds and
we're just going to say he's moderately active.
When you submit that, the website brings back to you a table that's customized specifically
for those parameters.
I thought that was kind of a nice resource, and I'm providing that under your week two
materials.
Next up, we have the Dietary Guidelines.
The 2015 Dietary Guidelines have some specific focuses that are a little different than the
previous set that came out five years prior.
These come out every five years and as you can see the range here, this one is 2015 to
2020.
They didn't get this release actually though until the very end of 2015, and they rolled
out in January of 2016.
So your textbook does not have these, they have the 2010.
So be aware you need to use the additional resources that I am providing to get familiar
with the 2015 Dietary Guidelines.
These guidelines are intended for people 2 years and older, not for infants.
I review these at length in your Key Point #2.
I give you all the resources that you need to take a closer look.
You'll find that the summary shows the primary changes outlined.
One of the new emphasis is on the added sugars in the diet.
These guidelines are intended to set the direction for our whole nation and they are formulated
by a committee of experts who determine which dietary components our nation is having trouble
getting enough of in their diet and so therefore they pull all of that together, they look
at the disease states that those nutrients relate with and they come up with what do
we think the nation needs to start working harder on.
Now we take those dietary guidelines and those feed directly into what we now call Choose
My Plate (but some of you may have heard of the Food Pyramid or remember it). This has
taken lots of forms over the years, and this a tool that they are putting together to pull
in all those recommendations into a useful strategy.
How can we incorporate that into our lives?
I also provide this link, this week under week two.
The My Plate provides graphic representation of the dietary guidelines and provides opportunity
for individuals to customize that also to their unique situations based on their age,
height, weight and activity levels.
I will show you that here.
We have a link that you can if you'd like to find your own personal plan, and find out
what is the right amount of calories for you?
They do this nice grid.
You can also find your own plan.
Let's do that.
Let's say your name is John, you are 25 yrs, you're a male, you do about 30 minutes of
activity every day, you're six foot tall, and you weigh 175 lbs.
You can submit that.
Then they want you to select a goal for your weight.
Let's say John wants to maintain his weight.
It then provides for us a personalized plan for John.
It tells each food group and how much of that food group should he be eating each day.
What are some examples in that food group?
What are some tips to get that right variety that are part of the guidelines.
Also, we have MyFoodaPedia.
This is a nice tool that shows individual foods, that you can look up.
And you can find the specific nutrient content.
The next tool that we are going to explore is looking at estimating portion sizes.
One of the things that's necessary for any type of meal planning, is understanding how
much is on that plate that you are eating.
So I am going to introduce you all to the concept of using common objects.
You are going to brush up on your ability to judge how much is on your plate by trying
the Portion Reality Lab in the Discussion Board.
View the portion distortion information that I provided in Key Point #3 and also printout
the common object guide to guesstimating food portions, which is in the extra's, in the
bottom of the week two folder.
The idea here is that most of us can visualize the size of a common object.
This can then be used to estimate the amount of a food on the plate.
For instance a deck of cards, is approximately 3 oz of meat.
After using this we can do a more accurate job of estimating what we've eaten without
actually getting the measuring cups out.
Let's face it!
Not all of us want to take the time to do that.
We've got all the tools right here in our mind.
It's interesting if you take a 10 inch plate of food and move that food to a six inch plate,
perceptually most people feel like they are more satisfied, because they feel like they
got more food.
So try this at home.
You may be surprised.
Another diet planning tool, I'd like you to be aware of is called the exchange lists.
Here it says the Diabetic Exchange List because it is common to use these with people with
diabetes who need to follow a more stringent diet to manage health condition.
This also can be used for people with kidney disease.
This system mimics the concept of the USDA Food Patterns with food groups, but it is
designed to be much more specific to carbohydrate, protein, fat and the calorie content of the
food.
Portion sizes are precise in this system so that one food in a group may be exchanged
for another and the person is still going to get very similar macronutrient intake and
calorie intake.
For example, if we take a look at the starch group here 15 grams of carbohydrate, approximately
3 grams of protein, trace amounts of fat, and 80 calories.
If we go down to the starch list it gives some examples of what fits in this, well we
could have a 1/2 a cup of cereal or we could have a slice of bread.
Those are very similar in composition as far as calories and carbohydrates.
All of those foods, you could also interchange 1/3 cup of rice, each of them provides approximately
80 calories and 15 grams of carbohydrate.
This system is useful in more complex diets so that we can manage them without that labor
of getting out a measuring cup and having to measure every time.
Lastly, let's introduce you to the DASH diet.
A fantastic plan, this really pulls together a lot of research from many areas not only
for a healthy heart.
DASH stands for Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension.
It originated out of a study that looked at people with high blood pressure and found
the optimal diet to improve that blood pressure.
You can review more about the DASH diet in your text on page 452-454.
Your diet study part one will give you an opportunity to examine your diet patterns
and start using the MyPlate tools to see how your habits measure up to the 2015 dietary
guidelines.
I hope you have fun with it!

Blocked more gaysians than the great wall of china oh no he didn't
Than the great wall of China?
What the fuck?
Oh my god Okay so this is like Donald Trumps profile
If Donald Trump was gay I imagine this is what his profile would look like
One guy messaged me to chat his profile said… …only into white guys, sorry.
I didn't feel like pointing out how racist it was but I did tell him I was Latinx to
get him to go away.
He replied by saying "That's OK I don't mind Latinos."
Thank you Latin men have perfect sized dicks so I told
him I was trans and he asked me what I was on grindr for.
Well that's a real bummer.
Uh, I'm sorry you had to go through that.
That one hits hard.
I get some weird comments…
What a dick.
Are you sure you're Native American?
You don't look Native American.
What does a Native American supposed to look like?
Like what is a Latino supposed to look like?
I actually get that a lot 'cause I'm Metis.
Name "O.C."
I'm hoping that means Orange County I love fresh meat…
…preferably veal or lamb, never pork… …don't like sushi.
Not big on dumplings or Chinese food in general… …curries only from time to time…
…and I never have burnt toast…
Ugh [dry heaves] that actually made gag a little bit.
I kind of have to laugh at that one because he's referring people as food.
If you're going to be a weird disgusting food racist, like just put into white meat
only.
I wonder if this person even realizes that what this person is doing is like so so damaging,
so objectifying and so violently racist?
Educated [laughs] with an "8" Educated and very straight acting for same.
Love latino, arab, married, 2 women only.
A little confused about that.
Not into femme, bottoms, shop assistants…
Into hetero types only, I'm a top.
So if you're a top and you're not into bottoms, do you only cross swords?
Name: Brainy.
Into fit, good looking charming and masculine.
White or Latin only.
I like "Masculine" is all in caps too.
You are a racist and femmephobic.
Sorry only date guys who drive trucks.
So that's everyone in Edmonton.
Well I mean there are some really nice truck nuts out there.
Like drive trucks where?
Well we are in Alberta, so maybe he's moving.
Unless you're driving a truck like straight into his asshole?
Bi and totally DL.
Not into femmes, fat guys, asians, or latinos.
Send a face pic.
Tired of asking I will just block you.
That one's so annoying.
Not into fats, femmes, or asians I see that one or like hear that one all the time.
[Pats stomach] I have a little too much for him I think.
Mates, dates, we'll see.
Please be STI clean… …not old, effeminate or Asian.
Just an attraction thing.
[Groans] We don't say that people who have the flu
are dirty.
That one really disgusts me.
I don't like that one.
Can you imagine someone who's on a dating app and is like a little bit older…
I just keep seeing those messages that people who are older are not welcome.
Like, again, let's do better.
That pic is the worst thing I've ever seen, stop wearing make-up like now.
You might be gay but you don't have to be a freak.
Right not I have residual make-up from doing drag last night.
Did you get this from my mom?
I'm kidding she's worse.
Ugh there's so much hate within the community it's so sad to see sometimes.
I've actually had this a couple of times [laughs].
Oh god that one actually kind of hit home a little bit.
Edmonton profile says "No Asians, no Asians, please."
I don't know if you've looked at a map in your whole fucking life but like Asia is
a pretty big continent, so are you excluding anyone who's Russian, Mongolian, Japanese,
Chinese, Korean…
I kind of want to read it again just like how the grammar is…
…Vietnamese, Indonesian, Malaysian…
"No Asians, no asians, please."
This person is like, literally begging…
…Pakistani, Indian… …which makes it so much more, I don't
know, terrible.
…Anyone?
In that whole continent?
Istanbul, Constantinople?
Don't matter to you.
Reading through these profiles is just what I deal with, um, on a daily basis.
I sent a message to this guy I said "Hi" and as I reply I ended up getting a response
saying "Go home to fucking China, you fucking chink and make vermicelli noodles."
I responded, I said "Well as much as I'd love to go to China, I'm Canadian and Canada
is my home."
And he didn't take it well.
He said "Nice answer smarty pants.
If I ever see you on the road or in the streets I'll break your face."
And then he says "Oh I don't have to break your face because you're fucking ugly."
Or like I'm not racist or anything, it's like my "preference" and like but it's
like kind of the same thing.
It's just the nicer way of saying it.
We already have to go through so much like hate and negativity from like people outside
of the community.
We would expect to have some positivity within it.
It's alright to have a type.
But at the same time, you should leave yourself more open to experiences because you'd be
losing the opportunity of a lifetime with someone.
You never know who you might fall for.
If you're constantly being told that like "I'm not going to date you because you're
fat, I'm not going to date you because you're Asian, like how is that going to make that
person feel if you're constantly being barraged with that information.
All the time.
You're going to create so many vulnerable people.
All those things around us whether it's racism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, ableism,
heteronormativity.
All of those things play a role into who we are and that plays a role into your tastes
and your attractions.
Claiming that it's just a "preference" you're claiming that you are not a part
of the process that shaped you.
You are not alone and there are people who have gone through this.
You are a wonderful person and it doesn't matter what some fucking dickhead online has
to say to you.
You're good enough.
You're beautiful.
Don't let the haters get you down.
You know.
Keep being you.
Don't let those attitudes stop you from living your truth.
Gosh that's so cliche, living your truth.
There are people here to support you so let's go there together.

N. Korea to collapse and reunification to come within 5 years: Thae Yong-ho - Duration: 2:29.
Not long ago, Arirang TV sat down with Thae Yong-ho, the former North Korean deputy ambassador
to the UK, who recently defected to South Korea.
During the interview, he expressed confidence that the regime will *completely collapse,...
and that reunification will happen within **five years.
Oh Jung-hee has the details.
Reunification of the Korean peninsula is set to happen in 5 years or even sooner.
That's what former North Korean deputy ambassador to London, Thae Yong-ho, told Arirang TV chief
news anchor Moon Conn-young during an exclusive interview.
Thae said North Korea as we know it will cease to exist as soon as the Kim Jong-un regime
crumbles down.
"Right now, all North Korea people, and high-ranking officials know quite well that the current
hereditary system has nothing to do with true communism.
There is no more any Kim family member after Kim Jong-un.
When Kim Jong-un goes out, then I can say that reunification will come."
The former diplomat added the reunification of the two Koreas is more feasible than ever,
as there's no other person in the Kim family to succeed Kim Jong-un's position.
Thae entered South Korea in August last year,... and revealed that his disillusionment with
Kim's reign of terror prompted his defection.
Thae is the highest ranking official,... since Hwang Jang-yop, largely considered the author
of the North Korean Juche ideology, defected in 1997.
And since his arrival in South Korea, Thae has been expressing his willingness to devote

Real English: Using WHEN & WHERE to Make Plans - Duration: 8:56.
Hi. I'm Gill from www.engvid.com, and today we have a lesson on quite a nice social subject:
"Making Arrangements to Meet a Friend". Okay? And the idea is that this friend is
an English-speaking friend. They may be English, or American, or Canadian, or they may speak
another language, but you and they can only communicate in English. Maybe they're Chinese
and you're Spanish or something, and the only language you have in common is English. But
either way, you have to communicate in English, and this is one of the best ways to learn
English, is to have friends who speak English, and have to communicate with them in English.
So please make friends with English speakers, because apart from being friends, it will
be very good for your language learning. Okay, right.
So, first of all say you're phoning your friend and you're saying... First of all, you're
not going to just go straight in and say:
"Let's arrange to meet."
You want to first of all say things like: "Hi! How are you?" because if they're not very well, it's not
a good idea to start making arrangements to meet. So, just socially you need to say:
"Hello. How are you? How is everything going? I haven't seen you for a while.
Shall we meet up? Are
you free to meet up?" "To meet up" is to meet, but we often say "meet up", with the "up"
preposition. "Shall we meet up?" And the "shall" is used when you make a suggestion.
"Shall we? Shall we do something?" Okay?
So once you've done your little introductory part and they're feeling well, and they want
to meet you and go somewhere interesting, we can move on to the second part, you need
to decide when. When are you both free? Okay, so you might say:
"When are you free?" and
they might say: "Oh, well, I'm free on Tuesday afternoon, Thursday morning, Saturday afternoon",
so you decide between yourselves which is the best time for both of you.
"I'm free on" and the day.
Okay? You use "on" with the day. "I'm free on Tuesday, on Saturday". Okay?
And then just to check: "Is that okay for you?" You have to check with the other person:
Is that okay for them as well? And then if they say: -"Yes." -"Great. Great."
Useful word: "Great", whenever you're pleased about something. "Great."
So, you've got the day, you now need to decide on the time. "What time shall we meet?" Again,
using "shall" as the suggestion. "What time shall we meet?" And because you're meeting
a friend, you don't want to make it like:
"Oh, I start work at 9:30 in the morning, I have to be there."
This is a nice, social occasion. You don't have to say:
"Be there at 2 o'clock." As it's a friend and it's a social meeting, you can be a little bit more
casual about it and say: "Oh, around... Around 2 o'clock", which means just before 2, just
after 2. "Around" is a very useful word for time. "Let's meet around 2 o'clock." Okay?
So you've decided on the day and the time.
So thirdly, you have to then decide where to meet, somewhere interesting maybe that
you haven't been before. "Where shall we meet?" So "shall" again. "Where shall we meet?" And
your friend might suggest:
-"Oh, an art gallery. I haven't been to that art gallery for a while.
Shall we meet there? Have you ever been there?"
-"No, I haven't been to that one."
-"Oh, okay then. Well, let's meet there. I think you'd like it." Okay?
So, once you've decided on the location, the art gallery... An art gallery is a big place,
and there's an outside and an inside. You have to decide exactly where, so: "Whereabouts?"
is a useful word. "Whereabouts?" It's just like saying: "Where?
Where shall we meet around the building?
Whereabouts shall we meet? Inside or outside?"
But if it's in the UK, because
of the weather, it's not always a good idea to meet outside somewhere because it could
be bad weather, so you say:
"In case it's raining, in case it's cold it might be better to meet inside",
so you can be dry and warm while you're waiting for your friend. So:
"In case" means "if", "if". It might be raining, it might be cold, so: "In case it's raining,
in case it's cold, we'd better meet inside." Okay?
Always a good idea. And you can sit
down as well usually if you want to. So, say it's an art gallery, there are different places.
And I'm thinking of a particular art gallery here so I'm thinking of different parts of
it that are good places to meet someone. The foyer,
which is just inside. You go through
the door and it's like the hallway of open space called the foyer, which is a French
word actually, but we all use it to mean the inside, just inside the building, just inside
the entrance. In the foyer, in the café. Always a good idea, start in the café and
have a nice chat first, a nice talk with your friend before you go off to look at some pictures. Café.
In the gift shop, because if you're in the gift shop you can be looking around
at the things before your friend comes. You might want to buy a few things as presents
for people. Gift shop. A bookshop, you can be looking at books. Always something to look
at. Books in English hopefully. Okay? On a particular floor of the gallery, you could say:
"Well, let's meet on the second floor because there's a good exhibition there at the moment."
On the second floor or the first floor. Or in the basement. Down... Downstairs
in the basement below the ground. Okay? So different places you can meet in the building.
So once you've decided when and where to meet, you then have to finish off your phone call,
and so you can say: "Okay, that's great. See you on..." On the day.
"See you on Tuesday around 2 o'clock." Okay?
And something nice to end with, like:
"Looking forward to seeing you",
when you're going to meet someone or you're going to work with somebody.
"Looking forward to" is a good phrase. "Looking forward to seeing you." Okay?
So, I hope you make lots of English-speaking friends and arrange to meet them, and learn
lots of language from them.
And there is a quiz on the website: www.engvid.com.
Please go and try the quiz. And that's it, really.
So hope to see you again very soon.
Okay, bye.

Wearable DSLR with Stabilizer - What could go wrong? - Duration: 8:29.
By now, most of you guys know what a wearable gimbal is.
It's an electronic stabilizer that holds a GoPro, and gives you really smooth footage.
They're great for first person video, but arguably even better for filming other riders.
A shot of someone riding in front of you could look almost like it was filmed with a drone.
One limitation of wearable gimbals is that they only hold action cameras, which have
tiny lenses and tiny sensors.
I got to thinking; what if I could stabilize a big old camera and ride around with it?
That could be the ultimate follow cam.
Introducing the Seth's Bike Hacks 4000 chest mounted Digital Single Lens Mirrorless Stabilizer
Rig.
This is a combination of several GoPro brackets, an expensive handheld stabilizer, and one
late night in my office.
So, basically a whole bunch of stuff being used improperly.
Of course, the heart of this operation is the stabilizer, which is the Zhiyun Crane.
I convinced Zhiyun to send me one of these in exchange for some screen time, but I'm
not sure this is what they had in mind.
Almost immediately I noticed that the stabilizer was designed to turn very slowly.
It's also extremely heavy, and very easy to hit on the handlebars when leaning forwards.
So, the plan was to follow Zach carefully and try not to destroy
all my stuff.
At the time of filming we didn't realize how bad the wind noise would be with the camera's
internal microphone.
Looking back it makes sense.
Between the delay in steering and the bulkiness of the rig, it was starting to look like this
was a bad idea.
After a while though I started to get the hang of riding with it.
Staying on smoother trails helped too.
So although we got a few cool looking shots, I'm sorry to say that the Seth's Bike
Hacks 4000 is not the future of advanced follow cam technology.
No, it's probably better to use this handheld stabilizer the way it was designed—that
is handheld.
So, a lot of you guys are going to get what you've been asking for.
Some video clips of me sessioning crap around the trails.
First we tried this gap from the lip of this tabletop.
I guess the landing area is supposed to be a berm for bypassing the jump.
I didn't throw my weight right on the first try.
It would have been nice to have some clouds, but I'm still pretty happy with this shot.
Now it's worth noting that Florida mountain bike trails are often a mix of manmade jumps,
wooden features, and remnants of failed public works projects.
This can be a negative or a positive depending on your riding style.
That explains this patch of concrete, which gave a pretty nice kick.
It even looked possible to 360.
Not the nicest 360's ever, but the videography looked awesome.
Next we went to this narrow wooden camel hump thing.
Yeah I
cased it a little bit, but whatever, I'll take it.
As a test run with my new toy I'd say it was highly successful.
So I hope you guys enjoyed this video even though we didn't accomplish what we originally
set out to do.
This Crane really was a pleasure to use, so I'm leaving a link to it in the description.
What do you guys think?
Would you like to see more planned shots and sessions on trail features?
Thanks for riding with me today, and I'll see you next time.

DIY studded or spiked winter bicycle tire - mr2ndopinion.com - 0039 - Duration: 5:48.
Hi everyone i started a project euhm some of you guys might not know this
yet but i'm here to teach you, so what did i do
I got myself another tire, at another, at a shop
I put the new tire on I took the old tire off
so what am i doing with that old tire look at this there is the tire and the drill
and what am i doing inside, don't know if you can see it
can you see this hole at my thumb and can you see this hole at my thumb
and this hole at my thumb and that hole
I'm making holes in my tire and why am i doing that
because later on, let me guide you to my box I will get these screws, they are not big
as you can see and I will put them in here so there are spikes
on my tire you might ask why is he doing that, well i'm
doing that because this way you get spikes all over the tire
here, here, here, here, here, here And you'll slip less, you will slip less
you will slip less because 2 or 3 days ago I slipped on my ass
2 times and i thought by myself, if this fcking city
is to fcking lazy to throw salt on the pathway for bikes and
only for cars then i'll make myself some fucking snowtires
you know so what i'm doing now is, i'm drilling holes
in it as you can see I already did a couple of holes as you can
see look, i have to do one extre here because
i missed one i see i missed a couple, yeah i'm doing tires and
afther that i take wait where did i leave it, okay a little later
i take this one this tire, it's a broken one, it's unfixable,
so what I do is, i put it in here on the screws, after i put
the screws in, and then i put it on this one where the tire
is in that i can inflate so i have spikes around the wheel
i only going to do it for my front wheel because it's the place i slip most
so yeah that's the project i work on if you want to, if you got any questions about
this feel free to ask because i'm here for you
showing you how to make snowtires for your bicycle
these, these they cost me like i donno 2 euro's that's it, this i had at home because it's
broken I only needed to buy a tire that was like
9 euro's but i'm usnig the old tire that was broken
anyway as you can see, look, for only those days
that, your know its snowy and ice outside, i take this one off
and put that one on So this is it guys, this is the final product
as you can see lots and lots of spikes on it, see that's
how you do it, inside the tire i have the, the other tire,
the broken one and some tape, so yeah now all you have to
do is put the tire on the wheel and you have yourself a spiked tire,
be sure not to pump it up to hard in the beginning because i don't know, it might be so
that the inside of the tire can't hold it and explodes
or something, i don't want to be relyable for that
so, if you pump up the tire, pump it for 70 or 80 procent
go for a ride and see what it'll give you.
if it's okay, you think it's okay and it's gonne hold
pump up the rest of the tire so that's it guys, i hope you enjoyed this
video and maybe, i will just have to give it a try
i guess because this is the first time i try this
kind of stuff i guess I let you guys know how it went,
I hope you enjoyed this video if you want to see me do more video's like
this just put it down in the comments below and
subscribe and i'll see you later!

Short-handed Spurs dismantle Nets, 112-86 - Duration: 2:05.
NEW YORK — With star forward Kawhi Leonard and three other regulars out, the Spurs' lineup was different.
The expectations from their coach never are.
Patty Mills scored 20 points, LaMarcus Aldridge had 16 and San Antonio rolled to a 112-86 victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Monday night.
Pau Gasol (broken bone, left hand) and Tony Parker (sore left foot) didn't even make the road trip, while Manu Ginobili was scheduled for a night off but couldn't have played anyway because of back spasms. Then Leonard, the Western Conference player of the week, was scratched.
Without them, the Spurs put seven players in double figures and turned the game into a blowout with a 39-point third quarter. They improved to 19-4 on the road.
"Everyone gets excited to be able to get the chance to get out there and play, but nothing changes," Mills said. "The game plan's still the same, what's expected of us is the same, so it's just that opportunity. But there is that excitement when we do it the right way, play the right way, share the ball and everyone does their little piece."

The Spurs announced Leonard was resting, though coach Gregg Popovich said the All-Star forward had a sore left hand, which was wrapped after Leonard was hit while scoring a career-high 41 points in an overtime victory at Cleveland on Saturday.
"Our depth is one of our strengths and everybody's ready to play, and of course Pop makes it very clear what he expects out of us out there, whether it's the first-team guys or the role players doing that," said David Lee, who had 15 points off the bench.
Isaiah Whitehead scored 19 points for the Nets, who got more bad news before the game when they announced Jeremy Lin will be sidelined another three to five weeks after aggravating his strained left hamstring. They have lost eight straight at home.
"For whatever reason we didn't come out with the energy and that's one thing that our team I will say usually brings," Nets coach Kenny Atkinson said. "Tonight we didn't bring it. I am disappointed.
I am disappointed for the fans."

SEE IT: First Lady Melania caught on camera scowling during inauguration after President Trump tu... - Duration: 1:21.
Melania Trump apparently only smiles when her husband's watching.
The First Lady can be seen in a cringe-worthy video clip from Friday's inauguration ceremony flashing a beaming smile for her husband only to have a cloud of gloom come over face the second he looks away.
"It's my prayer that God will bless you, your family, your administration and may He bless America," North Carolina Rev. Franklin Graham can be heard saying as President Trump is met by an ear-to-ear smile from his third wife when he looks over his shoulder.
But when Trump turns back around, his wife's encouraging smile gives way to a scowl as despondent as the gray rainclouds overhead.

Some speculated that the initial Twitter video had been modified or reversed to make it appear as if the First Lady soured when her husband looked the other way. But a wider shot of the same clipcleared up any ambiguity about the clip's authenticity.
To make matters even more awkward, the video began circulating online just one day after the presidential couple's 12th wedding anniversary, prompting the #FreeMelania hashtag to pop up across social media.
"It really feels like he is holding her hostage," one Twitter user speculated.

Venus Williams reaches semifinals at Australian Open, will face CoCo Vandeweghe - Duration: 3:13.
MELBOURNE, Australia — Venus Williams has reached her 21st Grand Slam semifinal, her first at the Australian Open in 14 years.
CoCo Vandeweghe advanced to her first major semifinal, anywhere, beating Grand Slam winners in back-to-back rounds. The one sure outcome when they meet this week will be an American in the final at Melbourne Park.
The 36-year-old Williams beat No. 24-seeded Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova 6-4, 7-6 (3) on Tuesday, becoming the oldest player to reach the Australian Open women's semifinals in the Open era.
She'll be meeting a confident Vandeweghe, who dictated play against French Open champion Garbine Muguruza in a 6-4, 6-0 quarterfinal win.
The No. 35-ranked Vandeweghe upset top-ranked Angelique Kerber, who won the Australian and U.S. titles last year, in the fourth round.
She followed it up with another commanding win, the 10th in her career against a Top 10 player.
Vandeweghe saved the only break point she faced in the first set with an ace, and only conceded 10 points in the 28-minute second set. Of her 31 winners, 14 were from her powerful forehand side.
"Once I got rolling in the second, it was like a freight train," she said, "You couldn't stop it."
Williams has advanced through the tournament without dropping a set, and isn't ready to stop there in the latest installment of her career revival.
"It's wonderful to start the year out with this appearance," said Williams, who hadn't reached the semifinals in Australia since 2003, the year she lost the final to her sister, Serena. "I want to go further. I'm not happy just with this.
But I'm so happy to be in the position to like go further."
Williams didn't reach the quarterfinals at any of the Grand Slams from 2011 — when she was diagnosed with the Sjogren Sydnrome, which saps energy and causes joint pain — and the 2015 Australian Open.
CoCo Vandeweghe.
(MADE NAGI/EPA)
She lost in the first round here last year, but returned to reach the semifinals at Wimbledon and finished the year ranked 17th. Vandeweghe also lost in the first round here last year, and at the U.S. Open last September, but has hit form in Melbourne.
As well as the wins over Kerber and Muguruza, she has had wins over No.
15-seeded Roberta Vinci and Eugenie Bouchard, who reached the semifinals here and the final at Wimbledon in 2014.
Williams said the quarterfinal results were a "great win for the U.S."
"I'm sure she's going to want to be in her first final," Williams said. "I'm going to want to be in only my second final here. So it's going to be a well-contested match."
Williams dropped four service games against Pavlyuchenkova, but she responded each time by breaking back. In the tiebreaker, she trailed 3-1 before winning the last six points — clinching the match on Pavlyuchenkova's double-fault.
It earned her a spot in the semifinals for the second time in three majors — after a six-year absence from the last four.
With her run to the Wimbledon semifinals last year, Williams became the oldest woman since Martina Navratilova (at 37 years, 258 days) in 1994 to advance so far at a major.
With Serena Williams in the quarterfinals and targeting a record 23rd major, there's the prospect of another sisters final in Australia.
Williams isn't looking across the net, though, saying that's not what makes a champion. She is focused on Grand Slam title No. 8.
"I try to believe," she said. "I'd like to be a champion, in particular this year. The mentality I walk on court with is: 'I deserve this'."

Epilepsy - What is epilepsy, symptoms, causes and treatment - Duration: 4:16.
What is epilepsy?
People with epilepsy tend to have recurrent seizures (fits).
The seizures occur because of a sudden surge of electrical activity in the brain - there
is an overload of electrical activity in the brain.
This causes a temporary disturbance in the messaging systems between brain cells.
During a seizure the patient's brain becomes "halted" or "mixed up".
Every function in our bodies is triggered by messaging systems in our brain.
What a patient with epilepsy experiences during a seizure will depend on what part of his/her
brain that epileptic activity starts, and how widely and quickly it spreads from that
area.
Consequently, there are several types of seizures and each patient will have epilepsy in his/her
own unique way.
Epilepsy is a fairly common neurological disorder that affects 65 million people around the
world.
In the United States, it affects about 3 million people.
Anyone can develop epilepsy, but it's more common in young children and older adults.
It occurs slightly more in males than in females.
There's no cure for epilepsy, but the disorder can be managed with medications and other
strategies.
symptoms of epilepsy?
Seizures are the main symptom of epilepsy.
Symptoms differ from person to person and according to the type of seizure.
Focal (partial) seizures.
A simple partial seizure doesn't involve loss of consciousness.
Symptoms include: alterations to sense of taste, smell, sight,
hearing, or touch, dizziness,
tingling and twitching of limbs,
Complex partial seizures involve loss of awareness or consciousness.
Other symptoms include.
staring blankly, unresponsiveness,
performing repetitive movements,
Generalized seizures.
Generalized seizures involve the whole brain.
There are six types:
Absence seizures, which used to be called "petit mal seizures," cause a blank stare.
This type of seizure may also cause repetitive movements like lip smacking or blinking.
There's also usually a short loss of awareness.
Tonic seizures cause muscle stiffness.
Atonic seizures lead to loss of muscle control and can make you fall down suddenly.
Clonic seizures are characterized by repeated, jerky muscle movements of the face, neck,
and arms.
Myoclonic seizures cause spontaneous quick twitching of the arms and legs.
Tonic-clonic seizures used to be called "grand mal seizures."
Symptoms include:
stiffening of the body, shaking,
loss of bladder or bowel control, biting of the tongue,
loss of consciousness, Following a seizure, you may not remember
having one, or you might feel slightly ill for a few hours,
A few of the most commonly reported triggers are:
lack of sleep, illness or fever,
stress, bright lights, flashing lights, or patterns,
caffeine, alcohol, medicines, or drugs, skipping meals, overeating, or specific food
ingredients.
Possible causes include:
traumatic brain injury, scarring on the brain after a brain injury (post-traumatic epilepsy),
serious illness or very high fever, stroke, which is a leading cause of epilepsy
in people over age 35, other vascular diseases,
lack of oxygen to the brain, brain tumor or cyst,
dementia or Alzheimer's disease, maternal drug use, prenatal injury, brain
malformation, or lack of oxygen at birth, infectious diseases such as AIDS and meningitis,
genetic or developmental disorders or neurological diseases,

U.S. bombings of ISIS camps in Libya connected to Berlin truck attack that left 12 dead - Duration: 2:04.
The decision to bomb terrorist training camps in Libya last week was made after U.S. intelligence officials determined that they were connected to the bloody Berlin truck attack last month, officials said.
Tunisian-born terrorist Anis Amri ploughed a 20-ton truck through a Christmas market in the German capitol on Dec. 19, killing 12 and wounding dozens. ISIS quickly claimed responsibility for the attack and released a prerecorded selfie video of Amri pledging allegiance to the terror group.
On Wednesday, two B-2 bombers departed for a 30-hour round trip from the Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri and dropped 100 precision munitions on multiple ISIS camps southwest of the Libyan city of Sirte, killing more than 80 fighters, intelligence sources told CNN on Monday.
Anis Amri, 24, carried out the Berlin attack before getting shot to death by authorities in Italy.
(AP)
The sources said the decision to strike came after they were able to tie the camps to an ISIS recruitment network in Germany that Amri had been part of. Amri was shot to death by authorities in Italy four days after carrying out the Berlin attack.
"Importantly, these strikes were directed against some of ISIL's external plotters, who were actively planning operations against our allies in Europe," outgoing Defense Secretary Ash Carter said during a news conference last week, using an alternative acronym for the terror group.
A man lays flowers near the Christmas market at Breitscheid square in Berlin, where Amri killed 12 people and wounded dozens.
(HANNIBAL HANSCHKE/REUTERS)
Officials have yet to confirm if the bomb raid killed plotters suspected of having direct ties to Amri. It was not immediately revealed what the nature of those ties were, but sources speculated that the plotters were communicating with Amri over phone before the Christmas market attack.
Pentagon press secretary Peter Cook said among those present in the Libyan camps were extremists trying to reestablish themselves after getting pushed out from their previous stronghold in Sirte by U.S.-backed forces.
"We've been watching them for some time," Cook said. "These were groups of fighters who have been on the move. They have not stayed in the same place for extended period of time.
And this was an opportunity that presented itself that we wanted to take advantage of."
