Youtube daily report Dec 8 2017

Welcome, my dear boys and girls, to a new recipe on our channel!

There goes our ingredient list.

This is a great recipe for using those way-too-riped, almost spoiled bananas.

A little trick: make sure our sugar, the brown one, is caster sugar.

"Glass sugar", as we call it in Spain,

or "unnoticeable sugar", as called by our friends in America,

because it will add itself better to our batter that way

and will give a caramel-like touch

which is honestly irresistible.

How shall we start our recipe?

As every baking one does: preheating our oven.

This nice lady over here is already instructing us to do so.

From there, using the masher, well.. let's mash our bananas.

You can use a fork if you don't have this tool.

Leave the mash as "baby food-ish" as possible.

On a different bowl, we'll set the eggs

and whisk them.

I would show that to you this fast-paced

because it's honestly something quite boring to watch.

Let's add caster sugar to the mix,

and, when evenly mixed, we'll add the oil.

Then pour vanilla and cinnamon in it.

I've used unsweetened vanilla extract.

Of course, you can use any other vanilla scent

which is available to you.

Now we'll add the banana puree.

Don't worry if there are small chunks in it.

They'll kind of melt down when baking the cake and will taste delicious.

Our last step will be mixing together oat and baking powder to our batter.

This is obviously easier when using a food proccessor,

a bakery mixer or even an hand blender,

since this is such a liquid batter,

but I have to assume not everyone has access to these home appliances,

and that's why I made this recipe fully by hand.

It will have to reach the point of baby food, as you're about to see now.

Now we'll pour it into a baking mold.

I've used a greased silicone one.

You may as well use a classic, or even a disposable one.

But I would advise you, if using these last two,

to line them up with bakery paper lining.

We'll bake it for 40 minutes at 180ºC

or until we insert a needle on it and it comes out fully dry and clean.

Then leave the mold to cool on a grill.

Don't take it out the mold inmediately

because our cake would break. It's really tender.

There goes our final result.

It's so dark because of the oxidation of the fruit,

but that does not mean it's burnt at all.

Now let's see it cut out in portions.

You'll see how yummy it looks.

This makes a great snak with tea or coffee.

It's a great breakfast, due to its carbs,

and can also be served as dessert.

Then, I'll advise serving it along with whipped cream, vanilla ice, some honey...

It tastes amazing!

I hope you liked this video, my dear boys and girls.

Thanks for stopping by our channel, one more day.

May God forever bless and keep you all.

Big hugs, everyone!

New King Kong Skull Island Mega Figure Vs Godzilla Jurassic Park Unboxing

found this out walmart this is our giant

King Kong from the duo King Kong Skull

Island movie this is the 18 inch New Godzilla Giant Surprise Egg 10 Neca Bling Bags Godzilla Toys King Kong Vs Godzilla Unboxing

possible calls mega digger and they also

comes with the soldier with of zucca

check out the back

Jackie y'all ok this is the blood

we're going to wow what in the world we

all have big gods and you came with a

shovel

what were you thinking I knocked him on

the head with just shovel your nut man

ok guys this is the plan there's a giant

monkey cited in this area

our job is to take him down and bring

him back dead / live call for yeah still

good

does the door you're crazy very open it

up y'all use my head haha ok everybody

split up like they say it's safer when

there's danger if everybody is alone

one for all and every man for himself

yeah one place is freaking me out

wonder what's around here

well what was there I thought I seen

something

now just get Luke here what we're help

guys it's a giant monkey

well Bob you cut out what did you say it

was a giant mongoose

what in the world are you talking about

you are got me

tell it's a giant thinking monkey and ok

whatever that thing it will be a

four-year no way to get us up here

was that self-same your later help you

jump up coming in your nest monkey take

their death the death is that here

ok so the back of the package says call

likes them all so they're going to have

are at least three other set the boat

one there

the one on the bottom are right i got

that that so i'll be reviewing that one

this piece is mega figure with this

aspect mega figure you can decide how

Kong's became king he controlled the

mighty monster he protects our world

from the most powerful creatures on

Skull Island a hundred football in the

muscle called stand tall in the face of

danger

get ready for battle with the new king

of action

ok let's check this guy out

ok so I to remove him you simply cut the

sauce three times that are there to hold

them in place and that has a cool

background like God huge sun rising with

like helicopters flying out of it

ok so this thing comes with some

crazy-looking soldier I have no idea

what he's doing

check it out he's like showing his

eat there something he's trying to look

for something those ah ok I he does come

with a cool bazooka which is actually

strapped to his arm so he does it

dropping got like grenades on his chest

his arms move but his legs do not his

legs are solid so I mean it's just

basically he's gonna stand there so it's

almost like off if you used to play with

like the old like a soldier set for

cowboys and Indians it's very similar to

that and then we have the huge call me

this guy is big 18 inch bigger is a food

figure I mean they did a great job with

detailing on his head but the thing is

his head just move a tiny bit here

I mean it does not move all that much

his loss doesn't open or closed but they

did a really great job detailing and

coloring the teeth the color of his eyes

and everything and then moving on down

off pretty decent movement for a big

plastic figure he could move his

shoulder like that and then you could

also turn it 360 degrees

he's got odd good movement on his arm

straighten and send it all the way

forward almost so this arm is open so he

could hold something this arm is closed

so that would be more for like a point

reaction once again 360-degree moving on

that the legs do not move I mean from

here on down

it's like a plastic hollow figure and

then let's take a look at the feet to so

the feet there is

you can turn the feet 360-degree off I

guess that's kind of cool i mean it

doesn't really move backward or forward

so you could only turn it sideways which

God doesn't really make all that much

sense but the feet are kind of freaky

looking

if you look at it i mean they look just

like hands so that it was cool arm lines

okay he because turn kids sorry this

guy's you just keep losing kids it could

turn his 50-year a little bit and his

hands here pretty decent movement

involved like that and then let's check

him out from the back so in the back

that gave a really good muscle

definition back here obviously he is

covered with hair eyes kinda cool here

when you move his arm forward they

filled in this spot before his elbow so

it's not just hanging there not looking

like Popeye something like that and then

uh going all the way down so off

overall I mean for the price it's not a

bad deal i mean when i wish you would

have gone more stuff i wish they

wouldn't let you like open and close the

arms maybe have them beat his chest

I mean here is another our King Kong boy

was reviewed from the older movie

the thing I like about this one his

hands do opening closed you can put it

into fists boat and you could actually

have him beat his chest because you

gotta leave her back here and if he

turned him on he makes the wrong choice

got in my opinion this one is a much

cooler toy but if you want to go big

I mean look at that size difference

between them

the new one is huge so with the open

hand I mean you could actually have him

picked off like a full-size action

figure if you want arm doesn't okay you

could have him put him all the way up

like that so that's kind of cool or ok

he's too heavy so if you put him down he

does full

yeah guys that was a lot of fun and if

How to Run a Successful Crowdfunding Campaign: interview with Printintin + GIVEAWAY - Duration: 14:46.

Hi and welcome to Everydaydraw. Today

I am extremely excited to present you an

interview with my students from

a freelance course. They are three girls,

that started a stationery business as a

school project, but then they launched it

as a real company with e-shop. They've

gathered five thousand and six hundred

dollars on crowdfunding platform with

little to know audience. And they will

share their tips on successful business.

How to start it, what to do, what not to do

in today's interview. Also you can win

a package with stationary goods from them.

For that you only need to be

subscribed to this channel on YouTube

and follow girls on Facebook and

Instagram. And then leave a comment

explaining why do you love stationery.

And we will pick a winner together with

girls on December 14th. So, good luck to

y'all and let's get straight into the video.

- Okay so we are Printintin. It is a

stationery shop, an e-shop. And we started as

three girls, because we just love to

stationery so much, and that's why we

started this company called Printintin.

My name is Ani. - Martina - Katka.

- Well it actually started as a school project.

From the very beginning we were sure, that

we wanted to create something real.

The real business where we could use

our creativity and our passion for

graphic design and for lettering, wich we

all enjoy. We had the same kind of

enthusiasm for this. So I'm really glad

I found these girls to make this project

with. When we just wanted to make

something, that wouldn't be just for our

portfolio. We knew, that we would

continue it afterwards.

- Four months we were

doing the whole Printintin thing under

supervision of our teachers, which

was great at some points, but there are a

few things, which were annoying aspect,

but I think it was those four months,

where we were doing the major

decisions about our business plan and

coming up with the main idea. Since then

it's been like half a year to create and

finish crowdfunding company.

- They gave us many advices,

that were useful In the end. Kids, listen your teachers.

Sometimes we thought a lot

of it was useless, but then, later on we

found out that many of that ideas were

actually helpful.

-But most of all

university was a place where we met, so

without the university we wouldn't be here.

It was probably the fear, that the things

won't work out. Because we were confident

at things we knew, such as: graphic design

and lettering. We were worried about the

administrative parts. Because we had to

establish a company with contracts,

accounting and taxes. And also we had to

come up with a good sell strategy and

decide what products we should make? how

many of them? how they should look like?

But at the end it wasn't as hard. -Just google. It tells

you everything.

I don't think so, because

we mainly did multimedia and

like the graphic, photos and everything.

We did some subjects like that. At the

time we just didn't think, that we would

do something like that in the future.

So we didn't kind of get really much

attention to it.

- And most of all

the university taught only theory.

But this is something totally different.

- I mean, it's a lot of practical stuff, we had to find out

by ourselves. Because, for example,

accounting is very theoretical.

- I think, that the best advice anyone can

tells you - go and ask someone who has got

business already. Because then you have got like

all those tips and useful strategies.

- Yeah. - Yeah. - We did.

- We had to find our target group, we

had to find out what the environment is.

And there is actually a gap on the market, that

we could fill on the market. We thought, that

there is still a space, we could fill. That there is not enough

pretty stationery.

- We did a questionnaire. It was

a basic Google questionnaire. People

usually don't want to answer to these.

- We got like hundreds of answers within like

two or three days. So we were surprised

by the interest.

We just put it in some

groups and to old friends, to our profiles.

A lot of people responded. Which was

really surprising.

- And they were like

really sharing their needs and wishes.

And it wasn't like one-word answers, but

they were writing long stories about what

they like and what they need. So we had

some tips from them, that we could make.

- Oh, we didn't plan on it.

Then we decided at one point, that

it would be the right way for us to go.

Maybe especially, because we didn't have

any audience. Because it helped us to

find out if people are interested at all.

Helped us to gain some level of exposure,

which we didn't have at the beginning.

I don't know, if we had started selling our

products right back then, maybe we would

have failed, because no one knew us.

We had nothing to lose.

Except four months of

work, that we already put into this

project. And also the dream that hadn't

started yet at that point. Other than that,

we had nothing to lose. We could just try.

And we had confidence in ourselves, that

we will be able to reach the target

group through social media, and that

the products are nice, and people will like them.

Well, we hoped, that people would like them.

I don't know if we would even get a loan. We wouldn't be even trusted by banks.

- Yeah. Just get a really good sponsor. I think, that would be able to get that as well.

- We could take orders and finish

them after paying but it would be a long

time for our customers to wait for their

things. So we thought, this would be

better idea to earn some money first.

- We get to know,

how to do it, how to communicate

with the audience and everything. In the

end it was just a good choice.

- It took a lot of planning and a lot of work before

the campaign and also during the

campaign we had to try every day. It was worth it.

I think the socials maybe, because we

thought like, okay, we're just gonna put

it there and it's gonna just work on itself.

Of course, it just doesn't work like

that. The constant communication with the

audience on Facebook, on Instagram,

socials as a whole.

- We try to communicate the

campaign almost everyday. They (Startovac) suggested we could do this

once a week maybe, but we had to try harder because

we didn't have any audience.

We just hoped, that

our friends would help us in the

beginning, because we have a lot of

friends who's also studying multimedia.

And they did. They really helped us.

Thank you so much. It was partly our

friends and families but we were also

surprised that...

- There were many people

from the outside. Not even in Prague. So that

was surprising for me.

- I don't know

portion it could be.

- I think maybe third.

When we hit the goal, probably. Thank you.

Just gather all the money we needed

for start. The page for the crowdfunding was

maybe the most visited page for like...

- For us.

The first two weeks before we gained some

percentage of the goal, we thought like maybe this is

not going to work out.

We were scared, that we have to drop

the whole project.

- In the beginning

you're worried a lot. And then it kind of gets

higher, and then you're okay, but then

it's stuck again, and then it goes higher.

So you kind of really pleased

and then it's stuck again. So it's kind

of like all these emotions

just like on a roller coaster.

- Well thats probably because we felt like

there is still a gap in the market, and

that we could sell this products here and

people will actually like them. And also

from the practical point of view on

the taxes and logistics it was easier to

start on the czech market. Also I think

that there's something really nice about

making things locally. Communicate with

the local customers and local brands.

I think that's what people very appreciate.

- We didn't know each other so much. So

I think, that we are just through the

business getting to know each other

more. So it's not like that we started as a friends,

because we were just like

girls who knew each other. Because when

you're friends and you start a business

you're not used to telling your friends

the truth because you worry about them.

Friend might get mad at you. Right now

we're just honest with each other

and it's just... I feel like we're just

getting to this stage where we're really

good friends. But we still can

tell each other the truth.

There was some guy who wrote us during the campaign,

that if it didn't work out, he was interested in

funding us maybe even more than our goal.

We didn't know anything about this

guy and his intentions. That would probably be

some kind of contract, that he would own part of the company.

- If we fail, we would just start to think about our strategy and try it again.

- We learned a lot during the campaign. What we should do, what we shouldn't do.

If we would fail, I think we would just like: "let's do it again".

Do a lot of research before hand. Plan everything.

Where you're going to talk to your target audience,

all the channels, that you are going to use.

Not just social media, but also you

can talk to people outside. We wanted to

talk to some bloggers which we didn't make

in the end, because our products were not ready at that point.

We read a lot.

there was this Kickstarter campaign,

which failed and then they willed it

again and they succeed, like such a big

way. They wrote this article about it, and

it was really useful for us, because

there were so many tips for the stretch

goals, which is not usual in czech

crowdfunding but it's usual in the

Kickstarter campaign. Before hand we just wrote

all these emails, social posts and we

tried to plan everything and prepare

everything in the beginning.

- There are many projects,

who don't even gained like 10 percent. And I think,

it's not because it's a bad projects, but

because they didn't think about it's too much.

They just thought, we will put it there,

and then...

- People will come to you.

- Just because you have a nice product, people will not come to

you by themselves. You have to try.

After we finish, the hardest part was to plan

everything again, because we didn't want

to waste all the funds that we gained

just for the sake of being fast with our

rewards. We had to plan all our suppliers,

because we made too many rewards.

We just wanted to give people options. But

in the end we had to outsource

things from many suppliers. We also had

to decide on stocks. Because we could

reach better prices if we printed everything right away. There was

a lot of planning involved after Startovac. And

also a lot of work. And we were a little bit delayed!

- It was 140 packages

approximately and it was 16 hours straight.

Each one of us has part. For example, Katka is making products. So she's thinking of

design and how many we will print. I'm

working on the website. And Anicka is

working on the things we do on demands for

clients. For example, we did Becherovka

notebooks. First few

months it was

really hectic, because we couldn't

organize ourselves. But now we found the

way which works for us.

- I am actually looking for a job.

- I don't know, if I cannot make a

full time job. It depends,

because there is not that many jobs to choose from.

But part time job would be better, because this

takes a lot of our time.

- We don't take it as job

itself. It's your project and you

just don't worry from nine to five, you

do it in your spare time and just in the

evenings. And in the 1 AM. it's more like

a hobby. I just don't feel like

it's a job for me right now. It will be.

Definitely this will be our job, but now it's in

a stage, where if we don't earn anything

from that, we have to have one

more job, just so we can...

- I think, I would say, like one, two, three years, when we can

like fully replace it for the normal jobs we have right now.

- Maybe It looks like we earn a lot

of money now, but we don't have

anything. And we are working on this

for like almost a year, just free, basically.

It's crucial to have this kind of

enthusiasm, even though you know, that you're

not going to earn anything for a

really long time.

- Right now we just need

to focus on the basic things. To get the

administration right, get the

website going, and just like all these things.

- We haven't talked to them.

We were scared of them.

- Actually there are many of these shops,

but none of them has exactly the same

strategy. And none of them produces

the products the same way we do. Some just

reselling pretty stationery they order abroad.

And some of them make things

manually, which is also not the same way that we do.

But there was one exact shop, that

we would say, they have exact same

strategy. And we did't ask them how they

did it. We actually haven't got advice

from them. But we got advice from some

other small business.

- They told us,

the first year it wasn't a job for a living but

right now it's like getting better.

It was kind of useful to know, ok there's someone

who's starting the same as we are.

- Don't be afraid. You need to make sure,

that you idea is unique and make research,

does people are really looking for your

product or service. And then do a lot of

hard work. The most important thing is

that you love what you do and you do it with

the right people. We want to thank you for the

interview. It's great interview

for us. It's our first one.

So, thank you very much.

How to grow "Avocado" from a bone in the home - (Part 6) - Duration: 15:40.

How to grow "Avocado" from a bone at home?

(part - 6)

"The next formation of the crown, as well as a new plant from a rooted branch"

- Because of the short light day, the crown of the plant is poorly branched -

- New small sprouted shoots do not grow, since it was already cool outside and in the room -

- Since the beginning of the rooting of the branch  has passed approximately 2,5 months -

- We will begin a standard transplant in a capacity of 1.2 liters -

- A detailed method of transplantation, see the description of this video! -

- The branch of avocado has successfully taken root in the substrate from coarse-grained river sand and vermiculite -

- Watering should be plentiful, so that all the soil soaked in water,  and excess water left through the drainage holes of the pot -

- After transplant, send the rooted shank back to room mini greenhouse, for its adaptation after transplantation -

- In November, the first snow fell, the air temperature on the street below zero, transplanted stalk is in a mini greenhouse until spring -

- During this period of the year the sun is rarely shown -

- I decided to trim the old foliage, leaving only new young juicy leaves -

- The two main branches continue to grow further, and young shoots begin to dry up -

- I made another pruning and plastered the cut with a garden fence -

- Avocado in the apartment is very poorly given  uniform formation of branches on the crown of a plant! -

- After 14 days, two new shoots began to sprout on the top -

- Lower sleeping buds as usual sleep, all because of the fact that there is no uniform illumination on the plant from all sides! -

- Since the transfer to the pot "mini avocado", it's been 4 months -

State Department Official Came Forward With EVERYTHING!

Obama/Hillary Were Doing This With Refugees!

A recently retired State Department Official Mary Doetsch that worked under President Obama

and Hillary Clinton just came forward in a whistleblower report in the Chicago Tribune

on the rampant corruption in the refugee program!

And they wonder why Republicans want reform in the refugee program and enhanced border

security.

It is simply to counter the mistakes and failures of the Obama Administration.

Part of the Doetsch's Letter:

As a recently retired 25-year veteran of the U.S. Department of State who served almost

eight years as a refugee coordinator throughout the Middle East, Africa, Russia and Cuba,

I have seen first-hand the abuses and fraud that permeate the refugee program and know

about the entrenched interests that fight every effort to implement much-needed reform.

Despite claims of enhanced vetting, the reality is that it is virtually impossible to vet

an individual who has no type of an official record, particularly in countries compromised

by terrorism.

U.S. immigration officials simply rely on the person's often rehearsed and fabricated

"testimony."

I have personally seen this on hundreds of occasions.

As a refugee coordinator, I saw the exploitations, inconsistencies and security lapses in the

program, and I advocated strongly for change.

Nonetheless, during the past decade and specifically under the Obama administration, the Refugee

Admissions Program continued to expand blindly, seemingly without concern for security or

whether it served the best interests of its own citizens.

For instance, the legally questionable resettlement of refugees from Malta to the United States

grew substantially, despite the fact that as a European country with a functioning asylum

system, "refugees" should have remained there under the internationally accepted concept

of "the country of first asylum."

Similarly, the "special" in-country refugee programs in Cuba and Russia continue, although

they are laden with fraud and far too often simply admit economic migrants rather than

actual refugees.

The Obama Administration expanded the refugee program without consulting anyone and without

the safety of American citizens as well as their being better places for the refugees

to go!

Obama and Hillary Clinton also worked to counter reform in the vetting process because they

didn't want better vetting!

They don't care about our safety and never have.

The best part is that Doetsch believes in Trump's ban!

This is a woman that has seen first hand the horrible gaps in our refugee and immigration

programs!

Now while Obama and his family enjoy a beach vacation the poor American people are left

to deal with the burden and consequences of Obama's incompetence and seemingly deliberate

actions to allow more and more refugees into our country!

What do you think about this?

The County Seat Medicaid Expansion - Duration: 28:51.

Hello everybody welcome to The County Seat

I'm your host Chad Booth today we are talking

about Medicaid expansion this has been a topic

really over the last decade since the affordable

care act came into play and the need for

Medicaid expansion. Utah has drawn up to the

idea of finding a way to or a different way to

expand Medicaid coverage trying to be fiscally

responsible. However the conversation has

taken on new light because of the problems we

have had with homeless, opioid addiction the

problem around Reo Grand and it has become

very important so we are going to pick up that

conversation today and talk about Medicaid

expansion with Utah's expert on it Dr. Brian

Shiozawa who is a Utah state senator thank you

for joining us Senator. And we have Adam

Trupp is with us as well who is the CEO of the

Utah Association of Counties who has been

active in pursuing this. So the news on

November 1st and all the newspapers were Utah

got it they got a 70 million dollar Medicaid

waver. What does that mean?

Well 2 things really and I will let Dr. Shiozawa

explain more of the details of what in the

waiver but what we have asked for and what

Utah asked for was an exception or a waiver to

the rules that govern Medicaid. That was

intended to expand our coverage of Medicaid

but only in a targeted way. Targeted way was

intended to address substance use disorder and

people who needed treatment and people with

mental health disorder who needed treatment

and were somehow in evolved in the justice

system. So you reference Rio Grande in fact it

was for a broader population of people and that

is all those people who have involvement in the

criminal justice system which is somehow

caused by and related to or involving their

substance abuse problems or their mental

health problems and that is what we are trying

to target in terms of treatment and in terms of

response that addresses those needs.

Medicaid waver Utah is not necessarily new if

people look you will see a whole list of different

areas where they have already given us waivers

like brain injury intellectual disability things of

that nature how different is this one Dr.

Shiozawa?

This is quite a bit different in that it is

specifically targeted to a population in general.

Just like Mr. Trupp has already alluded to we

are targeting and in the very timely fashion

those people with homelessness have

substance abuse and who have problems with

mental health disorders and are in fact in the

justice system and so it has far reaching

ramifications in terms of not only their health

but also the surrounding citizens and it is also

going to be a template for other basically states

around the country to look at as they address

this what you say is precisely right through

Medicaid is one of those big government

programs that is federally funded through and

administered through the department of Health

and Human Services that has specific rules set

down in federal doctrine and then in order for a

state like Utah to get a change in what is

prescribed across the country we have to apply

for a specific waiver that enables us to adapt to

the Utah way a specific request that brings in

federal dollars to help us help our citizens in a

unique way. Now whether it is a brain injury

waiver or whether it's a more expansive waiver

like the Rio Grande waiver.

if you look at Medicaid it just says we will treat

anything on a 30/70 split so how do you end up

having a quote it's understood being a cap but

you have a process that says we will match

anything 30/70?

Well let me add to that in part. There are 2

ways to do it. One you do get a waiver to your

requirement to serve anyone who comes in and

is eligible but the other aspect of it is that states

have to match the payments that come from

the federal government. So the 30/70

requirement is that the state has to pay 30% of

the bill and then they get 70% of the whole

back. So they give 30 cents they get 70 cents

that totals the whole dollar the state of Utah

has said this is the level that we will go to or the

level that they have gone to if I am not

mistaken and said the top will be 30 million

dollars of our contribution. That is a big

commitment and it's a good return but it's a big

dollar commitment no doubt about it.

So that ends up being 100 million dollars

towards addressing this problem in total.

That would be the total overall benefit to the

state.

I would like to try and figure out exactly how

you guys envision that coming into play and

how that would work when we get back we will

be right back after this break on the County

Seat.

Welcome back to The County Seat we are

discussing Medicaid expansion and a waiver

that the state got last month for 70 million

dollars of federal matching money to our 30

million to treat the quote Rio Grande problem.

To continue that conversation as I was reading

through what was entailed in this waiver and

what it said it would cover I was surprised there

were a lot of things that I would not have

anticipated being a coverable Medicaid

expense. How broad is this Dr. Shiozawa?

It's broad in the sense that it is directed to

specific population. When we think of Medicaid

in one circumstance we can say well it's going

to help those people that are poor say a women

who is pregnant or someone who has children

and they can just get general coverage. But

what this waiver does is specifically focus on a

specific population those people in the

homeless situation who have drug and mental

health problems and who have problems with

the justice system. So when they are involved

in that whether it's through the judiciary system

the mental health courts or how they find their

way into that particular category then these

dollars are then focused specific treatments to

help them. Let's say they are like substance

abuse maybe putting the into either outpatient

or inpatient treatment programs. The

residential treatment program I'll just see how

other groups are going to get funding for many

many beds they did not have before to bring

these patients ins they don't go directly from

the jail back onto the street. Or from mental

health courts out into some hotel with an ankle

bracelet but rather into a treatment program

that can give them not only treatment whether

physical or medical assisted treatment

counseling and then also getting them back into

better health and maybe even into a job so

really stabilizing here.

treatment beds and jail beds and making sure

they are expanded or capable facilities with the

jail and I noticed even some kind of elements of

police training. How that fix into the mix does

are they all crucial to make work?

It's going to be hard to have this program

succeed first of all until we know how it is going

to work but without enforcement downtown in

the Rio Grande area to protect not only those

people that are homeless but those citizens

around them and to prevent that vulnerable

population from being preyed upon by the drug

dealers. We are going to have to have more

police and then for those people who really are

drug abusers or violating the law then they have

to to into jail and we have to have under the JRI

for example the Justice Reinvestment Initiative

we have to have funding for that which we did

not get before because we never expanded

Medicaid. And then to get them from there

into residential treatment or outpatient

treatment into programs all three of these

various factors are important. So when you

look at ate judicial system what's it supposed to

accomplish. Well public safety right,

accountability and rehabilitation and if you take

away one of those three aspects you are going

to have a failure in that system and we have to

have that rehabilitation we have been pretty

good with accountability and we are pretty

good with public safety now let's get into the

rehabilitation portion.

What has changed originally at the time that

Representative Hutchins put JRI out and I

remember him telling me out on the plaza of

the Capitol if we get the Governors healthy

initiative through and get it funded which he

thought was going to happen he said it will have

the money it needs and I said what if it doesn't

he said well I have a few million dollars

squirreled away for this and because that is the

biggest concern for the counties it will not have

enough money. What has changed in that

environment with legislature about making

these commitments they did not want to get on

the hook before?

Sometimes it just takes time for all for all of the

legislature to see a problem and appreciate it.

And maybe Rio Grande had to come forward

and come to a head so finally the install of the

legislatives you know we really do have a

problem we are desperate we are seeing

problems murders for example increase in

population emergency departments jails

flooded with patients and by the way since we

did not fund the JRI the nonviolent offenders

were not in jail and we did not have the beds

funded for them there where did they go? Well

they went onto the street so we had the worst

of both situations we not incarcerating those

that really should have been incarcerated and

we were not treating them and so the problem

just got worse and worse because we failed to

take that next battle step which was funding.

I join in that assessment too, it's the idea of

people coming to see what is going on in reality

what is going on in their communities and not

people saying hey we have got to address this

beforehand it takes time for everybody to take

a look at what was done and then what the

impacts were and when you find that then you

do work on developing alternative solutions and

I think the legislature has done good job of

getting this far ahead it's a big chunk of money

to put into this and I think the next step does it

help public safety does it help the communities

and if it does we are on the right track we can

keep going and I think it's a real positive and

see how it develops and how people get the

work done.

We are going to dive into some of the details in

just minute when we come back with the

County Seat as we continue our conversation

on Medicaid expansion.

Welcome back to The County Seat we are

discussion the 70 million dollar waiver Medicaid

expansion here in Utah specifically for the Rio

Grande problem. We ended the last segment

talking about the fact that Utah had changed

the legislature our governing officials had kind

of changed their perspective on how they saw

this so my question is there a change in

Washington as well because we had to go back

before for a waiver and we have gone back this

time for a waiver how is that different?

I will tell you from the outside it appears to be

primarily different because we got an answer a

lot sooner than we did with the last

administration not certain why but I know the

Senator was involved with some of the

discussions so it may be getting some enlighten

but it sounds like there is an approach to

providing states more flexibility in how they

address their issues and how they deal with

federal programs and federal funds maybe you

can speak to that more.

What was that experience like Senator?

When I had an opportunity a few months ago to

meet with officials from CMSHHS on this

particular waiver one of the questions we asked

them is what is the process that you are taking

to evaluate our waiver to make sure it is a valid

waiver and how long is it going to take because

we have a desperate need for federal funds our

tax dollars by the way to bring back to Utah and

help this particular population. And for the first

time under this administration we heard the

words we want to be customer friendly how can

we help you? Now when I had gone back

before and spoken with the secretary under the

Obama administration it was basically this is

Medicaid expansion take it or leave it there is

no wriggle room in terms of adaptation to

Healthy Utah or anything else and now there

are many waiver being offered to CMS and they

are favorably looking at them and what they are

trying to do is to say let's give states the

opportunity to experiment to develop programs

and let's take those results and come up with

something good. That is why this Rio Grande is

so important. Is that we have been given

federal money not only federal money but

federal attention they are watching to see how

successful we are and what we can do and then

use that in other states.

contributing towards Medicaid program since

the affordable care act went in and we have not

taken those monies back out because we did

not want to do the Medicaid expansion how big

is our credit account back there?

That will vary. Let's just look at the past two

years for example. If we say that as a state we

pay 6 to 800 hundred millions of dollars in taxes

in various forms whether its medical device tax

the Cadillac tax on Medicare taxes whatever we

pay hundreds of millions of dollars back to the

federal government much which we could have

gotten back conservative estimates over the

past 2 to 3 years 1.2 billions of dollars that we

could have gotten back to the state of Utah in

terms of federal funding had we gone with the

fuller expansion.

Wow so nobody should complain about 70

million.

Not when it's really recapturing some of our

own tax dollars. That is exactly the point is if

we Utahns tax payers are going to pay this

money back to the federal government then

lets reclaim it and use it intelligently the Utah

way to help our people create high quality jobs.

We projected we created thousands of good

high quality jobs increase access points keep

people out of the ER and improve their quality if

we did this right.

The translation from somebody homeless

seeking care going through this program how

does that translate to the number of visits in

the ER, is there a close correlation between

indigent people and medical treatment through

an ER?

Unfortunately when you come to an ER it ought

to be for an emergency whether you are

critically ill or critically injured but a lot of

people come to the ER because they have no

insurance and they cannot get into a private

office or into an urgent care or because they

have simply no other place to go and its

convenient and they can. So what ER's do is we

are mandated by the federal government under

rules to take all comers and treat them and

stabilize them but the costs will be shifted to

each of us who do have health insurance and

you will end up paying for that as well. Now

what is the correlation there well you know that

if you get into medical bankruptcy what's the

number one cause of bankruptcy in this state?

Medical Bills.

The ER is a huge contributor it's at least ten

times more expensive for the similar treatment

to be done in an ER that to say an urgent care

or a family practice office.

bankruptcy because of medical bills you end up

being without work and homeless and then you

end up back in the ER for treatment there is a

dichotomy there that is interesting.

The other pieces to that is if you are and

individual with mental illness or if you have

substance abuse problems and you come into

the ER you get yourself through that process so

you have dealt with your emergency situation

or you illness for that period of time you are

going out and back into the community you are

already part of and you don't have follow up or

any wrap around services to help so the affect

that you get your sores on your leg treated or

some other medical malady taken care of in the

ER it does not mean you will have the

opportunity to go back to any other follow up

doctor unless you come back to the ER are you

likely to do that again? No because we all know

it is hard to get in its high cost etc. and what

gets treated does not ne3cessary get cured

because you do not have another option to go

this waiver is really intended to address a lot of

those parts together and hope that we can find

ways to move people towards recovery and

towards getting healthy instead of just getting

treated quickly.

Excellent we are going to take a break here for

our final thoughts here on The County Seat

talking about Medicaid expansion and our 70

million dollar waiver. We will be right back.

Welcome back to The County Seat we are

talking about Medicaid expansion and the

waiver that has been put in place for opioid

drug abuse mental health in the homeless

population you ended up with a comment

which I thought was very interesting they are

giving us a check and a chance to see what we

can do with it and how good of stewards we are

so Senator what to you does a good report card

look like? How will you know when this thing is

When we look at quality and outcomes that is

going to be my matrix as I look for success if I

was looking at this. Are we able to impact

patients in a positive way? Are we able to

demonstrate quality with our programs and

efficient use with our health care dollars that

we are using on this patients? In other words

can we take this patient population and make

them better with the amount of money that we

have been given and then take those same

processes and work on them and refine them

and improve them.

dollars are we going to recoup a hundred

million dollars if we say can take 70% of the

lives that are caught in this cycle or trap of

homelessness and drug abuse and mental

health if we can fix 70% of them is it worth

hundred million dollars?

Absolutely if we could help 70% of those

patients I would take that data and publish that

nationally and use it as a national template for

success that would be so good to help that

many people because if you put a dollar sign on

that think of the people who would be free of

drug abuse into productive lives more stable

relationships with their families and children off

the streets and healthier and our jails and our

streets safer how much would you pay for that

all for that small investment.

I just add to that if you think about the impact

on criminal justice system of addressing mental

health problems addressing substance abuse

problems and you look at what the impact is of

making those changes and making even a 50%

change in those numbers it would be huge well

over 50% of those people who go to jail or go to

prison have a substance abuse history or mental

health history that typically untreated. If you

lower those numbers you lower the cost of

corrects you lower the cost for

law enforcement you lower the costs on victims

of crime and that really is where the biggest

issue.

So knowing our nation's chief executive is a

bottom line kind of guy you think this will

demonstrate an actual return on investment

that the savings from the changed lives would

contribute more than a hundred million it took

to get them there?

If we could demonstrate 50 or 70 percent

improvement of these people's lives I think that

would be a huge return on investment not only

to the patients but to all their families and to us

as people who are trying to lead this country

and look at it in a very positive way.

You guys got the green light for this 36 days ago

how long is it going to take for this is actually on

the ground and things will start?

Things are starting because this has been a

process that has been going for several years.

The question of how soon is that money from

the federal government going to get into hands

of local providers and local organizations I

cannot tell you that for certain but it will

happen relatively quickly we have the waiver to

go forward we have to have it finalized by the

state department of health so we can start

billing for that but we already have people up

ready to bill and move forward. The reason its

already under way is that this is an approach

that the counties have been taking to move

forward on treatment that law enforcement has

been taking that the legislature and the

executive branch have bene pushing counties

on to say come up with new ideas find new

alternatives in lieu of incarceration let's get

people out of emergency rooms and into other

treatment options so the process is moving

forward but it sort of like turning an ocean liner

it does not happen quickly we have to keep

moving the right direction and if you go the

wrong direction you end up having to change

your course again.

Hopefully we are on the right path and

I Wrote This Rap When I Was A Kid! The Blue Hat Rap | Kate's Adventures - Duration: 1:36.

I was walking down the street back to my flat I looked down at my feet, there was a hat.

I put it on my head it stuck like glue, it was a very nice hat striped with blue.

But the trouble was I already had a hat so I gave it to the dog and she gave it to the cat.

The cat thought it was pretty sad so he gave it to my mum and she gave it to my dad.

So my dad has given a head for the Hat. It is adopted, that is that!

Did you like that? That's me rapping, in case you didn't guess.

and that's probably the reason why I don't rap. Because I don't sound like your conventional rapper, yo!

Yeah [GIGGLES] so I just filmed a video and I'm not sure it's going to be editable

because I was very rambly and I'm not sure it's going to be very interesting

so I turned on the camera to make a substitute video just in case

and the Blue Hat Rap was literally the only thing I had in my head.

I wrote that when I was about 8 years old and yeah like I can-

I can feel like Fresh Prince of Bel Air vibes from it, that was pretty much the only rap I knew as a kid.

Yeah my cousin came over one time and he had this hat on so I made a rap about the hat.

And that's my story. Does anybody have any funny little songs that they've made up?

I always seem to make up really weird songs....yeah.

And yeah, if you have any thoughts stick them down below.

Thank you for putting up with my nonsense everyone, cheerio!

Wikileaks Offered Trump & Family First Access To Hacked DNC Emails - Duration: 3:47.

According to a new CNN report, during the 2016 Presidential campaign, WikiLeaks reached

out to Donald Trump Jr., and an email address they believed belonged to Donald Trump himself,

offering both a decryption key, and a web address where they could go log in, and have

access to the hacked DNC emails before anyone else had access to them.

Now, a lot of people are trying to come out and say that this shows the Russian collusion,

I'm a little more skeptical on that particular fact.

What this does show, is that WikiLeaks is not an organization that I feel anybody in

this country needs to trust.

Regardless of the fact, that yes, the information that came out in those DNC emails was helpful.

It exposed the party, and that was necessary.

The fact that they were trying to feed that information to the Democrats political opponents,

in order to elevate Donald Trump, is what creates the problem.

Not that they had it, but what they did with it.

There is a very clear distinction here.

According to reports, it was the Guccifer 2.0, a Russian hacker who originally got the

documents, gave them to WikiLeaks, and then WikiLeaks attempted to get them to the Trump

campaign.

I don't think the collusion tie is there, at all.

Plus, as of right now, we don't necessarily have any information that tells us that the

Trump campaign actually used the decryption key and web address to get in there and access

the documents.

But, don't worry, there are plenty of legal issues that this creates, especially for Donald

Trump, Jr.

You see, the reason we know that this email was sent, was because it was turned over to

Congressional Investigators in their ongoing probe into Russian collusion.

Donald Trump Jr., failed to disclose this email previously to investigators, and when

it came to light he said, "Oh, I don't remember that happening.

I don't remember logging into the website so I can't say whether or not I did or I didn't."

Trump Jr.'s lawyer later had to come out and say, "No, no, no.

I'm pretty sure he didn't use that information."

But again, this really has less to do with Russia at this point, this particular story,

than it does with WikiLeaks.

WikiLeaks actively attempted to sway the United States election by spreading damning information

about the Democratic party.

If you have any questions about their motives at this point, I suggest you read this email,

you really look into it, and see what they were trying to do.

They were trying, and this is an organization that is being run from another country, trying

to influence and interfere with the American Democratic system.

That is not something that any of us should take lightly, and to be honest, that's probably

some kind of prosecutorial offense.

If Julian Assange wasn't' hanging out there in an embassy, far from the reach of police

officers, I can guarantee you the man would probably be on his way to prison for more

than just this particular story.

But the bottom line is that WikiLeaks, in their attempts to help Donald Trump and by

reaching out to Donald Trump Jr., probably the dumbest person in the Trump family, has

created an entire new world of legal problems that Trump and his son are going to have to

answer, most likely, in front of a grand jury.

Chalkboard Hand Lettering Tutorial - Christmas Welcome Sign - Duration: 12:58.

hey everyone it's sarah from sarahtypes.com today I'm going to show you how to

create your own chalkboard sign first this is what you'll need the Stabilo

water-soluble pencil. this is a better alternative to chalk and I'll explain

why later, you'll need some masking tape to create your guides for your letters

you'll need some chalk to create guidelines that you can wipe away later

and you'll need a damp cloth plus some q-tips to fix any mistakes I've also got

Baker's twine so I can create a circle for my wreath easily so you'll need to

have a sketch of what you're going to chalk out beforehand so it makes the

chalk process a lot quicker and a lot easier. mine is from a client and this

is what they requested so I gave them a few ideas this is the one they chose so

I'm going to take this and create this on the chalkboard, first I've grabbed

my Baker's twine and just by eyeballing the center of my chalkboard I cut it to

that size and then I added a piece of chalk to the end and I'm just going to

pull it taut and then use the chalk and draw a circle while keeping my left hand

steady the first try wasn't exactly perfect so I just made it a bit shorter

and tried again so I could fit it in the whole way around it doesn't have to

be perfect this is going to be a wreath so for this

instance it's not going to be an exact circle it's going to be a little bit

more natural like a wreath is so it'll be a little bit more forgiving as far as

not having it a perfect circle

I'm now grabbing my masking tape because I'm going to plan out where I'm

going to put my three lines of words and you can definitely grab a ruler I

suggest grabbing a ruler if this is your first time and using some math to plan

out especially if you have a lot to put in there but mine's pretty

straightforward and I like to eyeball things so I'm just going to do that from

the look of the proportions, I also have

tape around the side so I know how far I can go and where I should start and then

I'm going to take my Aqua Stabilo pencil and really lightly just draw out the the

whole drawing, the letters and the banner and make it so that it's very very light

so if I make any mistakes I can just go in and erase them easily and then I can

just go over it when I'm ready and make it a lot heavier and the reason why I

suggest using this pencil is because it does provide that look of chalk but the

pencil is much easier to use because it has a nice fine tip similar to a regular

pencil it isn't messy because it has the normal pencil feel to it so you don't

have to worry about getting your hands full of chalk, also it doesn't rub

away easily if it accidentally got pressed up against your clothes or you

want to erase mistakes it won't just rub away easily with a cloth to remove this

it's best to use a damp cloth and then that will get rid of it so as I go along

I'm removing tape where my letters might drop below the base line

but I'm leaving the tape for the rest of the word so that I can make sure it's

all on the same base line

so for this part I wanted to kind of create a some kind of 3d dimension to

my letters so to do that I am just taking a q-tip and making it damp so

it's not super wet and I'm just kind of moving around the pencil and erasing a

little bit of it on the bottom halves of the letters for Christmas just to give

it a little bit more interest

so now the lettering is done I'm gonna move on to the wreath so to make the

circle part look more wreath like I'm just gonna kind of go in and add more

lines to it some heavier lines some thinner lines just thicken it up and

make it look more like branches by adding lots of sketch lines

and because I'm working on a small board I don't have to move my whole body

to get to a section of the piece I can just pick up my board turn it around and

work on the part that I am working at also in the beginning I actually use chalk

to create the outer circle so it is under there and it's probably covered by

the soluble pencil but in the end I'll just

take a dry cloth and then just kind of clean up

the whole board just in case there's some chalk dust and then some chalk from

the circle and then just make sure that it still looks good once the guides are

removed but it's really easy just to softly go over it with a dry cloth and

get rid of any of the original chalk guides so to complete the wreath I'm

first drawing out the outlines for the leaves and the branches and once I'm

done the outlines I'm going to go in and shade them in using some lighter and

darker techniques

so while I'm finishing this wreath I'm just gonna do a recap of everything that

I've done I first started by creating my circle or outer guide line with my chalk

pen with my actual chalk so that I can easily erase it later and then I went in

with a masking tape to create guidelines for my text and then I went in with my

aqua soluble pencil and very lightly put in the letters to make sure that I have

enough room and they were written nicely and then once I was happy with that I

used the aqua soluble pencil to draw those guides but much heavier once

everything's done I take a dry cloth and just kind of wipe it across to get any

of the chalk dust and also use a q-tip to erase any of the aqua soluble pencil

lines that were left over if you have any questions make sure to leave a

comment below and let me know if you've tried this yourself

Bratz to Jedi Makeover Part 2 - Rey's Clothes - Duration: 11:34.

In this video, I'll show you how to make these amazing Rey costumes!

[Music: In a Galaxy Far Far Away]

Bratz to Jedi Makeover Part 2 Rey's Clothes

This is Rey's costume from the movie The Force Awakens

Her costume in The Last Jedi is almost identical

except in different colours

So I'll show you how to make both of them

I'll need another Bratz doll

And I have just the right doll for this!

Our viewers helped me identify her as Maribel Magic Makeup

She'll need her hair repaired and styled

but it's the perfect colour and length for Rey

Let's get started!

The material I'll be using is jersey knit

like these t-shirts I got on sale at the thrift store

This one is perfect because it is light weight

You can see through it

This is an infinity scarf

Super stretchy!

This is a brand new t-shirt

I paid half of this

It's also light weight

These are the pattern pieces for Rey's costumes

Each square on the green mat represents half an inch

Let's start with the pants and capris

For the pants, I need the stretch to go this way

This is the finished hem of the t-shirt sleeve

It makes a perfect waist band

Lay the pattern along the finished hem

The pants are for The Last Jedi costume

For the capris

I'm using this super stretchy infinity scarf

It's really stretchy this way

but not so much the other way

Make sure the stretch is going the width of the capris

Like this

This is for The Force Awakens costume

Because there is not a finished hem

this pattern allows for more material at the waist

so it can be folded under

Pin down the pattern and cut

Out goes the pins

I'm going to use Fabric Fusion on the leg bottoms

and on this unfinished waist edge

Here they are done

and the glue is dry

I'lll make the pants first

Turn it over so that the right side of the fabric is facing up

This centre line is where I'm going to fold the fabric into

Like this

Pin both sides down

There!

I'm going to sew up one side, go across

and down the other side

And here it is done

I used red thread so you can see the stitches better

Let's get it on a doll

Turn her so the back opening will be in the back

Pull the pant legs apart

and cut right down the centre

to the stitch that's going across

Get as close as you can without cutting that stitch

Now to sew up the back

Start with a few zig zag stitches

About maybe five

Now sew normal stitches

right up against the curve of her body

It'll look like this

See how the stitching curves into her waist?

This jersey knit fabric stretches beautifully

Look how easy it is to pull off

I'm going to cut the excess fabric off at the seat of the pants

There!

The crotch right here

gets over stretched sometimes

So I put a dab of Fabric Fusion to keep it from ripping

Turn it right side out

Let's get in on Maribel

Looks great!

Push up the pant legs a little bit

The capris are made the same way

Fold down the extra fabric at the waist to give it a finished edge

Now for the tunic

Make sure the fabric stretches this way

Pin down the pattern

and cut

Okay

Done!

Take out the 2 middle pins

and fold the tunic in half

Like this

Cut out the neck hole

There!

Do the same for the green tunic

Take out the pins

I use Fabric Fusion along all the edges

Neck hole

Make a little triangle like this

Make a line down the centre back

After I apply Fabric Fusion, I want to flatten it

Do the same for all the edges

Here they are done!

And the glue is dry

Fold the tunis in half lengthwise

Cut right through the glue to the neck hole

It'll look like this

Now for that triangle piece on the other side of the neck hole

Fold lengthwise

Snip off a tiny triangle shape

It should look like this

Do the same for the green tunic

You can see the glue better against the green fabric

[Music: In a Galaxy Far Far Away]

Now fold the tunic in half so that the glue side is facing you

Pin the sides together

Sew along the sides and leave 3 quarters inch for the arm hole

And here it is done!

And here it is done with matching white thread

And here is the green tunic all done

Turn them both right side out

Let's get it on Maribel

Over lap the back like this

Hold it all together with an elastic

It looks great!

Now for the wrap

This is an infinity scarf

I'm folding the width in half

I don't want the stretch in the length of the wrap

I want the stretch in the width of the wrap

The wrap pattern is placed on the fold like this

I want this to extend out 2 more inches

Pin down the pattern to both layers and cut

[Music: In a Galaxy Far Far Away]

When you get to the end

flip the fabric under the pattern

like this

and continue cutting

[Music: In a Galaxy Far Far Away]

Do the same for the grey fabric

This is also a scarf

Place the pattern on the fold

And cut. Just like the other wrap

[Music: In a Galaxy Far Far Away]

Take out the pins

And here they are

Let's get it on Maribel!

Drape it across the front diagonally

Over her shoulder

Make a loop and go over the other shoulder

Bring it around to the front and across her waist

Take it to the back

and pull the end under

and over this section like this

Looking good!

For the arm wraps, I'm using medical gauze

Cut a 9 inch strip

I want to cut 4 strips from this

Fold it in half

In half again

And fold it in half the other way

And cut along the fold

This will make 2 strips

Fold it in half again lengthwise

and cut along the fold

So now I have 2 strips that are a half inch wide

Don't worry if it's not perfectly straight

Apply Fabric Fusion along all the edges

Here are 4 strips done

The glue is dry

The gauze is too white

So I'm going to dye it for a more accurate colour

I'm using regular tea to dye the gauze

This tea has been brewing in hot water for a few hours

Throw all the strips in and stir them around

Look how fast this tea dye worked

The strips are dry now

The tea gave them a worn out look

Here is un-dyed gauze

See the difference?

Let's get them on Maribel!

Start at the top

Point the end of the strip downward

so the end with be tucked in

And wrap it around and around until it reaches the wrist

Cut off what you don't need

And there it is!

Perfect!

And the other side

Awesome!

Some accessories to complete her costume

A belt and holster

A wristband

And boots!

I'll show you how to make these accessories and boots in another video

Oh and lightsaber!

Maribel makes an awesome Rey!

She just needs her hair repaired and styled

And here they are!

Rey from The Force Awakens

And Rey from The Last Jedi!

Dana. I don't think I could ever go back to being a Bratz after this

Yeah. It's pretty awesome!

I feel like a Jedi already!

Wait until you get your hair done!

I can't wait! I'm so excited!

Rey is going to train me at the Jedi Academy!

She is?!

I'm sure she'll train you too

Oh that would be a dream come true!

Come back for more Bratz to Jedi makeovers!

🍰 Oat banana cake 🍌 with vanilla and cinnamon - Duration: 3:36.
