Christmas Activity Boxes for Children - Duration: 6:30.hey guys! Shawn here. We are going to be talking about Christmas Eve worship
services with our kids. I bought these cute little boxes last
year. They say "come let us adore him" and I don't remember where I got them
from. They don't say where but if I remember they will be in the description
box down below where I got these from. We're going to be handing these out at
our Christmas Eve worship service for the kids. I want to talk about
activity boxes first so even if your church isn't doing activity boxes like
ours is probably be a good idea as parent to bring activities with you for
your kids to do. If you don't have nursery,
we do have nursery available at my church, I've got something in my eye.
we do have nursery available at my church for four years old and under but
I know some churches don't have nursery available. As a parent, I always
bring stuff for my kids to do. What we have in here are these cute little
sticker packs, these manger sticker packs. For youtube I will post on
my youtube channel I'll post in the description box, it'll be in the
description box what these are, where these are from.
Actually they say Hobby Lobby. I'm seeing it now. They say Hobby Lobby but
just cute little sticker sheets. Then to put stickers on
I added some index cards. I added index cards so that the kids will
have something to put them on because you know we don't want kids sticking
stickers on Hymnal's our Bibles. Although that would be kind of cute. No
don't do that kids if you're watching. I'm also putting in these cute little
prayer story cube nativity scenes. Story cubes. They have, it's kind of like a
big die and you can just roll it around and tell different parts of the story.
I will link below where I bought these but they have different scriptures
on them too. I don't know if you can see the different pictures of the Christmas
story or on all the different sides but these are really cool. These are good
for younger children. Pipe cleaners. Definitely always add pipe cleaners
especially if you have elementary school-age children.
Pipe cleaners are excellent. My son just loves to play with pipe cleaners. He
constantly has to have something in his hands so he loves having pipe cleaners.
Then some of ours will have little little Bibles in them. Kids just love
little tiny stuff. They love just flipping through little Bibles or
little books that have little tiny things that they can hold in their hands.
Putting in these really cute glitter... what are these called? comment below if
you remember what these are called. I can't remember what kind of lights these are
called. tea lights? no because they're battery operated. But these are stars and I
thought these would be really good especially if you have a children's
worship service on Christmas Eve that does the candle lighting. And maybe you
don't want your child to... maybe your church is awesome and does you know real
candles and real fire but maybe your child isn't ready to hold a real candle,
real fire but they still want to participate so one of these would be
really cute. you can just turn on and your child could still have a light
for them. Then a little bracelet, a word search or some kind of activity
book is good for the older kids. I have a pen in this one for the older kids. You
could put crayons or colored pencils or something to write on
with a you know to write with a little pieces of paper. I'm really excited
about these Christmas boxes that we're going to be having... these activity boxes
we're going to be having this year. Now, in the past, I'm going to share what I've done.
I've done a video on this. I've done Christmas children's worship table
and I will post if you're watching this on youtube I will post the description
for this video down below. Basically, I set up a table outside of the Church
of the things wherever you're worshiping. Actually I've done it inside
of the worship space at a previous church. But just a table and
Christmas lights on it so to attract children's attention. Just have these
kinds of things that I just showed you that are in the box on the worship table.
If you have a more relaxed atmosphere. If you have some kind of like
contemporary service where kids are allowed to roam more freely around
and get up and down during the service, they can just come to a central
table and get their pipe cleaners, their crayons, activity sheets, and
stickers and Christmas books. They can get these activities and take
what they want back to their seat. Then when they're done they can
run back or walk back to the table and get some more.
It's just a nice way to help children feel included in the worship service
especially since a lot of times churches don't have you know a separate activity
for the kids outside of the worship service. Which, in my personal opinion, is
good because I think you know Christmastime especially it's a
wonderful time to have children feel included in the worship service and to
be able to sit as a family together and sing the songs and hear the sermon
or watch the Christmas play or whatever it is as a family together. So
providing activities that kids can do in the pew themselves or bringing them as a
mom or as a Christian parent bringing activities that will help your child to
participate in this worship service just enhances their experience of the
Christmas season.. of Christmas Eve. It helps them to fill included in
the birth of Christ. I really like. I would love to know, in the
description box, if you are going to be attending a Christmas Eve worship
service as a family. 2. I would love to know what would be helpful to you if you
were going to a Christmas Eve service? What would be helpful to you to have
from a church besides having activities or if you have specific
activities in mind will be helpful to you? Is it more helpful to
have a nursery available for your small children? Or do you prefer to have them
in the pew beside you? Is it more helpful to have a kind of
children's church where the kids leave the sanctuary? Like you would prefer them
not to be with you during the Christmas Eve worship service? Would you like for
churches to be more inclusive of children in the worship service? I
would love to hear from you any ideas that you have. Just want to thank
you guys for joining me today. Welcome to all my new subscribers on YouTube. I have
been growing. I think we've added 95 new subscribers over the past month so I
want to say "welcome and thanks for being a part of the prayerlights
community." I will see you guys later. I'm out of here. Bye!

[MV Theory] TT, Knock Knock, Likey and now! HeartShaker - TWICE [스코프] - Duration: 3:17.Hi This is MV Theory OTAKU, SKOPF.
Twice came back with HeartShaker.
There are many meaningful objects in Twice's New Music Video.
Let's take a look at the actions that will remind you of TT and knockknock,
and what it means to STATION.
TWICE has released TWICEcoaster Lane 1 and Lane 2 with two songs, TT and knock knock.
At that time, TWICE showed a double feeling like : 'I wanted to express love, but I could not express it'.
In TT, he cried that her boy would not know her heart,
"You don't know my heart, it's bad! bad!"
In Knock Knock, even if he knew her hidden love, she would not open her mind easily.
"It will not open easily."
These two songs expressed the way the mind was rocking up and down like a rollercoaster train.
And Likey showed 'The train'.
And on top of that scene?
'Likey' song actually had a lot of these hidden elements.
Did you find them all?
In this section,
And the sign in this part
To the last hash tag.
In fact, the HeartShaker was hidden all over the place.
The TT and KnockKnock trains stopped at HeartShaker's train station,
followed by Likey's direct heart expression, Heartshaker has released.
When the train leaves, you'll need a place to get there.
The Heartshaker music video shows the train appearing and the train shaking.
Then the shaking train station.
The train station is shaking as well as the train is shaking.
The building that twice were, STATION
In fact, this railway station was once a Halloween TWICE hiding place in costume,
and mansion where TWICE members wearing pajamas that dreaming romantic encounters.
It is similar composition
So the meaning is similar.
This railway station means TWICE's heart.
Because TWICE 's heart is shaken by the someone,
the doors that were not opened at first are opened,
and at first things that were carefully arranged are fall off the floor now.
TWICE is now out of passive ladies who have just waited for love, and now they have expressed themselves.
We became aware of TWICE's trembling by love.
After that, camera went out of the train station and there are Momo who became two
and TWICE, both of whom had become two.
Double TWICE shows TT and KnockKnock ending poses.
This shows that this album is a continuation of the narration of TT and KnockKnock as mentioned above.
At the same time, it expresses another dual heart of TWICE that is actively expressed, but tense on the one hand.
If you are curious about narratives and another legend of TWICE,
why not look at TWICE's heart shakers?
This was MV Theory OTAKU, SKOPF. Thanks!

Wird man mit Marketing Funnel reich? - OMR Briefing Episode #15 - Duration: 9:05.Stop, Philipp! We're filming.
Okay, okay.
This week:
Get rich quick.
I am being bombarded in my Facebook feed
by ads from dudes, selling
eBooks and other digital products
usually for a boatload of cash.
And they promise beaucoup insider tips.
From a marketing perspective I think it's interesting
how these people do their marketing,
what their funnel is
if this is enough, step by step,
to make money off of us all,
if they find enough people, to buy their stuff or not.
And how it all works.
To this end, we asked our OMR performance marketing expert, Christoph Mühle,
to take a closer look.
And spoke to him a while how it works,
to make a bunch of cash online.
Ciao! See you in a few
Christoph! What's up?
There you are, our OMR Money Guy.
You take care of all our performance marketing campaigns
and we talked and you said you wanted to take a look
at all the Get Rich dudes
you see online and what they're up to,
what kind of marketing funnels they have and what you can learn.
What else did you take a look at?
I first noticed a video ad in my Facebook feed,
where an online marketer
was selling inside info on Instagram
as some kind of digital product.
He talked about crazy profits
that he made on the platform
and it's this insight that he wants to sell us.
He directed us to a landing page
where we could sign up, by entering our email address,
for a free webinar.
How do you think how you made it into his funnel?
Why do you think you saw the very first video ad?
Initially, there is the video audience.
I assume he got me via interest targeting on Facebook.
I have the name Online Marketing Manager in my job title.
Furthermore, there are pages that I liked
that are related to online marketing or digital marketing.
That's certainly possible.
Furthermore, I could have been a part of a lookalike audience,
that he built through his webinar audience.
Ok. What happened next?
So, I entered my email to take part in the webinar.
Then I received a confirmation email,
for the webinar, which was taking place the next day,
around 7:30 at night.
The next morning I received another confirmation email
and a reminder email right before the seminar started.
And each mail had links to the seminar.
And after each of these reminder emails, you committed
to attend the webinar.
Exactly. I invested an hour and a half of my time,
to get incredibly valuable insider info on Instagram marketing.
All of this to finally see
see what's behind the curtain of the product
that he's selling.
And how much did the product cost?
Was there a discount? What happened next?
The product itself was an Instagram marketing course
from the beginning to image editing to ads
to influencer marketing. Everything.
It was supposed to cost 3600 Euro
but was available for the super price of €247.
You didn't buy it because the company didn't approve the purchase.
But what happened next?
I was actually surprised that,
after I didn't buy the product,
I only got one follow-up email.
I actually expected
an additional one or two mails.
Or corresponding Facebook retargeting ads.
Here we can see a sketch of the funnel,
that you just described and went through.
Can you give us your best estimate
for the conversion rates in the steps you just went thorough?
Hard to say with any certainty,
because there are so many variables in the funnel.
So I can guesstimate but never say with certainty.
WE contacted other marketers in our OMR network
and analyzed the funnel.
In our opinion, such an ad, depending on the targeting,
could drive 1 to 2 percent of visitors to the landing page.
In all likelihood, it would be a success
if you could convert over 10% of the webinar participants.
Another problem in the webinar itself
is the No-Show Rate. That's also evinced by the 2 emails,
that were sent out on the same day,
which are aimed at keeping the no-show rate down.
Then we would estimate
that the conversion rate for the digital product
together with the follow-up emails should be
at about 5% of the webinar attendees.
And they have to be around there
because with the usual Facebook ad costs
and cost of the product itself
means the costs are already high.
So, now we've seen how much the product should cost.
With a huge discount, there is still only €250 left.
How much do you think the order cost after all the funnel steps?
Not much at all.
I would guess that,
I would have spent about €200 if I had made it.
So, if he knows what he's doing marketingwise
he'd have a €50 margin for every transaction.
Not quite. He's selling his product on Digi-Store.
Digi-Store charges 7.9 percent
for products under €1000, plus an additional €1 per transaction.
That would also be subtracted.
Ok, well most get rich quick products
and similar niche eBooks and digital products,
have a less than stellar reputation.
What was your impression? WHat's your opinion on the funnel?
The figures that he's pushing are absolute best cases,
that none of us have ever seen.
That our friends had never seen.
And probably won't ever see.
That's what he's selling.
That's the USP for his digital product
which he is promoting.
The discount seemed excessive.
As if he was aiming for a quick sell
or conversion through the discount.
Do you think
that the entrepreneur who's behind it
got rich off of it?
A margin of almost €50 is a lot.
If you can do that 1000 times
what's your opinion?
It depends a lot on his targeting.
How focussed and how broad his target groups are.
In my view, I would say
that the lead price or the order or CPO
would increase quickly.
After 1 or 2 weeks,
he would probably need to think about new creatives
new video ads, new stories,
to keep the funnel going.
Facebook is very fickle about things like that.
And then you'd have to find
another scenario that works the same way,
where the figures are the same as we just described.
It is by no means a sustainable product
based on a sustainable strategy.
I think best case,
he could generate sales in the low 3-figure range.
Do you think the initial claim of turning €100
into €2000 is realistic?
Well, I am obviously also constantly trying
to reach such figures here at OMR.
I have friends and acquaintances
who have best cases where
they have generated 200 fold of the ad spend,
who have turned €100 into €20,000 in revenue.
Everything else, however,
turning €100 into €197,000 is extremely ambitious.
Okay, we'll we can still dream, right?
I am happy that you're taking care of the marketing for us here.
I'm out. Peace!
A quick request for all of you:
Get involved! Tell us your favorite examples
of clever funnel marketing,
where people or companies
have built very good funnels,
and have step by step turned
users into buyers.
Thanks a lot!

World of Tanks - Best Replays of the Week International #72 - Duration: 15:32.Hello, I'm Luke Kneller and welcome to Best Replays of the Week.
In this episode we have: a T-54 platoon on a rampage,
a WZ 111 5A pulling the weight of a whole team,
and a T-54 Lightweight wishing for an ammo drop.
Roll out!
Our first replay comes from Cations from the SEA region.
This little T25 pilot is heavily outgunned in this matchup.
But with good gun depression, even the smallest of tanks can have a big impact.
10 degrees gun depression should be enough
for a standard battle on Westfield though…
The northern ridges will be the perfect place to get stuck in!
Amazing aim, Cations!
Constantly hitting this Emil 2's tiny cupola, and chipping away at its HP.
Well, the battle's not going too badly over here.
Until a penning HE shell from the IS-3
takes away a third of our heroe's hitpoints… urgh.
This Foch B seems keen to simply stare at the ridge line.
Fine, you do that and I'll take the damage.
Since the Foch is AFK, let's farm it for… ouch! OK, not AFK!
Whilst licking their wounds,
Cations notices a Tiger II in the middle of the town. And this 30B!
Really? Another TD… How many TD's are there anyway?
Five?! Great.
Well, that's the last of our hitpoints gone, so no more risky peaks from now on…
after this revenge shot!
Now if you've ever wanted to know how to abuse a hill, pay attention to this!
The battle situation doesn't look too bad,
Cations team is a tank up, but the capture has started.
So it's time to perform a cleanup at the base!
Just like fish in a barrel.
Some overeager teammates are throwing away the hard-won advantage.
Time to start dealing damage again and retain control of the base.
This Foch can't fight on two fronts
and chooses to aim at the lumbering German monster.
That's our opportunity to strike!
Now it's a 1 vs 1
as the last of the attackers assaulting the base have been slain.
Time to start looking for this WZ.
Eh, never mind…
Nice, the WZ wasn't even in position behind the building yet!
All control is given to the defender if you cap from a known location.
Perfect reset.
Some hasty shots miss their mark but eventually the gun executes its purpose.
A masterful display of baiting and damage dealing,
netting our hero almost 7 thousand damage in a tier 10 match-up
and a very commendable base XP.
Brothers in Arms
Staying on the SEA region, we are now joined by a platoon of T-54s on Erlenberg.
Named Veterans, lets see what their experience can show us.
Heading east is unwise from this spawn, so our platoon heads west
to try and secure it as rapidly as possible.
This RU is spotted but the shots fail to connect.
Never mind, he won't last long there.
Super heavies trundling over the field find themselves totally exposed.
Let's teach them how the map works by quickly cutting them down.
Most of the enemy team are on the eastern flank
so our platoon swoops in to quickly mop up these stragglers.
No hiding there, FV!
Now this Erlenberg battle has progressed to the usual East-West divide.
The enemy has tried to make a break in the North however,
so the first objective is shut that down first!
This T34 and WZ are quickly overwhelmed
by the raw damage output of 3 tier 9 mediums.
Time to proceed into the enemy's lines.
Wise decision to leave the lowest HP back to support.
Digging out this SuperPershing will be tough at this range.
Time to close the distance and gain some elevation!
Danger! The AMX 30 has rushed to the Super Pershing's aid, it's 2 vs 2.
An overpeak by the AMX! Here's our chance!
Charge!
Oh no, another contender joins the fray.
No time to panic. Quick! Focus fire!
Great teamwork allows the combined might of the T-54's to crush the enemies 1 by 1.
In the meantime, the T-54 left in support
has been resisting an assault upon the base, but needs help, and soon!
Looks like reinforcements are just on time.
More focus fire on the T-44-100 drops him from full HP
and the T26E5 soon follows.
Now, everyone is severely damaged
and that Bat-Chat is able to one shot the whole platoon.
This should be done with precision as not to… throw away the game…
Will the Bat-Chat be able to do this?!
Oh. Well, err… that's a questionable route of retreat.
I guess the end was an easier fight than expected
but the battle before was hard won.
A monstrous carry with 14 combined kills
shows that this platoon lives up to their names
of Verteran_OHo, Tiger_205 and 222.
Great teamwork, guys, worthy of our Brothers in Arms award!
Top Gun
We travel now to Fjords on the EU region.
Lellena is driving the recently added WZ 111 5A.
This Chinese powerhouse is a jack of all trades,
which is perfect for those players who like to carry against the odds.
The North pass is a good place to put this powerful gun to work, me thinks.
This T-54 lightweight is being troublesome but no retaliation is possible…
yet! Not so fast!
With the T-54 Light abandoning the crossfire,
there is nothing to stop Lellena farming their way
through these lovely, lovely hit points.
A nice 2 kills accompanied by decent damage is not a bad start to this match.
But there's more work to be done elsewhere on the map.
That bush won't hide you from this close, T30.
The enemies here are not so easy to pick off.
A better shooting location is required.
Hey! That's the T-54 Light from earlier.
It's impossible to remain here in the field with 3 arty still in play,
and the base needs to be defended.
There is solid cover in the base, so… let's kill two birds with one stone.
Finally, this troublemaker does something useful. Provides a perfect hulldown!
That 597 HE roll just makes you feel good, doesn't it?
But back on track… it's 1 vs 9.
This situation couldn't be any worse, really.
Remaining safe from the arty will be top priority here.
As well as punishing mistakes like that one…
and that one…
and wait… oh, that one, too.
I'm guessing they're a bit overconfident.
Is there another? Of course there is! Four kills in a single minute.
That brings the total up to 8, but Lellena isn't done yet.
That Grille is still managing to protect allies from the grave…
Focus. This STRV must be dealt with to remove the crossfire!
I know the GW is on reload, so this T30 is safe to dispatch.
Blast, but I forgot about the SU still in the enemy base.
There goes the last of the HP reserve.
This Mauschen is caught side on.
And stays side on… Hello? Angling?
Two arties remain, so the best thing will be to catch them unaware with a flank.
Side on! Perfect! Only… urgh!
Never mind, as bringing a 1 vs 9 situation so close
was a feat of brilliance in and of itself.
11 kills in such circumstances certainly qualifies as our Top Gun of the week.
Great job, Lellena!
Crucial Contribution
Sticking with the EU region, next up is Ragean driving their E-50.
Malinovka is a great map for this accurate damage dealer,
so let's see how it goes.
Their advanced scout and a SuperPershing are spotted really early,
so I don't mind if I do!
And a good HE shell finishes the job.
Now back to business on the hill.
Who's up first? Not so confident now, O-Ho.
Better wait for backup next time!
The windmill offers some cover from arty
and is a great structure to sidescrape off.
These enemies don't stand a chance when they are on the downward slope.
The hill was almost too easy, with almost 8,000 damage in just 6 minutes,
although half of which was just driving into position!
That WZ is being a bit overzealous, down boy!
Some side shots on this VK don't hurt either.
Okay… the FV was passive spotting this whole time.
Talk about a waste.
Ragean's commander has been knocked out,
so it's better to act as a sniper for the team as spotting is almost impossible.
The forest is clear and the med kit comes off cooldown.
It's time to drive back in again. Forward!
Hey! Who put this here?
This position offers the perfect rear shots on the enemy base campers.
You're not going anywhere, M53. That HP is mine.
Same goes for you, WZ. Boom!
Well, Ragean, that seems to be all of them.
You weren't gonna let your team lose this one, were you?
As you dealt more damage than your entire team combined!
Eleven thousand in a mostly tier 8 match.
Now that's what I call a crucial contribution.
Heartbreak
Finally, we've arrived at the pinnacle of the show: the best replay of the week.
This time Naras from the EU region
will be commanding their T-54 Lightweight on Windstorm.
Not the best map around for light tanks,
but Naras knows a useful boost to get some better opening spots.
Nice few shots of damage to boot!
The familiar sound of arty signals it's time to move on.
Might as well help take down this IS-2.
Looking at the minimap shows that this side of the river is pretty much secured.
A KV-3! Time to hunt!
Urgh, that bounce on the KV-3 is painful to watch.
This T-54 lightweight's accuracy isn't the best, even at medium range.
But shooting at a 13 90 four hundred meters away is no problem…
Naras knows that attempting to shoot the T28 HTC at this range
would just be a waste of ammo, so it's better to move on.
Counter boosting the church might not be a bad idea.
It provides lots of good spotting angles.
Voila, arty destroyed.
Will these TDs ever learn?
Well that was fun. But this positions usefulness is basically exhausted now
so relocating quickly is a great move.
Nothing to stop our hero using this boost twice now, is there?
Well, 1 shot was better than nothing, I suppose… but what to do now?
What?! The town was lost? Urgh…
This position works a wonder to halt the Löwe and Jadgpanther's advances.
The lion is isolated from the pack now!
Consider yourself outplayed with the one-two combo.
Remember that trick everyone, it's always good!
Our hero is down to 11 shells that do 250 damage.
With a quick calculation, this one will be very close.
The enemy team are scrambling to tear our Borsig to pieces!
Not if we can help it!
A hit and run on the Strv knocks one gun out of the game,
but not before they managed to get the last friendly. Damn.
5 against 1, 10 shells. Run!
Nice ambush on the FCM! A much needed high roll.
Over-eagerness from the enemy team has cost them another tank.
Wait, what?!
Oh! I forgot they had arty! Hello!
7 shots left for 3 enemies. Is this doable?
Move, move, move! Reposition is key to victory here!
Down to 6 now.
5! No no no, don't rush the shots! You need them!
The 5th remaining shell goes to the T-43 during some very acrobatic maneuvering.
Not again! Panic has settled in a little.
Three shots remaining now,
and it doesn't take a mathematician to work this one out.
A ram or a push in the water will be needed
as both of these tanks are far too close to the cap.
Third time on this boost, maybe Naras should construct a house up here.
The WZ fluffs their shot, time to pounce.
That's that sorted, but eh, small problem. Actually a very big problem.
No more shells. Where's an ammo drop when you need one?
What else is there to do other than go for the cap?
Maybe these bushes will let us cap this out without being spotted?
Oh no, our hero's bottom was slightly out of the bush and the cap fails.
Well there goes the last chance to win. It's going to be a draw.
Some heartfelt chat between teammates
as Naras drives around praying for a miracle.
Thinking about those two missed shots
must be about as painful as aiming at this oblivious T28 right now.
Unfortunate to be so close to a win and have it swept away like that.
But maybe it's some consolation that we recognized the skill shown in this battle.
Trying to scrabble together a win in such a situation was not easy,
so we award Naras our Best Replay of the Week!
That's all for this week.
Let me know what you think of these battles in the comments down below
or on our weekly Reddit thread!
I'm Luke Kneller, thanks for watching, and I'll see you next time!

CNN caught in the most epic FAKE NEWS fail we've seen yet… and t - Duration: 12:18.CNN caught in the most epic FAKE NEWS fail weve seen yet and they still refuse
to fully retract their blatant lie
If you hope to understand whats actually happening in the world around you and
why half the country seems so chronically misinformed and delusional you must know
the details of what just happened at CNN on Friday.
CNN was just caught in the most epic fake news fail weve ever witnessed, pushing
out an utterly false piece of fake news that got a crucial date wrong, then using the wrong
date to falsely declare that Trump colluded with Wikileaks on behalf of the Russians.
In one of the most embarrassing and pathetic examples of shoddy journalism the world has
ever seen, CNN news-tards hyperventilated over the fake news and spread their falsehoods
to millions of readers and viewers across multiple news networks, instilling utterly
false information into the minds of Americans.
This continued for nearly a full day until they realized they got a key fact wrong which
invalidated the entire story.
But instead of apologizing and correcting the news, most journalists swept it under
the rug and pretended nothing happened, leaving millions of news consumers with factually
wrong information that most of them still believe to be true.
This is how the left-wing media operates now: Push fake news, refuse to retract it, then
move on to the next fake news story.
This is nothing less than the weaponization of fake news to overthrow the results of a
democratic election.
The Intercepts Glenn Greenwald the journalist who broke the Edward Snowden story
details this epic fake news fail in a truly bombshell article that every intelligent
person should review.
Its entitled, The U.S. Media Yesterday Suffered its Most Humiliating Debacle in Ages:
Now Refuses All Transparency Over What Happened.
This is one of the best pieces of critical thinking journalism youll ever find.
Im reprinting part of that story here and urging you to share this with everyone you
know.
Truth be told, the mainstream media in America has been weaponized against the public, and
it only serves now to cause fear, delusion and mania among the voters through the deliberate
publication of wildly false and misleading news.
The internet gatekeepers, meanwhile such as Facebook, Google and Twitter censor
the independent media in order to grant the fake news legacy media a monopoly over all
narratives even if those narratives are grossly false and maliciously fabricated (as
youll see below).
(Related: Find real-time breaking news from all the most censored independent journalism
websites on the net at Censored.news.)
Heres part of the story from Greenwald, via The Intercept:
The U.S. Media Yesterday Suffered its Most Humiliating Debacle in Ages: Now Refuses All
Transparency Over What Happened
FRIDAY WAS ONE of the most embarrassing days for the U.S. media in quite a long time.
The humiliation orgy was kicked off by CNN, with MSNBC and CBS close behind, with countless
pundits, commentators and operatives joining the party throughout the day.
By the end of the day, it was clear that several of the nations largest and most influential
news outlets had spread an explosive but completely false news story to millions of people, while
refusing to provide any explanation of how it happened.
The spectacle began on Friday morning at 11:00 am EST, when the Most Trusted Name in News
spent 12 straight minutes on air flamboyantly hyping an exclusive bombshell report that
seemed to prove that WikiLeaks, last September, had secretly offered the Trump campaign, even
Donald Trump himself, special access to the DNC emails before they were published on the
internet.
As CNN sees the world, this would prove collusion between the Trump family and WikiLeaks and,
more importantly, between Trump and Russia, since the U.S. intelligence community regards
WikiLeaks as an arm of Russian intelligence, and therefore, so does the U.S. media.
This entire revelation was based on an email which CNN strongly implied it had exclusively
obtained and had in its possession.
The email was sent by someone named Michael J. Erickson someone nobody had heard
of previously and whom CNN could not identify to Donald Trump, Jr., offering a decryption
key and access to DNC emails that WikiLeaks had uploaded. The email was a smoking
gun, in CNNs extremely excited mind, because it was dated September 4 ten days before
WikiLeaks began promoting access to those emails online and thus proved that the
Trump family was being offered special, unique access to the DNC archive: likely by WikiLeaks
and the Kremlin.
Its impossible to convey with words what a spectacularly devastating scoop CNN believed
it had, so its necessary to watch it for yourself to see the tone of excitement, breathlessness
and gravity the network conveyed as they clearly believed they were delivering a near-fatal
blow on the Trump/Russia collusion story:
There was just one small problem with this story: it was fundamentally false, in the
most embarrassing way possible.
Hours after CNN broadcast its story and then hyped it over and over and over the
Washington Post reported that CNN got the key fact of the story wrong.
The email was not dated September 4, as CNN claimed, but rather September 14 which
means it was sent after WikiLeaks had already published access to the DNC emails online.
Thus, rather than offering some sort of special access to Trump, Michael J. Erickson
was simply some random person from the public encouraging the Trump family to look at the
publicly available DNC emails that WikiLeaks as everyone by then already knew had
publicly promoted.
In other words, the email was the exact opposite of what CNN presented it as being.
How did CNN end up aggressively hyping such a spectacularly false story?
They refuse to say.
Many hours after their story got exposed as false, the journalist who originally presented
it, Congressional reporter Manu Raju, finally posted a tweet noting the correction.
CNNs PR Department then claimed that multiple sources had provided CNN with the false
date.
And Raju went on CNN, in muted tones, to note the correction, explicitly claiming that two
sources had each given him the false date on the email, while also making clear that
CNN did not ever even see the email, but only had sources describe its purported contents:
All of this prompts the glaring, obvious, and critical question one which CNN refuses
to address: how did multiple sources all misread the date on this document, in
exactly the same way, and toward the same end, and then feed this false information
to CNN?
It is, of course, completely plausible that one source might innocently misread a date
on a document.
But how is it remotely plausible that multiple sources could all innocently and in good faith
misread the date in exactly the same way, all to cause to be disseminated a blockbuster
revelation about Trump/Russia/WikiLeaks collusion?
This is the critical question that CNN simply refuses to answer.
In other words, CNN refuses to provide the most minimal transparency to enable the public
to understand what happened here.
WHY DOES THIS MATTER SO MUCH?
For so many significant reasons:
To begin with, its hard to overstate how fast, far and wide this false story traveled.
Democratic Party pundits, operatives and journalists with huge social media platforms predictably
jumped on the story immediately, announcing that it proved collusion between Trump and
Russia (through WikiLeaks).
One tweet from Democratic Congressman Ted Lieu, claiming that this proved evidence of
criminal collusion, was re-tweeted thousands and thousands of times in just a few hours
(Lieu quietly deleted the tweet after I noted its falsity, and long after it went very viral,
without ever telling his followers that the CNN story, and therefore his accusation, had
been debunked).
Incredibly, to this very moment almost 24 hours after CNNs story was debunked
Wittes has never noted to his more than 200,000 followers that the story he so excitedly
promoted turned out to be utterly false, even though he returned to Twitter long after the
story was debunked to tweet about other matters.
He just left his false and inflammatory claims uncorrected.
Talking Points Memos Josh Marshall believed the story was so significant that he used
an image of an atomic bomb detonating at the top of his article discussing its implications,
an article he tweeted to his roughly 250,000 followers.
Only at night was an editors note finally added noting that the whole thing was false.
Its hard to quantify exactly how many people were deceived filled with false news and
propaganda by the CNN story.
But thanks to Democratic-loyal journalists and operatives who decree every Trump/Russia
claim to be true without seeing any evidence, its certainly safe to say that many hundreds
of thousands of people, almost certainly millions, were exposed to these false claims.
Surely anyone who has any minimal concerns about journalistic accuracy which would
presumably include all the people who have spent the last year lamenting Fake News, propaganda,
Twitter bots and the like would demand an accounting as to how a major U.S. media
outlet ended up filling so many peoples brains with totally false news.
That alone should prompt demands from CNN for an explanation about what happened here.
No Russian Facebook ad or Twitter bot could possibly have anywhere near the impact as
this CNN story had when it comes to deceiving people with blatantly inaccurate information.
Most embarrassing of all was what MSNBC did.
You just have to watch this report from its intelligence and national security correspondent
Ken Dilanian to believe it.
Like CBS, Dilanian also claimed that he independently confirmed the false CNN report from
two sources with direct knowledge of this. Dilanian, whose career in the U.S. media continues
to flourish the more he is exposed as someone who faithfully parrots what the CIA tells
him to say (since that is one of the most coveted and valued attributes in US journalism),
spent three minutes mixing evidence-free CIA claims as fact with totally false assertions
about what his multiple sources with direct knowledge told him about all this.
Please watch this again, not just the content but the tenor and tone of how they
report as it is Baghdad-Bob-level embarrassing:
Think about what this means.
It means that at least two and possibly more sources, which these media outlets
all assessed as credible in terms of having access to sensitive information, all fed the
same false information to multiple news outlets at the same time.
For multiple reasons, the probability is very high that these sources were Democratic members
of the House Intelligence Committee (or their high-level staff members), which is the committee
that obtained access to Trump Jr.s emails, although its certainly possible that its
someone else.
We wont know until these news outlets deign to report this crucial information to the
public: which multiple sources acted jointly to disseminate incredibly inflammatory,
false information to the nations largest news outlets?

Kim Kardashian Really Thankful for Her Surrogate But Admits It's 'Frustrating' She Can't Carry Baby - Duration: 1:44.Kim Kardashian ''Really Thankful'' for Her Surrogate But Admits It's ''Frustrating'' She Can't Carry Baby No.3 on Her Own
Kim Kardashian is getting real about the surrogacy process. The mother of two opened up about the highs and lows of her journey to baby No.
3 on tonights new Keeping Up With the Kardashians, calling it a different process than her first two pregnancies. I dont even feel like this is real, Kourtney Kardashian said. Same, Kim agreed.
The fact that this is just what we can do these days, Im like really thankful. Like Im seriously so grateful for her and that someone is just so like selfless and kind to do this.
And I definitely want to keep it private. I dont want people to find my surrogate. Like I dont want them to harass her. Like she doesnt know how to handle stuff like that, this isnt her world..
It is frustrating like to not be able to do it on your own, Kim continued. It is a weird dynamic.
Like I go to all the doctors appointments and I try to be really present, but when youre not carrying it yourself it is such a fine balance of how much youre going to be in their lives.
Of course I want to know ever last detail thats going on with my baby and thats super frustrating, but I really trust my surrogate and I dont want to be that person thats trying to control her every move.
Its going to be a long hard process but Im going to take it one day at a time and hopefully it just gets easier..
Also on tonights episode, Kim and Khloe Kardashian get back at mom Kris Jenner by giving her two cakes to the face and Kourtney reveals if she considers Younes Bendjima her boyfriend.

Ayyah! You just need to put a Bhagavad Gita in his hand.
He won't go anywhere, he won't talk to anyone.
Ah! One minute.... Hello?
Shivarama!
Have the Special Greens come?
Bring them home in the evening!
Yeah.. hang up, hang up..
Sir.. Special Greens have come. Do you want some?
If you do, come home. I'll give you a fantastic rate.

The diet that helps fight climate change - Duration: 5:40.I have to admit that when it comes to food, I'm a total sucker.
Whether it's sugar or grease or carbs, pretty much bring it on!
And I spend a lot of time in Montana, so for me, that medium rare, grass fed ribeye steak?
Pretty much as good as it gets.
I know.
I don't do it often and when I do, I gotta admit I feel a little conflicted.
And that's for a lot of reasons, including the planet.
But how big of a problem is what I eat?
I mean, does it really make much of a dent in something as huge as global warming?
It turns out, what we put on our plates matters a lot.
About 25 percent of all the global climate change problems we're seeing can be attributed
back to the food and the choices that we're actually making about what we eat on a daily
basis.
This is greater than all of the cars on the planet.
In fact, it's about twice as much global warming pollution as the cars.
Ben Houlton and Maya Almaraz study the connection between climate and diet at the University
of California, Davis.
They track how the way we produce food creates greenhouse gases that contribute to global
warming.
With their data, the team has crunched the numbers to figure out how much carbon pollution
is produced by different foods and different diets.
A lot of people feel really helpless when it comes to climate change, like they can't
make a difference.
And what our research is showing is that your personal decisions really can have a big impact.
So, take that grass fed ribeye steak I love.
If you really look at everything that went into making a single serving of beef, you
end up emitting about 330 grams of carbon.
That's like driving a car three miles.
Now, if I choose to have chicken instead, there's more than a five-fold drop in emissions.
Switch to fish and you see the number go down even more.
Now, look at veggies.
If I swapped beef out entirely for lentils, well, I'm down to practically nothing!
So, why does beef and lamb, too, for that matter - pack such a powerful punch to the
planet?
Livestock accounts for a little over 14 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions.
If that sort of seems low to you, consider it's about equal to transportation.
We're talking all the cars, trucks, planes, trains and ships on the planet combined!
This is partly because ruminant animals like cows and sheep - they're just gassy!
And the methane they produce is at least 25 times more potent than carbon dioxide.
Plus it takes lot of land, fertilizer and about a billion tons of grain to feed all
that livestock.
And you could feed 3.5 billion people with that grain; if we were just directly eating
these grains ourselves, it would eliminate a lot of the CO2 that is emitted from cattle
production.
So it's clear that meat has a pretty big carbon load, but it's also worth remembering
that not all livestock is raised equally.
In parts of the American West, for instance, ranchers are working to raise livestock in
ways that actually help restore the land.
And they're experimenting with ways that soil and grasslands can be used to keep carbon
pollution out of the air.
But even these sustainable ranchers will really tell you, we're probably eating too much
meat.
I know a lot of people who if you don't serve them meat for lunch or dinner, they're
kind of like "well, when is the meat coming out?"
It's to the point now where the U.S. actually has one of the highest meat footprints per
capita.
So, what about not eating meat at all?
Vegan is the way to go for the least impact on the planet, but it's not that much different,
in terms of emissions, than say, a vegetarian diet.
And the team found that the environmental impact of the Mediterranean diet is pretty
similar to vegan and vegetarian diets.
It's a lot less meat-heavy than what Americans are used to - so, fish and poultry a few times
a week; beef maybe once a month, plenty of plant-based foods, and of course, loads of
olive oil.
Eliminating like 90 percent of your meat intake is more important than eliminating all of
your meat.
We don't all have to be vegan.
We don't all even have to be vegetarian.
If we can just reduce our meat intake, every little bit helps.
And if you can bring it down a lot, you can help the climate a lot.
If we all just switched to a Mediterranean diet, it could actually solve 15 percent of
global warming pollution by 2050.
If everyone were to move towards it, that is equivalent to taking somewhere around a
billion cars off of the streets, in terms of vehicle emissions each year.
So, that kind of a footprint is big-time.
But say you still want more meat than the Mediterranean diet recommends?
Just cutting down your portion size to the doctor-recommended 4 ounces can reduce your
emissions by half.
That's huge!
In fact, the doctors are telling us we're eating about twice as much meat as we really
need for a healthy diet.
The good news is, we are listening to our doctors.
In the last decade, there's been a 19 percent drop in the amount of beef we eat.
All these things that you're already being told are good for you also happen to be good
for the planet.
So what we eat really is a big part of the climate puzzle.
I mean, we may not all be able to afford an electric car or putting solar panels on our
house, but we all have to eat every day.
And these choices we make can add up to really big numbers.
And since meat has a pretty big carbon load, we need to be thoughtful about how much we
eat.
As for that ribeye steak that I really love, I am honestly trying to cut back!
Maybe it's just a smaller piece of steak; or simply swapping out a meat dish for a veggie
burger.
It may seem like a small thing, but it really does add up to big impacts.
Hey, so what did you have for dinner last night?

Women Of Color Surfing As A Powerful Form Of Resistance. - Duration: 3:08.-My presence in the water is so important.
It's showing other women of color that this is not a "white man's playground."
This is our playground. This is everyone's playground.
I was born and raised in the Bronx, and for some reason
— when I was around, like, I think it was 6 or 7 —
this weird obsession with, like, the water and surfing started.
But I think I was just born to be in the sea.
When I moved to California, I was 1) the only person of color and
2) the only female at a lot of the breaks that I would surf at,
which made me really uncomfortable.
And that's when my involvement with Brown Girl Surf started.
-Morning. How are you?
-We are… [Chanting] Brown Girl Surf.
We are… [Chanting] Brown Girl Surf.
-Brown Girl Surf is a community-based social movement
around connecting girls and women of color to the ocean.
Our mission is to create a more diverse, joyful, and
environmentally reverent women's surf culture.
-Then always placing the back foot first. And then putting — like this.
-Surf lessons can sometimes be intimidating,
and so we try to create familiar, welcoming territory.
-There are a lot of emotions that come up, and fear is one thing that comes up a lot.
And a lot of women in their own way work through that fear.
Being a black woman in America today is learning how to
defy odds in almost every single aspect of your life.
The water is a safe space for women of color because the water is honest.
The things that our society has kind of created to hold me back don't exist in the water.
-Definitely not a good time in America to be a woman of color,
and it's a wakeup call to see women organizing, standing up,
and being in solidarity with each other.
I definitely see what Brown Girl Surf does as a really powerful form of resistance.
-The water is our space, too.
Don't fall into the traps of the stereotypes that you hear about black women in the water,
or things that you see, don't let those hold you back.
Get in a wetsuit and get out there.

Why Do Some People Hate Cilantro? - Duration: 2:48.Cilantro is of the most common herbs in the world, but unlike any other, this little leaf
is infamous for it's polarizing love-it-hate-it reaction among foodies.
It's kind of like the Benedict Cumberbatch of taco toppings.
Today we're taking a look at why such a poor, innocent leaf can stoke such vitriol
from the cilantro-phobes among us.
This is Coriandrum sativum, an herb whose leaves we've come to know as cilantro, and
whose seeds are used as spice commonly called coriander.
Its love of warm weather lets it grow all over the world, with the largest exporter
being Mexico.
So it's no wonder you're going to find it in these.
This little plant also comes from the same family of aromatics as celery and parsley.
But unlike parsley, which is probably one of the most inoffensive plants out there,
cilantro bares the burden of being one of the most divisive herb known to humankind.
Lots of people love its aromatic quality, while others are totally repulsed by it.
Every person has a different taste in food, but this cilantroversy is so distinct in the
population that it has led scientists to ask whether there is an actual physical difference
in cilantro haters.
It's been estimated that 4-14% of the population can't stand the taste of cilantro, but here's
where it gets interesting.
Among that group of haters is a subgroup who literally can't help but hate it - they
may have a genetic mutation that makes it so.
These folks describe the taste of cilantro as soapy or dirt-like, terms that have a bit
to do with the kind of smell you get from raw fats, bugs, or cosmetics.
And For the rest of us taco lovers, I know this can seem like a huge disgrace, but I'm
here to tell you today not to blame your cilantro hating friend for their poor taste - these
are matters that might rest far out their hands of control.
These haters may be coping with a small change in their DNA called a single-nucleotide polymorphism
or SNP for short.
Cilantro haters tend to have a different version of a SNP in an area of chromosome 11 directly
related to your sense of smell.
This region contains the genes for several odor detectors, and the culprit is thought
to be OR6A2.
The rodent version of this gene is known to bind to a cilantro-abundant group of molecules
called aldehydes, and common mutations in the gene may change the way OR6A2 detects
certain molecules in the aldehyde group, giving people with these genetic changes an altogether
different cilantro-sperience than the rest of us.
Aldehydes are cilantro's primary odor-causing compounds.
Two compounds in this group, decanal and dodecanal offer an earthy, sweet, green aroma.
But the center of the cilantroversy is found with the (E)-2-Alkenals, which give it that
characteristically "soapy" taste.
That SNP mutation mentioned earlier MAY cause cilantro haters to experience these (E)-2-Alkenals
differently than the rest of us, ultimately making them the dominant flavor of the plant.
But at this point, scientists haven't discovered the exact mechanism behind this soapy phenomenon.
So when people out there say they hate cilantro, now you know that it might not actually be
their fault.
They may be genetically programmed to taste the stuff of soaps!
What side of the cilantroversy are you on?
Let us know in the comments.

Amazing Inventions That Completely Mess With Your Mind - Duration: 4:37.Every day, our lives are positively impacted by world-changing innovations people once
thought were crazy, like airplanes, cell phones, and the internet.
Some crazy inventions, though, take a while to catch on.
You may not have heard of them yet, but here's a look at some amazing inventions that completely
mess with your mind.
"bwaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!"
Vantablack
A special coating made from extremely tiny carbon nanotubes, the ultimate darkness known
as Vantablack paint is so black the inventors claim no instrument exists that is capable
of measuring just how dark it is.
And they continue to innovate even darker versions, which are eventually expected to
absorb all light in the universe, along with hope and probably human souls.
The Dino Sphere
For just under $60 you can have a Dino Sphere, which is powered not by a cord or batteries
but by the tiny sea creatures that live inside it.
Called dinoflagellates, these marine plankton glow using the same process employed by fireflies
and some species of jellyfish.
To make the sphere work, you just pour in the dinoflagellates, expose them to "moderate
lighting" for 8 to 14 hours a day, then shake.
And boom!
You have a living lightbulb.
For about three months, at least.
Ferrofluids
Scientists at NASA were looking for a way to control fluids in space, so they created
the ferrofluid, a liquid medium containing tiny suspended particles of a magnetic solid.
They may resemble the Terminator T-1000, but the metallic fluids actually have a ton of
diverse uses, including improving the performance of loudspeakers and creating seals in hard
drives.
Plus, you know, they just look awesome.
Robot walking tiles
Have you ever wished for an infinite walking surface?
These robot walking tiles use ultrasonic sensors to guess the direction of your next step,
and then they reorient themselves so they're in exactly the place you want to go.
Is it really surprising they're from Japan?
They're a little too slow at the moment to have much practical application yet, but one
day, who knows?
Hydrophobic sand
It's just regular sand that's been covered with a special substance to make it waterproof,
but hydrophobic sand flat out can't get wet, making it terrible for sand castles... and
hilarious for practical jokes.
So what can you actually use it for?
Well, scientists are investigating its uses in farming otherwise arid areas.
You can also buy it from your local pet shop as a handy way to collect your cat's pee for
veterinary samples.
So... that's fun!
Robotic cell phones
Have you ever wanted a robot cell phone that could walk, dance, and make faces?
Then you're going to love Callo and Cally, who are able to do exactly that... for reasons
that are unclear to everyone.
"Yeah!"
If you and a buddy both have robot phones, you can even communicate through them by having
the robots act out your emotional state.
We can't wait to see how they interact with Tinder!
WikiCells edible containers
One of the more innovative attempts to cut down on waste is the invention of the WikiCells
edible container, which is exactly what it sounds like: packaging you can eat.
So after munching down a candy bar, rather than throw away the wrapper, you just eat
that too!
And since it's mainly made from stuff like fruit, nuts, and chocolate, it doesn't taste
too bad, either.
You're welcome, environment!
Starlite
Invented by hairdresser Maurice Ward, Starlite was an incredibly heat-resistant plastic.
In fact, it was so heat resistant that if an egg coated in Starlite was blasted with
a 4500 degree blowtorch, not only would the shell remain intact but the egg inside would
still be completely raw at the end of the test.
And it could withstand a nuclear blast the size of 75 Hiroshimas.
It could have revolutionized the world.
Unfortunately, though, Ward was so protective of his formula that he took the secret of
how to make Starlite with him to his grave, and nobody yet has figured out how to make
the magical plastic again.
Being able to change the world, but choosing not to?
That's truly mad science.
The Gömböc
After over a decade of research, scientists finally managed to create the ultimate Weeble.
"Weebles wobble, but they don't fall down!"
Called The Gomboc, this artificial rock rights itself no matter how you put it down.
So when you place the Gomboc down on any side other than its stable resting position, it
does a little dance of indignation and then rights itself.
Pretty neat, but do we really need rocks that can fight back?
"What have you done?
What have you done?"

Will artificial intelligence become conscious - Duration: 7:51.Will artificial intelligence become conscious
Forget about todays modest incremental advances in artificial intelligence, such
as the increasing abilities of cars to drive themselves.
Waiting in the wings might be a groundbreaking development: a machine that is aware of itself
and its surroundings, and that could take in and process massive amounts of data in
real time.
It could be sent on dangerous missions, into space or combat.
In addition to driving people around, it might be able to cook, clean, do laundry and
even keep humans company when other people arent nearby.
A particularly advanced set of machines could replace humans at literally all jobs.
That would save humanity from workaday drudgery, but it would also shake many societal foundations.
A life of no work and only play may turn out to be a dystopia.
Conscious machines would also raise troubling legal and ethical problems.
Would a conscious machine be a person under law and be liable if its actions hurt
someone, or if something goes wrong?
To think of a more frightening scenario, might these machines rebel against humans and wish
to eliminate us altogether?
If yes, they represent the culmination of evolution.
As a professor of electrical engineering and computer science who works in machine learning
and quantum theory, I can say that researchers are divided on whether these sorts of hyperaware
machines will ever exist.
Theres also debate about whether machines could or should be called conscious
in the way we think of humans, and even some animals, as conscious.
Some of the questions have to do with technology; others have to do with what consciousness
actually is.
Is awareness enough?
Most computer scientists think that consciousness is a characteristic that will emerge as technology
develops.
Some believe that consciousness involves accepting new information, storing and retrieving old
information and cognitive processing of it all into perceptions and actions.
If thats right, then one day machines will indeed be the ultimate consciousness.
Theyll be able to gather more information than a human, store more than many libraries,
access vast databases in milliseconds and compute all of it into decisions more complex,
and yet more logical, than any person ever could.
On the other hand, there are physicists and philosophers who say theres something more
about human behavior that cannot be computed by a machine.
Creativity, for example, and the sense of freedom people possess dont appear to come
from logic or calculations.
Yet these are not the only views of what consciousness is, or whether machines could ever achieve
it.
Quantum views
Another viewpoint on consciousness comes from quantum theory, which is the deepest theory
of physics.
According to the orthodox Copenhagen Interpretation, consciousness and the physical world are complementary
aspects of the same reality.
When a person observes, or experiments on, some aspect of the physical world, that persons
conscious interaction causes discernible change.
Since it takes consciousness as a given and no attempt is made to derive it from physics,
the Copenhagen Interpretation may be called the big-C view of consciousness, where
it is a thing that exists by itself although it requires brains to become real.
This view was popular with the pioneers of quantum theory such as Niels Bohr, Werner
Heisenberg and Erwin Schrdinger.
The interaction between consciousness and matter leads to paradoxes that remain unresolved
after 80 years of debate.
A well-known example of this is the paradox of Schrdingers cat, in which a cat is
placed in a situation that results in it being equally likely to survive or die and the
act of observation itself is what makes the outcome certain.
The opposing view is that consciousness emerges from biology, just as biology itself emerges
from chemistry which, in turn, emerges from physics.
We call this less expansive concept of consciousness little-C. It agrees with the neuroscientists
view that the processes of the mind are identical to states and processes of the brain.
It also agrees with a more recent interpretation of quantum theory motivated by an attempt
to rid it of paradoxes, the Many Worlds Interpretation, in which observers are a part of the mathematics
of physics.
Philosophers of science believe that these modern quantum physics views of consciousness
have parallels in ancient philosophy.
Big-C is like the theory of mind in Vedanta in which consciousness is the fundamental
basis of reality, on par with the physical universe.
Little-C, in contrast, is quite similar to Buddhism.
Although the Buddha chose not to address the question of the nature of consciousness, his
followers declared that mind and consciousness arise out of emptiness or nothingness.
Big-C and scientific discovery
Scientists are also exploring whether consciousness is always a computational process.
Some scholars have argued that the creative moment is not at the end of a deliberate computation.
For instance, dreams or visions are supposed to have inspired Elias Howes 1845 design
of the modern sewing machine, and August Kekuls discovery of the structure of benzene in 1862.
A dramatic piece of evidence in favor of big-C consciousness existing all on its own is the
life of self-taught Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan, who died in 1920 at the age of
32.
His notebook, which was lost and forgotten for about 50 years and published only in 1988,
contains several thousand formulas, without proof in different areas of mathematics, that
were well ahead of their time.
Furthermore, the methods by which he found the formulas remain elusive.
He himself claimed that they were revealed to him by a goddess while he was asleep.
The concept of big-C consciousness raises the questions of how it is related to matter,
and how matter and mind mutually influence each other.
Consciousness alone cannot make physical changes to the world, but perhaps it can change the
probabilities in the evolution of quantum processes.
The act of observation can freeze and even influence atoms movements, as Cornell physicists
proved in 2015.
This may very well be an explanation of how matter and mind interact.
Mind and self-organizing systems
It is possible that the phenomenon of consciousness requires a self-organizing system, like the
brains physical structure.
If so, then current machines will come up short.
Scholars dont know if adaptive self-organizing machines can be designed to be as sophisticated
as the human brain; we lack a mathematical theory of computation for systems like that.
Perhaps its true that only biological machines can be sufficiently creative and flexible.
But then that suggests people should or soon will start working on engineering
new biological structures that are, or could become, conscious.

How to Find a Campground (and giveaway winners!) - Duration: 14:40.you shouldn't stand on these rocks they're like extremely slippery all this
stuff is like some type of algae but anyway it's about 7:00 in the morning or
so I'm out on the ocean right now it's a beautiful day just got some exercise in
today I'm going to be looking for a RV park so I'm probably going to Florida so
I'm be looking in that area I'm gonna explain the whole process I go through
to stay tuned
all right before we start looking into campgrounds and where I'm gonna go next
I'm gonna go eat some donuts for the last time this is gonna be my last
Sunday doughnut to this campground it's sad to leave all the cool people that
I've met here but we got stuff to do we got places to be and I'm trying to make
it to Virginia to meet up with my brother by like May so I gotta get
moving I'm actually getting pretty good at this
whole skating and vlogging thing not too bad
alright those are some awesome donuts and coffee I do love donuts as you probably
already know but now I want to talk about how I choose my camp groundling
the process that I go through to pick a campground to find a campground I pretty
much got it down to a science at this point it doesn't take me very long it's
really quite simple so here it is ok so the first thing I do is I go to google
for this example I'm going to Florida next I'm thinking about going somewhere
near Pensacola so I'm gonna be looking in that Pensacola area so I'm at Google
right now and I'm going to search campgrounds in Florida with Wi-Fi I
always use all stays to look for campgrounds that's like the number one
thing I use when I'm looking for campgrounds the only reason I type that
into Google is cuz I just find it easier than searching around the all stays
website and like clicking all the different things to get to where I want
to go if I google that then the first link will say campgrounds in Florida
with Wi-Fi click on that and boom right there
you're already here it shows you all of the campgrounds in Florida with Wi-Fi
now I say with Wi-Fi because that is an extreme stipulation for me I need the
campground that I'm at to have Wi-Fi that might not be the case for you you
might want to search for something else if you're looking for pet friendly or a
pool or fishing or casinos or whatever it is that you want to look for you can
just type it that in I personally the main thing that I care about is Wi-Fi so
that's what I always search after that I scroll over here to the Pensacola area
and I find all the camp grounds surrounding Pensacola with Wi-Fi they're
all listed here and when I click on each one they show me the dollar signs and
the more dollar signs the more expensive how many sites they have when they're
open if their RVs only or if they also have tent camping and things along those
lines and then all ages in certain places I've been
they have senior campgrounds that are only 50
plus I believe I believe that's the age and I'm not 55 so I can't go there it's
stupid it doesn't really make much sense to me from a business standpoint but I
get it if they want to have a retirement community and you know now that I'm
staying at places for a month at a time rather than daily or weekly the rates
are substantially lower for a month substantially so I don't have to worry
about the dollar signs too much because a lot of times something that may cost
fifty dollars a night and something that costs $20 night will have the same
monthly rates so you really have to dig in and go to the websites and find out
the rates and kind of disregard the dollar signs if you're gonna do monthly
stays the dollar signs are pretty accurate if you're doing daily or weekly
especially daily I believe the dollar signs are supposed to mean one dollar sign
being up to ten dollars two dollars signs being up to twenty dollars three
dollar signs 30, 4 40, 5 50, 6 60 per night all right so we're gonna click on one of
these this is avalon landing campground its east of pensacola it looks like it's
in a pretty good location scroll down here and you can see the reviews it's
got four stars on all stays which is a pretty accurate description you really
have to look at the number of reviews though and you can read the reviews here
on the right side this will show you a lot it will show you what amenities they
have and things of that nature but to really get a good idea you have to go to
the website so you click that website button right there and then it will pull
up their website alright so once you get to the website it's not fully loaded yet
but you're gonna go ahead and click rates that's the most important thing
that's what we're looking for first we want to see what the cost is prior to
even considering the place and there we go it lit up so waterfront it looks like
it's forty-five dollars per night if you're gonna stay on a nightly basis I
would looks like off water is about what I would do and then weekly rates off
water would be two hundred and thirty-four dollars so a small savings
from the daily rate 234 dollars for a week or
for a monthly rate and it is currently the winter months October through
February the off water rate is four hundred thirty five and four hundred
sixty five dollars off water and that does not include electric it's important
to note that it doesn't include electric because of that there will be a one
hundred dollar electric deposit required alright so that is four hundred and
thirty five dollars per month so I am going to go ahead and open up a notepad
this is avalon landing RV park which is east of pensacola and it is $435 per
month plus one hundred electric deposit so i just go ahead and i write that down
i just want to make sure that i keep him keeping track of everything so I can
compare campgrounds against each other whenever I'm uh
oh hello Amelia whenever I am looking for a campground I always want to get the
best price I'm not super concerned about where I'm going to be exactly if I can
get within biking distance of a lot of cool places that is like always my
number one thing is when I'm looking for an RV park and I'm looking at the
monthly rates I don't want to spend more than six hundred fifty bucks in a month
like that seems that's like at the high end I don't want to I would prefer to
spend under $500 I'm almost always looking for a campground that is under
$500 per month so what I usually do after that is I lay out all the
campgrounds on that spreadsheet that are within my price range and after that I
look at them all and I figure out which one is closest to the things that I want
to do in the area so I want to go to Pensacola I want to go to the beach I
want to be able to go to a restaurant on the Alabama Florida line I think it's
called Florabama or something like that or I'm not exactly sure but I want to do
I want to do certain things and I kind of take all
the things that I want to do into account I map them all out and I choose
the campground that's closest to all the things I want to do unless one
campground just has far better reviews if a campground is just spectacular if
it's if they do things like this campground does where they offer you
free donuts on Sunday free donuts and coffee and on Saturday they're doing
events and everybody gets together and there's a kind of a sense of community I
really like that so if one of them had that I'd weigh that against the other
one and I just kind of wait like that I look at everything that they have and
then I just kind of choose and you know the big thing is once you do choose you
might choose the wrong one you might call them up and they might say nope
we're booked sorry you can't do anything about it and that's happened to me many
many many times I thought I had the perfect Park I call them and like what
are you doing call it one day before you want to come and I'm like I'm really bad
at preparing and yeah so that's basically what happens so the bottom
line is I list them all the campgrounds that I can afford an area that I want to
go I list them in order of which one I want to go to most and I just kind of
called down the list and as soon as once says they have a spot available for the
30 days that I want to stay that's what I do I stay at that campground for the
30 days and that's it and the last thing I do is I usually go over to Google Maps
and I just go and I scout the area and then it loads in 47 years I'm gonna keep
looking around just because I'm not for sure that I want to go to Pensacola I'm
just that's my thought right now I still have a couple of days to do this but I
just wanted to go over with you guys how I do this how I go about finding
campgrounds and just my process and kind of my thought process but now I've
pretty much got it down to a science I just used all states for if I'm looking
at campgrounds and I tried a book before I leave even though I almost never book
before I leave you should book before you leave it makes for a much less
stressful trip James and brandy invited me to go out with them and check out the
town so I'm gonna go do that I'm gonna book this stuff tomorrow
like I said and yeah so let's just go out and check out Galveston one last
time probably before we have to leave
that's their bus but it doesn't look like they made it home yet
I just found these cool cars in the parking lot of this restaurant that
we're gonna eat at so stand by for cool car b-roll
remember James and brandy they took me out to this cool boardwalk so the
getting some footage of some boats and stuff like that so it should be fun
all right so I had an awesome time tonight thank you so much to brandy and
James for taking me out one last time thanks so much guys

So I want to get her a present
but I haven't put on any makeup
and only my hair is done.
We're going to be on "M Countdown" today
so we don't have that much time. I have to go quickly,
but the stores haven't opened yet.
[#Awesome #Rapper #Talkative]
So after I get my makeup done,
I should hurry out.

Yes!
I'm going to get some wrapping paper

[#Proud #Dimples!]
Hoo hoo hoo.
I boughter her a barbie doll.
I'm going to pick some wrapping paper out.
[#Baby Lion's_shout] Hoo!
Huh? I said I'd buy her a gift...
[#Excited] Hello.
[Chaeyoung is excited!] Woo woo woo.
There's so much wrapping paper.
Which one should I get?
Heart.
So cute.
Which one should I get?
[Fast forward] [Chaeyoung's time to think]
Pink.
- Thank you. - Goodbye.
I got it.
Oh yeah~
I need to hurry and open it.
I can do it.
[Chaeyoung is excited thinking about giving her the birthday present]
Wow~
So cute!
I'll be able to wrap this, right?
I picked out pink.
Heart. Isn't it cute?
It's been so long since I've wrapped gifts.
How do you wrap this again?
I can do it.
About this much.
I even bought scissors and tape.
What if the other members get jealous?
Because I didn't get them this for their birthdays.
This is so pretty.
I'm at the JYP building right now...
[Chaeyoung is so focused she can't speak]
Is this right?
I've wrapped a present so long...
[Correction] I mean, it's been so long.
I should have cut it longer. No wait, it's perfect.
The wrapping doesn't matter.
Then what matters?
The present matters.
What's inside.
What do I do next?
[#Baby_lion's_anger #Huge scissors] Why did I get such a small one!
[You're the one who bought it]
The one I got was too small.
It won't work.
I'm running late.
[#Astonished] What's this?
[Cuts it out and pushes it along] THis is...
[#Sniffs]
This is how it's done.
[#So excited] Wow!
[Fast forward] [Chaeyoung's (careful) wrapping time]
What's wrong? Why can't I do this right?
I should cut some more here.
I should fold it and then cut it.
[#Predicts] - It's OK. Momo will rip it open anyway. - Right?
[#Momo #Imitates] She'll be like, "Hee~ What's this"?
You have to be careful!
[O.N.C.E, you are watching the baby lion wrap and shouting]
[Fast forward]
Why won't it work?
Is it supposed to be this hard?
[feat. bluffing] No, it's supposed to be easy.
[#Oops the wind closed the door]
Just a little more!
When you're feeling down,
[PR] [(Don't Give Up) - Lyrics by Chaeyoung] please listen to our song.
When things aren't going your way,

Top 10 Most Deadly Battles in History! - Duration: 11:29.throughout human history wars have been consistently fought in one place or
another first centuries in that time some battles have had astronomical
numbers of people killed wounded or missing stay tuned to number one to find
out which is considered the deadliest battle in history based on the sheer
number of casualties alone
number 10 the Battle of Shanghai 400,000 set during the second sino-japanese war
the Battle of Shanghai was fought between the republic of china and the
empire of japan as the japanese attempted to capture shanghai it started
on August 13th 1937 and ended on November 26th during that time about 1
million people fought in the battle and it is believed that the Republic of
China suffered 250,000 casualties while the Japanese suffered just over a
hundred and fifty thousand casualties however the exact numbers for both sides
are quite hazy number nine the Battle of Manila half a million fought during the
Second World War the Battle of Manila was a major battle
fought between the United States and their allies the commonwealth of
philippines against the empire of japan and their allies this second Philippine
Republic yes that's right two factions from the Philippines were fighting
against each other it started on the 3rd of February and
ended on the 3rd of March of 1945 and during that time collectively both sides
suffered around 500,000 casualties while the exact numbers vary many more
civilians were killed then military personnel in all it's estimated that
between 100 and 240,000 Filipino civilians were killed number 8 the
Battle of Wuhan five hundred and forty thousand as only one of two battles on
this list that didn't happen during the 1st or 2nd World War the Battle of Wuhan
was fought during the second sino-japanese war in 1938 this was a
battle between the Empire of Japan and the Republic of China and their allies
the Soviet volunteer group it started on June 11th 1938 and ended on October 27th
during this time over a million people fun in the battle and collectively
casualties are numbered around 540 thousand the outcome of this battle
resulted in the capture of Wuhan by Japanese forces although the Japanese
won the confrontation the number of casualties suffered by the
these forces were surprisingly considered an improvement on previous
battles such as the Battle of Shanghai number seven Battle of Kiev eight
hundred and twenty nine thousand fought between the Soviet Union and Germany the
Battle of Kiev was named the first battle of Kiev by the Germans and the
Kiev strategic defense operation by the Soviet Union the dates of the battle
differ depending on which perspective you take both the Soviets and the
Germans consider the end date as the 26th of September but the Germans
consider the start date as the 7th of August while the Soviet Union considers
it to be the seventh of July this battle was a monumental defeat for the Soviet
Union's Red Army and involved the encirclement and trapping of 452
thousand soldiers of which shockingly only about 15,000 managed to escape
overall the Soviet Union suffered more than 700,000 casualties while the
Germans only suffered around 128 thousand with the defeat of the Red Army
the Germans were successful in capturing Kiev number 6 Battle of Normandy 795
thousand four hundred codenamed Operation Overlord the Battle of
Normandy was fought during the Second World War between Western Allies and
Germany the Western Allies included the United States the United Kingdom Canada
the French Resistance New Zealand Australia and even added in the free
resistance forces of Poland Belgium Czechoslovakia Greece Luxembourg Norway
and the Netherlands the battle started on June 6th and ended on August 30th
1944 and involved collectively over 3 million troops the Germans suffered many
more casualties in the allied forces with up to five hundred and thirty
thousand casualties but it wasn't just military personnel who suffered between
twenty-five thousand and thirty nine thousand civilians died in the pre
invasion bombings and during the invasion
thanks to this battle it was characterized as a major turning point
in the war and as such the beaches of Normandy will always be remembered for
this bloody battle with plaques memorials and
small museums dotting the landscape number 5 battle of verdun 976 thousand
fought during the First World War between the German Empire and the French
Republic it started on February 21st of 1916 and
ended eight months later on December 18th during the course of this bloody
nine-month battle both sides suffered collectively just under a million
casualties Germany suffered between 336 thousand and four hundred and thirty
four thousand total casualties with about a hundred and forty three thousand
being killed and France suffered between 315 and 542 thousand casualties of which
around one hundred and sixty-two thousand were killed it wasn't just
human life that was affected though due to the fact that the battle took place
in such a small area the local environment and land was devastated
this didn't do much for morale as the soldiers had to fight in a horrible wet
wasteland of mud filled with human remains definitely not something you'd
want to do for months on end it's not surprising then that son tried to desert
while other soldiers broke down completely
number four Battle of Moscow one-million found over three months during the
Second World War the Battle of Moscow was another bloody battle fought between
the German and Soviet Union armies it started on October 2nd 1941 and ended on
January 7th 1942 this battle involved upwards of 2.5 million men over 4000
tanks 20,000 guns and just fewer than 2,000 aircraft the Soviet Union fought
to maintain their hold over Moscow while the German army was sweeping eastward in
hopes of taking the city there has been much debate about the casualties
suffered by both sides and not all historians agree on what should be
included in the Battle of Moscow as with many of the battles and campaigns during
the world wars the name of one battle might actually encompass numerous
smaller battles because they clearly don't want to make it easy for us to
understand taking in the various sources though the rough estimates for
casualties is between one hundred and seventy four thousand and four hundred
for the Germans and the Soviet Union suffered between 650,000 and 1 million
casualties number 3 Battle of the Somme another battle fought during the First
World War the Battle of Somme was fought in northern France and involved more
than 3 million men making it the largest battle fought on the Western Front
during that war it started on July 1st 1916 and lasted 5 grisly months before
ending on November 18th in that short time though over a million people were
injured or killed by the end of the battle the British had four hundred and
twenty thousand casualties and the French lost two hundred thousand the
Germans about five hundred thousand with about 1.3 million casualties the Battle
of the Somme has gone down in history as one of the bloodiest battles in history
and rightly so 1.3 million is a lot of people to be
injured or killed in a single battle to put it into perspective that's about the
same as the population of Dallas Texas although the whole battle was
devastating to both sides for the British the first day of the Battle of
the Somme was devastating with the loss of nearly 60,000 people in a single day
number two Battle of Berlin 1.3 million fought at the end of the Second World
War the Battle of Berlin found Germany fighting against the Soviet Union in
Poland and included over 3 million soldiers it was one of the most
important battles of World War two and brought about the end of the war the
Soviet armies having made it to Berlin before the Western Allies surrounded the
city and over the course of 16 days managed to take the entire city bringing
an end to Hitler's Third Reich dream seeing that the end was near
Hitler married his long-term mistress and they along with a few other
followers killed themselves in their bunker when the Soviets were only about
1,600 feet away the success of this battle is reflected in the casualty
numbers while the Soviet Union and Poland suffered fewer than 400,000
casualties Germany suffered about 700 thousand casualties with about 22,000
military personnel and 22 civilians dying within the Berlin
defense area don't forget to check out our video on urban legends though where
Hitler suicide is certainly brought into question number one battle of stalingrad
1.8 million fought during the Second World War the Battle of Stalingrad was
between the Soviet Union against Germany and its allies Romania Italy Hungary and
Croatia it started in August 1942 and ended five months later in February 1943
and in that time just fewer than two million people were killed making it the
deadliest battle in human history surpassed only in casualties by the
siege of leningrad the soviet union suffered the worst though with over 1.1
million casualties while Germany Italy Hungary and Croatia combined suffered
728 thousand casualties it's not surprising so many people were killed or
injured though when you think about the amount of firepower used in that single
battle over 20,000 artillery pieces and more than 1,000 tanks just under 2,000
aircraft were all used in the Battle of Stalingrad regardless of the Soviet
Union's casualties though they were unbelievably successful in their
endeavor and the battle resulted in the destruction of the German 6th army and
the expulsion of the Germans from the Caucasus it is thought by some to be the
biggest defeat in the history of the German army it is also often referred to
as the turning point in the war on the Eastern Front at the time the Nazi
government did not inform the German people of the coming disaster and when
they finally did announce their loss it marked the first time they publicly
stated their war was failing the fact that nearly all the battles took place
during the first and second world wars highlights the significant development
that fighting underwent in the early 20th century what do you know about the
Battle of Stalingrad and other battles we've covered tell us in the comments
below and don't forget to like this video be sure to subscribe and take care
