Youtube daily report Dec 7 2017

Hi everybody I am Andy and today we are going to learn how to make

a dish that i love, that is lentils with rice

for all my egg allergics <3

The first thing we have to do

is to put the lentils in water over night

they will absorb water

in a pressure cooker

we are going to grate the pumpkin

is the same pumpkin that we use in the Sopaipillas video

When we have it all grated, should look like this

After this, we are going to add some things to make it flavor full

Lentils are very plane when it come to taste

We are going to add a green onion

First we have to remove the first layer of the green onion and then wash it

A little bit of red bell pepper

and a garlic clove

We are going to throw away the water from the lentils

And we are going to wash them a little,

because all the legumes that are dry, may have dirt or some other stuff that we don't want to eat

And we are going to add the lentils to the pressure cooker

I like the lentils with rice to be dense, i don't like the lentils soup, i like it with a lot of lentils :P

if you like more water in your lentils, you can add less lentils and more water

We are going to fill the pressure cooker with cold water

two fingers over the end of the lentils

and we are going to put it to the fire

you are going to hear this sound

but they are not ready

when you hear this sound

you are going to turn down your heat, to medium low heat

and you are going to count 15 minutes

After the 15 minutes, and this is VERY IMPORTANT

DO NOT REMOVE THE POT VALVE

UNTIL YOU LET OUT ALL THE WATER VAPOR LITTLE AT A TIME

The cooker is called pressure cooker because it works with pressured water vapor

If you don't follow this instructions, your pot may explode and you will get burn, so BE SAFE!

After letting all the water vapor out, you can take out the valve and open the pot

And we are going to take out all our flavor vegetables

red bell pepper, green onion and garlic

now if you want to eat those things, is good too

Now we are going to add one cup of rice (or less if you like it more like a soup)

and then we are going to mix this

After this, we are going to put the lid on and the valve on

to the fire again, 10 more minutes after the sound begins

For making them even more flavor we are going to chop some onions

We need to cut them in cubes

And we are going to put the onion to the heat with a little bit of oil

After the ten minutes, we have to do the same again, let the water vapor out slowly

It has to be slowly, WE DON'T WANT PEOPLE TO GET HURT FOR DOING THIS THE WRONG WAY PLEASE :)

Meanwhile, we are going to add some things to the onions

First we are going to add some paprika

it could seem that i'm adding a lot, but is to cover all the lentils in the pot

We add some dried oregano, some sugar

and salt

After we let the vapor out very slowly, we can take the valve out

we can open the lid

and now the rice is cooked

(it takes 10 minutes in a pressure cooker to make rice)

We are going to mix a little

After we mixed well this, we are going to add the onions

This is going to make the lentils a lot more flavored than before

With this you avoid to add

some meat, or fried egg (not for the allergics :P)

sausage or other stuff

anything that doesn't add any nutritional element to our lentils

Finally we correct the salt

and we mix

This is a very healthy dish

You can eat 1 cup of this lentils with rice, and it has a lot of fiber in it

I wish that you like the video, and have a great day!

Talking Tom and Friends - Bye, Bye, Bongo! | Season 2 Episode 19 - Duration: 11:02.

No!

No, no, no!

Hank, is everything all right?

No, Tom. Everything is not all right. Something very, very bad has happened.

[sighs] I'll get the heavy-duty plunger.

Ooh, we can't plunge our way out of this one.

My favorite TV show, Bongo & McGillicuddy, is ending. Cancelled. Forever!

Oh. It's okay, Hank. There are plenty of other shows out there.

Not shows I care about so much

that I'd write an entire unauthorized fan guide about 'em.

Wow! Very thorough.

I wish there was a way I could go right into the TV

and convince Bongo and McGillicuddy not to retire.

Please don't retire!

Well, now that you mention it, that might just be possible.

Yeah! Yeah! Wa-hoo!

With technology, Hank. I meant with technology.

Sweet jump, though. You got some serious air.

♪ Wa-oah! ♪

[Ben] I call this the Screen Door,

because it turns TV screens into interdimensional doors, get it?

Yes! I can go into the TV and convince Bongo and McGillicuddy

to keep on being loose-cannon cops.

-Wait, that sounds dangerous. -Oh!

It's very dangerous,

because it could leave Hank stranded inside the TV - or even worse!

So that means don't use it.

Not until we do a full week of testing and another week of result-looking.

[sighs] Okay, safety first, I guess.

-Hey, is that a computer thing? -A computer thing? Where?

[toothbrush whirrs] [Hank] Oh.

All right, Bongo and McGillicuddy, let's get back to HQ. We've hit a dead end.

I just have one final question.

If this really is an "electric toothbrush",

why are your teeth so much more yellow

than in your appearances in season four, six and 15?

Agh!

Wouldn't someone with an electric toothbrush have a brighter smile?

-Don't let him get away! -No!

-A-ha! -Wait a minute.

You knew that toothbrush was a TV transporter the whole time?

Wow! Incredible police work!

How did you notice the tint of my teeth?

Because I'm a loose cannon who plays by my own rules!

And you're also the writer of the Unofficial Bongo & McGillicuddy Fan Guide.

Or should I say... official?

At least I'm being sent back to jail by the best.

Bongo, McGillicuddy, you could really learn something from this guy.

I'll be the judge of that!

Hank, you can actually stop with the "good cop, bad cop" thing.

-We've solved the crime. -Haha! Woo!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, but we couldn't have done it without Hank.

Or should I say... Honorary Detective Hank?

Wow! I don't know what to say. This is all I've ever wanted.

Bongo! McGillicuddy! You gave a beloved TV star illegal access to police material

I should take your badges...

and polish them and then give them back to you, because you got results.

Chief, that's good to hear,

That's not how it works. You just hit the red button.

Oh. I knew that!

Wait, Hank! You forgot your badge!

[groans] What happened? Am I home?

Of course you're home.

You just dove into the TV and knocked yourself out for, like, nine minutes.

But I was just in the TV. Bongo was there.

And McGillicuddy was there.

You must have dreamt all that when you hit your head.

Oh, really? Then how do you explain this honorary detective badge I got?

[laughter]

-What? -I'm glad you're home, buddy.

[clank] Huh? Ooh.

[chuckles]

Thank you, Bongo and McGillicuddy.

Tour GRATIS por NUEVA DELHI - Duration: 11:07.

Have you ever dreamt of making a very long trip?

We did! And now this dream is coming true. 6 months through Asia.

First stop, New Delhi. Come with us!

It's already our second day in New Delhi and you're probably wondering what happened to the first day.

Well yesterday we arrived in the morning, we went to the hostel to rest for a bit,

because we had spent the night on the plain and we were really tired.

And in the afternoon we went out on a tour with the people from the hostel.

This tour was incredible.

We went to a Sikh temple called Bangla Sahib Gurudwara.

Sikhism is a fairly new religion, it is like 500 years old.

The particular thing about this temple is that they receive about 7000 people a day,

that they feed free of charge.

Apart from that, we went into the kitchen to prepare the typical Naan.

So if you ever come to India, we recommend you to visit a Sikh temple at least once,

because it's something really special.

It had a great impact on my, because the solidarity is so immense.

It's was incredible seeing this. Truly an unforgettable experience.

In Sikh temples you have to take of your shoes and cover your head.

Our first breakfast in India.

Because we still don't know a lot about the dishes, we asked for the waiters recommendation,

and he recommended us something called Tava Idli.

I honestly have no idea about what this is, but one thing I do know is that it's spicy.

And if there is something we like, it's spicy food.

We also ordered a Pizza Uttapam. It look really delicious.

We are now in the Red Fort, a must-see in New Delhi.

It's complex of various palaces that owes it's name to the red color of its wall and some of the buildings.

It seems that the squirrels like Belgian candy.

Another tour with the people from the hostel.

Now we came to Lodhi Garden, which is a beautiful garden with some ruins.

We will show you some images.

Time to eat. And we will obviously eat some typical Indian food.

I ordered a Dosa, which is some kind of pancake with some preparation inside.

And I also ordered a drink called Lassi, which is a drink made with yoghurt.

This is supposed to be the most famous drink in India. It's really delicious.

I am full! This food was delicous!

Me too! And after this I have a completely different opinion about Indian food.

It's delicious!

Don't forget to come to this place. It's a really good restaurant.

Situated in a more fancy neighbourhood of New Delhi.

But it's not expensive at all, so you will definitely enjoy it.

Yes, when you come to India, don't go to McDonalds or Pizza Hut or some place of that kind.

Come to the real authentic restaurants.

That said, we say goodbye for tonight and we see each other again tomorrow, for another day in New Delhi.

We started the day with a bit of adrenaline.

I left my keys inside my drawer so I couldn't get to my stuff.

But someone came to my rescue.

We are going to visit the Hindu temple of Akshardham. It's close to our hostel.

It's a fairly new temple, about 10 years old and they have told us that it's a very beautiful temple.

Unfortunately we can not enter with cameras so we will simply make some mental photos,

and if you want to know a bit more about this temple, we will tell you later.

We just returned from Akshardham and it's a truly incredible place.

It's really worth visiting.

This place is absolutely stunning. It is really worth the visit.

It's definitely a place you have to visit before dying. It's the most beautiful place our eyes have seen until now.

We came to Old Delhi and it's an absolute chaos here. But it has its charm. It's great!

We are going try Delhi's best Lassi.

I ordered the Rose Badam. It's made with rose fragrance and yoghurt.

A typical drink from India.

We are now on the secret rooftop of the Spice Market.

The smell of red chili simply enters your nose.

And you spontaneously start coughing.

There is no resisting it. It's incredible!

When I arrived on this rooftoop, the first thing I thought was:

this smells like when my mum is preparing something with chili.

This is called Paan.

It is something to refreshen your mouth.

Your obviously have to put it in your mouth, you shew it and then you spit it out.

Or you can also swallow it. Let's try it!

Hi, goodmorning! Day 4 in Delhi.

And welcome to Qutub Minar.

New Delhi is a really interesting place because here you can find temples of different big religions.

We already went to visit the Sikh temples or Gurudwara.

And we also saw a Hindu temple.

And now we are in Qutub Minar, which is an important place for the Islam.

This site has the tallest stone minaret in the world.

We came to Hauz Khas Village, which is a place not many foreigners visit, because they don't know about it.

We were lucky to come in a tour with the people from our hostel and our local guide.

So he brought us to this place that is really worth visiting.

It has some ruins and a stunning sunset.

Hi, time to eat some streetfood!

What do you think about what I'm going to eat?

I will definitely lick my fingers afterwards.

Right?

Delicious!

To finish we will have a nice dessert.

Very nice!

See you next time, goodnight! Until the next time!

And we say goodbye to New Delhi, to continue our trip to our next destination,

in India's most common public transportation: the train.

And to make the ride a little less boring we will accompany it with some chips.

Thank you very much Lily!

And if you want to know which is our next destination, don't miss the next episode of VagaJuntos!

Life Insurance Q&A, Surrender of Life Insurance Endowment Plans, Hindi, December 7, 2017 - Duration: 5:49.

In this video, we will discuss some of the most important things to know about surrender of life insurance endowment plans

You can only surrender a life insurance endowment plan only when it acquires surrender value

Any endowment plan that has a term of 10 years or less, typically starts acquiring a surrender value after the end of the second year

For endowment plans with terms of 10 years or more, the surrender value starts acquiring after 3 years

You can check out the surrender conditions in the life insurance policy document

You can check out these conditions in the 15 day free look period

Even when it is acquiring surrender value, you only get a fraction of the premiums paid

This is because major portion of the charges such as mortality charges for providing life insurance cover, administration charges and commissions are deducted from the premium at beginning of the policy term

The part of the premium getting invested initially is less due to the deduction of charges but it keeps increasing during the policy term

Therefore, examine any life insurance plan very well before buying whether it is unit linked or endowment plan

Check out our other videos on life insurance endowment plans in this channel

There are also tax implications of any surrender of life insurance endowment plans

Horror Poster Advent Calendar - Day Seven - Duration: 1:14.

Welcome back to Dark Corners Advent Calendar of Horror.

You join us in the private art gallery of the grim and grotesque in the endless catacombs underneath DC HQ.

It's the end of the first week of our Christmas countdown but we've still got lots more to go, starting with...

There were lots of cool posters for The Shining but this is arguably the most striking -

somehow managing to combine gothic and minimalist.

The front of the hotel recalls the lift doors in the movie,

filled with blood which is pouring through the maze to reach the unsuspecting figures waiting to enter.

Meanwhile the art deco lights suggest eyes, staring out at us,

reinforcing the idea that the Overlook itself in the monster in this.

It is stark and yet gory, symbolist and yet obvious,

clear and yet suggestive of a tangled mystery to be explored that may end up leading nowhere.

Movies are journeys we embark upon, and this poster is inviting us in, but also warning us.

Join us again tomorrow for another horrific advent poster. And don't forget to subscribe to our channel.

Can't believe I said that!

Exactly. Leaking...

Friends way before simply because of Agata, and because Alex and Agata are sisters.

Of course I became friends with Alex.

Nico, the queen is on!

I know Amy since about first year, She was in my home ec. class.

Not looking forward to that.

I know jack from being in my school. He was in my year.

Once again, I'm going to apologise to you about the things I said.

I'm not the only one that said things about your relationship, everyone had comments.

I feel like he's just trying to bring shit up that already happened.

Why is he bringing up things that have nothing to do with him?

No body does that, who does that?

He can do anything but no one else can do anything.

Yeah, I don't like people like that.

Nico really likes to do this whole puppet master. He just wants drama!

I don't think it's what he wants though, it's just what has to happen.

He's comparing my bullshit to your bullshit but he's the one with the bullshit.

It's not Chloe and Eoin, it's just Eoin that's just there.

Yeah but you see, Chloe get's roped into it.

Aiycham lies a good deal but I don't think he does it maliciously, but I feel like Nico might.

Aiycham has an Aiycham that he talks about in his head.

And an Aiycham that's actually presented to everybody.

I'm like, wait bitch. What?

You know, it's not about me insulting you. It's about you being overly sensitive.

Insulting someone; in your head... I'm not insulting...

It seems like it's coming across really well...

If you think I'm being condescending then you know what? I am because you're an arsehole!

I'm acting the way I would always act. No, you're really defensive and you're acting like butter wouldn't fucking melt.

Jack we're in a fucking public place!

That might be towards you!

The only one of yous I think is a decent person is Chloe and she's not even fucking here so I may as well just leave.

What the fuck did I do?

Okay, I have been out with you one time and maybe you could have got to know me that if you didn't spend the whole

time talking about fucking religion and politics

Fuck yous!

Fuck you too!

Liverpool captain Coutinho admits future is uncertain but insists he plays with "will and desire" - Duration: 4:47.

Liverpool captain Philippe Coutinho admits future is uncertain but insists he plays with "will and desire"

Philippe Coutinho says he doesn't know what the future holds, but insists he'll always give his best while he remains at Liverpool.

The Brazilian playmaker skippered the Reds to a memorable victory over Spartak Moscow on Wednesday, scoring the opening two goals himself in a 7-0 rout.

Playing from the left of a midfield four, Coutinho was hugely influential in the opening stages, netting a penalty and a side-footed effort as he and the rest of the attack ran riot.

The result sent Liverpool through to the last 16 of the Champions League for the first time since 2009, with the knock-outs set to commence in February 2018.

Despite playing such a pivotal role in the match and steering the Reds toward the latter stages of the competition, Coutinho stopped short of confirming he'd be at Anfield for the rest of the season, with Barcelona interest expected once more in the January transfer window.

"I do not know how the future is going to be.

What will happen in January, we will know it in January.

I do not know if there will be an offer," he said after the game, as translated by @caiocarrieri.

"I am at Liverpool and I always do my best when I have the opportunity to play, respecting the jersey and the supporters.

"Last summer there was a job offer in the same way that happens with any employee and I was interested in it.

Since I stayed, I have played with will and desire.

"It was a special night due to the result and because I had the armband in such important playing for a club like Liverpool.

While Coutinho gave up the armband for the second half after the introduction of James Milner, he was still perhaps the Reds' top performer in the second half, helping create chance after chance.

The attack functioned almost flawlessly, with Coutinho central to much of the best work of the team, and he was quick to praise his team-mates for their combined input.

"It was a good game, the team played very well and I think we deserved the result so we are in the next round," Coutinho said on Norwegian TV, per the Echo.

"I scored a hat-trick for Brazil but this was my first one in the Champions League.

For sure it's the most important.

"It was a really good night.

When we play at Anfield the atmosphere is amazing.

I always say the fans here are unbelievable.

Today is a good day.

"Let's see (what we can achieve).

We have to work hard.".

It's certain that the Reds can go on to be a threat both domestically and in Europe this season, impressing against top opposition in one-off games—but they'll be far more likely to get close to silverware if Coutinho remains at the club.

Fans will be hoping that nights such as this one convince the No.

10 to stick around a little while longer, especially as January replacements will be hard to come by.

Abraham Hicks - What is the purpose of building the pyramids? - Duration: 6:58.

GUEST: - Well, this questions a little bit shallow

compared to the other wonderful questions that were asked

ABRAHAM: - We've never heard one and we certainly do not expect one from you.

GUEST: - Okay!

And I've always been very intrigued about what was the intent

Behind the great manifestation of the building of the pyramids in Egypt.

Specifically the ones in Giza.

Why would they build them? And what was their purpose?

And when?

ABRAHAM: - Well, the purpose of them was the... For the maintaining of physical bodies

In other words, they were built not just as a shrine

But as a tomb to protect those carcasses from the elements

Because the misguided Pharaoh's who... Who decided to construct the pyramids

Believed that they were going to return to those bodies

And they wanted them to be in good shape than they got back!

[audience laughs]

GUEST: - Okay!

[audience laughs]

Now, the reason why I asked the question is because there's been some speculation

that possibly they were machines for harnessing the energy of the Earth

And projecting energy beams

So, it's kind of like the interest that I had in for it

ABRAHAM: - Well, not so much machines

As the... In the same way that we've been talking all day here today

And scientists will be interested in this if they can leave the realm of of fact and reality

And come a little bit into the realm of fantasy and imagination

They will find some clues for harnessing energy

And we've been talking about it all day here today

That one who's connected to the stream is more powerful than millions who are not

You are harnessing...

Your scientists today, while they are utilizing the power that they are terming electricity

They have not begun to understand it

They not begun to understand...

When you harness sound energy

In the way that you are harnessing light energy

Because of the denser frequency of the sound vibration

You will get more moveable energy from it

So it was it was about that!

GUEST: - So, they thought maybe by concentrating the electrical energy

That they would actually propel their bodies from where is that, was that...?

ABRAHAM: - They were... They were... They were whitening loads

They were... They understood leverage

In other words, a lot of it was through the sheer will and power of just moving one thing to another place

But the leverage of it was something that they received clarity about from inside the vortex

And it's all kinds of things that they were utilizing in that day

In terms of leverage, even in terms of water buoyancy

All kinds of things that are not even being considered when that subject is approached today

GUEST: - So, having said that when were they built?

And by whom?

ABRAHAM: - By the civilization that was present at the time

that those people who were put in the tomb was put in the tomb

In other words, it was that constituency, it was that...

You see? That is an interesting thing

Because humans, while we talk about you being on the leading edge

We also want you to remember that you have been creating in this environment for a very long time

And while you are at your furthest extension of creativity

Scientifically, you haven't even come close to catching up with some of the things that some were doing before

In other words, the true motion forward is in the spiritual intertwining

You have been more technologically advanced than you are today

Not spiritually

Not harmonically

ABRAHAM: - But technologically. GUEST: - Technologically…

Okay! I confirms that!

Now, can I move on to a deeper question?

Okay! And thank you so much. I completely satisfies my and my question

The next one is a little bit deeper, it's about...

ABRAHAM: - Well, now we get the point that you are making about the shallow question ...

Because, well, those tombs aren't shallow they made sure

But... But...

But in the sense that it's not really much for you to do much about

In other words, you have come forth in this time to explore what's around you

In order to launch your rockets. in order to come into vibrational alignment with them

GUEST: - Got it!

ABRAHAM: - So, the part about what you were asking before...

That we think is intriguing and really worth complimenting you on probing in that question about

Is that there are all kinds of things that those people of that time put into the vortex

That humans have not allowed themselves to discover yet

In other words, asking that was put there

You put things into the vortex that future generations will benefit from

And that's why when you finally are able to let go of the the binding

Of your practical what is Itis

Where you're only willing to acknowledge what is

And instead you become more an emotional being

More of a light being

More of a floating being

More of a what scientists would call maybe an irrational being

When you become more of a... More of an optimistic being

When you become more of an aligned being

When you tune into the frequency of what's in that collective vortex

That's where scientists gain their greatest insights, you see?

And if they didn't feel such a compulsion to as soon as they get the insight

If they didn't feel such a necessity to build bridges to bring everybody else along

If they could just discover on their own, leaving big gaps in technology maybe

But study and know and prove to themselves

Then others who then witness what they accomplished

Would then come across the bridge that is then laid

ABRAHAM: - You see what we're getting at? GUEST: - Yes.

ABRAHAM: - It's the need to bring everybody with you every step of the way

that slows everything down!

And don't you know that when you try to convince your mother that you want to do something?

Or you try to convince anybody?

Isn't it easier to just make up your mind, line up with it, let universal forces work it into being

And then when it happens, your mother says:

"Well, of course I always knew you could do that!"

'I took my napkin, and off we went': Robert Wessman's billion dollar vision | World Finance - Duration: 3:34.

World Finance: In June 2009, Robert Wessman – former CEO of multi-billion dollar pharmaceuticals

business Actavis – met with investors in a New York restaurant to discuss his vision

for a new pharma business model: Alvogen.

And by discuss, I mean: draw on a napkin.

So basically I grabbed this napkin – and I'm quite fond of this napkin.

So you cannot borrow it, by the way.

So just reading from the napkin, my vision was, I wanted to create a leading company

in the world.

So, no lack of ambition there!

I wanted to see a company with over a billion dollar sales, here.

And we will exceed that this year.

I wanted to go into emerging markets – meaning central and eastern Europe, Asia-Pacific.

And I wanted to also include the US, being the biggest market in the world.

I wanted to make sure that we could produce our products.

So, wanted to have a CMO, our own facility.

Which we did, in the US.

I wanted to open a CRO, so we could do our own clinical trials.

I wanted to then open up my own biosimilars, which we did four years back with Alvotech.

And I wanted to cover not only prescription drugs, but also OTC.

I wanted to hire the best in class people to join us.

I wanted to build the best portfolio, knowing that the industry would consolidate.

So we would have a product which our customers want.

I wanted to make sure that we would build up the best quality systems.

And we wanted to build up the best service.

So Alvogen today operates over 99 percent service level on a global scale.

Which I think don't think any other generic company is doing.

So I took my nice napkin, and off we went.

I signed up with a US company, I bought a half developed portfolio: 21 products, which

I wanted to use as a base for my new venture.

A year later, those products were advanced in the development, and I didn't have any

production side.

So I went to a meeting in upstate New York with a company called Norwich.

And met with the owners of Norwich: they had manufacturing plants only.

I came with 21 products I needed someone to produce.

And I explained my napkin.

So, they were inspired.

They thought it would be a good idea to combine products and plant.

And a few months later we had a contract where we combined forces.

So from that day we started a journey to build up our portfolio, to build up our research

and development, our business development.

We expanded into 35 countries in only 24 months.

And we basically took this small company with $37m revenues, loss making; into what is now Alvogen.

A global business with over a billion dollar sales.

So since then, this has been our strategic roadmap.

I'm always a little bit proud when I take a look at my napkin, which I only do every second year.

So, I kind of preserve it well, and make sure that nobody uses it by mistake.

World Finance: Quite a story; thank you very much.

Robert Wessman: Thanks.

Thanks for watching.

Holiday Mail Art - Masked & Ink Blended Snowflakes - Duration: 8:23.

- [Kristina] Hi everyone, Kristina Werner here.

Welcome to another Monthly Mail Art video

for simonsaysstamp.com.

Today I'm starting out with these two envelopes.

One is a black envelope

and the other is an ivory-metallic envelope.

These are both from Simon,

and I'm going to take the Nested Circles dies

and make a circle mask for each one of these envelopes.

I'm taking out the different sizes of circle dies

and kind of deciding which size works best.

I'm gonna go down with one that's just a little bit smaller

because I want a little more room on the top and bottom.

So I'm going to actually place the postage stamp

on the envelope

before I even start decorating at all this time,

and that's because I'm gonna be doing a lot of ink-blending

with a pigment ink right over the top

of where that stamp will go and I want to make sure

that I'm not gonna have any problems with the postage stamp

kind of sticking to the envelope.

I want to have there be any issue with it peeling off later

because there is ink underneath it, if that makes sense.

So now I've got some masking paper.

This is masking paper from Simon

and I'm cutting out that circle die

and I'm gonna cut this out twice.

I'm gonna use two circle dies, one for each envelope,

and I'm also going to use the Felicity Snowflake,

Bliss Snowflake, and Joy Snowflake from Simon.

I'm cutting those out of some masking paper as well.

And I'm gonna start by using those masks

on this black envelope.

I'm first placing that circle down onto the center

of the envelope,

and then I took a little bit of Post-it tape,

this is just some 3M Scotch brand Post-it tape,

and I covered up that postage stamp

because I want to make sure that no ink goes

over that postage stamp.

Now I'm gonna do the same thing

to the other envelope as well.

I want to protect that postage stamp

while I'm working on my envelope design.

You want to make sure that the postage stamp is still

able to be canceled by the postal service,

you don't want to have any ink going over the top

or anything that would make the surface too slick.

So I'm taking those snowflake die cuts that I've cut,

this is out of masking paper, and I'm pressing those down

onto my black envelope.

I want the snowflakes to mostly hang off the circle area

and I want lots of detail remaining on the black area

of the envelope.

So I'm pressing those down really well,

and now I'm going to down a Tonic Easy Clean Mat

and this is down below my envelope

and I'm gonna take some Golden Glitz Delicata pigment ink

and I'm going to ink-blend this coming off of the circle

and I want the most concentration of color

to be right at the edge of the circle.

So I'm moving in a circular motion,

doing some nice ink-blending,

and when it comes to going over those snowflake guys,

I also did a little of an up-and-down pouncing motion

in some cases, just because I wanted to make sure that

all of that really beautiful gold pigment ink

made it into all the little itty-bitty crevices

on these snowflakes.

For the other card, or for the other envelope, excuse me,

I'm using three different colors of Distress Oxide Ink,

starting with Peacock Feathers and I'm blending that out

from the circle edge, from the edge of the circle mask

and I'm going to go all the way around this circle mask

and then I'm going to come in with Faded Jeans

coming in from the edge of the envelope.

And to protect my fingers from getting too inky,

I am using more of that Post-it tape

just to protect my fingertips.

I'm gonna clean it off in between colors

because I don't want those colors to mix,

and then I'm taking Black Soot

and kind of bringing that in from edge.

So I have a little bit of like a lighter teal

fading to a blue into like a grayish color.

Because this is a ivory-metallic envelope

so it has a little bit of a coating on the surface,

because of that, it really doesn't absorb the ink

as much as other surfaces would,

so when you use Distress Oxide Ink

on top of this particular type of envelope,

it will dull it down a little bit.

Now I'm using these snowflake stamps from Tim Holtz

and I'm gonna use that Golden Glitz Delicata ink once again.

I'm gonna stamp these right over the top

of all of that ink-blending and I want to make sure

I have a really good inked-up stamp

before I stamp these down.

I'm gonna press this down,

make sure I get all of those snowflakes

pressed really evenly into the envelope,

and then you can see how beautiful that is.

It adds just a nice sheen and shine to the envelope.

So I just turned that envelope around

and I'm using four other stamps from that same stamp set.

I'm gonna stamp these down on around the other side

of the envelope.

And I did take a couple of the other stamps

and added those into some of the gaps around the edge

of the envelope as well.

You can see all that beautiful shine

from that golden pigment ink.

So now I'm gonna remove this mask

and first gonna take it off my postage stamp.

You can see that it saved that entire area

and then I just use my scissors to help pull up that mask

so that I can then pull it up off of my envelope here,

and I'm being super careful because some of that gold ink

isn't dry yet.

So I'm making sure not to put my clean fingertips

into that gold ink and then smear it around.

And I really love the sharp edge of that masked circle

and it lets that really pretty pearlescent ivory metallic

really show through.

So for the other envelope, I'm gonna do the same thing.

I'm gonna use my scissors just to help pick up

those snowflake masks and you can see how beautiful

that ink-blending is right over the top,

and it just leaves those black snowflakes there.

I'm gonna peel up the circle mask

just like I did on the other envelope,

kind of holding down where I need to really carefully,

and that, once again, such a nice, sharp, clean edge.

I'm gonna take my heat tool and just heat-set

all of this pigment ink.

It does take a little bit of time to dry.

I could have just left this for a couple hours

but using a heat tool just for a few minutes or so,

heat it up as much as I needed it to be,

or dried it as much,

and then the ink wasn't spreading at all.

And I had to do that for this other envelope as well

to make sure that gold ink wasn't smearing

as I moved on with the rest of the envelopes.

So as far as addressing the envelopes go,

I used a gold paint pen from Pilot

and I just wrote on the recipient's names in the gold ink

and once again, like I've shown in the past,

these mailing addresses are real

and the recipients have graciously allowed me

to use their addresses on camera or on the internet,

so I do have their permission to use them.

For the addresses, I used a white Gelly Roll pen.

I really like to use this white pen

because it's really easy to write with

and I don't get very much skipping

but you do have to slow down when you're using it.

And for the address on the ivory envelope,

I used a Pilot envelope-addressing pen,

and I'm just gonna put in the zip code here

right here at the bottom, making sure it's nice and even,

and those are the envelopes for today.

Those are the envelope designs.

I think this is a really fun design

and if you wanted to utilize your Misti tool

and a bunch of masks, you could actually do this design

on multiple envelopes all at once

and you save a little bit of time.

So I hope you guys enjoyed today's envelope designs.

I will be back very soon next month

with hopefully more mail art.

Thanks so much for watching

and I'll catch you guys in another video very soon.

VLOGMAS 6&7 | TALKING MUSIC WITH GYPTIAN'S PRODUCER + IS IT ACTUALLY LEGAL TO SMOKE IN JAMAICA?? - Duration: 11:13.

Hey youtube it is vlogmas day

six and seven i'm putting the two together because

Yesterday not only did I need a break from this daily vlogging... I really don't know how daily vloggers do this thing all the time

Every day we're seven videos in and I'm already over it anyways

I needed a little bit of a break so I uploaded a pre film video

and it worked out because my Italian followers have been complaining that I haven't been uploading enough videos in Italian anyway, so

Yeah, that was there. Now, I'm going to just recap what's been going on the last two days this morning?

I went with my mom to pick up my stepdad from the airport

He flew in this morning from New York to Norman International... Norman Manley International Airport

I just went because I wanted to see the airport um I came in through Montego Bay at Montego Bay Airport

I don't know why even though that's like THE touristic City of Jamaica. It's not that cute of an airport

I don't know NMI is way more modern, way more clean, bigger

It just looks all-around better, but it was too expensive to fly in from Europe

I don't know why it was like 500 euros cheaper to fly in through Montego Bay whereas in Kingston

I guess the only cheap for people coming from America, so yeah, we went to go pick him up

And I got to see the airport, and it was really nice, and that's pretty much all I did today

But yesterday is another story

So do you guys know Gyptian? he had a couple of really popular songs back in the day

I mean Nicki Minaj and a remix to one of them

You know I'm talking about

Hold you, wine slow, nah let go

Yeah that Gyptian well yesterday me and Keisha went to his home recording studio in Portmore

apparently one of Keisha's co-workers is

friends with Gyptian's current producer and so

He allowed me to go over there to get some interviews about Jamaican music

Now because my life is 'mai na goia' all the time, I didn't get to see Gyptian because gyptian is currently in Europe right now

I'm in Jamaica he's in Europe

He's touring so I didn't get to interview gyptian himself

But I got to talk to his producers and some of the artists under that label

About the Jamaican music scene the Jamaican music influence around the world and it was such an interesting conversation

I want you to nice to check it out.

What do you think about dancehall?

that it's evolving

that dancehall is the culture

dancehall is the expression of the Jamaican people

you know? uncut

that's dancehall

As opposed to reggae which is

Reggae is still the culture

but more from a revolutionary standpoint

or a more harmonic, peace and love...

Okay, why do you think that dancehall is having so much success abroad as opposed to reggae?

things fluctuate

music never stays in one place

in a second you're gonna have reggae being more popular than dancehall again

it just has it's time

it has it's time

every genre has it's time when it leads

sometimes it's just because an artist introduces a new style to a genre

you know

that will put them there for a while and keep them up there

sometimes nothing is wrong with that

as long as everything is positive

I think a lot of foreigners like dancehall because they don't know what they're saying

you said it right there

it's like you're answering your own question

foreigners not knowing what they are saying

so therefore it's new

it's different

and that's one of the first reasons they like it, because it's new to them

alright like he said, people gravitate ... because you said they don't know what they're saying

It's kind of like trap music then

right

people love trap music

and I'm telling you, a lot of people don't know what they're saying in it

dancehall created hip hop

A man named Kool Herc

Yes, a lot of Americans don't know that. He's Jamaican

And he's Jamaican.

so dancehall is going to be more popular in America

but you see in Europe,

Reggae is more standout in Europe than dancehall

from what I see on Youtube

because that what I can see from because I'm not in Europe

so we have to view from the internet and to me

reggae

reggae sold out bigger arenas than dancehall

dancehall is mostly played in clubs

whereas reggae is played at big outside events

even in America, California and places like that, reggae shows are more popular

hippies and people like them love reggae

right, they love the message

Yeah, they love the message and reggae is a message

dancehall has messages for certain people at the same time, because you have good dancehall songs

that are sending a message

you understand? but they're just sending it in a different way, it's like you're sending it to the streets

Jamaica is the root you know

anything we do, we're going to be more in-depth

so if we're going to talk about sex

best believe, they're going to talk about sex to the full extent, right?

because she has a hot song about sex you know

some of the terms that they use are derogatory but some of them it's like

because I am in the culture, it doesn't really mean anything

and i sing-

well, I wouldn't really use for example the word

Bitch and feel comfortable

but Jamaican artist, male artists do it and females do it as well

so...I'm partial to it

Okay, I would use it because you know maybe if I'm writing a song

and it's about the trend

and you know sometimes

Negativity is like popular right right right?

So I'm gonna write that song, and I want everybody to be you know excited about the song

I want it to be a hot song maybe I've used a word, but I wouldn't necessarily feel like

Okay, I want to call a girl a bitch so that's how I feel

you as a musician is one thing and then you as your personal

Life is another exactly

You're a performer. Do you think it's harder for women in the Jamaican music industry?

Yeah, definitely because you need

you need proper guidance, and you need somebody to represent you and you need somebody, that's

whole and somebody that people can respect so finding that is not very easy because there's a lot of abuse out there

I've been through it thankfully because I have a

great manager. No abuse there.

it's hard when you're on your own, but if you have a team mm-hmm

then you're good to go

All right

So 876 hip hip dancehall and reggae is a TV show that's on Hype TV in Jamaica and I am the host

and we interview hip hop artist, dancehall and reggae artists

a lot of people would never know that there are hip hop artists in Jamaica

that's why we came up with the show

that's why the main name is hip hop

876, HIPHOP, dancehall and reggae

because hip hop is the smallest genre in Jamaica

the biggest genre in other countries, but out here it's the smallest

but we put it up big because they have some kids

underground which are doing the same thing

they're doing hip hop music and we want them to be heard

you know what I mean because that Bugatti money right there

Yeah, this is part of show everybody loves, you know? This is the cipher

I have some questions, where are their accents??

Jamaican accent? Yeah they don't rap with their Jamaican accent?

right no, see I'm showing you that Jamaican people are so talented

you understand, we can switch up the accent and start talking like an american if we want to

Is weed legal in Jamaica or illegal?

can't seem to get a straight answer on that

(recently) decriminalized

Okay meaning?

different from illegal

I can only walk with a certain amount

Okay

and only specific people

like the Rastafarian community

you can walk with up to an ounce

up to an ounce or two ounces...

Okay, but regular people, no?

no, and if you have over an amount

you still get charged like normal

in excess of the amount 2 ounces

it's still illegal but they're just not...

it's decriminalized

Okay...

no smoking in public places all of these things

decriminalized

a message for everyone in Jamaica Dec 24th

So yeah after leaving Gyptians home studio since we were already in Portmore

or the sunshine city of Jamaica you know

portore that's in JA

since we were already there we decided to go to Helshire Beach

It's actually hell-Shire, but in Jamaica you pronounce it Hell-sha

in Portmore, so I'm gonna give you guys a couple clips from that

What I loved about Hellshire is that it was really local

I mean there are lots of beaches and resorts that are pretty much

Just tourists and are flooded with tourists

and are super crowded and I hate those kinds of things anyways in general

So it was nice to go to this beach

that was pretty much only

locals there only one or two visible tourists that you can see

I hope I'm not making a mistake by mentioning it in my vlog

I hope that people aren't gonna like 'discover' Hellshire now and it's gonna blow up

I don't think so because I'm not that big, but yeah, that's where we went.

I know you guys are gonna ask me where it was so might as well tell you

it was really beautiful, and I had a great time so yeah

That's pretty much all I did, these last two days

That's gonna be vlogmas days 6 & 7

remember to Like and subscribe if you haven't already and I'll see you guys tomorrow

Gary Vaynerchuk Give Back More Then You Take / MOTIVATIONAL SPEECH #4 / KEY to being Happy / Elevate - Duration: 8:39.

yo yo yo CPA strength here strongest CPA in the game with my best video with ever

coming up so thank you for watching you could like it right now because I really

appreciate that dislike it right now leave a comment on what makes you happy

yeah you can leave it now or after the video or whatever what makes me happy is

giving back giving to somebody so that's gonna be the theme of this video and

yeah it's early morning so I already have my video idea for the day and I'm

like it's weird because once it sticks in my head that's the idea for the day

like that's what we're working with I would say I would say I've been

searching for happiness ever since I

quit drinking how can I get happy now because I'm not doing this stuff and

yeah that was making me very unhappy look how I'm standing I am so weird

I get that hi guys of angles don't actually don't want to actually use the

tripod that I have and if any creators are out there

I guess creators or anything when that mood strikes for you you know because

I've had to give videos where my mood wasn't on point and they weren't that

great I got a Facebook message a couple days

ago it was someone saying how I helped them so I helped him so much you know I

really helped him in a real way and that made me feel like so good inside so my

news will make me happy is giving back giving something

back that that's been and that came right after I reviewed my money

situation in my personal accounting business and it was doing like really

good for me in 2018 I'm definitely I well projected to make more than I left

at my corporate gig job two and a half two years ago something to taxi to go so

so I was looking at that and and you think about because I was so stressful

for me to leave my my safe job when I figured out that I'd be making more

money next year like I should have like that was it like that's what I wanted to

do that was one of my big goals I mean and I was just yeah like it was weird

because money money money money money money money over everything money money

money money and now that I've got some I'm like man I mean don't get me wrong

I'm gonna get that Milly and I'm not being in one of these fucking it I'm not

on frickin five ecstasy pills being like ooh mmm I feel I'm eating feelings and

shit talking about you know like just still am oh we don't get that I mean

money over everything well no I guess it's not still I'm only money over

everything but giving back but your mo e be g BG be mo e BG be no accept but

you're very accept accept you back m OE e gb okay I know that was weird but you

know that's why you all love me and then I got that message a couple hours later

after I learned I was gonna have more money for me then I guess in a long time

more money than I've ever had little cabbie I had the most money I've ever

had nineteen years old so but I also had an

ulcer another door so much stress so with the money comes the mo money mo

problems you know as they say hit but hey I'm living better so I get so then I

got then I got a message then I gave back to someone it made me feel so good

so being happy that's been leading me to a certain a certain point that it's

important and my search for happiness and I'm still only search for it but I

think but I found that just giving like giving to be specific giving my

accounting knowledge way my DC idler that really helps people I know it helps

people because I struggle with accounting and they will say and they

tell me to how much it helps them a key component of being happy is giving back

now it's not just I got this one message and now I'm relaying the messages next

days it's been a long time coming when I was studying for my CPA exam when I was

Owen - and then I was listening to Arnold Schwarzenegger five rules of

success and I guess he was the first motivational speaker that I ever

listened to because I say the first one was Les Brown but I forgot that Arnold

Schwarzenegger I use this for motivational speaking and with on

YouTube there's like thousands of motivational videos but for some reason

I didn't think that there was more than just this one video of Arnold

Schwarzenegger where he had the five rules of success and what was the six

rules I'm not sure but anyways one of the rules it was five or six one of the

rules was give back give back to people he goes this is the most important rule

and this will give you the most joy I was like okay and in the first four

rules were just like work hard don't listen to the naysayers putting in hard

work and I've you know and I would listen out like daily it was like oh

other people are out horsing around partying you're here work and so let's

say that daily and then the the give back thing I was like I don't think he

knows what he's talking about my heard was like that

give back I'm like no another instance that I can release that has really been

just sitting with me is the Gary Gary Vaynerchuk Gary peek I don't even know

what he is he's he's a motivator to me he's an entrepreneur

whatever you really do that got a lot of like two minutes sound bites like hit

him hard hit him up that's why I'm your bitch get money tattoo on TTC and JD oh

so the Gary Vaynerchuk he says give back give 51% take 49 give more than you take

you know that's a very big key to his success his his comment was I guess

yesterday in the video he says your office location is sweet thanks jack

first line and Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren is so this is the in quotes

now it's not about you end quote so it's not about you and then he says then Jack

says helping others is where happiness lives took me many years to figure this

out yeah it took me like 40 years to figure that out to man but if all I had

to do it was just give like that's easy I say hey what makes you happy could you

tell me what makes you happy or yeah just tell me what makes you happy

so did you leave that down in the comments because I guess I mean I'm

interviewing you right now what makes you happy I think that comment down

below peace what's happiness to you happiness to me

is giving back anyways y'all have y'all have a great day and until tomorrow

deuces so yeah I need a new hair hair makeup girl cuz Regina be slacking she

don't even show up she I don't remember I don't even remember the last time I

Gina has shown up she's getting frickin ridiculous like

hi I gotta get some views man how am I supposed to get views like this this is

trash Oh

Woodgrain Background Handmade Card- with Tim Holtz Distress Crayons- DIY - Duration: 7:13.

hi everyone its Keren here and welcome back to my channel thank you so much for

coming back today I create a new car tutorial with a woodgrain pattern in the

background using Tim Holtz distress crayons these crayons come in many

different colors but the two that I'm using today are being given for free

with any purchase from scrapbook com follow the link below my video to

scrapbook calm and with any purchase you will receive these two crayons for free

the two free crayons are only available on December 7th and 8th 2017 but you can

buy the set of all the crayons anytime from scrapbook com all the products and

things are listed in the description area below the two distress crayons are

amusing today are vintage photo and walnut stain and to create the

background I use Strax more smooth Bristol paper I applied the distress

oxide inks directly to the background by just rubbing them and painting on the

bathroom I alternated between the two Browns and then using a little bit of

water just blended the colors with my fingers distress crayons are great for

blending and they can create any type of background because they actually react

with water unlike regular crayons the distress crayons as you may know react

with water and can blend together on any type of surface but it's better to do

them on a smooth surface so you don't get any lines

I continued blending until everything was smooth and all the colors were

blended together then I added another layer by applying more of the crown on

top of this first layer that way I got a more intense color and a deeper brown so

I could die cutter or emboss I grabbed a second piece of Bristol paper and then

used the crayons again to create a second background this time I added the

crayons in a horizontal way by alternating between the two colors this

is another way of applying them but it gave me the same results and then I went

ahead and smooth them out with water again this background was created almost

like a gradient in terms of colors and I thought it was perfect to die-cut a tree

with it I took a die cut from paper smooches

this is the fall tree and what I did is I run it through my vagabond machine and

cut one tree and two sets of leaves each set came with eight different leaves so

I knew I would have enough if I cut sixteen of them so I could add to my

card

then I ran this second paper through an embossing folder that has a woodgrain

pattern the wood grain texture came out beautifully but to really see it I ran a

wet wipe on top of the embossed area and it took off some of that ink and it made

it look really good I took some Neenah environment Desert

Storm cardstock this is the hundred and ten pound cardstock and I measured it so

it would be on a slant on my card the reason was is that I didn't want to

cover the whole background because I really loved the actual woodgrain

pattern so I measured where the cardstock are supposed to go and then I

went ahead and I placed it slanted on the back that way I really had a good

way of showing off my tree without covering most of my wood grain pattern

I glue the Desert Storm cardstock to the woodgrain background and then I glue the

tree right on top of that car that way I had a good contrast between the back and

the front and the tree matched perfectly with the background then for the leaves

I took my old siren machine which I haven't really used in god knows how

long and I thought to myself why try to glue these tiny leaves without any help

so I went and dug it out from the bottom of my scrapbooking bin and went ahead

and run it through and put all the leaves inside and created stickers out

of them I can't tell you how good it felt to not have to glue each and every

one and just have to run it through that machine it's not really a machine it's

more sticker maker but I call it a machine because it really created

stickers for my leaves so all I did is just take the leaves and glue them to

the background and then I was done I also took a brown fine point marker and

just added a little bit of a ground underneath the tree to make it a little

bit more realistic but I drew that freehand and without any guide I'd also

took my wing Castella and added a little bit of shimmer to all

the leaves and the tree trunk just so it would be a little bit more shimmery

then I glue the card to an a2 note card made out of the same Desert Storm paper

just so it would all match

finally for the sentiment I stamped a hero art sentiment that says thank you

with my Versamark ink and then embossed it with white superfine Ranger embossing

powder and of course as usual I added the powder tool to make sure that no

embossing powder sticks to the background so I keep my embossing powder

in a container so I just went ahead and added it to the background and then heat

set it and I wanted to do it in white just to add a little bit of contrast I

took pictures of my project on a wood green background as well which is the

back porch in my house because I thought it would be perfect for this thank you

so much for watching if you like my video please give it a thumbs up and

share it with your friends on social media for more inspiration subscribe to

Celebrating one year of WolframInside - Duration: 12:12.

In the beginning of the diagnosis was very hard time

because I felt so alone.

I thought "it is so hard to be diagnosed, It is so rare"

It seemed that was only me in the world and that I was single.

Then on Christmas Eve I was having lunch with my dad

and he told me he found on the internet about an american foundation called The Snow Foundation

that was created by a mother of a Wolfram syndrome patient.

She created this foundation to raise funds to help the researches.

This day was very special for me

because was the first day I accepted

start reading and searching about the disease.

Daughter my love, or daughter our love.

One day we read a text where you said that the stones

were only obstacles and every time they were in the middle of your way you jumped them

and you were learning and hitting different jumps.

I hope that stones become you stronger to face even bigger jumps.

It is a fact that the stones presented early in the middle of your way.

First with only 4 years old when you were diagnosed with diabetes.

For us the world collapsed and the lack of knowledge made everything seem harder and insuperable.

But after a while with the clarified of the disease everything were easier.

With 6 years she was the first patient to put an insulin bomb.

This therapy would bring a better control in her blood glucose.

Then, with 11 years she presented the first symptoms showing that the hearing wasn't good

and the need of using hearing aids came with the responsibility of so many controls.

At age 13, the symptoms showing that the vision presented disability.

The addition of all this symptoms made us afraid.

From then we started our journey.

We went to the best Health Centers of the country

and in front of us we just found a lot of questions and darkness.

We saw that in that time the knowledge about the disease was not here,

that is why we went to search out of the country.

We went to St. Louis and Los Angeles in the United States.

Were so many years of distress until the right diagnosis and so many trips searching for a better treatment.

Between this discovery was surfacing a girl that likes writing.

Were so many texts on the social medias where she manifested her fears, anguishes and uncertainties.

Those texts touched the people.

With the knowledge about the disease came a wish to write, explain and talk about the syndrome.

When she met the american foundation The Snow Foundation,

she identified with the idea of the foundation

and then it was born the project WolframInside.

In the beginning was an simple idea, but as all she does with so much dedication.

Were some months of working and the result of this work and the involvement of the people is really heart touching.

There were so many volunteering people that helped with the development of this website

and this event that exceeded all of our expectations.

And I assure you that Rafaela knew how to communicate to people the idea that she had.

One of the most important things for a person who has a grave disease is know that she is not alone.

And I know that today she has the real feeling that she is not alone.

Honey, all of this is your story, keep writing.

Don't stop cause your story has to much to learn us.

I don't know what to say about my daughter.

I can't say she doesn't exist cause she is here.

She is all the best.

I work with rare diseases, very rare and Wolfram Syndrome is a very rare disease, is a ultra-rare disease

and what makes the diference between the patients

and the people who has a rare disease is that it doesn't become so rafe with the knowledge.

That people have access to knowledge that there are ultta-rare diseases.

The ultra-rare patients are ultra-special

because we have two options when we get to know about our diagnosis of a rare, ultra-rare or a genetic disease

that are hide yourself or make difference that is what Rafa is doing.

I followed the journey of Rafa in maybe some hard moments

that involved the difficult of telling the diagnosis to Rafa.

You spoke a little bit about it on the video.

And it was a very hard time to us

because we want to save our children and your parents did two big acts of love.

One was save you as much as possible of the things related to Wolfram

and the other act maybe bigger was looking for a way to bring you inside this story.

Congratulations, Rafa for WolframInside.

I think this is the first of many achievements you will reach in your life.

I want to tell you that all of you also have a mission today,

that is helping me with this project become a success

and helping me raise awareness the information about Wolfram syndrome

to as many people as possible.

Thank you so much guys!

Thank you

I think some of you should already know me through social networks

or through my project called WolframInside.

Now I am here on YouTube, I am very excited

to get a little bit closer to you and show you the other side of living with Wolfram.

Thrift Haul Try On || SHANiA - Duration: 12:58.

I got a bunch of stuff to share with you guys so I hope you're ready for it hi

it's me Shania and I am back again with another thrift haul so let's call

this my November thrift haul if you haven't already make sure you check out

my October thrift haul and subscribe to my channel hit that like button and let me

know if there's any videos in particular that you'd like to see me record

First thing I have is this super cute coat and what I love about it is just the color I

love how big it is I love the hood I really love coats with hoods and

just the style overall it's just so cute and it only cost me twelve

ninety-nine next thing I have this skirt but the first thing that drew me to it

was the print this is houndstooth print and that it's definitely in style right

now and it was only five dollars I don't really like the length of it or the fit

but I might I might actually just use this to make something else like maybe a

top or I might like just make it smaller and more form-fitting but I don't really

like how it fits though unfortunately

the next thing I have are these pants and they're like loose fitted wide-leg

is definitely in trend right now like a loose fitted wide leg high-waisted pant

is definitely in front and what I really love about these pants is that it kind

of has this like I guess you could say like a dart kind of thing happening here

like right here and right here and I love that it's just I feel like it adds

so much style and I also love that it has like this waistband in the back

cuz then you know like okay it's really gonna fit it's really gonna hug my hips

not my hips my waist a lot of times I have jeans that they fit like my thighs

but then the the waist part is just like really loose because my thighs are not

in proportion with my waist so I love that it has this elastic in the back and

these were only five dollars the next thing I have going back to basics is this like

turtleneck and I think it's coming out as white but it's not really white it's

kind of like creamish but I just love it because I think it's gonna go really

well under like stand out pieces it's gonna help me be able to wear things

that are summer appropriate because I'm gonna be able to stay warm and still

look cute you know so it's a basic but it's a necessity and it only cost me

four dollars next thing I have is this Jumbo sweater like it's humongous I actually

got this from the men's section and the first thing that caught my eye was just

like one the color because it's red and how can you miss this and two like

the actual like detail like the the Knitting of it it's just to me is so

precious and I love that it's oversized you know I had to get it and then I saw

the price and I was like what five dollars just five dollars I had to get

it I love the way it fits I definitely plan on wearing this as like like a kind

of sweater dress by itself and also as like like a regular open button sweater

so I definitely feel like it's gonna be versatile next thing I have are these pants and

these are kind of similar to the other pants I just showed you the only

difference is that it doesn't have an elastic in the back and then the front

is like proper pants where you have to button it and zip it and in terms of fit

the other pants that I showed you those are like super high waisted and these

are like these are high waisted too but they're not as high-waisted as those

other pants and I like them both and these ones have elastics on the sides

like in the back but just on the sides right here they also have pockets right

or is that a lie that is a lie no that's not a lie they actually have

pockets as well they look the same because they're the same color but

they're actually different they cost me seven dollars the next thing I have is

this super jumbo blouse it's so long I got a lot of like big oversized pieces I

don't know why just my eye is like really feeling that the first thing that

caught my eye was just how long it is and then the second thing that caught my

eye was just like how the quality is amazing like it's not a flimsy collared

shirt it's like very thick material very solid just the design overall is

really nice and I definitely plan on wearing this like open button

I'm gonna and also like close button and by itself over jeans like there's so much

you could do with this and this was only 13

dollars next thing I got I think these are my favorite these shorts and I know it

looks a little weird because they're like they're kind of long but I

definitely plan on doing some things with these shorts I definitely plan on

cutting them up and hemming them and just kind of making them a little bit more

modern but the first thing I thought when I saw these shorts was like oh my

gosh I have to buy these shorts because the pattern is just amazing like plaid

is in you guys plaid is trending this season whether it is a shirt or a blazer

or a skirt I haven't really seen anybody say anything about plaid shorts so I I

when I saw these I was like I have to get these because I'll be in trend

but I'll also be kind of like unique in my own way you know and that's what I'm all

about I love being you know in the reaml of

trends like I love knowing about trends and you know knowing what's hip but I

don't necessarily like to follow the trend I kind of like to add my own

flavor to the trend and these were just exactly that like they're trending

because they're plaid but then they're shorts so it's like a whole other

flavor so these are my favorite of everything that I've got and I

definitely can't wait to show you guys what I do with them they were only eight

dollars I think these are my second favorite thing then I got these pants

here super cute when I was going to pay for them even

the lady that was ringing me up were like was like is there some cute pants

and I was like duh I didn't say that but you know that's how you know when it's cute

you know when the person ringing you up is like hold on so the first thing that caught

my eye to these pants is the pattern so many

different patterns are trending this season and this is definitely one of

them and I love that I didn't have to pay an

arm and a leg to get them you know and I love that they're high-waisted I

love the fit they have pockets on the sides they're also Ralph Lauren so

it's also a good quality brand I paid $10 I also got this button-up shirt what

I love about this button-up shirt is the detail like it's all in the details look

at that collar the lace is just beautiful and even this detail right

here is super beautiful super super beautiful and I just was very attracted

to this shirt I was like I have to get it I don't have a lot of basic things so

I think you could never go wrong with having a lot of collared shirts because

you can pair collared shirts with literally anything like jeans pants

skirts you could put them under bodycon dresses or regular dresses there's

so much you can do with collars with collared shirts so I had to grab this and I

love how it fits I love how its kind of oversized but not really I love that

it's very airy and light and flowy and it only cost me five dollars

then the next thing I got was this sweater and it's cold so having a

sweater stocking up on sweaters is not a bad idea but I got this sweater and I

just loved the the shimmery aspect of it and I love how big it is

I loved the detail of the knit and just how there's a silver accent in it that

just really makes it pop out and I feel like this could look

really well for like a casual style or even like a more formal style as well I

love he large like turtleneck and what I really love about it is the back I

love how it has like is kind of like open separate back here and I just

think is so cool and it's super warm so warm it was only seven dollars

can you believe that if this thing was in a store like today not as like a

thrift store but like a regular store it would be at least fifteen dollars the

last thing I got and also I think this is like my third favorite thing is this

bad girl right here tell me she's not bad y'all she's oversized she is red for

the gods she's sturdy she's just she's everything okay I saw this and I was

like I don't care if this thing is a million dollars I don't care I must have

it like that red is bangin and then the fact that it's like oversized is bangin

really it's amazing I had to get it the only thing that I'm just kind of like nuhh

not really in love with about this blazer is the shoulder pads I set this

in one of my other videos actually in my thrift collection video which you should

check out I don't like when Blazers have shoulder pads in them because I have

pretty broad shoulders so when Blazers or shirts in general have shoulder

pads in it it's just like it's just too much and it makes me look like I'm like

a football player or something like that so I'm gonna see if there's something I

can do to maybe like open the seams and go in and take out the shoulder pads without

it being destroyed otherwise I'm just gonna have to like really style this so

that I'm always like balanced and not heavy on the top so yeah well I'll work

it out but yeah I forgot to mention it but this blazer only cost me $7.99 let

me know which of these pieces was your favorite oh yeah remember turn on your

notifications if you want to stay up to date on my latest posts and uploads -

definitely stay tuned for my December thrift haul and yeah until next time

ciao

i want people from all around

then second...

Lentils with rice - #CocinaConFlandy - Duration: 7:07.

Why do animals eyes glow in the dark? - Duration: 1:28.

Smart Learning for All

Why do animals' eyes glow in the dark?

Because they have hidden torches.

No.

Wait.

I will explain.

Our eyes have a layer called retina which is made up of photo receptors.

When light enters our eyes, it hits the photo receptors.

Photo receptors detect light, thus making it possible to see.

However, the light which doesn't hit the photo receptors remains undetected.

Poor undetected light.

Now, nocturnal animals like owls, need to see better during the night.

Hence, their eyes have another layer below the retina called tapetum lucidum.

Now, when light doesn't hit the photo receptors, it reaches the tapetum lucidum.

This layer acts like a mirror.

It reflects light back onto the photo receptors, thus giving them a second chance to detect light.

Some of this reflected light also comes out of the animal's eyes.

Thus, making it seem that its eyes are glowing.
