Foods Dogs Can and Can't Eat! Safe and Unsafe Foods for Dogs to Eat or Avoid! - Duration: 5:03.
Hey guys, it's Stephen and Ellie the Chihuahua here, we upload new videos
every Sunday on the Relax My Dog YouTube channel and this week we're
going to be talking about foods which are safe and unsafe for your dog to eat
let's start with a food that is unsafe for your dog to eat and that is
avocado, I actually found that to be really surprising because avocados are
so healthy for humans but apparently not for dogs, avocados are toxic to dogs
because they contain Persin in their leaves, seeds, bark, fruit, you want to make
sure that they're not eating avocados because you don't wanna poison your dog
that includes guacamole, don't give them any guacamole
another food that is toxic to dogs is grapes and raisins, again these are things that you
have in your house all the time you wouldn't even give a second thought to
giving a child a raisin or easting a grape, they can actually cause your dog's
kidneys to fail and shut down which ultimately causes death so you
definitely want to make sure that you're not dropping grapes or raisins on the
floor and allowing them to eat it because it's not good, I spoke about this
next one in a few previous videos but onions and garlic are again toxic to your
dog, believe it or not onion and garlic destroys a dog's red blood cells which
ultimately leads to anemia they can become very weak, breathless, vomit
everywhere, you don't want to give them onions and garlic! Next up is high fatty
foods like bacon and bacon fat. High-fat foods like bacon can cause pancreatitis
in dogs and also fatty foods generally contain a lot of salt and salts will
make your dog very thirsty and drink a lot more water than they should, which
will make them bloat and can ultimately be fatal
as for this next one I'm sure you've all heard it before if you own a dog but
chocolate is lethal to your dog, do not give your dog chocolate, I hope I'm
gonna pronounce this correctly but in chocolate there's Theabromine
it's fine for humans but for a dog it is not good, this is found more in dark chocolate and
baking chocolate, it can cause your dog to have abnormal heart rhythms as well as
tremors, seizures, which again ultimately lead to death so keep chocolate away from your dog
but now on to something a bit more positive, apples are a food that
your dog can eat and so long as you cut away the inside and remove all the seeds
they are a very healthy nutritious fruit for dogs just like they are for
humans, although saying that she's now gone camera shy and has decided not to eat
the apple, thank you Ellie, but she does light them normally. Staying on the fruit
theme, watermelon is a great fruit for your dog to eat, the main thing you
want to do is just get rid of any seeds that are inside the watermelon and you
don't want the dog to eat the rind of the watermelon but otherwise it's a
really healthy, nutritious, refreshing fruit your dog to eat, again another
foods that you may have already heard of is peanut butter, Ellie loves peanut
butter, absolutely loves it, it's great to put in her treats, in her Kong it entices
her to eat her food, got lots of protein in there, I always make sure that I go to
my local pet store and get peanut butter that is specifically made for dogs to
eat because you never know what could be put in there, it could be extra salt if it's human peanut butter
another food that is safe for your dog to eat in
small quantities is cheese, who'd have thought? Now I just want to say cheese is
not suitable for all dogs if your dog has an intolerance to dairy or needs to
be lactose free you don't want to give it to your dog but Ellie is absolutely
fine with cheese again small quantities as a treat every now and then there's
nothing wrong with it, you don't want to be giving them moldy cheese either
just stick to plain cheddar or something that's nice and fresh
wolfing it down, wolfing it down! And finally another food that is safe for your dog
to eat is sweet potato so long as it's been thoroughly cooked and the skin has been
removed because they don't really like that, I know a lot of dog treats that you
can buy already contain sweet potato, I recently made a winter warmer soup
on the Relax My Dog YouTube channel and I put sweet potato in that and Ellie
absolutely adored it and ate the whole bowl really quickly
if you enjoyed this video please give us a like and make sure you hit that subscribe button and
notification bell so you know when we're gonna be uploading our next video
please let me know in the comments down below what your dog's favorite food is
otherwise we'll see you next week, say bye bye Ellie
We're not playing fetch today apparently! Bye!

How to Grow your YouTube Channel Super Fast in 2018 / You have to Upload Consistently / Elevation - Duration: 7:11.
yo yo yo CPA strength here back with another 8 a.m. upload
about what I've been grinding so hard I don't even know how many you daily
upload this is this is gonna be a video on how to get thirty four thousand
subscribers in YouTube you got to focus on the content I see so many people out
there just spinning you know stay they have one video up it's not that great
because maybe you have two or three videos up it's not that great and then
you're out and then you're out in everyone's comments sections hey
subscribe to me hey look at my channel look at my channel and now there is a
place for that I call that grinding in the comments like you know if you're if
you're a creator and you're watching a video and you don't leave a comment
that's but that's for later on if you do like a sub for sub or you're just a
people's comment sections and and you're just doing all these things just to get
subscribers well that's great and now they'll be notified maybe when you
upload a new video that doesn't mean they like your content are they gonna
watch it so you're gonna have a couple hundred subscribers and beginning no
views on on your videos and that's suspect to everybody and no one you know
that's not going to eat you views and you got to get people to like your you
gotta make good content if you want to get to 34,000 like all the games all all
the games are you know for later I would say you have a have a consistent
uploading schedule like say you starting from scratch
one start with one video a week for six months
and then if you can do that what's that that's uh you'll have 26 videos in half
a year you know that first video is gonna take
you four her to put out you're gonna be so
nervous it's gonna be it's gonna be hot trash it's gonna be it's just not going
to be good you know maybe the first video is going to take four or five or
six or seven or eight hours all the editing all the different stuff and it's
going to be so stressful so I try I try to make little improvements and now
here's the thing schedule them for a week a week apart I
know what happens is a lot of because I have I've had some friends who've tried
to create channels and they have created and I have a friend with he gots like
400 subscribers and but it's really really hard
well you know what you would do what I would do in the beginning that's why I'm
giving you a pro tip right here inside you have thirty four thousand
subscribers schedule them you YouTube has has an option to schedule this
remember this you don't know what I'm talking on now but after you make your
first code is scheduled them because say say you're gonna upload every every
Friday night at six o'clock that's your upload I don't know it could be anything
just Friday night at six and that's when you tell your people hey I'm gonna be
back next Friday night at six a week later and just start off yes I do daily
but I didn't start daily I started weekly and that was that's so hard if
you haven't done videos but anyways you're gonna put out a Sunday video and
you're gonna be loved and you're gonna get some good responses there might be
someone besides one of your friends or your mom or dad that watches the video
and you're like what this is cray-cray and you're gonna like I need to put out
another video I do videos every day I'll do videos every day and and listen make
the video because you have the passion but don't upload it yet
don't upload it schedule it for the next week okay have now here's the thing if
you have full if you have a month videos canned then you can start you know if
you go if you have four four Fridays at four three three or four Friday's
scheduled and then you have it in for a sheet on top of that then you can
just upload then you can maybe start doing two a week and start sprinkling
those in but I'm telling this happened to me though is when I was over the
summer when I was doing five five a week or I started doing daily I think I was
doing just the weekdays I had I had like four or five or six days like all ready
to go and you know I had a rough time I didn't feel like uploading I didn't feel
like doing YouTube I just hit like a little I don't know you know my soul
cycle little downward cycle of the wave I just didn't feel like it and what was
cool was I was able to still have my upload schedule because you know I saved
them for later oh my god this videos too long okay so I would say so the thing is
just concentrate to get thirty four thousand subscribers and I would know
one of my biggest tips for beginning youtuber is just concentrate on the
content this if you make good content the subs will come what it's like if you
play the evil coma or something feel the dreams but like if you make good content
the subs will come the views will come you'll start to get people who watch
your content wait for your content they'll start to comment like and it'll
maybe they'll share it you know it just consistent uploading is a huge key and
don't waste time on other stuff like trying to get subs like hey would you
sub to me hey would you sub to me now there is a time and a place for doing
that in comment sections but I'm saying see what I'm saying is having like 26
videos six months worth so then you can just start commenting on every video and
having people trying to come over to your video or to
your channel but then when they're on your channel now you actually have like
26 videos over six months and you're a builder legit so yeah they're gonna
they're gonna subscribe and they might watch they might binge watch all this
good stuff so anyways this is CPA strength with how to grow your YouTube
channel and I'm out currently at thirty-four thousand subscribers so this
is why it's how to grow how to get thirty four thousand subscribers on
YouTube until next time I'm out deuces

PhocusWire Q&A Lottery no 2 at Phocuswright 2017 - Jill Menze - Duration: 4:19.
- I'm Jill with PhocusWire
and I'm here with Kari and Lisa
from Expedia Media Solutions.
They're going to play our little 10 questions game.
So who would like to go first?
- I'll start.
Would you quit your job,
if you won a huge sum of money on the lottery?
I don't think I would quit my job.
I think I would work part time,
because you like the complexity of going to work,
you are very social at work
and I think if I didn't work or have something
to push me forward, I might become very boring and lazy.
- Very good.
- Mine is why isn't the survival rate higher
for travel startups?
Well, I think it's a tough market.
I think there are lots of seasoned players
and customers are interested in really great solutions
and that can take time to develop,
but we want everybody to be successful,
because travel is such a great market.
- That was a great question.
(chuckling)
Does the industry or travelers drive evolution?
I think it's a little bit of both.
The industry is constantly evolving
to match customer expectations, but customers
are also driving those expectations
on what they're experiencing in other industries,
so a lot of times what we've seen in tech
trickles over to travel and vice versa
and I think that we'll continue to evolve
and it's very much the chicken and egg.
It's always going to keep changing.
- Okay.
What are the gaps in your knowledge experience
in the travel industry?
I think the great thing about the travel industry
is it's incredibly varied, so we all have knowledge
we can keep gaining.
For me, it's learning more and more about our markets,
especially in the Asia-Pacific region.
- When was the last time you wrote a letter by hand?
(chuckle)
I do not know.
(laugh)
- Elementary school.
- What question do you never wanna be asked in interviews?
Wow.
That's a really good one.
I don't know.
I think that all the questions
are really great and insightful.
Maybe around what's my favorite food,
because it's really hard to pick; I have lots of favorites.
(chuckle)
- What number are we on?
- I think this is four.
This is four?
- Yes.
What is the biggest opportunity in the travel industry?
I think the globalization of travel
and the rise of online continues to be a huge opportunity,
because it's making everyone more connected.
It's creating more conversations and opportunities
for discovery and I think that's really gonna
drive a lot of things forward.
- What travel industry development or brand
do you wish you thought of first?
Expedia.
I think they've been around for a long time
and they really revolutionized travel,
so I'm glad to be a part of that now
and keep building on that success.
- Last one, make it good.
- All right.
Identify a mistake
you see people making more than any other.
Calling people out on their mistakes, publicly.
(laughing)
I don't know; do you have an add to that?
- I think it's just not having patience.
I think everybody can do with more kindness and patience,
especially traveling, because there's so much you can learn
in all the places that you go.
- One more for you.
- Okay.
- Oh, I thought I was sharing the last one.
(crosstalk)
- So last question.
What assumptions about travelers
have you discovered not to be true?
I think the biggest assumption is everybody's alike,
and they're not.
Travel is highly personal and I think
that's important to remember
as people plan and execute their trips.
It's about what you want and what inspires you.
- Great.
Thank you Kari.
Thank you Lisa.
- Thanks for having us.
- Good luck you guys.
- Thank you.

Snow Day: Learn English Words and Phrases ❄️ ⛄️ - Duration: 3:38.
- Hello everybody, this is Jack
from tofluency.com.
And in this English lesson,
I'm going to teach you some phrases
related to snow.
Firstly, this snow was completely unexpected.
We were going to travel somewhere yesterday,
but we had to cancel our plans, we had to put it off.
But we have taken advantage of this amazing weather.
We have spent a lot of time outside
and later on I'm going to make a snowman.
Not do a snowman, but make a snowman.
The next phrase I want to teach you is this:
It has been snowing for over 24 hours now.
It has been snowing for over 24 hours now.
So that is using the present perfect continuous.
And we use this when we're talking about a duration
that started in the past
and continues now.
We use the continuous form when we use continuous verbs.
To snow is a continuous verb.
It has been snowing for over 24 hours now.
Most kids want the snow to last forever.
So what you'll hear is people say
I hope it doesn't melt soon.
I hope it doesn't melt soon.
We're using hope to talk about desired outcomes.
I hope it doesn't melt soon.
In America, you'll hear let's go sledding.
Sledding.
And you do this on a sled to go sledding.
In the UK you'll hear let's go sledging.
And you do this on a sledge.
They both mean the same thing, but it's just a difference
between British and American English.
Yesterday all the schools were closed
because it wasn't safe for the school buses
to drive on the roads.
Now, this is called a snow day.
A snow day.
And a snow day is just when the schools are closed.
And obviously, kids love snow days.
But, teachers do too.
Teachers love snow days just as much as the kids do.
With snow and the weather in general,
people use be going to or will
to talk about what it's going to do or what it will do
in the future.
For example, they say that it's going to stop
in about an hour or two hours.
They say it's going to stop in about an hour or two hours.
And finally, if you go out in the snow,
you have to wrap up warm.
You have to wrap up warm.
And this just means to put on lots of warm clothes.
So you'll hear parents say, wrap up before you go outside.
Wrap up before you go outside.
So I hope you have enjoyed this lesson.
If you have, please like and share it.
And let me know, when was the last time
it snowed where you live?
Or does it ever snow where you live?
Leave a comment below, let me know if you have any questions
and go watch one of my other English lessons.
Thank you for watching.

16 kids explain what it means to be a grandmother – Julie's explanation is priceless
Kids can always make you laugh, but sometimes they can be wise as well.
Their perspective on the world is often somewhat… unique.
Here are 16 gems of wisdom from kids that might teach adults a thing or two about life.

His Wife Leaves Him And Their Baby – His Letter To Single Dads Is An Inspiration - Duration: 3:17.
His wife leaves him and their baby – his letter to single dads is an inspiration
There are a lot of single parents out there working hard to raise a family.
However, it is much more likely for a father to leave the mother to raise the child or
children on her own.
But it's not always the case…
In January 2015, Richard's life completely changed.
He became a dad for the first time.
But Richard's luck soon ran out and his life was turned upside down again.
When Richard's daughter, Persephone, was only a month old, his wife took her away from
him and moved to California.
She was most likely suffering from postpartum depression which left her panicked and unable
to properly care for their child.
She threatened to put their daughter up for adoption unless Richard immediately came and
took her.
Richard definitely didn't want to lose his daughter and went straight to California to
pick her up.
Richard was happy to be reunited with his daughter, but their future was uncertain.
He had never taken care of a child by himself before and didn't know where to begin.
In his desperation, Richard turned to an unexpected source of help, a Facebook group called Life
of Dad.
The single-parenting group gave Richard the support he needed to pull through.
He wrote an open letter to the group, that's warming hearts and inspiring single parents.
Here's his beautiful message:
"My name is Richard Johnson and I'm a single father to a beautiful little girl called
Persephone.
Her mother left us about a month after she was born.
We still do not know exactly why, but we suspect that birth depression has played a major role
in this.
In the first few weeks of it being just her and me, I stumbled upon your page by accident.
I was so nervous and scared about being a father in general, but now I was a single
father and had to fulfill two roles.
I wasn't sure I could do it."
I had read every 'new parent' book I could find and clocked in over 1,000 hours in YouTube
videos from everything to braiding hair and painting nails to theories on how to deal
with common parental issues.
I then started to watch your page more closely and saw that there were other fathers out
there who were in similar predicaments as me.
The page started to turn into a major confidence booster and really helped me through all of
this.
I always look forward to photo submissions and reading the stories of some of the awesome
dads out there in this community.
You truly helped my daughter and me through a very difficult time.
We're both very happy now and continue to grow together everyday.
She's now 10 months, and I now get asked by my friends for parenting advice constantly.
We've come a long way, my daughter and me, and we definitely owe part of that to this
page and the people within it.
So from both of us, we wanted to thank you.
Sincerely, Persephone & Richard Johnson" Richard seems to be doing just fine and we
wish he and his daughter all of the luck and happiness in the future!
It's tough being a single parent, whether you're a mom or a dad.
And everyone who does it deserves all the praise in the world.
Please share Richard's encouraging words with your friends.
Maybe you know someone who's in the same situation.

Top 10 Most Mysterious Discoveries of South America! Archeology of Peru, Chile, Bolivia, and more! - Duration: 13:11.
South America is indeed a magical continent over the years more attention
was brought to Africa and the Middle East as they were considered more exotic
locations with natural wonders and mysterious sites but South America has a
lot of hidden gems to offer here are the top ten mysteries that you'll find south
of the Equator
number 10 the palenque ruins Mexico the Mayan civilization flourished for
centuries and then it abruptly came to an end there are many theories about why
it collapsed but there is still no definite answer as to what caused the
downfall of the Mayans ancient ruins of cities and temples from the Mayan period
could provide valuable insight into this research because many sites of the
Mayans have been preserved in their entirety to this very day one such place
is the city-state called the Palenque this city-state is also known as la cama
which could be translated as big water Palenque was at the height of its power
in the 8th century AD but it existed for more than a thousand years the ruins of
this Mayan city have been dated from 226 BC all the way to 799 ad which is an
astonishing timespan Palenque is such an important historical site because it has
plenty of sculptures and inscriptions of the Mayan civilization as well as many
palaces squares and temples helping us to have better insight into these
ancient people number 9 Easter Island Chile many of you might be surprised at
the mention of Easter Island but it is indeed part of the South American
continent Easter Island formally belongs to the
territory of Chile although it lies approximately 2,200 miles away from it
Easter Island became inhabited when the Polynesian people came to live on it
around 1000 ad they created a rich powerful culture which thrived in the
centuries to come these people eventually came to be known as Rapa Nui
they were very successful in terms of building a civilization but many factors
including deforestation of their Island and overpopulation of that same small
space led to their weakening when the Europeans arrived in 1772 Easter Island
had a population of only two thousand inhabitants compared to more than ten
thousand people a couple of decades before that in the 19th century they
were close to extinction but have managed to survive an increase in
numbers Easter Island and the Rapa Nui are most famous for the moai big human
figures carved in rock in the 13th and 14th centuries ad to this day we're not
exactly sure why these statues were made or why they had to be so big check out
our video on the top 10 lost civilizations to learn more about the
people of Easter Island number 8 the Brazilian Stonehenge in the amaavas
state in Brazil there is a national park called the parque archaeological doe
solstice IO in it there are huge circles made of stones which people call the
Stonehenge from the Amazon or the Brazilian Stone hedge there are a
hundred and twenty seven stones in total with each of them measuring around 13
feet tall all located near the bank of the river called the Rago grande and
position in a big 100 foot diameter circle design hasn't been scientifically
dated so we cannot say exactly when the structure came into being however based
on the carbon dating if some pottery found on location we could make safe
estimate and say that the stones are between 500 and 2,000 years old
obviously this side is much younger than the famous stonehenge in england but
scientists believe that it may have had a similar purpose such as a burial place
or an astronomical centre or even a ceremonial location also it is not clear
whether the stones were brought from afar or used directly from the location
number seven the city of Taiwan aku Taiwan aku is located in present-day
Bolivia and is another archaeological site from the pre-columbian period
according to archaeological research this was a powerful city in its heyday
and it most likely was at the height of its power in the beginning of the first
millennium ad we're still not sure exactly how big this city was because
only a small portion of it has even been excavated by archaeologists also it is
not known exactly how powerful Tawana qu was but it is safe to say that it had a
major political influence reaching all the way to present-day Peru and
Argentina another interesting thing about this ancient city is that Tawana
qu is in a way its modern name because that's how it became to be known the
original name of this place has been lost perhaps due to the fact that the
inhabitants of the ancient Tawana qu didn't have a developed writing system
since there is still a lot to be excavated and a lot of research the
following decades might provide a better insight into the life of ancient Tawana
qu and we might learn more about their culture number 6 the upside down stairs
of saxon women the ancient complex of Saxa holman in present-day Peru holds a
great many structures of wondrous beauty and the city is renowned for its
marvelous stone creations the people inhabiting this location didn't have any
modern tools or machinery though yet they were still able to construct
structures with great precision on this location there was one stone structure
that's particularly interesting a huge stone structure resembling a flight of
stairs but they're turned upside down if you think about it it's very hard to
explain such a structure first of all why was it built but more importantly
how was it built given the time period this mystery gets even more complicated
when we consider the fact that the structures are not made of concrete for
example but instead of granite and granite is the hardest type of rock very
hard to work with but even if we answered this question there's still the
problem of the upside down stairs some speculate that since there are
structures that don't seem to be upside down around it there must have been a
disaster such as an earthquake that move things around but it's only speculation
maybe they were just trying to beat Asher to their own version of relativity
number five stone spheres Costa Rica located on the cono Islands in the D
quie Delta there are 300 spherical objects made of rock they are known
among the locals as las bolas or the balls it is believed that these spheres
were made by the decree people for some sort of ceremonial
although this is debatable these Spears are different in size ranging from just
a couple of centimeters to more than two meters and 15 tons most of these spheres
were made out of a rock type called gob row although there are some in
limestone and sandstone again it is not clear how they were made but it is
presumed that they were hammered by using other big rocks after the rough
work was done the bowlers were turned into fine smooth spheres through sand
polishing there are also many myths and legends around these stone balls for
example that they came from the ancient civilization of Atlantis or that nature
itself carved them just as they are the stone spheres of Costa Rica continue to
amaze tourists with their simplicity and beauty number 4 Nazca lines Peru there
was a series of ground motives in present-day Peru in the Nazca desert
from which they got their name the lines form different kinds of images and
figures with the largest figures being 370 meters long some of those shapes
resembled those of the para Scott's culture another ancient people but
archeologists believe that they also come from the Nazca culture the Nazca
lines were first detected by the Spanish conquistadors and ever since that time
they have been the center of attention for a great number of scientists the
Nazca lines have a pretty simple design and it wasn't very hard to figure out
how they were made the lines were created directly in the
ground by uncovering the white ground under the rocks and pebbles this was the
easy part so to say as archaeologists have had a much harder time in figuring
out why these lines were made many scientists agree that the Nazca lines
had to have had some sort of religious purpose one theory is that the Nazca
people made the lines for their gods so that they can see them from far away in
the sky another possibility is that the Nazca people wanted to scheme out the
flow of water to help them in water rituals which were intended to summon
water for irrigation maybe they were to signal UFOs number three akhom bottle
figurines this is the name for 33,000 small fee
means made of ceramic which were found in the town of Ockham Baro the figurines
were found in 1944 and right away they started attracting a lot of attention
because they resembled dinosaurs there were many people that instantly believe
that as statues were a solid proof for the theory of the coexistence between
humans and dinosaurs however this has been rejected as scientifically
insufficient the figurines were dated and at first they were thought to be at
least 4,000 years old but these findings were later dismissed because one
scientist suggested that the figurines were heated too low to offer validating
results it turned out that it will be impossible to accurately date these
figurines and there's still a lot of speculation about their true origin with
some even believing that the whole thing is a hoax one American archaeologist
proposed that I come borrow figurines didn't have dirt in their crevices and
that there were no signs of aging on their surface meaning that they were
likely planted just for cash grabbing reasons and nothing more
number 2 band of holes Peru band of holes is the name for 5,000 man-sized
holes located in the Pisco valley of the greatest mysteries of South America
because no one including the locals know who made the holes or for what purpose
the holes are around 20 H deep with a greatest problem however is determining
the reason behind their making there are various theories about this the first
idea was that they were simply burial grounds but this was pretty far-fetched
another idea was that the holes could have been storage pits for the Incas
although it wasn't clear what could have been kept in the holes
however archaeologists who came here in 2015 made a detailed drone scan map of
the area their research supported the hypothesis
that the band of holes was actually some sort of outdoor measuring device for the
crops that were given to Inca state as a tax or tribute number 1 Machu Picchu
Peru this is probably one of the most famous
sites in South America Machu Picchu translated as old peak is an Incan
Citadel on a mountain ridge 8,000 feet high Machu Picchu is one of the most
important sites connected to the ancient Inca civilization what's interesting
about Machu Picchu is that the Spanish conquistadors never managed to find it
mainly due to its specific location which is why it is practically intact
and what's even more amazing is that it lies only 50 miles away from Cusco which
was the capital of the Incas it wasn't discovered until the 19th century but it
gained worldwide notoriety in 1911 initially believed to be the lost city
of the Incas it turned out that Machu Picchu was something else entirely it is
probably in a state for one of the Inca emperors but the irony is that the place
never came into full use only 100 years after it was built
Machu Picchu was deserted because of the upcoming Spanish invasion and the
destruction of the Inca Empire it is also possible that most of the
inhabitants of the area died of smallpox brought on by the Spanish who came very
close to this region all I know it's not clear what exactly could have been the
purpose of building Machu Picchu and moreover what this place could have
become in the centuries to come tell us about your visit around the world even
where you want to go is there something you want to learn about tell us in the
