Vlog #11 - Barcelona: Places (not so common) to Visit | Getting Lost in Gothic District - Duration: 12:07.

When people talks about Barcelona

We think in architect Gaudi, the Olympic Games or the pupular Rambla Avenue

Barcelona is the most visited city in Spain and the twelveth more visited city in the world

Totally worth it when are in places such as this

Yes this is the popular Sagrada Familia

I have come very early in the morning

It is around... 8:20 in the morning

And there's no much people here around yet

But this place is always busy

and it is logic as it is one of the most famous places in the world

It is no lie that everytime I came here

I love to stay at least 10 minutes staring at it

And everytime you do that, you can always discover new details and things that catch your eye

But I did not come to teach you about Sagrada Familia actually

I can be talking a lot about Sagrada Familia as it is one of my favourite monument in the world

But today I have come to show you another spots from Barcelona

When people come to Barcelona, they usually know they are going to visit Sagrada Familia

Or Güell Park for example

Such places are the ones that you know for sure you have to visit

I have come to show you other spots

Spots that we loved to discover when we came here to live

Spots that are not that common and they are so cool

So come on and join me. Let's get going!

In this avenue, which is called "Rambla de Catalunya" I think

a curious quote is that the Spanish popular horror film "REC" have been shooted in a building here

I won't show you that building today

Because time is running short for all the places I want it to share with you guys

Furthermore that building is closed

You can see the entance and it i so scary as you can see that it is abandoned for years and years

And as far as I know it is only used for shooting movies and things like that

It will make one's hair stand on end

We are located now in famous Gracia Street

I did not came here on purpose

As this is a famous spot that probably most of you already know

And it is so common to come here

But I have to come by to get to another place so once we are here why not shoot a little bit

Here you can find the more luxury and fancy stores of the city and probably Spain too

At my back you can see "Batllo's House"

If you ever come to visit Barcelona while they are celebrating Sant Jordi

Batllo's House is completely full of red roses and it so precious to see

Now that I have mentioned Sant Jordi

One thing that maybe not everybody knows about Barcelona

Is that in Barcelona we have almost 1,000 different dragons

All of them have been census by Andorran Photographer Josep Martinez

It is so fucking cool because most of the cities has their typical animal

And it is great to say that our typical animal is the dragon

It is like, Whaaaaat?

People that know me in real life

They get very surprised of what I am about to say

People always think that I am so outgoing and easy going

That I don't get ashamed easily

But actually that is not true

And I feel real panic everytime I have to do what I am doing know

Talking alone by the street to a camara

People may look and think "What the hell he's doing?"

"He is crazy"

In fact I have only a few videos which are recorded out door

Only a few actually

The one that I recorded in Valparadis

Which I rounded like a thousand times before recording

In fact I was about to leave without recording

I was telling to myself "I cannot do this, it is so embarrasing"

But at the end

I was just in front of the underground entrance preparing to leave

I stopped and said "Come on now that you are here, at least record something. One minute at least. Anything"

So...

Well, like I am doing now

That I decided to come very early in the morning so there's no much people on the streets

A curious quote here in the Gothic Quarter

You can see the gargoyes standing up there everywhere

And the scary faces

The scary faces from the Gothic Quarter

I have not verified this information yet

but it is said that

When you see one of this gargoyles or faces and they are looking to the same direction

But then you find one of them that are looking to the opposite

In the ancient times that meant that in that direction was a house that were a brothel

Oh my the "Coffee Club"

"Please tell me what I have to do to join"

There is one thing that I suggest everyone to do it

It is a thing that my boyfriend and I have done a lot of times

It is getting lost in the Gothic Quarter

You sure have to do it if you ever come to Barcelona

Without tourist guides nor maps

Just yourselves

Just walking by, getting lost in the little streets that are so labyrinthic,

and just discover where the road leads you

Probably you will find a ot of cool places

And I would suggest you, to take note of that places

or at least remember the name of the store

the name of the place, or whatever

because another thing that happened to us so frequently

Is that we use to came here

find a super cool place

"Oh look at this place it is so fucking cool"

but then when we tried to get there the next time

We were not able to find anything

Now I have to walk in front of the Town Hall and Cataloniá Parlament

And it was not planned

In fact those are places I wanted to avoid

Because you all know the political situation here

I won't talk much about it

I prefer talking cool stuff about Barcelona, instead of ... well...

It can't be helped

Mum if you are watching this don't worry everything is fine

I have to confess that I have not recorded the moment because I thought that was so inapropiated

To record in such kind of moments...

But when I exit from the undergorund in Sagrada Familia

People started to scream so loud

People screaming near me

Just at the exit of the underground

And honestly I get so scared

So scared

Because just two months ago happened here a terrorist attack

At the endit was a girl that got hit by a car crossing the street while she had the red sign

It is so obvious for me I did not think in recording anything

I just tried to help in what I could

Here in Barcelona we can change the scenario so easily

And change from one Architectonic style to another

These are the columns of Roman August Temple

Those were built in century I b.C as far as I remember

Such a witness of the changes of the eras in the City

People found this while they were constructing a coutyard for a house, can you believe it?

You are fucked because no more courtyard for you

I am seriously thining about changing the name of the video

for something more like

Getting lost in the Gothic Quarter

| Could I ever get out of here?

| What is happening?

| You stop doing this

*Complain* I came here looking for a certain street

I have not come for getting lost

This is the Santa Maria del Pis Cathedral

It is entrance free

So pretty

It has some stained glass window that reminds me of Zelda Wind Waker

But for me everything in life reminds me to Wind Waker

I think it is this street...

I will look in Google Maps because I am so fucking tired *I said "cujons" which is a catalan expression

I wanted to come to this Street

We are in Petritxol Street

If you ever get tired of walking around the gothic

You can always come here to eat some traditional chocolates

It smells so good

Smells like chocolate

I am starving

Well, as we have recorded a lot of material and I don't want this to be so long

I don't want you to get so bored

We are goint to leave here by the moment

The video will be splitted in several parts

I will submit the next video next week

As always I hope you like it

I really have a lot of fun working on this

I think that is my favourite video in the channel this far

I honestly hope you all enjoied it

That you guys found something new or interesting

So give it a like if you like it so I will know that you want more videos like this

So I can bring more to the channel

Any comments or feedback you know it is appreciated

Use the comment box down here

Have a great weekend you all

See ya all next week

C'ya!

Strange Beam Of Light Appears In Argentine : Explained - Duration: 2:17.

Hi, I'm Heathcliff and this is Lions Ground.

I hope you have a fantastic day.

On October 24, many witnessed a storm in a place in Argentina.

A female witness made a picture in which you can see vertical beam seems to come out of

the clouds.

This reported Realidad Regional.

The woman who was letting the dog out made this photo the moment the lightning struck

the newspaper said.

"I think it's real, I saw similar photo artifacts created by "Rolling Shutter," says UFO of

Interest when I asked for his opinion.

He referred to a Facebook post from ABC7 with the same phenomenon.

Under that post, a Facebook user shared a link from the debunking forum community "Metabunk"

by Mick West.

Mr. West confirmed UFO of Interest words.

In a debunk, Mr. West clearly shows that this phenomenon is caused by rolling shutter combined

with lightning.

"Rolling shutter is a method of image capture in which a still picture (in a still camera)

or each frame of a video (in a video camera) is captured not by taking a snapshot of the

entire scene at single instant in time but rather by scanning across the scene rapidly,

either vertically or horizontally" In a video, Mister West demonstrates that

it can be produced with a simple strobe and an iPhone.

So, this phenomenon is not so mysterious but a digital explanation.

I add a link to the sources in the video description to read the full study.

The Funniest Mistakes in English - Duration: 8:04.

Hi! My name is Jason and I'm an English teacher from Toronto, Canada. Today we're

going to talk about some of the funniest mistakes I've seen in English. So, quite

often in my travels around Ukraine and Eastern Europe I've seen a lot of

interesting English mistakes on signs, menus and with some of my students as

well. So, the fortunate thing that if you are a Russian or Ukrainian speaker or a

speaker of any Eastern European language, quite often there's not that many

mistakes that you can make in English that would maybe look funny or stupid. So,

usually when you make mistakes in English, most people will understand you

and it won't be a problem for you. So, I always encourage students to make

mistakes but there are some occasions where some funny mistakes do happen and

I'll go through a few of them with you today. The most common mistake I see and,

perhaps, one of the funniest for native speakers is the expression "feel myself".

In English when we feel something we can do this with objects, different things,

but if it's about our personal feelings: our mood, our emotions, - we never say

"ourself" we always say something like "I feel good, I feel sad I feel happy". But if you

say I "feel myself" this means that you sexually touch yourself. So, this can be

very funny for native speakers. And on occasion I've had to teach many students

who may have used this in the wrong way. I had a student once who felt that he

was following the rules, and he got in trouble for something I don't remember

what. But he told me that he felt himself according to the rules. So, of course this

could be very funny for a native speaker. The next one I

remember is about the phrasal verb "to lay off". Now, "to lay off" is a phrasal verb

that's very important to remember and I'll tell you why.

But first I'll tell you the story. I had a fellow English teacher who was

teaching a class. And one day one of his students came into the class really sad

and depressed, and my friend asked the student, 'How are you doing today? You

don't look so happy'. The student responded by saying, 'I got laid'. And my

friend looked at him again and he said, 'Really? Why are you so depressed?' And he

said more angrily, 'I got laid'. And my friend says, 'Well, that should make you

feel so depressed...' And he finally said, "I lost my job, and I don't know what I'm

going to do'. So, my friend realized that he got laid off. So, to get laid off means

to lose your job because there's not enough work. So, a very common expression.

"To get laid", however, means to have sex. So, it was very funny that he was so

depressed about this situation. But I encourage people to remember "to be laid

off" simply because of the fact that this is a synonym of to be fired, but to be

fired means that you're a bad employee. So, never use fired when you tell people

that you lost your job, unless you actually were a bad employee. Remember to

say to that 'I was laid off'. The next one I have is a little bit of a warning. When

it comes to swearing in English or using bad expressions, they may not be so good

to use, if you don't know exactly what you're doing. I had a friend once, she was

visiting the McDonald's and spending time with her friends. Afterwards she was

approached by some random drunk stranger who wanted some money.

I guess he was hungry or something like this. My friends refused to give him

money, and he turned around, and he slapped his ass and he said to them, 'Fuck

my ass'. And now this is not a good expression to use in English in any case.

And what he meant to say was 'kiss my ass'. So, 'kiss my ass' means that you are angry

with someone and you don't care what they say. "Fuck my ass", however, is a

homosexual expression that could really maybe make him feel very embarrassed if

he really knew what he said. The next one I have is about a misinterpretation

between the words staff and stuff, quite often these sound like they're

pronounced the same, but they have very different meanings. Staff with an A and

stuff with the U. So, stuff is about random things, stuff you have. Staff is a

long stick object that you use for walking. So, usually a staff might be used

by a wizard in Lord of the Rings or something like that. I visited an

aquapark one time, where I saw a sign that said, 'Please watch your staff'. Of

course, the sign meant 'stuff' that you should watch, the things that you own,

because 'staff' again is a long walking stick that belongs to a wizard.

So, unless many wizards use the aquapark, I highly doubt that this is what they

really meant to say. Okay, another place where I see a lot of English mistakes is

when it comes to signs and menus in different restaurants, when I travel

abroad. There is a very popular dish in Ukraine and Russia that is called

'challahdiets' in their language, but has a very bad translation in English. In

fact the correct translation in English for this dish would be something like

"meat gelatin" or "jellied meat", really would be the best thing you could

say. There was addition one restaurant I saw that was made of chicken, however. So,

they described this as jellied cock. And the problem is in English we do use the

word cock but it's more in Old English to talk about chicken. Nowadays it means

a part of a male anatomy. So, this could be very painful if you think about this

too much. So, this was a funny mistake in one menu I saw. Another menu I found with

a very funny mistake was a menu that had a dish that was simply a pot that had

some kind of food inside, I'm not sure if it was rice or a meat, or whatever it was.

On the menu they described it as pot. Now, here if you take away the article "a", it

becomes uncountable. So, countable 'a pot" refers to a dish you

cook food in. Uncountable "pot" the refers to marijuana.

So, when you see pot on a menu it looks quite interesting, and in fact the

English description underneath was 'A tasty little miracle' which made this

even funnier. So, as you can see there are a lot of ways that funny mistakes do

happen in English when translating, but generally these are pretty rare. So, you

can feel confident when you're speaking that you probably won't make any of

these funny mistakes. But if you do, we understand and everyone's happy that

you are improving and learning English. And that's it for me for today. Please,

don't forget to subscribe to the link below, and I will see you next time.

The Future of The Hopi People - Duration: 6:05.

What's up awesome people of the internet!

I know it has been a while since I have consistently uploaded videos to my channel, but about almost

a month ago I was having issues with my editing software, and last week I was on fall break.

But don't worry, because now I think I that I finally have enough ideas for videos!

So I had the whole last week off work, one of the advantages of working for a school!

What did I do?

I traveled back home to my reservation and I went to another school.

My former high school.

I know it sounds crazy that I would go to another school when I was told not to work

at my school for a whole week.

But if you didn't know, last year I attended the Hopi Education Summit which was hosted

at the Hopi High School campus.

While I was there I was very excited and started tossing around ideas with some of my former

teachers and school administrators.

What I wanted to do was to find a way to engage with students back home.

Something like a collaboration project or doing classroom presentations to show them

what can be accessed and how they can have their own voices heard through social media.

How they can bring their own creative ideas to online platforms.

Now I know that if you were to look at my subscriber count, you wouldn't necessarily

call me a "successful" YouTuber. But it is because of my YouTube channel that I have

been invited to speak on panels at various educational gatherings and one of those being

VidCon.

Other creators with much larger audiences have expressed their interest in my content

and have thanked me for sharing my own experiences.

One of them even flew me out to L.A. to film a collaboration.

If any of you from the reservation are watching right now, I showed up at your high school

because I want to be able to show you, that whatever you wish to share with the world

is possible and it can be achieved through these platforms.

You can use them in more ways than just spreading drama.

You can be heard and you can find an audience that will appreciate you.

In my last video I mentioned and addressed our current elections for Tribal Chairman.

And when I was home all I could hear the candidates speak of was change for our future. Those of

us who are younger, we are that future and I believe that our voices should be the loudest

heard on subjects that matter to the future of our tribe and our villages.

When I met with the superintendent he actually already knew who I was before I met him in

his office.

He had told me he came across my video where I talked about the student walk out on Hopi

and my thoughts on the matter.

A lot of teachers and administrators seemed very eager to start networking with me.

And I knew that I had to meet with people face to face just to show how serious I am

about pursuing this.

Us natives, we usually tell one another that we mostly do a lot of talking.

We talk about ideas and dreams, and speak on things we are opposed to in our communities.

We talk about things that make sense and are pretty creative.

But when it comes to execution, a lot of us fail to pull off what actually needs to be

done.

Maybe it's because we don't know where to start or maybe because we are still young

we feel that it isn't our place to have our ideas heard to a larger audience.

We do a lot of talking, but that's all that we do.

This is a mentality I strongly feel needs to change within our communities.

A lot of the time you are too scared to speak up and be heard.

You don't like the attention you get when you stand out.

You pay too close attention to those who have doubts, making you question your own dedications.

The change within our communities needs to start with how we see things.

You may not want to be the center of a crowd or classroom, but yet you still like to be

seen and heard on social media.

But the podium there is not of much significance when your only intent is to complain and bash

those who are your classmates, family members, and community members.

Instead of complaining about what you hate, you can begin to talk about what you think

can make your community better.

Learning and teaching goes far beyond the classroom, and what is most important to us

is our cultural identity.

How can we find use social media to learn and teach cultural values and even bring back

our language?

How can we use social media to reach out to our villages and promote positive campaigns

and be informed on political issues?

All of these are what I want you, the future of our Hopi people to consider.

You already know how to use these tools, but I say that you can learn to use them in a

way that can truly impact and bring change to our community.

It's time that you step up, express how you feel, create what is inside your hearts

and minds, and share it with those who are wanting to watch and listen to what you have

to say from around the world.

How can we work together?

By communicating and not holding back on our ideas, I'm sure we can figure out the best

way to collaborate.

I honestly don't know where to start myself, but I did show up, and I am still willing

to make the connections necessary in order to move forward with my goal.

Know that I am here at the table and invite you to join me to figure things out.

If you are a student interested in what I have to share, let your teachers know.

This can only be accomplished through open communication and dedication from everyone

interested in making things happen.

That is all I have to share in this video.

Thank you so much for watching, my name is Samivaya, you can call me JD.

Don't forget to like share and subscribe, also to keep in touch through social media

by visiting the links listed below.

And if you already are a subscriber you will see me later!

Feline immunodeficiency virus (The disease of primates and armadillos) | Animal diseases | - Duration: 7:01.

AIDS, a dreaded disease and that a significant portion of the population in the world,

where approximately 36 million people are suffering from this disease and most

of cases occur in underdeveloped countries, being the continent most

Africa cases, which theorizes that its origin comes from a virus that comes from

the monkeys. this can lead us to doubt, apart from the above how this could happen,

other species can contract this disease and if they can not transmit, and the

animal kingdom that answer can be found in cats, which have their own

virus that generates the same scenario as in humans, which is called virus

feline immunodeficiency virus. This virus belongs to the family of the

retroviruses, RNA as genetic material and has the same morphological structure

that human virus, which is different proteicamente in its molecular arrangement, the

feline leukemia virus, which are of the same family. They have identified five

subtypes based on their nucleotide sequence that coordinate this protein coat

virus. as its symptoms could not be different it focuses on the condition of the immune system,

had a greater affinity to the T lymphocytes, macrophages by lymphocytes, responsible

detect any infectious agent or outside the body and destroy it to create

an immunological memory against these and have a greater response against anything

you can quasar an imbalance in health. This virus is introduced into the above

mentioned cells to make them in machines viral creation within them to

you're explode in a shower of millions of viruses that infect others,

to the point of reducing the number of lymphocytes in the body, which does not happen immediately

but it takes months or years to develop to the point that the cat begins to show

symptoms caused by secondary infections. Apart cause inflammation

in the lymph in the early stages, where lymphocytes are produced, reaching

to general lymphadenopathy; where the first thing you notice is the owners down

weight, anorexia, carelessness coat, infections seden not as fast as in other cases,

gingivitis, stomatitis and other diseases from bacteria, other viruses,

do i let my disability stop me - Duration: 5:10.

*snap clap clap clap snap snap*

We have a topic to talk about today.

That's the topic of whether or not I let my disability stop me.

That's one of the really big things in, I guess about the disabled community, is that

we can do anything if we just overcome our disability and do whatever we put our minds to

It's just a different ability! blah blahasshd.

It's not.

I don't have a different ability, I have a disability.

There aren't things that I do differently, there are things that I can't do at all.

Do I let my disability stop me?

Yes, of course, I do.

And that's not bad.

That's not wrong to admit, that doesn't make me a bad person or less of a person.

It doesn't make me this angry sad person that hates everything because I let my disability

stop me.

It keeps me alive because I let my disability stop me.

I let it stop me when I'm having really bad days.

There are days when it keeps me from doing school.

There are days when it keeps me from going to the grocery store.

Thre are days when it keeps me from hanging out with friends.

I let it stop me because if I push through, I'll hurt myself.

It's okay to let your disability stop you, and the idea that a disabled person can't

let their disability get in the way of how they live their life an idea that is founded

completely on ignorance of what it actually means to be chronically ill or have a disability.

I'm not overcoming my disability because "overcoming my disability" implies that I'm getting rid

of it, that I'm forgetting about it and moving on, and I'm not.

I'm definitely not forgetting about it because I can't because it's my life.

Able-bodied people are convinced that in order for disabled people to be happy, they need

to be constantly encouraged that they're doing something right.

When, if anything, I would have much rather had someone tell me cold hard facts "this

is what it's going to be like: it's gunna be really hard, you're going to have a lot

of days where you can't do things that you used to be able to do, you're going to struggle,

you're gunna be in a lot of pain, but you're also going to learn how to deal with it.

You're gunna meet a lot of people because of it.

You're going to be able to make a change.

You're going to be able to have a voice because if these things."

Like yeah, there are some days where Ido push through the pain, but that's not overcoming

my disability.

Usually, when I "overcome" my disability it's out of pure spite because I'm tired of it

taking over my life.

It's not bad of me, or bad of anyone, to acknowledge that a chronic illness or a disability keeps

them from doing something.

There's a difference between letting your stop you and letting it keep you from enjoying existing.

I'm not saying 'okay even if you're in a pit of despair just let that one ray of sunshine

bring you hope for the future.'

There are days where that's just not enough.

But, when I am stopped because of those things, I find something else that I can do where

I won't be stopped.

So, I draw or I read or I sleep.

I just- it needed to be acknowledged that you're allowed to let your disability stop

you.

You're allowed to let your chronic illness keep you from doing some things.

And, you're not less of a person in general because you let those things stop you and

get in your way.

I feel like a lot of people have been told that if they let their disability stop them

then they're just giving in.

Which doesn't make any sense because it's not bad- like it's something that is fully

100% a part of you and that's not necessarily something you can just overcome and forget

about and just live your life like the best life you can.

It's gunna take time.

It's gunna be really hard, and it's going to be time-consuming, but that doesn't mean

that you're neglecting yourself or neglecting your happiness for letting your disability

stop you.

And there's nothing wrong with saying that it doesn't stop you.

If you don't let it stop you from doing great things and you're able to push through, and

you have a chronic illness or disability that doesn't stop you from doing fun things that

you want to do then that's great.

That's fantastic.

But, I'm just coming from a place where it does stop me, it stops me a lot, form doing

a lot of really fun things.

So, that's just my point of view on it so, let me know what you think.

If you are someone that is chronically ill or disabled, what are your thoughts on this?

Did I get any of it right?

Did any of it sound good?

In the meantime, rejoice in the day and be glad in it.

I will see you guys later.

Bye.

HOW TO GET GIRLS AT HALLOWEEN PARTIES | How to Get Girls At Costume Parties - Duration: 4:45.

So Halloween is coming soon, and I KNOW that means I'm gonna start getting a bunch of

comments asking "Zeus how do I get girls at Halloween parties" so since I'm a god

damn god and can read your mind, I decided to make this video before you even asked for

it.

You're welcome.

Step 1: Dress up.

Come up with a creative costume and make sure you wear it to the party.

I highly suggest going all out with your costume and getting all the little details and accessories

for it because these will all elevate your costume and make it really easy for you to

stand out.

Don't be that guy who's too cool to dress up because then you'll come off as lame

and no fun which is NOT the impression you wanna give off if you plan on getting some

pussy

This works out well for 2 reasons, 1) it makes girls more likely to make a comment on your

costume because it's really clear that you put a lot of time into it.

And once your costume starts the conversation for you, then it's really easy to continue

it and spit game.

2) it makes guys more likely to make a comment on your costume because it's really clear

that you put a lot of time into it.

And having guys talking to you at a party is good because then it makes you seem more

social and like a cool guy, it helps you meet new people and make friends with them, AND

the more guys you talk to at a party, the more likely you are to meet the girls they're

friends with.

Trust me - people are very open on Halloween and WILL comment on your costume if it's dope

... and you can also comment on theirs if you see someone you wanna talk to.

Step 2: Avoid wearing full face masks.

Although there's some pretty cool costumes with masks, it's not the best idea to wear

them to a party because then it'll be hard to talk to people, you'll get all hot and

sweaty, and girls won't be able to take you as seriously.

Wearing something small like a Zorro mask is fine because it doesn't cover your whole

face and it fits the costume, but I generally stay away from big masks.

Some creative costume ideas that I've personally used before and could serve as good conversation

starters are Superman, Captain America, Batman, Robin, and Mr Incredible.

These are good costumes to get if you're skinny or in average shape because then you

can make the costumes funnier by getting the cheesy muscle version of these because then

they end up looking so big and ridiculous you're sure to have people comment on it.

If you're in really good shape though, I suggest getting the regular version since

it'll fit tighter on your body and show off your gains.

Also, if it's a character that girls will recognize and be familiar with, it can stimulate

a good conversation on its own - I'm actually planning to be Superman this year because

that Justice League movie is coming out a couple weeks after Halloween, so anyone who's

into that shit - which is practically everyone - will have a really easy conversation starter.

Some good costume ideas for guys who are in good shape are things like a swimmer, a police

officer, a fireman, and shit like that.

Step 3: Actually talk to girls.

Now, this may sound obvious but it's important to understand that putting on a costume does

not automatically mean you're gonna hook up with somebody.

You actually have to do the work as well.

But luckily, it's super easy to talk to girls at a halloween party because they're

all in costumes too so it's easy to comment on and tease them about what they're wearing.

Another good conversation tactic at costume parties is to actually be in character based

on what you're wearing.

People are at parties to have a good time, so they're more open to you coming up and

making a joke or comment that relates to your costume.

You can also poke fun at girls and treat them as if they're supposed to be in character

already.

For example, if a girl is dressed up as superwoman, you can easily make a comment about her ability

to fly or some shit like that.

And if you're dressed up as Batman you can easily put on the deep Christian Bale voice

and make a silly comment as well - I've done this before and it's really funny.

"I'm Based Zeus."

Don't overthink it, people go out on Halloween to have a good time so as long as you come

off as confident and fun, whatever you say will be well received.

In summary:

Dress up in a creative costume.

Avoid big ass masks.

Actually talk to girls by making a comment about their costumes, or by acting in character.

Good luck bros!

Take some pics of you out on Halloween and tag me in em on Instagram and let me know

how many girls you got using these tips!

All The Way Home 2017 - Andrew's Story - Duration: 9:22.

I was born in San Diego, California in 1984.

My father was a naval officer.

Peabody, MA.

His father's naval career left his mother as the primary caregiver for Andrew and his

brother.

ANDREW, Alumnus, The Sullivan Family Moving Ahead Program

My mom really struggled with her mental health and alcohol specifically.

But it was really tough on Nick and I, my little brother, because often times we were

left alone or had to take care of ourselves because my mom just couldn't, couldn't do it.

My mom was always out drinking or we really never knew what to expect.

I had to take responsibility for my brother and look after him to make sure that we were

okay when she couldn't.

I remember actually not even attending second grade.

I had just graduated the fifth grade and my brother and I were with my mom.

She started to, you know, drink with her friends and was drunk most of the day.

The police came out.

The officer gave me his card and he said "if anything changes, if you don't feel safe,

call me" and my mom continued to drink that day.

I didn't feel safe so I had used the phone number that the police officer gave me.

They came down and got me and my brother and took us to the station and called my father

to come get us.

ANTHONY: Andrew's dad His mother's death I mean was a huge thing.

It affected us all.

He's essentially grown up without a mother.

ANDREW I remember crying myself to sleep for months

after her death, just sad.

There was just a lot of peer pressure at the time to experiment with pills and other drugs

and it really affected my grades and my performance in school.

The first time I ever did OxyContin, I got very sick.

I despised it.

I didn't like how it made my friends act.

I didn't like how it made me feel, but it just was everywhere and I think after the

first two or three times I started to get hooked.

I would wake up feeling hot and cold sweats, aches and pains, and I knew that I had to

get more of the OxyContin to feel better.

It really took over my life.

Family really didn't matter anymore.

It was always about, you know, the next pill.

I took money from my father in the form of checks.

I would write them out to myself and deposit them at the bank without him knowing.

I also stole jewelry from downstairs neighbors, neighbors that helped raise us as kids so

they were like family.

ANTHONY: I couldn't have him come home.

I just couldn't have him here.

I mean as a parent it is probably the worst and it is probably the worst decision that

you have to make.

When Andrew was homeless, I was terrified.

I always expected to get a call saying that he was dead.

ANDREW: When I was homeless, I would sleep in the

cemetery.

I began to become hopeless.

I really felt desperate.

It just felt like there were so many problems, but I couldn't find a solution.

There were no lights at the end of the tunnel for me.

I first heard about St. Francis when I was completing an outpatient program and eventually

I was called in for an interview and the next day I was told that I was accepted to a class

and I was so relieved.

I thought, I just kept thanking the instructor.

If I hadn't found St. Francis House I, I might very well be dead.

ASHLEY: Alumni Coordinator: Moving Ahead Program While Andrew was here in the Moving Ahead

Program, he w as able to get more confidence in himself.

I think that's really why it helped stick this time while he was in recovery, because

he had the support of all the staff here at St. Francis House.

ANDREW: I think what makes the Moving Ahead Program

unique is it doesn't end at graduation.

Their whole Alumni Center is always there for you.

There is all these resources that are still available and I think that that's what made

the difference.

Massachusetts State House

ASHLEY: When we had our Advocacy Day at the State House for the Moving Ahead Program, he volunteered

to be one of our group leaders.

He has taken all of the terrible things that have happened in his life, all of the experiences

that he's been through, turned that around with the help of St. Francis House and been

able to use that to change other people's lives.

So it's not just about moving himself forward, he has really been helping other people move ahead as well

JENNIFER: Eliot is a nonprofit agency.

Andrew is our vocational specialist so his job is to assist clients in kind of exploring

what they want to do as far as work or education.

Andrew has empathy and compassion.

And I think that his experience at St. Francis House, I think really kind of drove those

qualities and he's here now and just doing such an amazing job because of it.

ANDREW: It's awesome to be able to give back.

To look back at how when I was struggling and now being able to help someone find a

job or help someone craft a resume, it's just a great feeling.

My relationship with my father and my brother has just improved 100 fold since I've been

in recovery.

ANTHONY: I'm very proud of Andrew and what he's

been able to accomplish and he is also going to school and getting his degree and he is

just a terrific kid.

ANDREW: Our relationship is totally different.

It is so much stronger.

I am really fortunate to have them.

St. Francis is an amazing place.

It really gave me the hope and the foundation to build my life back up.

I really feel like St. Francis saved my life.

Oven Roasted Brussel Sprouts | Garlic Fennel Brussel Sprout Recipe - Duration: 2:23.

Hey everybody and welcome to the video.

This is Josh here, and today we're going to be making oven roasted brussel sprouts.

It's time for the stigma to end, these brussel sprouts are so easy to make and taste incredible.

The oven roasting provides a great crispy texture and the flavors from the garlic and

fennel work really well with this awesome vegetable.

I really hope you give these a try, be sure to let me know down below if you do and subscribe

if you'd like to see more, I put out new recipe videos twice a month.

Starting off, we're going to prepare the sprouts for roasting.

Remove the bottom and slice the sprouts in half.

Don't worry about the extra leaves if they fall, I usually just discard them at the end

of the roasting

Put the chopped brussel sprouts in a gallon bag and add a tablespoon of oil, along with

a bit of lemon juice.

For our spices, we're going to be using salt, pepper, garlic powder, and fennel seeds.

Seal the gallon bag and mix everything together thoroughly.

Spray a baking sheet with some nonstick spray and dump the coated brussel sprouts onto the

pan, spreading them out evenly.

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit and put the sprouts in the oven to roast for

a total of 30 minutes.

I forgot to add these while filming, but adding a few sprigs of rosemary onto the pan before

roasting will really add some nice flavor to the sprouts.

Half way through roasting we're going to want to remove our pan from the oven and flip

the sprouts to ensure even browning.

Place them back into the oven to finish cooking for the remaining 15 minutes or until the

brussel sprouts are browned but not burnt.

But that is it.

At just over 120 calories, this is a great way to get some extra micronutrients and volume

into a meal.

The flavors and texture of this awesome vegetable are truly amazing, be sure to give these a

go during your next meal prep.

Head over to the website for the ingredient amounts and more info, it's www.beardedfatloss.com

But until next time, I will talk to you all later.

Have a good one.

Before we get start on how to start a car detailing business

Make sure you subscribe like and share this video

I would appreciate

that so much

so how do you start a car detailing business Well there is a few things your going to

need right out the gate.

1st your going to need supplies I would go to Amazon.com and buy a Car detailing

kit This will cost about $59.99

I have the link in the description to get your kit.

Then I would go ahead and get my EIN # This is FREE and it will make you a legit

i

would

get a Website which would be about $20 For domain name and a hosting account

Next I would purchase business cards

and fliers.

You can easily do this online at vistaprint.com

This is a key component

because you don't want to just buy a car detailing

kit and not have any marketing material to

start getting clients.

Now the way I would market my Car Detailing business

it would be through

Craigslist Depending on where you live

I would go to local car shows and

market there

I would go to office buildings and leave my fliers on cars or

in the actually lobby if you can Because people love to get there car washed

at work.

I would market my service at my local church.

Gas stations.

Smaller local car dealerships.

Malls.

You can even do this businrss at your house or if you live

in a city that has those self service car wash bays

You can tell your clients to meet you there if your just starting out.

hard if you put most of your energy into marketing and not just buying equipment and hoping people

show up.

How To Overcome Depression | Golden Minette - Duration: 7:01.

hey guys I don't know if you can see my big pimple right there yeah that right

there is it on this side? I don't want to touch it welcome

back you guys my name is golden minette if you've never

been to my channel and if you haven't you guys should subscribe like now you

not now but later on Oh whatever you you ready okay today we're going to

discuss how to overcome depression I've struggle with this and I'm just gonna

share my basic knowledge where I what I'm doing to get over this it is a walk

every day it's like being sober and it's like one step at a time if this video

helps you please give a thumbs up share with others and subscribe let's get

started

I wanna make this videos not just for the believers but for people

who aren't believers you know I believe everyone deserves this knowledge and I'm

gonna try my best to really share this because I do share Bible verses and not

everyone believes in them and that's fine but these words do help these bible

verse do make a difference it doesn't hurt you know it's not like you're gonna

be killing people that's not really a good analogy I do a lot of reflection

and I think that's what helps me really to get over depression it's like really

reflect and identify what's making me sad and ask yourself why you feel this way you know

are you comparing yourself that's one thing I struggled with the reason why I was depressed

because I would compare myself to other people you know are you sad because

this relationship is not going no where is it unhealthy are you struggling financially

like anything that's making you sad like what you think might just think

about those thoughts you know write it down to see what could it be one thing

I've learned in my depression is you can't always rely on your feelings

what we feel is not always right you guys and we have to learn in our flesh our

flesh our flesh. What? our flesh is naturally sinful and that's

why it's important to live by the spirit as believers this is why it's important to

know the word to live by the word and live by the spirit another thing that helps me

my depression was telling God every little detail

how you feel how are you not satisfied with your life right now you

know anything just be real with God anything that's in your mind you're

really thinking about it so you might as well just let it all out expressing your

feelings of God or non-believers to your therapist over to a friend who is going to

actually help you grow and one thing I realized as well is what you are

listening to whether it's television movies music that can really affect your

thought process which is kind of kind of convert to my next thing is your

thoughts what are you thinking about that's important you guys you gotta able

to capture any thoughts in your mind because what you think about it's what

you become really think about it a lot of thinking you know what you constantly

thinking about what are you I'm listening to what are you feeding your

ears into yeah you know what I mean I think this is the most important

thing about depression is what are you saying daily what are you speaking into

existence constantly speak over my life I am not depressed

you know there's a quote growing up I always hear and sister hates this quote but I

love it it's fake it until you make it I will

constantly tell myself I am not depressed

I will speak all these positive things into myself and surely if you're slowly

I start to believe it like you really don't know what you're doing with those

words that's coming your mouth because you just are assuring yourself that you

are so I really have to fake it until I make it even though I was feeling that way

I had to tell myself that I'm not gonna be that way. Being alone that's how the devil attacks

you and that's not a good idea you know find a Facebook groups you can go on or

church groups you can join it's pretty cool

like social media take advantage of that really built a friendship from that and it

doesn't hurt you really have to get out of your comfort zone stop getting comfortable in your

depression. I was listening to a video of a preacher

he was saying if you depress sing for two weeks something that's simple can

make a difference I'm not a singer I don't sing well I mean I sing in a group

you know I use to do choir when no one can hear me but for a couple of days I

was in my car and put on positive music and it doesn't have to be like Christian

like holy moly and all that but like this positive music at least you know I

mean like uplifting and there's a lot of that and I will just sing out loud just

really sing out loud in my car as I'm driving to work or going back home and

wow it's it's weird but it's weird how it kind of works I try it for two weeks

watching this videos you're not gonna get over depression overnight it is a

daily walk like I said before in the beginning it's like being sober and

taking one step at a time one day at a time and I think this difference between

joyfulness and happiness happiness is a feeling joyfulness is the lifestyle

you have to remember that a nice quote I'mma quote that, quote me guys

reading out loud even a word of God the Bible or an encouraging quote

I cannot stress this enough you guys speaking out loud positive things into

yourself that's so important really important okay non- believers find

inspirational book like this book I always recommend is for non-believers

and believers you can read it - it's called the secret I recommend this book

read it it's a life-changing so I want to hear your thoughts if you have

struggled with depression and you're over that comment down below please like cuz

I don't have all the answers everyone's journey everyone's journey is different

this is what I've learned through that journey of depression and how I overcame

it but your way can be different so please please comment down below

a lot of people would love to see your comments see your wisdom your knowledge you know if

you have something good share with others that's

the beauty of life really so comment down below let me hear your

thoughts and they see and if you struggle with this I want to be able to

help you guys you know I want to build a community where we can all come together

and really talk and share our struggles and help each other out how to overcome

this struggles or anything you do you're dealing with you know but thank you guys

so much for watching I love you all so much and let's grow together

Financial Freedom Friday #43 - How to Save Money - Manage Your Personal Finances - Duration: 1:17.

(bright music)

- Good morning, y'all!™️ It's your girl, Reka Darn B,

Back with a Financial Freedom Friday video tip of the week.

This week's tip is to consider alternative gift ideas.

I know that we think our kids

and our loved ones only want stuff,

but most of the time they'd be okay

with you doing something for them

that they don't like to do themselves.

So when you're thinking about gifts

during the holiday season,

think outside of the traditional spectrum

of just giving material items.

Do something for them

that doesn't take too much of your time

and doesn't cost you any money

so you can save in that area.

And then they won't have something

that they probably didn't even want in the first place

and they'll end up either re-gifting it or giving it away

and it'll be crowding up their house.

So that is this week's Financial Freedom Friday

video tip of the week.

Say No! To Dog Breath! - Duration: 5:21.

Hey! It's April Bolivar Your Friendly Dog Trainer

Follow My Lead LLC Hello! I'm April Bolivar and I want to thank you so much

for coming in and taking some time out of your day to watch my video today!

And if its your first time I'm April Bolivar. I'm a certified dog trainer and

proud honors graduate of Animal Behavior College and it's my passion to help you

enrich your bond with your dog. So okay, today's video is called Just Say No To

Dog Breath! So we're gonna go over some behavior issues that your dog might be

having that is making your dog's breath really stinky. I'm gonna tell you ways to

solve them at how to just say no to that doggy breath so let's get into it!

You love your dog, but what you don't love is that dog breath.

That breath is bad! Say no to dog breath! You don't have to gag when your dog

sticks this muzzle in your face! Make that dog breath a thing of the past and

if you're wondering how to do that, I'm gonna tell you in this video. We're going

to go over four behavior issues that might be causing your dog to have really

bad breath and I'm gonna give you some simple solutions on how to solve it. So

the first one is dumpster diver. If your dog likes to peruse the trash can for a

snack this might make their breath smell well trashy. So you may need to find a

better way to store that trash. You might want to keep your trash can in a closet,

under the sink, in the pantry or in a cabinet and use childproof locks to keep

your trashcan secure. If you have a garage and your dog doesn't have access

this also may be a safe place to keep your trash can. Another option is a metal

trash can with a pedal or sensor. Make sure it's heavy enough so that your dog

can't tip it over. Also, it's really important to take out

the trash as often as you can and don't let that bag overflow!

Is your dog a poop eater? Well, that will make your dog's breath smell horrible

and if your dog is eating its own poop you need to keep your yard clean and

pick it up right away. Now, if it's a cat poop that your dogs

eating you'll want to scoop the poop more frequently and maybe put a baby or

dog gate across the entryway. Your cats gonna be able to easily jump over it but

not your dog. How about roadkill? This will make your

dog's breath smell like death hung over! Try and make sure your dog doesn't

wander the neighborhood looking for a road pizza to munch on. If you're

walking your dog, a strong heel cue it's gonna really help you keep your dog away

from who knows what on the side of the road. Plaque and tartar this will

definitely cause some bad breath. You can get rid of it with yearly cleans

from the veterinarian or, you can save some cash and brush your dog's teeth

daily with a dog toothbrush and dog toothpaste for as little as a minute or

less a day. So there you have it! So with these tips you can say no to

dog breath! And hey, if you don't think you can brush your dog's teeth I have

news for you you can! I'll be releasing my Brushing Your Dog's Teeth Made Easy!

course very soon. It'll take you step by step on how to make brushing your dog's

teeth an enjoyable experience for you and your dog and it also has a

troubleshooting section if you hit any snags and did I mention the course has

lifetime access which means you can move at your dog's own pace! No time limit to

your access! Is that sweet or what? I can't wait to share it with you! Stay

tuned for the release! So there were a couple reasons why your dog might have

really bad breath and some really easy and simple solutions on how to solve

those problems for you to say no to doggy breath! So if you liked this video,

Hot Collectors Autominis 142 - HOT WHEELS RACEDAY PORSCHE 962 - Duration: 4:06.

Hey Hot Collectors today's big releases and news ... In Like

in the video production and the Wheel ... Vignette

Dear Hot Collectors track the porsche 962 Raceday collection of Hot Wheels Car Culture

You will be amazed with him and will want more than ever this

diecast model ... no more flat tire and let's get to ...

Guys I was going to do a show with some

diecast model of Raceday collection

and was already preparing the video when me

I came across the Porsche 962 just like but just like the Hot Wheels

... I said I was crazy !!!! And ... as it is not common to replicate hot wheels cars

really compete with painting just like

I had to not stop all You are doing to prepare for power blah blah blahhh

to tell the story of the # 99 that competed in Suzuka and Autopolis which are two

racetracks that are in Japan and ... also be able to speak a little of that

diecast compete for Japan Sports Prototype Championship in 1991

with riders Steven Andskär and with George Fouché ... Good if

I've enjoyed the diecast model before knowing these details ... now imagine right course ...

some details could be well best ... such as the issue of

interior trim diecast model once you are talking about a miniature

competed in the Japanese championship she has the steering wheel on the right, obviously

is wrong, the wheel had to be on the left ...

But ... the strengths of this miniature are precisely the wheels alas ...

they have two rings there ... I'm seeing two friezes

a close band of tires tire and that these internal and 16 spokes

are seeing ... are these spokes what's inside the wheel

it mimics those caps aerodynamics that there is in years

80 these prototypes;

car painting was exactly like the original painting

the position where the number of these risks here is the three tracks

It is with three colors;

sponsorship of Greddy;

exactly the same positions ...

only on the side that was another sponsor

more expensive, so there is less

these guys did exactly the same

position and then also just in the side exactly like that here

the sponsorship of the Porsche ... and right and these three tracks here

really a diecast model splendid guys ...

so something really out of the ordinary

also sponsored by the Porsche guy did the same ... All the same there's nothing

different from what you see not ... It is a diecast model that is a replicate of

an original car really ... And this in my opinion shows that the Hot Wheels

SIM can make real cars right ... cars that are not true

break the story ... This is the great cheap and in my opinion it

is just so obvious and also to all the quality that has diecast model

that this title is one of the best 2018 *

a Car Culture collection in my opinion is already one of the collections

historical of these hot wheels last 50 years and so I will ask for

production personnel put some applause here for Hot Wheels

For this collection ... For this car specifically deserves ...

Good Hot Collectors program

This week ended ... but next week we'll be back with more

releases and news. Until then!

They have identified five

subtypes based on their nucleotide sequence that coordinate this protein coat

virus. as its symptoms could not be different it focuses on the condition of the immune system,

had a greater affinity to the T lymphocytes, macrophages by lymphocytes, responsible

an immunological memory against these and have a greater response against anything

you can quasar an imbalance in health.

Apart cause inflammation

in the lymph in the early stages, where lymphocytes are produced, reaching

to general lymphadenopathy; where the first thing you notice is the owners down

weight, anorexia, carelessness coat, infections seden not as fast as in other cases,

gingivitis, stomatitis and other diseases from bacteria, other viruses,

protozoan and fungi, in which the cat is extremely susceptible to these that

are inevitably the cause of death, the same thing happens to people with HIV.

An estimated 2 to 3% of the population of cats worldwide are infected with

This virus, and cats like jaguars, lions, tigers, ocelots, ie all exponents

Family can catch it, which become infected by the bite of an infected cat,

not by saliva, but because the gums tend to bleed to be inflamed and

the pressure to make your teeth against an opponent, inoculate the virus

by this wound; another way is by sexual transmission, the same reason that humans

certainly the anterior approach, ie a vertical route, for the low incidence in young cats.

which puts two questions in mind, if this is processed to man or this can you

trasmitírselas felines, and the answer is no, both similar viruses each other only

They have unique receptors with families to which they belong, so your cat does not

You can infect you or your him if necessary. for diagnosis it is necessary to use

with feline leukemia. in the test may be the case that a false positive is given,

This means that presents antibodies against the disease, but not having the

virus, because they can obtain certain maternal immunoglobulins maybe if

presented the mother is, but it may be the first step to identify patients

sick, which can be defined as such a laboratory test.

Unfortunately there is no treatment against the disease, as in people,

where you must fight secondary infections and symptoms but not being able

treating the main cause. Several vaccines have been developed in order to immunize

cats against this, but it is complicated because there are many strains with different variations

and this happens because it is a disease with worldwide distribution, but it has generated

a vaccine with 2 subtypes of 5, which are inactive, does not afford protection

Cross against all but has been estimated that if 100% of the 2 subtypes applied,

but creating controversy because the vaccinated cats may be positive to the disease

in laboratory studies and making it very difficult to distinguish between animals

healthy to the sick, I personally think that if good control of vaccination is carried

records with this problem would diminish greatly, but they consider not essential.

The interesting thing is that this vaccine could mean a breakthrough for prevention

HIV, yet many studies and something that would be unethical to establish needed

if the application of this vaccine or for generating a new for people could

be implemented, because it is not known whether to apply an inactive virus exists the

possibility that this becomes infectious and accidentally infect one or more

people. the only way to secure prevention

the disease is avoiding exposure to the virus, ie prevent go on

thus preventing unnecessary street fights with other cats, performing an orchiectomy

They can put a condom. but being a disease underdiagnosed, with a population

same implications, that is the feline immunodeficiency virus.

Have a great weekend you all

See ya all next week

C'ya!

Poached Pears with Chocolate Sauce/Pere cotte al cioccolato - Duration: 4:40.

Hi everyone!

If you're looking for a beautiful and elegant dessert without spending countless hours in

the kitchen, look no further than this amazingly easy and totally delicious cinnamon poached

pears with chocolate sauce and chopped walnuts.

these are the ingredients we need: 4 medium ripe yet firm Williams or Bosc pears

750 ml / 25.3 fl oz water 100 grams / 3.5 oz granulated sugar

1 cinnamon stick, broken 1 lemon juice and zest

for the chocolate sauce: 100 grams / 3.5 oz dark chocolate, finely chopped

80 ml / 2.7 fl oz milk

a pinch of salt 50 grams / 1.7 oz chopped walnuts

Fill a bowl with cold water and pour in the lemon juice.

Peel the pears keeping the stems intact then cut a thin slice from the bottom of each pear

to create a stable base.

As you peel the pears, place them in the bowl of lemon water to prevent them from turning brown.

Combine the water, sugar, cinnamon and lemon zest in a saucepan big enough to hold all

4 pears fully immersed.

Bring to a boil and simmer for a few minutes, then add in the pears and cover with a parchment

paper lid to keep them immersed in the syrup.

This will ensure that your pears cook evenly.

Simmer for 10 minutes or until tender.

Gently remove pears from liquid and allow to cool to room temperature.

Strain the poaching liquid into a wide pan and set over medium-high heat and simmer,

uncovered, until thickened to a syrup consistency.

Meanwhile, make the chocolate sauce.

In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until warm.

Remove saucepan from heat, add the chocolate and salt then stir until chocolate is melted.

Pour chocolate sauce into a deep glass and dip each pear into the chocolate letting the

excess chocolate drip back into the glass before rolling in chopped walnuts.

To serve spoon chocolate sauce on a serving plate, top with the poached pear and drizzle

over the poaching syrup.

Poached pear and chocolate sauce is definitely a match made in heaven!

I just love the simplicity of the ingredients that create this delicious fall dessert

and how elegant it looks for something that is so easy to make.

Thank you for watching, I hope you enjoyed the video, please leave a '' like '', and

don't forget to subscribe! :-)
