right now I'm with my sisters and my son, and we're going to target to buy a christmas tree

today is December 4th

Hello everyone, today is December 9th, it's a saturday

and I'm with my son, going to the LA auto show

a car event

not a .. yea it's like a..

well yea, it's an event that they do every year for a few days here in LA

where they show a bunch of cars of all types

like you guys know, I love cars, and my son likes them too

look at what happened, our credit card got stuck

I can't take it out because I have nails

so I'm telling him to try and take it out but it's really hard

look baby

I wanted to cut his hair today but we didn't have time

he doesn't want to

we parked a little far from the auto show event because the parking close to the event is super expensive

so we came far and we're getting an uber, it ends up being cheaper

c'mon! anything is possible. Yes you can! Yes you can!

handsome! All you need is your haircut

you would look more handsome

it's really late

They close the event at 10pm

but either way, the plan was to come

And obviously it's.. I think it's all vegan food, but sometimes they put honey in things

so it's vegetarian but

but all the food they have is vegan

we came outside better because they have these

and it's warmer

NFL Is Failing, Record Low Ticket Sales May Doom Organization.

There aren't many things you can purchase these days for only $2.

You can't even buy a gallon of gas for $2.

One thing you can buy with $2, though, is an NFL ticket.

Well, at least on Sunday you could.

In a match-up between the Buffalo Bills and the Indianapolis Colts, Vivid Seats was selling

tickets for as low as $2.

Even the really good seats near the 50-yard line were going for $29.

Granted, there was a snow storm that day in Buffalo, but that game wasn't the only one

selling tickets for extremely low prices.

Tickets for the Green Bay Packers and Carolina Panthers game were going for as low as $7

In contrast, New York Upstate reported that in the same area as the Bills game, a college

hockey team had tickets for $28.

Ouch.

That hurts.

It should be noted that not all teams are suffering from those extremely low ticket

sales, but overall, ticket prices aren't what they used to be.

When Colin Kaepernick started his protests by kneeling during the National Anthem, he

probably never expected the negative impact that his decision would have on the NFL.

The NFL never really learned its lesson, though.

In fact, earlier this year, players doubled down on their protests and continued kneeling

despite pressure from fans to stop.

Fans responded in force by turning the TV off, and they also stopped going to the games.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell needs to learn the basic economic principle of supply and

demand.

Provide a product that people actually want to see, then your prices will skyrocket due

to demand.

Tick your fan base off, and ticket sales will plummet due to the lack of demand.

You know things are bad for the NFL when tickets for the game are cheaper than a hot dog and

drink at the stadium.

Goodell doesn't have the backbone to deal with the protesters, though.

In fact, it was even suggested by some owners that players should just stay in the locker

room during the National Anthem next year.

Yeah, that's a great idea.

Instead of dealing with the problem, let's just try and hide the players.

It takes leadership to run the NFL, Mr. Goodell.

Leadership requires that you make the right decision even when it's unpopular.

It's time to deal with these protesters once and for all.

Require them to stand for the anthem and watch those ticket prices jump back up to normal

levels.

If not, I'll send you a bottle of ibuprofen (which is something else you can't buy for

$2).

You can expect more economic headaches in the future.

On the ground with ICE agents enforcing Trump's immigration crackdown - Duration: 6:47.

JUDY WOODRUFF: Earlier this year, President Trump signed an executive order giving Immigration

and Customs Enforcement officers greater flexibility in arresting undocumented immigrants. The

order also ended the Obama era policy of prioritizing violent criminals and gang members for deportation.

Last week, the agency credited the changes with a sharp drop in apprehensions at the

U.S.-Mexico border and a surge in arrests of undocumented immigrants already living

in the United States.

As P.J. Tobia reports, critics say those arrests are creating fear in immigrant communities,

but agents say they are simply enforcing the law.

MAN: We got three targets today. We're going to start in order A, B, then C.

P.J. TOBIA: Just before 5:00 a.m., a dozen Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents

gather in a strip mall parking lot, reviewing their targets for the day.

MAN: Surveillance shows That an individual fitting this description leaves at 5:00.

P.J. TOBIA: These men and women enforce President Trump's promise to crackdown on illegal immigration.

ICE asked that their officers' faces be obscured for security reasons.

The agents roll out. Their unmarked SUVs turn into a Virginia neighborhood.

MAN: It might be this house here.

MATTHEW MUNROE, Immigration and Customs Enforcement: We will identify all the individuals in the

house, and anybody that's in there of interest to us, either criminal history, is in the

country illegally, public safety threat, we will make those arrests.

P.J. TOBIA: Agents are staking out the home of a Bolivian man with two DUIs and two misdemeanors.

They're eventually let into the house.

The man they're looking for isn't there, but one arrest is made. While investigating the

whereabouts of their target, ICE agents discover a different undocumented man.

MAN: Watch your head.

P.J. TOBIA: Collateral arrests like this one have become more common under President Trump.

Under Obama, this man may not have been arrested at all, to the frustration of some agents.

Matthew Munroe is an assistant field director for Immigration and Customs Enforcement. He's

worked on immigration enforcement for more than two decades.

MATTHEW MUNROE: The target wasn't here at this point, but the -- there were a number

of other individuals in the house that we conducted consensual interviews with, and

one of them was identified as an individual who was in the country illegally.

P.J. TOBIA: At the processing center, the man undergoes questioning. They discover he's

a Nicaraguan national who entered the U.S. illegally in 1988.

Since President Trump took office, immigration arrests are up 42 percent. ICE estimates,

nationwide, they make 400 arrests a day. ICE has arrested 37,000 undocumented immigrants

without criminal records. That's a 145 percent increase over fiscal year 2016.

MATTHEW MUNROE: There have been times in the past that policies have been such that we

have been focused on just certain classes of illegal aliens or people in the country

who are subject to removal. Nowadays, it is, anybody who is in the country illegally is

subject to arrest.

P.J. TOBIA: How is this a different environment than at any other time in your career?

MATTHEW MUNROE: We are enforcing the laws that we were sworn to uphold, and that's what

we're doing nowadays.

P.J. TOBIA: Anyone in ICE custody will eventually find themselves in an immigration detention

center, like this one outside of Farmville, Virginia. Every day, ICE holds between 30,000

and 40,000 immigrants in custody. Next year, the White House is aiming to increase that

number by 20 percent.

Once they arrive at the detention center, they're separated based on factors like immigration

and criminal history. Detainees can meet with a deportation officer to answer questions.

Often, they will act as translators for one another.

But the one question they won't get answered is when they might be deported. The agency

says that information is a security risk.

Macario Diaz Morales (ph) was held in the Farmville detention center for a month-and-a-half.

He was released on bond in early November. We met his wife, Areli Vea Reyna, a few days

later at their lawyers' office, the Legal Aid Justice Center.

Immigration raids in their community made the family too scared to speak to "NewsHour"

in their neighborhood. Our cameras might draw unwanted attention. Areli says she was getting

in her car to leave for work one morning when an ICE agent approached her in the driveway,

asking for her husband.

ARELI VEA REYNA, Husband Detained by ICE (through translator): I would like to speak with him.

OK, I told him. He's asleep. And I left, opened the door and went inside. I closed the door,

but didn't close it well. It was a bit open.

After I called him, I went back, and they were already inside.

P.J. TOBIA: Macario illegally crossed the border into the U.S. from Mexico in 2006.

That same year, he met Areli. She had also come from Mexico, but had been in the U.S.

since 1996. They have five children, three from her previous marriage.

Before he was detained by ICE, Macario supported the family. Areli now works construction to

make ends meet. She says that first night after ICE detained her husband was the hardest.

ARELI VEA REYNA (through translator): It was the first night in 12 years. I had never been

apart from him, nor had he been apart from the kids. It wasn't easy, because I had to

work and help them move forward, pay for what needed to be paid. And when he spoke to me,

he told me not to let him go, not to let him die alone. It's hard.

P.J. TOBIA: According to ICE, Macario was picked up as part of a targeted enforcement

operation, like the one we rode along with. A misdemeanor arrest in July flagged him for

deportation.

MATTHEW MUNROE: They have the potential to be arrested and removed from the United States.

That is the fact. That's the laws that are on the books. It's the mission that we have

been charged with enforcing. From the president, to the secretary, to the director of ICE,

this is what we're going to do.

P.J. TOBIA: As for Macario and his family, he is waiting for approval to join a non-immigrant

U-visa his wife has. Areli is waiting to hear back on her own green card application.

ARELI VEA REYNA (through translator): I understand that the country has its rules, has its laws.

And maybe we have broken that law of coming illegally. One comes for work because of necessity

to move the family forward. And I think, I hope he doesn't go back to Mexico and that

he stays with the family.

P.J. TOBIA: What happens next depends, in part, on what the court decides. They will

find out if Macario can stay lawfully in the United States or if he will be deported back

to Mexico, a life-changing decision, out of their hands, made by a system that's playing

by new rules.

Greetings. Welcome to Amudhas Kitchen.

Today in my Kitchen, I am going to show you how to prepare Christmas Cake in quick and easy way.

No Soaking in Rum/Grape juice needed.

Let's make Cake with & without Oven.

Please note down the ingredients

Let's begin with preparing Cinnamon & Cloves powder

Add some Sugar to it for smooth grinding

Grind them to fine powder

Add Fruits & Nuts to a pan (Don't switch on stove)

You can choose your favorite Fruits & Nuts. I chose my favorite fruits & nuts here.

Mix well

Switch on stove and keep the flame in low to medium.

In about two minutes, sugar and butter start melting.

Make sure Sugar doesn't turn Black or get stuck at the bottom.

We are boiling this mixture because we are not soaking fruits & nuts in Rum / Grape juice for a week / month.

Boiling the mixture helps us to make Christmas Cake instantly.

While boiling, flavors of Fruits, Nuts & Spices mix well.

In about 5 to 7 minutes, mixture boiled well.

Switch off the stove and keep it aside. Let it cool down.

Let's prepare Cake dough.

Sift all pupose flour / maida, baking powder & baking soda.

Lemon Zest - Outer Skin of Lemon

Lemon Zest gives spicy flavor and good taste to cake.

Make sure you don;t add White portion of Lemon as it will add bitter taste to cake.

Beat eggs and add to flour.

Mix well.

Add boiled mixture to Dough.

Mix well.

Let me show you how to bake it in Oven and Cooker/Iron Vessel.

Let's bake it in Oven first

Use Bread loaf pan or round pan for baking.

Use butter paper at the bottom. Apply butter in sides of pan.

Pour Dough mixture to Pan.

Make sure to fill only half of the pan with dough to avoid excess dough flow while baking.

Tap the pan to remove air bubble from dough.

Keep the pan in pre heated Oven.

In the mean time we will bake cake in Cooker / Iron vessel.

You can use Pressure cooker / Iron Vessel / Iron Kadai for baking.

Pre heat Iron vessel in High flame for 10 minutes.

Keep Stand inside the vessel. Make sure enough salt is under the stand.

If you use pressure cooker, you need to follow different procedure.

Watch the video I already published for instructions to use Pressure cooker for baking.

Pour dough in Cup cake liner and keep it in small vessel (Masala Dubba vessels).

Pour half of the cup to make sure dough doesn't over flow while baking.

Tap... to release air bubble.. Air bubble causes cracks in Cakes.

If you use pan for baking cake in Iron vessel, it takes more time for cooking.

That's why I use small vessels to make baking faster..

Keep medium flame.

Transfer vessels to Iron vessel.

Use tooth pick to check if cake baked enough or not.

Cake baked well.

Transfer them to wire rack carefully.

Let's check if Cake is baked.

Transfer it to Wire rack,

Cut it into pieces and serve.

NFL Is Failing, Record Low Ticket Sales May Doom Organization.

There aren't many things you can purchase these days for only $2.

You can't even buy a gallon of gas for $2.

One thing you can buy with $2, though, is an NFL ticket.

Well, at least on Sunday you could.

In a match-up between the Buffalo Bills and the Indianapolis Colts, Vivid Seats was selling

tickets for as low as $2.

Even the really good seats near the 50-yard line were going for $29.

Granted, there was a snow storm that day in Buffalo, but that game wasn't the only one

selling tickets for extremely low prices.

Tickets for the Green Bay Packers and Carolina Panthers game were going for as low as $7

In contrast, New York Upstate reported that in the same area as the Bills game, a college

hockey team had tickets for $28.

Ouch.

That hurts.

It should be noted that not all teams are suffering from those extremely low ticket

sales, but overall, ticket prices aren't what they used to be.

When Colin Kaepernick started his protests by kneeling during the National Anthem, he

probably never expected the negative impact that his decision would have on the NFL.

The NFL never really learned its lesson, though.

In fact, earlier this year, players doubled down on their protests and continued kneeling

despite pressure from fans to stop.

Fans responded in force by turning the TV off, and they also stopped going to the games.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell needs to learn the basic economic principle of supply and

demand.

Provide a product that people actually want to see, then your prices will skyrocket due

to demand.

Tick your fan base off, and ticket sales will plummet due to the lack of demand.

You know things are bad for the NFL when tickets for the game are cheaper than a hot dog and

drink at the stadium.

Goodell doesn't have the backbone to deal with the protesters, though.

In fact, it was even suggested by some owners that players should just stay in the locker

room during the National Anthem next year.

Yeah, that's a great idea.

Instead of dealing with the problem, let's just try and hide the players.

It takes leadership to run the NFL, Mr. Goodell.

Leadership requires that you make the right decision even when it's unpopular.

It's time to deal with these protesters once and for all.

Require them to stand for the anthem and watch those ticket prices jump back up to normal

levels.

If not, I'll send you a bottle of ibuprofen (which is something else you can't buy for

$2).

You can expect more economic headaches in the future.

Good morning, most parts of the country are under cold wave alerts with more regions under

a cold wave warning.

Seoul remains under a cold wave advisory.

It felt like below minus 10 degrees all day here in Seoul due to strong winds...

Today's highs will be higher than yesterday and readings will slowly rise as the week

goes on...

Mostly sunny skies won't do much, with a high of minus 2 degrees Celsius in the capital,

while a dry weather advisory has been issued in Seoul so drink plenty of water.

We'll get a brief relief from the cold snap on Friday and Saturday with mix of rain and

snow expected.

With that, let's take a look at the international weather for viewers around the world.

While many of us in South Korea are still having teeth- chattering temperatures with

more snowfall expected in the easternmost islands of Dokdo and Ullengdo... many regions

in North Korea are having colder readings under mostly sunny skies.
