Water, More Water & Groundhog Day | US Adventures 2017 - Duration: 16:28.
Morning folks! It's about ten past eight in the morning
and I'm not really too sure what I'm going to do today.
I've came over to the window because I saw something really weird earlier
and I heard sirens when I was just starting the intro over there,
so I thought I'd come over and bring the camera in case it happened again.
What basically happened was there was an ambulance
kind of going along with the sirens on trying to get to an emergency I'm guessing.
And it got to the front of the traffic, like there was a big queue
and then to avoid the queue it swerved and went into the traffic coming the opposite way.
So it was basically driving the wrong way down this really busy road.
And there wasn't really anything on the other side of the road,
but like one car had to kind of swerve into another lane to avoid it
and that was just absolutely crazy,
I've never seen a car purposely drive the wrong way down the road.
I don't really know what I'm going to do today, I am going to take the bus.
That's all I've decided. I'm going to take the bus and go somewhere.
It's either going to be one of the parks and I'll go for a nice walk
or it's gonna be Discovery Green and I'll go and see all the Superbowl stuff that's happening.
I'm not really too sure which one.
The Superbowl I think I need to get my bag checked
and they're a bit more funny about what to bring in and stuff
so that's maybe not where I'm going to go,
but around that area there's all sorts of other cool things to see and that's kind of...
the iconic part of Houston I think, that's where like
all the buildings are kind of stacked together like whenever you see a picture of Houston,
it seems to be that area if I'm understanding it correctly.
So I should probably kind of head down there and see the main part of Houston.
Out of the window as well I can also see at the Marriott Hotel
there's like a strong police presence there and I think that's possibly where we drove past it last night
and there seemed to be something going on with the New England Patriots there
like maybe a welcome party or something?
So i don't know if they're staying at that hotel
and that's maybe why there's security around there. I don't really know.
But I might go down and check that out.
I'm gonna have to leave the hotel at some point anyway so that might be what I do.
And that's about it for now. That's your traffic update.
You know what I forgot to say before? Happy Groundhog Day!
This is legit my favorite day of the year.
I absolutely love it, it's better than my birthday.
I can't believe I'm in America on Groundhog Day, this is insane.
Like people over here at least know what Groundhog Day is.
In the UK if I say "Happy Groundhog Day", people are like, "What's Groundhog Day?"
So nevermind but um...
I think I'd like to go somewhere where people are kind of celebrating.
Not necessarily Groundhog Day, but if I could find like a Superbowl party or something
then I can just be celebrating Groundhog Day there!
Okay so I'm just waiting for the bus now
I'm not ready to show how long it is
but apparently it's going to be about 45 minutes until I get to Downtown.
That's where I've decided I'm going to go. Discovery Green, maybe see what's going on
see what looks good basically.
Welcome to Downtown Houston!
The bus took longer than a taxi would have done,
but I can tell you what, a taxi wouldn't have cost me $1.25.
And I also got to see all the things that I wouldn't see in a taxi
because people would be trying to get me to where I want to go as quickly as possible.
Okay so I'm on Main Street now and there seems to be a lot of shopping areas around here.
I'm maybe going to try and find somewhere to have lunch
and then later I'll maybe go and see Discovery Green.
There's a lot of Superbowl things going on down there today
so I'm not sure I'm gonna get in
but I've seen it mentioned that it's a bit like Houston's Central Park
so I think that's something that I need to go and see.
Okay so I think I'm down at Discovery Green now
and everything is cornered off and there's tons of people around.
It's just chaos down here like I suppose people know what they're doing
but for somebody who's just kind of looking around I don't think this is really the area I want to be in.
So I'm gonna.... keep wandering I think. I think that's the way to go.
[SPLASHING WATER]
That's really cool. Okay so I'm still wandering around,
still trying to find somewhere to eat.
I've been told that there's a really cool place at Prairie Street so I'm trying to find that right now.
So I've found a little taco place and I've got a breakfast taco on the way.
I don't think I've ever actually tried tacos so this should be interesting.
And yeah, I'll let you see it when it comes. This is my lemonade.
It's red because it's raspberry.
And I'm hopeful. I'm hopeful that this is gonna be a good thing.
It was only cheap here, I'm not sure it's gonna fill me up
but I think when I get back to the Galleria I'll maybe have something there
because they seem to have more sit-down type restaurants than they do in this part of town.
And here it is! That's like egg and potatoes, some cheese...
I can't remember what else is in it but we'll give that a go
and I'm not really too sure what this sauce is but I'll maybe give that a try if I'm feeling brave.
Well I just took a shuttle round the kind of Downtown area
to see if there was anything in particular that I wanted to see.
I didn't really see anything. There's probably really cool things to do in Houston but
I wasn't really finding anything that was particularly inspiring me.
So now I'm on the bus back to the Galleria. This is like a special Superbowl one they have on.
And yeah, it's only $2 which is much better value than taking the taxi or something.
So I'm the only one on the bus at the moment,
but there might be more people soon.
I'm thinking of transferring over to this little seat too.
Firstly because I'm by myself and secondly so that nobody sits next to me.
And also there's like a novelty value to it I suppose.
So yeah next time you see me we might be back up at the Galleria.
[SPLASHING WATER]
This is in the middle of the Galleria, isn't that nuts? Just like a water fountain.
The other day when I was in here, it stopped just as I pulled my camera out.
But today I've managed to get it.
Anyway speaking of water we're probably gonna see a bit more later
because I'm gonna try and find the Water Wall.
We just drove past it on the bus so it shouldn't be that hard to find it again.
But I'm detouring through Macy's because they're having special appearances in the next few days
and I want to find out more.
Okay so I just checked Macy's because they are having celebrity appearances this week.
The one that I was most intrigued by was Alyssa Milano
because I love Charmed, honestly I do.
But when I looked at the details you have to make a purchase, which is fair enough
and kind of line up and be one of the first 100 to make a purchase.
And I'm not really interested in doing all that just to maybe meet her
and tomorrow evening is when my friend's coming as well
so I don't want to kind of distract too much from that
I'd rather concentrate on seeing him instead of going,
"Hey, nice to see you, let's go meet Alyssa Milano."
Anyways I'm just heading over to the other side of the Galleria now
and then we're heading outside to go and see the Water Wall.
I knew this was nearby but I had no idea
how nearby, if you come out Nordstrom's and just walk along the street,
you find it so easily. Because it always looked to me like it was
in the middle of like a nature sanctuary or something.
It's weird to think of this next to such a commercial area.
Whoever dreamt this up is just absolutely amazing.
[SPLASHING WATER]
Yeah. Even right back here I'm getting the mist.
Ooh, I didn't notice know this was here.
[SPLASHING WATER]
That's up for the Superbowl. So cool. Really cool.
And then if we go down here there's a massive massive building there too.
I think that's the Williams Tower I think they called it.
I don't really know.
It's so pretty.
I think I'm gonna go back to the Galleria
I'm not sure if I'm gonna have something to eat just now
but I'll maybe see if there's anything worth having.
Okay so here's the thing. I'm just walking to the Galleria behind me
and over the road is the hotel I think where the New England Patriots are staying.
You can decide for yourself. There's people everywhere.
Totally insane. I mean being from Scotland, I'm just not used to this.
I don't know who they are
I'm staying in the same hotel as the friends and family but I wouldn't know them from anybody else.
And it's totally mad to me, there's a news crew behind me there as well
but look at all the people, there's like tons of people who are just standing outside the hotel
trying to see if they can see anybody.
It's totally nuts, isn't it? I had no idea. Well I knew the Superbowl was a big thing,
but it's just not something that's on in the UK so we just never really pay attention to it.
They've tried to make it a thing the last couple of years but fetch just isn't happening.
There's another news crew, I've just passed another one as well
that's like three altogether who are just kind of standing on the opposite side of the road.
side of the road and that's just totally insane to me.
And I'm back in the room!
Okay Superbowl fever has officially hit my hotel.
I thought it was bad this morning, but it's definitely around now.
Like this morning they had a stand downstairs where you could buy merchandise
and there was various people out ready to welcome anybody who came in,
but now there's people just standing there ready to open the door
which is what they were doing anyway, but now
it's like they won't go away and do something else, they will stand at that door
and just check that everybody's there. There were cookies everywhere.
Like everywhere. I'm gonna have to go down and get some later.
And when I went to get the elevator somebody, one of the hotel staff came in with me
and pushed the button for me which I felt was a bit extreme.
So I really feel like they're trying to turn it into like a five-star hotel now
which is really getting my money's worth.
I wasn't able to really say anything when I went to get my food
because there was copyrighted music in the background
and as a YouTuber that's a big no-no so- I did take some video though
so you'll kind of see that while I'm telling you what it is.
So what I had was a Stromboli which I've never ever had before
it's like a pizza crossed with a sausage roll is probably the best way for me to describe it.
I brought back some leftovers because it felt like a bit too much for me.
Like they also had a combo meal where you could like get something from the buffet
so I got some meatballs as well so between the two they've really filled me up
and all that was for like $10. So I'm totally filled.
But I'm Little Miss Sweet Tooth so I have a brownie. Let me just show you this.
Okay so this is a cookies-and-cream brownie. Delicious!
Again I'm not too sure if I'm gonna eat the whole thing now
but that'll keep me going for a little bit.
I think I have a spare spoon still in my wardrobe.
I know it's like a really weird place to keep spoons. Ah ha! There we go.
That was from my cheesecake. So I'm gonna get started on that
and I'll check in with you later I'm sure.
Okay I am so so happy right now.
As I mentioned this morning it is Groundhog Day today
which is my most favorite day and that's because Groundhog Day the movie is my most favorite movie.
And I will watch it all the time I really don't care, there's been days where
I've just watched it on a loop. I just love that film, honestly.
So with it being Groundhog Day,
if I had been at home, I would have been watching Groundhog Day today.
So I went online to try and find out if it was gonna be on TV
and it looked like I wasn't going to be able to get the channel that it was on,
but I've managed it! I've managed to get it on the TV.
I am watching Groundhog Day.
I actually did a little victory dance when I managed to get it on
because I was so sure it wasn't gonna work. So that's the rest of my evening planned!
So I'm just watching Groundhog Day in a loop right now, it's brilliant.
Groundhog Day marathons are definitely the way forward. The UK did it last year
and this is happening this year in the US. I don't know if they've done it in the past
or if any other country has done it but they're just so cool honestly.
Anyways, as I was watching the end of the last Groundhog Day,
I decided to tweet Stephen Tobolowsky
who played Ned Ryerson in the film, who's always been my favorite character.
Years ago I set up like a kind of fan club page on Bebo for Ned Ryerson.
And sadly Bebo is no more, but my love for Ned Ryerson continues.
Anyways so I just thought I'd tweet him and say,
"Happy Groundhog Day," you know, "From your number one fan".
And he liked it. I can't believe that actually happened, it was just crazy.
And even funnier was like I was checking my emails as Ned Ryerson was on the screen.
So as I was reading it he was kind of there like
"It's Ned, Needlenose Ned, Ned the Head" Oh man!
Best Groundhog Day honestly.
Well after a busy day of walking around and seeing everything there is to see of Houston,
I cannot think of any better way to finish the day than with a snuggly blanket
and my favorite ever movie.
So it's still early yet but since this is a Groundhog Day marathon
I'm pretty sure I'm going to be watching Groundhog Day until I go to bed tonight.
So I'm not going to make you watch it with me,
if you want to watch Groundhog Day go find it somewhere and tell me what you think
if that's something you want to do. I'm always up for a Groundhog Day conversation
seriously and they can get quite deep depending on who I'm talking with.
Anyways thank you very very much for watching everybody and I'll see you tomorrow.
Anyways I don't really know what I'm going to do today yet.
[SIRENS] I think....oh?
[AMBULANCE SIRENS]
Apparently I'm just filming all the traffic now. Umm....

Rice Crusted Pizza | How to Make Pizza with a Rice Crust featuring Slice n Rice - Duration: 10:03.
hey everyone it's James from fun foods
and today i'm gonna show you how to make
this rice crust pizza and I'll have a
little help making this with Slice and Rice
and we're making this pizza
that way because slice obviously loves
pizza and rice loves well rice so keep
watching and I will show you step-by-step how
to make this okay so the first thing we're going
to do is start off with two cups of
water pour that into a medium pot next
glory is going to add one cup of rice is
just long-grain rice and then we're
going to take this over to the stove and
we're going to heat it we're gonna get
it to a boil first and then we're gonna
put a lid on it and heat it for another
15 to 20 minutes on a simmer
ok so now that our rice is done gonna
let it cool a little bit because it's
gonna be tough to work with if you don't
and what we're gonna do now is we're
gonna add our cheese go ahead glory
glory going to add this is going to
be 1 cup of mozzarella cheese just going
to add that in there and we can't mix
this up really good get it all in there
and Matt why don't you add that parmesan cheese
there this one it's gonna be half a cup of
Parmesan cheese, oh half a cup!
oh man what... I don't know if he will be able to eye that out really well.
math wasn't my good uh, subject. the whole
thing that's a half cup oh (laughing) ok here we go
bam, there you go made it easy
scared me. my heart was really beating and matt
is going to show us his egg cracking
skills so um he's gonna do it
but he says he can only do it one handed
so go ahead and do it just do it over there
I'll step back right here into it
hear there yup. I have practiced
this year's my (laughing)
I've practiced this
take two here we go so just haha haha
bon a petit Are you serious? Why are you so bad at this? I mean it is kind
of challenging i don't understand I don't
understand how like no like
what is the proper way of...here you go.
ok so now that matt has gloriously cracked
our egg with one hand
we're just gonna beat this up a little
bit before we mix it in here and pour it in
helps it stick together right? helps it stick
together
it's gonna going to be the glue and it'll
cook in the oven that way your are not eating a raw egg
and once it's all mixed up like this and move on to
the next step
ok so the next step we have a 12-inch
pizza pan that you can just do this on a
baking sheet if you really don't want to
get all fancy but it'll work wellness
we're going to spray some cooking spray
on there
there we go perfect and then we're going
to pour our rice out on to that. that looks really
delicious i can probably eat it by itself
I would eat that for breakfast
it has egg yeah I does have egg
then we can just mash it down and
spread it out and might want to use your hands
just to kind of like keep it round
yeah that's a lot more than I thought it's
only one cup yeah don't be tempted to
make two cups it's a lot so how does
it look when it's in the oven like how
will expand I mean like it should'nt expand
it should just form together and crust
up a bit and i'm actually going to use
my hands mostly because the forks not really doing much
justice for that and rice is sticky
by the way
yeah I'm a little sticky, yeah not that Rice. and you just wanna
flatten it out and you want to be
nice and even you don't want too much on
one side and the other side
because what we have to do is now we gotta
bake the crust to get harder before we
put our toppings on so you don't want to put the toppings
on yet
ok so now we're going to take this we're
gonna put it in the oven at 400 degrees
we're only gonna put it in there for between four
and six minutes until it just starts to
get crusty alright so our crust is out of the
oven we only precooked this i did about
five minutes and i think that's good
because it's not sticky anymore it's a
little firm and we're gonna top this
thing off and we're gonna start off with
slice putting on some pizzas sauce so go to
it
alright so first one and you know when
you open it you got got have a little
bit of muscle there and then I'm going
to pour it for some and yeah spread it
out
yea aha then we'll start there we go
just like that nice technique
professional oh yeah i do this you can
find my videos tutorials on how to use
marinara sauce we need a little more
oh yeah
it takes a trained eye to know that yeah I
learned this technique from mr. Miyagi
on Karate Kid wax on wax off
there we go
that good mmm you're the expert so
rice is going to top our pizza with
some cheese mozzarella cheese
can I do this like this do whatever
look at that nice techneque
I call this the mozzbea okay well I got
to practice for our video make sure that will be good trial and error
what works let me know when
you guys think thats it
whatever you think you just threw me to the
wolfs yeah glory has to get
practice put a lot of cheese on a pizza
because in the video that we did on
their channel it has tons of cheese on
100 layers in fact so you gotta check that out. gosh
I feel like what is one layer considered
you know I mean that's why we were not sure
if we bought enough bags of cheese
ok I think I'm almost done things will
be my last one you guys think there's
some people that prefer more cheese and
sauce so I think I've for more sauce and
cheese make it work
whatever way and my job is the
pepperonis which are just plop down
there any where this is actually
really difficult
yeah so it's the hardest part you are doing
it so flawlessly like I make it
look easy and takes
yeah perfect distance between each pepperoni
oh he's making pepperoni's rain. so now we just take this we're
gonna pop this in the oven back at 400
degrees and I wanna watch I'm gonna guess
about 8-10 minutes
ok so our pizza is out of the oven
look at that it looks so good and it
the rice is crispy crust what kind of sauce is
on
there it's on there perfect of course so I guess now
we gotta cut open this thing and try it
out
good yeah I'm ready here we go
use some muscle no oh
yeah clean all right was it easy to slice
it was actually pretty easy
ok well his name is slice
there you go oh gosh not right there
yeah it's really easy to slice so it's my turn
I like the easiness because i hate that's
what I hate about pizza is how hard it is
to cut it yeah there we go then
ok so now the best part of every video
is the taste test of course now this is
a little tough to hold it i think so
well
hmm good better than I thought
yeah oh yeah i was interested to see how
the rice was going to taste but it's good
I can't explain it goes well together
it does you wouldn't think it's a little
not as crusty as a crust
It has a nice little soft like
texture stays together long enough until
it gets in your mouth then breaks apart
it's good. I like it alot
well thanks everyone for watching I hope you
enjoy watching me make this rice crust
pizza with the help of slices and rice
and if you enjoyed this video please hit

Quick Room Tour + 2 DIY Room Decorations! - Duration: 7:41.
Hi guys! My name is Anouk
And today I'm going to do a quick room tour because I'm out of time!
And I also did some DIY's, so..
I'm going to be showing that in the video as well!
Yay
So this is my bed, it's just normal, it's just like any..
Teenager, but mine is even more boring because I have a boring life
And this thing!
Boom! DIY one
Let's go!
First thing that we have to do is make the stars!
I cut them out, and my sister helped me colorize them
Then we have to make a little hole for the rope
And then all we have to do, is hang them on the stick!
And that was it!
And we're back! Now moving on to this little thing..
It has my clock..
And this Tumblr thing which I made myself
And this lamp, which I decorated myself
And I have this thing, where you can put your feet in
Really warm!
And this guitar! *Wshoop!*
''Sick of lousing soulmates''..
''So where do we begin?'' That was wronggg
''-Finally see you're as fucked up as me''
''So how do we win''
''Yeah I'm sick of lousin-'' That was the wrong chord..
nEVERMIND
*Whoopahh!* And that was the guitar!
Now we don't talk about this corner- Here is my onesie!
It's a dragon..
It's really soft
But my dog likez- likes to bite in it so that's bad!
Here's my closet.. oh! hIIIIIII
We don't talk about my closet either, because it's..
It's really messy
Then.. my backpack..
This little pile of soft things, even though..
This thing isn't really soft
Then is this light..
Which is from my mother
Then I got this plant
Because I wanted a bit more green in my room!
So I got this thing!
Then I have these things from the concert
Which I don't know what to do with
And then moving on to my desk..
Whsoop!
Number two!
DIY let's go!
Blelelelehh
First thing you got to do..
Is peel the paper off the crayons
Then put them in the order that you want and glue them onto the canvas
Last thing that you have to do..
Is melt the crayons
This is a really fun part so that's why I'm..
Editing the whole video in it!
And that was it! Thanks sister for helping me :)
Whoop!
That was DIY two!
Now, we have some more..
Cool stuff in here
Take a look!
I'm working on this at the moment for something
Then I got these cute pots!
And look at this..
Isn't that adorable! *laughs*
Then I got this thing which is also very Tumblr
Then I got this!
Which contains all my art supplies!
We got pencils..
Which are in rainbow order because of my sister
Thenk u :3
This.. this..
This.. and-
I don't even know what this drawer is
Then we got this huge ass lamp
Which is quite handy for when it's dark
Then we got this thing with my favorite jacket
Yassss
Oh and this pin..
Which is from the KickThePJ shop
You should go and eh... buy it
Eh focus- oh
Yeah buy it- And then this huge ass poster
Which my mom.. bought me once I think?
5SOS shirt, I don't know why
This is the viewwww
Bleuhlululuhh
This is also a very messy corner

3rd: FINDING YOUR PATH | MY JOURNEY TO MILAN - Duration: 4:26.
hey my name is Castana and this is my
third episode from My Journey to Milan
I'm so glad you're here and let's start!
I'm sorry that I have this
voice, I have flu and also I'm in pain
because this teeth is moving. I had braces
two years ago and this one is moving
I have to do something about it and I'm
gonna do it but not today. It hurts...
Nowadays, every teenager is concerned about what
he's going to do next and
the reason why is that is really simple: we have
a lot more opportunities and jobs and
universities programmes we have to pick between.
Today, citizens from around the
world can work, volunteer or study abroad.
And I think that this is a
big step for Humanity because we're
helping each other and also for
developing small countries. Even so, for
youngsters is really hard to pick their path
because we have so much information to pick
between and we know that this is
how our life is going to be like
The thing is, you should just follow your dreams
If you don't know what your
dream is. If you're young and you don't really
have an idea of what you'd like to do
next just go and do volunteer work or internships.
Try to find some hobbies
because finding hobbies could lead to finding career.
For example, I'll pick me
I always knew that I'm good at writing. So, in the
eighth grade when i had my Romanian exam.
and I had to compose, I started my
blog and with my blog I wanted to practice
my writing skills but it wasn't something
for long period of time. It was just for my
eighth grade exam. Then I discovered I really
love to write on my blog. I would
love to do Journalism
I discovered Fashion, catwalks, designers
So what was my next stept because I knew
I love Fashion and Journalism
Didn't want to be a simple journalist talking
about news. I'm not good at painting or
drawing , so I couldn't be a Fashion Designer
I was really scared because I had these
things that I really love, but
There is Fashion journalism. I don't have to talk
about news, politics. I don't have to
talk about accidents. I just have to talk about
what I love the most. This is the best thing
I could to: talk about something I'm
passionate about and I would die for this!
I would do anything to get into
Istituto Maragnoni and get the
best of it. I just started with a
hobby. With two hobbies and I made it here.
I really love this! I just discovered what
I'm going to write on "My Dream"
OMG, thank you guys!
My conclusion is that
if you really love to do
something or you have a hobby, just
try to make it work. If you're a gamer, try to
make YouTube videos and try to go to
competitions. Even if you're just watching them.
Discover other people that
have the same hobby as you have!
Put yourself a target. Hm.. I don't know... I said I want
to be a Fashion Editor and I'm not gonna stop
until I'll be a Fashion Editor.
Do thing that can help you grow!
Not just say: "I can't do this!"
it's not easy but it's not that hard either
Do volunteer work and you'll
discover yourself, you will discover what
you like the most. think is so much you watch
Thank you so much you watched this!

Deconstructing Toad: How Captain Toad Treasure Tracker creates an epic Boss Fight without jumping. - Duration: 11:01.
Hello you lovely toad person, my name is ceave and welcome back.
Captain Toad Treasure Tracker is a really interesting game.
It's basically a mario game with a twist.
While mario games heavily rely on mario's impressive jumping skills, treasure tracker
needs to use other mechanics to create challenging and interesting gameplay, because toad's backpack
is so heavy that he isn't able to jump.
While Mario is able to jump to most places, even the smallest wall can be a challenging
puzzle to overcome for toad.
While mario can just defeat most enemies by jumping on top of them, toad needs to go for
a wittier approach.
And while Mario is able to ground pound most bosses into the floor toad has to, well how
does toad defeat a boss?
Captain Toad is a game about walking, moving the camera, avoiding combat and interacting
with things.
It's a game about limitations.
But how do you create an epic boss battle in a game that has no fighting, no jumping,
and in general not many mechanics other than walking?
There is a boss fight in the game which recurs three times, Draggadon.
And these three boss fights are a blast to play.
Treasure tracker creates an epic boss fight with almost no mechanics, but how are they
able to pull this off, which tricks do they use to create tension and danger without any
additional mechanics and is there something to learn for creating boss fights in mario
maker?
Well you're ready?
Let's find out!
(INTRO)
The boss fight I want to talk through in detail is the last Draggadon encounter in chapter
three.
We'll first take a look at the fight and then try to deconstruct how it's done.
The fight starts with the fire-snake blasting out of the lava.
Now toad has to react quickly as the dragon starts to shoot fireballs towards him immediately.
In the previous encounters toad was able to dodge the danger by hiding behind walls.
Here no natural safe spot is available for him, but luckily draggadon left these blocks
in the arena which toad can rise and lower by tapping them.
So the in the first part of the fight our mushroom has to make clever use of these blocks
in order to survive.
This door takes toad to a higher area in the stage and a self building platform is reintroduced
here.
Now toad has to go through this pipe and is shot to the other side of the arena, in an
epic way.
Here he has to solve a mini-puzzle using the moving blocks from before.
This time there are doors inside the blocks and our backpacker has to align them in such
a way that he doesn't fall into the lava.
Meanwhile the lava started to rise and toad has to be quick because mushrooms can't
exist in fire.
Luckily another pipe shoots him to a higher place once again.
Here another puzzle awaits toad, which is solved by moving the camera and then the last
part of the fight starts.
Suddenly fireballs are dropping from the ceiling and toad has to make his way on another self
building platform while dodging fireballs from above and shot by the dragon.
At the end of this platform the ladder awaits which takes him to the goal-star.
Or so he thought but as it turns out the fight has damaged the pillar on which the star awaits
toad, and this happens.
Hooray!
Toad made it through the fight, collected the star and knocked the dragon out!
So the boss is a chasing sequence.
Toad basically needs to make his way through the stage until he reaches the star at the
top of the vulcano.
There are three main dangers to his health which are introduced during the fight in three
stages.
The first third of the boss introduces Draggadon himself who constantly shoots fireballs towards
our brave mushroom.
The moment toad goes through this door the second threat kicks in.
Now toad not only has to dodge the magma balls, but the lava tide starts to rise as well and
he has to be faster than the lava or he'll take a lethal lava bath.
This basically adds a timer for toad to beat the stage.
The third major threat are the fireballs which start to drop from the ceiling in the last
third of the fight.
Toad now has to be faster than the lava, avoiding Draggadons fireballs and dodging the fire
from above.
So the fight escalates the further our mushroom progresses.
At first he is relatively safe, and allowed to understand the basic mechanics of this
boss fight until everything starts to escalate and leads to one final epic chase up this
ladder while the whole stage starts to collapse and toad makes it just in time.
So this are the basic threats the stage itself represents.
But there is obviously more to the stage.
Every element used in this boss battle is already established.
These shifting blocks have appeared in a couple of stages before, the green platforms have
been used before as well and it's our third encounter with Draggadon, so we already know
his behaviour as well.
Treasure tracker introduces something new in almost every level, but here they don't,
only already known mechanics are used.
This totally makes sense as this stage is constructed to be a rapidly escalating chase
through a volcano and there isn't really time to teach you new mechanics.
But not only are the elements already known to toad, the way in which they are used is
as well.
The boss fight in this stage is structured in the same way most levels in this game are.
There are the classic rotate the camera secrets with which this game is filled.
There are coins to collect and things to pluck out of the ground, there are additional challenges
for better players, there are the three hidden diamonds, there is the typical enemy dodging
which most threats in treasure tracker are built around and the stage even ends by collecting
a star like all non boss levels do as well.
Let's ignore the additional boss threats for a moment, because if we do, the gameplay
of this boss fight is almost similar to a lot of other toad stages.
Let's take stage 2-16 for comparison.
In this stage our mushroom has to solve small tap-puzzles with bullet blasters on top of
moving blocks.
He has to dodge the blasters, and the additional option to pluck stuff out of the ground or
to collect the three diamonds.
If we take a look at the actions toad performs in both stages we can see that they aren't
that different at all.
In fact the whole gameplay during the boss stage is structured in a similar way as stages
were before.
Just as a quick clarification I'm not trying to say that every captain toad stage is build
around exactly these gameplay actions.
Sometimes the stages are a single huge puzzle, sometimes you have to cleverly navigate clones,
sometimes they are all about exploring and sometimes you shoot carrots out of a minecart.
The point I'm trying to make is that the Bossfight is structured in a similar way compared
to already established stages.
But additionally to the standard gameplay the boss threats are added on top of it.
And this is where things become really interesting.
Let's talk about these additional threats in detail because they aren't as dangerous
as they may appear at first glance.
First let's take a look at the fireballs Draggadon shoots towards the player.
They are a real threat but they always appear on set moments and are heavily scripted.
There are only a few places in the level where they can actually hit you, but draggadon shoots
fire even if you are in a safe place.
If you just run from shelter to shelter they will never hit you.
If you get hit by them it's probably because you left your shelter too early or were too
greedy.
And there is a reason to be greedy or impatient in this stage.
The lava which tries to burn you.
Which leads us to our next threat: the rising lava.
There is a big design problem with the rising lava in combination with the fireballs.
Whenever draggadon spits, there is a timing window to reach the next area.
If you were to slow you have to wait for him to spit fire again until you are able to reach
the next part of the stage or you take a hit for sure.
But once the lava tide is rising this leads to a problem.
If a player missed a shot-cycle from the boss he has to wait, but while he waits the lava
can kill him.
In extreme cases this could lead to the decision whether toad wants to die by a shot from the
boss or by taking a lava bath (I'd take the lava-bath) but our mushroom is already
dead but still walking.
So how did the designers solve this problem?
Well, the rising lava is fake.
It can't hit you.
There are set triggers in the stage when the lava tide starts to rise, and then it rises
to a certain point and stops.
The big waves which go through the lava help to hide that it's actually not moving anymore
and if a player plays through the stage in a normal speed he probably won't notice
it because the triggers are set in really clever positions.
But we can wait here for hours and the lava wave won't hit us.
Period.
The concept behind this is called perceived danger, and a lot of games use something like
this.
The lava adds nothing gameplay-wise to the stage in theory, it could just as well not
be there and the boss fight would be exactly the same mechanically wise (vielleicht eher:
concerning the difficulty?).
But it changes the way toad and the player experience the stage.
It gives you a feeling of time pressure while there is none, it gives you the feeling you
could die if you missed a shot cycle and adds pressure, while it doesn't matter at all.
And it gives you the feeling of an escalating boss fight you barely survived while the level
is basically a standard stage, not a boss fight.
And then there is the third escalation stage in the fight, these fireballs which toad has
to dodge, and as you may have already guessed by now, they are mainly fake as well.
There are six fixed positions where they drop down.
Five of them are absolutely no danger to our adventurous mushroom and one always drops
in this position.
There could be no floor at this point and it would be the same stage.
But the fireballs add another piece of fake escalation to the boss fight, and make the
final chasing sequence up this staircase feel really epic.
And then there is one last small trick the game pulls to make this stage feel like a
real bossfight.
The final pillar breaks in a cutscene and drops on top of the boss knocking him out.
This gives toad the feeling that he defeated the boss.
That he on his own managed to beat this huge fire snake, while in fact he played a standard
stage which was spiced up with fake dangers and the platform on which the star waits collapsed
in a cutscene.
But it's really important that the platform knocks the boss out, because this defeats
the boss, instead of just escaping him.
It gives you the feeling of accomplishment and changes the feeling of the level from
a standard stage to feel like a heroic boss fight you just won.
I think good boss fights need to stay true to the core gameplay.
Captain toad treasure tracker is no game about fighting, it's a game about solving small
puzzles, dodging things, turning the camera and interacting with stuff.
And this boss fight stays true to this gameplay and doesn't try to transform the game into
something it is not, and I think that's the reason why this fight feels really great
and the tricks the designers added make it feel even more dangerous and epic.
Thanks for watching I hope you enjoyed this little video, if you enjoyed it don't forget
to leave me a thumbs up and maybe you feel especially draggadon today and want to hit
the subscribe button as well.
The next video might take a little bit longer as usual, but I hope you have a wonderful

Things that slows down your PC Take control Part 5 Email's Fraud PayPal Tutorial - Duration: 5:20.
Welcome to the fifth part of my tutorial.
I would like to suggest watching this video from the beginning until the very end.
When finished, if you still have some questions please, use only the YouTube's message board
right below this video.
My name is Nicola Scanni.
With a degree in Multimedia and a passion for technology, I have a tendency to pass
along my knowledge in a very simple way.
In Part 1 of this tutorial, you learned how to get rid of Cookies that may create a virus
threat on your pc.
In Part 2, you learned how to limit all those programs that run at Startup and how to uninstall
those we don't need.
In Part 3, you learned how to remove every trace of uninstalled programs and how to clean
up your C drive.
In Part 4, you learned how to protect your privacy.
In Part 5, today you will learn how to recognize spoof, phishing basically fake emails that
could lead to a Bank account fraud.
For this tutorial I will be using Outlook Express by Microsoft, however, it doesn't
really matter if you check your email using other applications like Gmail or Yahoo, the
principle is still the same.
I will show you three email's examples from Easy to difficult.
1) Easy: The other day I opened my email and I received this email ...apparently from PayPal.
As you may see it looks legit since there is their Logo which I recognized since I have
an account with them, like probably many of you have it as well.
The problem is that, it is very easy for anyone to simply visit any Company or Banks website
and, just copy their Logo and paste it on to an email.
Here I have just typed PayPal on Google and here I found their Logo.
OK, let us get back.
On this particular email, it is very easy to understand that it is a fraud.
The sender is Pay-pal <soichiro.ohba@kodensha.com> a legit email from PayPal should have their
name after the @ sign.
If we continue to read the email the Sender's email is totally different that the one on
the top and, in addition when I just hoover passing my mouse on the link without clicking
a setup-verify-support link appears and as I just said, if it does not have a PayPal
name it is certainly a scam.
2) Medium: This one, besides the Logo, have an apparently legit Sender's name <service@paypal.co.uk>.
However, when again we try to hoover, we discover that the link is an HTTP and not an HTTPS.
The S at the end stands for Secure and it is commonly used for Secure Transaction and
on top of that the link is bkamodas.com and it does not contain the name PayPal and therefore
is a scam.
3) Difficult: This one is the best I found so far.
I live in Denmark and when I receive a PayPal notice in English, I automatically know it
is a scam.
Well, this one is in Danish, the sender's name has the name PayPal in it, It calls me
with my real name and it even warns me about fake emails assuring that they are the only
legit PayPal since they have my First and Last Name providing me with a link just in
case.
However, I still have one more security step I want to make which is, the hoover ...and
wow, they must be real, they even have a link with their name on it and, the length of the
link is very long and I know that is what the banks usually do to keep they private
link difficult to guess.
How can I possibly have doubts now?
Well ...let us memorize the last four digits of the link and check all the other links.
Look at that!
No matter which link we hoover the link is still the same.
There is no-way that a legit PayPal has the same link for different purposes ...therefore
even this one is a scam.
The scam works as follows: You click this fake link and you will visit a page where
you will be asked for your PayPal email, password basically all your sensitive and private info.
Once they have it all, they will be able to login to your real PayPal's account and drain
your finances.
There are many other ways to scam via email and of course, I cannot explain them all in
this tutorial.
However, if you need to dig deeper or just want to be aware of other types of this kind
of scam, just read the description and you will find the wikihow's link with many other
useful information.
This Part 5 is the last of my series.
I sincerely hope it was helpful.

"BUS" Doesn't mean anything!! - Duration: 2:49.
Did you know that the word "bus" doesn't mean anything?
Let's find out why!
Hello, my name is Proudly Non-native.
In this channel, I will be talking about mind-blowing facts about the English Language.
So I know what you are thinking.
"Bus" is a perfectly meaningful word.
The Oxford American Dictionary says, it's "a large motor vehicle carrying passengers
by road, especially one serving the public on a fixed route and for a fare".
Yes, you're right.
But there really is a precise sense in which this word is void of meaning.
The word "bus" derived from the Latin word "omnibus".
Its root is "omni", meaning "all".
You may recognize it in some English words, like "omnipotent" for an entity with all sorts
of powers or "omnivore" for a person or an animal that eats all sorts of foods.
So what does the "bus" part mean?
Well, it's only a case ending, meaning "for" and marking it plural.
So if you strip away the "omni" part and only leave the "bus" part, what's left is "for"
and plurality!
In that it's only a grammatical ending, it is no more meaningful than, say, "est" at
the end of "tallest" or "ed" at the end of "played".
So next time you take a bus and it's painstakingly crowded, why not remind yourself of the fact
that at least the word "bus" is rather empty of meaning?
That's it for today's video.
Do you want more videos like this?
Then please share, comment, like and subscribe!
Now it's time to say goodbye.
This was your host, now feeling a bit more proudly non-native.
Bye guys!
