Youtube daily report Dec 10 2017

Pula was our first introduction to Croatia and what a way to start!

Located on the Istrian peninsula, this seaside town is home to Roman ruins, ancient temples,

and some delicious pizza.

The town won us over right from day one, so in this video, we're going to take you on

a tour of Pula (Pola) and show you some of the highlights:

Alright guys so our first attraction today is going to be the Roman Amphitheater.

And we walked past it on our first day here when we got off of the bus.

It looks amazing.

We've been shooting some photos and videos from the outside.

Just kind of like peeking in through the railing but now it is time to actually dish out some

cash and pay admission so we can see it up close and personal.

So here we go.

Alright Sam so we have made it in got our tickets.

How much was it?

They were 50 Kuna per person and if you take a look at this bill when I flip it over.

10 dollar.

Not 10 dollar.

10 Kuna bill.

10 Kuna bill you might that is a familiar site.

Look at that.

Quite familiar.

The amphitheatre.

Exactly.

And they also gave us like a little brochure so that we can read up.

This is great.

This information and I also really like that you can tour the place by yourself.

Oh yeah, Sam was so worried about being put on a guided tour.

Was not in the mood for that.

Pet peeve?

When I saw a lot of supposedly guided tours I was just like oh my gosh I do not have the

I can't I don't have he patience.

I can't function.

I can't stomach it today.

But it is so good we can do it independently.

Alright let's go explore.

The amphitheatre was built during the reign of Emperor Vespasian, at the same time the

Colosseum in Rome was going up.

What's even more shocking is how well preserved it is; this is the only remaining Roman amphitheater

(Pula Arena) with all four side towers and three stories still standing.

Time for some history lessons with Audrey.

History lessons with Audrey.

You're saying my name in Spanish what is this?

Alright, so this is really cool.

They actually gave us a brochure with information so I don't even have to research anything

afterwards and do narrations.

So let me tell you.

Let's see.

So it said the arena is the most famous and the largest monument in Pula (Pola).

It is visited by more than 400,000 people every single year.

That is a lot.

Also one of the best preserved Roman Amphitheatres and the 6th largest amphitheater in the world.

And let's see what else is there here of interest.

Hmmm.

It could host up to 20,000 spectators.

Wow!

And it dates back to the 1st Century AD.

That is the size of modern like sports stadiums.

Like I'm thinking of some of the ice hockey arenas back in Canada.

They can hold up to 20,000 people or more.

Yeah.

That is crazy.

Except this wouldn't have been hockey.

No.

This would have been people fighting to the death.

There would have been a lot of action going on in here.

As a travel tip if you visit during the summer months you can catch numerous events at the

amphitheater including concerts, movie screenings and even reenactments of games from Ancient

Rome.

Alight, so the plan of action.

We have just finished visiting the Amphitheatre.

It was really really cool.

It was amazing.

Favorite attraction so far even though it is the one and only.

It will be hard to top this one I'm sure but I mean this has been awesome.

The best part has been it was like a 2 minute walk from our place.

Something like that.

Yeah, like our airbnb so close is right down the street from here.

Yeah.

But anyways I'm super hungry.

I wish we could have lunch right now but it is only eleven.

Yes.

And the restaurants don't seem to open until twelve.

So we're going to have to do some sightseeing.

I'm not sure where we are heading next.

Yeah.

But we'll figure it out.

But we have an hour to kill anyways.

Yep.

Let's go.

Okay so we are now walking along the Marina and there is actually a lot of different boat

tours you can take from here to neighboring islands and national parks.

Sam is having some fun taking photos.

So yeah, we're not planning to do a tour today.

We're just thinking food.

Um but yeah it is a really nice place to go for a stroll and yeah next I think we're going

to visit a cathedral.

When it comes to boat tours, the most popular destination is Brijuni National Park, a group

of small islands that sit out on the Adriatic Sea.

The islands have a few archaeological and cultural sites but though admission to the

park used to be free, these days you have to join one of the official excursions arranged

by the park or local tourist agencies.

As for Pula Cathedral (Katedrala uznesenja Blažene Djevice Marije), it turns out it

was closed when we tried to visit, so we can only show you the outside.

After all that wandering around town, it was finally time for lunch.

We arrived at Jupiter Pizzeria just as they were opening and didn't waste any time grabbing

a seat on their outdoor terrace.

Pizza in Croatia.

That is the plan for today's lunch.

And you're probably thinking Pizza?

You're not in Italy order something local.

But pizza is super popular here.

We're basically like right across the sea from Italy.

You've just got the Adriatic in between.

So yeah, pizza is huge here and we're eating at a place called Jupiter Pizzeria.

Apparently it is the top pizza place in the whole city.

Yeah.

We researched it.

We did our research guys.

Oh yeah.

Hahaha.

Yeah, so we just placed our orders.

We're getting one local pizza and another seafood one because we're right by the coast.

So I can't wait for that to arrive.

We also ordered a glass of red wine.

So this is shaping up to be a great meal.

Uh!

I know.

Try that wine for us.

Oh yeah.

Good stuff?

Yes, it is nice full bodied, dry red.

You're going to like this one.

This is good stuff.

Alright guys so the food has arrived.

So so quickly.

I think they just threw in our pizza as soon as we ordered it and check it out.

This one is the frutti di mare.

The seafood one.

And honestly I'm going to have to read the ingredients because there is so many that

I don't even remember.

Yeah.

There is a lot going on.

So frutti di mare.

This one has tomato, cheese, scampi.

I don't know what scampi is.

Mussels, tuna, salted sardines, squid and garlic.

And cheese.

Did I also say cheese?

It has got lots of cheese.

And I ordered the medium size oh my gosh which I think I can totally handle.

But yeah look at that thing of beauty.

The colors.

They also had a jumbo size but there is no way we each needed jumbo.

Yeah, because we're thinking maybe we want dessert so we're going to hold off on the

giant one.

Oh ho ho.

I'm really excited to hear your reaction.

Yeah, at first I was just going to order a tuna one.

I thought that was the only thing they had with seafood.

Yeah.

But then I flipped the page and I saw you had this masterpiece so uh.

That is what we went for.

Uh.

Mmmm.

Oh man.

I got a nice salty sardine in there.

Haha.

That is good stuff.

Really really good stuff.

Alright Sam ready to introduce use to your pizza?

Yes.

We've been neglecting this poor thing over here.

And this is the Istriana one.

Let's read off the ingredients.

The menu.

Because yeah it has a lot.

So it comes with tomato, mozzarella, prosciutto, arugula, rucola.

Let's try that.

Mmmm.

Oh man that is really good.

Yeah?

I'm just totally in my happy place right now.

Eating pizza.

Pizza is one of my all-time favorite foods.

It is what I grew up liking the most as a kid.

And I mean my taste-buds have evolved but I still like a good pizza to me is right near

the top of the food chain.

And you know what is another reason to be in your happy place?

Why is that?

The weather.

Yeah.

You've got sunshine.

I know I'm wearing shorts.

It is like mid to late October right now.

I'm wearing shorts.

Shorts and sandal weather.

I haven't worn shorts in months.

Haha.

So now that we've had our lunch we are walking back up the hill and our next spot is going

to be a fortress we spotted on the way here.

So we'll go check it out and see what it is all about.

The fortress we spotted turned out to be Pula Castle, also known as Kaštel.

Located atop a hill right in the centre of Pula, this fortress was built by the Venetians

during the 17th century.

Admission was 20 kuna per person and there were two different museums exhibits to visit,

however, we'd argue that the main draw are the views.

Slightly blinded by the sun at the moment but we've made it to the top of the fortress

and hands down the coolest part about visiting this attraction are the views.

Yeah.

You get from the top you can see all of Pula.

You've got the amphitheatre off in the distance.

Yep.

And you can also see this iconic bell tower.

You sure can.

And some church that we have not visited yet but I'm sure we'll make time for it soon.

And then over on the other side you get a shot of all of the boats and the water.

Yeah, these massive cranes.

It is really cool.

It is quite the perspective from up here.

So we are now approaching the forum which is kind of like a plaza or a square and this

would have been the center of social life during the Roman times.

And over here on my left we actually have the Temple of Augustus (Augustov hram) so

we're going to go there next.

Have a look.

Actually there is a huge tour group going in there right now so maybe we'll wait a few

minutes and go in after them.

Over the course of the centuries, the Temple of Augustus has seen many uses from a Christian

church to a grain storehouse, but at present, it houses a very small 1-room museum – and

when we say small, we mean you can visit in 5 minutes!

Okay, so we just finished visiting the temple.

It was 10 Kunas each.

Honestly, it is super tiny in there.

It is just one room with some statues and yeah.

That is basically it.

So I mean I don't know if it is worth it.

Maybe if you enjoy antiquities and you want to see some old sculptures.

But it is super small.

Like I think we were in there maybe four minutes and then we walked out.

So yeah, the temple is really cool from the exterior but I guess I'll leave it up to you

to decide whether you want to pay to go in or not.

Then again it is not super expensive.

So this next place is a little bit tricky to find so plotted on Google Maps and it is

going to take you to a parking lot that is correct.

You're going to follow the signs that say Rimski Mozaik and then you're going to walk

through this gate.

Say hello to Sam.

Come on in.

And yeah it honestly looks like you're going to someone's residence.

At first I was like this can't be it.

Yeah but it totally is.

It is just over here.

And then viola here it is.

The Roman Mosaic is just a short walk from the Forum, so it's worth the little detour

down back streets.

This incredible well-preserved floor depicts the Punishment of Dirce, which is straight

out of Greek mythology.

Now we are going to finish the day with some gelato at our airbnb because I feel like we've

earned it.

We've been walking around a lot today.

We deserve gelato.

Of course ice cream is always a must.

Sam want to tell us what you got?

Oh my gosh this is so good.

Waffle cone pistachio.

Yeah.

It is just so so good.

Yeah, he said.

Oh my gosh and it only cost 1 Euro.

So it is currently mid October but this morning we are on our way to the beach.

Um, we actually befriended the guy who sells gelato because we go there so often for ice

cream.

Yeah, it is literally right by our apartment.

Yeah, right outside the gate.

And he was asking us oh have you gone to the beach already and I kind of looked at him

funny like no it is October.

It is cold out.

But he insisted that no the air may be cold but the water is still warm.

So we believed him.

We don't have our swim wear but at least I'm willing to dip my toes in to find out.

We'll dip our feet.

Um, so yeah on our way to

the beach.

Hahaha.

So here we are.

We have made it to the beach.

How many people are swimming in the water Sam?

An absolute grand total of zero.

I think that means the water is cold but let's do a real test.

Oh man.

So here in Croatia it is very rare to find a sandy beach.

It is usually quite pebble-y. Woah woah Sam is going in with sandals and everything.

What is going on over there?

Oh my gosh.

It is definitely not warm.

It is not warm?

It is surprisingly not as cold as I thought it would be but yeah that is absolutely not

swimming weather.

No?

I mean if you look off into the distance they have like a scuba diving school.

Yeah.

And they all have wet suits on so that is a very telltale sign.

And I enjoyed coming here.

Like even though we didn't really go out on the water.

Yeah.

And whatnot.

It was just a nice quiet like peaceful place.

Very different from you know like the city.

Yeah.

So it was worth coming here.

And you can tell that this would be an amazing spot in the summertime.

Like the water is crystal clear.

Look at that.

Yeah.

So yeah, if you're here in summer.

Summer in Pula (Pola).

Check out the beaches.

Definitely.

Yeah.

Lastly to wrap up on our time in Pula we went on a little tour of the city at sunset.

So we'll leave you with a few shots from that.

German Christmas likes and dislikes - Duration: 4:45.

Christmas is nearly here, that traditional time of year

when we eat too much, drink too much and buy too much.

And why not? It's Christmas!

Well, I grew up in Britain but I live in Germany,

so for me Christmas is not the same as it was when I was a child.

So here are some things I like about Christmas in Germany, and some things I don't.

In Germany, you don't have to eat turkey.

I mean, things are different in America, where turkey is actually nice,

but European turkey is basically just a bland and dry version of chicken,

which is ridiculously huge so you're still eating it in June.

But here, you can have goose or duck,

or even chicken if you so wish.

The point is: the choice is yours.

Turkey is available if you really want it,

but as an option — not a must.

And that is definitely a thumbs-up.

However, I'm not so sure about mulled wine.

It is a thing in Britain, but in Germany it's nearly inescapable.

At first, it's a nice, warming drink,

just the thing to keep you going at a Christmas market on a cold and frosty evening.

But as you drink more of it, it becomes less exciting.

You soon come to realize that it's just sickly sweet, even syrupy,

and it's made by taking a cheap wine and then ruining it.

Or, if you're unlucky,

taking a perfectly decent wine and then ruining it.

So, on balance, I'm giving this a thumbs-down.

It's okay at first, but I'd like less of it.

German Christmas is a proper holiday.

I know a lot of people here complain about the shops being shut for two and a half days,

but I love it.

You see, back in the UK you get one day off after all the rampant consumerism,

and then it's straight into the season of blockbuster Boxing Day deals,

50% off buy now while stocks last.

Not so in Germany, where you actually have time to relax.

So thumbs up for that one.

German Christmas carols, however, are just dreadful.

I mean, in Britain, we have carols like:

(Allegro) ♫ Ding, dong, merrily on high, ♫

♫ In heav'n the bells are ringing! ♫

♫ Ding, dong, verily the sky ♫ ♫ Is riv'n with angels singing! ♫

Now, many German carols really should be uplifting, like this one:

(Allegro) ♫ O du fröhliche, o du selige ♫

♫ gnadenbringende Weihnachtszeit! ♫

That's how I think it should be sung, anyway.

Have you looked at the lyrics? It's all about joy and happiness and all that stuff.

But how do they actually sing it?

Like this:

(Lento) ♫ O du fröhliche... ♫

♫ ...o du selige... ♫

♫ ...gnadenbringende... ♫

♫ ...Weihnachtszeit! ♫

Get a grip, Germany!

Thumbs down for your Christmas carols, seriously! You can do better than that.

Christmas markets are pretty nice,

although most of them are a bit samey and the big ones are packed solid.

But don't let that put you off:

there is a reason that they have been successfully exported to the rest of the world.

The best bits?

All that food, and the children's toys from a bygone era.

Christmas doesn't get much more Christmassy than this.

So, thumbs up for that despite the lack of variety.

It would seem, then, that on this highly scientific basis,

German Christmas wins by a narrow margin.

However, you do have to take into account

the fact that Christmas markets are now a thing in many British cities,

so I'd say the gap is probably closing.

Germany, if you want to stay ahead in the game,

the one thing you can do is to sing your Christmas carols as if you mean them,

and stop making them sound like funeral dirges.

Your immigrant communities — and that includes me — will thank you.

Magne Håheim i Afrika - Episode 2 - Duration: 5:53.

I'm traveling with Pink Caravan in Africa

We're going to Malawi

Super nice!

We have been driving through Tanzania in three days

and have arrived in Malawi

We have left behind trafficy roads and crazy driving

All vehicles drove with life as an effort

based on the symbolic text

"In God we trust"

In Malawi there 's not as much traffic

but the roads are worse.

There are bumps, animals and people along the way

Keep some distance from the window

It's time to say good morning to the other bus

We have arrived at our camp in Malawi

After a night of lightning and thunder

we're climbing the mountain Livingstonia

It's our first day off in Africa, and we're hiking in the mountains

It's been raining all night

It's wet and steep

We Scandinavian are tired

while the locals carry goods on their heads

playing music, are in all ages...

Here's a buddy

Hello man! How are you?

I'm fine, and you?

Good!

There you see

He's jogging and enjoying himself

This is the well dressed guy

He's going to a party

Here's not just socks in the sandals

It's socks in flip flops

On a mountain hike

I've got a banana of the locals

and this has to be the best banana I'v ever tasted

So nice and sweet

Gorgeous

I have to focus on the path

When the locals tumbles,

then I should also focus

The youths of Malawi finds their own nicknames instead of their original names

This is "Nutella".

"Nutella" wants to be a doctor, but at the age of 16 he already knows that it will never be a reality.

He is orphaned and he wants to help others who are in the same situation.

The school is far away on a dangerous school road, and the classes are big and lacking teachers.

Instead of becoming a doctor, "Nutella" works with handwork to raise some money for his life in Malawi.

It looks like curry

Wow

Magic!

After several hours of hiking, it's time for a bath.

How long did it take?

Vi left at 7.30

Now it's 12.15

We arrived here at 12

Four and a half hour

I have to see your hands in the air

En dag full av besvikelser | Vlogmas Day 9 - Duration: 5:48.

Hello everyone, today it's vlogmas day 9!

I thought I'd start today's video with a question

I've had a hard time deciding how many of these vlogmas videos I should do in Swedish or in English

The first days' videos were all in English mainly because I didn't have time to transcribe them, to do the subtitles

But now I'm back at home and have more time so I can absolutely do more Swedish vlogs but I just don't know...

It's so hard for me to know in which language I should I should mainly do the vlog

Because right now about 50% of my viewers are from Finland and almost the other half from Sweden

And then of course there's people from other countries which are the smallest percentages

But... it's difficult because I know a lot of Finnish speaker like when I do videos in Swedish but then

there's still more Finnish speaking viewers in general, or at least people from Finland so I don't know, I'm a bit lost

So I'm gonna do a little poll up here. Or is it up there?

In this corner here. So you can let me know which language you'd like most of the Vlogmas videos to be in

I definitely won't start doing just one or the other but it would be nice if I did most of them in the language

most people want them to be in

It feels like that all got very messy but hopefully I've been able to edit it so it makes sense for you

But anyway... So today it's Saturday, my parents have stayed over and we've just sent them off to my sister's

and we're also going there in a few hours for a late lunch.

For once the sun is actually shining and Dave and I are just about to head out because we're going to buy a Christmas tree

We didn't get a Christmas tree.

Dave: They were all too big They were all to big, they were such huge tree and since

were going back to Finland to celebrate Christmas in a week and a half it feels so crazy to buy a huge tree

and spend about 40 pounds for one week's worth of Christmas tree enjoyment. But...

we got some decorations at least.

'Pynt' or 'julpynt', it's like decorations

We bought this for the Christmas tree that doesn't exist. But yeah so that was a bit of a bad start to the day

But, now we've just gotten in the mail a little thing that so that I'll be able to connect my PC to that big Mac screen

Then I'll get to edit using a big screen, I don't know if you can see there that it's a brontosaurus computer

So now we're gonna connect my computer.

This day has only been filled with disappointments.

We're not able to connect my PC to the iMac.

How is this day gonna end??

We got in such a rush, suddenly we realised the train was leaving in 15 minutes so we had to run to the train

and now we've traveled to my sister's to Crystal Palace and now we're gonna have a little family lunch

Cold. Dave: Quite cold.

Here we have my -- oh! Hey sweetie, it's ok, you can sleep. Here we have a sleepy little

-- how many days old is she now? 18 days old, who's my niece

So here you get -- as soon as you walk in through the door, a little treasure is thrown into your arms

So that's quite nice

Look what I have here!

Okay, it just looks like a bunch of fir branches but this is a mini Christmas tree

My mom bought me a little Christmas tree because it turns out the place we wanted to buy ou tree from

they're not getting any more trees at all so then we saw this - ho ho ho!

So my mom said, we'll buy this for me. But I don't know how we'll decorate it.

Okay, the tinsel is bigger than the tree itself.

The tree is ready.

But now we're home anyway and we had a really nice time at my sister's place. My mom had made such tasty

South African boboti it's called which is a mince meat dish that you have with rice and it was really good

I think we're just going to have some tea and sit down in the sofa and maybe watch a movie

Oh sorry, one more thing. We have to watch something Dave's edited

Okay, now were done here! See you again tomorrow! Bye!

DIY How to make Christmas ball with a photo inside (ENG Subtitles) - Speed up #430 - Duration: 2:30.

Hi. Today I will show you how to make Christmas ball with a photo.

I made it by request from my viewers.

Detailed list of all needed items is in the description of this video.

First, copy a circumference of acrylic ball on both photos.

Cut them.

Draw the same circle on the thick paper.

Cut it.

Glue the photos to the paper.

Trim the edge of circle. It should fit inside the ball.

Apply a white paint on the edges of both pieces of ball from the inside by using sponge.

Let it dry.

Apply the glue on the groove in the first piece of the ball.

Glue the photo.

Now, apply the glue on the second piece of ball...

...and glue both pieces together.

Hide the connection by using decorative cord.

Make a bow out of ribbon.

Tie it in a middle.

Attach the bow to the ball.

And it's done.

This Christmas ball is a cool and extraordinary Christmas tree ornament.

You can use the photos of your close ones or just some Christmas pictures.

Please give a like to this video and subscribe to my channel.

Thanks for watching. Bye bye.

I invite you to my Instagram profile.

Winter Trucking - The Preparation! Chains, tyres and more! (ENG Subtitles) - Duration: 10:18.

Welcome to a new episode and today

a very special episode

Like most people now that I'm driving on one of the hardest

country of Europe when it becomes down on winter weather

Norway!

Steep winding mountainroads,

combined with snow and ice

makes it every year a challenge to transport goods from and to this country

I'm now entering my fourth winter and 3 year experience isn't that much here.

But in the meanwhile a learned a lot from different

colleagues'.

So is it essential to prepare yourself in front

and that's why I take you this year with me on my preparation

I don't really have a fixed sequence of steps.

This year it turned out that I start

with checking the chains and changing the mudguards

Why changing the mudguards?

Severals reasosn

I'didn't want any (anti spray)mats in the mudguards.

Mat's are holding the snow

Snow keeps hanging, gets stuck frozen

and results into a lot of weight what might cause cracking the mudguards.

what might cause cracking the mudguards.

Besides that, I wanted an easier way to get between the the tires

for when I have to lay chains.

That's why I cut out the side of this mudguard.

It gives more room, but it's still not the best.

That's why I now just disassemble the whole mudguard

when I've to lay them.

Rattle 13 is in handreach

I loosen up 2 bolts

and hup the whole mudguard off.

I put them in the back of the trailer and done.

When the chains are coming off, I put them back on again

And why not leaving them off all the time?

The tires throwing a lot of junk to the front

front and my chains come unnecessarily full with snow

Because they're hanging behind the driving axle.

Three. With disassemble you damage the paint quickly.

These plastic not painted mudguards are just better to work with.

Top decks pure coincidence that I've painted 2 sets

So that's why they look neat

But closer also not that nice anymore because of this working method,

but it's about functional, not about show.

Every year I take of all the chains from the rack.

I spred them all out on the floor

and check them up for twists and the whole condition.

Twists must come out

and this is what I always check up before laying them.

A twisted chain will get under pressure while driving

and the chance on blowing it will be big

Off course I also look to the general condition.

Like ice chains, here at the right,

you want the studs as long as possible.

Better to buy a new set, then getting in trouble on the road.

After that, I practice every year laying at least 2 chains.

A snow and as an ice chain.

This also because they're getting both locked

on a different way.

Here how you lay down a chain.

You lay the chain next to the tire.

Hook outwards

You take the chain

and put the middle of the chain

on the middle of the tire

The chain needs to be the same depth in the inside and outside of the tire

You put the front of the chain under the tire

You've to put it like this,

that you won't break the hook when you drive forward

Drive the truck a 4th of the tire forwards

After that you hook the back hook in as far as possible.

Then they outside, it has to stand tight.

Next we drive a few meters forwards and backwards

and we can see that the chain is hanging loose again.

We repeat this adjustmentproces again

Make sure that both the inside as the outside

of the chainlocks are hooked in equally

I personally drive here after a few more times back and forward

just to be sure that the chain is locked tight

And I often stop again after a few kilometers

Better sure then sorrow.

End result

The snowchain works with half-moons.

First hook up the chain as far as possible.

Then you lock them down by turning it with a special key.

After this it's time to hang them up again.

Think about the chain you hang up on the outside.

Wisest is to hang the chain outside you're going to use the first

and the most, for easy access.

Practicing in front is very important!

Then you've got the time to watch it and finding it out without a rush

It's definitely not easier

when you've to do it for the first time on dirty wet or slippery road.

And a trailer hanging above.

Besides that, it's important that you know that the chain is the right length.

Even when you buy them for the right tire size,

it's always possible that there's made a mistake.

I experienced it.

A good tool to carry with you is a chainplier.

Does a chain snaps while driving,

Then you can easily cut this row out with this tong

And later fixing it again by adding a row.

You can also make the chain longer or shorter with this.

So, very important

Next step: the tires.

But that was pretty vissible

Where we can get away in Holland with a four season tire

do I need a better wintertyre

One with a softer compound and more siped.

Or slats/lamels.

These characteristics are forming the base for a better suction to the road.

How softer the tire and the more slats/lamels,

the better the grip in the winter.

The Norwegians are often driving on very soft tires, like a Nokian.

In my work this is detrimental.

Because I'm going through a lot of temperature changes,

the tire will wear out pretty fast and can it get worn out with 80k kilometers.

That's why I also choose this year for Continental HWD and HSW Scandinavian

A tire who has proven itself at me on subjects as grip and lifespan

With my old set conti's I drove easily 240k Kilometeres.

What is very good for a wintertyre and my configuration.

Besides that it's a very comfortable and trustable tyre with winter conditions

Especially when you're coming from a 4 season tyre,

you notice what a wintertyre like this does.

From now I'm buying every year a new tyre set.

After the first winter you're losing about 30-40% grip

Financial it may be a little bit more expensive,

but my safety is worth more than a bit money.

So, the biggest steps are made.

What now rests, is taking the gravel and salt with me.

Something I'm being very happy with every year.

When I park my truck somewhere for the night and I don't thrust the road,

I'll first let my tyres cool down for 10 minutes.

Next some gravel for the wheels and drive it on there.

It will guarantee that you can drive off the next morning.

Also in docks is it ideal.

You don't have to throw meters,

it's pure getting some speed.

When it rolls it rolls.

I also take a shovel with me.

Always usefull to shovel some snow away.

You can really prevent a lot of damage.

I'm also carrying enough food and drinks, flashinglight,

I think it's like the general stuff we're carrying normally with is us too.

But also my winterboots,

But also my wintersuit!

For when it's dirty and cold weather.

And when I've to lay snowchains while there wet junk, I'm using this too.

Don't forget to take a cover for your seats,

because putting the suit on and off is also a lot of work.

And we want to keep everything nice and clean

Besides that I'm keeping during the trip an eye on weatherupdates

and am I'm familiar with the numbers I can call from organizations

who can tell me more about roadconditions of certain roads.

And sometimes I ask truckdrivers and snowplowers how the roads further up are.

And stop when the weather is getting too bad.

It can save you from a lot of trouble.

And that's bassicly it.

But even when you're having years of experience,

it's always important that you remain calm,

drive with your mind,

listen to your surroundings

and with a bit of luck everything will be all right.

I wish you all a nice and safe winter

and see you next time!

Cat snacks and treats - Duration: 3:05.

Snacks for cats - how to make it?

Where to buy it? And how to get 5% discount

on Christmas gifts for your cats? Those are questions I'm going to answer during this video

keep watching :)

Pet owners that gave up feeding kibble to their cats

often keep using dry food

as a treats for toys

and rewards for their cat's

for their good behavior But keep in mind that kibble can be easily replaced

with snacks made of dried meat

You can use homemade dried meat snacks

or buy it at pet store

If you decide to buy, remember that it should be 100% meat

Kocimiętka.pl store sent me two kinds of dried meat so I can show it to you

The first one is MeatLove snakcs

which is 100% dried meat of deer in the shape of tiny cubes

The second one is pork snacks of Wiejska Zagroda

which is 100% dried pork stomach

in various shape

Links in the description

If you feed snacks to your cat every day

remember to count them into your cat's diet

If you feed barf to your cat

you can use meat that you use for barf to make snacks

For example, this I expect

to give birth to a baby

so I realize that I'm going to need a lot more snacks

to put it in cat's toys

to keep them from boredom while I'm at the hospital

and as a treat for good behavior when I get back home with newborn baby

(by the way, if you wonder how to prepare your cats

for welcoming new baby, don't forget to hit subscribe button :)

Cat's are going to eat a lot of snacks

so I will make snacks of small part of the meat that I'm going to use for barf

it's pork meat and goose hearts

It's better to use lean meat for snacks

that's why I cut off

all the fat - I'm still going to use fat parts for barf

Lean parts I cut in small portions

I put cut meat on baking paper

It shouldn't touch each other, but they can stay close to each other

the meat is going to shrink while dried

After putting meat into oven we choose temperature to be 30-40C

and leave door slightly open

We leave meat in the oven for 6 hours

Then you can turn the oven off

and leave the meat overnight

Next day, repeat

let it dry in 30-40C

for 6 hours

Snacks made this way you can store for few weeks

in a box filled with paper

That's all I have to say about snacks for cats

But as I promised last week I have 5% discount

for Christmas gifts for your cats at kocimiętka.pl

Kocimiętka.pl is a store where you can buy not only cat snacks, but also supplements for barf

good quality wet food

cat litter and other pet related stuff

To make use of the discount

you need to use "lovelorien" code

the discount is available for 50 first buyers, so do no hesitate

Remember to share video with your friends

so they can also make use of the discount :)

10 Things to do in Pula, Croatia Travel Guide - Duration: 17:25.
