This museum covers everything you can think of...

Everything Lamborghini ever produced.

From the first tractor until the last automobiles...

...created by my father, Ferruccio Lamborghini.

Here we can find everything he created.

Both industrial and unique pieces...

...he created for his own use.

Like this "Barchetta" he created to compete in the Mille Miglia.

Almost everything that can be connected to the life of my father can be found here.

These 6000 m2 are filled with things from his world...

...I was able to collect over the years.

Only seldom people think, during production...

...to collect items for the future.

Usually you sell everything that is produced.

My father didn't like it too much...

...I was searching all over the place for old items.

My father lived for the future and was never...

...intrested in things from the past...

...because he was thinking about tomorrow, not today and certainly not yesterday.

Until the day I showed him the very first tractor...

...he built in 1947, completely restored

"Papa, come! Look!" I started the engine for him...

...and saw his eyes started to shine.

Then he said:

"At your age, I didn't have a penny"

It was his way of agreeing.

To me, driving the Miura is something incredable.

Naturally because I know what kind of a jewel this is...

...that was only driven by a few.

This belonged to him once and that gives a very special feeling.

Every time I ride it I need six instead of four eyes.

Two to look forward.Two for left and right and two to look behind me.

Because this is a larger responsibility to handle...

...than the value of this car only.

I have the opportunity to show the world this symbol...

...of Italianiticy, an example of design.

And the symbool of the personality of my grandfather.

La Miura consists of all elements of the mythe...

...my grandfather created...

...and developed around him.

We don't need to elucidate...

Everybody alredy knows what I am talking about.

The Lamborghini's always were a farming family.

Mainly stock breeding and agraric products.

It was a lively bunch of people.

Both my grandfather and great-grandfather were entrepeneurs.

Brave also.

My father, who was born in this family, did not want to be a farmer.

When he was young, he decided to get a technical education.

My grandfather didn't have arguments against it and so, he went to Bologna...

...where he got unsalaried work as assistent at the "Officina Righi"...

...where he learned everything.

Serving his country he was send...

...to the island Rhodos in the Aegean sea...

There he became corporal and got responsible for transportation.

He did well. Not only because he knew more about it than others...

...but also because he tinkered on the cars of his superiours.

On Rhodos het met my mother.

At the end of the war they returnded to Italy...

...they got married and I was born.

But he didn't return to Italy right after...

but stayed on the island...

...to fix cars for the inhabitants.

He got payed in golden pounds.

A part of this money he brought to Italy when he returned.

It did hide it in his underwear.

The other part he hid in a wall at the harbour of Rhodos.

20 years later, he returned to collect the money...

...but the harbour was rebuilded and the money was gone.

He already earned a lot of money as...

...the largest tractor manufacturer in Italië.

Even now the money was gone... That didn't matter too much.

As he reeturned in Italië...

...he realised everything had to be rebuilt again.

As offspring from a farmers family...

...he understood like no other Italy needed tractors.

Italy needed agro-mechanisation first...

...and it needs to fit in the tight budget of the small farmer.

He knew about a large number of engines...

...and other parts that were left behind by the American forces.

He bought as much as possible of these...

...unused parts and built this type of tractor.

It was the most eceonomic tractor by far for the time with lots of power.

This was a winning move.

The gearbox, engine and differential were changed.

This way he was able to forfill the Marshallplan by telling the farmers:

"Just take this tractor and pay nothing for now"

"You pay me back afterwards as soon your production is rentable"

"Because, using this machine let you work your acres in a..."

"...better results than using other machines or an ox"

"Your production will grow"

"Then you earn more money and you start paying me back"

These powerful American engines consumed a lot of fuel.

Americans were not familiar with fuel shortage.

So my father developed a system where the engine was started on regular fuel.

And as the engine was warmed after about 5 minutes...

...the fuel was closed and the engine continued on petrol.

Petrol was mostly used for lanterns.

This vaporisation system for petrol...

...made the tractor economical to use.

His motto was quality and innovation.

You have to be better and more innovative than the competitors.

It is no coincidence when a brand gets famous and writes history.

Driving a Miura is an experience.

From the first moment I got into it, it touched me.

It is a totally different concept and...

...not only because of the history, but also because of the special handling.

I never experienced a sportscar you can compare with the Miura.

The Miura, like all Lamborghini heritage is ours...

...and should be accessible by everybody...

...so people can learn the history of my grandfather.

So people can learn about his tractors,

vaporisers, hydraulics but also about his wines.

These traditions should be kept for future generations.

Carrying my grandfathers name is quite a responsibility

I am very proud of it.

Even as a little boy, I realised What a genius he was...

..recognised in Italy and also in the rest of the world.

In allaspects, his entrepreneurship, his currage, his ideas.

I know when you carry this name people expect something.

It is not easy, specially as adolescent, to accept this.

I was born under a special star so to speak..

Realising this I try to be as professional as possible...

...in my work.

Respecting the family principles...

...and the things I know were important to my grandfather, like...

...reaching the goals he set for himself.

This car was built on a Fiat Topolino...

...customised by my father with a friend of his from Ferrara.

The side valve engine came from a Topolino A but he changed it into topvalves.

These were used later on in the series Topolino B and Topolino C

This Topolino was the car...

...in wich my parents were married.

In this car he competed, together with co-pilot Gianluigi Baglion,

...in the Mille Miglia.

This little car was good for about 160 km/h.

In a curve in Fano they miscommunicated.

The copiloot told: "Curve to the right!" But it actually went toi the left.

It was dark and they were tired, and drove right into a restaurant.

Bothe the car and the restaurant were totally demolished...

...maar er waren gelukkig geen doden of gewonden

...and they were lucky there were no casualties or woundeds

Why the Miura is historic?

How many beautiful cars were produced in the world?

They are beautiful but have no soul.

The Miura was mechanically such innovative...

...competitors had to recognise.

When we are talking about cars, we can talk about pre-Miura and post-Miura.

As this was respected by the competitors it must be there was a good reason for it.

It is no coincidence the...

"Museum of Modern Art" showed in New York from 1965 until 1966...

...the Miura in their permanent exhibition.

All this succes was caused by my father who never was satisfied.

His goal was perfection and to do what never was done before.

Just like the early tractors.

Some Lamborghini's were built with a traditional setup.

Equipped with a 12 cilinder engine in the front.

They used to have about 120 hp extra...

...compared to Ferrari's and Maserati's at the time..

But it also was equipped with independent suspension...

...for overhead camshafts, double sparkplugs...

...and dry sump.

Much more than any competitor.

Realise Ferrari en Maserati still had fixed rear axles.

In a fast curve the axle might jump and cause a sideslip.

Lamborghini built the first cars with independent suspension.

Just like F1 racecars's.

But he stil was not satisfied, yet As innovative it was already...

...he wanted more.

He instructed ingenieur Dallara and asked him:

"Why we still build cars having the engine in the front?"

"Let's place the engine in the middle."

The engine had to be in the middle instead of the back...

...because that was done before.

Porsche, Abarth and others like Renault had their engines in the rear.

What does a mid-engine mean? It means the car hanling is neutral.

It was a transverse mid-engine with integrated gearbox and...

the differentieel combined in one piece.

This was a nouvelty, This didn't exsist.

Nobody did this before.

And so, the Miura was born.

Bertone gave it the bodywork...

...after tight specifications given by my father...

...because he sticked his nose in everything.

"I need it to be such and such and such."

"You have the pencils and draw it for me."

"But I need it to be such and such and such."

And so the myth was born.

Well... it was a battle with himself.

The pleasure discovering, The satisfaction of success.

It doesn't always happen. Not everything is a first time right.

Everybody makes mistakes.

He died when I was 2 years old.

I don't have personal memories of him. At home we have some pictures.

Just a handful of pictures of us together on my baptise and a family gathering.

There are no more memories.

But I would have liked it very much. Really very much.

I would ask him many questions.

The first question I would like to ask would be:

"What is your secret?"

Asked this way, it can mean anything...

...but I would ask him: "What is te sectret...de spirit..."

Questions about his life filosophy he had and only he could know.

My father told me a lot about my grandfather.

Now I know a lot about how he stood in life and in the company.

But that can't be compared to...

...the possibilty asking him in person.

What is left behind is for all people who knew him...

...his geniality, his great insights..

both in life and in business.

But also with a light approach

Serious with the right licht touch.

I thik that is the secret that made him so special...

...and brought him these genius idea's.

And the special things he created.

This is the question I like to ask him...

Horror Poster Advent Calendar - Day Eight - Duration: 1:15.

Welcome back to Dark Corners Advent Calendar of Horror.

We're in Dark Corners private art collection of the cinematic grotesque, continuing our countdown to Christmas with another great poster.

Not everything in this list has to be classic or trash,

there's room for average too.

Fun though it is, no one is putting April Fools Day on any top ten list - but damn that's a fine poster.

It's not particularly eye catching, it doesn't force on you a hard sell of the movie or throw stars at you.

But it's clever, which is something underrated and frankly, pretty rare, in poster design.

The knife is easy and obvious but the hair noose is a stroke of genius.

But what I love most about the poster is two things.

Firstly; with the two murder methods front and centre, I really wonder what's in that glass.

Secondly; look at those people in the background - what a bunch of jackasses.

I can't wait to see them die.

Paul Scholes believes Liverpool FC are capable of beating any European club at Anfield in

the Champions League.

The Reds were 5-1 winners against promoted side Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier

League last weekend thanks to goals from Emre Can, Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino.

Liverpool FC have won five of their last six games in the Premier League to hoist themselves

up to fourth place in the Premier League.

Indeed, Jurgen Klopp's men have scored 19 times in their last seven top-flight games

get their top-four challenge back on track.

The Merseyside outfit remain unbeaten in the Champions League in the current campaign ahead

of their final group-stage clash against CSKA Moscow at Anfield on Wednesday night.

Liverpool FC are 14 points adrift of Premier League leaders Manchester City and Klopp's

men crashed out of the League Cup in the third round following a 2-0 loss at Leicester City.

The 18-time English champions' will be hoping to secure their first piece of silverware

under Klopp in the Champions League or the FA Cup.

Former Manchester United midfielder Scholes offered his positive thoughts on the Liverpool

FC side.

"Liverpool at home are deadly.

Away, they're good as well, but at home they can out-score any team," Scholes told

Japan buys missiles capable of striking North Korea in preparation for WW3

JAPAN has purchased missiles capable of reaching North Korea as tensions reach breaking point

in the region.

The country has snapped up medium-range, air-launched cruise missiles from the US – its longest-range

weapons yet.

Japan is boosting its military arsenal as the nuclear threat from tyrant Kim Jong-un

grows.

Defence Minister Itsunori Onodera said: "We are planning to introduce the JSM (Joint Strike

Missile) that will be mounted on the F-35A (stealth fighter) as 'stand-off' missiles

that can be fired beyond the range of enemy threats."

Its military will also mount JASSM-ER (Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missiles) on its F-15

jets.

The JSM has a range of 310 miles while the JASSM-ER can hit targets 620 miles away – putting

North Korea just in range.

Japan's missiles have previously been limited to anti-aircraft and anti-ship munitions,

with ranges of less than 186 miles.

The country adopted a near-pacifist policy after World War 2 and was restricted from

having offensive military forces.

However, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has since considered revising the constitution as North

Korea continues with its reckless missile tests.

Kim fired another ballistic weapon last month that reached an altitude of 2,780 miles before

landing in Japanese waters.

Based on its trajectory and distance, it would have a range of more than 8,100 miles.

The country says the newly developed Hwasong-15 has "much greater advantages in its tactical

and technological specifications and technical characteristics" than its Hwasong-14 ICBM.

230 US jets and around 12,000 soldiers are now carrying out drills on the Korean Peninsula

after the weapons test.

Nuclear explosion tracker Constant Phoenix has also gone airborne as fears of another

launch loom.

North Korea has warned war is "inevitable" if the US continues to pressure them into

giving up its nukes.

Kim has refused to bow to global pressure from UN despite a raft of sanctions slapped on Pyongyang.

and today I want to speak about VisualKei

Yuriko: Well, I need to do my hair also as VisualKei

She told me just now that she was a fan of VisualKei before she came to Japan

and since she arrived here, she didn't like it anymore, apparently...

YURIKO: Why VisualKei?

It all started, because I wanted to become a singer, it was my dream, although I wasn't that good back in time

but since I participated in this Japanese show, I started to take some singing lessons

because you will never know

you should know that our life is full of opportunities,

I had a lot of opportunities, but I wasn't always capable of taking them, because I hadn't had the possibility

for example: I wasn't that good in singing like now, so

if I recieved a opportunity to sing, I couldn't.

So I said to me: I study singing because you never know, I go to the gym, because you never know

YURIKO: Isn't Seba great? He likes to work really hard!

Well, I'm doing YouTube, also if nobody is watching...

ok, it's not true, you are a few people, but good ones

I'm doing it...you know just in case that something happens

Anyhow, what did happen?

I signed to a very famous producer, that worked with a lot of idols

like the Kat-ton, his name is Joey Carbone

So, I signed to him and he presented me at SONY and AVEX, and they were interested

because I had this quite "right" look, a white person with these asiatic features

It was a look that worked very good, you know tall - thin ...

However there was this earthquake and I had to go back to Italy, where you here when that happened?

YURIKO: No, I came here two years after

so, in 2011 there was this earthquake,

I was in the Avex studios when that happened...

so, luckily it happened that day, because if I had signed, they wouldn't have spent a penny for a foreign artist

because it was a "unusual" and new product

so you need to put a lot of money for this kind of singer.

It was a time where YouTube didn't work very well, it wasn't that easy as now

YURIKO: good times!

Good times, yes, but if you didn't had an agency you had no chance to enter in this world.

Back in time an agency spent a lot of money in promoting a singer.

YURIKO: it's true, now you can self-produce your own music

Well, now since I started to compose I produced like 30/40 MV, so

I continue in doing them...it's like self-promoting!

YURIKO: Aren't they great?!

among thousand things she did one beautiful single

YURIKO: but really little...

YURIKO: yes, but why VisualKei? You know what VisualKei is right? These guys that are dressed and wear make-up...they look a bit femm---

YURIKO: however it has all to do with the image.

The funny thing about this whole journey of VisualKei started from Italy.

I was in a VisualKei band in Italy!

YURIKO: (she's freaking out^^)

YURIKO: I went to VisualKei concerts and one of my first concert was the LM.C concert

and that time I escaped from home...I was only 14 years old!

- to see the concert.

and they gave you also an advertising flyer... I think that I came a bit after that period

YURIKO: Yes you came after, but I understand now who you were!

I was in this band called DNR, I also had to sing with them, but the producer didn't like me...

Indeed a lot of things did happen to me, just as you with the idol,

like you wanted to do something, but they didn't let you

I took part in a show, I was modelling

and when I started with this band I hadn't had that much increase in followers,

but well, I kept on doing music so it increased a bit

and then I also continued, because I started to work with a japanese band.

A lot of things did happen, also not so good, with this italian band

So, a few things did happen.

If you watch a MV that I did with this band

you can see me in the last part before the refrain, that I move my mouth,

I actually did sing that part, but they never putted my voice in the song

So it's basically me only moving the mouth, with the main singer's voice.

A lot of things did happen, but it was a great experience!

We went to V-Rock, it's the biggest rock concert in Japan

There was Pamyu Pamyu, the Versailles, the Vivid

YURIKO: it's one of my future main goals!

- Maybe also Marilyn Manson...or was it the year before? whatever there where a lot of people.

YURIKO: So your experience was born in Italy?

Did you decide to do VisualKei, or did you want to try?

- No...in reality

I had no clue what it was...

really

It wasn't actually a type of music - style that I would have choosen

it all started by chance.

It wasn't that easy, you know?

I started as model - actor, so I was alone

to be in a band with 4 other people

it's difficult, you need to adapt.

I'm the type of person that loves perfection and wants that everything is perfect

I need to specify that my experience as VisualKei, wasn't that marked with the italian band

I stayed in this band for 1,5 years and maybe I did 3 or 4 concerts, so

it was a small thing...

With this Japanese band, I recieved the offer to sing and play...

so I thought, why not? let's try!

This band was called Ecthelion

but also there I was kept in the background,

the first time thay said to me: yes you can write songs, you can do some featuring, and so on...

in reality they never used one of my songs,

well, I don't know if mine are better than theirs,

but I do this for work and they don't ...

but also there where a lot of...

these are competitive worlds and also a little bit sneaky,

there where also a lot of things that I didn't like,

I stayed in this band for 2 years, I think,

but we did like a concert every 2 weeks, we did like 4-5 Tours in Japan

But I was working also as a model and I couldn't partecipate in some concerts,

and I said that also from the start to my other band members

I became like a "special" member, when I recognized that they didn't let me do nothing.

I was always the last one putting on make-up,

ok, maybe because I didn't like to have a lot of make-up on my face,

so I was always the last one

They did like the last Live concert

and you know that fans give these flowers to everyone,

well they can also cost about 1000 euro if they're big,

so they gave them to all members and mine wasn't there,

and I was like: look at these fans!

In reality the fans did ask the leader if I would be there, and he said no.

I was there like...how can I not be present at the last concert?

so there has been a little of bullying

and expeciallu you have to be very VERY close with your fans

and I like to be close to my fans, but there are limits

it's true, cos many people have an image of vkei like hosts (host club)

and Im not just talking about how they look

it's hard to talk about this topic

because it's a very small and indie world

and I had some amazing experience, I've met some amazing fans

and I have a lot of great memories, however

that totally go agaist who I am

as a person, and the way I think

and when I've realized that vkei is not really about the music

actually music is almost one of the last things in some cases

the most important things are how you like and how you act

with your fans

because those indie bands don't have milions of fans

let's say that for our band a 1000 fans were coming to our show

which is not a huge number of fans, but it's not bad

and at the same time each fans might buy 10 polaroid photos

and 10 cheki can cost up to 5.000-10.000 yen

and some fans might buy even more

so you can understand how at each concert many fans come, they spend a lot

and they go to the band members, which is not bad

however you can't imagine how many expenses a vkei band has

in my case I didn't spend anything, because I was clear from the beginning and we had a contract

since I was also doing modelling

however some other band members didn't have this type of contract and it was quite hard for them

each vkei outfit cos around 100.000 yen (or more)

because they are tailored

each time we had a concert we had to call a make up artist that knows how to do vkei makeup

which cos around at least 20.000 yen each time

travel expenses, renting a car

to bring all the instruments, etc.

and expecially MUSIC VIDEO

expecially us (ecthelion) we were a very active band with lots of music video and new costumes

I was the only one who was wearing it's own personal outfit and they were different each time

but I wasn't like this at the beginning

infact I was way more serious before

but when I've realized what was going on

I've slowly move away from this world

I totally understand you cos it's the same in the idol world

and at the end since they always left as last to get the make up done

I was like you know what? I'm gonna wear sunglasses

and it was actually very annoying that

I could sing, and I could contribute musically to the band

but in none of the band I've been on

I've ever got the chance to do that

and that's why I've chosen to be a solo artist

it was for the best, but it wasn't easy at first, it has been very very hard

so, it's vkei a world that you would recommend or not?

personally NO!

I think the core problem was not having enough female role models, and so by bringing in

these powerful women and instead of asking how do you balance work life and motherhood,

we ask how do you become a better business leader.

And we focus on self-improvement, not their role as a female.

Pines says an immersive experience at the Owen Graduate School of Management changed

everything for her.

After I finished Accelerator, I was like I can do anything.

Accelerator is a four week program where you consult for five companies, you take MBA level

courses, and you work into diverse teams to basically solve real business challenges for

your clients.

Now some of those same graduate school professors are teaching in Vanderbilt's new business

minor program.

Having small classes makes all the difference, because you can really have a great relationship

with a world renowned professor.

How rare is that?

The San Diego, California native says Vanderbilt is the perfect home for her entrepreneurial

spirit.

Vanderbilt combines having a very smart, diverse, exciting, ambitious student population with

a supportive community and that is so rare to find at a top university.

It's also really fun here.

double entry accounting is not this is double entry accounting system debits

equal credit debit do equal credits doughnuts are left credits are right

it's not bank account because I always I don't always hear that but I do hear

that sometimes like well how come my bank account and I messed me up too

because the bank sometimes has like debits or credits like differently than

the double-entry accounting system okay so let me make this analysis here or

this I don't even know it is an anagram analogy thought about this morning

you're like you do music right yeah okay why does your music sound different than

you're like yeah but it's music should it be all the same you're like no so

same with like I guess financials monies or whatever you're like oh well it's

it's about money so it has to be all the same like the bank has to be the same as

double entry accounting system and it's like now I mean it's kind of like

country and rap music you know their music but they're different all your

preconceived notions of what it Devitt is and what a credit is and we're doing

double entry accounting here a debit is left a credit is right that's

pretty much all they are it remember it's the Latin root word

journal entry real quick you believe that let's say we got cash let's say we

got cash a five hundred yeah you all my fives of the guesses in the trash and I

have gotten yelled at that in the past cuz they're willing to say I don't do

shit everyone likes to hate cash 500 and that and let's say it was a revenue

that's gonna your credit revenue a 500 now if you're thinking Bobby did he did

work for 500 for your main job like I did a tax return for $500 so I got the

person gave me $500 cashed up to my debit that's an asset see it goes up and

the revenue would be it's a credit because that's what I do from being work

and that's going up that's that's being increased as well now when I started and

this person left to comment you know they said this is when the light bulb

went off and they figured out it's not good or not bad it's a left or right it

just is I'm saying from personal example this is from a CPA who owns his own

business who struggled so much trust me I struggled so much I think I graduated

college with like a to 7 or to 8 like barely

I already want to to horn too much but I'm definitely one of the most famous

accountants in the world coming from so already know nothing so you can do it

too I used to think okay well cash is cash

is good cash is good who wants to dispute that I don't if you're just beat

that I don't this channel might not be for you so it's a cash good

that's a debit it's in her debit damn it's or good then in the same journal

entry you got revenue you got you got a credit of revenue for 500 revenues good

so I'm like okay well they're both good they're both good I mean I don't know it

just that didn't or I would have something you know it's it's just such a

mind thing so if you think each side are good sometimes you have you have an

expense that's a debit well I mean expenses not good that's money going out

so that's not just bad but cash coming in is good see it's you have good and

bad it just doesn't work and I hope you see that so debit debit left credit

right not good not bad I know I could have done this in five seconds but
