We present the Xlidercam-M, from the well-known brand Kietacam.
A high precision motorized slider that
we configure in its entirely through a tablet.
A detail that we love is that we can power it on by battery,
which will give us absolute freedom.
With a length of 120cm, this slider is supported on its slip legs or
by placing tripods on the ends.
Something fundamental that made us decide for it, are their 2 motorized axis
that can work independently or simultaneously, achieving
more complex camera movements a priori.
In addition, it has a third axis in the vertical that is adjusted manually.
It offers a great versatility to use camera bodies of up to 10kg, as disparate as
a 5D, a Sony FS7 or even an Alexa Mini.
Of course, our recommendation is to mount camera configurations as compact as possible,
to avoid vibrations and achieve the desired result.
Its speed is another point to take into account, being able to travel the stretch in just
4 seconds and slow it down in 24h. What will delight lovers of the timelapse.
In addition, through the tablet, we can configure aspects as important as the curve
of acceleration and braking, speed changes in real time or pan of up to 180 degrees.
