Doc Watson is one of the local characters here.

This is the statue of Daniel Boone.

Yosef is the mascot of the Appalachian State University.

His name comes from a saying said here a lot:

The prophets predicted many things in detail about

the Messiah hundreds of years before He appeared.

The prophet Micah predicted that the Messiah

would be born in Bethlehem,

while the prophet Zechariah foretold

Isaiah prophesied what the Messiah would do when He came.

The Lord's anointed will preach the Good News to the poor,

bind up the brokenhearted, proclaim freedom

for the captives and proclaim that the time

has come when the Lord will save His people.

So, who was the Messiah?

In the first century, a prophet came called Jesus.

Some thought He was the one the prophet spoke about.

Could this be?

Did His life fulfill what was predicted of Him?

Was Jesus more than a prophet?

The devil said to Him;

order this stone to become bread.

It is written, that man shall not live by bread alone,

but by every word of God.

all the kingdoms of the world.

I will give you all this power and all this wealth.

And I can give it to anyone I choose.

And when the time of testing comes, they fall away.

The seeds that fell among the thorns stand for those who hear,

but the worries and riches and pleasures of this life

crowd in and choke them.

And their fruit never ripens.

And the seeds that fell in good soil,

Stand for those who hear the message

and retain it in a good and obedient heart.

And they persist until they bear fruit.

No one lights a lamp and covers it with a bowl,

or puts it under a bed.

Instead, he puts it on the stand

so that people may see the light as they come in.

Whatever is hidden away will be brought out in the open.

And whatever is covered up will be found and brought to light.

Be careful then, how you listen.

Because whoever has will be given more.

But he who has not will have taken away from him

even the little he thinks he has.

What? The body of our Lord, gone?

Jesus appeared to two of the disciples.

They excitedly came back to the others.

The Lord is risen indeed.

He has appeared to Simon.

We didn't recognize Him, not on the road.

But when He broke bread, then we knew Him.

At Emmaus. How strange He should go there.

Peace be with you.

Why are you troubled?

Why are these doubts coming up in your minds?

Look, my hands and my feet,

and see that it is I, Myself.

Feel Me and you will know.

For a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.

These are the very things I told you about,

while I was still with you.

That everything written about Me in the Law of Moses

and the writings of the prophets and the Psalms

had to come true.

This is what is written;

The Messiah must suffer, and rise from the dead on the third day.

And in His name,

the message of repentance and the forgiveness of sins

must be preached to all nations,

beginning in Jerusalem.

You are witnesses of these things.

And I Myself bring the promise of My Father upon you.

But you must wait in the city,

until the power from above comes down upon you.

The Lord bless you and keep you.

All power is given to Me in heaven and in earth.

Go, therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them

in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you.

And lo, I am with you always,

even unto the end of the world.

Amen.

In The Holy Scriptures, God declared the Messiah

would come to be the Savior of the world.

The life of Jesus gives evidence that He is indeed

the One the prophets spoke about.

Isaiah prophesied that, The virgin will conceive a child

and will give birth to a son.

Centuries later, the birth of Jesus

was the fulfillment of that prophecy.

The Holy Scriptures declared that the Holy One to be born

would be called the Son of God.

This means that Jesus was to be called the Son of God

in a spiritual, not a physical sense.

We see this in how he lived His life.

He Healed people from disease, forgave their sins,

turned them back to God and promised them a place

in God's eternal kingdom.

He offered Himself as a sacrifice for sin

in their place and then rose again, conquering death.

Jesus said, No one can take my life from me.

I lay it down of my own accord.

The life of Jesus not only fulfilled the writings

of the prophets, but also confirmed

the truth of God's Holy Word.

The prophets declared, The Word of the Lord is flawless,

Your Word, oh, Lord, is eternal.

Jesus Himself said, Heaven and earth will pass away,

but My words will never pass away.

Jesus came to give us life in all its fullness.

But when man disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden,

he chose to go his own way,

and his actions separated him from the Creator.

The Holy Scriptures declare that all have sinned

and the payment for sin is death,

this means a spiritual death, eternal separation from God.

But just as God provided a ram

to die in place of Abraham's son,

so He sent Jesus the Messiah to die in our place.

His life, death and resurrection restored

the relationship between God and all those

who put their trust in Him.

Now, those who follow Jesus not only have their sins forgiven,

but are saved from God's eternal judgment.

They are assured of paradise and will live with Him forever.

It is this life and freedom from the guilt and power of sin

that Jesus offers each person today.

This does not mean following a religion but choosing to have

faith in Jesus who says, I stand at the door and knock.

If anyone hears my voice and opens the door,

I will come into Him.

This means turning to God and trusting Jesus

to come into our lives, to forgive our sins

and to make us what He wants us to be.

It is not enough to intellectually agree

with His claims,

nor to have an emotional experience.

We receive Him by grace through faith as an act of the will.

When people are ready to become followers of Jesus the Messiah,

they may speak to Him in a simple prayer.

Perhaps you are ready now to open your life to God.

If so, you may join in the following prayer to Him

silently in your heart;

Lord Jesus, I need you.

Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins.

I confess and repent of my sins.

I open the door of my life

and receive You as my Savior and Lord.

Thank you for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life.

Make me the kind of person you want me to be,

as I become one of your followers.

Amen.

Jesus said about His followers, My sheep recognize My voice.

I know them, and they follow Me.

In order to experience the abundant life

which Jesus promised, His followers talk to God

each day in prayer and read or listen to His word.

They tell others about Him and meet regularly

with those who love and follow Him.

Remember His wonderful promise.

All power is given to Me in Heaven and in earth.

Low, I am with you always, even to the end of the world.

After Sanctuary State Vote, Californians Give Gov. Brown Worst News Of His Career.

This week, Los Alamitos voted to reject California's sanctuary law.

Now, other cities are beginning to respond to the historic move, hitting Governor Jerry

Brown with what some people are calling the worst news of his political career.

It's over for him.The state of California shocked the nation when Governor Jerry Brown

signed the sanctuary law.

This piece of legislation forbids local law enforcement from helping federal authorities.

It prevents police from handing over violent criminals to the federal government — all

because they are illegal immigrants.The leaders of California have declared that they care

more about illegal aliens than American citizens, but not everyone in the state agrees.

Los Alamitos voted this week to reject the law, citing that it violates their oath to

uphold the U.S. Constitutional.

All things considered, that's a pretty good reason to reject a law.

The historic vote has people across the country talking.

Many in California have formed their own opinions.

The liberal media would have you believe that the rest of the state is outraged at Los Alamitos,

but that couldn't be further from the truth.As it turns out, numerous cities are considering

opting out as well.

In a very short order, we might have many regions in California that reject the sanctuary

law.

The County of Orange and several cities in Southern California soon might join Los Alamitos

in its bid to opt out of a controversial state law that limits cooperation with federal immigration

officials.

Officials with the county as well as leaders in Aliso Viejo and Buena Park said Tuesday

they plan to push for various versions of the anti-sanctuary ordinance approved in Los

Alamitos late Monday by a 4-1 vote of that city council.

"There's a pretty good amount of cities interested and they want to know about the

process," said Los Alamitos Mayor Troy Edgar, who spent Tuesday fielding calls and e-mails

from officials in other cities and others interested in the push.

To the casual observer, this might be a startling sequence of events, but it comes as no surprise

to those of us who are paying attention.

While California's leaders are reckless and treasonous, there are many patriotic citizens

in the state.

They are outraged over the radical direction Brown and his lawmakers are taking California.They

have put toxic policy ahead of the basic needs of their people.

Their sanctuary law is the latest in a series of bad movies that put American citizens at

risk.

Meanwhile, the state still suffers from recent wildfires and mudslides.

Experts predict another coming drought, but Brown is more concerned with putting criminal

aliens back on the streets.

Los Alamitos, along with these other cities, do not want illegal aliens wreaking havoc

in their communities.

The list of other cities considering a similar vote is growing.

Orange County Supervisor Michelle Steel said in a statement Tuesday that she plans to present

a similar ordinance to the Board of Supervisors…

Aliso Viejo Mayor Dave Harrington said his council will discuss similar action next month…

Buena Park Councilwoman Beth Swift said she will follow the lead as well and will request

a discussion on the measure at the next council meeting.

Huntington Beach had been considering opting out of the state's sanctuary law even before

Los Alamitos' decision, Assemblyman Allen told the publication.

While Jerry Brown and his cronies enjoy peace and safety in their gated mansions, the rest

of the state suffers from unchecked illegal immigration.

These cities and counties have seen the damage caused by drug cartels and criminals.

To have their governor defy the federal government like this is an insult to every hard-working

resident.

Of course, California's Socialist regime isn't taking this lying down.

As usual, they cast conservatives who oppose them as racists.

California's Senate leader, Kevin de León, who authored the controversial sanctuary law

and is aiming for U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein's seat, said the law doesn't violate the Constitution

and those councils opting out of it are risking to be sued.

The Los Alamitos Council's "symbolic vote in favor of President Trump's racist immigration

enforcement policies is disappointing," de León told the Ventura County Star.

Much like the boy who cried wolf, liberals constantly calling conservatives racist is

getting tired and pointless.

There are clear reasons why we cannot allow illegal immigration in our country.

Democrats have zero excuses for defending criminal behavior.

All they can do is throw insults.Don't be surprised to learn about more cities rejecting

the sanctuary law.

This will soon snowball across the state.

New Earth Creation As More Awaken, More Light Will Be Held, Which Manifests Into the Creation

Of The New Earth

Recent Energy

There has been a lot of energy changes/upgrades for all these last few weeks, I have been

so busy with clients and writing my daily energy reports, and dealing with the upgrades,

I have barely had time to keep up with all of them.

Yet it is very important for everyone to be aware and have their consciousness uplifted

by the energy that is changing and initiating light body activations in the Ascension process.

About 5 times or more I have felt shifts coming in where I would feel a shift come through

my body, this then manifests into a dizzy spell and I feel like I am going to fall off

my chair.

This lasts about 15 minutes and then is gone.

We have also been experiencing bouts of nausea, fatigue, sleep issues, and vivid dreams are

back again.

There has also been a feeling of unease, as if we don�t know what to do with ourselves.

This came in about 1 week ago and is still here.

As an energy expert I notice all the very small things others may pass by not thinking

anything about them.

Yet many experience ascension symptoms at the same time in the ascension process and

no matter how small they are, all important and point to our acceleration and building

of the light body.

Many geomagnetic storms and increased solar wind have taken place the last few weeks but

they have only usually lasted a day, I didn�t feel they were long lasting enough to write

a report on.

These will always bring in more DNA changes to the light body.

Timeline Shifts By Those in 3D Many who have been in 3D have been reporting

to me they are now experiencing the shift.

This is the first time since I have been reporting on the energies ( since 2010), I have had

so many people that are not in the spiritual community start to come to me with their other

dimensional experiences.( this means out of this realm) Most of them have been seeing

things from other dimensions or having full blown experiences of shifting timelines.

This is a very important fact because for the first time, it is showing how the light

is affecting everyone.

Time Speeding Up Time has sped up again.

Days are going by faster and faster and the feeling is there is not enough time to get

everything done.

This is an indiction of frequency increases as we will all vibrate faster once the shift

is complete.

I know this from my own Near Ascension Experience in 2013 where I almost completed ascended

and stopped at the last minute.

For the next 2 weeks after the experience I was vibrating so fast , everyone here seemed

in slow motion.

It is not easy to exist in the higher realms and here at the same time.

This is what happens I tune into those who have passed, they have a very high, and fast

vibration.

This is all documented on my you tube channel for anyone who would like to hear what it

was like.

Mandela Effect It has been reported that Billy Graham died

last week.

This is a Mandela effect person as I know he has died ten times for me, once each year

for the past ten years at least.

If you do not remember Billy Graham or the many other celebrities who have already passed

on, try to remember the memory this time because it will happen again.

If you can hang onto this memory, this shows you are able to retain your own reality and

are not being affected by the changing timelines.

If you watched some of my past interviews you would have seen me talk about the Mandela

effect and go into some detail.

A longer article though I feel is needed again to upgrade everyone on what is going on.

The goal is even with the Mandela Effect, we want to be the masters of our own realities

and frequencies.

We want to have the memory of what has happened in the past and not have it be erased by a

new timeline.

I have been the master of my own reality for many years now.

This is how I am able to remember the shifting Mandela effect timelines.

Everyone can do this and everyone will want to do this with help anchoring in to the New

Earth.

Dark Forces The dark that has been in charge are feeling

pushed against the wall, as much of the population continues to awaken and hold more light.

The more that awaken, the more can awaken.

This is why it is so important to work on your own awakening first.

Until I reached the mastery level of my own frequency many years ago, I was too busy working

on myself to help anyone else, now I help others to attain the same awareness.

The dark forces are being pushed by our awakening, so this is even more impetus to work day and

night on awakening even further.

In my own journey, years ago, this is exactly what I did.

I manifested a situation that was perfect for me so I could only work on my own evolvement.

Everyone has the capability to do this.

We can all create and manifest what will work best for us to evolve.

The goal is to be able to put as much time as possible now into evolving past 3D mindsets.

This is where we see the TRUTH of all things and see beyond the dark agendas.

As we see the dark forces push back, we can smile and know they have less and less to

feed on.

Since lower vibrations is what they live on, we must always be sure and stay out of these

lower vibrational realms.

This is fear, depression, sadness and negativity.

The spiritual community must work very hard now to keep the vibration high as we are in

the final stretch with the dark forces.

The higher we shine, the more they do not exist for us.

Relationships Many relationships have been having issues

as many struggle to present their higher selves to the world and their partner.

This means tapping into our authentic selves and many are in the process of this right

now.

As more light is held, there is more pressure to become the authentic self.

Compassion towards our partners in their journey must be given as they go through this process

because it is not an easy one.

Relationships now will move forward or break apart but with both searching for who they

really are and what their place is in the New Earth.

As the light continues to build and create the light body, we will see more and more

things in the sky and earth we have not seen before.

Pay attention to the MSM because they will say it has been around forever but remember

we are entering new realities all the time now.

The best timeline is being chosen now with inter dimension Earth shining through for

all of us to see and witness.

New Earth Many ask me who will go to the New Earth.

My answer is all humans will go.

I was told this about a year ago by the higher realms.

They have never been wrong:)

All humans will have a chance to raise their frequencies high enough to create the New

Earth and be a part of this fantastic process we are going through.

We are right now in the middle of this creation.

We are right now going through the intense process of light body activations which leads

to our new reality and dimension.

The way things will unfold will not be how many are saying yet it will make sense to

everyone as the time comes.

We are in the most important time right now because the New Earth is being formed right

now as darkness is being extinguished.

Do not look to the future but be in the NOW moment when everything is taking place.!

As A Way Of Life A How To Guide

Anyone involved in Consciousness and Spiritual circles, and beyond, has heard about living

with Love endlessly.

The question is how many actually embrace this all the way to give their souls what

it has been looking for?

There are many levels to implementing this and we need to look at all of them.

I have found myself lately, after accepting to release old Core Beliefs that characterized

my old life, on a stormy journey into accepting and living by my NEW Core Beliefs.

My soul has been bringing forth many new emotions and life-changing decisions that are more

drastic and uncomfortable than ever before, but somehow they feel very familiar and real.

Many epiphanies and AH HA moments have followed.

I have had to accept the process, let go and to allow my new/old light to awaken and guide

me towards the Real me and my real life.

I have been living life a certain way since I remember myself, within society and its

construct.

Yet, I have never felt comfortable with this.

I have always looked at society as a faulty experiment that separates, not unites.

For example, I looked for a career that would give me freedom, creativity, a great income,

and the ability to be self-employed.

I looked within the usual industries that exist within our world economy and had a very

difficult finding something that resonated with me.

I struggled with that until the last couple of years when I let go and let a new energy

guide me.

LOVE is TRUTH.

They are the same.

As we awaken and start living and creating in the Fifth Dimension, a lot of our perception

of the world becomes more and more clear, we extract what is real and all that is fake.

If we look at the world of today, with our global economy, politics, environmental issues,

the stress of daily life, competition, and the lack of empathy the Third Dimension had

gotten us accustomed to, we end up understanding one clear thing: ALL THOSE THINGS ARE ARTIFICIAL.

They are frameworks we have had to live within, to bear, and often, especially with financial

and environmental issues, to succumb to, unfortunately.

This is 3D life, not 5D existence and we need to see it for what it is.

None of these things are real.

We need to learn how to navigate through them but release the fear associated with them.

They do not need to dictate our lives anymore.

We are looking for the TRUTH, and the truth is that we need to let go of frameworks that

cause us anguish, pain and stress and to create a framework of our own.

We need to look at our lives, to understand what makes us happy and what we love and to

work towards making that a reality.

We can no longer convince ourselves that things are real because those who surround us do.

They still are not.

LOVE is FREEDOM.

Let me illustrate: I am a city dweller.

I always have been.

Yet inside it always seemed to me to be completely foreign.

My fondest memories were always related to nature, animals, things taken for granted

by most.

I left, with my other-half, a life of stress in a bustling city for quieter island life

which has been chaotic at times.

For years we had spent our active time in high-pressure jobs to make financially what

we needed to be comfortable and FREE (temporarily) from the pressure a big city wreaks on your

economical situation.

The bottom line is we never were.

I always felt like this is a faulty design and there must be something better and more

fluid and supportive.

This pervasive state of fear just didn�t make sense, so much that we left over night.

Over the years we have looked at our lives and asked ourselves what would really make

us happy.

In turn, events have lead us to relocate soon to the other side of the world and we are

ecstatic.

Looking at the lifestyle there, city life and so on, I was irked repeatedly by having

to entertain the thought we might fall into this mold of pressure once again, this time

on a greater level.

I have been a spiritual guide for almost a decade and have received people from all walks

of life to help them, but I had been pursuing a large scale technological project for years,

driven by the need to succeed and create.

As the months passed and we found ourselves in 2018, the new energies stormed in and started

to create a paradigm shift in what we wanted from life.

We wanted our FREEDOM, to live by the principles I had been living by for a decade, but to

have them as part of our physical life.

The desire of success became null.

I asked myself why again and again.

What does that word even mean?

By the end of this awakening process we realized I wanted to be HAPPY and to LOVE LIFE and

for LIFE to be LOVE, and if the principles I had espoused weren�t completely in my

life I couldn�t access that fully.

A veil was lifted and clarity stood before our eyes: What is REAL?

Success isn�t, our economy isn�t, our search for resources isn�t, status, the

government isn�t, race isn�t, religion isn�t.

I understood I wanted nothing to do with any of these constructs and if any contact may

it be minimal.

What is REAL?

Love is real, and that love I find in the only place I feel at home: Nature.

Animals, this planet, our nature and each other.

These are the ONLY values that are REAL in the fullest sense of the word, and that should

be minded.

Everything else we hold to be a framework is completely manmade and artificial and no

longer serves any purpose.

Yes, we do need to navigate through this, pay our taxes, drive our cars and so on, but

this time, may it be on our own terms, not by default of living in a construct we reject

and are no match for energetically.

So we asked ourselves, why do we need to start over on the same terms?

Why can�t we start over in the countryside far away from what we no longer need, why

can�t we entertain a part of our journey spent on the road?

Suddenly it seemed normal.

Personally and professionally I parted with my previous venture and set on doing what

I should have a decade prior: writing these words and helping Ascending beings like myself

get the assistance I once got from someone who changed my life.

In the end, this is who I am, what I do every day regardless, so why not do this to create

a home in the physical world as well?

2018 has brought with it the final stages of Ascension for many who have been on this

journey for a long time.

It gives us the gift of Truth and Freedom.

We need to implement this on our own.

Truth is all there ever was and we are meant to be free from all that isn�t real/true.

The steps we must now take are simple.

We need to embrace the new energies and not be afraid to let go of whatever position we

are in professionally, romantically, in terms of family.

Our new/old selves are guiding us towards what we have always been, though that may

be completely different from what we may be right now.

Embrace the change by understanding this is the only time in your lives you have been

truly awake and alive and there is no negative impact even though it may sting a bit on the

way to FREEDOM.

The Last part of the puzzle is simple.

Truth in your hearts.

Start sitting with yourself daily and with your guidance, explore the areas of your lives

that are still problematic and ask yourselves in all honesty who you feel you are and what

you believe your purpose is.

If you have been doing the same job forever and have yet to leave it for fear of what

may happen, but get absolutely no satisfaction or enrichment from it, your time to leave

should have been yesterday.

If fear dictates what you are still doing, love needs to replace it and you must go.

If you awake or awakening and have acquired knowledge over the decade, your place is hardly

at a desk doing something that isn�t you.

So find what is YOU.

Wherever you end up, that is exactly where you always been.

It's a little bit slippery as you can see.

Today it's Monday, March 12. It's 12pm right now.

Today I wanted to show you some of Boone's roads with snow, this is the downtown,

filled with snow.

As you can see around me it's all white.

This is how snow falls here in Boone.

A lot of snow falls here because we are in the mountains.

And when it snows, it snows a lot, it's not just a little bit of snow.

This video will be me showing you roads and places with snow.

And we are going to show you a whole lot more of places.

Ok amigos, this is the old post office.

This the one in the downtown, but they made a new one in another road.

Doc Watson is one of the local characters here.

He grew and lived in this area in Boone.

Doc Watson was a normal person like all of us.

Although he was blind, he earned to play the guitar,

to help his family.

Until a producer found him and he won a Grammy Award.

But all he wanted was to make money for his family.

That's why they made this statue, because the people say he is "Just one of the People."

So the next time you want to do something, don't hesitate to do it.

I have already showed you this house 2 times.

One time in the fourth of July video and another in the Halloween video.

But this time,

It's covered with snow.

This is the famous Jones House of Boone.

Here,

they do a lot of organizations,

for festivals

they have music classes,

and they prepare parades too.

It's like our Casa De La Cultura in Mexico.

This is the statue of Daniel Boone.

Daniel Boone was the founder of... well Boone, hence the name.

And...

And this statue, according to stories, is where Daniel Boone camped

every time he came to this territory.

Now, this territory is the Appalachian University.

They were going to make a new building for the university,

but when they found out this is were Daniel Boone camped,

they decided to put this statue instead to honor him.

This is the statue of Yosef.

Yosef is the mascot of the Appalachian State University.

His name comes from a saying said here a lot:

"As you get older, remember to be yourself."

Yourself went on to be "Yosef"

In Spanish the saying would be: "Mientras creces, no olvides ser tu mismo".

Well amigos, this part of Boone, is called the Greenway.

This is a place where in the Summer we come to walk and run.

But because it snowed, we can use it to sled and have fun.

Border Patrol Agents Just BEAT California Governor Jerry Brown At His Own Game! - Duration: 4:30.

Border patrol agents have had enough of California�s lawlessness and they just found a way around

the states sanctuary status.

According to a top border security official in San Diego, border agents are now refusing

to hand over illegals with felony warrants to California police as they can�t be sure

local authorities will abide by the law and return the criminal illegals to federal custody.

From The Daily Caller

Rodney Scott, the chief patrol agent in the Border Patrol�s San Diego Sector, said earlier

this month that California�s statewide sanctuary law was undermining normal cooperation between

his agency and local law enforcement.

In a little-reported declaration in support of the Department of Justice�s March 6 lawsuit

against California, Scott recalled multiple instances in which a Border Patrol agent in

the San Diego sector determined that releasing a criminal alien to a local law enforcement

would likely result in the person being released without notification to federal authorities.

�In each instance, the Border Patrol Agent determined it was not appropriate, consistent

with his or her federal responsibilities to ensure the enforcement of immigration law,

to release a criminal alien to the state and local law enforcement,� Scott said in a

court declaration.

�This was because, although the alien was subject to removal, if released to California

law enforcement, the alien would ultimately be released into the public.�

Scott�s declaration, first reported March 19 by a local San Diego nonprofit news outlet,

blamed the decisions on the California Values Act, the sanctuary state law that went into

effect at the beginning of 2018.

Also known as SB 54, the law sharply restricts communication between local police and federal

immigration authorities, including about when criminal aliens are going to be released from

local jails.

Passed with widespread support among leading California Democrats, SB54 is the centerpiece

of the state�s resistance to the Trump administration�s crackdown on illegal immigration.

It was among three California laws the DOJ challenged in its lawsuit, which argues the

state�s sanctuary policies amount to a �significant intrusion into federal enforcement of the

immigration laws.�

After fewer than four months in effect, SB54 has begun to harm working relationships between

local and federal law enforcement in southern California, according to Scott�s declaration.

Particularly troubling, he says, is that state and local officers are less willing to respond

to Border Patrol agents� calls for assistance.

In one example, the El Cajon Police Department refused to help Border Patrol agents pursue

three suspects who were fleeing in a vehicle, despite multiple requests form Border Patrol

dispatch.

�After the event, it was determined that the officer declined the request to assist

presuming it was an immigration matter, as opposed to a fleeing subject whose identity/immigration

status was not known at the time of the incident,� Scott wrote.

�This declination for assistance occurred even though it involved a vehicle that failed

to yield, endangering federal law enforcement and the public while traveling on a California

Interstate and highway within their jurisdiction.�

Other California sanctuary laws have impacted the Border Patrol�s ability to locate illegal

aliens, Scott says.

One is Assembly Bill 450, a law enacted in October that, among other provisions, prevents

businesses from granting border agents access to �nonpublic� areas of their property

unless the agent has a judicial warrant.

Scott says AB 450 has interfered longstanding working relationships between Border Patrol

agents and local businesses, reducing agents� ability to observe human smuggling and other

cross-border crimes.

�If employers are not able to provide such consensual access, Border Patrol�s ability

to detect and interdict real time illegal activity, ranging from criminal activity to

the smuggling of narcotics to potential terrorists seeking to enter the United States, along

the border will be diminished,� Scott said.

AB 450 was another of the laws targeted in DOJ�s lawsuit, the first to be filed against

a local or state government over immigration enforcement issues.

The Trump administration argues that successful enforcement of the Immigration and Nationality

Act assumes cooperation between private companies and federal, state, and local agencies.

I`m Carl Azuz and I spy some awesome! It`s Friday. We`re happy to have you watching as

CNN 10 wraps up another week

of news.

Today`s down the middle coverage starts with a look new tariffs which are like taxes that

the U.S. is placing on certain imports. We`ve talked about

the Trump administration`s previous tariffs on steel, aluminum, solar panels and washing

machines. The new ones that U.S. President Donald Trump

is putting in place are on about $50 billion worth of imported goods from China.

It`s a sort of punishment on China for what the U.S.

says are unfair trade practices that never should have been allowed by previous American

leaders.

President Trump says he thinks of China as a friend, but that the trade deficit that

the U.S. has with China, the fact that America imports far

more goods from China than it exports to China is unacceptable.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DONALD TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: It is the largest deficit of any country in

the history of our world. It`s out of control.

AZUZ: Some economists are afraid this could start a trade war, when countries increase

restrictions on another`s products and prices rise. And

the U.S. stock market dropped yesterday significantly, partially because some investors were concerned

that would happen. The Trump administration

says the new tariffs would only have a small effect on Americans but an expert on international

trade says Americans will end up having to pay more

for every day items, and a Chinese government official says a trade war does no good to

anyone, that there is no winner.

The tariffs won`t take effect immediately. It will probably be more than a month before

they`re in place.

Next story today, the Toyota Motor Company says it`s temporarily stopping its test of

self driving cars. The Boston Department of Transportation has

asked autonomous car companies to pause testing there and the Uber transportation company

says it`s stopped self-driving cars throughout the

U.S. and Canada.

This all follows an incident that happened on Sunday in Tempe, Arizona. That night, a

self-driving Uber SUV hit and killed a pedestrian. The

victim was walking her bicycle across a road when she was struck by an autonomous Volvo.

Police say the pedestrian was not using a crosswalk and that there`s also no indication

that the self driving vehicle slow down beforehand. It was

travelling at about 40 miles per hour.

Uber says it`s fully cooperating with the police investigation and that the company`s

hearts go out to the victim`s family.

This isn`t the first crash of a self-driving car, but it is believed to be the first time

someone was killed by a fully autonomous vehicle. The SUV

did have a test-driver inside, a person there as a safeguard, but the car was in self-driving

mode when the crash occurred. Police say there were no

signs that the test driver was impaired in any way after the collusion.

The state of Arizona doesn`t get a lot of rain. It`s a popular place for self-driving

car tests. Arizona`s governor updated an executive order

earlier this month before the crash that allows self-driving cars to use state roads without

a test driver.

As their name suggests, Antarctica`s Dry Valleys have extremely low humidity and almost no

snow or ice to cover them.

AZUZ: An international campaign has been launched to create a massive sanctuary, a protective

area in the oceans around Antarctica. But that

would make fishing there illegal. And that`s part of the reason why efforts like this have

failed in years past.

According to the environmental group Greenpeace, the international fishing industry has been

using these waters to catch krill. These animals are

like tiny shrimp. They`re an important food source for the animals around Antarctica.

The krill are also important to people as they can be used in

oils, supplements and pet food.

We don`t know yet whether the international community will agree to establish a new sanctuary

but we did get a close-up view of Antarctica.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

ARWA DAMON, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): It`s an ethereal world that we wake up to

our first morning in the Antarctic. That sort of harsh yet

captivating mystical beauty, with penguins swimming and jumping in the waters, right

around our ship, the Arctic Sunrise.

(on camera): It`s so beautiful and quiet, you almost don`t even want to speak above

a whisper. And there is two whales right there. This is

absolutely unbelievable.

See them?

(voice-over): And as if the morning couldn`t get more striking, we are in the first week

of a month-long leg of a Greenpeace expedition that started

in January, a campaign to build the case for the creation of the world`s largest ocean

sanctuary in the Antarctic, which is a vital carbon sink.

And that`s what we`ve come to learn more about, the Antarctic`s potential to act as a buffer

to climate change. We started off in Punta Arenas in

Chile before hitting the Drake Passage, notorious for its huge swells and rough waters.

(on camera): It`s day four and we`re crossing through the Drake Passage. And we`re lucky

because by the Drake Passage`s standards, these are

actually really calm waters.

(voice-over): For many of the Greenpeace team on board and us, this is a first.

(on camera): Yes. I think those are seals.

(voice-over): Before we head to shore, all equipment and clothing needs to be carefully

cleaned.

(on camera): It`s quite interesting because, when you look at it from the outside in, it

feels like it`s this very harsh and robust environment. And

yet it`s incredibly sensitive.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It`s really sensitive, especially for the non-native species.

DAMON (voice-over): And we are off, heading toward Yankee Harbor.

(on camera): Oh, it`s so weird to be on land again.

Look at the seals!

(voice-over): This tiny island, like the rest of the massive land mass in the Antarctic,

is designated for scientific exploration and protected under

the Antarctic Treaty.

But that treaty does not extend to the Antarctic`s waters, hence Greenpeace`s mission. Even this

region`s most humorous of animals have

their role in nature`s equilibrium.

(on camera): What does that mean?

I don`t know what that means.

(voice-over): Marine biologist and Greenpeace campaigner, Thilo Maack (ph), has been looking

at the intricate links between these waters, its

wildlife and the fundamental role they play in Earth`s carbon cycle.

(on camera): If you look over there, they are trying to jump up on the ice. That is

hilarious.

THILO MAACK, MARINE BIOLOGIST AND GREENPEACE CAMPAIGNER: Yes, they are really cute, that`s

true. Yes, it`s -- the Antarctic is a cooling chamber

that mitigates the effects of climate change. And what happens here is having an effect

on the climate of the planet.

The ocean currents are driven by the cold waters of the Antarctic.

DAMON (voice-over): And the wildlife is central to driving carbon-rich biomass to the depths

of the dense, cold ocean waters, where it is then

stored for millennia if it`s left undisturbed.

There are still many unknowns and the more scientists uncover, the more questions arise.

But there is no doubt about the harmony here, one whose

preservation is potentially linked to our very existence.
