Youtube daily report Mar 20 2018

Yeah yeah, ciao ciao, we'll talk again later, bye

Then if you would please transfer these numbers over? We'll see each other in the morning.

Have you heard? AllMedia's stock is falling. Word has probably hit the street that you're out of the hospital again.

== Or they've just discovered that you're intervening again. == Ouch, that was mean!

Sooner or later I'm going to be CEO of Beyenbach AllMedia again, count on it

Maybe you should try going into therapy

Once I'm Carla von Lahnstein's husband, I'm going to finish you off

You are her fiance. You have yet to become her husband.

Go ahead and start looking around for a new job

If I were you, I wouldn't talk too big

Don't lose any sleep over me. Nothing can happen to me, I have the better connections.

By that do you mean Carla?

Of course. Who else?!

I wouldn't count on that. To my knowledge, my sister Hanna has a far better connection to Carla than you do.

Excuse me, I have something very important to discuss with my sister

Be my guest

Oh, by the way, uhm... whatever you meant by "good connection to" - YOU in any case are not one of that circle

Hanna

Sylvia, please!

You cannot tell anyone that Carla is engaged to Bernd just for show. If that gets out, that affects Carla and me.

I would finally have something I could hold over that criminal!

So Bernd became her fiance out of sheer avarice

If the Count discovers that, he'll throw him out of the castle on his ear!

That may be, but Count Lahnstein would be FAR more shocked if he discovered that his daughter is in a relationship with a woman

== Sylvia, you promised me you'd keep quiet! == I know.

And I will, too

Hanna, you're the last person I want to harm now

It... it really means a great deal to me that we've finally made peace with each other

And not the slightest hint of her illegal schemes? What did you guys do the whole time?

Ate... and talked about operas

Did you have any idea that... uh, Tanja von Anstetten is quite well-versed in that arena?

Oh, and you think that topic is suitable for sounding her out?

Well Charlie, how else do you picture it? I mean...

..."Ms. von Anstetten, why don't you tell me a bit about your illegal schemes, the crooked deals?" I mean--

Hello!

Ah, Hanna!

== Charlie, such a rare guest! == Hello. Nice to see you. How are you?

Well, better and better every day. Are you being well taken care of here?

Yes. Don't tell me you're already back at work again?

== Yeah well, I have a new kidney and I'm totally back in the saddle. == Well, take care of yourself.

== Oh, Hanna, will you bring me a salad with breast of duck? == Mhm.

In all the upset, I haven't eaten a thing

Well, if she's planning anything, I'll for sure find out, sweetie

I am so grateful to you for helping me

I don't think I'll be able to sleep peacefully again until Tanja is sitting behind lock and key

Well, sometimes things happen faster than you'd think

Admirable, how much you sacrifice yourself for your work

Yes well, but diligence alone simply can't compensate for insufficient capabilities

So it IS true - that men start acting odd when they're sexually underutilized

How does your manly ego stand it anyway?

Your own fiance prefers a woman over you

What? What are you talking about?

With you it's always been more show than substance, and it's the same with your engagement

Oh, are you actually embarrassed?

Or are you afraid about your standing with your future father-in-law?

Well come on, what do you want?!?

A bit more friendliness

For the time being

Have a nice evening

Carla?!

Sylvia knows!

What are you talking about?

About our sham engagement

She threatened me! She's going to blow our cover.

So it's true

You know about it?

TALK to me!

And Hanna assured me that Sylvia would keep out of this

So, Hanna

Did you not drill into her that she should keep her trap shut?

Not in that tone, all right? Of course I did!

== You want one too? == No.

Sylvia of all people! Now she has us over a barrel.

I do hope it's clear to you what this means?

Under no circumstances can you let yourself be provoked by her anymore, you hear?!

She doesn't need any provocation! She's just WAITING for a chance to do damage to me! Hm?

Hi!

You could have at least called me

What is wrong?

Sylvia threatened Bernd with blowing the cover on our engagement!

No, I don't believe that. She doesn't mean that seriously.

Bernd probably provoked her, and now she's trying to get back at him

Don't worry about it so much, please! Sylvia gave me a solid promise she'd keep quiet.

Besides, there's nothing else we can do but believe her anyway

Oh, well now those are great prospects! Best if we just emigrate right now, hm?

Let's just try having some faith in my sister, please

Your opinion about your sister sure has changed

She risked her life for me

Tell me, have you seen my flip-flops?

Unh-unh

== When are you leaving anyway? == In three hours.

Tell me, you are aware that going on a trip like this, so soon after an operation, isn't exactly risk-free?

Leonard, I'm doing fine, and Dr. Mallmann has given me the green light

== I'm only saying. == Let her have some fun.

That's exactly what I'm doing. So, Hanna... Mwah! All the best and have lots of fun. Bye.

Thank you!

So, what else do I still need? I'm sure I'm forgetting half of it.

== Main thing is you don't forget Carla. == Unh-unh!

Ohh, Isabell, I don't even believe it yet, that we're actually going on our trip

== Do you already have somebody to take you to the airport? == Mhm, Lars is taking us.

== Will you still be here in half an hour? == Mhm.

See you then

Aha, there they are

Is everything okay?

Yes

Really?

YES!

Tomorrow at this hour, I'll be lying with Hanna on the beach

Hmm, it will be night there, on account of the time zone

Yeah so? Regardless, it's still nice and warm there. It will be wonderful.

Since when are you happy to be going on a business trip?

Oh, touring around China is going to be quite interesting

== Hm. == All kinds of art, new trade contacts.

== Won't you miss me a little bit, though? == Oh, I miss you already, sweetheart.

Mhm

Well then, have fun

You can quit now, he's gone!

Well then... have fun on your business trip and... stay in touch

Well, I won't promise you that

Don't be mad, but... these two weeks belong to just Hanna and me

Elisabeth, it's no big deal! I'll find someone who can watch over Carolin.

Yeah, take care. Ciao.

Sorry, could I have my key, please?

Yes, of course

You look pretty wiped out, Doctor

All hell was loose in the clinic today. Ciao.

Leonard von Lahnstein. Please leave a message after the tone.

Ah, well... hi, Leonard, this is Isabell

Well, bummer that I can't reach you, I... had a favor to ask you, I need a babysitter for Carolin...

... but probably you're going to be working, uhm... I'll just try calling again later, ciao

== Hi! == Hi.

I was in the neighborhood and thought maybe you'd have time for a coffee?

Well actually, I would have loved to, but I, uh... have a meeting with my tax adviser

And now I really need to get going, because... you know, everything takes twice as long with a child, and Elisabeth has an appointment too

I can look after Carolin. After all, I've had practice.

Would you do that?

Sure. I'll give Elisabeth a call and pick up Carolin from her, hm?

Oh

Yes? Carla!

Yeah, sure, I'll come back up. Okay.

Uhm... all right, thanks! That's nice of you, thank you. Ciao.

Sure, I'm happy to

Hanna?

Why isn't she opening up?!

Carla, we still have plenty of time. The most we need is twenty minutes to make it to the airport.

== Hohh. == Hey! You afraid you're going to miss your flight?

Yes, if Hanna keeps on dawdling like this, we will

I'm sure she's still packing somewhere

== Hanna? Hanna?! Hanna... == It verges on a miracle that Hanna's doing so well after--

== Hanna! == Hanna! Hey! Hanna! Wake up!

== Hanna! == There...there's a doctor who lives next door.

== All right. == Hanna! Oh, thank God!

So then, three of these per day, and other than that - lots of rest

Once again, thanks so much for your prompt help, yeah?

Fortunately I only live two doors down. So, good luck. Bye.

Bye

Listen, I need to take off too. Get better, all right?

That was it then for the South Sea

Hey, main thing is that it's nothing bad

And that's what's most important

Exactly. You've simply been expecting too much of yourself.

I merely want to go on a normal vacation, like every other person!

We will. We'll do it another time! Postponed is not the same as canceled.

Mhm, we've been saying that for months

We'll just go to the country for a few days instead. Leonard has recommended that from the beginning

What do I want with a cabin?! And especially in the Eifel!

If you guys will excuse me...

Hello, Carla von Lahnstein here. I have a job for you.

== When can I look? == Soon. And no peeking.

Here we go!

Ta da!

You did all this for me?

Well, it isn't the South Sea, but... at any rate, better than a cabin in the Eifel

You are so sweet!

For you I would do anything

== Yeah right, you're crazy. == Crazy for you!

And I'm crazy for you!

What a glorious day

Listen to this

Mhm

Clear as a bell

I am so grateful

If we can't go to the sea, then the sea just has to come to us

I don't mean just that

I had long since lost the belief in true love

Until I met you

I love you so much, it almost hurts

I love you the same way

Without you I couldn't live anymore

You don't have to, either. We'll be together forever.

Forever

Hanna?

Why did you leave me?

Where're you gonna go on your short trip?

Hm, I don't know. What do you think, Hanna?

I'm sorry, my thoughts were somewhere else

You need to learn to unwind

Yeah right, but doing nothing, that makes me crazy too

At least it's better than collapsing behind the counter

And besides, now you have an assignment

I know, 'to get well'

And you have to select where we're going

== You have to go already? == Yes. I'd better get back to Königsbrunn now.

After all, I have to explain to my family why I'm not on a trip to China

Hey, we'll make up for everything. For now, just get better. Bye.

Bye

Carla is right. Once you're back in shape, you'll both enjoy the South Sea a lot more.

Who knows what all will happen by then...

Your thoughts weren't on your work a minute ago

Just forget it

Hanna, what's going on with you? Does it have something to do with the operation?

Lars, I...

I have a very deep, visceral feeling

And it's telling me that I'm not going to live much longer

Video of the Day Recap February 10-March 7 - Duration: 11:01.

This might be my last Video of the Day video for a little while. Now I know many of you

enjoy these Video of the Day videos, however I want to begin shifting the content of my

channel towards more educational-type videos. It's pretty clear to me that people who

find my channel, and many of my subscribers, want me to make more educational or creative

videos. If you look at my "Why does Google care about Getty Images?" video, that video

has received the most positive feedback out of all of my other videos, and the one walkthrough

on my channel has also been one of the most popular videos on my channel. Because of the

feedback I've received on these two videos, I want to shift my channel to produce more

educational and creative content, and these videos don't exactly fit that description.

I'm not cancelling this series permanently, and I do like making these videos, so you'll

probably see another one of these types of videos in the future. If you do want to see

when I make another one of these videos and you would like to be the first to know when

it gets released, subscribing to my channel is the best way to be notified when I release

new content. Now on to the video. On February 10, I mostly just watched memes and other

short videos. The meme I added to the playlist for this day was "Wii Shop Channel Flute

Cover" by Timotainment. This flute cover is done pretty well, and if you like the Wii

Shop Channel theme, then you should give this one minute cover a listen. Another video I watched

on this day that was good was TechAltar's "How to Cure a Fanboy." This video wasn't one

of TechAltar's best videos, however I still think it's worth mentioning because I think

the style of this video is well done. I recommend watching some of TechAltar's other videos

before watching this one, because the video isn't all that great by itself. On Sunday,

February 11, I also watched mostly memes, and the video I put in the playlist for this

day is Gus Johnson's "The Failing Couples Of Facebook." This short song is way too

catchy, and once you hear it once, you'll want to watch it again and again. One other

video I watched on this day that was a good watch was Valve News Networks' "The L4D3

Facebook Page Was Fake -Read Description-." This video was good at informing me of a potential

and now debunked hint at Left 4 Dead 3. If you care about Valve, Steam, or Valve's

future games, you should give some of Valve News Networks' latest videos. On February

12, I watched very little videos, so I decided to rewatch a short video I had seen earlier

in the week and add it to the playlist. This video was Ian Kung's "How YouTubers Help

the Homeless." Ian Kung makes some pretty funny videos and topical memes, so if you're into

channels like Gus Johnson or other channels that make 30 second videos, you'll like Ian Kung's

channel. The next day, February 13, I put The Film Theorist's "The Tide Pod Challenge

- EXPOSED!" in the playlist. Film Theory makes some really good points in this video,

showing how the "Tide Pod Challenge" didn't really exist with many social media pages

and news sites exaggerating the entire thing. Another cool video that I watched on this

day was "How figure skating scoring rewards risk over artistry" by Vox. Vox's video

that was made during the Winter Olympics provides some pretty interesting insight to the figure

skating scoring system present during the Olympics. One other thing I watched on this

day that was intriguing was Wendover Productions' "How Overnight Shipping Works." If the

title of the video sounds interesting to you, you will probably like the video. On February

14, Valentine's Day, I watched "H3H3 On Logan Paul Demonetization" that was posted

on H3 Podcast Highlights and put it in the playlist. h3h3productions' opinions on the

Logan Paul shenanigans were pretty amusing to hear, and if you still care about the diabolical,

this video might be worth watching. This was the only cool video I watched on this day.

Next, on February 15, I put Froggy Fresh's update video in the playlist. In this video,

Tyler Cassidy announces his new career in soul music and how he is moving on from the

Froggy Fresh project. He also posted a link to download all of his unreleased music from

the last Froggy Fresh album, so that was a nice surprise. On this day I also watched

two other entertaining videos, austinmcconnell's "Making Money from Fan Fiction?" and Raycevick's

"The Orange Box... 10 Years Later." Austin's video was a cool watch as he goes over how

fan fiction writers are making money from Amazon and what that might mean for the future.

Admittedly, I only watched the first twenty minutes of Raycevick's one hour long video,

however I could tell the video was phenomenal just based off of the first five minutes alone.

If you haven't seen most of Raycevick's stuff, you're seriously missing out and

need to go through his entire channel as soon as possible. On February 16, I put jacksfilms'

"FINNA WOKE. (YIAY #397)" in the Video of the Day playlist. This video was the only

video I watched on this day, so it was added to the playlist by default. The video isn't

bad, and if you watch jacksfilms and his YIAY series, you'll probably like this one.

The next day, Saturday, February 17, I watched and added Marques Brownlee's "Apple HomePod

Review: The Dumbest Smart Speaker?" and put it in the playlist. This review of the

HomePod is very well done, and if you're interested in getting a HomePod, or are just

interested in tech in general, you'll enjoy this video. I still prefer The Verge's review

of the HomePod that I recommend in the last Video of the Day video, however Marques'

review is also very well-made and entertaining, and both are worth watching. One other video

I watched on this day that was entertaining was Pyrocynical's "Why I Can't Come

Back..." This video was a good watch, and if you like Pyrocynical's videos, this video

is for you. In the video, Pyrocynical discusses why he can't ever come back to Twitter as

he is now getting banned every time he makes a new account. The next day on February

18, I put videogamedunkey's "Super Seducer" in the playlist. This video is hilarious,

and you should definitely give this a watch as it's one of dunkey's funniest videos

that's come out in a while. This was the only video worth mentioning for this day.

On the following Monday, February 19, I put How It Should Have Ended's "How Star Wars

The Last Jedi Should Have Ended" in the playlist. Once you've seen Star Wars: The

Last Jedi, you should watch this video as it's a really good video, and if you've

seen other How It Should Have Ended videos, you know just how clever and humorous this

video is. On February 20, Valve News Network released two new videos, and I put one of

them in the playlist called "Meet Gabe Newell's Son." In this video, Gabe Newell's son

talks about his upcoming game and talks about growing up at Valve. The other video VNN released

on this day was "Valve's 'Unannounced Title' - Valve Catch-Up #1" and this video

was also a very good watch as VNN discovers a Valve employee that's working on a quote

end quote "Unannounced Valve Title." On February 21, I put DiscordApp's "Discord

- Spell Checker (Homework Edit) (30 MIN!!)" in the playlist, and yes, I did listen to

the full half hour while doing homework. Some of Discord's videos are actually pretty

creative, even if their videos are just glorified ads. On this day, I also watched some other

videos that are worth mentioning: TechAltar's "Why does Microsoft even bother with Edge?,"

LiveOverflow's "Searching for Bitcoins in GitHub repositories with Google BigQuery,"

I Hate Everything's "I HATE YOUTUBE IN THE NEWS," and NakeyJakey's "Valve Has

Changed." All of these videos are entertaining in their own ways, and all of them are linked

down in the description along with all of the other videos mentioned in this video.

On February 22, I put another episode of the Hello Internet podcast in the playlist: "H.I.

#19: Pit of Doom." This episode of Hello Internet was really interesting as CGP Grey

and Brady Haran, the podcast hosts, discuss one of my favorite CGP Grey videos: Humans

Need Not Apply. I highly recommend listening to this episode of Hello Internet if you like

that video as much as I do because the second half of the podcast episode is effectively

an extended edition of that video. This is the only thing worth mentioning for this day.

On Friday, February 23, I put Stir Fry by Migos in the playlist. What can I say, it's

a good song. I didn't watch anything else significant on this day. PolyMatter's "Apple's

Money Problem (& Why It Won't Buy Netflix)" was the next video I put in the playlist on

February 24. This video was very well done as it explains Apple's tax-evading financial

position and how that's about to change. If you like interesting videos or videos about

economics, this video is worth giving a watch. This video was one of the only videos I watched

on this day. On the next day, Sunday, February 25, I added the full Persona 5 soundtrack

to the playlist. I was recommended this soundtrack by a friend, and it's really a really good

soundtrack, so if you need something to listen to, give this a listen. This was the only

thing worth mentioning that I watched on this day. The next video in the Video of the Day

playlist for February 26, is jacksfilms' "*cough*." I know I've put lots of jacksfilms

videos in the playlist, however this video is probably one of his best that is in the

playlist. This video is short, but pretty creative, and it is a pretty original video

compared to his other formulaic videos. If you want to see a a little bit of an experimental

video, go give this video a watch. One other thing I watched on this day that was cool

was Tom Scott's "Launching An Entire Fireworks Display At Once." This video shows how firework

systems are wired and designed and how they are designed not to fail. If you're not

sure about the logistics of fireworks, this video might be worth watching. On February 27,

I was introduced to my second favorite meme of 2018: (BestTrends) "Hey, how's it going

guys and welcome to BestTrends. Today we're gonna be going over, five Fortnite YouTubers

WHO'VE SWORN." This meme is amazing, and I hope to see more people using it in the

future. I discovered this meme through Pyrocynical's "STOP THESE FORTNITE YOUTUBERS" and put

it in the playlist. The next day, I forgot to add something to the playlist. When I went

back and checked what I had watched for this day to add a video to the playlist for the

day, I saw that I only watched was the audio version of Stir Fry by Migos. Because it was the only

thing I watched on this day, I was forced to put this song in the playlist once more.

On March 1, I added Extra Credits' "The Legality of Loot Boxes - Designing Ethical

Lootboxes: II" in the playlist. This video is yet another video in Extra Credits' loot

box series, and if you liked the Extra Credits videos I mentioned in the last Video of the

Day video, you'll also enjoy this video. This is the only video I watched on this

day. On Friday, March 2, I put grandayy's "Precious Foot Lettuce 💚" in the playlist.

This meme is definitely the best use of the Burger King Foot Lettuce meme and the You

So Precious When You Smile meme, so if you once liked either of these memes, you should

watch grandayy's take on the memes. I watched almost nothing on March 3, but I did watch

Gus Johnson's "Toss Me A Cold One." I'll be honest, I don't like this video

very much, but it was the only thing I watched on this day, so I just put it in the playlist.

The next day on Sunday, March 4, I put videogamedunkey's "Metal Gear

Dies" in the playlist. This video was funny and informative, and if you want to know about

Konami's newest Metal Gear game, Metal Gear Survive, this video is worth watching. There

was a few other videos that were really entertaining that I watched on this day: "Nintendo Switch

- 1 Year Later - Predictions & Concerns" by Adam Koralik, "Privacy of a Youtuber"

by kliksphillip, and "Casually Explained: Critical Thinking" by Casually Explained.

All of these videos are awesome, so if you need things to watch, these videos are really

worth your time. On March 5, I put "NRA TV: Last Week Tonight with John Oliver (HBO)"

in the playlist, a scene from the the HBO show Last Week Tonight. If you've seen other

episodes or scenes of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, you'll definitely like this

video as this is one of the better scenes from the new season of Last Week Tonight.

One other video I watched on this day that's worth mentioning is TechAltar's "Why does

Nokia reboot old phones?" TechAltar's explanation of Nokia's smartphone strategy

was very interesting to me as I didn't know much about Nokia today before this video.

The next day on March 6, I put "Curb your assassination attempt" by Lord Joe in the

playlist. This is perhaps one of the best curb your memes, as the song meshes well with

the crazy video it is played over. The other memes I watched on this day aren't worth

mentioning here. The next video in the playlist is a very well-made video: Raycevick's "So

I've Finally Played... Quantum Break." This video is amazing, and if you want a review

for Quantum Break, you should watch this video. Another video that I watched on this day that

was a good watch was Marques Brownlee's "The 🍎 Ecosystem: Explained!" If you

watch Marques Brownlee's stuff, you shouldn't miss this video as its one of his better "explained"

videos. Although, I haven't fully caught up to the most recent video added to this

playlist, I'm going to end the video here as I want to give myself time to work on the

next video, the Save Jesus video.

So subscribe if you want to know

exactly when that video comes out. Also, although I didn't talk about the videos I've added

to the playlist in the last week, you should still give them a watch as videos like Summoning

Salt's "World Record Progression: Metroid" are incredible videos. Thanks for watching

what may be my final Video of the Day video for a little while, and be sure to watch the

Save Jesus video when it comes out. Goodbye.

of the last few months.

The first product is the custom flask that costs about $8.

It's a stainless steel flask that can hold 6oz.

Of a beverage of your choosing.

There are a few different design options that you can select from, and the wording is customized

as per your demand at no extra cause.

A flask meant for alcohol that reads "Aliholic".

I really make myself chuckle sometimes.

The next product is a case for Google Pixel 2.

I don't actually own this phone, I bought the case for the manager at my day job.

The case decreased in price by about $2 since I purchased it.

This is a pretty fancy case, everything about it screams class: from the packaging with

a silk loop on the top, down to the material of the case and its features.

The store carries a bunch of other cases, including for the cheaper phone models, so

if you own a more mainstream phone and are in need of a case, check it out, they have

some pretty cool ones.

As may have seen in the previous unboxing videos, I have been buying a lot of soap from

AliExpress.

This is one of my favourite ones.

The bar has a strong honey smell, which I love, and the top portion has a honeycomb

pattern.

It came with a string, which adds some extra resale value.

Soap like this can easily be sold in higher-end artisan stores, or on sites like Etsy.

I wouldn't be surprised to see some less-informed people paying up to $7-8 for a soap bar like

this.

The next item on our list is this LED strip with a board and a remote control.

I bought the waterproof option with the silicone layer on top just because I thought it would

be more durable.

The strip comes with an LED board and a USB plug.

The remote control range is decent, and I am able change colors while laying on the

bed, but I usually just have it on the cyclical setting, where it switches between colors

on its own every few seconds.

With it you can control the brightness and the speed with which it changes colors.

You can also select the color and the intensity.

The strip comes with a pre-applied adhesive tape on the back.

I wrapped it around my TV (which has a few USB ports in it), and now I'm enjoying the

cool lighting effects.

If you know me well enough, you know that I like odd sweatshirts.

One of my favourite ones is this vaporwave one with an sleepy alien.

It's pretty weird, I like it.

Unlike the other 3d sweaters that I bought before, this one appears to be made out of

cotton, or some other non-polyester material.

It is really nice and soft, and the stitches are very-well done.

I had some dirty spots on it because I'm a bit of a messy eater sometimes, but after

washing it with bleach like it's 1999 the whites became a lot whiter.

If you are new to buying clothing from AliExpress be aware that the sizes are usually way different

than European sizes.

I normally wear M or L, which in Asian sizing is XL or XXL if I want a baggier fit.

Another item of clothing that I bought is a reflective windbreaker jacket, also called

an anti-paparazzi jacket.

You will learn why in a second.

The material is a bit on a harder side, and it is not stretchy at all.

It is moderately waterproof, and can be used in light to medium rain.

The zipper is okay, and it is still working good, although just as with any zipper, it

is a countdown to doom, because they will all eventually stop working.

I wish I got this one in 1 size larger, because the arms are a bit too short.

And the reason why it is called an anti-paparazzi jacket is here, when you try to take a picture

with the flash on, the jacket absorbs all the light and your face becomes very hard

to see.

It can also be used for jogging at night, to make you more visible for distracted drivers.

Next we have this USB 3.0 card reader.

I was getting tired of the long transfer times and since I have an SSD and several 3.0 ports

on my desktop I decided to spoil myself with some present time tech.

It supports two types of cards, SD and micro-SD, which is all I need.

Here is the speed test of a U1-class SD card, the fact that it reaches 90 Mb/s makes me

believe that it really is a 3.0 USB and not a dupe.

I am actually not sure what my reasoning was when I bought this, probably I just wanted

to see what it's like, and I ended up using it to mask my address on the packages for

the unboxing videos.

I wasn't too impressed with this tape and it isn't sticky and is meant for simple

non-glossy paper.

Here is another handy item that I have received.

One of the more useful things that I use everyday is the wire holders.

I had to switch desks a few times recently, so the new desk owners inherited my old ones,

and I needed to buy me some more.

These wire holders come with adhesive strips on the back for the easy application.

I didn't take a video of this one, so here are the pictures of it from the item feedback

section.

During the summer months, and sometimes during the winter I like to get out of the city and

enjoy the nature, which is why I bought this mug.

To be honest, I expected it to be much bigger, but for some reason the 200 ml.

Which was listed in the item description did not register in my mind at the time of the

order.

I still bring it with me and use it, and instead of 1 cup of coffee in the morning I have 2.

The carabiner handle is a nifty addition, which makes it easy for me to always have

handy.

And the last item for today is this camping headlight with a zoomable light.

There are a few things that I thought were awesome about it, one the fact that the light

is adjustable, so I could make the light spot bigger and smaller, and the fact that the

bulb inside is LED, which helped with the battery life.

The bad thing about it was the charger port was not a micro-USB or anything more standard.

But the biggest caveat was the accumulator inside as it no longer holds any charge.

Overall, it lasted one and a half seasons, which of course is a bit shorter than what

I was expecting from it.

I recently became more active on Instagram, so for those who want to see your boy cook

some fancy meals while making horrible puns, sub to me @ aliholicsocial, and make sure

Cat Problems 101 | Peeing Outside The Litter Box Part 1 - Duration: 11:38.

hey y'all welcome back mandy with my hectic life pets where we talk about all

things pet and pet related and today I'm starting a new series about cat problems

so huge problem on cat owners is urinating outside the litter box

I can probably talk about this all day long there are a lot of underlying

causes there are a lot of underlying causes for why a cat will urinate

outside the litter box instead of appropriately eliminating inside the box

now of course you want to rule out any health problems if your cat starts

urinating outside the litter box often if a cat does have a urinary tract

infection or has any kind of constipation issues they will frequently

go outside the box because they will feel pain when they go to the bathroom

and discomfort when they're going to the bathroom and they'll make an association

with the litter box instead of a health problem so if you do have a cat that is

going outside the litter box you do want to make sure that there are no

underlying health problems and get that checked out by the vet before making

assumptions your cat is just trying to spite you there are also other health

problems like diabetes that will cause frequent urination in your cat so you do

want to make sure that you take your cat to the vet and check them out to make

sure that there are no underlying causes now cats can be extremely fastidious

creatures they love everything to be really really clean although you

wouldn't necessarily know it by scooping out their box how nasty that is but cats

like things really really cleanliness a regular basis and keeping it clean for

your cat some cats will take this to an extreme level if they pee in the litter

box they don't want to poop in that same box and they will go next to the litter

box this can be remedied if you have two litter boxes side by side now it is

always recommended that you do have multiple litter boxes especially if you

have more than one cat the rule of thumb is to have one

litter box per cat plus one extra so if you have two cats you want to have three

litter boxes if you have one cat you want to have two this alone will a lot

of times eliminate a lot of problems when it comes to litter box usage now

let's talk about types of litter boxes as unattractive as an open litter box is

some cats will not use a hooded litter box it might be that the opening is too

small for them or it might just break them out so if you have a hooded litter

box and your cat refuses to use it try taking that hood off and see if it makes

a difference because unfortunately a lot of times it will make a huge difference

now litter box location litter box location is extremely important if you

have litter boxes in high-traffic really noisy areas a lot of times your cat will

not want to use that box cats just like people want some privacy they want a

nice quiet place for them to be able to go to the bathroom placing a litter box

in a high-traffic area or in a very loud noisy area such as near a dishwasher or

a dryer or any type of source of loud noise can spook your cat to where they

might go to use the litter box and then get spooked by a loud noise and end up

going somewhere else so you do want to make sure that your litter box is kept

in a quiet area I personally like to keep all my litter boxes in the

restrooms I have several bathrooms so it's not an

issue but this way my cats have different areas they can go that are

peaceful and quiet if you think about it would you want to go to the bathroom

near like a loud jet noise or something probably not so much your cat doesn't

like that either let's talk about those wonderful self-cleaning litterboxes now

if your cattle use it that is fantastic but some of these litter boxes have been

known to suddenly turn on and start while the cat is still in the box

a lot of times this can cause huge issues with your cat if this does happen

where your cat will be forever petrified of using that type of box while that is

an infrequent problem and these are really convenient devices just make sure

if your cat does start going outside the litter box I would switch back to a

normal box now size of litter box definitely definitely matters if you

have a large cat you're gonna need a big litter box a lot of times a telltale

sign that your litter box is too small is you will see urine just outside the

box but next to the box this is such an easy solution you need a bigger litter

box Rubbermaid containers can make an excellent excellent litter box for a

large cat types of litter can also be a problem pelleted litter may sound like a

great idea and if your cats will use it that's fantastic it can be a great

litter litters like yesterday's news or feline pine that are in those little

pellets shapes there's almost zero tracking with them almost no dust which

is great for people with allergies however it can be really really rough on

your cat's paws if the litter hurts their feet they're not gonna use that

litter box and they're gonna show you by going on your carpet or your rugs or

your furniture it's not that they're trying to spite you it's that using that

box is causing them pain a lot of cats will use those types of litters but mini

will not there are some that have paws that are so overly sensitive you have to

find a extremely fine grain scoopable litter for your cat to be inclined to

use it I did have one cat previously that the only litter that that cat could

use was the Arm & Hammer litter I didn't care much for it because it stank

pretty quickly but it was the only litter that my cat would use

on a regular basis and not have any accidents a lot of the other litters out

there were too thickly grained and his feet were extremely extremely sensitive

especially as he got up in age so I had to get a really really fine grained

litter and that completely solved my urination problem

scented litters are also another big reason why a cat will not go to the

bathroom in their litter box cats really rely on their sense of smell to be able

to find where they need to go to the bathroom if you have a really really

strong scented perfumed litter then your cat might not want to go to the bathroom

where they are supposed to they might not be able to smell it or the smell

might be so overpowering on them that they refuse to go in that area because

they can't stand to be in that area unscented litters can be a very quick

fix if this is the issue or finding one that is lightly scented that kitty and

you both agree on a lot of cats can be very sensitive of litter smells so going

with an unscented litter is usually your best bet

for eliminating that possibility now if you have multiple cats cats are

extremely territorial creatures this is why you want to have multiple litter

boxes if you have multiple cats cats can be known to litter box guard and they

can and will bully the other cats in the house to keep them away from the boxes

so not only do you want to have multiple litter boxes but you want to have them

in different locations throughout your house now while you might have litter

boxes in separate rooms they might be down all down one single hallway so you

do have to be very careful and mindful of this can my cat be blocked from using

the litter box by one of my other cats I have litter boxes upstairs as well as

downstairs to help prevent any kind of litter box guarding my cats have easy

access to no matter where they are in the house

to a litter box and there's no possible way for another cat to be guarding all

of the litter boxes all at once so you do want to have multiple litter boxes

and you want to have them in separate locations so that your cat can have easy

access without being bullied by its housemates now another big issue with

cat urination is outdoor cats feral cats and your neighbors outdoor cats now cats

are again extremely territorial so if an outdoor cat is urinating over near your

house on your porch somewhere where your cat can pick up that scent your cat

might start marking near those areas that the other cat is hanging around

outside to say oh no no this is my property

back off now this can cause a really big problem because it's not your cat

outside that is causing an issue but using enzymatic outdoor cleaners you can

help get rid of the scent outside as well as using an enzymatic cleaner

inside to get rid of the smell inside to prevent further improper marking another

common issue is urination on bath mats now if you have a cat that is going to

the bathroom on those big fluffy bath mats you might

have to start picking up those bath mats and keeping them off the floor we're

locking your cat out of the area where those bath mats are present

unfortunately things like big fluffy bath mats and beanbag chairs can

sometimes attract a cat to inappropriately urinate the texture and

feel of these types of bath mats and of course beanbag chairs for the obvious

reason if you pot them they feel kind of like litter so these can sometimes

attract cats to inappropriately eliminate on those types of items so if

you have those in your house and you have a cat urinating on them

unfortunately those items might have to go okay so I have covered quite a few of

the common reasons why cats will go to the bathroom

outside of the litter box if you have any questions please post them in the

comment section below I do try to respond to every comment

that I get I really really try to make sure that I check up and read my comment

section every day so if you have a question I promise I will try and get

back to you as quickly as I can so that's all for today's video if you

Wallet Options & Coin Safety: Top 3 Security Suggestions! - Duration: 6:39.

Hey guys, I'm Angelo & welcome back to Crypto Coin Consultants.

Printing your private keys onto a paper wallet & stashing it away somewhere in your home

is one of the safest ways to store access to your cryptocurrencies.

But are there other, safer options?

Today I'll be teaching you about the different wallet options you have available at your

disposal, as well as the different security measures you can take to keep your crypto

safe.

Before we continue, don't forget to subscribe to the channel & hit the like button to stay

tuned for more crypto-related info!

Today's video was requested by Carl Pierluissi.

If you have any other topics you'd like to learn about, let me know in the comments section

below.

Number 3: Two-Factor Authentication There are countless examples of people getting

there coins stolen from large exchanges like Bittrex and Binance, some of whom were even

using two-factor authentication, which you'll often see abbreviated as 2FA.

Even though two-factor authentication is a great tool that you should also ALWAYS use,

it has proven to be ineffective at times.

What exactly is two-factor authentication?

Think of it as an added layer of security that requires a piece of information you can

access, since you immediately have it on-hand.

In today's day and age, that often means a smartphone.

By providing your phone number—or by downloading an authentication app—you prevent yourself

and others from being able to login to any of your accounts with just your username & password.

It can come in the form of text verification, which sends you a text with a temporary, one-time

code that you have to type in every time you login.

Those who choose to use an authentication app can simply open the app on their phone

& look up the unique code the app generated for you, which is constantly changing every

minute.

Two-factor authentication goes a long way in added security, but for reasons unbeknownst

to me, it doesn't always suffice.

Hackers are simply getting too smart these days…and that's exactly why in today's video,

I'll also be discussing the different cryptocurrency wallet variations available to you, which

have also proven to be the safest.

Number 2: What are the different options?

There are 5 legitimate options and I want to start things off by discussing the hardware

wallet, or hard wallet for short.

There are 3 very solid hard wallets that I can recommend for you to choose from.

A Trezor, a Keepkey, or what I personally choose to use: the Ledger Nano S.

A hardware wallet is an electronic cryptocurrency wallet that stores your privates keys in a

secure hardware device.

These keys are placed in a secure section of a microcontroller, and can't be transferred

out of the device, meaning you don't actually know what your keys are.

This is what helps make hardware wallets so secure.

Before I move on any further, it's important for you to know what a software wallet is.

A software wallet is an electronic wallet that's downloaded directly to your computer

& is accessible only to that one computer.

You can probably tell that this isn't the smartest option to use, since access to both

your computer and funds are susceptible to hacking or computer failure.

Similar to these are mobile wallets (which is the cellphone equivalent of a software

wallet) and online wallets (in which your private keys are cloud-based & accessible

from any computer anywhere in the world (but are also susceptible to hacking, while at

the same time are controlled by a third-party).

Going back to hard wallets, devices like Trezors or Ledgers are immune to all that.

It's impossible for them to be infected by viruses; meaning unless someone can guess

your 24-word seed, there's no way they can get hacked.

In addition, transfers & withdrawals can only be made with you present & able to unlock

the device, since each transaction must be physically confirmed by pressing on the device's

buttons before sending.

Again, this is to prevent someone from being able to access & send your funds off remotely.

Another highly secure wallet type is the paper wallet.

As I said earler, a paper wallet is simply a piece of paper—either digital (like a

Word doc) or an actual piece of paper—that has both your public & private keys either

written or printed on it.

One example of creating an Ether paper wallet is by making one on myetherwallet.com, which

I showed you how to do in my video on how to participate in an ICO.

Even though this wallet is accessed digitally, it's still considered a paper wallet because

your private keys are not cloud-based, and it's up to you & only you to write down your

private keys.

Myetherwallet.com will not centrally store your private keys for you.

From here we can deduce that the one biggest disadvantage to using a paper wallet is that

if you ever lose that piece of paper or document containing your private keys, your funds will

be forever lost.

The last wallet type worth mentioning is the hot wallet.

Hot wallets are wallets connected to the internet; so basically they're the wallets on exchanges,

like Bittrex, Binance, and even Coinbase & GDAX.

The only time you should ever be keeping your funds in a hot wallet is if you plan on actively

trading.

Quick access to coins is important for traders, and with how fast crypto prices move, it's

important for traders to be able to make moves as fast as possible without having to transfer

funds out of cold storage onto an exchange.

All other long-term investors & HODLers should be using cold storage, like hardware wallets

or paper wallets for example.

Number 1: What if I lose my hardware wallet?

You can probably tell by now that my preferred method of storage is the hardware wallet.

But what are you supposed to do in the unfortunate event that you lose your Ledger?

Well you'll be happy to hear that all three hard wallet devices work with a safety net

in the form of a series of 24 words that you were required to write down when initially

setting up your device.

This 24-word phrase is called your mnemonic seed.

It is crucial, of course, that you do not keep this seed anywhere near your wallet.

You won't be needing them unless you lose actually lose your wallet, so be sure to store

them securely & well away from your wallet; ideally in a place that, realistically, won't

get compromised.

One quick & effective tip some people use is to break up the 24-word seed into several

parts (say, four parts of six words each for example) and giving each part to one of four

different trustworthy friends or family members.

That way, one friend can't do anything with the six words you've given them, and it's

not until you combine the four parts from each of your friends & family members that

you'll have your full 24-word mnemonic seed.

Doing so essentially makes your seed act as a sort of multi-signature wallet.

CNN 10 | CNN Student News | March 20, 2018 | Trump's plan to address opioid abuse - Duration: 10:01.

I`m Carl Azuz for CNN, your source for objective explanation of the day`s news. Thanks for

spending part of your Tuesday

with us.

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad recently spent part of his day driving through a suburb

of Damascus on a Honda Civic. Why is this making

international news?

The part of the Syrian capital he appeared to drive through is a war-torn section called

Eastern Ghouta. You might remember us reporting on this.

It was an area held by rebels who are fighting the Syrian government. It`s been under a government

siege for six years and Syrian forces launched an

all-out assault on eastern Ghouta, several weeks ago.

So, President Assad`s drive through the area, when he negotiates traffic and passes taxis

and pedestrians, without appearing to get noticed is

apparently his way of showing his military`s fight here has been successful.

The battle was incredibly destructive. After it started, the United Nations Security Council

voted unanimously for a ceasefire. Both the

government and the rebels ignored that almost immediately. The U.N. says that 400,000 civilians

in eastern Ghouta suffered through the onslaught.

It looks like it`s nearing an end. Observers expect the government to eventually defeat

the rebels there and take over the entire area in the

days ahead. But no one knows when or if the scars of war will heal.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

BEN WEDEMAN, CNN SENIOR INTERNATIONAL CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): President Bashar al-Assad is

at the wheel.

We`re going to the Ghouta to see the situation, he says, driving through what appears to be

normal traffic, without an apparent security escort on

his way to the eastern Ghouta, on the outskirts of Damascus.

Under siege for years, for a month, the scene of the government offensive to crush this

rebel-held pocket. According to the United Nations, more

than a thousand civilians have been killed, tens of thousands have fled the government-held

areas.

God willing, anything that can be liberated without fighting is best, he says. Let`s not

forget there are civilians and we must preserve their

lives.

It`s a surreal work of propaganda. The Syrian every man on a day trip to the ruins of his

realm.

His bodyguards reappear when he meets people who greet him with kisses and chants.

With our souls and blood, we sacrifice ourselves for you, Bashar.

In seven years, nearly half a million Syrians have been sacrificed in a war far from over.

Many killed by a government that has showered its opponents with barrel bombs and in the

eastern Ghouta in 2013, chemical weapons.

Meeting with commanders, he gives instruction to avoid civilian casualties, because he says

-- maybe the terrorists are hiding behind the civilians.

The Syrian government has always framed its fight against the armed opposition as an existential

struggle between order and chaos.

The battle is bigger than Syria, al-Assad tells the troops. You`re waging a battle for

the world, every bullet you fire to kill a terrorist, you`re

changing the world order.

And while the Syrian president basked on the cheers of his troops, Sunday, the bloodshed

carried on. According to the Syrian-American Medical

Society, during Assad`s day out, government forces subjected the Ghouta to intense bombardment,

killing 28 people, including four children and five

women.

Ben Wedeman, CNN, Beirut.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

AZUZ: Police in Austin, the capital of Texas, are telling people to call them if they see

anything suspicious and they`re offering a reward of

$115,000. It`s because they think a serial bomber may be on a loose.

For the fourth time this month, an explosive device has gone off in the city. The previous

three explosions came from packages left on people`s

doorsteps. But what happened Sunday night involved the device that was placed on the

side of the road and triggered by a tripwire when two men

walked by. They were hurt but they`re expected to recover. Two of the victims from the other

bombings died.

Police say the tripwire bomb was more sophisticated than the others, indicating the bomber might

have some sort of explosives training. The

bombs were placed or sent to different parts of the city and as you`d expect, residents

across Austin are on edge. Even a bomb threat made on

Saturday caused the cancellation of a concert at the South by Southwest Music Festival.

In that case, officers didn`t find any explosives, but

because of the other ones, police say people need to avoid anything that looks out of place,

and they`re asking for those who have security camera

footage to contact police immediately.

U.S. President Donald Trump is introducing a new plan to take on America`s opioid epidemic.

U.S. health officials say 64,000 people died of drug

overdoses in 2016, mostly from opioids, which include painkillers and heroin. The White

House says it wants to improve federal funding for drug

treatment programs and it`s launching a new advertising campaign to discourage young Americans

from trying drugs.

While the Trump administration says it would support reducing penalties for lower level

drug crimes, it wants harsher punishments, possibly including

the death penalty for the worse sellers and distributors of illegal drugs. The president

says some drug dealers kill thousands of people during their

lifetimes and have weak jail sentences.

But some critics don`t agree with the death penalty proposal. One university professor

who studied the crisis says, quote, we can`t execute

our way out of this epidemic, while another says the death penalty alone probably won`t

help, the more severe punishments for drug traffickers could

be combined with treatments to effectively tackle the problem.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

DR. SANJAY GUPTA, CNN CHIEF MEDICAL CORRESPONDENT: Every 19 minutes, someone dies from an accidental

drug overdose. Most of the time, it`s from

prescription drugs like Oxycodone or hydrocodone. These drugs all belong to a family of drugs

called opioids.

SUBTITLE: Why are opioids so addictive?

GUPTA: They are prescribed to dull pain. But they also boost dopamine, giving some people

a high. They can also slow down your breathing and are

highly addictive.

So, why is it so easy to get hooked?

Well, for one, our body can build up a tolerance. So, the more you use, the larger dose you

need to get the same effect.

Secondly, you can become dependent on them. In fact, your body creates natural opioids

that are released when you`re hooked yourself. But if you

habitually use painkillers, your body stops producing its own, and relies on the drugs

instead. If you try and stop then, the body goes through

withdrawal.

Consider this: in 2012, there were 259 million prescriptions written for opioid painkillers,

nearly enough for every American adult and child to

have their own bottle of pills. Look, we need to treat pain, but we also don`t need to treat

everything with the pill.

AZUZ: Our last story today has to do with cryogenics, a branch of physics focused on

extremely low temperatures. That kind of science was needed to

make a type of ice cream that can`t be stored in grocery store, freezers or the one you

have at home and it sure can`t be stored into existence like

home-made ice cream. It needs to be frozen quickly at minus 300 degrees Fahrenheit.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

REPORTER: You probably recognize these ice-cream pellets as the ice cream of the future. They`re

Dippin` Dots, a summertime staple.

But this confectionery treat didn`t start as -- well, ice cream. It started as cow feed.

SUBTITLE: Moooove over ice cream.

REPORTER: Dippin` Dots were invented in the `80s not by an ice cream brand but by a microbiologist.

Curtis Jones (ph) specialized in cryogenics. In 1987, he was working for a biotech company

in Kentucky trying to figure out how to make food for farm

animals more efficient. His big breakthrough came when he flash froze cattle feed 350 degrees

below zero, which produce small pellets.

Serendipitously, Curtis loved making ice cream. Next thing he knew, he was using liquid nitrogen

to freeze ice cream at extremely low temperatures and

ended up with small beads of it. When eaten, the natural heat of the mouth melted the beads

and thus Dippin` Dots was born.

A year later, he formed the company out of his parents` garage in Illinois.

But there was a problem: Curtis had nowhere to sell the product. Dippin` Dots need to

be stored at such a cold temperature that it made it

impossible for grocery stores to house the tasty treat. So, he got creative and marketed

his product to alternate locations. Now, they`re

sold at amusement parks, festivals, zoos and other summertime destinations.

But whether or not they really are the ice cream of the future, we`ll just have to wait

and see.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

AZUZ: Maybe I scream and you scream for ice cream, but does this mean Dippin` Dots are

cryogenetically modified. Someone ought to serve up the

cold hard truth on that because after dinner, it`s a good idea to dot your ice creams and

cross your t-serts.

It's opening time

Down on

Fascination Street

So let's

Cut the conversation

And get out for

A bit

Because I feel it

All fading and paling

And I'm begging

To drag you down with me

To kick the last nail in

Yeah

I like you in that

Like

I like you to scream

But if you

Open your mouth

Then I can't be responsible

For quite

What goes in

Or to care

What comes out

So just pull on

Your hair

Just pull on your

Pout

And let's move

To the beat

Like we know

That it's over

If you slip

Going under

Slip

Over my shoulder

So just pull

On your face

Just pull on

Your feet

And let's hit

Opening time

Down on

Fascination Street

So

Pull on
