Stronghold 2: Steam Edition - Workshop Winners - Duration: 2:47.

Welcome to another Firefly Studios video in which we will be taking you through

the winner, runner-up and honorable mention for our Stronghold 2 Steam Workshop competition.

This competition was put together to highlight the new Steam Workshop functionality for Stronghold 2 Steam

Edition which is available now of course all the maps you can subscribe to on the Steam Workshop page.

The links are in the description below.

First up we have our honorable mention which goes up to the Forgotten Cove by - wait for it -

an author by the name of IGotTheSquirts.

You can tell it deserves to be mentioned because we tried everything to avoid having to say that username.

IGotTheSquirts brings us one the best looking maps we've yet seen in Stronghold 2.

It features a gigantic bay, varied terrain and most importantly a natural aesthetic.

This is a three player map that is well balanced with plenty of space to build. Thanks, IGotTheSquirts.

There's also lots of resources and some cleverly placed passages to the surrounding estates

giving you a lot to work with while planning your castle structure and siege routes.

But that's enough from us, here's Mr. Squirt's description: Once the heartland to a mighty Kingdom

that has long since passed, this territory has since remained secluded and forgotten to the rest of the world.

Until now.

Recent news of bountiful resources discovered in the area has spurred nearby kingdoms to secure this Cove.

Will you be the next king of these long-forgotten lands?

The Forgotten Cove is designed for three player free-for-alls or 2v1 scenarios.

Next we have Acropole, our runner-up map designed by PewPew.

A remake of one of our favorite Maps from a certain other historical franchise,

Acropole sports a complex and tightly constructed valley and bridge system,

resulting in some intense close quarters combat.

This map also features what we like to call a Death Zone of an estate

placed in the dead center between each player. It's a map designed purely for an efficient, fast-paced

and chaotic PvP session with each player giving exactly the same positioning and resources.

We can see this map going down well in the Stronghold 2 history books as a community favorite.

Acropole is a versatile map that can be used for intense four player free-for-alls or cooperative 2v2 duels.

Last but not least is our winner. Everyone please put your hands together for The Lowlands

by our main man, once again, IGotTheSquirts.

A player who picks his username as carefully as he does his trees and terrain.

The Lowlands is a large map populated by dense forest and vast marshes.

We like this one because while we do love a good storm the hill, climb the towers, kill the Lord

and look down on all you have destroyed The Lowlands does what you'd imagine and offers lots of even ground

and open plains formassive armies to do battle with no clear advantage to either side.

That said, you can still just hide in your castle if you want.

Mr. Squirt gives us another well-written description to his map, so we'll end it with his words:

A land nestled between rolling valleys and nurtured by fresh water, this territory is no stranger to conflict.

It has the long since drawn the attention of kings and queens across the country

due to the rich soil that is ideal for agriculture. After the latest particularly

devastating flood, it is up to you to march forth and claim these lands for its rightful owner.

As with our runner-up, our winning map is designed for cooperative 2v2 play or forensic four-play action.

Huge thanks to IGotTheSquirts and PewPew and to everyone else who submitted a map for the competition

and as always, if you've got your own map, don't forget to drop it in the comments below

and we may feature it in an upcoming video.

Don't forget to like, share and subscribe. That would make me very happy.

And also tune in once a week for a new video from Firefly Studios.

Should Christians Celebrate Halloween? | Halloween and Christianity | GotQuestions.org - Duration: 3:32.

Question: "Should Christians celebrate Halloween?"

In this video I'll answer those questions from a biblical perspective.

Afterwards, I'll point you to some helpful resources, so stick around until the end.

Whether or not Christians should celebrate Halloween can be a very controversial topic.

Some Christians celebrate Halloween simply by dressing up in a costume and having fun,

seeing it as innocent and harmless.

Other Christians are equally convinced that Halloween is a satanic holiday established

to worship evil spirits and promote darkness and wickedness.

So, who is right?

Is it possible for Christians to celebrate Halloween without compromising their faith?

Halloween, no matter how commercialized, has almost completely pagan origins.

As innocent as it may seem to some, it is not something to be taken lightly.

Christians tend to have various ways to celebrate or not to celebrate Halloween.

For some, it means having an "alternative" Harvest Party.

For others, it is staying away from the ghosts, witches, goblins, etc., and wearing innocuous

costumes, for example, little princesses, clowns, cowboys, super-heroes, etc.

Some choose not to do anything, electing to lock themselves in the house with the lights off.

With our freedom as Christians, we are at liberty to decide how to act.

Scripture does not speak at all about Halloween, but it does give us some principles on which

we can make a decision.

In Old Testament Israel, witchcraft was a crime punishable by death.

The New Testament teaching about the occult is clear.

Acts 8:9-24, the story of Simon, shows that occultism and Christianity don't mix.

The account of Elymas the sorcerer in Acts 13:6-11 reveals that sorcery is violently

opposed to Christianity.

Paul called Elymas a child of the devil, an enemy of righteousness and a perverter of

the ways of God.

In Acts 16, at Philippi, a fortune-telling girl lost her demon powers when the evil spirit

was cast out by Paul.

The interesting matter here is that Paul refused to allow even good statements to come from

a demon-influenced person.

Acts 19 shows new converts who have abruptly broken with their former occultism by confessing,

showing their evil deeds, bringing their magic paraphernalia, and burning it before everyone.

So, should a Christian celebrate Halloween?

Is there anything evil about a Christian dressing up as a princess or cowboy and going around

the block asking for candy?

No, there is not.

Are there things about Halloween that are anti-Christian and should be avoided?

Absolutely!

If parents are going to allow their children to participate in Halloween, they should make

sure to keep them from getting involved in the darker aspects of the day.

If Christians are going to take part in Halloween, their attitude, dress, and most importantly,

their behavior should still reflect a redeemed life.

There are many churches that hold "harvest festivals" and incorporate costumes, but in

a godly environment.

There are many Christians who hand out tracts that share the Gospel along with the Halloween candy.

The decision is ultimately ours to make.

But as with all things, we are to incorporate the principles of Romans 14.

We can't allow our own convictions about a holiday to cause division in the body of

Christ, nor can we use our freedom to cause others to stumble in their faith.

We are to do all things as to the Lord.

When I'm getting used to a meaningless day

Just as I'm getting tired

I close my eyes and think of you

My heart is beating

And it's getting louder baby

Feels like half of my day is empty

I try to fill the bottom of my heart that won't be filled

Now I feel like before the sun up

When I've lost my way and I'm confused

When my head is pounding and I become tired

You hold my hand when I'm down

You embrace me warmly and tightly

I've always ran looking ahead

So when breathing is too much for me

Will you become my sky?

The sky is clear

Because of you

My world feels different

My day is rainy

No one else can see my sky

I was completely broken before I met you

Now I'm alright

Because you're somewhere I can reach

When I see you hiding in the clouds

When I've lost my way and I'm confused

When my head is pounding and I become tired

You take all my pain away

You heal my wounds with your touch

I've always ran looking ahead

So when reality hits me

Will you be my guidance?

The sky is clear

Because of you

My wold feels different

Look at the sky when you're happy

When you're struggling, let the rain fall on your painful half

My sky tomorrow will be filled with you

Just like now

just stay by my side

Look at me warmly like this

You wouldn't know this but

With only your existence

I breathe and feel alive

The sky is clear

There are no tears

Gigi Buffon interview - The Best FIFA Goalkeeper 2017 - Duration: 1:40.

It's been a really lovely evening. It's a great award. I'm happy

and proud because I think, and I hope, I've earned it. And at my

age it really means a lot to win an award like this.

It's recognition for goalkeepers in general; the first time this award has been given.

It's also important for a position that perhaps hasn't always been valued as much as it should.

Yes, yes, no question. It's important for many reasons.

The main one is probably the fact that from now on, and perhaps

for the last few years now, the goalkeeper is starting to be seen

as a position in the team that is as important and crucial

as that of a forward. At the end of the day, they're the two positions with the most

responsibility and which often determine if a team wins or loses.

I must thank all my team-mates and all my rivals for making

this lovely gesture to me. Like I said at the start, I think and

I hope I've deserved it. And it's lovely because it means that

hard work and the work I put in to get better and achieve

bigger and bigger objectives was rewarded in the end.

I'm very happy to have won, for the second year

running, a beautiful award, a new

award.

Obviously, I'd like to thank my team-mates, my

team-mates at Real Madrid,

the fans… It's a historic moment,

a very beautiful moment in my career and it's

one that I need to really savour

because you don't know what tomorrow will bring.

And I'm very happy.

This is the fifth time overall that you've been

voted the best player in the world. What does it mean

for you and your career? Where does it

put you among the greats of world

football? It's not just about winning

this award tonight, but like I said

my aim was to create a beautiful story

in the world of football and I've achieved that.

I've written my story.

Obviously, winning trophies and being one of the

players with the most individual trophies

in history is something that makes

me very proud.

Obviously, it's an amazing moment

in my life and it motivates me

to keep on playing football at the

highest level.

When you stop and think about

this season, which moment stands out

for you? Winning the Champions.

Is the motivation still there for you

and Real Madrid? In what way? Of course. I play for the best club in the world.

We've got the Club World Cup now

and that's obviously another trophy that we want to win.

We also had the Super Cup against

Manchester [United] and Barcelona too. It's a

club that gives you the chance to win

trophies every year, and it goes without saying

that I'm happy.

It's an honour for me to win this award.

I've never imaginedbeing in a position

to win this trophy. But now it's mine!

A lot of effort has gone into this, alot of work.

Yes, work. But I have to say that

it's thanks to my staff, because I honestly

wouldn't have been able to succeed without them. I'd like to thank the club, Real Madrid, who

have given me the chance to coach this team. And, above all, I'd like

to thank the players, because

it's down to the whole team, the whole group. This is mainly down to them.

You have won everything as a player and a coach.

What is the secret to your success?

I don't know. I think it's down to a lot of work, and

a lot of passion too. I love this sport.

It generates some amazing emotions. That's why the fans

love this sport, because of the emotions it generates.

When I was a player I made the most

of everything that happened to me, and it's the same now that I'm a coach.

The passion is still there. Long may it last!

I'm very honoured at everything you say.

It's something... It's special for me

to receive this trophy, which means a lot to me, and especially

in front of these football legends on the stage here.

It's an honour to go down in history with that goal, a goal that is going to

stay with people. It's an honour to win this trophy and I'm going to cherish it. I'm very happy, and I'm happy for the

team too, which did so much to help me score the

goal. I'd like to dedicate it to my whole family and to my

father in particular. Can you practice goals like this in training or is it just a question of reflexes?

No, it's instinctive.

The ball was a bit behind me in this case and

I decided that the best chance I had of getting a

shot away on goal, if you can call it a shot, was to use my

heel, to hit it with my heel, with the side of my foot to be more exact.

It's a bit of a one-off, and I sometimes try

bicycle-kicks or overhead-kicks in training. I can tell you, though, that

even I was surprised when I saw the ball

hit the back of the net, via the underside of the bar too.

Everything came together to make it a fantastic goal. I'm very much a believer

and I think there was some divine intervention

with that goal. You mentioned training. Do you think you can work

on that type of skill in training too?

Not with that type of thing. Not really! You can end up looking

pretty silly if you mess it up. But I do like

trying acrobatic tricks. That particular one

definitely came off, though there was a bit of luck involved. I got

my balance right too, though. And, to be honest, you need to be

flexible as well. To sum up, I'm very happy

and I'm proud to have won this trophy this evening.

Is A Million Dollars Enough To Retire? How Much Money Do I Need To Retire - Duration: 3:43.

Can you retire on a million dollars? I mean, how much money really is that?

How far can that go? I'm Kris Krohn and today on Limitless TV, we're gonna explore

that question and find out what kind of retirement you're really gonna need to

live the life that you want.

A million dollars, a million dollars. Oh my gosh, I'm rolling in the money, rolling

in the money! A million dollars is not what it used to be, right? It's like, oh my

gosh, I want to win the lottery if I had a million dollars, what could I do?

Just pause and think about it for a moment, call your financial planner up if you

have one and say, I got a million dollars, what are my options?

and you know what he's gonna say, hmm we should put that in an annuity, get it to

produce three or four percent a year. Okay what's three percent of a million

dollars? It's 30 grand. What is that? Like less than three thousand dollars a month?

That's like 2,500 a month. Can you retire on 2,500 a month? No you can't retire on

2,500 a month, you're a millionaire, what are you doing with $2,500 a month?

You know what you do instead? Now you take that $2,500 a month and you have to pull

off some of the principal, pull five grand out every month, five grand out

every month because now I got 75 hundred I'm feeling pretty good except a few

years later, guess what you've done. You've been eroding your wealth as if

you can plan your d-day, death day. So there's got to be a different

alternative and that's what we're here to talk about and let me kick it off

with this idea first. A million dollars is not what it used to be but a million

dollars sitting in real estate even just paid off,

I could buy six paid off homes producing $1,200 a month each, I'd be sitting over

$7,000 a month an income, it's 85,000 dollars a year, it's not quite six

figures but guess what? I'm crushing it compared to the financial markets.

Now that's just the basic concept, you want to know what you could really do with a

million dollars in real estate? That's what I'm gonna show you next.

So if a million dollars could buy you a bunch of paid off free and clear properties, guess

what a million could also do. It could buy you 20 to 25 leveraged properties

and those leveraged properties will probably have a cash flow, very similar

to the paid off homes but here's the difference,

if I buy 25 homes with twenty or forty thousand dollars of equity each,

then guess what those homes will do when I sell that next batch. It will have taken

my first million and I'll turn it into two million dollars, you'll have

doubled your investment. How sexy is that? That's what leverage in real estate does,

it's time to pay things off and be free and clear when you have enough money to

produce the residual income that you want and that's really what the math

comes down to. Million dollars is not enough to retire on in the financial

markets. A million dollars in real estate can get you pretty close to a six-figure

income on paid off free and clear property and a million dollars is

certainly enough to catapult into your next million super-easy through

leveraged real estate. Bottom line is, when you can scroll it all up and bundle

it and wrap it into paid off property with enough residual income that meets

your liking for today and what your lifestyle needs will be a decade or two

from now, that's when you're ready to retire and that's how you do it.

I love helping create millionaires and keep on watching these videos and subscribe

because if you're seriously committed to your financial future, we're definitely

going to drop some nuggets on you, both in the mindset and the real estate

that's gonna help you get there.

3 Indian Gluten Free Roti/ Indian Bread l Winter Special Indian Roti Recipes l Reallife Realhome - Duration: 12:08.

In today's video I will be showing you three very healthy Gluten Free Indian Bread/ Roti Recipes

The first Bread is made from Chickpea flour also called as Besan.

I have 2 cups of chickpea flour. In that I am adding salt, red chilly powder, asafoetida, dry fenugreek leaves, 1tbsp oil, 1.5 tbsp Yogurt. We will make the dough with the help of warm water. The dough will be sticky so if you want add a little oil and some rice flour to it.

Once the dough is ready let it rest for few minutes and then start preparing rotis

I will use rice flour for dusting

Take some dough and make a ball out of it. Then roll it first with the help of your hands as shown and only after that use rolling pin.

After its done carefully transfer it to hot griddle.

Cook it on both sides and then tansfer it to a grill.

Ready to be served with some pickle, yogurt or dry curry

The second Bread is Jowar Roti or Sorghum Roti ( made out of Sorghum Flour- Highly nutritious)

We will make the dough as shown by using hot water.

Use little by little and keep kneading as shown

Whenever you are using Gluten free flour its always better to make it fresh.

Knead the dough with the help of palm

Take a ziploc bag . cut it into a rectangle and grease it. and then make the roti as shown

use sourghum flour only for dusting

You can also directly make it on your kitchen island but you need to have a little practise for it

Transfer on griddle and sprinkle some water

Let it cook on one side and turn it over . After that put on the grill until cooked

Third is Cornflour Bread. Here I have 1 cup cornflour , some chopped cilantro leaves, carom seeds and salt. Mix everything and with the help of warm water make dough

Make roti with the help of ziploc bag as Bread no 2

Use some clarified butter to roast on both sides.

Pontus beat audience record at Galärparken - Duration: 5:08.

- My name is Pontus Olgrim and I'm an actor, that's why I'm here.

I was born in 1975 and am 41 years old.

My path began in Australia, of all places.

I studied there and later on I also worked a couple years.

Mainly stage productions at that time.

But hey, I still do that!

But I didn't realize how big the Australian film and TV industry was before I moved from there.

I was mostly into stage productions in Australia.

I joined "Gåsmamman" and did a great little part in it.

And then it started rolling with parts in "Enkelstöten", "Agenterna", "Hassel" etc.

And then last summer... it's actually a project of its own...

I started an international, English-speaking theater company together with three actors.

Last year we did our very first performance at Parkteatern here in Stockholm.

We beat the audience record at Galärparken actually.

There were 2100 in the audience at the premiere.

Other stages like Vitabergsparken take in more people but for Galärparken it was a record.

We had an international director for the production and it was a great show.

Last week I did a casting for a big American production. For one of the bigger parts in it.

I still don't know if I got it.

But the casting director gave me instant feedback... I have a new agent in London since three weeks.

It was this agent that fixed this casting.

I had to make a selftape, they sent me a text and I taped it myself.

I sent it and a few hours later the casting director called from the US...

...and said "I'm very impressed with your commitment and I'm very impressed with your audition."

And that's nice! But I have no clue yet if I got the part or not.

But that was my last casting.

In one way it's hard and in one way it's easy. You just have to film yourself until you're satisfied.

The hard thing is that you don't get feedback from the casting director.

So you just have to cvome up with something that you're satisfied with.

Even if you get a "no" I still want to be able to say I did it exactly like I wanted.

Otherwise you will only be upset.

My tip is to be prepared, to be very well prepared.

To be yourself as much as you can.

I use to say that I let the part play me.

It sounds weird but I try to use as much of myself as possible in the part.

They've asked me to audition since there is something in my appearance, my energy or my radiance that they want.

So I'm trying to be me as much as possible.

So, be well-prepared, know your lines, and prepare a few different variations.

They usually ask you to do something completely different from what you just did the first time.

Everybody who sees this must come and watch us play "A Midsummer Night's Dream" at Parkteatern this summer.

We will do nine shows at different places in Stockholm.

Don't miss out! It's an international production and director.

Same production as we did last year and was warmly received by both critics and the audience.

Pozyskiwanie klientów i osiąganie wysokiej konwersji - historia Booksy - Duration: 2:14.

We're a provider of a reservation system aimed at the health & beauty industry, letting you book a visit online.

Booksy was originally launched in Poland, however, our main market is the US.

So far, we've done most of our marketing via Facebook.

- We were weighing up options, looking for tools that might work for us. On one hand, we wanted to find quality databases,

on the other, we were wondering what to do with the leads we didn't manage to convert.

- Our target rarely ever uses email so we assumed early on this channel isn't worth paying attention to,

isn't worth paying attention to, because there may be better ways for us to operate.

What we're interested in isn't whether someone opened the email,

but whether they subscribed.

- Michał Rokosz, our COO, mentioned to me on one occasion

that there's this company dealing in cold emails and maybe

we should send them a bunch of our leads for starters and see what they can squeeze out of them.

- RightHello was up for the task and used its know-how to work the database we provided.

We send them the contacts, listed a couple of key selling points, and the rest was taken care of.

The way I see it, everything went smoothly.

We approached this project as a quick, affordable test,

in order to see if expansion into this channel makes sense at all.

- When I first saw the 30% conversion...

I thought I must be mistaken.

- Cold emailing proved to be way more efficient than I expected, especially in comparison to other marketing channels.

This whole test we ran with RightHello has translated into a couple of extra clients every month.

After the trial run, we now continue monthly campaigns with RightHello

to expand our database.

It's safe to say we're satisfied.

Based on our experience, we can definitely say that

cold emailing done the RightHello way is easy to implement and

can generate really nice results.

REACTING TO MY OLD HAIRCOLORS & HAIRSTYLES - Duration: 10:16.

Oh, I should have maybe done something to my hair for this video...

Hello! Today I thought we'd look at photos of different hair colors and hairstyles I've had through the years

In a video a few days ago I revealed that I'm not actually a natural blonde. This is as fake as it gets.

I'm really sorry. As one of you commented I've now revealed that not all Nordic people are blonde.

Although you all of course only know me as someone who has long blonde hair,

I've actually had quite a lot of different colors, hairstyles and...different kinds of artistic...

I don't even know what to call them...Artistic thoughts about my hair and what it should look like

So now, let's get started. I've made a little folder on my computer and tried to chose hairstyles from -- well all kinds

And we'll start off in the year 2004. This is when I've just started high school.

Ok... This is 16 year old me.

This is pretty much my natural haircolor I'd dare say.

But it looks a bit fuller bodied than normal, I think at the roots you can see the mouse-colored color

that a lot of Nordic people have.

Okay, first of all I want to say that my nose is red because it's in the middle of winter and it's cold.

And I was also a bit sick which might explain why my makeup looks the way it does

This hairstyle.... I have to say this might be one of the worst ones that I know I've had.

These are my own cut bangs that you can see here. Perhaps you could have guessed.

because of how great it looks. But -- oh no, I think on the right you can see how the scissors have gone

It doesn't get more pose-y than this... This is Valborg 2005.

And here I've evidently started to get the bangs to kind of -- wasn't it a bit popular, to have bangs

that were kind of swept over your forehead, I think. Can we pretend that's the case anyway?

Oooh, I loved those earrings, it said 'fabulous' in them or something like that.

Ok, I think we should do a fashion review as well at some point

This was a period when I liked to wear several tops on top of each other

so that there were lots of colors, I wore quite colorful clothes

Then...

Here we have 'Business Cat'

This photo is taken on the top of the Empire State Building

I think I had maybe colored my hair in the previous photo, it looks really dark

So here my natural color is showing more, this is in the summer so it's maybe a bit sun bleached

And the hair... is what it is...

I have quite wavy hair, even though you wouldn't believe it now because I've just blow-dried it

The shorter my hair is the more you see the waviness, so here you can see the ends are like

-- they don't really now where to go

Here! Now 1,5 years have gone by. The bangs are gone. Thank God! And here I had started highlighting my hair

But that color didn't want to go through the lengths, I don't know why as you can see it's blond and then

redish-brown at the ends

Not really a winner for me but...

Then -- oh no...

No this was maybe the worst phase in my life... hair wise.

Can I just say that the year was 2007, and we were on Mallorca with my girlfriends.

Oh my god, I think it's like 5 cm high, this little bulge - I don't know what to call it

Why didn't anyone tell me that it looked insane?? And my make up and plastic pearls...

Okay. Now now now we move on, these nothing we can say to help

Oh my god, my hair is so golden colored -- it's the same color as my gold necklace I'd dare say

This is the same day that I had, for the first time colored my entire hair blonde and it turned out quite golden

This is the color tones that I don't think suit me at all, I much prefer a bit colder tones as I have now

Catastrophe, catastrophe, catastrophe!

Onwards!

This is a hair color that I can get behind and I think, oh my god, this is completely unstyled but it must have been

cut quite well - a bit perhaps Rachel circa 1995

but still it looks quite healthy - this is a bit less than a year later

and then I had colored it back to brown because that blonde hair felt like it was in a very bad state.

because when you dye your hair you add a layer to it but when you go blonde it strips a layer off by bleaching it

So it strains the hair a lot so here I had dyed it brown to try to help my hair -- I obviously don't care about that anymore

Now I just go ahead and destroy my hair. But that's neither here nor there.

So now I had colored it proper chocolate brown

I have to say that this was the color I felt really comfortable in - then.

Now it's not at all - we'll get to that.

But -- and obviously I'm done up for a party and... I don't know, it's way too curly as well.

Then. Whoopsie.

Then I cut my hair... why did I do it? I don't really remember

But this I did the day before I went home for Christmas the first year in Kingston

I think, now looking back, that it was perhaps a bit of a cry for help, this haircut...

I don't think I liked it very much there, I was a bit miserable but again, that's not for this video

What next?

Then I wanted to be blonde again so you might recognize this golden haircolor from before

So here I had again just put blonde color through my entire hair and this was summer 2009

after the first year at Kingston.

Then. Ooooh. Oh.

Here I have completely blonde hair and I think this color looks really good I have to say

It's somehow a bit better than this one. And here my hair was perhaps to there

you can't see it so well but it was to there about

Now I kind of want to cut my hair again... Then!

Okay..

You know what?

No there's nothing I can say, I can't defend this hairstyle at all

I don't know what it is about bangs that I'm so fascinated about and seriously, like yesterday

I sat and thought 'maybe I should cut bangs?'

I just can't do it. This was such a bad choice and this hairstyle didn't live very long let me tell you

It became...

Then I became a brunette again!

Why??

I don't know if I was trying to better the bangs situationby dying it brown

but that didn't work at all, I remember I was like 'this doesn't work' so here I've started doing the classic

'Cat Peterson swept bangs' again evidently

Oh my gosh you can see on the left how thick the old bangs are piled

I mean what a...mess.

Terrible! Terrible! Terrible!

Ok, so that was the end of the bangs and here...

I don't know what kind of photo this is... ummm so here we had started puttng in highlights again

And this, I would dare say, is actually a year and a half later.

So this... is what it looked like... and what happened then?

Then we got really blonde -- and this! This photo is taken the same night that I first talked to Dave on Tinder

And this hair is the hair that I still strive to get back; the length -- oh my god, it was below the chest I think

and it was so thick and nice and...somewhat healthy even though it might look a bit crummy to you

but for me it was the dream hair

So this was in the spring of 2014

Then...

Urgh... This I regret the most.

I had unfortunately gone to a hairdresser and she had put in such white highlights

-- or gray, I don't even know what to call that color but she completely destroyed my hair.

So I went home and dyed it myself not only once but twice, in two days.

And... it was some kind of chemical reaction or something that gave my hair a green-ish tint

It was so awful. Then I was just like f*ck it, I'll dye it brown.

And this was the end result.

But ok, we'll move on and see what happened next

Then I got a little blonde in it once again

At the end of 2014

So then I had, as I said, gotten a bit of blonde put in and started feeling a bit more like myself

And thennn... finally!

I got my blonde hair back.

This photo was taken just as I came back from the hairdresser and then I had gotten my hair chopped off

Yeah, that's when it happened, when I lost my mane to about there

And this was how long ago? Almost two and a half years ago, so I guess it's managed to grow quite well

And then, we are back to current time!

I wish my hair always looked like that... but it doesn't unfortunately.

So now you've seen all hair colors and hair cuts and hairstyles that I've had ever since 2004

So... almost 14 years!

I don't know how you feel but I'm absolutely exhausted.

Thanks so much for watching this video, I hope you enjoyed it!

As always please give it a thumbs up if you liked it, it makes me so happy!

And take care and we'll see each other soon again! Bye!

The Story of My Life by Sri. Vethathiri Maharishi CHAPTER 13 Tragedy & Bereavement - Duration: 6:56.

CHAPTER - 13 TRAGEDY & BEREAVEMENT

Something unforgettable happened when I was twenty two.

I had a friend who was very close to me.

His name was .Narayanasami.

He lived in the house opposite to mine.

He was a student of P.S.

High school, studying tenth standard.

We used to go to the sea shore, with a few student friends, in the evenings.

From Mandaiveli, where we lived, the distance was only half a mile.

In summer we were in the habit of bathing in the sea every day, and returning home before

seven o' clock.

On the day, the other friends were sitting on the sand, while we two, Narayanasami and

I stepped into waters of the Bay of Bengal.

Fifteen minutes went by.

"That will do.

Come along, Narayana!"

I called him.

The waves were particularly high that day.

They lifted us to a height of about six feet and then set us down again. The sensation was

pleasant as if we were on a swing devised for us by Nature!

When I called my friend, there was a big wave.

He saw it.

"This is the last wave.

We shall enjoy it", he said, "and then go home".

That giant wave lifted us to a very great height indeed.

When it withdrew, we found ourselves a few yards further into the sea.

We couldn't fix our feet.

We tried floating and swimming.

No good.

Somehow I managed to draw nearer to the shore by about ten feet.

Then my feet just touched the bed.

I found the current still strong like a whirlpool of sorts.I strained every nerve and quickly

reached the shore.

I noticed Narayanasami struggling still in the water.

I told my friends to fetch someone to help my friend, pointing out that he was in danger.

I made a sort of long rope tying together our clothes that were left on the shore and

stepped into the sea again.

I waded in as far as I could manage with steadiness and flung the cloth rope to him.

He stretched his hands in an effort to catch it.

The rope was short by some ten feet.

I went a few feet further into the water.

Hard luck!

The same whirlpool was now after me!

To extricate myself, I swam and swam.

One precious minute and then I touched the bed again.

I turned round to see Narayanan.

Only the fingers of one of his hands were visible for a few moments, above the surface.

Then those too disappeared.

My grief was inconsolable.

The closest among my friends, dear to me as life itself, with whom I spent all my free

time was no more.

The sea had swallowed him.

Why should I alone live?

Why not I too share the watery grave with him?

"Alas!

Narayana!

You have forsaken me", I cried.

The urge was irresistible to plunge forever into the depths of the sea.

Then my Mother seemed to stand before me.

And my Father.

I could only wail and weep.

I turned round.

There were two fishermen running up with my friends.

I pointed out to them the spot where my friend was seen last.

The fishermen dived and swam and searched, surfaced, and dived and searched again.

My friend could nowhere be found.

One whole hour we spent like that.It was helf past seven when we started back home.

On the way we reported the matter to the police.

We then handed over Narayanan's clothes at his house and sobbed out what had happened

to him.

His sister's screams of terror on grasping the tragedy still resound in my ears.

Her lamentations and her grief were such that the scene haunts me even today when I think

of the tragedy.

Her brother went for a bath at the sea at five.

At half past seven she heard that he was dead.

What indeed could be a sister's shock and reaction to such an end?

The body was recovered the next day near the Harbour.

I can never get over this pain of parting to the last.

The loss of my friend seared my heart whenever the thought recurs.

I try to console myself as best as I can, under a heavy load of grief.

He is there, safe and secure, beyond the trials and tribulations of life.

Caught in their grip, should I really mourn his passing?

I too shall get such deliverance one day.

I started thinking like this and returned slowly to my daily round of tasks and labours.

The period after I had completed twenty two, was a turning point in my life in more ways

than one.

There was a bolt from the blue one day.

I got a message from home, saying that my Father was ill with fever and that his condition

was critical.

I planned to apply for leave the next day and go to Guduvancheri and to my duty, attending

on my Father in all the ways I could.

But early the next morning news reached me that he had passed away.

I could not bear the shock.

I burst out crying at the very spot where I stood at the time I heard the news.

There was an elderly gentleman living in the house opposite.

He felt the utmost sympathy for me and took me to his house.

Both he and his wife did their best to console me.

Looking at him, I wept again, saying, "O!

I have lost my Father, I have lost my Father!"

"My dear Vethathiri!", he said.

"Don't take this to heart so much.

I shall myself be your father and do all that should be done.

We have two sons, you know.

You will be our third son".

I was comforted a little by their kind assurances.

I went to my native village and performed the obsequies.

That was my first big bereavement.

I returned to Mylapore, and settled in my former ....routine again.

YouTube Creator Day in Stockholm and Q&A about our channel - Duration: 13:45.

Hey, I'm driving and Joanna's holding the camera. We're on our way to our first YouTube creator day.

YouTube invites creators with more than 1000 subs to meet in Stockholm.

We're also going to answer your questions about our youtube-channel in this video. We have quite a few.

We're here now. I'm going to tell you something we usually say at the end of our videos.

Please subscribe to our channel.

We always have more views than subscribers and that's great but it would be even better if you all subscribed.

The more we know about you guys the better content we can create.

Exactly. Let's head in.

Join us!

It's already started in there.

What's happening now?

We play Bingo. We have to ask questions to other creators to fill out this form.

We're doing it to get to know each other.

Hi, what channel do you have?

Put me in that box.

It's time for lunch. We've heard some interesting speakers so far.

Let's have some pizza.

Dania Nijam, Stina, Maja and William Carlson are all asking when we started our YouTube channel?

We filmed our first vlog at Christmas last year.

We published the video in Januari 2017 and it can still be found on our channel.

We thought it was a great idea to publish a video about Christmas after Christmas.

Not so smart, we had no idea what we were doing. We've learned a lot since then.

Lisa TG and Idris Hagberg is asking how we started?

With a camera in our hand and blushing cheeks. In the beginning we felt embarrassed talking into the camera.

But it didn't take long before we felt more comfortable. We read comments and realized

that people were watching. Then it started to feel as if we were talking to someone.

Right, it was easier when we got comments. Then I realized that someone was there. You are there!

A whole bunch of people is wondering why we started a YouTube channel?

In the beginning it was just for us. We wanted to store our family videos somewhere.

So our children could have all their memories in one place.

We filmed the kids a lot and thought lets put it on YouTube, it's free and accessible from everywhere.

Joanna was editing our videos and then all of a sudden we had our channel.

I think you can see this in our first vlog. We don't interact with the viewers because it's just a video for us.

All our old videos are still on the channel. If you watch and comment on them we can see it.

It starts again.

Creator Day is over. Everyone is walking around with their cameras.

Hey! Emma and Konrad right? Hi my name is Joanna. We had a comment the other day asking if we knew you.

You do now!

That's fun, I'm happy to meet you.

We've filmed in a studio so we missed most of the day.

Oh no.

It was nice meeting them.

It's a lot of fun to meet all these characters.

Characters and creators.

Oh, it's cold.

We're in the car. We're going to pick up the kids.

With lights on our foreheads.

Who or what made you start the channel?

Yeah, it was because of me.

To go from viewer to creator was Joannas suggestion.

I thought that you were going to say no, but you didn't.

Yeah, I thought. Why not? Let's give it a try.

Sanna is asking: Are companies asking you for collaborations?

Yes, it started recently. But we mostly say no. We can promise you one thing.

We will never do collaborations with companies or products we wouldn't normally use.

Absolutely not. This is our personal family channel that we started for our children.

We still have that in mind when we do our vlogs. We don't want to sell ourselves. That's important to us.

It got too dark yesterday. It's morning and we're at home in our sofa.

Drinking coffee.

Don't move that cup around it will make noise.

I'll hold it.

We continue with your questions about YouTube. Several viewers have asked:

How much money do you make from YouTube?

Not that much.

No we don't.

We're not doing it for the money.

There are some videos around telling you exactly how much money you get/1k views. We'll post a link.

Rikardo Tv is asking: What do you love the most with your channel?

To be able to go back and see how the kids have grown.

Yeah, all the memories.

Malin and Camilla is wondering which vlog is our favorite?

The one where Harry's playing in the snow.

That one's so old. But lovely.

My favorite is swimming with turtles.

That's good. And a day at Redang Island.

I love the vlog from the temple in Malaysia.

Alma likes the vlog from Batu Caves.

I just love when Harry's chasing Superman at Pulau Redang.

Wilmer is asking what keeps us going and why we keep entertaining our viewers?

The contact with you guys. It gives us so much energy.

We get so much love from you and fantastic comments. You're the reason we keep going.

Lin & Liz is asking: What's the worst thing with YouTube?

That you can't search in your comment box. It's so hard to find old comments.

I can't see if one viewer has asked the same thing on several videos.

It's annoying for us since we have the viewer "Question of the day".

Sometimes comments get lost. And we have to put a text, as you've seen earlier in this video.

Another thing that I find though is that we are in the hands of someone else.

Since we don't own the platform where we post videos.

Put this on. Ok.

That's right, YouTube does.

Harry wants me to wear a Frozen necklace.

Nice.

Ella is asking if we ever thought of closing down our channel?

Yes we have, several times.

It's quite a lot of work but you get a lot back. Sometimes more and sometimes less.

The times when you don't get as much back can be hard.

We know what it's like to post videos that no one watches.

And it's hard to find the energy when you post a video that you think is great and no one sees it.

It gets easier when your channel grows and people are watching your videos.

Nourddine Amrani is asking: What's your goal with YouTube?

I don't know.

It's a good question. We should be thinking about this.

We want to keep creating good videos. We want to develop and make better videos.

Maybe work a bit less than full time and give more time to the channel.

That takes us to the next question. Fs fs is asking if we want to work full time with our channel?

Yes.

Really?!

Yes, but I think we'd need more than one channel to survive.

I like my job but I could see myself working less hours to spend more time with the family and our channel.

We have to take the kids to preschool now. We haven't got time for all your questions.

And we have more regarding YouTube so we'll answer them in our next vlog.

We will make a part two.

Stay tuned. And don't forget to give us a thumbs up or down.

Comment, subscribe and post questions.

I just thought to myself, have we answered the "Question of the day"...?

Take care until next time. Bye!

Let's go Hunting, Son Invitation | Iowa DNR - Duration: 0:31.

All of my friends know I love to go deer hunting in the fall.

But here's something that would surprise them.

One of my favorite people to hunt with is my mom.

When I ask her, "Hey, Let's Go Hunting," she always makes time to go.

Mom started hunting as an adult because she said she wanted to do something outdoors

that our whole family can enjoy.

I mean, I AM pretty good company.

Seriously though, she has become an avid hunter over the years,

and has taught me a lot.

It's pretty great that she hangs out with me

doing something we both love to do.

It's all about the invitation.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders Lies Again, Says Ignore The Manafort Indictment And Focus On Democrats - Duration: 3:33.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders, following the announcement of the indictments against Paul Manafort and

Richard Gates, had to give her usual Monday press briefing and, of course, people wanted

what the White House was saying about the indictments.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders basically did what you would expect her to do, and didn't actually

address the real elephant in the room and, instead, tried to deflect all of the attention

onto something else.

Take a look.

Counsel.

But look, today's announcement has nothing to do with the President, has nothing to do

with the President's campaign or campaign activity.

The real collusion scandal, as we've said several times before, has everything to do

with the Clinton campaign, Fusion GPS and Russia.

There's clear-

That's right, folks, don't look at the fact that members of the Trump campaign had to

turn themselves in to the FBI yesterday.

Don't look at that, don't focus on that.

It's all still about the Clintons and the Democrats and Obama and the Podestas.

That's the real collusion scandal because, somehow, in the eyes of Republicans, the Democrats

colluded with Russia to lose the 2016 election.

I'm not exactly sure how that logic works but, trust me, people who know nothing about

politics are saying that today and yesterday, and for the last week, really.

It takes a special kind of mental defect to think that any of that, any of this uranium

story or any of the Fusion GPS, totally legal story, has anything to do with anything in

the world right now.

Sure, the Podesta brother may get investigated.

He may go to prison.

I don't care if he does, kind of hope he does.

Same thing with John Podesta.

But that's not bigger than what's happening with the Trump Administration.

It wasn't colluding with a foreign power for any kind of political gain, not like what

the Trump Administration did, so I'm sick and tired of hearing people, especially coming

from Sarah Huckabee Sanders, saying that we should be focusing on the Democrats.

Huckabee Sanders has proven in her short time as press secretary that she is somehow more

morally corrupt and incompetent than Sean Spicer.

She has risen to the level of number one liar of the Trump Administration in a way that

Sean Spicer could never have dreamed of.

No wonder that guy got kicked out of the Administration in favor of Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

That is some world class mental linguistic gymnastics that she is doing, that somehow

convinced the American public that we should still be pissed off at the Clintons.

That is who the Trump campaign is still running against, and that is who Republicans still

view as Public Enemy Number One.

This is a calculated deflection on the part of the White House, but it's just one that

anybody with even half a brain shouldn't be buying into right now.

Moira O'Hara SFX Make Up | Halloween Special | AHS - Duration: 5:29.

Hey and nice that you are back again, today I want to show you my first ever Halloween/Cosplay/SFX Make Up

and it will be Moira from American Horror Story with the shot eye look, of course you can drop this part

at first I will show you how I did the wound

I used liquid latex but one of them is quite viscous

then you need red color, I have this cream color but I used a palette with water activated color, then I used a black cream color and fake blood

different sponges to apply the liquid latex

then you need some paper like tissues or toilet paper to make the wound look real

and at least you need a black opaque tights

at first I cut out a small circle from the tights that has the same size like my eye

and then I started to apply the liquid latex to build a circle, you can see that baking paper is useful because the latex don't stick on it

at the beginning I used the very liquid latex and applied it with a sponge but that didn't work very well and took to much time

later I used the viscous latex, you can see that it's also brighter and has a better coverage

then you start to apply the paper and always use a coat of latex so you have more structure

I recommend to let it dry overnight

so let's continue with the make up, I already used my foundation and concealer

so I just use a little bit blush, at next I fill in my eyebrows, not that much because they are already quite thick and dark

then I apply a white eyeshadow, this one is a metallic eyeshadow from essence

and then I used a light brown, I also used it for my eyebrows because in the show she has brown eyebrows and then used it for the crease

also I used some brown eyeshadow under the waterline

then I draw a very thin eyeliner, you can see that she is wearing a little bit eyeliner but I couldn't resist and had to make a small wing

then I used black kajal on my waterline and I recognized that I didn't use mascara so I catched up on it later

then I started to put on the wound to see if it fits, it's important to apply vaseline on your eyebrow when you use liquid latey around your eye

so it wasn't necassary to put on make up on your eyebrow

and you can see that you should close your eyes when you work with liquid latex in that area

then you just have to stick on the wound and it works very well and then you use the latex again with some paper

I tried to blend it a little bit to the bottom, I don't know if it was sucessful

then I started to apply some make up, at first it looks quite yellow/brown but it's just to cover the white

at first I used the red cream color but later I used the water-activated color because it was more easy to use and it didn't destroy the latex

at the moment it doesn't look very well because the red is pretty light

at next I used the black cream color and tried to blend it into the red, I used water to mix in the colors

at least I used fake blood and applied it everywhere especially on the parts that were still white

as I already mentioned this was my first SFX Make Up so it's not really perfect but this would be a method to create a wound with liquid latex

so you can see that I put on a very simple make up on the one side and the bloody wound on the other side

and this was my outfit, of course a garter belt, just simple pumps and my dress from EMP

if you liked this video feel free to subscribe to my channel or leave some nice feedback, I hope I will see you next time again, bye

His sister's screams of terror on grasping the tragedy still resound in my ears.
