iMac Pro + MacBooks + iPad Pro Hardware Refresh! - Duration: 5:40.

so WWDC for 2017 just happened and that's

Apple's Developers Conference that they have every year it's normally more

software focused and this year I mean there was a bunch of software that was

announced but the one thing that kind of stuck out for me was the adaption of a

file system for iPad so iOS 11 will have a new app called files and I think for a

lot of laptop users that have tried to switch over to iPads to replace their

laptop they hit that obstacle where they just can't manipulate files the way they

want to but this new files app looks pretty cool but I want to focus on the

hardware that was announced and this year there were quite a few so first the

entire MacBook and iMac lineup has been updated to cable a chips these KB Lake

CPUs are basically chip drops into the 2016 MacBook Pro so they were just you

know put in a new CPU into the existing architecture that was pretty simple the

advantages of kb lake well there's three big ones the first that you'll notice is

the faster clock speed so these base clocks are about 15% faster than the

previous generation it's not a huge difference in terms of actual user

experience it'll benchmark faster but the 2016 models will feel pretty similar

another thing that you'll have with the KB the chips are the speed shift

technology so that it's running a new version of speed shift and when you

launch an app or do anything that needs a short burst of speed these CPUs use

something called speed shift to fire up the turbo the KB League processors turbo

up quite a bit faster the last thing is video encoding and decoding so the K

bulik chips have Hardware on the chip to decode and encode h.264 and vp9 codecs

and the end result is that you'll have just better battery life when you're

streaming 4k content on your laptop the integrated graphics on the MacBook Pros

are also the new version so instead of the iris 540 and 550 the new ones have

iris plus 640 and 650 in regards to a performance increase for 3d gaming or 3d

applications it's pretty insignificant but in general the KB Lake chips are

nice it's just more focused on energy efficiency more than anything else so if

you're running I guess the 2016 models there's really no real reason to upgrade

but if you have one of the older ones like the

fifteen or twenty fourteen models there's just a bit more incentive to

upgrade now the IMAX also received a kb lake upgrade and they have more options

for ran and the screens and video cards have also been updated

the base model has an integrated GPU the higher res models have some new Radeon

Pro GPUs they're going to have similar TDP to the previous generation so it's

not gonna be like a massive increase in performance but it's nice to have new

IMAX I will be doing a full review of those new IMAX when I get them in I want

to see what those video cards are capable of now the thing that was most

interested in was the new iMac Pro it launches in December and it's pretty

expensive it's gonna start at five thousand dollars loaded out with nice

hardware and it's packaged in a very compact iMac shaped case but what makes

it special is the processor like this is the first iMac that's had more than four

core for the processor and I mean that's special because it's difficult to cool

something with six eight or ten cores and in this case they're top-end model

has 18 cores which is insane I find it difficult to believe that they can cool

a properly utilized 18 core Xeon processor in that chassis I'll be

impressed if they do but the other thing that kind of sucks about it is the price

tag they haven't revealed like the full top-end price but you know that it's

Apple and the price jumps up exponentially when you go up in core

count so 18 cores I think it's gonna top out it like 10 grand it's crazy the iPad

pro also had a hardware revamp ten and a half inch screen with smaller bezels a

bunch of nice new features the standard thing for me though is the hundred

twenty Hertz refresh rate so 120 Hertz panels are really nice for gaming

animations look really smooth stuff just looks very fluid on it movies and videos

will still look the same but any kind of high frame rate stuff will look really

fluid provided the developer or the creator of that content has allowed for

higher frame rates so things like UI animations and possibly some games those

are just gonna look really smooth now the faster refresh rate is gonna allow

for a faster response time with the Apple pencil the old version had a

response time I think of 38 milliseconds so noticeable lag when you were using

the pencil this has an advertised rate of 20 milliseconds so quite a reduction

in response time as for whether or not 120 Hertz panel is useful otherwise like

aside from the artists application I would say no it's really difficult to

justify the extra frames it's just an aesthetic thing but it is nice to look

at the Apple home pod I don't know how I feel about this thing at $350 it's not

crazy expensive but the integration feels I don't know I'm not that

impressed by it I mean there's cool tech in it there's seven tweeters there's

technology inside this thing to kind of measure and map the room that you're in

for adjustment of the sound waves and stuff like that it's cool it's just that

I feel like any kind of high-end Bluetooth speaker could have done

something very similar to this with your phone now the one thing I can say is

that this is the first generation of it if they add stuff to it so if they add

like an Apple TV built into this home pod thing so let's say home pod to

theirs and built in Apple TV or there's built-in like mesh Wi-Fi into these

units and you can place them all over your house that's kind of cool that's

cooler but in its current iteration I'm not that impressed by it anyways that's

the end of this video I mean there's a lot of hardware from this WWDC I've

covered like a very small amount of it just the superficial stuff I will be

doing individual reviews for anything that I personally find super interesting

so if we subscribe for those hope you guys enjoyed this video thumbs of you

liked it the slavs loves it I'll see you guys next time

How I learned to write (well). - Duration: 3:35.

Hi friends.

My junior year in college I got a job as a writing tutor, and the room where we worked

in the library became like home to me.

Three weeks out of every month my job consisted mostly of eating a lot of pretzel sticks and

drawing otters on the library whiteboard.

But then one week a month, 2 or 3 days before they were due, all the freshman composition

assignments came in and we'd have back to back appointments with all these newbies who

were hungry to do well but unequivocally thought they were bad writers.

One of the first things you do in a tutoring appointment is you ask the reader to read

their paper to you, out loud and I remember how one by one they all turned a shade paler

at the idea of having to not only show me their work but also say the words out loud

like they owned them.

I used to feel the same way about writing.

In high school I filled up so many notebooks with writing that wasn't necessarily *good*

but it wasn't terrible for a 10th grader.

And it was mine.

Then i entered it in a writing contest and even though I *won* the contest.

I started hearing gossip about the AP english kids saying they didn't like it,and I didn't

show anyone my writing again--who wasn't grading it--for years.

When I realized I hated my advertising major I was scared to switch to English because

all of that writing.

I ended up in advanced composition class that I dreaded because we were split into groups

of four and every week, all semester, we had to read our work out loud to the group.

And it was terrifying.

But by assignment two I realized that with people giving me advice on how to revise my

work, and um, actually taking it, I ended up with some pretty decent stuff.

I liked it enough that I switched to a writing major, and got a job helping people do the

same thing that class did for me.

The thing that I heard most often when I talked to writers was that they felt stuck.

Like they didn't know how to even get started or that they'd run into a wall where their

writing just couldn't get better.

But that's what reading it out loud is for.

You start by asking the writer to explain the assignment and their thesis or argument

and maybe they can't quite articulate it yet, but you talk through it out loud, and

good tutoring ends up like holding one end of a ball of yarn and letting the writer unravel

it and untangle it until they see exactly how to get from their end of the string to

yours.

Finally they get to the the surprise reveal of the point they were trying to make all

along and you write that down on the piece of paper you've had in front of you the

whole time, taking notes, and you circle it and say start there.

You're not stuck anymore.

Now you can rewrite, and revise.

Reading my work out loud helped me too—it helped me untangle my own thoughts enough

to see that maybe my original thesis didn't hold up.

That my short stories were emo trash and therefore I wasn't a good writer.

But I couldn't support that with evidence.

I rewrote and revised my own understanding of writing and of myself to realize that there

are many genres and forms and ways to be a writer.

So fiction wasn't my thing.

But I liked introspection.

And I liked telling true stories.

So i circled that in my notes.

And decided to start there.

In the comments, tell me something you once believed about yourself that you had to revise.

Also ask me your questions about writing and i'll save them for future videos.

If you liked this video you can subscribe.

You can also find me anywhere on the internet @itsradishtime and I will see you next week.

Bye!

Put the pan over high heat.

Incorporate the sugar with the apple and salt.

After it's boiling for ten minutes mix it. Drag the jam to a side. If you still have watery liquid it's not done.

Bitcoin Price Prediction + Analysis! Will It Keep Going Up? 2017, 2018, 2020 Price Prediction! - Duration: 7:45.

what's going on guys today we're gonna be talking about Bitcoin and Bitcoin

price and what pricing we think bitcoin is going to go to so a very requested

video everyone's always interested since the main bitcoin is the number one

cryptocurrency right now in the space and it probably will remain that way for

quite some time it's a pretty look at its price like it's oh it was at 6,000

its market cap is it was at a hundred that billion was that 100 billion before

aetherium runner up and it's only at 30 so it's way ahead of the competition and

yeah bitcoins really the number one this is what everyone knows if you're gonna

talk to people on the street you mentioned Bitcoin they'll probably know

it if you mentioned cardinal or cute um

they probably don't know what you're talking about so that's why we're gonna

go in I'm not gonna be giving any math here if you guys want like cap

calculations and stuff like that I can do that on another video just let me

know in the comments that's something you guys want to see otherwise look at

4.5% daily I actually might make a video a bit petite later we'll take a look at

it I'm not too familiar with it so I have to do my own research but that's

besides the point we're gonna go over the trends of the past Bitcoin and where

I think Bitcoin is going so um start obviously started Bitcoin was cheap this

is even when Bitcoin started here the price already hundred dollars Bitcoin

start price was that like point zero zero zero $1.00 so that's yeah this is

2013 2010 it was a lot less then it spiked up we got to the thousands

interesting nothing happened went back down and now here 2017 you

guys to see 2017 early 2017 you could have gotten this for where is it here

you go you could have got it for $1000 now it's past six thousand so if we look

at this part right here you guys to see the grit of the graph the trend it's

very easy to follow the path that's taken is relatively a very very easy one

to follow my zoom back out for us to see so what's the number one thing you guys

can tell that Bitcoin usually goes it spikes up it balances our it corrects a

little bit that'll shoot up again then it'll correct

that'll shoot up again and what's happening right now we're currently we

got past 6,000 at one point up here and now it's correcting it went all the way

back down to 5400 this would have been a great opportunity for people to buy I

don't know if it's gonna be any lower than that but currently it's what it

looks at five thousand seven hundred eighty three so it's still below six

thousand I think it's safe to say that it's going to go over six thousand again

pretty soon I don't know when but pretty soon and if you guys can see this is the

interesting part this is um this is the volume and you guys can see that

obviously when there wasn't a lot of volume there was not price wasn't that

high and this volume increase the price increase because this is really where

supply and demand comes there is maximum supply of 21 million Bitcoin right there

16 million in circulation right now so basically there is a cap to it there is

a certain limit to it we are mining it and I know you guys have seen crazy

price numbers everywhere but thing is if at the rate that we're mining it in

difficulty right now and the rate we're finding it in the president's going and

stuff like that there have been experts to say that milli that bitcoin front

might reach a million dollars now that's a lot of money right a lot of money some

people say that a Bitcoin could rent us for one Bitcoin some people say a

Bitcoin could reach a hundred thousand the thing is that people say these are

the people with open minds they are not gonna throw out and say something isn't

possible because Bitcoin went from point zero zero $1.00 to 6,000 so who's to say

it can't go to 1 million do I think it's going to 1 million anytime soon probably

not I'm not gonna say no look again I'm holding Bitcoin because I think Bitcoin

has a huge ceiling but I don't know if it's gonna be at 1 million anytime soon

the issue bitcoins having is trying to break through to people who are you know

close minded basically breaking through the system trying to you know create of

revolution that's it's the currency revolution we've had other revolutions

this is the currency revolution and nothing happens overnight you guys see

2017 is why I really started to get traction but if you think about how many

people own Bitcoin right now how many people invest in Bitcoin right now it's

a tiny fraction of the world so everyone else still has the opportunity to get

involved and trust me given time they're gonna start coming on

board cuz they're gonna realize what it is

most people say no when they're scared they don't understand something once

they start understanding it they start saying yes and that's really what we're

seeing right here and this is on the beginning and there's so many people

left to get into Bitcoin it's it's scary but that's why I'm saying bitcoin 5 is

by 2018 $10,000 is my prediction I think we're gonna end 2017 over way over 6,000

we might even hit 10,000 by 2017 but I'm gonna keep it safe and I'm gonna say

2018 is what I think we're gonna hit 10,000 and I'm gonna go out on a limb

and say in the future bitcoin is gonna hit a hundred thousand dollars I'm gonna

say it right now if you guys have two bitcoins right now twelve thousand

dollars you might be able to buy a Lamborghini in the future I actually saw

a video of a guy who paid a hundred and sixteen dollars for his Lamborghini

simply because he bought Bitcoin all the way back when and now it's worth so much

and he got a Lamborghini for a hundred sixteen dollars that he paid back then

so that's crazy but it's possible so I'm gonna that's

gonna be my prediction on where I think bitcoins headed

I think safe to say 6,000 is gonna be beaten obviously none of this is

financial advice obviously I have to throw this in here know this financial

advice I'm just telling you guys where I predict things are headed 6,000 fairly

safe to say I think 10,000 is pretty much a given at this point - it's

probably gonna hit 10,000 at some point and I'm saying it's gonna happen

hopefully in 2018 um after that 100,000 would be next waters he was like 20 30

to 50 thousand but I'm saying 100,000 in the long term I can see Bitcoin reaching

a hundred thousand dollars for one Bitcoin simply because there is a

maximum supply of it and a lot of people are gonna start still having to get into

it so the demand is going to skyrocket and the supply really isn't gonna change

cuz there's a maximum supply so basic economics is gonna tell us that bitcoins

price is gonna keep going up and yeah I'm super excited about this I

haven't seen this feature and this is what is this Oh interesting

oh yeah hopefully you guys learned a little bit something about Bitcoin price

you guys we went over the trends we went over predictions I would love to know

what your guys prediction is so leave that down below in the comments let me

know where you guys think bitcoins at five thousand seven hundred eighty three

at the moment I'm recording this video I don't know if I'm releasing this

tomorrow with or the day after so by the end it might already beat six thousand

who knows cryptocurrency is crazy volatile I love it for that reason

that's why a lot of people are making so much money with it if you guys are

interested in buying Bitcoin I have a link to coinbase down below you guys can

go check that out um it is super easy method to buy Bitcoin and for every

purchase that you guys make that's over $100 you get $10 free in bitcoins so

that's always a good time to anyways yeah guys thank you guys so much for

watching this video subscribe if you guys are new and you guys are interested

in more of these topics let me know if this any other video guys want to make

if you guys want me to make and all that stuff all that good stuff and yeah dang

By about this time the legislature had passed an Act, forbidding the taking of bets on horse

races anywhere else, except on the race course itself.

At first the Act was enforced within City limits.

So several race clubs started functioning at Saidapet, beyond the toll gate.

I continued to work there. But in a few months, the operation of the Act was extended to all

places, throughout the Presidency(state).I lost my job.My brother in law had therefore

to take to job hunting again,on my behalf.

One of his patients was Mr. Natesa Iyer.He was taking treatment for stomach ulcers.

He was employed in Government Office.

My brother in law explained my plight to him.

Looking intently at me, he felt a strong urge to be of some service to me.

He said so in so many words.

He offered to take me to a friend of his, on the following Sunday and arrange to get

me employed. He came accordingly next Sunday morning and I accompanied him to the house

of a friend of his, named Mr.Rajagopal Naidu.

Mr. Natesa Iyer requested him most earnestly to provide a job for me.

Mr. Rajagopal Naidu asked him to bring me to his Office the next day.

At 10.30 the next morning, Mr. Natesa Iyer, taking me with him entered the Postal Audit

Office located near the Mount Road.

That was a pleasant surprise.

For two whole years before this, I had passed that way several times on my way to Mylapore

from Mount Road.I had noted hundreds of employees going in and coming out of that building,

"What a good thing it would be", I had often thought, "if I could find a job for myself

in an office like this!"

Great was my surprise therefore when I found that I was taken to the very premises where

I wished to find a job for myself!

Mr. Natesa Iyer wrote out an application for me,and I signed it.

Mr. Rajagopal Naidu, who was the Head of a Section, had a talk with the Head Clerk for

a while endorsed my application suitably and sent it onto the Head of the Office.

In ten minutes the paper with the pad to which it had been attached came back.

There was now the Officer's signature on it, approving of my appointment.

What exactly was to be my work?

What was my pay?

I knew none of these details.

After 1.00 in the afternoon, they gave me work.

It was to open letters received by Registered Post and to record their particulars in a

register (kept for the purpose), noting the registration number, the address of the sender,

as well as the date and the number assigned to the communication.

I commenced the work and continued doing it till 5.00 in the evening, when Mr. Natesa

Iyer stepped into my Section and took me home to Mylapore.

He told my brother in law, "My young friend did not

get the particular job I had in view for him.

He has been given a lower job.

They have promised to give him the higher one as and when a vacancy arises".

Of course I was disappointment.

The pay was just fifteen rupees a month.

If I declined it, I knew both of them would be sorry.

So I said I would take the job.

With the utmost sincerity I carried on with my work from that day.

As promised, they transferred me to a higher post When the occasion came, and were quite

decent to me.

But my salary was just twenty three rupees.

It was quite inadequate.

For days on end I was very much worried about the

shortage and considered ways and means to meet it.

The thought struck me one day, "Why not do some weaving

too?

That would bring in ten more rupees per month."

I suited my action to the thought.

There was a weavers' colony about half a mile from

my sister's house.

The locality was called Tulukkachchi Thottam in those days.

The name has been changed latter on.I went there and hired a loom.

Even in this there was a snag.

The owner said, "We charge you, see, one rupee per

loom per month.

To lease a loom for only three hours a day?

That we can't afford."

I agreed to pay that one rupee myself in full.

The master weaver, who obliged, was Mr. Thangavelu Mudaliar, who was an active rationalist.

I never opened my mouth in his presence to speak of any other matter, social or political,

except just work and wages.

Thus I managed to get on smoothly with him for two whole years although I was steeped

in religion and he was an atheist!

My routine was like this: weaving, from six to nine in the morning.

Then bath and food, and the office at eleven.

Weaving, again, by lamplight from six thirty to eight. Thus I eked out my livelihood earning

an additional ten rupees.

Later, I got a teacher's job in an improvised school.

The work was confined to the morning; and the pay was seven rupees.

Thus manual labour was reduced to a certain extent.

13 Books October Book Haul Perfect for Those Fall Nights - Duration: 10:54.

hey guys oh what's up we are coming on here today to do a

October book haul and October's almost over

October is basically over so we're gonna just try to like it jump into it and see

what we've got going on here now if you guys have watched any of my previous

book hauls you know I don't have a clue what I'm talking about

I get books based on their cover and sometimes like a snippet like one or two

sentences that I may read that catches my eye and then based on that I kind of

assume with the focus about sometimes I'm right and sometimes I'm wrong but

you know that's the way I do things all right let's jump in we have one two

three we have thirteen books which is kind of cool cuz like thirteen was like

the bad luck number and it is October so that seems appropriate right right let's

jump in here let's start with something easy let's start with a coloring book

cause up what I have here and this coloring book is Paris Street style it's

actually kind of nice we have different style pages okay I think it's kind of

cool I haven't started coloring in it but it's all good I haven't for when I'm

ready all right we're gonna start with Sophie Kinsella my not so perfect life I

think I got this book just based on that title let's say workplace drama

everybody's living the life that she wants including her boss that lives in a

posh town house and where is the coolest clothes since no interesting

I thought the title sounded good so we went with it

okay the next book is by Luke Dietrich and it is called patient HM a story of

memory madness and family secrets that's how you know alone sounds good to me and

then it says in the late 1930s in asylums and hospitals across America a

group of renowned neurosurgeons embarks on a campaign to develop and refine a

new class of brain operation and lobotomy they hoped it would

eradicate everything from schizophrenia to homosexuality I don't know I thought

it sounded interesting so we got this book I'll have to check it out and then

we've got refuge a novel by Deena mayart and it starts off by saying an Iranian

girl escapes to America as a child but her father stays behind over the course

of 20 years she grows from confused immigrant child to overachieving Western

to sophisticated European at transplants it's an evolution her father sees only

in fragments and yeah I just thought that was interesting so we went ahead

and got this one and we'll read that and give a review once I read it I am so

behind on my book reading it's not even funny I'm still reading the very first

book that I got like back in was it oh my god August September oh my god that's

so embarrassing yeah obvious I I can't help it I started

reading this book and I was really into it and then I kind of like got out of it

but I'm gonna finish it before the end of this month and then I'll do a review

on that book and why it took so long and then I will start on something else new

I don't know all right we have Turtles all the way down by John

Green I haven't no idea what this book is about to be honest none I didn't even

pick this out this is like given to me 16 year old days I never intended to

pursue the mystery of fugitive billionaire Russell Pinkett but there's

$100,000 reward at stake and her best and most fearless friend Daisy is eager

to investigate they navigate the short distance to broad divides she's trying

to be a good daughter good friend good students and maybe even a good detective

while also living with her ever tightening spiral of her own thoughts I

haven't no idea what this book is about but I ever heard something actually good

things about it but I've never I haven't heard like what it's about just there's

been a lot of like buzz around this book so

I don't know and then we have this book by Dan Brown called origin this is a

it's an extension of The Da Vinci Code I think or it's the author of The Da Vinci

Code which I've never read The Da Vinci Code I don't know nothing about The Da

Vinci Code but this is supposed to be a good book have it well read it

we have Amanda quick the girl who knew too much does that like a film like a

good book or what sounds like a good book to me all right now keep in mind

too what I picked a lot of these books out it was like a month ago so I don't

even remember what a lot of these books like what drew me to them but anyway

when Hollywood moguls and stars want privacy they head to a small town on the

coast where the exclusive burning Cove hotel caters to their every need this

has a dead woman had a red-hot secret about up-and-coming leading man Nick a

scoop that Irene couldn't resist especially since she was just a rookie

at a third-rate gossip rag so it looks like somebody's dead and there's gonna

be an investigation and the girl who knew too much so that all kind of like

flew them together I think that'll be a good book

this is called dead letters by Kate Dolan leach and I really don't know what

it's about the dead letter sounds like it's gonna be interesting and it says

ava has her reasons for running away a failing family vineyard a romantic

betrayal perhaps a father mother slipping into dementia huh I don't know

even in a family of alcoholics sound like some drama family stuff I like it

to dig it can dig it all about family drama Sara joy always I don't know why I

picked this book up cuz I don't know let's say enjoying the romantic in like

dinner with her fiance Ryan at one of Seattle's chicest restaurants Kayleigh

can't believe her good fortune she has a great job as a journalist and a sail

engaged to a guy who was perfect in nearly every way that sounds boring as

they leave the restaurant she spies a thin beard

homeless man she approaches him offers her bag of leftovers and his son stunned

when their eyes meet their stricken to her very core the man is the love of her

life kid McCallister huh when Kelly met Kay 10 years ago their

attraction was immediate and intense everything connected it felt right but

it all ended suddenly leaving her devastated now the poor soul on the

street is a faded version of her former beloved huh well that sounds interesting

and we have captivate the science of succeeding with people now I was looking

at this book and I was considering getting it about two months ago and I

just I I couldn't get it at the time but I have it now so says it's actually

supposed to be kind of cool it's it's all about like how you can like work

with people and like how to be more open and just confident so I think I think

this book will be good I'm really excited to to get through this book and

really kind of dig in and see what kind of stuff it's got I really like this but

we're gonna wait let's talk about formula 50 50 cent and this is gonna be

this is like different workouts and I think it goes through food and how to

build muscle and all that kind of stuff and you know like I have so many fitness

books but you can never have too many so I got this well we'll see what this has

to say because if you remember he lost a whole bunch of meat like really sickly

skinny and he like put all his muscle back on so I'm curious to see what the

book is gonna be all about all right another book that I got was the book of

dust now I think this is like a teenager type of book this is a like a junior

book I'm really not sure what it's about I have no idea

Malcolm pulse Ted is the kind of boy who notices everything

but as not much nudist himself blah blah blah

Malcolm's father runs and in called the trout no idea I'll read it because I

have it if I get to it he'll say all right then I got this book called house

the process is the inspiration and when I opened it and I started to like go

through the book I was just like oh my god this is so cool this is like

inspiration and you know different titles of logos and I just I really

liked it so I had to get it I mean look at some of this stuff I mean I just

opened up two random pages and there were so many cool things in here so I

got it to kind of go through and I think it'll be like a good coffee table book

if we ever get a coffee table so I had had to get that so that's kind of like a

my book haul for October the month is over I got some more books coming in

November so excited to share all that with you guys but uh but I wanted to I

was like I'll just wait I'll just do November and October together October

November together but yeah I figured that would be too much cuz we're already

like at some minutes at this point so all right we're gonna go ahead and end

this here I hope you guys enjoyed all the links to all the books will be down

below and as always you can always go to John Rambo's come check out my blog the

links will be there as well and that's it alright guys we'll see you

Liverpool 3 Huddersfield 0: Jurgen Klopp's men return to winning ways at Anfield - Duration: 6:50.

Liverpool 3 Huddersfield 0: Jurgen Klopp's men return to winning ways at Anfield

Wagner's Terriers, who ended Manchester United's unbeaten start to the season last weekend, comfortably held the Kop giants at bay for 50 minutes thanks to keeper Jonas Lossl's penalty save from Mo Salah.

But a brilliant finish from Sturridge broke their resistance less than five minutes after the break and Roberto Firmino and Georginio Wijnaldum clinched only Liverpool's second win in seven Premier League games.

The result had looked far from secure after a dreadful first half, watched by Mike Gordon, the president of club owners Fenway Sports Group.

Wagner, Klopp's best man and former youth team coach under him at Borussia Dortmund, had said he would park the bus as numerous visitors to Anfield had done before them with general success and he was true to his word with Town retreating into a 5-4-1 formation.

It had the desired effect in stifling what creativity Liverpool, without the injured Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Mane plus under-fire defender Dejan Lovren who sustained a thigh problem in the warm-up, could manage.

Sturridge bounced one attempt into the turf and onto the roof of the net while Salah and James Milner both presented Lossl with comfortable saves.

"The second one after a set-piece felt like Christmas" Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp Salah's spot-kick – awarded much to the general bemusement of Anfield after referee Kevin Friend spotted Tommy Smith tugging Firmino's shirt – was almost as comfortable as Salah blasted straight down the middle with Jordan Henderson driving the rebound wide off the left post.

It was Liverpool's 34th miss from the spot in the Premier League. No team has failed more times. Liverpool have now missed their last three penalties at Anfield with Milner, Firmino and Salah all guilty.

Salah had scored a crucial spot-kick to book Egypt's World Cup qualification but it was still strange that Milner, who has scored 10 of his last 11 penalties for the club, was not given the responsibility.

The boos at the end of a half in which Wagner's men had no shots and just 22 per cent possession, were not unanimous but were loud enough to send a message to the players.

But they were replaced by cheers and relief when Sturridge brilliantly clipped a shot over Lossl after right-back Smith headed the ball back into his own penalty area.

Sturridge reached his century in his 270th game, though his strike-rate for Liverpool is much better with 62 in 130.

The ex-Chelsea star was denied a second when Mathias Jorgensen slid in to prevent the England striker rolling Firmino's square pass into an open net but from the resulting corner the Brazilian headed in Milner's cross for his first league goal in two months.

Salah hit the post with a shot on the turn and Joel Matip headed wide from a corner but Wijnaldum blasted into the roof of the net to make it 3-0.

Klopp said it "felt like Christmas" as his players bounced back from their worst game of the season to win.

The 4-1 humiliation against Tottenham last Sunday brought criticism raining down on the Reds boss and his players but a return to winning ways eased some of the pressure. The German said: "We had not the best week.

We take the situation really seriously. It is really important. "Tottenham was the worst game we played in the season and you can't ignore it.

"The first goal here we forced the situation. The second one after a set-piece felt like Christmas. We had a lot of good set-pieces. "The third one was nice play.

The pressure was there. I could hear it. People didn't like the first half too much. "It was not too difficult to fix at half-time. We had more players between the decisive lines and it was more difficult for Huddersfield to defend.

"Three goals, three points, clean sheet." The result meant he got one up on Wagner and the Huddersfield boss accepted his side did not deserve much more having managed just one off-target shot.

But he was disappointed that his side could not capitalise on the feeling of anxiety at Anfield which played right into their hands.

"I would say at the end it was a fair result," he said. "Until the first goal we played defensively very well, we neutralised them.

I haven't seen Anfield so quiet until the first goal. "After we conceded the first we conceded the second from a set-play and Liverpool showed their offensive power.

"I am not sure if we are able to win the game because we hadn't any opportunities in the offence but we can take something for sure.

"We learned we are able to defend and not to give a lot of opportunities away even against the top guns but you have to make it from the first to the final whistle.

"If you give one small chance away, they will punish you." Wagner admitted it felt slightly odd to be up against his best friend in the Premier League. He added; "During the game it was totally normal.

Before and after the game it was a bit strange, yes. "I congratulate him and Liverpool for this win..

books but you can never have too many so I got this well we'll see what this has

to say because if you remember he lost a whole bunch of meat like really sickly

skinny and he like put all his muscle back on so I'm curious to see what the

book is gonna be all about all right another book that I got was the book of

dust now I think this is like a teenager type of book this is a like a junior

book I'm really not sure what it's about I have no idea
