Youtube daily report Dec 12 2017

A few years ago, about seven years ago,

I found myself hiding in a festival toilet,

a music festival toilet,

and if anyone's been to a music festival,

yeah, you'll know that by the third day,

it's pretty nasty.

I was standing in the toilet because I couldn't even sit down,

because the toilet roll had run out,

there was mud everywhere,

and it smelled pretty bad.

And I stood there thinking,

"What am I doing? I don't even need the toilet."

But the reason I went

was because I was volunteering for a large charity on climate justice,

and it was seven years ago,

when lots of people didn't believe in climate change,

people were very cynical about activism,

and my role, with all of my teammates,

was to get people to sign petitions on climate justice

and educate them a bit more about the issue.

And I cared deeply about climate change and lots of inequality,

so I'd go and I'd talk to lots of people,

which made me nervous and drained me of energy,

but I did it because I cared,

but I would hide in the toilets, because I'd be exhausted,

and I didn't want my teammates doubting my commitment to the cause,

thinking that I was slacking.

And we'd go and meet at the end of our shift,

and we'd count how many petitions had been signed,

and often I'd win the amount of petitions signed

even though I had my little breaks in the toilet.

But I was always very jealous of the other activists,

because either they had the same amount of energy

as they had when they began the shift of getting people to sign petitions,

or often they had more energy,

and they'd be really excited about going to watch the bands in the evening

and having a dance.

And even if I loved the bands,

all I wanted to do was to go back to my tent and have a sleep,

because I'd just feel completely wiped out,

and I was really jealous of people that had the energy

to go and party hard at the festivals.

But it also made me really angry, as well, inside.

I thought, "This isn't fair, I'm an introvert,

and all of the offline campaigning seems to be favoring extroverts."

I would go on marches which drained me.

That was the other option.

Or I'd go and join campaigns outside embassies or shops.

The only thing that was on offer was around lots of people,

it was very loud activism,

it always involved lots of people, it was performing.

None of it was for introverts,

and I not only thought that that wasn't fair,

because a third to a half of the world's population are introverts,

which isn't fair on them, because we burn out,

or we'd be put off by activism and not do it,

and everyone needs to be an activist in this world.

And also, I didn't think it was particularly clever,

but I could see that a lot of the activism that worked

wasn't only extrovert activism.

It wasn't only the loud stuff.

It wasn't about people performing all the time.

A lot of the work that was needed was in the background,

was hidden, wasn't seen.

And when I ended up just being a campaigner,

because it's the only job I can do, really --

I was campaigning at university,

and for the last 10 years, I've been a professional campaigner

for large charities,

and now I'm a creative campaigner consultant for different charities

as well as other work I do --

but I knew that there were other forms of activism that were needed.

I started tinkering about seven years ago

to see what quieter forms of activism I could engage with

so I didn't burn out as an activist,

but also to look at some of the issues I was concerned about in campaigning.

I was very lucky that, when I worked for Oxfam and other big charities,

I could read lots of big reports

on what influenced politicians and businesses

and the general public,

what campaigns worked really well, which ones didn't.

And I'm a bit of a geek, so I look at all of that stuff,

and I wanted to tinker around

to see how I could engage people in social change in a different way,

because I think if we want the world to be more beautiful, kind and just,

then our activism should be beautiful, kind and just,

and often it's not.

And today, I just want to talk about three ways

that I think activism needs introverts.

I think there's lot of other ways, but I'm just going to talk about three.

And the first one is: activism is often very quick,

and it's about doing,

so extroverts, often their immediate response to injustice is,

we've got to do stuff now,

we've got to react really quickly --

and yes, we do need to react,

but we need to be strategic in our campaigning,

and if we just act on anger,

often we do the wrong things.

I use craft, like needlework --

like this guy behind me is doing --

as a way to not only slow down those extrovert doers,

but also to bring in nervous, quiet introverts into activism.

By doing repetitive actions,

like handicraft, you can't do it fast, you have to do it slowly.

And those repetitive stitches

help you meditate on the big, complex, messy social change issues

and figure out what we can do

as a citizen, as a consumer, as a constituent,

and all of those different things.

It helps you think critically while you're stitching away,

and it helps you be more mindful of what are your motives.

Are you that Barbie aid worker that was mentioned before?

Are you about joining people in solidarity,

or do you want to be the savior, which often isn't very ethical?

But doing needle work together, as well,

extroverts and introverts and ambivert --

everyone's on the scale in different places --

because it's a quiet, slow form of activism,

it really helps introverts be heard

in other areas, where they are often not heard.

It sounds odd,

but while you're stitching, you don't need eye contact with people.

So, for nervous introverts,

it means that you can stitch away next to someone or a group of people

and ask questions that you're thinking

that often you don't get time to ask people,

or you're too nervous to ask if you give them eye contact.

So you can get introverts, who are those big, deep thinkers,

saying, "That's really interesting that you want to do

that extrovert form of activism that's about shaming people

or quickly going out somewhere,

but who are you trying to target and how,

and is that the best way to do it?"

So it means you could have these discussions in a very slow way,

which is great for the extrovert to slow down and think deeply,

but it's really good for the introvert as well,

to be heard and to feel part of that movement for change,

in a good way.

Some ways we do it is stitch cards

about what values we thread through our activism,

and making sure that we don't just react in unethical ways.

One, sometimes we work with art institutions

where we will get over 150 people at the V&A

who can come for hours,

sit and stitch together on a particular issue,

and then tweet what they're thinking or how it went, like this one.

Also, I always think that activism needs introverts

because we're really good at intimate activism.

So we're good at slow activism,

and we're really good at intimate activism,

and if this year has told us anything,

it's told us that we need to, when we're engaging power holders,

we need to engage them by listening to people we disagree with,

by building bridges not walls --

walls or wars --

and by being critical friends, not aggressive enemies.

And one example that I do a lot with introverts,

but with lots of people,

is make gifts for people in power,

so not be outside screaming at them,

but to give them something like a bespoke handkerchief

saying, "Don't blow it.

Use your power for good.

We know you've got a difficult job in your position of power.

How can we help you?"

And what's great is, for the introverts,

we can write letters while we're making these gifts,

so for us, Marks and Spencer,

we tried to campaign to get them to implement the living wage.

So we made all the 14 board members bespoke handkerchiefs.

We wrote them letters, we boxed them up,

and we went to the AGM to hand-deliver our gifts

and to have that form of intimate activism

where we had discussions with them.

And what was brilliant was that the chair of the board

told us how amazing our campaign was,

how heartfelt it was.

The board members, like Martha Lane Fox,

who has hundreds of thousands of followers on Twitter,

and highly influential in business,

tweeted how impressed she was,

and within 10 months,

we'd had meetings with Marks and Spencer

to say, "We know this is difficult to be a living wage employer,

but if you can be one,

the rest of the sector will look at it,

and it's not right that some of your amazing workers are working full time

and still can't pay their bills.

And we love Marks and Spencer.

How can you be the role model that we want you to be?"

So that was that intimate form of activism.

We had lots of meetings with them.

We then gave them Christmas cards and Valentine's cards to say,

"We really want to encourage you to implement the living wage,

and within 10 months, they'd announced to the media

that they were going to pay the independent living wage, and now --

(Applause)

Thank you.

And now we're trying to work with them to be accredited,

which is really important,

and we went back to the last AGM this June

and we had these amazing one-to-one discussions with the board members,

who told us how much they loved their hankies

and how it really moved them, what we were doing,

and they all told us that if we were standing outside screaming at them

and not being gentle in our protest,

they wouldn't have even listened to us,

never mind had those discussions with us.

And I think introverts are really good at intimate activism

because we like to listen,

we like one-to-ones,

we don't like small talks,

we like those big, juicy issues to discuss with people,

we don't like conflict,

so we avoid it at all costs,

which is really important when we're trying to engage power holders,

not to be conflicting with them all the time.

The third way I think activists are really missing out

if they don't engage introverts

is that introverts, like I said, can be half of the world's population,

and most of us won't say that we're introvert,

or we get embarrassed by saying what overwhelms us.

So for me, a few years ago,

my mom used to send me texts in capital letters --

and she can now do emojis and everything, she's fine --

but as soon as I'd see this text,

I'd wince and think, "Ooh, it's capital letters, it's too much."

And I'd have to ignore it to read the lovely text she sent me.

And that's a bit embarrassing,

to tell people that capital letters overwhelm you,

but we really need introverts to help us do intriguing activism

that attracts them rather than puts them off.

We're put off by big and brash giant posters

and capital letters and explanation marks

telling us what to do and vying for our attention.

So some of the things I do with people around the world who take part

is make small bits of provocative street art

which are hung off eye level, very small,

and they're provocative messages.

They're not preaching at people or telling them what to do.

They're just getting people to engage in different ways,

and think for themselves,

because we don't like to be told what to do.

It might be wearing a green heart on your sleeve

saying what you love and how climate change will affect it,

and we'll wear it,

and if people say,

"Why are you wearing a green heart with the word 'chocolate' on?"

and we can have those one-to-one intimate conversations and say,

"I love chocolate.

Climate change is going to affect it,

and I think there's lot of other things that climate change will affect,

and I really want to make sure I'm part of the solution, not the problem."

And then we deflect, because we don't like to be the center of attention,

and say, "What do you love and how will climate change affect it?"

Or it might be shop-dropping instead of shop-lifting,

where we'll make little mini-scrolls with lovely stories on

about what's the story behind your clothes.

Is it a joyful story of how it's made, or is it a torturous one?

And we'll just drop them in little pockets in shops,

all lowercase, all handwritten,

with kisses and smiley faces in ribbon,

and then people are excited that they found it.

And we often drop them in unethical shops

or in front pockets,

and it's a way that we can do offline campaigning

that engages us and doesn't burn us out,

but also engages other people in an intriguing way online and offline.

So I've got two calls to action,

for the introverts and for the extroverts.

For the ambivert,

you're involved in all of it.

For the extroverts, I want to say that when you're planning a campaign,

think about introverts.

Think about how valuable our skills are, just as much as extroverts'.

We're good at slowing down and thinking deeply,

and the detail of issues, we're really good at bringing them out.

We're good at intimate activism, so use us in that way.

And we're good at intriguing people

by doing strange little things that help create conversations and thought.

Introverts, my call to action for you is,

I know you like being on your own,

I know you like being in your head,

but activism needs you,

so sometimes you've got to get out there.

It doesn't mean that you've got to turn into an extrovert and burn out,

because that's no use for anyone,

but what it does mean

is that you should value the skills and the traits that you have

that activism needs.

So for everyone in this room,

whether you're an extrovert or an introvert or an ambivert,

the world needs you now more than ever,

and you've got no excuse not to get involved.

Thanks.

(JYP training center)

(As usual, the Stray Kids are at the practice today)

(they first start off with stretching)

(they all make sounds as one)

BC: as expected, since its winter, don't your bodies seem a bit stiff?

(surprised)

All: Hello!

(the surprise mentors who have come looking for the Stray Kids)

(t/n fiNALLY ACTUAL INTERACTIONS)

(global trending idols)

(GOT7 JB & Jinyoung)

All: Hello! We are Stray Kids!

(good to see you!)

JB: BamBam did and Yugyeom did as well,

JB: they kept telling us about you/to see you

(because of the widespread talk, JB and Jinyoung have come to find them in the practice room)

JB: so we've come to see you

JY: you're only 7 members right now

JY: and two of your members have been eliminated

JB: lets sit comfortably

JY: yes, should we sit comfortably?

(its a bit awkward, should we sit... comfortably then??)

(nervous)

JY: since we're your hyungs, we're going to talk to you casually

JY: is your teamwork good?

(Stray Kids who have good teamwork!)

JY: have you not fought before?

HJ: even if we fight, we resolve it right away...

JB: you can't hit each others faces okay! only your bodies...

(t/n IM JAEBUM WHY ARE U TEACHING THESE BABIES TO FIGHT KKKKK)

(JB ends up resolving the awkward atmosphere)

(just kidding)

JB: if youre curious about anything,

JB: or if you think something is hard, you can ask us

BC: its a first for us to do a live broadcast show

(Chan's worry is about the burdensome final mission of the live broadcast show)

BC: I would like to know what we should pay attention to on stage and other things we should know about going up on stage

JY: it would be good if you thought about a live broadcast show easily

(ah~)

JY: because its a live broadcast show,

JY: because its a live broadcast show, if you go 'we should do well',

JY: or if you go overboard, the beat seems really fast

(t/n I think he's saying that if you go overboard with nerves and excitement, then you won't be able to keep up with the beat)

(you're right)

JY: I've seen a lot of those type of people before

(eyes are fixed)

(sunbae Jinyoung who is giving real-world advice)

(continuous fixation)

JY: so in all I think it would be good if you think of a live broadcast show easily

JY: also

JY: Hyun... Hyunjin is...

(t/n AWH THIS BABY IS SO FASCINATED IM SOBBING)

(flustered )

(t/n shut up he's so fucking adorable I'm actually shaking wtf is this)

JY: he keeps looking at me like that

JB: is he your role model?

(Hyunjin had mentioned before that Jinyoung was his role model)

SM: you're right! he's very nervous right now keke

(unfreezes)

JB: what makes Jinyoung your role model? what did you see in him?

(filled with anticipation)

HJ: firstly...

HJ: he sings really well,

HJ: he sings really well, he also dances really well,

HJ: he sings really well, he also dances really well, he's also a really good actor

JB: ah, something other than that!

HJ: I'm being sincere about it

(fully grinning)

HJ: hes a really cool person~

(grabbing his hand)

(t/n HYUNJIN BE LIVING THE DREAM RN)

JB: After the broadcast ends, you should come down and we should go out for a meal...?

(I couldn't dare to...)

JY: you should come and have a meal with hyung

(blissful)

JY: as for Chan...

JY: you were really scared of (JB) hyung when we were trainees

JB: it was that kind of situation back then

(curious)

JB: particularly it was because BamBam and Chan were really young at that time

(the members who are curious about Chan's past years)

JB: they were really young, so it was quite hard to be close to them

BC: we jokes around and got into trouble a lot

JY: you have to be good as a leader

BC: ah yes, you're right

(GOT7 leader / Stray Kids leader)

JB: I don't want to give that kind of burden to you

JY: you have to be good as a leader, you know what I mean?

(t/n got7, the kings of low-key dissing each other)

JB: hold up!

JB: as a leader, there really is no need to be good at everything

JB: but there are some things, like you need to take responsibility for trouble that happens

(warm advice to be able to handle as a leader)

JY: hyung came here to talk to you guys

JY: the thing I wanted to talk about most is

JY: there are some people that work hard to be complimented a lot

JY: truthfully, that type of thing isn't good

JY: nobody forced to to come all the way here right?

JY: you guys are here because you want to be here

(ou~ so cool!)

(t/n god I missed meme-leader so much)

JY: You're here because you like it

JY: theres nothing you can do but work hard

JY: it s not 'lets work hard'

JY: its 'I have to work hard'

(even though its as much as their own choices, the sunbae gives advice to work hard)

JY: so should we see what you have prepared?

(as its the final mission, the Stray Kids are receiving the final check from their sunbaes)

JY: since its only 10:40 in the morning...

JY: you should know thatmy throat isn't in that good of a condition

(at that moment)

(out of nowhere, Park Jinyoung has come to the practice room)

(shocked)

JYP: were you practicing?

All: yes!

JYP: I've come here to tell you about the final mission

(finally the anticipated reveal of the final mission is here!)

(nervous)

JYP: you put a lot of hard work into the previous missions

JYP: we saw a lot of upsetting things happen

JYP: but we also saw a lot of special things happen

JYP: now through the final mission, I will come to a conclusive evaluation for you

JYP: the last mission is,

JYP: that you have to do a live broadcast show

(shocked)

JYP: it is a time where you will be able to receive the viewer's real-time feedback

JYP: after I review all the feedback, the final debuting members will be decided

(after reviewing the live real-time feedback, the final debuting members will be decided!)

JYP: from this last mission, each one of you has to show me why you deserve to debut in this group

JYP: you have to be able to exactly show me what your strengths are

(they have to prove their own capabilities though this final live broadcast show mission)

JYP: this is a decision between if you will be able to debut or if you won't be able to debut

(burdened)

BC: since its our last, our final mission,

BC: I think we have to show a really good performance

HJ: what I'm most worried about is that this is a live broadcast show

HJ: if we make a mistake, it will come out on though the broadcast right away

CB: even though everything we've done until now has been important,

CB: the most important thing has finally come out

WJ: this is a matter of whether we will debut or not

WJ: I'm really thinking of this has the last mission of my life

SM: from this point on, there isn't a thing where we will be eliminated (but instead won't debut)

SM: I have to pour my everything out (on this mission)

Twin Peaks: The Return BTS – "I Had Bad Milk in Dehradun" (HD) - Duration: 28:14.

[man] All right.

[indistinct talking]

[man] I got it.

[machine whirring]

[Lynch] Close-up with Cooper.

- [whirring] - Oh.

Okay.

[man] Oh, we're pulling back?

[man] I'm just showing David some sizes.

Keep going, Tim.

Keep going.

Hold that.

[soft indistinct talking]

[man] Okay.

[man] Everybody set? Peter, you good?

- [Peter] Good. - [man] Rolling.

[buzzer blares]

[woman] Rolling.

[man] Sound is speeding.

- Mark it. - [man] Take two.

[man] Set.

And... go.

[speaking backwards]

- [stammers] - That's right.

[speaking backwards]

Okay, yeah, that's what I need to work on.

And go.

[speaks backwards]

[indistinct talking]

[Carel on phone, backwards] Do you remember?

- Oh, that's fantastic. - Yeah.

- Fantastic. - [speaks backwards]

Okay. Yeah.

[man] Grid is lowering.

- [soft chuckle] - [man] Grid coming down.

[man] Light grid.

- [speaks backwards] - [man] Set.

[Lynch] Okay, just hold that look above the lens.

Slow move in.

[soft indistinct talking]

[man] Great.

[buzzer blares]

[man] Sound is speeding.

[woman speaks indistinctly]

[Lynch] Action.

Action.

[speaking backwards] "er-mem-eer-00-ute"

[Lynch] Stop and turn, and face the curtains.

And the curtains disappear.

And you look deep into that darkness.

Cut it.

Very good.

[Lynch] Lock-off.

Lock-off on hand.

[man] No, this one.

This one is a lock-off.

[man] This one [indistinct].

[soft laugh] It's a lock-off.

[laughter] Just kid-

Okay. Urn.

You want to lock that off?

- [laughter] - What is it?

[man] Fine, and you?

[laughter]

[man] No, the one with [indistinct].

Done.

[indistinct talking]

[man] All right, here comes a rehearsal.

[man] Switch, is that what he said?

[indistinct talking]

Take two.

[man] Set.

[Lynch] Action, Al.

Oh.

[Lynch] Ah, okay, good. Do another.

I bumped into the table.

[Lynch] Just t-turn and look.

- Yeah. - [Lynch] Okay.

[Lynch] Just go back and try it once more, Al.

Yeah.

[Lynch] While we're still rolling.

[Lynch] Okay?

- [man] Ready, and... - [Lynch] Backing in.

[Lynch] Al goes in slow, gets the ring.

[man whispering] Doesn't seem to be a lot of girls in this.

[Lynch] Scampers back.

[man] Tim.

[man whispering]

[man whispering] Three, two, one, and...lock.

Cut it.

[man] Oh, Wild in the Country

with both Hope Lange and Tuesday Weld.

[David speaking indistinctly]

That's a pretty-pretty good one-two punch right there.

And Gary Lockwood.

[indistinct talking]

[Kyle] All right, I'm gonna get a coffee.

L'ma get a coffee and a...

Get that-get that, Kale.

And enjoy every bit of it.

[Kyle] All right, thanks, David.

[Lynch] No, he set up at 5:02.

No, I got up at- I got up later than that.

[man speaks indistinctly]

Uh, I got up at...

6:37.

- 6:37. - [woman] Wow, you slept in.

- [man] 37? - Mm-hmm.

- [man] Not 35, but 37? - [man] That's a good time.

6:37. Six and three is a nine.

And seven is 16. One and six is a seven.

So they got to add up to seven, my numbers.

Like, yesterday I got up at 5:02.

- [man laughs] - And it's a seven.

[man] You do this automatically or-

- No, I- - [man] Is it you set it?

- [man] You set it? - I set it.

[indistinct talking]

- [man] You know it's rehearsal? - [Lynch] Huh?

[man] Rehearsal?

[Lynch] Yeah, we'll have a rehearsal.

[man] All right, rehearsal's up.

- Do you want them? - [man] No, I'm good.

As soon as 25,000 people clear the frame, we'll rehearse.

[soft laugh]

[woman] Needs to put on a little weight and see what happens.

[Lynch] Stop with the turn.

The BB has got to be on the chair,

where he's gonna pick it up.

[indistinct talking]

The BB's gotta be on the chair

at the beginning of this.

Now, the position for the thumbs up

is kind of critical.

That's against your white shirt.

[Lynch] That's better.

To the right-right there.

[man] The same angle towards him,

just bring it in like that.

Okay. Like that? That okay?

[man] Hold the work. Nice and quiet.

[man] Roll sound.

- [indistinct shouts] - [man] Rolling!

[man] So when he raises his arm, we'll have lightning, right?

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

[man] Set.

Okay, you see the beautiful new Cooper

right there, it's a good thing.

[Lynch] Yeah, you see the beautiful new Cooper.

Now you're watching the Cooper unfold, unfold.

[Lynch] Unfold and moving around.

And you see now the BB down there.

[Lynch] And then you cover your eyes.

And you take the lightning.

[loud electrical crackling]

[Lynch imitates whooshing] And you lower your hand.

And he's gone, and there's a gold BB on the chair.

[Lynch] And the wide shot of Dougie

is only gonna play for the dialogue here at first.

And then we're gonna cut in close,

like we did with Laura.

[Kyle] Mm.

[woman chuckles]

Put my teeth in.

[indistinct talking]

- [woman] Got it? - Yep.

[woman] All right. You want- you want some eye drops?

Give me the left side, yeah.

- [woman] Okay. - Thank you.

[smacking lips] Mmm, mm.

My grandfather had a partial.

[man] Kyle, you have a...

Now I know how he felt.

- [Lynch] Do a lineup for... - Ready?

Going in.

Is there chair gonna be, uh, strong enough to support me?

- [man laughs] - [man] I doubt it.

[man laughs]

Yeah. Yeah, yeah.

This is...

[Lynch] Action.

W-what's happening?

Someone manufactured you.

W] For a purpose.

But I think now...

That's been fulfilled.

[Lynch] And then, you see the gold BB.

And you see the green ring has dropped to the ground.

You go get the green ring.

[Lynch] And you get the BB.

[ring clinks]

[Lynch] That's- that was a pretty good one.

- [ring clinks] " [Lynch] Drop it in.

[man] It's in. [laughs] I guess that was bad one.

[ring clinks]

- [Lynch] Go for it. - [man] Boom, boom.

That's-very sweet.

[man] Try one more?

Well, we-[stammers]

[man] Five-thousand drops later.

Yeah. That's-

[man] Well, you want to- we certainly could

give it a couple tries for variation.

Okay, we're gonna give it ten more tries.

If it doesn't happen, we're going to go to lunch.

- [woman] Going to Hell. - [laughter]

- [man speaking indistinctly] - [clapping]

[ring clinks]

[Lynch] Now you get the BB.

[Lynch] You stop, looking at the beautiful BB.

And then you look there, and you're thinking.

And now you sort of look around

and-up in the air, and you feel something.

[groans]

[speaks backwards]

[Lynch] And you're looking around.

- And now you lower your hand. - [speaks backwards]

And you're just- you're just-

you're just in-in limbo.

[speaks backwards]

Cut it.

[indistinct talking]

[man] So how far along the floor?

- [man] Way back there? - [woman speaks indistinctly]

- [man] Okay. - [man] Shit.

[man] Peter?

- Peter? - [Peter] Yes?

So when we shoot, we're gonna do-

we'll roll up on the floor,

come to our mark, lock off,

shoot some so we have our clean plate.

Then we're gonna set George in to this mark...

- [Peter] Yep. - And make our pool of blood.

- [Peter] Yes. - [man] Okay.

- [Lynch] Give me that blood. - [man] Yes, sir.

[man] Right here. You can pour this.

- Or you have a brush? - [Lynch] I'm gonna pour this.

Ray, I'm gonna have- raise your head up.

And you're gonna get- you're gonna get bloody, pal.

[woman whispering indistinctly]

[man] You can spread from there, so...

[Lynch] Lower your head in there.

- [man] No, it's not a match. - [woman] Okay.

[man] He's gone into another world.

This is a different pool. He's got a different, uh, blood.

- [woman speaks indistinctly] - [man] I know.

[indistinct talking]

[man] People obsessing about which way his feet are pointing.

- [Lynch] Now that is... - [man] Yes.

- [man] It's not done. - [Lynch] Okay.

[man] I just don't want to get it in his...

[man] That's good, just...

[Lynch] That-that part right up there.

[man sniffs]

' [man] Hey, Cori? - [Cori] Yeah?

[man] Make that wet there. Do you have a spritzer?

[woman] Yeah, I just gotta add blood first.

[man] All right, okay, cool.

[man] Here.

[soft indistinct talking]

[man] Let me just get one more photo.

[Lynch] Fifteen seconds.

[woman] And...

[Lynch] Cut it.

Do you want to do that now?

I would like to.

Um, do we have the house blood?

- [woman] House blood? Yeah. - Yeah.

We could take a picture of her with the house blood.

- [woman] Mm-hmm. - Um.

Full figure. Against the red.

Top-tip to toe, with her hands up in the air.

[woman] Mm-hmm.

And, um...

- in her high heels. - [woman] Okay.

- Let's take that photo. - [woman] Okay.

[woman] Are we gonna distort...

Look at how beautiful those curtains look.

- [Lynch] Look at that. - [woman] Sabrina?

Look at that, so beautiful.

[woman] We can distort her in...

Yeah, I know. I know we can do it.

So we might be able to do this at home.

- [woman] Okay. - In our garage.

Let's just get this- let's just get this photo.

[inhales and screams]

[indistinct talking]

[Sabrina] Ohh.

Such a great picture of you. Who did this?

The photographer. Let me see, let me see.

So we'll stop by on the way home from something.

- Right. - [indistinct talking]

[indistinct talking]

[Lynch] Action, Kale.

[Lynch] And we got the close-up,

and then off you go to your right,

to the next flap.

[Lynch] Okay, Kale, come back to this mark.

And be-to your mark there.

And just looking at the- deep into the darkness.

And this time just snap to Gerard,

and go out following him.

Okay, you're d-looking.

Now, snap to-see Gerard.

And get going.

[Lynch] Fast.

[indistinct talking]

[man] Let's rehearse one. Here we go, everybody.

[Lynch] Action, Kale.

- [man] Rolling, rolling. - [man] Rolling!

[buzzer blares]

- [man] Sound speeding. - [woman speaks indistinctly]

[Lynch] Action, Kale.

[woman] Well, do you want to say,

"Find Laura" front-ways,

and then we'll see how you sound saying it-

- Yes, yes, yes, Yes- - Okay.

Yeah. This is the-uh, yeah-yeah.

Find Laura.

- [woman] What is its name? - [Lynch] Jack.

[woman] Jack.

[woman] And then this is that backwards.

[Ray] Okay.

[Ray on phone, backwards] "Arual-dnif. "

[both] "Araul-dnif."

[Ray] I got it. Ready?

Yeah, now let's do it the other way.

- I got it now. - We're gonna do this.

All right. Here we go.

[speaks backwards] "Arual-dnif."

[man] Where am I going?

- [snorts] - This is gonna be the one.

This is a keeper.

[Ray on phone, backwards] Find Laura.

- [Ray] Oh. - Pretty good.

- [Ray] Find Laura. - [man] And that's in the shot?

"Arual-dnif-" I-l-think I-

- All right, cool. - I think it's okay.

[buzzer blares]

[man] Sound is speeding.

[man] Take two.

[Lynch] Action.

[speaks backwards] "Arual-dnif."

[shoes squeaking]

Cut it.

[man] Good.

[buzzer beeps twice]

[indistinct talking]

[man] Think we'll be ready?

[man] Let's rehearse one.

Here we go, everybody.

- [man] Here we go. - [man] Alrighty.

Action.

[indistinct talking]

[whistling]

[man] And that- center up on that floor.

[indistinct talking]

[man] Raise up a little bit.

[man] Right over here.

Just pan over.

Yeah, we need a little bit.

[indistinct talking]

Got Al by camera.

[man] Phillip Gerard is...

[man] Perfect. Come to the flap here.

And you follow him. Yes.

And then you got this [indistinct] other flap.

And Gerard holds it open for you and you go in through there.

[man] Let's rehearse one.

[man] Start right when they enter.

[man] Flash, flash and back.

[Lynch speaks indistinctly]

[Al] Didn't hear that.

[Lynch] Uh, Cooper will come in right behind you on action.

[AI] Right.

[Lynch] So and when we're moving down the hallway,

faster, okay?

[indistinct talking]

- [man] Rolling! - [buzzer blares]

[man] Sound is speeding!

- [man] Mark it. - [man] Marked.

[clapperboard clicks]

[Lynch] Al.

[man] Set.

[Lynch] Action.

[Lynch] Now you go through, Al.

[Lynch] Action, Phillip Gerard and Cooper.

[footsteps]

[Kyle] Phillip?

[Lynch] Now just watching the smoke.

Right at-it comes out the nozzle.

Up in there.

Okay, and, Al, give the first one.

Electricity.

[loud electrical clanks]

[Lynch] Second one.

Electricity.

[loud electrical crackling]

[Lynch] Okay, Kale.

[Kyle] The date: February 23, 1989.

[Lynch] Cooper.

- [Kyle] Go? - [Lynch] No-no-no.

- [Lynch] The other way. - [man] Turn.

[Lynch] So lower that- that down a little bit.

[Lynch] So while we move in on you,

you're-you're hiding down, in the woods.

And then I'll- you'll leave enough room

for dissolve and then I'll say "drop out"

and you'll do one of your famous drops.

[laughter]

[Lynch] Move in on Kale.

[Lynch] Drop.

- [Lynch] Cut it. - [laughter]

Yeah, I can do that. I don't need a-

we don't need a green screen or any FX, that's good.

[Lynch] Now, make your whole front of your face

a foot longer and go out towards this thing.

[laughter]

[man] Okay, let's do this, George.

- Almost. - [man] Step to your right, a little bit.

And let's make the eyeline this box here.

[man] Hand me a mark, please.

[man] Give me a X, a pink X or something.

[man] All right, let's do a-

let's get a little bit of rehearsal.

- [Lynch] Okay-doke. - [man] Shh-shh.

[Lynch] You know, but this- always be facing him.

Okay, now you're- you came too close to the couch.

Urn, be-be agitated there from just once place.

Just be agitated. Go back and forth.

- Okay. - Back and forth.

Looking at him.

And you-and you kind of back up a little sometimes.

You think about the bomb might go off like this.

- And you're-like this, okay? - All right.

- And you're looking at him, okay? - Okay.

Then move forward,

and-grab the couch.

And turn all the way around. And...

- Oh, here? - Yeah.

[Lynch] And then-and then-

[camera shutters beeps]

[Lynch] Okay, and then...

Sitting right there.

You raise your watch.

[indistinct talking]

[Lynch] Raise it up for me to see it.

Now look, and-and lower it.

[man speaks indistinctly]

[Lynch] Do a super slow turn.

All the way around.

You look right through me.

Up here.

[clattering]

[Lynch] Now, slowly turn back.

[Lynch] And then settle down in.

[Lynch] And just be looking at the fire.

And you'll stay there till we cut it.

[man] Nice and quiet. Rolling.

[man] You want to step in there?

[man] Sound is speeding.

[Lynch] There's gonna be a bolt of lightning.

And then you start hearing, you-you-

you start sensing out- outside, okay?

That's when I hear the...

[Lynch] That's when you hear the-the boots, yeah.

[man] Rolling!

[indistinct talking]

[man] Quiet. Rolling, rolling.

- [man] Rolling, rolling! - [buzzer blares]

[man] Sound is speeding!

- [woman] Marking. - [clapperboard bangs]

[Lynch] Action.

Great, agitated.

Just take one look out to the hallway.

One look out there, now back.

And say your line loud.

[speaking backwards]

[Lynch] Okay, stop in there.

Now, little bit- little bit quieter.

Say the next thing.

Tell him that you got to pay attention.

You gotta pay attention.

You say that next line.

[speaking backwards]

[Lynch] Now, agitated, move back and forth.

Back and forth.

And-and be afraid, be afraid. Move back.

Move back. And now come forward.

Come forward. Keep looking at the thing there.

Yeah, both-[stammers] in that-that box.

Now grab the couch.

And twist in. Twist in.

Keep looking at him.

[Kyle] Hello?

[Lynch] She turns

slowly, slowly, slowly.

And turns back.

And she looks at her watch.

Light goes on in the [indistinct].

One more little tiny step forward.

- Lightning. - [loud electrical crackling]

[moaning]

[Lynch] You turn back. You s-sense her agitation.

Something's going on.

Back to the box.

Louder and louder hum.

Louderandlouden

One more little tiny step forward.

Now forward, lean, lean, lean.

Pull, pull, pull, pull, pull-pull-pull-pull-pull.

And try to look back at her.

Trying to look back at her.

And then lean and lift yourself up.

Lean in there...

Good deal. Cut it.

Nice work, Kale.

[indistinct talking]

[man] How was that, Pete?

[Peter] That was- that was great.

[man] Good.

[man] So we should probably start with this on Cooper.

[Lynch] Okay.

[man] Looking up and see if he can walk all the way down.

- [Lynch] Don't-um-well, yes- - [man] 'Cause...

[Lynch] I guess he better. Yeah, he better.

Walk-walk all the way down.

Action, Kale.

Yeah, walk it- walk all the way down.

Open and look.

And then turn, see, and back up.

Like this.

Okay, there it is, right behind you.

And then he closes this

when he backs up.

[man] So if I'm against this wall, per se...

[indistinct talking]

[man] Let's try-

[Lynch] And walk- walk all the way down.

[man] Yeah, on Cooper walking.

[man] Take it back a bit.

[man] Let's pull this cable back a bit.

[man] Oh, we're gonna do this now?

[man] No, we're on Cooper first.

[man] Okay, okay.

[indistinct talking]

[Lynch] Where's Kyle?

[man] Um...

[Lynch] I need to- I need to rehearse with him.

- [Kyle speaks indistinctly] - [Lynch] Yeah, yeah.

[indistinct talking]

- Mm-hmm. - Okay.

[man] Set.

Action, Kale.

[Lynch] And this thing is laughing at you, screaming.

You look round-panic- start to panic.

Start to panic.

Drop.

Incredible.

- [man] No wonder. - [Lynch] Cut it.

- [indistinct talking] - [buzzer blares twice]

- [Kyle] We cut? - [Lynch] That was real good.

[Kyle] Okay.

[indistinct talking]

[Kyle] Oh, right.

It's already 7:00.

[woman] Sixty-three apple?

[Lynch] Do you photograph down in Mexico, Lester?

[Richard] Hmm.

It's kind of like India, but it's-a Mexican India.

- And it's just... - [man] Yeah, they're similar.

Similar, yeah.

[Richard] The food and I in Mexico

do not have a good working relationship.

India's way easier for me.

- Really? - [man] Oh and I'm the opposite.

- [Richard] Yeah. - Huh.

Oh, I got so sick in India.

I had bad milk in Dehradun.

[Richard chuckles] That's a title of your memoir-

I know, it's a great title.

[laughter]

Yeah.

[Lynch] Action.

Cut it.

Great title.

[laughter]

[Richard] Everyone will know exactly what you mean.

[Lynch] [chuckling] Yeah.

[David as Cole] Thank you very much.

Although I can't comment on this information,

I want you to know that I really appreciate it.

[Lynch] Cut it.

[laughter]

Full Face Using Only e.l.f. Cosmetics Heart Defensor Coffee N' Cream Highlighter Duo! - Duration: 4:52.

hey guys it's Hashtag Zoe welcome back to my channel so for today's video I have the

elf cosmetics and heart defensor collab on their coffee n' cream

full-faced using this highlighter so I'm gonna do half of my face using coffee

half of my face using cream and we are going to glow let me tell you we're

gonna glow

Hashtag Zoe

full face using only e.l.f. cosmetics heart defensor coffee n' cream duo

okay so I just got this in the mail yesterday and I figured what better way

to test it and give it a first impression than to literally put it all

over my face so first I think let's start with coffee and I'm gonna put

coffee on this side and I'm gonna put cream on this side and I'm basically

gonna look like palates let's go start this so I just have this flat top kabuki

brush and I'm just gonna wow you know one swipe and I'm already glowing to the

gods okay so I just did this isn't like my shade if your foundation but I'm so

I'm still using coffee and it was honestly for a highlighter it has great

coverage not gonna lie now would I actually wear this look out yes oh okay

probably not but I am definitely gonna be using this highlighter this coverage

is amazing and it's so like wait see me from space

okay so I'm gonna be taking my finger and just connecting and why not add some

eye shadow highlighter so this side of my face is coffee away but I'm gonna

do one more coat just to make sure I have the full coffee capacity on my face

okay so now that I've done my foundation on this side I'm gonna apply some

highlighter I'm gonna be taking coffee from the coffee n cream duo and

using that as highlighter on this side of my face did it work let's move on to

cream okay now moving on to foundation on the other side my face I'm gonna be

using cream this is the cream shade it is definitely lighter so this will

probably match my pale complexion guys obviously I know that this is not

actually foundation but because it's a full face using

this highlighter I figured out a compound ation because I just need a

full coverage on my skin and honestly this is doing quite a nice job coverage

what I do like about this palette is that I feel like if it mixes it'll give

you a nice shade too like your options

okay and I have a pimple right now and I think I need to cover it with this

foundation Wow honestly it didn't do that bad of a job for a highlighter

covering I'm pulling pretty good okay so I'm just gonna be patting this in a

little bit more doing another coat okay wait now I'm really like glowing to the

gods sorry got a glow and why not because there you want to remember you

know I just Jack Frost who actually because I did that on this side I'm

gonna do it on this side and I'm gonna be having glowy brows and lashes okay

guys so now that I am basically this palette um first of all I rate this a

solid 10 out of 10 like the fact that it covers my freckles and my red skin just

on both sides like even this side are you kidding me this is amazing and I

just want to test the not like together mix okay I don't know if you can see

that anything too much on but it is super pretty together and yeah good job

heart and else you guys are the best and I love this this is gonna be my new

everyday highlighter okay guys now let's go outside and see how much this glows

in the sunshine

okay guys thanks so much for watching if you enjoyed this video give a big thumbs

up comment down below which side you think is better coffee or cream in my

opinion I think we could just mix the two together and it could be coffee

cream anyway guys I will see you next week with another video

Ep 54 - Germany (part 3) - Around Europe on a Motorcycle - Honda Transalp 700 - Duration: 14:52.

Unbelievable! I am in Germany' s Romantikstrasse, romantic road

And the town here is called Rain... As soon as I passed the sign, it started raining

That's no problem... A chance for me to have a break and some coffee...

Good morning from Wurzburg

Last night I pitched my tent next to the motorway... and the truth is that I didn't had a very good night sleep.

It was too noisy. The next time I will try to go further in...

Anyway.. I am in Würzburg and a free walking tour is not available

but I have an application!

I will wonder or couple of hours in the city to check it out.

The city is beautiful. A very big part of the centre is in the list of

world heritage sites by UNESCO

Yeah... Let's check it out!

Würzburg palace is an UNESCO world heritage site and its considered to be one of the most important palaces

of Europe, because of its unique architecture.

And thats how you load a bike... 4 boxes on a scooter....

I am at the geographical centre of European Union

which it was formed at 2014, after the joining of more countries in the Union.

Croatia joined on 2013, and so that made this spot in Westerngrund the geographical centre of EU.

The Theory is: If you think the whole map of EU balancing on a pin,

Then that "pin" should be place exactly over there.

Thats the theory behind it.

and here are the coordinates.

I am so happy that I had the chance to meet Jonas again

After visiting Koblenz we rode to this amazing place...

This is a barbecue place and under normal conditions you rent it from the city of Koblenz.

Today is Thursday and I don't think anyone is coming out here.

So I am going to pitch my tent over here... I do have a table tonight.

and I have very nice view of the surrounding area as well.

Thats the city of Koblenz, with the castle, the Rhine...

a beautiful church down there.

Good morning from Dusseldorf.

I left Koln today and I am heading to Hamburg, but I want to visit Dusseldorf, Munster and Bremen

until I reach Hamburg. So thats going to take me about 2 days.

A tiring day...

It's about 9:00 pm

150km from Koln until Munster...

... and it took me more than 4 hours to cover.

and that doesn't include the 2 hour stop in Dusseldorf.

Too much traffic jams... everywhere you go in all the roads there are roadworks, "baustelle" as they call them

Everywhere!!! EVERYWHERE!

and lot of traffic jams....

in the secondary roads the speed was about 30km/h... only 1st and 2nd gear....

I decided to enter the autobahn 70km before because at that rate I wouldn't be able to reach it.

But there making roadworks in the autobahn as well....

At a point we were moving at 16km/h! In the autobahn!

3 lanes full of cars and trucks moving like snails.

and they are too close to each other so I wasn't able to lane filter as well

...which is forbidden in Germany anyway.

A very tiring day... annoying day....

If you want to visit Germany in the summer please keep in mind that there are roadworks everywhere...

Same applies for Switzerland.

In Munster I realised that I needed more than 30 minutes to cover 5km to reach the centre...

I decided that I will skip it...

Tomorrow I want to be in Hamburg which was a lot fo kilometres away, so I decided to cover about 150km more..

After Munster there no more traffic.

I went back to secondary roads...

At some point, I was able to see some hills as well...

It was flat from Koblenz until now... more than 500km of flat area

Nice little villages on the way...

... and a lot of horses. Lots of them

Anyway.. It's 9:00 and I am at this national park, where I cannot see any sign that is a protected zone.

So I am thinking to pitch my tent here.

The main road is 1km away from here.

and here I have an endless straight.. I hope I won't have any visits in the middle of the night.

Free camping is forbidden in Germany.

But I didn't had any problems so far.

There is a sign that says "parking".

This is the parking.

So I am going to pitch the tent and spend the night here.

Tahini and seeds CRACKERS • Low Carb Crackers #3 - Duration: 1:50.

TAHINI AND SEEDS CRACKERS • Low Carb Crackers •

In a large bowl, let's whisk:

1/2 cup of tahini

2 eggs

1/2 teaspoon of baking powder

and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.

Now, let's add: 1/2 cup of mixed seeds

Here I have: chia seeds, sunflower and pumpkin seeds.

Then, using a spatula, keep mixing until well combined.

Line a parchment paper on a large baking tray...

And spread the mixture over it.

Preheat oven to 170°C (340°F) and bake it for 10 minutes. ⏰

Now, let's take the tray out of the oven...

And carefully using a sharp knife, cut them into the shape and size you like.

Bring it back to the oven, baking for more 10 minutes.

IT'S DONE! 🎉

Let them cool down on the tray before removing the crackers from it.

I've made a total of 18 crackers out of this recipe.

With ONLY 0.7 grams of net carbs per cracker!

YUM! SO GOOD!

How can I tell you what I really want to say Sometimes I fear you're getting colder, colder I'd let you in but then you might just pull away Sometimes I think I need you closer, closer

When everything you touch turns into gold When I feel these expectations taking hold

What are your intentions for me, intentions for me? What are your intentions for me, intentions for me? Cause I don't want to turn you off, just turn you on How can I feel so right inside these arms? What are your intentions for me, intentions for me?

Wearing your jacket home at night to keep me warm I won't admit that I keep falling, falling Spending the summer in the back seat of your car Never knowing that we're wanted, wanted

It's in your eyes, the pain your holding on I could be one the to kiss you till its gone Until its gone

What are your intentions for me, intentions for me? (Just tell me your intentions, just tell me your intentions) What are your intentions for me, intentions for me? (What are your, what are your, what are your, your intentions?)

Cause I don't want to turn you off, just turn you on How can I feel so right inside these arms? What are your intentions for me, intentions for me? (Just tell me your intentions, just tell me your intentions)

Will They Still Fit?? - My Life Through Dresses - Duration: 5:08.

I know my hair is weird right now.

I straightened it cause I just couldn't do anything with it, and this is what we're stuck

with, so I'm goin' with it.

Hi everybody, I'm Amanda the G and you might be like 'hey Amanda, why are you standing

and why can you move around so much?'

I was going through my closet to try and switch out the winter stuff from the summer stuff

cause it's FREEZING here.

And I came across some dresses from my past so I figured, let's see if they still fit

and tell a little story about each.

We're starting with the oldest one.

This is from my sophomore year in high school.

I have no idea if this fat ass is going to fit into this dress (laughing).

(strained grunting) This skirt is so uncomfortable!

This kind of scares me that this still fits this good.

There's room in this shit. (dress crinkling) This was for the homecoming dance in my sophomore

year, that makes me like 15 when I wore this.

I went to the dance and I THINK that my friend Loren drove us because she might've been 16

by that point, she might have had her license.

But I don't really remember.

I just remember that we went to the dance and then we ended up at Frendly's afterwards,

because I'm from a small town, there's only a few places that we could go to that we could

afford.

If anyone is watching this who went to that dance, something that you didn't know is that

I couldn't wear this dress with underwear at the time because you could see the line,

so this was the ONLY TIME I EVER DID THIS, but I went without underwear and without tights

at that dance.

Let's move on to dress two.

This is my prom dress!

Which means I was like 17 when I wore this.

Moment of truth time.

(zipper) Oh my god.

Holy shit!

Um...

That's right, that's right, I fit in my prom dress!

Holy crap.

Not only does it fit, Amanda has room in her prom dress.

TAKE THAT 17 YEAR OLD SKINNY ASS AMANDA!

The prom was the only dance at all that Amanda actually had a date to.

Shout out to all the high school and middle school students sitting in the bathroom during

every slow song to not look like a loser.

I was there with you.

I used to sit on the sinks.

My friend Leah was gonna go with this guy and she asked him to set me up with my date.

And I don't remember his name.

I think it might've been Rob but I really don't know.

So I'm just gonna call him Rob and I'm sorry I forgot.

The two of us we're supposed to meet at Frendly's - once more, back to Frendly's! - and kind

of get to know each other a little bit before prom.

Rob was awesome and he got up for every slow song to dance with me so I didn't have to

be awkward sitting in the bathroom and pretending that I wasn't sad.

Then we went to the after prom party and he had to leave cause he had to work at like

8 o'clock in the morning.

So he stayed until like 2.

But you couldn't leave the after prom party and go back to it, because the school was

weird like that, so we had a really awkward saying goodbye hug in front of chaperones,

and I've never seen him again.

But then I won a TV, and had to cart it back with 4 inch heels on, and then I got changed,

my friends and I all went out to our local airport that never has anybody flying out

of it, from a frikin' small town, to try and watch the sun rise, but it was cloudy so all

that happened was it eventually got lighter.

And then we went to my friend Shawna's house and we ate pancakes, or rather fell asleep

with pancakes in our laps watching Grease 2.

And that, my friends, is how you do prom!

This is our third and final dress today.

This is from college.

This dress I bought with my best friend.

We went out to try and find dresses for this semi formal event with my team.

It was called the Sinatra party.

We had it on either Frank Sinatra's birthday or as close to it as we could get.

I got to get all classy.

This is, this is college classy Amanda.

Before I went to this dance, I did a little photo shoot with my best friend.

She was an art major so, you know, we took pictures.

And she set up this picture that was my profile picture on Facebook for YEARS.

I'm actually legitimately surprised that I was able to fit into all of these dresses

because I weighed a shit ton less in all of them when I bought them then I do now, which

is why weight is friggin stupid.

That's it for this episode of Amanda's life through dresses - I don't know if that's what

I'm gonna call it, I don't know if there's gonna be another one, let me know if you want

another one.

And if you liked this video, click the like button, and subscribe to my channel, I make

a new video every Tuesday and Friday.

Thank you guys so much for watching.

MWAH!

I feel so glamorous right now!

This is why Amanda wore this dress in high school, because it's fucking glamorous!

Chag Chanukah Sameach! - Duration: 1:20.

This evening marks the beginning of Chanukah,

the eight-day Festival of Lights.

Chanukah tells the story of the Jewish

people's resilience and their victory

over tyranny and religious intolerance.

When the Jewish people were banned

from practicing their religion,

a group of Jews called the Maccabees

decided to rebel against their oppressors.

Full of spirit and vigour,

the Maccabees miraculously succeeded,

and upon their victory found one

jar of oil in their desecrated Temple

to use to light the menorah.

And instead of the light burning for one day,

it burned for eight.

Chanukah celebrates these miracles,

the miracles that allowed

the Jewish people to remain resilient

and keep their hope alive,

despite the oppression they faced.

As families prepare to light the menorah,

eat delicious jelly donuts,

sing festive songs,

and exchange presents with their loved ones,

it's my wish that these days of celebration

bring them lots of peace and joy.

On behalf of the Official Opposition

and the Conservative Party of Canada,

I would like to wish everyone

a Chag Chanukah Sameach!

Easy Meal Prep for Weight Loss - Duration: 8:10.

Hi everyone I'm Dr. Riva Robinson Founder of the holistic medical practice

RIVA Wellness. Today, I'm going to teach you how to meal prep like a pro, so you

can lose weight all while saving precious time and money. And be sure to

stick around to the very end of this video, as I'm going to show you how and

where to go to download a special free ebook that's going to help you customize

this plan just for your needs. So here we go! Step 1: Find an affordable grocery

store in your neighborhood. My personal favorite is Trader Joe's because I can

leave there spending about as half as much as I would if I were shopping at

Whole Foods and still walk out with plenty of organic produce. If you don't

have a Trader Joe's in your neighborhood, chances are you probably have a Ralph's

or a Kroger or Albertson's or a Safeway or something that still has affordable

prices that won't force you to break the bank. And Step 2: Find as many

pre-chopped, pre-seasoned, precooked items as you can that are still whole foods.

Bear in mind, you want to avoid as many processed foods as possible. So this is

going to include like the frozen meals and the freezer section that have lots

of additives and preservatives because those are gonna disrupt your metabolism

and prevent you from losing weight.... Which is a "no - no". So get these pre chopped

items like onions, garlic, broccoli, cauliflower. You can get rotisserie

chicken. You can even get hard-boiled eggs. You can get so many items that take

so much of the prep time away so that's hours that you get back to your week. So

for example breakfast you want eggs and toast

grab those freshly hard-boiled eggs from the refrigerator section in your

grocery store. A piece of toast, a little butter if you want. Salt and pepper... there

you go! That's done in like two and a half minutes. You want a hearty salad for

lunch? There you go: grab a bag salad, you get your rotisserie chicken, avocado,

hummus, extra chopped vegetables if you want. Throw it all together... that

literally took you another two minutes! Catch my drift here how easy it is to

save money while still eating healthy? Bonus tip: other things that I love that

save have saved me lots of time are spiralized vegetables like zoodles, so

you can have a low-carb version of spaghetti and noodle dishes that still

taste very satisfying. Step 3: calculate how many calories you need to eat in a day

in order to lose weight. so there's a formula for this, which is your resting

metabolic rate times your adjustment factor for activity - your adjustment

factor for body fat loss. So in order to calculate your resting metabolic rate

make it easy on yourself and go to My Fitness pal's BMR calculator

just plug in your age, height, weight, and sex and it'll pop out that number for

you without having to do all the calculations yourself. Then look at this

chart and figure out what your activity adjustment factor is and also your body

fat loss adjustment factor and plug those into the first equation. So for me

my fitness pal gave me a BMR of 1252 calories. so since I exercise six to

seven days a week vigorously, (I know I'm crazy) that's an adjustment factor of 1.7

and then the corresponding body fat loss adjustment factor is going to

be 500. So my BMR of 1252 times 1.7 minus 500 gives me a daily caloric

allowance of 1629 calories in order to lose one pound

of body fat per week. Step 4: customize your meal plan. Again I'll use

myself as an example. I eat four times a day, generally three full meals and one

snack. So, for each meal I'll have about 450 calories and then a snack that's

about 200 to 250 calories. I'm not going to get too detailed in all the macros,

I'll save that for another time. But generally I have three to four full

portions of protein a day, about two servings of healthy fats with each meal,

so that's either avocado, extra-virgin olive oil, coconut oil, nuts seeds, 5 to 7

servings of non starchy vegetables in every color that you can imagine - more

the better. And then two to three servings of grain

or starchy vegetables, like sweet potato or brown rice.

Bonus tip: if you tend to carry more of your weight in your midsection, then try

to limit the starches in your diet and exchange them for healthy fats. Now I

know this might seem counterintuitive, but bear with me. Starches actually cause

your body to store more calories as body fat, while healthy fats like the ones I

mentioned before are going to help your body use fat more efficiently as fuel.

This is a basic premise why ketogenic diets have been so successful for

some people in losing weight. Home stretch! We're at step number 5: be

patient. So, we use the formula to calculate how many calories you need to

eat in order to lose one pound per week. So you might have lost more weight in

previous programs that you've done. Maybe you lost 2 to 3 or 5 pounds a week but you

probably gained that weight back, didn't you? Yeah that's the thing! We're looking for

healthy, sustainable weight loss, which takes time. Healthy weight loss is going

to be about 1 to 2 pounds per week. 2 pounds per week if you're incorporate

an exercise program with that. So that was my other bonus tip...I just stole it from

myself: incorporate an exercise program

obviously I'm still dressed in my workout clothes because that is a core

part of my personal fitness plan.

By exercising at least, let's just say

an hour a day, five days a week, you can help your body burn an additional 1

pound of fat per week. Now, just imagine doing that with the healthy balanced

nutrition, losing two pounds per week, you lose eight pounds per month, and that's

going to be sustainable. Over six months you've lost almost fifty

pounds. So just imagine the possibilities! And there you have it! now you've learned

my five steps for creating a weight loss plan that will save you both time and

money. But if you're looking for something that is a little bit more

detailed I have a prepared guide that includes your grocery shopping list,

detailed menu, further steps on how to customize this plan, and more goodies in

"The Save Your Time and Dime Meal Prep Guide." You can find the link to download

this for free in the description section of this video. And remember if

you like this video, be sure to hit the like button, share it with your friends,

and subscribe to my YouTube channel. Thank you so much for watching! Again I'm

Dr. Riva Robinson, and I'll see you in the next video!

Keenan Jones your a hero - Duration: 5:40.

hello how's it going today today's video is gonna be a hot story time a bit of a

sad news story I'm going to talk about so over the weekend on Sunday Sunday or

Monday yeah I'm pretty sure it was Sunday there was this little boy I'm

sure you've heard of him by now Keaton Jones his mother posted a video of

Keaton and the video an absolutely viral because it was Keaton talking about his

him being bullied by the way the video and absolutely viral and now he's been

invited to the red carpet by Hailee Steinfeld man Keaton I hope you enjoy

that have fun there Hailee Steinfeld she's hats whoo he's also received

support support on Twitter from Justin Bieber and he's also a big fan of

Captain America so the Captain America actor sorry I really can't figure his

name Chris something I don't know his last name is the Captain America actor

invited him to attend me Captain America premiere tell nothing more next year

that's gonna be really fun for him and Dan I'm pretty I think he's some kind of

CD and the reason being I because the entire Tennessee football team offered

to sit with him during lunch I'm pretty sure these bullies are not gonna bully

him well the Tennessee football team was

there these guys are massive but nonetheless

I'm sure you've heard of all that before I would just like to extend my support

to Keaton Jones and take Eden what's happening to you is wrong bullying is a

terrible thing unfortunately it is a fact of life and I hope it gets better

for you and I hope this bullying stops we stand by you your bullies are

despicable people and by the way this is all going on at this school so my main

question about this is where are the teachers where's the printer very happy

nobody is doing anything about this

what's stopping this is a viral facebook video talking to teachers didn't do

anything about it before I went viral and Facebook actually just speaking

which noticed the video stop the bullying okay Facebook they're not this

exact for you well his video stop the bullying I would

love the answer be yes however I highly out it

since there's really no way to stop bullying and very few people speak out

Keenan my advice to you and this video might be causing some more volume if it

if your boys start to pick on you because this viral video because of your

viral video just say yeah well I'm gonna Captain America here what are you doing

sitting on your fat bald ass stayed out to the bullies Kenan night well they're

Kenan is probably not watching this video

that's what I was exactly virus him if I was Kenan I was an issues that's exactly

where I sit where I saw the yo-yo is hurting you can hear and youth bullies

are probably just gonna be sitting at home moping

so I hope you have fun Keenan at all these things walking the red carpet

Hailee Steinfeld sitting with the Tennessee football team and attending a

Captain America premiere I know the bullying is absolutely horrible but it

will get better looking missing seriously it will get better with that I

was just like to say Kenan Jones you are a hero

How to ROOT MIUI 9 Global Official ROM any Xiaomi - Duration: 8:11.

Good friends, I'm Manu.

Today we will rootear Global Official MIUI 9.

I'm going to do in my Xiaomi redmi 4A and I will discuss what we will do.

Let's try that do not have root access now.

Root Checker app we use for it.

Click on verify root.

We do not have root access.

Now we activate the USB debugging is the developer options.

To enable them we are going to Settings, phone information.

7 times in a row we press on MIUI version.

I take this opportunity to show you the version of MIUI 9 on which we work.

7.11.16 Beta that is.

We return back to access developer options.

Ahora simplemente flasheamos nuestro fichero zip.

no deja restaurar bien nuestro rooteo.

Vamos a reiniciar el sistema.

Desmarcamos estas dos opciones y le damos a no instalar.

Este primer inicio después haber instalado el root va a durar unos minutos como cuando

flasheamos una rom.

Entorno a cinco minutos.

Watch Colbert and Noah Tear into Fox News for Enabling Bill O'Reilly - Duration: 1:59.

Watts Colbert Noah Terence of FoxNews for enabling Bill O'Reilly

Stephen Colbert wonders if the cable renewed O'Reilly to protect its female employees

Because if Bill us on camera that s one hour a day. They knew he asked not groping somebody as

sexual misconduct allegations

Continues to pile up against Harvey Weinstein several other powerful men had faced allegations of their own

including director James Toback and Hollywood agent Tyler Gresham another man currently facing a public

Firestorm has dealt with this before word broke over the weekend that Bill

O'Reilly settled a sixth sexual harassment claim just one month before Fox News renewed his contract last year

Naturally late night hosts wasted no time calling

hypocrisy after all given how furiously Fox s

Correspondents have been tearing into Weinstein and Hollywood. They're friendly treatment of O'Reilly seems

Puzzling it is shocking that FoxNews knew about all these sexual harassment

Settlements and kept him employed for so long Stephen Colbert said on Monday s Late Show

But maybe they were just trying to protect their female employees

Because if bill S on camera that s one hour a day

They knew he s not groping somebody in a statement to The Times Fox said it considered

O'Reilly a settlement with former legal analyst list whale to be a personal issue between the two of them

Colbert agreed noting whoever owned Reilly harasses and then pays off in his personal time as his own business

It hasn't matter between one consenting adult

He said before pointedly trailing off for his part o Riley has denied the allegations

Fox told the Times that when it renewed a Riley s contract in February

The deal included provisions that would allow the host to be dismissed in the face of new allegations it s like the old saying goes

Cold bear said fool me once shame on you fool me twice some more shame fool me three times

Yogi really got to do a better

Late Night Stephen Colbert Responds to Louis C K with Glancing Blows—and One Tough Hit - Duration: 4:23.

Late-night stephen colbert response to lewis creek with glancing blows and one tough hit Lewis Creek canceled his Late Show appearance

right before allegations of sexual misconduct went public

But Colbert struggled to hit hard at his ex colleague for those of you tuning in to see my interview with Lewis Creek tonight

I have some bad news

Stephen Colbert said during his opening Late Show monologue, then I have some really bad news

The comedian was referring to the allegations of sexual misconduct

against Creek outlined and detail and on the record for the New York Times after years of rumours

comedy fans watching on Thursday were paying specific attention to Colbert as

Creek was not only slated to appear on Late Show before the story broke

But also shares a history with Colbert in

Fact Creek was called Baris boss for a time when the two worked on the Dana Carvey show

That might explain why that first night in an episode taped hours after The Times story broke Colbert seemed troubled

mustering the words to forcefully address the allegations

Lewis canceled his appearance here tonight because the New York Times broke this story today five women are accusing Lewis Creek of sexual misconduct

Colbert said when reached for comment Jesus said

Lalalalala, I don t want to hear about it. I was a big fan now

These are disturbing allegations

And it was just the latest in an avalanche of allegations against powerful and prominent men Harvey Weinstein Bill

O'Reilly Roger Ailes Kevin Spacey and a lot of men look at this misbehavior

And they feel there is nothing I can do well last night one man stepped up to do it

Country music star and sold patch safe space Keith Urban that was basically it

From there Colbert pivoted to satirizing the singer US head-scratching new song female it s

understandable that Colbert and some of his colleagues might need a moment before they can find the words to speak out about

Creakin like other alleged abusers the comedian ran and their exact same circles

They performed it benefits together and collaborated on programs like Saturday Night Live

Though there has been a firestorm of allegations against various Hollywood men this one might hit home in a much darker way for these comedy

Not all of whom mentioned it in their broadcasts

Like Colbert Myers delivered only a glancing blow at Creek after mentioning the allegations against

Alabama senatorial candidate or more Myers joked politics are so full of perverts and deviants

I am so glad I work in comedy as

He uttered those words an image of the times expose appeared on screen at which point he yelled

dammit

It is worth noting that Myers previously took his time when addressing the initial

Weinstein scandal doling out jokes over the course of a few days and

Culminating in a longer closer look segment a week after the news had broken

Their us a chance late night has similar plans here the creek news also broke mid afternoon

Giving late night hosts little time to make sense of it perhaps that s. Why neither Jimmy Kimmel nor James Corden mentioned it at all

Jimmy Fallon is airing reruns this week after his mother s death on Saturday

But on Comedy Central both Trevor Noah and Jordan Klepper made sure to bring up Creek and Klepper more than anyone in late-night TV

came after Creek card at this point

We're going to need a new Oscar category this year best sector whose movies

We come to watch anymore Nowell said on The Daily Show and you know in fact at this point

Now that I think about it all the women in Hollywood should win double Oscars for acting like all the men were cool all along

Thanks to the conceit of his show at Colbert Report like FAR's in which the host plays an ultra right-wing

Blowhard cloupor was able to attack the news from a different angle entirely big news today affecting the world s most vulnerable

population powerful white men he said before playing at montage of accusations against Creek and more

Good Lord, Klepper said once the clips cut off

It has a confusing time, so we should return to what we know good old-fashioned phrases people say when sexual assault allegations arise

Phrases like you should separate the man from the earth, so please when you are watching Lois Creek s movie

I Love You Debbie a film about an old man dating an underage woman featuring a serial masturbator

Please don t think of Lois Creek s accusers
