it's such a blessing to be able to

represent my state and a place that I

call home it actually took me eight

years to win my state title and I

wouldn't be here competing at Miss USA

if I had ever given up on my dreams I

currently work in real estate and when

I'm not selling real estate in the

evenings I work as a fitness instructor

I love being able to help people reach

their goals it's an amazing job so after

making my own healthy lifestyle changes

I had a ton of people asking me

questions what can I do that you're

I honestly had no idea if anyone would

read it it's called sparkling from the

I grew up in Stratham New Hampshire it's

a small town one of the things that I

loved about it was that I was so close

to the beach but within an hour away

from the mountains as well

I didn't face too many struggles growing

up I was diagnosed with multiple

autoimmune diseases one was alopecia

which causes unexpected hair loss they

also have vitiligo which causes decrease

in pigmentation in your skin

as I grew up that's when these diseases started to

impact me more I started to lose a

little bit of confidence in myself

because I felt different and now I just

know that it's something that is a part

of who I am it makes me a little bit

different but it doesn't make me less

worthy I think that it would be really

great to show as Miss USA you know you

don't have to be absolutely perfect in

every way your imperfections are what

makes you actually beautiful

Meet Miss Vermont USA 2017 Madison Trimbey Cota - Duration: 0:57.

I grew up in the small town of Bellows

Falls Vermont population about 3,000

people I love it because it's such a

strong community feeling and everyone looks out

for each other I started playing

basketball in the 6th grade I am

captain of an NCAA Division three

women's basketball team athletics are so

important to me it's the perfect outlet

to get out my aggression to have a goal

to work towards I compete in pageants to

be a better person

it helps me live a healthy lifestyle it

helps to be involved in my community

and I feel like I'm really making a

difference winning Miss USA would be an

opportunity to inspire other women

across the nation that they can be

anything that they want to regardless of

where they come from I come from such a

small town in Vermont but I'm here I'm

at Miss USA and I can achieve anything and so can you.

As a kid I was very shy and if you ask anyone who grew up with me or went to school with me they would say the same thing

Modeling really helped with that because I had to put my self out there and I had to be in situations where I was meeting new people and meeting new clients

and working for different companies so I was forced to be outgoing and to grow my personality through that career

Modeling you have to just give it your all and you have to know that your not always going to be told yes

and you might be told no multiple times but you have to keep coming back

and I definitely think it helps teach you perseverance and it teaches you to have a thick skin

which in life is really important.

I couldn't stand going to school I would

wait for my mom to leave the house and

then I'd run off the bus and go straight

home I was the girl that got her lunch

girl that was being tripped I was the

girl that was being hit I was the girl

that was being made fun of it really affected me

art helped me

people don't realize how therapeutic art music

dancing really is and I go to school now

at Delta State for art education and I

think I'm going to go onto the field of

art therapy and actually help somebody else

there has never been a Miss USA

from Delaware and that would change

my life tremendously would open up so

many doors for me to advocate my

platform depression awareness

also be that role model for everyone

violin in second grade and when I came

to Hawaii when I didn't speak English music was

a way for me to communicate with people

my whole family lives in Taiwan and I'm

the only one living in Hawaii and it's

very exciting because for this pageant

they'll all be flying to Vegas to see me compete.

tight-knit farming community when I say

I actually never grew up thinking I'd be in a

pageant if you would ask me three years

ago I would have never seen this for

myself I've always been involved in

community service and performance and

mentorship and so it just made sense and

so I gave it a try and I absolutely

loved it I found so many goal-oriented

driven women and it's just been such an

incredible sisterhood so glad to be a

part of it

learning lessons that hopefully they'll

use it in the future and that is why I

want to continue coaching and become a

Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease

two years ago I walked into a doctor's office

and I didn't walk out the doctor

was sitting right in front of me and sat

down on the hospital bed said we don't

think he will ever walk again

and at that moment in time I had to pick

between two choices to be positive about

it and say watch me learn or to sit

there and cry and I decided to be

determined and to learn how to walk

again

through or what any other diabetics type

1 or type 2 have to go through you know

what you just have to live with it you

have to embrace it you have to embrace

what you have it doesn't define you it

doesn't define who you are as a person

I think it's so important that each

individual has somebody to look up to

somebody that knows that your

circumstances do not define who you are.

Learn to FORGIVE through the WORST situations - Duration: 5:48.

In todays society forgiveness is one of the hardest things that we face.

What does it mean to forgive?

stop being angry or resentful toward (someone) for an offense, flaw, or mistake.

So its been five years and I've realized I have never truly forgiven the person that

put me in this position.

I mean I've let it go but deep down inside I still never forgave him.

If you think about my situation I was shot by someone I had never seen or spoke to a

day in my life.

As i laid on that ground all I could do was ask God WHY ME?

WHY ME?

Why take me away from my two year old daughter whom I haven't even been a father to yet?

Why take me away from this life that I had just begin living?

The thought of WHY ME penetrated my Heart and my Soul DEEP.

It put me through depression, questions, even I contemplated suicide many times.

It wasn't just once it was over and over and over again.

Because who I was I couldn't accept what I was now or who I was now.

I couldn't accept this.

Overtime I've overcome so many so many obstacles that I truly realized that I could not be a positive man if

I had hate deep down inside.

If you asked me yesterday what would I do if I seen the man that shot me, I would pause

complete silence.

Because I never really thought of seeing him again.

But I know that day will come and the way I react to that day could go against everything

that I stand for now, because I never forgave him.

I never thought of forgiving instead I just let it go.

Letting go is not forgiving Today I can say YOU ARE FORGIVEN and if you ask me today how

would I act when I see him?

I would tell you I would say thank you and give him a hug.

Thank you for making me a better man, thank you for making me a better father, thank you

for giving me life when your intentions were to take my life.

Thank you for giving me a PURPOSE.

I know now that I'm free and regardless what I go through in life I now know how to forgive.

Sometimes we hold grudges for the smallest things and it ruins relationships for a life

time.

This wasn't small it ate me alive.

I went through all the motions of a mental breakdown, I was alone and didn't know what

my daughter would think of me.

the universe spoke to me and I listened.

That man was suppose to do that, he was suppose to put me in this position.

Who I am today I was not five years ago, who I am today I probably wouldn't have been if

I didn't go through the struggles that I endured from this gun shot wound.

So why would I have any hate when all I see is blessings.

I just want to tell that man YOU ARE FORGIVEN and THANK YOU.

When things happen to us we always look at the negative side and if when we act like

were over it do we truly forgive?

look deep down at the blessings that your struggle has given you instead hold no

grudge.

Give back and let them know how they Saved you not how they Changed you

Sweet SPRING Makeup ♡ - Duration: 8:27.

I'm back with another makeup video

This is the Spring look that I used in Facts About Me video

If you haven't seen this video I'll leave a card

A lot of you requested Summer makeup but to be honest this is the makeup that I used in my Summer Lookbook video

This peachy glowy makeup centered around cute pink lipstick gives your face a sweet and natural look

Which is essentially what I have been doing everyday of spring

I made this video to share how I did this makeup

It's not really a makeup tutorial because let's be honest I'm not professional makeup artist

So I'm wearing Lovisa earrings, Topshop necklace, Forever 21 floral top

And this cute embroidered kimono cardigan from Miss Selfridge

So here's my bare face

First I'll moisturize my lips

I'm using The Body Shop's Shea lip butter

Ever since I've used this babe my lips became so moisturized and soft

I'm using Hangover primer from Too Faced

This primer is sooo hydrating, it keeps your skin well moisturized under the makeup

and keeps your foundation lasting

Love it because it smells of coconut too!

I'm using this cushion from Innisfree, it goes with pretty case and puff

but today I'm using a Beauty Blender instead

I'm using a Water Fit cushion, which keeps my skin hydrated while wearing it

I have a normal-to-dry type of skin, so I avoid getting my skin dry from makeup

Then I'm using this concealer from Smashbox to cover my under-eyes

and blend the rest on dark skin areas

My skin looks nicer now, but my face looks huge without contour lol

I'm using this contour kit from Anastasia

It's my favorite contour kit but I've been traveling around with it so the box kinda looks disgusting...

I'll highlight the parts that I want to look glowy

Then I'll use darker shade on areas that I want to look smaller

The foundation looks okay now, but it's so scary without the brows!

To draw my brows I'm using Brow Zings from Benefit

There are two parts in here, the wax is used to draw the shape and the powder is to fill in

Some of you wanted to know how I did my eyebrows, so here you go~

Now I'm using Gimme Brow from Benefit to mascara my brows

I concentrate on the front part of my brows

And use normal brow brush to blend it out a little

Put some of the concealer on the pointed part of Beauty Blender to cover around the brows

This makes the brows stand out

Almost pretty~

Moving on the eyeshadow I'm using this super adorable Sweet Peach eye palette from Benefit

It's also super duper cute on the inside

And smells of peach~

First layer I'm using Luscious

Then I mix Just Peachy and Candied Peach on the outer corner of my eyes

Use a clean brush to blend it out

And drag some of it down to the underline of my eyes

I use the brightest colour of the palette under my brows

I'm using Nectar on the inner corner of my eyes, letting them shine bright

I'm using this peachy pink 3-tone blush from Benefit

Sucking in my cheeks helps me apply my blush better

I use this Lash Sensational from Maybelline for my eyelashes

Like I said before, I don't know how to use lash curler so I'm just leaving them like this

I'm brushing them twice, but concentrating only on the front part the second time

Before applying lipstick I'll use another layer of this lip butter

Then I'll use this Sweet Peach creamy lip gloss from Too Faced

This lipstick looks super barbie~ and also smells of peach

I'm using NYX soft matte lip cream on the inner parts of my lips

I love to do this lip because I think it really suits my face hehe~

Okie so that's how I do this spring makeup

Because it's a glowy and natural look you can wear it basically ANYTIME!

Today, we traveled from Cape Town to Johannesburg.

From Johannesburg to Sao Paulo - that's where we are at right now.

We have a short layover here.

Then we fly 4 more hours to Santiago where we'll start our South American trip.

This time we're picked up without any problems - well done, first point for Chile

This is our pool for the next 5 days.

Well, we've finally arrived in South America after travelling for a really long time yesterday.

We're now in Santiago de Chile.

Exactly… and it's a bit adventurous because nobody speaks English.

Maybe we'll take some Spanish classes in order to be able to communicate a little bit more.

But we also learn a lot and with some effort and pointing at stuff, we do get along.

We thought: „let's try the local cuisine" and that's the reason why we're heading out to get some…

Sushi

So we're back from eating "delicious" Sushi. Mirko, how was it?

Cheesy, very cheesy.

Well, it was really hard to find a sushi restaurant to start with...

Because, the first place where we originally wanted to go to was closed down.

There was no Sushi restaurant.

Exactly.

And then we thought let's try some Spanish food [Mirko meant Chilean]

And then we went to two Spanish restaurants [Chilean]

And the answer to our question „Can you speak English?"

NO!

In one of the restaurants, we asked whether they had an English menu and the bartender had to go to an adjacent room..

No in the basement..

or to the basement and found deep down below an old dusty English menu

It's so crazy here… you cannot imagine.. really

Well, whatever.. we're heading back to our room now.

Jenkins Tutorial - Changing Jenkins Port to 80 - Duration: 4:31.

Jenkins port 80 instead of using 8080

and specified in the URL so let us start
