Imagine if there were an alternative to smoking cigarettes.

Imagine this alternative could help millions of people quit smoking and came with only

a fraction of the harmful chemicals that cigarettes do.

Well, you don't have to imagine it.

It exists.

E-cigarettes are the most innovative and promising smoking-cessation product yet invented.

So, public health officials and anti-tobacco activists are all in favor of this

life-saving innovation, right?

Actually, they're almost all totally against it.

Why?

Because, incredibly, they make no substantial distinction between e-cigarettes and real

cigarettes -- even though they are completely different products.

To begin with, e-cigarettes aren't cigarettes.

They contain no tobacco.

Instead, a liquid containing nicotine derived from tobacco leaves is vaporized,

and users of e-cigarettes inhale that vapor.

Vapor, mind-you – not smoke.

This is significant because the real harm from tobacco comes from the combustion process,

which releases hundreds of toxic compounds known as tar.

Since e-cigarettes have no tobacco and no combustion, they release no tar.

This makes them, according to Britain's Department of Health, at least 95% less harmful

than tobacco cigarettes.

E-cigarettes do contain nicotine, an addictive drug.

However, there is little evidence that nicotine alone is bad for you, making it similar to, say,

caffeine -- a drug used every day by millions of people.

Brad Rodu, an oral cancer specialist at the University of Louisville, put it this way:

"I love coffee, and I'm sure I could get caffeine if I smoked my coffee beans…

but I would be paying a much different price in overall health [if I did]."

In other words, when it comes to addictive substances like caffeine or nicotine,

it isn't the addictive substance that's harmful; it's how it's delivered.

As South African psychiatrist Mike Russell said about cigarettes: "[People] smoke for

[the] nicotine, but they die from the tar."

And again, there's no tar in e-cigarettes.

Does this all mean e-cigarettes are completely safe?

Of course not. Nothing is completely safe.

E-cigarettes are a relatively new innovation so more research is needed,

especially on long-term effects.

There's also a place for sensible regulation to ensure consumer safety.

But unlike normal everyday products, any potential risk posed by e-cigarettes is far outweighed

by a real – not potential – good: saving lives by providing the nicotine that smokers

enjoy without delivering the deadly toxins that can kill them.

Many former smokers have successfully used e-cigarettes to help them

kick their nicotine addiction altogether.

A recent study in an Oxford Journal peer-reviewed publication, Nicotine and Tobacco Research,

said that e-cigarettes could reduce smoking-related deaths by 21 percent.

That's thousands of lives every year.

John Britton, an epidemiologist and director of the University of Nottingham's Center

for Tobacco and Alcohol Studies, is even more optimistic:

"[E-cigarettes are] the first genuinely new way of helping people stop smoking that

has come along in decades…[They] have the potential to help half or more of all smokers

get off cigarettes."

So, again, you'd think public health officials and anti-tobacco groups would be doing everything

they could to encourage smokers to switch to e-cigarettes.

Instead, they push for laws and rules that equate the two products: cigarettes are bad,

so e-cigarettes must also be bad.

As of August 2016, the US Food and Drug Administration has ruled that all e-cigarettes must go through

a long and expensive application process.

This process could end up costing as much as $1 million per new product.

While some of the biggest manufacturers will be able to shoulder the costs and navigate

the regulatory mess, most small e-cigarette companies will be forced out of business.

With less competition, e-cigarettes will become more expensive, and many people

will go right back to smoking.

E-cigarette prohibitionists may think they're using a "better-safe-than-sorry" approach

to save consumers from some yet-to-be-discovered danger, but they're not.

They're actually endangering millions of smokers who would make the switch if the e-cigarette

market were allowed to flourish.

As Joe Nocera, a New York Times columnist, wrote:

"Equating smoking cigarettes with inhaling e-cigarettes...is a huge disservice to public health.

On the scale of potential harms, e-cigarettes aren't even in the same ballpark

as combustible cigarettes.

They have the potential to save millions of lives."

The government needs to develop a new paradigm for dealing with e-cigarettes – one that ensures

basic standards but recognizes their relative safety and immense benefit to public health.

If they don't, more people will die.

Mother's Day Card - Duration: 2:54.

Now we're going to make a super cute little Mother's Day card.

So, I'll start with my Mini Bowdabra.

I'm going to fold my Bowdabra Bow Wire in half and just lay that into the Mini Bowdabra

and just kind of tuck the ends underneath.

Then what I'm going to do is take a little chenille stem or pipe cleaner that I cut and

lay that, because that's going to be -- of my flower, that's the stem.

So, then I'm going to take this really pretty wired ribbon, and I'm going to scrunch this

in.

And I needed to use wired ribbon for this because I wanted to be able to shape so it

looks like a really pretty little flower when I'm done.

So, we're just going to scrunch this down in here

and I'm going to just scrunch everything down with my Bowdabra wand and turn.

Then I'm going to pull the two ends through my slipknot, hold my bow down, pull it really,

really tight.

Take it out of the Bowdabra, seperate the ends and then bring them around to the back.

And I'm just going to tie a knot.

And then I'm just going to kind of twist it maybe about three times so I know it will

stay together.

Then I'm going to cut it here.

That's what I love about the Bowdabra Bow Wire.

Now I'm just going to fluff my little bow, and then I'm going to take my Mother's Day

card, and I've already written "I Love You Mom."

And we're just going to glue the flower.

So, what I'll do is I'll just put a strip of glue on the back of my flower and I'm going

to put it diagonally onto my card.

And you have a really cute Mother's Day card.

have gone so fast

took my trip through college and I made some

for dinner I'm gonna miss you when I'm

them with scissor, the shape should be

perfectly cut you have four round shape

with 11 centimeter. Take a round shape

felt, fold it into half and cut with

scissor,r this way

now take this felt fold it into half cut

this way repeat it for all the remaining

felt this way so now you have three five

eight petals with you let's start with

three petals take the needle and thread

and make a straight sew at the outer

side this way continue to see you with

the second petal this way repeat with

the third petal

now slowly pull the thread this way and

see it again and make the shape

Hope your having an amazing day So three ways to a better commmunicator,

it's a question I get asked alot.

Now when it comes to being a better communicator, it's all about going back to the basics,

going back to the fundamentals.

The first thing you want to do is to make sure you're truly listening,

alot of the time when we're talking to people, we are not truly listening.

We are only listening to respond, listening to reply.

We're not listening to understand.

Think about it, when you're talking to someone, are you actually listening to what they're

saying, or are you thinking about what you're going

to say next.

Instead, I want you to be attentive, I want you to be present in the moment, I want you

to truly listen to what they have to say.

Number 2 is be authentic, express yourself because at times we do this thing where we

hold back because we want to fit in with people, becuase we want to be politically correct,

and because we want to be acceoted.

So we put on this persona, this fake kind of personality and we hold back.

Instead I want you to be you, be yourself because people are going to love you for who

you are.

They are going to love yoiu for being so unique, they are going to love you for your authenticity.

And finally number three is, you have to learn to be open minded.

You have to learn to respect other peoples perspectives, because in reality there are

more than 7billion people in the world, so its more than likely that you are going to

run into people in life that you don't agree with,

people that share a different perspective and a different opinion to you.

Now instead of saying no and putting up a wall, I want you to take a moment, I want

you to try and listen, try to understand and view things from their perspective, try and

view it from their viewpoint.

So the next time you're talking to someone, the next time youre talking to a friend, talking

to a colleague, I want you to try and truly listen.

Listen to understand, don't listen to respond.

and be authentic, dont be afraid to express yourself.

Practice being open-minded, try to view things from other peoples perspectives.

Hello friends welcome to "Madras Samayal"

Today we are going to make Eggless Rava Cake

This recipe is quite simple and very easy to make

Before preparing the batter lets preheat the oven

350 F / 175 C

We can also make this cake in pressure cooker.

Now lets make the batter for our cake.

1/2 cup melted butter (100g)

1 cup Sugar

Mix well.

1/2 cup yogurt (lump free)

1 cup Milk

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Mix until well combined .

Next lets add the dry ingredients.

1.5 cup Rava / Sooji / Semolina

1/2 cup Maida (All purpose flour)

1 tsp Baking powder

1/2 tsp Baking Soda

1/2 tsp Salt

Mix all the ingredients well.

Now lets add the wet Ingredients.

Mix well without any lumps

Next I am going to add some nuts and tutti frutti

It adds nice taste to the recipe.

1/2 cup nuts (Almonds, Cashews, pistachios)

1 cup Tutti Frutti

Mix well.

Now lets transfer the batter to a baking pan.

I have here an 8 inch Baking pan

greased with butter and lined with parchment paper

Bake it for 45 - 50 min @ 350 F

After 45 min check by inserting a tooth pick

If it comes out clean we are good to go, otherwise increase the cooking Time.

In Cooker it takes litte longer - 55 to 60 min on medium.

Now exactly after 45 min our cake is out of the Oven.

That's it our Rava cake is ready to be served.

How can you fix LUA MEMORY ERRORS in the Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) - Duration: 2:46.

Hello everyone, my name is Tianlein and today we will talk

about how you can fix LUA Memory Errors in the Elder Scrolls Online

If you have some Addons installed it can happen that you get following Error Message:

Lua is reaching its memory limit

You should consider disabling some addons and reloading the UI

This Lua Memory Error is nothing serious but it can be quite annoying

The reason for this Error is that ESO provides only 64 MB Lua memory for Addons

To fix this problem we have to increase the Lua Memory limit

Execute this action only when your game is closed

First go to your documents, then to the folder Elder Scrolls Online, then to the folder live,

and then you have to open UserSettings

Here you have to search LuaMemoryLimitMB

The fastest way to find this is to use the search with controll + F

As mentiond before the default MemoryLimit is 64MB

You can now increase the memory limit to 128,256,512,1024 or 2048

How much Lua your game needs depends on the Addons you have installed

And how much LuaMemory you can set depends on how much RAM your PC has

I would increase the LuaMemoryLimit slowly and see which number is best for you

If you use Master Merchant and some other bigger Addons you should maybe try to go with

512 and test if thats fine for you.

If you changed the LuaMemoryLimit dont`t forget to save the change

If you dont want to change LuaMemory Limit manually you can use the Addon Shissu`s Lua Memory

If you set this Addon on auto mode with the

command /slm auto, it will adjust automatically the LuaMemorySize to your needs

With the same command you can deactivate the automatic mode

With the command /slm and the Memorysize you want for example /slm 512

you will change to LuaMemoryLimit to 512 MB

To check how much Memory you are currently using you can use the command /slm need

Additionally Shissu`s Lua Memory also includes the Shissu`s SuiteManager, faster LoadingScreen,

Memory Clear Button and Faster Ingame Mail
